- Since Sami Zayn is the new WWE Champion on Smackdown Live I wonder who will be the first ever WWE Smackdown live Women's Champion? I guess we will find out at Judgment Day in the Elimination Chamber now won't we? However, I wonder just what kind of punishment will Iconic receive after that stunt they pulled at No Mercy helping Emma to become the new WWE RAW Women's Champion?
- As far as the WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships as far as the tag teams who are on Smackdown Live in that division I wonder if there will be a tournament to crown the first ever WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions?
- However, not to be outdone by Smackdown Live RAW GM Dario Cueto & RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon make an announcement as far as Bad Blood and their announcement being that they are going to have an Elimination Chamber too but it will be for the WWE Universal Championship. I mean how big is this? I mean how does Derrick Bateman or how will he react when he finds out that he has to defend his title against not 1 but 5 other guys inside the Chamber? I mean the chances of him walking out still WWE Universal Champion go out the window but it begs the question of which 5 superstars will be in the Elimination Chamber?
- I wonder if there will be qualifying matches to determine who gets in?

May 5th, 2014 | Episode 004 |"The Iconic One" SEGMENT: After a video package recapping Saturday's No Mercy Pay-Per-View event, Monday Night RAW kicked off with General Manager Dario Cueto in the ring. Dario reminded the WWE Universe of his announcement earlier tonight regarding Bad Blood on June 1st. "SmackDown Live through they were getting the upper-hand over RAW with the Elimination Chamber match for their Women's Title. But, I answered back in the form of RAW's own Elimination Chamber match for the Universal Championship!" Dario was then interrupted by the man who will defend the gold at Bad Blood, Derrick Bateman. 'The God of the New Era' was not thrilled with the idea of having to put the title on the line in the Chamber, but reminded himself of what he considered to be good news. "After the beating I gave him at No Mercy, AJ Styles will NOT be in the Elimination Chamber, nor will he be anywhere around MY ring for a long, long time." Bateman then asked Dario who would be competing in the qualifying matches, which was when Dario smiled and told Bateman that a few spots had already been solidified. "... Okay... why? Shouldn't the superstars of RAW need to prove themselves as being worthy of standing in the same Chamber structure as the Universal Champion?" Bateman asked. Dario informed Bateman that these superstars would not have to qualify because they've already proven themselves to Bateman. On the titantron appeared footage from Battleground back in February. Before the WarGames match, Bateman had promised his teammates - Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Bobby Roode and Bray Wyatt - that if they were victorious, he would give all of them Universal Championship matches in the future. Returning to the RAW live feed, Bateman's eyes and jaw were wide open, realizing what Dario was doing. "You never gave them their title shots, did you?" Dario asked the stunned champion. The RAW General Manager would uphold Bateman's end of the bargain on his behalf. Rollins, Owens, Roode and Wyatt will be four of the five challengers in the Elimination Chamber match. With one spot remaining, Finn Balor made his way down to the ring, 'The Demon' standing across from Bateman, who still had not made a single movement since the Battleground footage was played. Balor told Dario that out of all of the current Elimination Chamber participants, only one of them was defeated at No Mercy. "Seth Rollins failed, and who was it that pinned him in the middle of this ring?" Balor believed that his victory over Rollins should have granted him the final spot at Bad Blood, but Dario thought otherwise. "What I will do, Finn, is give you the chance to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match next week." When Balor asked who his opponent will be, 'The Demon' was attacked from behind by Matanza Cueto! Dario's little brother planted Balor onto the canvas with The Wrath of the Gods, Matanza then rising to his feet to stare down Bateman. Because of Bateman's desperation to win WarGames almost three months ago, Rollins, Owens, Roode and Wyatt are in the Elimination Chamber match, and next week, either Balor or Matanza will claim the final spot.
MATCH: Being the only team that Wrestling Royalty has yet to defeat from No Mercy's number one contenders, Chris Jericho and Christian tried their hand against Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig. Ultimately, Wrestling Royalty utilized a Doomsday Device to Christian to pick up the victory. Post-match, Bray Wyatt appeared on the titantron, one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions sending a message to the number one contenders. "Never overstay your welcome. When Luke Harper and Erick Rowan did so, my Tribe and I showed them their exit from relevancy in order to cast them into the hell that I've spent the last two years creating for individuals like the two of you. Someday... somewhere... your demise will become a reality at the hands of myself and the man who is making Abigail more proud than she could have ever imagined."
SEGMENT: After the commercial break, Chris Jericho and Christian were shown still in the ring, 'Captain Charisma' lashing out against both Monday Night RAW and the WWE Universe. Christian ranted about why he and Jericho should be the WWE Tag Team Champions right now before 'Y2J' struck his own partner in the back of the head with 'The List of Jericho' clipboard! Jericno continued to assault Christian before standing over him, proceeding to write his name down on his List.
MATCH: In a rematch from No Mercy, Enzo Amore and Big Cass were back for revenge against Braun Strowman. Towards the conclusion of the match, Enzo broke his leg after being thrown out of the ring by Braun, because it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. In the ring, Braun finished off Cass with a Running Powerslam to remain undefeated. Post-match, Cathy Kelley approached Braun for an interview to acknowledge the challenge laid out by Batista at No Mercy. Braun said that if Batista wanted to take the record for shortest comeback in WWE history, he would be glad to meet him in the ring at Bad Blood and finish him off for good. 'The Animal' goes one-on-one with 'The Monster Among Men' on June 1st!
SEGMENT: On a handheld camera, Seth Rollins cut a promo backstage about the Elimination Chamber match at Bad Blood. "We always knew that Derrick Bateman was a scumbag who could never keep his word. Luckily for us on his WarGames team, Dario Cueto is delivering justice. And at Bad Blood, I'll deliver the worst beating that Bateman, Kevin Owens, Bobby Roode and Bray Wyatt will ever receive in their sad, pathetic lives. And whether that last spot goes to Finn Balor or Matanza Cueto, the same will go for them. It's time for 'The Architect' to shape RAW the way he sees fit, and that's as the Universal Champion."
SEGMENT: In the ring at this time, Randy Orton addressed the WWE Universe after his back-to-back losses on Pay-Per-View to Kevin Owens. 'The Viper' said that things have not gone his way as of late, and he'll be the first to admit that. "I'm not sure exactly what point in time things went wrong. "Maybe it was when I decided to sell my soul to The Committee. Maybe it was when I let AJ Styles and Derrick Bateman humiliate me time after time. Or maybe, it was when I found out the hard way that for whatever reason, Kevin Owens has my number. This isn't who I am. This isn't the same 'Legend Killer' that became the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in history! This is not the same 'Viper' who let out his frustrations without any remorse! Whatever's going on with me... it ends now. This is a turning point for Randy Orton, which means this is a turning point for the entire RAW roster." As Orton was posing on the second rope, the signature of The Wyatt Tribe suddenly hit. When the lights came back on, Pentagon was shown in the ring, pulling Orton down to the canvas! Pentagon struck away on Orton with right hand strikes while Maxine watched from ringside, both Mauro Ranallo and Corey Graves questioning what motive Pentagon could possibly have had to go after 'The Viper.' Pentagon placed Orton in position to snap his arm, but didn't go through with it. Pentagon released Orton's arm before staring down at him. One-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions headed up the entrance ramp with Maxine, both superstars giving Orton the 'Cero Miedo' hand gesture.
SEGMENT: In another handheld camera promo, Heath Slater was shown backstage, telling the WWE Universe to make their voices be heard on social media. "Hashtag '#SignHeathSlater!' Let's get it trending, baby! Let's make this happen! RAW and SmackDown Live don't understand! I need this job! I got kids!" Slater shouted before Bobby Roode's voice could be heard. "Give me back my camera!" Roode chased off Slater, who dropped the camera on his way out. "Security! Get him! He doesn't work here!" After Roode picked the camera up from the floor, he said that an opportunity like the Elimination Chamber match is what he was promised after winning the Unique Opportunity Battle Royal. "Everything is finally coming together. The Universal Championship will be mine at Bad Blood, and then, the WWE Championship over on SmackDown Live. Get ready, because the WWE is about to become.... Glorious!"
MATCH: With a shot at Daniel Bryan's United States Championship on the line, Adam Cole was able to defeat Michael Bennett following a Brainbuster onto his knee. As Cole celebrated, Bryan's entrance music sounded as the United States Champion walked down to the ring. "Congratulations. You have my attention," Bryan said to Cole before leveling him in the head with his elbow! Bryan went after Cole, trying to deliver the Busaiku Knee before the new number one contender was able to storm out of the ring. Cole retreated while Bryan stared him down, the two set to do battle soon for the United States Championship."
SEGMENT: Backstage, Chris Jericho was shown leaving the arena when Cathy Kelley caught up with him for an explanation on his actions against Christian earlier tonight. 'Y2J' stated that for the past few months, he believed that he and Christian would be able to make a difference as a unit. "I thought that we could put the past behind us and do our part in teaching 'The New Era' a lesson in respect, but all this did was remind me that Christian has always been and always will be nothing more than a stupid idiot who is incapable of winning. But there is one good thing to come out of our partnership, and that's the fact that I've seen the light now. I realize that there's no point in fighting 'The New Era.' What I need to do now is establish my own 'Era.' One that the WWE Universe will never... EVER... forget. And if they do, well then..." Jericho said before holding up his List to the camera.
MATCH: Matt Hardy failed to regain the Hardcore Championship after Sofia Cortez was able to hit him with La Sicaria onto a trash can. During Sofia's post-match celebration, she was interrupted by Sasha Banks, who once again motioned for the Hardcore Championship. This time. Sofia raised the title into the face of 'The Boss,' letting her know that if she wanted an opportunity at the championship, all she needed to do was step up.
SEGMENT: In the final handheld camera promo of the night, Kevin Owens was shown sitting down on a set of stairs. "Life's just one big rollercoaster of emotions, isn't it? Saturday night, I got the biggest victory of my career against Randy Orton in a No Holds Barred match. Then, just 24 hours later, I had to endure the worst night of my life. I'm not going to explain why because all of you can figure it out for yourselves. The good thing about Backlash is that it motivated me even more than I already was to become Universal Champion because I am NOT going to sit around and let that piece of crap call himself a champion while I'm sitting here empty-handed! At Bad Blood, I am going to prove to everyone, including myself, that all of the miles traveled, all of the injuries, all of the time away from my family wasn't for nothing! I WILL become Universal Champion because I don't just want to, but because I NEED to!" Owens finished the promo by throwing the camera against a wall.
ANNOUNCEMENT: Next week, Monday Night RAW will hold three championship matches. Sofia Cortez vs. Sasha Banks for the Hardcore Championship; The Wyatt Tribe vs. Wrestling Royalty for the WWE Tag Team Championships ; and Daniel Bryan vs. Adam Cole for the United States Championship ; Plus, Finn Balor battles Matanza Cueto for the final spot in the Elimination Chamber match for the Universal Championship at Bad Blood.
MATCH: With a steel cage surrounding them to make sure there would be no outside interference this time, Emma put her newly-won WWE Women's Championship on the line against AJ Lee. Towards the conclusion of the contest, AJ was able to climb to the top of the structure, having the opportunity to regain the gold at that moment. However, AJ decided to take yet another career risk by Moonsaulting off of the cage and onto a standing Emma! Both women were down on the canvas, AJ being the first to show any signs of life as she crawled towards the door. However, Emma unlaced her right boot, removing what looked to be a black t-shirt. She crawled towards AJ, wrapping the shirt around her neck! Emma reeled back, choking AJ with all of her strength until she was unconscious. Emma then crawled out of the steel cage, dropping to the floor to retain the Women's Championship. Emma limped up the entrance ramp, but made sure to raise the Women's Title one more time to remind the world that Monday Night RAW is, in her words, "All about me." AJ soon came to in the ring, sitting cross-legged as she picked up the shirt that Emma choked her out with. AJ unfolded it to find out that it was an Iconic Duo t-shirt. AJ stared at the silhouettes of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce with a blank expression, being reminded that they're the reasons why she's no longer the WWE Women's Champion.

- Emma retained the WWE RAW Women's Championship against AJ Lee and she did it in a Steel Cage but this time without the help of Iconic. I will give Emma this that she held her own against AJ Lee hell she more than held her own against AJ especially alone and with no one else around especially in a 15 foot high steel cage. Yes Emma won but she won barely because she didn't even pin AJ or make her submit. She escaped from the ring but still a win is a win. Furthermore, it begs the question of where AJ Lee goes from here? I mean she lost the WWE RAW Women's Championship to Emma and then lost her rematch. AJ Lee I can somehow see her invading Smackdown Live at Judgment Day and she somehow gets into the Smackdown Elimination Chamber for the Smackdown Live Women's Championship making sure that Billie Kay and Peyton Royce lose their shot at becoming champion. Or I see AJ Lee somehow getting traded over to Smackdown Live in exchange for whoever and she ends up making life hell for Iconic.
- Owens is my darkhorse pick to walk out of the RAW Chamber for the WWE Universal Championship at Bad Blood and why? For the simple reason that his former best friend now turned bitter rival Sami Zayn is over on Smackdown Live as the WWE Champion and that he became a World Champion before Owens did. Furthermore, for that reason I can see Kevin Owens walking out of the RAW Chamber as the new WWE Universal Champion.
- Broken Matt Hardy loses another match when it comes to the WWE Hardcore Championship losing to the WWE Hardcore Champion Sofia Cortez and honestly I have to wonder just what is going on with Broken Matt Hardy? Sofia Cortez it looks like she is on the top of her game right now but really for how much longer? Sofia is challenged by none other than Sasha Banks especially with the WWE Hardcore Championship being on the line and all I have to say is what a matchup that will be.
- I still can't believe that Chris Jericho turned on his tag team partner Christian or maybe I can and why? Jericho probably feels that Christian was holding him back and he felt that he wasn't at the top of his game anymore especially having Christian at his side. Jericho is "The Best in the World" at everything he does and he doesn't really need Christian he never really did. However, as far as a Chris Jericho/Christian feud happening here on RAW makes sense and why? Simple reason...history their history dates back all the way to 2004 specifically WrestleMania 20. Flip side back then Jericho was the babyface going in and Christian was the heel but then throw in Trish Stratus into that history and the 2 of them embarrassed Jericho at WrestleMania 20. I am sure Jericho has never forgotten that. Fast forward 10 years later but role reversal with Christian being the babyface now and Jericho being the heel. This feud being reignited may even be good for the both of them.
- Adam Cole beats Michael Bennett to become the new #1 Contender for the WWE United States Championship which means a match between him and the WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan is inevitable at this point. This victory makes sense for Cole for the simple reason that Bennett he was in the ring with Daniel Bryan at No Mercy with the WWE United States Championship being on the line and he failed. Cole then attacked Bryan post-match so it only makes sense for Cole and Bennett to go at it. Daniel Bryan post-match shows up and returns the favor attacking Adam Cole but Adam Cole goes off in retreat. I think it is safe to say that the match will most likely happen at Bad Blood.
- Bobby Roode is also a darkhorse in the RAW Elimination Chamber for the WWE Universal Championship but seeing as how Roode is a free agent I mean could you imagine if he were to win this and become champion? Roode then could go over to Smackdown Live and challenge the WWE Champion and imagine if he ended up with both titles? I sure as the hell hope not
- Randy Orton being attacked out of nowhere by one half of the RAW Tag Team Champions Pentagon...I mean what was this about? I mean this attack being so unwarranted and out of nowhere like I don't even understand. However, just as Pentagon is about to snap Orton's arm he doesn't so I have to wonder why he didn't? Bray Wyatt Pentagon's tag team partner and the other half of the RAW Tag Team Champions shows up after the attack...I have to wonder what the hell that was all about?
- Seth Rollins has to be the favorite going into the Chamber and why? Not only does he have Triple H in his back pocket to help him out but he I am sure has Stephanie's backing as well but then again Rollins is going to be in there with 5 other guys so he has as much a chance as anyone to become WWE Universal Champion but will he? I mean he has failed Triple H twice already the first time was at WrestleMania 30 and then the next time was at No Mercy when he failed to get the job done against Finn Balor so I wonder if Rollins should fail a 3rd time if Triple H won't just cut his losses and discard Rollins?
- Braun Strowman beating both Big Cass and Enzo Amore yet again 2 on 1 just goes to show us that Braun is not just a Beast he is a damn Monster he is what he says is a Monster Among Men...Big Cass is a big guy probably just as big as Strowman and Strowman handled him like nothing. Strowman then monster handled Enzo and Enzo no doubt after all of that has to be injured. It begs the question of just who can stop Braun Strowman here on RAW? I mean can anyone?
- Braun accepting Batista's challenge for a match at Bad Blood and honestly it is a match that I know I can't wait to see...a damn Dream Match as far as I am concerned
- Wrestling Royalty beating Chris Jericho & Christian just goes to show us that DiBiase & Hennig are on top of their game right now especially after earning the right to become #1 Contenders for the RAW Tag Team Championships back at No Mercy. However, they are going up against The Wyatt Tribe. The Wyatt Tribe on a good day are not only eerie they are downright terrifying and what makes DiBiase & Hennig think that they stand any chance against Bray Wyatt & Pentagon the RAW Tag Team Champions? Add Maxine into the mix who is a factor at ringside I don't see how DiBiase & Hennig can become RAW Tag Team Champions.
- Of course RAW GM Dario Cueto would say that he doesn't want to be outdone by his competition that being Kurt Angle who is the Smackdown GM...so he makes a RAW Chamber but for the WWE Universal Championship. Dario only did that because he didn't want Kurt upstaging him and let's face it who has the better brand? In my opinion I would say Smackdown Live has the better show but that is just me.
- Derrick Bateman as the WWE Universal Champion he has to be a huge disadvantage inside the RAW Chamber because the thing with Elimination Chamber matches the champion always has a 16.666666666666%%%%%% chance to walk out champion and it also comes to luck of the draw too. I mean if Bateman starts out the match first then he almost has no chance of walking out champion but if he comes out of his chamber last then he has a big advantage but at the same time in the Chamber it is every man for himself in there. However, Bateman he has never been in an Elimination Chamber match so that puts him at a big disadvantage. The only superstar out of the superstars in the Chamber who actually has Chamber experience is one half of the RAW Tag Team Champions and that is Bray Wyatt. Wyatt in this diary has been in a Chamber before so this match gives him a huge advantage over the superstars in it.
- Finn Balor having to qualify for the Chamber by facing The Monster Matanza Cueto...the GMs brother no less I mean this is clearly blatant favoritism on Dario's part and even more of a bias towards superstars who he hates. I don't see how Balor qualifies next week unless The Big Dog Roman Reigns interferes in this match and I think Roman will cost Matanza the match. Roman Reigns vs Matanza Cueto is far from being over and it is for that reason why I see Reigns spearing the hell out of Matanza on the outside spearing him through the barricade and Finn wins by countout to qualify.

May 7th, 2014 | Episode 004 | "Retaliation"
SEGMENT: Kicking off NXT was the arrival of SAnitY, Eric Young speaking out for the first time to answer questions that have been circulating the five-piece unit ever since their debut at TakeOver: New Orleans last month. Young stated that when the acquisition of TNA was completed, he was signed to NXT, but decided to use this opportunity to turn the brand on its head. "I put my strength in numbers, and what you see before you is the result. The most destructive, chaotic force that the WWE has ever seen! And together, we are going to rip NXT apart piece-by-piece, and limb from limb!" SAnitY was then interrupted by Ricochet and Uhaa Nation, the former NXT Tag Team Champions who have been targeted by SAnitY. Young told the duo that there was no personal reason for the assaults. "You two just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and until you both are out of the picture, the agony will continue!" Ricochet and Uhaa stepped onto the ring apron, Jimmy Havoc and Darby Allin being the two to stand up to them. Havoc took the microphone and said that if they wanted a chance at revenge, they could have one tonight. SAnitY left the ring together through the audience, the main event for tonight being set as Havoc and Allin will battle Ricochet and Uhaa.MATCH: Having not been pinned or submitted at TakeOver: New Orleans, American Alpha received one more opportunity at the NXT Tag Team Championships. After sending Jason Jordan sternum-first into the top turnbuckle to counter his Ankle Lock, Jinder Mahal planted him with the Khallas after a Claymore Kick from Drew McIntyre. Mahal got the cover on Jordan to retain the titles for himself and McIntyre.
MATCH: In the second qualifier for the Fatal Four Way Number One Contenders match, Tye Dillinger was able to put Magnus away following the Tye Breaker. The "Ten!" chants took over the Full Sail Arena as Dillinger looks to take over Chicago on June 21st for his first NXT Title match against Kyle O'Reilly.SEGMENT: At this time, footage from last week post-broadcast was shown of the NXT Women's Champion Nicole Matthews having an ice pack applied to the back of her neck after being defeated by Ember Moon's Eclipse. As Nicole tried catching her breath, she looked off to the side and saw Nikki Cross peaking into the room. Nikki laughed maniacally before going on her way, reminding Nicole that next week, it's the two of them against each other. MATCH: With Hideo Itami out with an injury, Paul Heyman introduced his newest client to the world in the form of a 6 foot 3, 300 pound mammoth named Lars Sullivan. The local competitor who stood across from Sullivan never stood a chance as he was thrown around the ring before Sullivan slammed him onto the canvas with a waist-lift side slam. Heyman raised the arm of Sullivan, 'The Advocate' vowing to remain at the forefront or NXT through his new client.SEGMENT: The scheduled main event contest between SAnitY, and Ricochet and Uhaa Nation never officially got started as the latter two were attacked from behind by Jimmy Havoc and Darby Allin on their way down to the ring. The two teams brawled through the Full Sail Arena, Ricochet leaping over the barricade onto Havoc. When he got to his feet, Allin jumped from the top turnbuckle with a Trust Fall onto him! Uhaa ran towards Allin, kicking him in his ribs before he was blindsided by Nikki Cross, who latched onto his back and tried raking out his eyes. Eric Young and Tommaso Ciampa used that opening to go after Uhaa, singling him out in the ring. Young set up a steel chair in the center of the squared circle, Ciampa planting Uhaa onto It with a Celtic Cross! Once again, SAnitY successfully laid out Ricochet and Uhaa, the NXT Universe being left to wonder if the former NXT Tag Team Champions will ever be able to combat the stable.

After sliding out of the Golden Star Powerbomb, Ospreay ran the ropes, springboarding off of the second rope for the OsCutter! Ibushi was dazed on his knees, Ospreay running towards him with a Corkscrew kick to the back of his head! "How has Ibushi not been knocked out?!" Daniel Bryan shouted on commentary. 'The Aerial Assassin' went for one more OsCutter, but this time, it was countered into a bridging German Suplex! Ospreay practically folded onto his neck, Ibushi heading up to the top rope for a Phoenix Splash! Ibushi got the cover, putting Ospreay away to wrap up the first round of the Cruiserweight Classic. - Lars Sullivan as Paul Heyman's newest client with Lars being officially a Paul Heyman Guy I wonder what this means as far as Hideo Itami? I mean Hideo is a Paul Heyman Guy or he was so has he been replaced? If he has then I can think of no one better to replace Itami as a Paul Heyman Guy than Lars Sullivan. Lars reminds me so much of a young Brock Lesnar that it is almost scary and the fact that Heyman has taken Lars under his wing who knows before we know it Lars could be a mega star. Look at what he has done for not just Lesnar's career but what he did for Punk's career as well and Itami's.
- Sanity laying out Ricochet and Uhaa Nation yet again for the 2nd straight week, it makes me wonder just who can or who will be able to stop Sanity?
- Nikki Cross of Sanity who knows perhaps she could be next in line for a shot at that NXT Women's Championship especially after coming face to face with the NXT Women's Champion Nicole Matthews

My pick is Punk and why? After the way that WWE Championship tournament ended and how Zayn beat Punk in the Finals to become WWE Champion, yes it will be Punk. Plus the way these 2 had such a classic match I mean how could you not go with Zayn/Punk again for the WWE Championship at Judgment Day?

May 8th, 2014 | Episode 004 | "Trophy Father" INTRO: After the WWE signature, a video package was shown to highlight Sami Zayn's career up to this point, beginning with his NXT debut in November 2012. "Something's Gotta Give" by All Time Low acted as the backing track as Zayn's ups and downs. Zayn managed to close out 2013 as the NXT Champion at last, but his reign quickly came to an end at TakeOver: R Evolution. When Zayn failed to regain the title in New Orleans against Finn Balor, 'The Underdog from the Underground' decided that it was time to make the jump to the main roster. "Wake me up. Say enough is enough. I'm dying to live. Something's gotta give." After being drafted to SmackDown Live in the first round of the Draft, Zayn was placed into a tournament at Backlash for the vacant WWE Championship. This past Sunday night, Zayn managed to defeat Tyler Breeze, John Cena and CM Punk to shock the world and capture the WWE Title. The final shot at the video was Zayn holding up the championship as confetti rained down onto him, ushering in his era here on SmackDown Live as the new WWE Champion.
SEGMENT: In the arena here in Buffalo, The Miz welcomed everybody to what he promised to be a special edition of Miz TV. His plan for the past month had been to present himself as the new WWE Champion on this show, but because of the political backing that Paige has by the WWE office, that won't be happening. "But you know what? For just this one instance, that's okay because I still have a major announcement to make. But before we get there, I wanted to bring out my special guest tonight. Somebody who over the last few weeks has been the subject of immense controversy after he spoke out against an issue that he felt passionate about," Miz said, the WWE Universe, Rob Naylor and Nigel McGuinness putting the pieces together to figure out for themselves who the guest. "As a matter of fact, my guest is so loathed right now, that I needed to personally fly him out to Buffalo because the WWE removed him from the touring schedule." At that point, the fans began booing relentlessly once they realized that Miz' guest was TJ Perkins. TJP made his way out to the stage, wearing a shirt that simply read "Victim" on the front of it. After shaking Miz' hand and taking a seat in the ring, TJP said that the past month has been the worst of his professional career, but it's also been a real eye-opener for him. "All this time, I thought that the WWE Universe wanted a superhero to look up to. Somebody who I would have idolized in my childhood, like a video game character who showed the world that good can overcome evil as long as you persevere. What I learned instead was that the WWE Universe only wants somebody who tells them that if you behave like a piece of human waste, you'll get what you want as long as you look good doing it." TJP and Miz both agreed that while their specific issues with Paige differ, they understand how volatile she is and the dangers that come with putting her at the forefront of SmackDown Live. "Thank you very much for your time, TJ. Right now, though, I must ask you and the entire world for one minute to myself, please." TJP stepped aside as Miz addressed the WWE Universe about Maryse's absence as of late. "For almost a decade now, Maryse has been the source of light in my life. She's the most incredible, wonderful, beautiful I've ever known, and soon, she'll be the mother of my child." TJP applauded the announcement of Maryse's pregnancy while the Buffalo crowd actually booed Miz. Seconds later, they're reactions turned to that of eruption when Paige's entrance music sounded. 'Princess Anarchist' marched down to the ring, standing across from TJP for the first time since their match two weeks ago. "... How.. dare... you?" asked an irate Miz to Paige, wondering if she even had a heart after interrupting somebody who just revealed to the world that he's about to become a father. "I don't care," said Paige. "I'm out here because this is one of the most disgusting images I've ever seen in this ring. A narcissist and a misogynist trying to gather sympathy and admiration from all of these people. The only thing that either of you deserve is my knee knocking out all of your teeth! I'm sure that the two of you are just thrilled by the fact that I didn't leave Backlash as the WWE Champion, but guess what? I've got a shot at becoming the number one contender tonight. So watch me as I prove the both of you wrong and take yet another step towards making history. And Miz, I wish nothing but the best of luck for your child considering who's going to be raising it." As Paige was leaving, Miz spouted his most shocking and appalling line to date. "And what would you know about raising a child?! You lost yours!" Paige stopped in her tracks, her jaw wide open as she glared at Miz. Even TJP appeared stunned in the background while Miz kept his same facial expression, having to own up to what he said. Paige had to hold back her tears while jumping towards Miz, striking him repeatedly in an act that no one could blame her for. Official had to hurry down to the ring to restrain Paige, who tried valiantly to free herself and continue her assault on 'The Awesome One' who, in that moment, was despised just as much as TJP.
MATCH: Trying to position himself comfortably in the title picture, Baron Corbin went one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes, who ended Corbin's undefeated streak back at WWE/NXT Unison. Rhodes was able to counter Deep Six into Cross Rhodes, picking up the victory to bounce back after his first round loss in the WWE Championship tournament.
SEGMENT: Backstage, Dean Ambrose was shown heading towards the ring when he came across Tyler Breeze's selfie stick resting on a table. "Breeze! Your stick thing is here! Breeze!" Ambrose called out. 'The Lunatic Fringe' then picked up the selfie stick for himself, very confused as to how it worked while he took it with him to the ring,
SEGMENT: The Iconic Duo walked into the office of SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon, once again poking fun at him since they viewed themselves as "untouchable" and immune from being removed from the Elimination Chamber match at Backlash, despite their involvement in AJ Lee and Emma's match at No Mercy on Saturday. Shane said that he made a decision on Billie Kay and Peyton Royce's punishment. "... I'm not going to remove either one of you from the Elimination Chamber," Shane said before Billie and Peyton both let out their laughter. "It's like we told him, isn't it?" Billie said before they shouted as one, "He can't touch us!" Shane then stated that while they're still going to be competing for the SmackDown Women's Championship, that doesn't mean they won't be punished. Tonight, they'll be competing in a 4-on-2 Handicap match against Becky Lynch, Allie, Kaitlyn and Alexa Bliss.
MATCH: After Dean Ambrose put down Zack Ryder, 'The Lunatic Fringe' picked up Tyler Breeze's selfie stick that he found backstage, Ambrose couldn't comprehend how the iPhone worked or why he was seeing his own reflection in the screen. That was then the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion walked down to the ring, angrily snatching his selfie stick from Ambrose. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" Breeze screamed at Ambrose. Breeze continuously poked Ambrose in the chest while berating him, which prompted Ambrose to deliver Dirty Deeds! 'Prince Pretty' remained motionless on the canvas while Ambrose headed up the entrance ramp.
SEGMENT: In the locker room area, Paige was shown sitting against a wall, trying not to cry after what The Miz said to her on Miz TV about her miscarriage. Becky Lynch then walked into the room, trying to comfort 'Princess Anarchist.' "Let Miz rot on his own, alright? Don't worry about him or what he said. You're one match away from being back in the WWE Title picture. So go prove him, TJ Perkins and everybody else who still doubts you wrong by proving that your past doesn't define who you are now." Becky patted Paige on her shoulder before leaving her to herself.
SEGMENT: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome... the NEW WWE Champion, Sami Zayn!" The Buffalo crowd went berserk as Zayn made his first entrance as the WWE Champion, 'The Underdog from the Underground' making sure to greet every fan that he could before heading into the ring. Zayn took a microphone, but was still practically speechless. It had already been four days since Backlash, but he still was unable to sum up into any words how he felt. "One month to the day at Backlash, I wrestled my final match in NXT. I didn't know what was going to happen to me after that, but I knew that the only logical step was for me to test myself and enter the Draft." Zayn was then bombarded with chants of, "You deserve it," which he pointed as ironic. "Because for the most part over the past month, I didn't believe that I deserved this. I felt like I still had something to prove coming out of NXT, but at the same time, I knew that I couldn't wait for another opportunity because who's to say it would've ever come? I needed to capitalize on this tournament, and now, if you ask me if I think I deserve to be WWE Champion... I say you're damn right I do!" Zayn then raised the WWE Title over his head before he was interrupted by Bobby Roode. 'The Glorious One' made his way into the ring, sarcastically congratulating Zayn before demanding an opportunity at the WWE Title. "You see, I've already got one piece of the puzzle in place because at Bad Blood, I am going to become the Universal Champion. I'm not stopping there, though, because if I'm going to hold the top prize on RAW, then I need SmackDown Live's top prize that you just happen to have on your shoulder right now." Zayn reminded Roode that two weeks ago, he put his spot in the Backlash tournament on the line against him. "I risked it all back then, and now, you're asking me to do the same thing again?" Zayn said that normally, Roode would be told to get in the back of the line for a title opportunity, but he'd be lying if he said that he didn't feel like he still had something to prove. "I've shown the WWE Universe that I can win this title, so now, I need to show them that I can hold onto it. Whenever you want your shot, Bobby, it's yours." After Roode shook Zayn's hand, he struck the champion with the microphone! Zayn went down as Roode picked up the championship, holding it up on the second rope. When Roode dropped back down onto the canvas, Zayn charged into him with a Helluva Kick! Zayn stood tall over Roode with the WWE Championship after promising 'The Glorious One' a shot at the gold in the future.
MATCH: The Iconic Duo faced their punishment for handing Emma the WWE Women's Championship when they were defeated by Alexa Bliss, Kaitlyn, Becky Lynch and Allie in a 4-on-2 Handicap match. Billie Kay carried Peyton Royce out of the ring after she was pinned by Allie, the latter standing tall in the ring with Becky Lynch. Kaitlyn exited the scene through the audience as soon as the bell rang, not allowing Alexa the opportunity to extract revenge for her loss at Backlash.
SEGMENT: In the ring, SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon brought out the following tag teams: The Usos, The Alpha Wolves, Tyson Kidd and Adrian Neville, Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno, The Shining Stars and PMA. While Shane put over all of the talent involved in SmackDown Live's tag team division, General Manager Kurt Angle walked down to the ring carrying the blue and silver SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Shane announced that at Judgment Day, the inaugural champions would be crowned in a Tag Team Turmoil featuring all six teams present in the ring. Primo and Epico took the titles out of Angle's hands, raising them high in the air before the other five teams got in their faces about it. That led to pushing, shoving and word exchanges among the six teams, Shane and Angle trying to calm the situation
MATCH: In a 12 Man Tag Team match featuring the six units competing for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at Judgment Day, Tyson Kidd, Adrian Neville, Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno and PMA were able to overcome The Usos, The Alpha Wolves and The Shining Stars after a Red Arrow to Epico. The SmackDown Tag Team Championships sat on a stand at ringside, every team eyeing the titles that they'll be gunning for on May 31st.
SEGMENT: Backstage, Baron Corbin was shown leaving the arena when he bumped into Samoa Joe, 'The Samoan Submission Machine' shoulder checking 'The Lone Wolf.' Joe glared at Corbin, scoffing at him before Corbin tried to turn him around. Joe was expecting Corbin's retaliation, answering back with quick left and right hand strikes. Corbin and Joe's brawl had to be contained by officials as the rivalry continues to heat up between the two of them.
MATCH: The three runner-ups in the WWE Championship tournament competed in a Triple Threat match with the winner going on to Judgment Day to challenge Sami Zayn for the gold. Paige had a Sleeper Hold applied onto CM Punk before John Cena lifted the both of them onto his shoulders for an Attitude Adjustment. Paige managed to slide off as Cena delivered the maneuver to only Punk. When Cena got to his feet, Paige drilled him with The Antithesis! "That's it! Paige is about to become number one contender!" Nigel McGuinness shouted before TJ Perkins walked out onto the stage. TJP slowly made his way towards the ringside arena, Paige taking her eye off of the prize and exiting the ring. As Paige was getting ready to confront TJP, The Miz rolled out from underneath the ring, creeping up behind Paige to plant her onto the ramp with a Skull Crushing Finale! Miz glanced down at Paige in disgust before leaving to the backstage area with TJP. Back in the ring, a dazed Cena rose to his feet, only to be hoisted onto Punk's shoulders for the Go To Sleep! Punk got the cover on Cena, winning the contest to become the number one contender. Punk will get his rematch with Zayn at Judgment Day, all while The Miz and TJP can gloat about the fact that they cost Paige a shot at the WWE Championship.

- The rematch is gonna happen at WWE Judgment Day at the Smackdown exclusive PPV with Zayn defending his newly won WWE Championship against one of the greatest WWE Champions of all time The Best in the World CM Punk. Honestly, I could not be anymore happier that Punk won the Triple Threat Match beating Paige and Cena to earn the right to become #1 Contender for the WWE Championship because Zayn/Punk definitely have unfinished business if you think about it. Zayn beat Punk back at Backlash in the WWE Championship Tournament Finals to become the new WWE Champion but also their match too was a classic. However, if these 2 are going to go at it again for the title then I can only hope that their rematch is even better than their first match at Backlash. Miz essentially costing Paige the WWE Championship well not just him but also TJP on top of it too it makes me wonder if Paige just may in fact be out of her league? I wonder where this leaves Cena? I wonder if this means Cena is going to go off to Hollywood for a bit and then come back by like SummerSlam?
- I knew it was only a matter of time before Baron Corbin and Samoa Joe would cross paths again and who would ever forget the rivalry these 2 had before the Brand Split ever became a reality? Now that it is a reality and both men are on the same show on Smackdown Live then we can truly find out once and for all just who the true Monster is here on Smackdown Live
- Tag Team Turmoil Match to determine the first ever Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions is a very great way to crown the first ever champions. However, that being said seeing the teams who will be involved in this: The Usos, The Alpha Wolves, Cesaro & Ohno, Neville & Kidd, The Shining Stars and PMA I know who I am picking as far as which team walks out the first ever Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions and that will be The Usos. The Usos are due for a title reign some may even say that they are overdue.
- Kidd & Neville, PMA and Cesaro & Ohno beat the team of The Usos, The Alpha Wolves and The Shining Stars in 12 Man Tag Team action just goes to show us that in Tag Team action these teams well the ones who won anyway are gaining momentum heading into Judgment Day. However, only one team can walk out of Judgment Day the first-ever Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions and in Tag Team Turmoil it is every team for themselves in that match. I am sure all the teams involved want to be champions but only one of them can assert dominance by becoming champions.
- Iconic's punishment ends up being a Handicap Match as the 2 of them had to face off against Allie, Becky Lynch, Kaitlyn and Alexa Bliss in a 4 on 2 Handicap Match. Of course Iconic stood no chance in this match I mean let's be frank the numbers game was 4 on 2 and not to mention the 4 other ladies who they were facing hate them too. However, I am surprised Allie, Becky Lynch, Kaitlyn and Alexa Bliss were all able to work together as a unit to beat Iconic well considering Iconic as well as the 4 of them are all in the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber Match to become the first ever Smackdown Live Women's Champion. I definitely would have expected the 4 of them to turn on each other and Iconic basically taking advantage of the situation but that didn't happen either. However, in the Elimination Chamber it is every woman for herself.
- Bobby Roode of course he wants a shot at the WWE Championship but the thing about it is is that Punk is already #1 Contender for the WWE Championship. Furthermore, that leaves Roode without a title shot here on Smackdown so he may as well go over to RAW and challenge for the WWE Universal Championship in the Elimination Chamber which he is already in. He should just stay on RAW.
- Ambrose beating Zack Ryder comes as no surprise because Ambrose before the Brand Split was on a major roll and now that he is here on Smackdown Live his roll continues with yet another win. I think it is safe to say that Ambrose is as hot as anyone in the WWE right now and hell he should be main eventing here on Smackdown but he isn't but as far as a future Dean Ambrose heel turn I can definitely see it coming especially with him being on Smackdown Live. Ambrose laying out the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Tyler Breeze basically just goes to show us that Ambrose may be in for a feud with Breeze.
- WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes beating Baron Corbin just means Rhodes may in fact be on a roll. I mean he has beaten Punk twice and then he goes on now to beat Corbin here all be it in a non title match but still Rhodes is probably as hot as anyone right now on the B show here on Team Blue on Smackdown. However, with Rhodes beating Corbin who will be able to stop Rhodes' title reign as the WWE Intercontinental Champion? Who will step up to Rhodes to become #1 Contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship?
- Wow Miz really hit Paige below the belt by bringing up the fact that at least he can have kids with Maryse unlike Paige who can't...that was really low even for Miz. However, at the same time Paige really did bring this on herself because she could have congratulated Miz on Maryse's pregnancy but she couldn't even do that and she tried to hit Miz below the belt. Miz just gave her what she had coming the way I see it and as for TJP I too sympathize with him. Think about it he is here on Smackdown Live and he isn't even getting opportunities on this show. They say Smackdown Live is supposed to be the Land of Opportunity right well then where are TJ's opportunities? He actually has a legitimate gripe if you think about it.

May 12th, 2014 | Episode 005 |"Bay Bay" MATCH: Monday Night RAW immediately kicked off with the qualifying match for the final spot in the Universal Championship Elimination Chamber match at Bad Blood. Despite the size difference between Finn Balor and Matanza Cueto, Balor was able to hold his own and provide 'The Monster' with his toughest challenge to date. After Balor delivered three Dropkicks into a corner against Matanza, Balor backed away for one more before he noticed Triple H walking down to ringside. Balor turned his attention away from Matanza, leaping over the top rope and onto Triple H with a Tope Con Hilo! Balor slid back into the ring, only to be ran into with a Clothesline from Matanza! 'The Monster' lifted Balor up for The Wrath of the Gods, slamming him onto the canvas before getting the three count. RAW General Manager Dario Cueto emerged from his office, a smile lighting up his face as his baby brother will now be the sixth and final superstar gunning for the Universal Championship in three weeks at Bad Blood.
SEGMENT: Backstage, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon was shown in her own office, watching a television monitor with an expression of defeat since Dario Cueto was seemingly getting what he wanted by positioning Matanza Cueto to potentially win the Universal Title. Seth Rollins then walked into the room, Stephanie initially ignoring him. "... You're just as responsible as anyone else for what happened to me at WrestleMania," Stephanie stated, Rollins surprise that she was still upset over what happened to her in New Orleans. "Yeah, Stephanie. I'm sorry that I couldn't overcome Shane McMahon, Dean Ambrose, The Rock, Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan so that I could save you from the most feared superstar of all-time, Allie," Rollins said sarcastically. Stephanie then said that even though Rollins just got what he wanted by watching Finn Balor lose his qualifying match, he shouldn't be expecting Triple H to help him at Bad Blood. "Just like you shouldn't expect my husband to bail him out tonight in his Triple Threat match against Kevin Owens and Bobby Roode.
MATCH: Out of the Tag Team Championship picture for the evening, The Revival managed to defeat The Addiction after catching Frankie Kazarian with The Shatter Machine. Scott Dawson took a microphone post-match, declaring that the 'Top Guys' will be waiting for the winner of tonight's WWE Tag Team Title match, no matter if it's The Wyatt Tribe or Wrestling Royalty.
SEGMENT: At this time, Mauro Ranallo and Corey Graves briefly acknowledged AJ Lee's absence, citing her mental health as the reason why she has been medically suspended by WWE. "The well-being of our superstars comes first, and being someone who understands the severity of mental health and the anguish it can cause someone, I wish nothing but the best for AJ in her road to recovery," Ranallo said.
SEGMENT: Backstage, Carmella was shown walking down a hallway when she looked to her side, seeing Big Cass with his left arm in a sling. "Are you kidding me? Were you not supposed to start training me this week? You mean to tell me I'm gonna have to wait even longer to get into a ring?" Carmella asked. Cass stated that Braun Strowman did quite a number on him, so while he won't be able to train Carmella any time soon, he did find someone who was more than happy to take on the task for him. "James..." Cass said to someone off-screen. James Ellsworth then walked into the picture, extending his hand out to a disgusted Carmella.
MATCH: In the first of three championship matches tonight, Wrestling Royalty finally had their long-awaited shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships. In the ring, Ted DiBiase charged into Pentagon after receiving the hot tag from Joe Hennig, knocking him off of the ring. DiBiase began unloading with repeated Clotheslines to Bray Wyatt before Pentagon swiped at his ankles from underneath the bottom rope. Wyatt pulled DiBiase into the center of the ring, pressing his hand against his neck. The official was occupied with the scene in the ring, not noticing Randy Orton entering through the audience to deliver an RKO to Pentagon! 'The Viper' hurried away from the ringside area, Maxine shouting at him while tending to the fallen Pentagon. In the ring, Wyatt was caught with a kick to the side of his head from Hennig, DiBiase being helped to his feet. DiBiase used whatever strength he had left to hoist Wyatt onto his shoulders, Hennig heading up top to complete The Doomsday Device! "No way! You're kidding me!" Corey Graves exclaimed when DiBiase got the cover on Wyatt for the three count! "They've done it! One year after relinquishing the WWE Tag Team Championships, Wrestling Royalty are back on top of the tag team division!" shouted an excited Mauro Ranallo over the raucous WWE Universe. DiBiase and Hennig were handed the championships that they held for over one full year, finally able to raise them high again after a tumultuous last few months. Many believed that DiBiase and Hennig's time had come and gone. They even began doubting themselves to the point where DiBiase contemplated retirement back in December. Now, on May 12th, 2014, Wrestling Royalty have become two-time WWE Tag Team Champions!
MATCH: Three of the six participants in the Elimination Chamber match at Bad Blood competed in a Triple Threat match to gain the upper-hand prior to their Universal Championship match. After Kevin Owens delivered the Pup-Up Powerbomb to Bobby Roode, Seth Rollins flew into 'The Prizefighter' with a springboard knee to the side of his head. Owens was knocked out of the ring, Rollins finishing off Roode with a Curb Stomp to get the victory.
SEGMENT: In the backstage area, Heath Slater was shown nonchalantly walking around the area, greeting every worker he came across. RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon then approached Slater, backed by a handful of security guards. When asked by Stephanie how he got into the building, Slater said that Randy Orton left the door open. "Heath, you can't just keep barging in like this. Dario and I have a show to run, so we can't keep dealing with your antics... but if you want another shot at a contract, then prove how badly you want it. Fly to London next week with whatever money you have left in your pocket, and bring your gear because you're going to have to earn this."
SEGMENT: 'The Boss' Sasha Banks made her way down to the ring for her Hardcore Championship match against Sofia Cortez, Sasha finally receiving the opportunity that she had been clamoring for. Sofia's entrance music sounded, but the defending champion didn't make her entrance. Cameras backstage showed Sofia laid out on the floor, official checking on her as they had no clue what happened to her. Back in the arena in Greensville, Emma's theme music hit. The WWE Women's Champion walked out onto the stage, holding a lead pipe to insinuate that it was her who took out Sofia. Emma told Sasha that everybody in the WWE Universe would not have even fathomed the idea of this picture, but she always knew it would happened. "All throughout our time in NXT, the entire world painted you out to be the women's division's next breakout star. You were the main attraction. You were in the main events. You were expected to enjoy immediate success upon your main roster debut, while everyone counted me out. Now look at us. I'm standing here as the WWE Women's Champion after retaining it in the main event last week, all while you were forced to take your 'talents' to the hardcore division." Emma said that both Sasha and Sofia need to understand that there's a reason why they were about to compete for the Hardcore Title and not the Women's Title. "And that's because neither of you belong in the same division as me. You two will have your little Hardcore Championship match someday, but tonight was my moment to remind the both of you that no matter, women's wrestling is and forever will be all. About. Me."
VIDEO PACKAGE: A montage of some of Batista's career highlights were shown, ranging from his 2005 Royal Rumble victory to every single one of his World Heavyweight and WWE Championship wins. One of the most decorated competitors in the history of WWE returns to in-ring action at Bad Blood to battle 'The Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman one-on-one.
ANNOUNCEMENT: After winning his Triple Threat match earlier tonight against Bobby Roode and Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins issued a challenge to Universal Champion Derrick Bateman for a non-title match next week in London, a challenge that has been accepted by 'The God of the New Era.'
MATCH: The main event spotlight shined on the United States Championship as Daniel Bryan put the gold on the line against Adam Cole. Towards the conclusion of the match, Cole inadvertently caught the official with a Superkick, Bryan then applying the Yes Lock to Cole, whose submission at that moment did not count. Michael Bennett ran down to the ring, attacking Bryan and pulling him off of Cole in a bizarre since the WWE Universe perceived it as Bennett helping out Cole. Bryan retaliated with a series of elbow strikes before sending Bennett out of the ring with a Clothesline. When Bryan turned around, he was struck in the forehead with The List of Jericho! "Chris Jericho just took out Daniel Bryan! What the hell?!" Mauro Ranallo shouted into his headset. Jericho exited the ring, he and Maria Kanellis bringing Bennett back up to his feet. In the ring, Cole sized up Bryan for a Superkick, successfully connecting with it. The official crawled towards the two superstars once Cole got the cover, the slow three count being made to crown a new champion. Cole rose to his feet, celebrating in an over-the-top manner while the official handed him the United States Championship. For the second time tonight, a championship changed hands amidst controversy, although in this instance, nobody could piece together why Jericho and Bennett intervened on Cole's behalf. Bennett and Maria raised Cole's arm while Jericho strapped the United States Title around his waist. Last week, Jericho spoke about creating an 'era' of his own to combat 'The New Era,' and it would appear that this was the result of his declaration. The gold that Bryan overcame near-retirement to capture at WrestleMania had just been taken away from him by the new alliance of Jericho, Bennett and the United States Champion, Adam Cole.

- Adam Cole in the main event becomes the new WWE United States Champion by beating Daniel Bryan all be it that he had help from Michael Bennett and Chris Jericho of all people. I have to wonder why Michael Bennett would help Adam Cole? Considering it was not all that long ago that these 2 were fighting to become #1 Contender for the WWE United States Championship that Bryan held. However, I still can't get over the fact that Chris Jericho screwed over Daniel Bryan like what was that about? However, Adam Cole wins his first singles gold since joining the main roster all be it controversially but Adam Cole is finally a champion here in WWE. So I have to ask if this is the start of a stable with Jericho, Cole and Bennett? Or just what is this?
- Seth Rollins beating Bobby Roode and Kevin Owens in a Triple Threat Match considering all 3 of these men will be in the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Universal Championship at Bad Blood and Rollins gets the win well by hook or crook. Rollins gains momentum heading into the Chamber but then again he got the job done on his own with no help from Triple H at all whatsoever. Maybe that may be a good thing in the sense that Rollins doesn't need Triple H or Stephanie and that career wise in the long run Rollins needs to go out on his own.
- Rollins challenging the WWE Universal Champion Bateman and the thing is both men are heels, so I wonder who the fans will cheer in this match?
- Video package of Batista's career, it makes me wonder if this match Batista is going to have with Strowman is his swansong here in WWE?
- WWE RAW Women's Champion Emma being the one who took out both the WWE Hardcore Champion Sofia Cortez and Sasha Banks...after that I can definitely see it leading to a Triple Threat Match for the WWE RAW Women's Championship at Bad Blood with Emma having to defend her title against both Sofia Cortez and Sasha Banks
- I wonder who Heath Slater will get to team with him? More importantly will Slater get a contract here on RAW?
- Wrestling Royalty become the new WWE RAW Tag Team Champions by beating The Wyatt Tribe...well all be it they had help from Randy Orton with Orton hitting an RKO on Pentagon while Wyatt gets distracted and DiBiase & Hennig took advantage. Orton had no business interfering in this match but then again after what Pentagon did to him Pentagon had to expect this but then again so did Wyatt. DiBiase & Hennig become 2-time WWE RAW Tag Team Champions and are on the top of the mountain once again in tag team wrestling especially here on RAW. Therefore, it makes me wonder if we are headed towards an Orton/Wyatt Tribe feud?
- Carmella will end up in the ring as a wrestler...it is only a matter of time and when she does she could become a potential WWE RAW Women's Champion
- AJ Lee I think she will be back after Bad Blood
- Matanza Cueto the RAW GM Dario Cueto's little brother qualifies for the Elimination Chamber...I would have thought that Reigns would have shown up during this match Matanza had with Balor but Triple H showing up and costing Balor the match...I can see this eventually leading to Triple H/Balor

May 14th, 2014 | Episode 005 | "Advocate"
SEGMENT: NXT kicked off with Paul Heyman standing in the ring along with his new client, Lars Sullivan. Heyman explained that throughout the last few years, he shifted his focus from searching far and wide for the most destructive forces in professional wrestling, to the most 'gifted' in-ring performers. "Just like the industry as a whole, I evolved in my scouting. That's where the likes of CM Punk, Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno and Hideo Itami came into play. You'd have a very difficult time finding more talented in-ring performers than those men... but what really brought me to the dance as an advocate was dominance. It was destruction. It was absolute chaos in the most raw manner possible. The minute I introduced Brock Lesnar to the masses over a decade ago, the WWE landscape was never the same again. THAT'S what I've been missing from my clientele. A supernatural freak who can tear through anyone and anything in his path. As soon as I walked into the Performance Center and laid my eyes on the monster standing before all of you... I knew I had found my new 'Beast.' Lars Sullivan is everything that the big men of today claim to be. You want the brute strength of Matanza Cueto? Lars Sullivan is standing right here! You want the destruction of Braun Strowman? Lars Sullivan is standing right here? The speed of Samoa Joe? Lars Sullivan is standing right here! The fearlessness of Baron Corbin? Lars! Freaking! Sullivan! Is standing right! Here!" Heyman guaranteed that sooner than later, the world will acknowledge Lars Sullivan as the NXT Champion, and there isn't anything that anybody can do to stop him.MATCH: In the third of four qualifying matches for the Number One Contenders match in two weeks, Ricochet was able to stun NXT Tag Team Champion Jinder Mahal by rolling him up into an inside cradle to score the victory. Ricochet headed up the entrance ramp, being joined by Uhaa Nation, who raised his arm while Mahal shouted at the official in Punjabi. SAnitY being barred from Full Sail Arena tonight paid dividends for Ricochet as he joins Drew McIntyre and Tye Dillinger in a Fatal Four Way match for a shot at Kyle O'Reilly's NXT Championship in Chicago. Next week, the final spot will be filled by either John Morrison or Kenny Omega.MATCH: Another shocking result occurred when the up and coming team of Performance Center trainees, Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss, managed to defeat The Lucha Dragons after a Powerbomb from Moss to Kalisto. Sabbatelli and Moss celebrated their upset win while Kalisto and Fenix sat against the ropes in the ring, The Lucha Dragons questioning what needed to be done on their part in order to get on track and rise in the ranks of the tag team division.MUSIC CREDIT: "Temple" by Tonight Alive off of their album, Underworld, serves as one of the official theme songs for NXT TakeOver: Chicago. Underworld is available now on iTunes and Spotify/MATCH: 'The King of Bros' Matt Riddle was able to extended his undefeated streak here on NXT by forcing Biff Busick to submit to the Bromission. While Riddle continued to draw the ire of some NXT Universe members, there were a select few in the audience who got behind him, chanting "Bro!" repeatedly while Riddle nodded his head to the rhythm of the chant.MATCH: After losing to Ember Moon two weeks, NXT Women's Champion Nicole Matthews could not afford another loss tonight to SAnitY member Nikki Cross. Despite not having any of her stablemates in her corner to assist her, Nikki was able to plant Nicole with the Swinging Fisherman's Neckbreaker to get the victory! "Just like Ember Moon, Nikki Cross has pinned the Women's Champion!" Michael Schiavello exclaimed on commentary as Nikki crawled out the ring, laughing maniacally while heading up towards the stage. Not only does Ember hold her claim to a future NXT Women's Title opportunity, but Nikki does now as well. Nicole has only one challenge left, and if she does not want to go 0 for 3 as the Women's Champion, she has to find a way to break her streak of bad luck and defeat Toni Storm in two weeks.

May 14th, 2014 | Episode 005 | "Rebel Heartache"
MATCH: The second round of the Cruiserweight Classic opened with an encounter between two of the UK's most vicious competitors, Mark Haskins and Jimmy Havoc. Not having SAnitY backing him this time, Havoc was forced to go in alone and throw everything he had at Haskins. Ultimately, Haskins was able to send Havoc crashing onto the canvas with an Avalanche Tiger Driver to score the victory. Haskins was not only able to put away a current NXT superstar, but he now advances to the quarter-finals to meet either Marty Scurll or Chris Sabin.MATCH: 'The Bruiserweight' collided with 'The Scott Supernova' in another international battle. Noam Dar taunted Pete Dunne towards the end of the contest, raising his pinkie finger in his face. Dunne responded by biting Dar's pinkie before leveling him in the side of his head with an elbow strike. Dunne followed up with The Bitter End, covering Dar to eliminate him from the Cruiserweight Classic. Dunne won't have to wait long to find out his next opponent as the upcoming main event would decide that.MATCH: Dueling chants of "Let's go, Roddy!" and "Johnny Wrestling!" engulfed the Full Sail Arena as Roderick Strong battled Johnny Gargano in the main event of the evening. Strong's End of Heartache was countered into a DDT, Gargano follow up on it with a Dropkick into a corner. Gargano had his Superkick blocked, but was able to turn a Knife Edge Chop from Strong into the Gargano Escape! Gargano had the hold cinched in, Strong fighting valiantly to reach the ropes. Gargano reeled back with every ounce of strength he had, forcing Strong to tap out! Gargano rose to his feet, every single fan in the arena giving both him and Strong a standing ovation for their performances. However, it's 'Johnny Wrestling' who will be moving on in the tournament to meet Pete Dunne with a trip to the semi-finals in the CFE Arena on June 18th on the line.

- If anyone can replace Brock Lesnar as Heyman's premier client it is definitely Lars Sullivan and Sullivan even reminds me so much of a young Brock Lesnar. Sullivan here in NXT especially with Heyman by his side can only be destined for greatness but then it begs the question of, where this leaves Hideo Itami?
- Ricochet beats one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions in Jinder Mahal and if anything I consider that an upset. I really consider that to be an upset given the fact that Jinder Mahal is a veteran here in WWE and he has been on the main roster. Ricochet is more or less a veteran here in NXT but then again with him beating one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions I would think it still puts him and his partner Uhaa Nation in contention for the NXT Tag Team Championships. Ricochet qualifying for the Fatal 4 Way with Tye Dillinger and Jinder Mahal's tag team partner the other half of the NXT Tag Team Champions Drew McIntyre...I think Ricochet has gotta be a favorite in the Fatal 4 Way Match to determine the next #1 Contender for the NXT Championship.
- Sabbatelli and Moss beating The Lucha Dragons...that definitely has to be considered an upset but then again where do The Lucha Dragons go from here as a tag team?
- Riddle beating Busick definitely was expected given that Riddle is a veteran here in NXT but then again Riddle has been picking up momentum as of late
- Nikki Cross of Sanity beating the NXT Women's Champion Nicole Matthews in the main event...now that definitely has to be a shock given the fact that Nikki Cross is relatively new on the scene but then Nikki beat Nicole all on her own with no help from her Sanity stablemates so that's gotta mean something but with her beating Matthews now that definitely has to mean Triple Threat Match for the NXT Women's Championship with Matthews having to defend her title against Moon and against Cross
