#TheCommittee
| After the airing of the signature WWE intro, cameras cut directly to the arena here in Calgary as Motorhead's "King of Kings" blared over the PA system. WWE COO, Triple H, and Commissioner, Kane, made their way down to the ring, not being accompanied by the rest of The Committee like usually. The two stepped into the ring as the WWE Universe let them have it with the boos. Hunter said that this is going to be a historic week for WWE because for the first time ever, RAW, NXT and SmackDown will be all be broadcasted live in the same week. "Monday Night RAW tonight here in Calgary. NXT Take Over this Wednesday night on WWE.com, and SmackDown live Thursday night on SyFy. And who do you all have to thank for this action-packed week? The Committee," said Hunter. He then stated that there is one superstar in particular who, for some reason, is not thankful for The Committee. "Last week, I extended a personal invitation to Dolph Ziggler to join us. Not only did he decline, but he lashed out at me, acting as if he were starting some sort of revolution. Dolph, you don't get to have the last word against me. Get out here now," said Triple H, calling the 'Show Off' out to the ring. Ziggler's entrance music hit seconds later to a massive ovation as he made his way down to the ring, glaring at both Hunter and Kane. "I don't think you understand just how big of an opportunity you are throwing away, Dolph. Let's face it. Your career is going nowhere. You lost the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. You lost your rematch against Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules. You lost the number one contenders Battle Royal last week. You're not even in the King of the Ring tournament. First, it's the losses. Then, you lose your fanbase. You lose your credibility. And before you know it, you lose your spot on the roster. It happens to a countless amount of people, but it doesn't have to happen to you. This is your final chance, Dolph. Join The Committee, or else...." stated Hunter, trying to intimidate Ziggler. "You're right about one thing, Hunter. Losing has been a habit of mine as of late. However, in case you didn't see, I defeated Luke Harper on SmackDown. I'm not going anywhere. And to be honest, I would rather lose match upon match and even job than lose my dignity by selling out and joining The Committee. It's not about the fame, fortune or power for me. This has always been about coming out to this ring each and every week and doing what I have dreamed of my entire life. I've gotten to the mountain top before with just their support...." said Ziggler while pointing at the audience. "....and I'll do it again. Go extend your invitation to someone who is just as pathetic as every member of The Committee, including yourself." The WWE Universe popped for Ziggler's remark as Hunter smirked before turning to Kane, the two speaking for a few seconds. "Fine, Dolph. You don't want to join The Committee? That's all well and good. I think you're an idiot for throwing this opportunity away, but it doesn't upset me. What does upset me, however, is the fact that you think you can just stand there and badmouth me. I am your boss, Dolph. You want to talk about being a former WWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion? The only reason that you have those accolades under your belt is because I wasn't around to stop you, just like I wasn't around to stop guys like CM Punk and Wade Barrett from achieving undeserving success. One way or another, you're going to learn to not only respect The Committee, but understand that we are what is best for business. And your punishment begins right now when you go one-on-one with the Commissioner himself, Kane!" Triple H exited the ring as Kane sported a sadistic grin while removing his blazer and dress shirt. Ziggler goes up against Kane, next on RAW!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #ZigglervsKane | DOLPH ZIGGLER DEF. KANE: In the words of Triple H, this was Dolph Ziggler's "punishment' for once again refusing to join The Committee. The Commissioner brutalized Ziggler for much of the match, wanting to teach him a lesson in respect. As Kane was looking to deliver a Chokeslam, Ziggler managed to counter it into a DDT. Kane staggered to his feet, only to be brought down with a Zig Zag, giving Ziggler the victory!
The WWE Universe erupted as Dolph Ziggler slid out of the ring following the match, his arm being raised in victory by the official. In what was supposed to be "punishment" by The Committee, Ziggler ended up getting the win against the Commissioner, Kane. Triple H was shown in his office, watching a television monitor with a look of disdain. His plan backfired and Dolph Ziggler has managed to one-up The Committee!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #TenManTag | Returning to Monday Night RAW, Triple H was shown in his office, still upset with the fact that Dolph Ziggler managed to defeat the Commissioner, Kane just moments ago. Speaking of Ziggler, the 'Show Off' barged into the room, getting into Hunter's face. "Not what you were looking for, right? And to be honest, I want more. If you're going to punish me, then throw everything you've got at me. Why not put me against the man who crushed my dream last week, Bray Wyatt? Huh?!" shouted Ziggler while Hunter was fuming. Before 'The Game' could respond, however, Ziggler added something else. "But if I win, you put me in the the WWE Championship match at King of the Ring," said Ziggler. "....Fine. You got it. And it's going to be a No Disqualifications match" said Triple H, the audience popping as Ziggler smirked before leaving the room.
KOFI KINGSTON, R-TRUTH, SANTINO MARELLA AND LOS MATADORES W/ EL TORITO VS. 3MB, ZACK RYDER AND JUSTIN GABRIEL ENDED IN A NO CONTEST: An opportunity for all ten men in this match to shine and gain some much needed momentum. The WWE Universe got behind the face unit, Diego making the hot tag to Kofi Kingston at around the four minute mark. As Kingston was preparing to hit to Boom Drop onto Drew McIntyre, the entrance music of Rusev hit. The 'Super Athlete,' who had not been seen since WrestleMania, marched down to the ring as Lana followed him. Kingston, as well as everyone else in the match, turned their attention to Rusev as he stepped into the ring. He delivered a Clothesline to both Kingston and McIntyre before Los Matadores tried to intervene. Rusev pushed both men away before hitting Diego with a spinning heel kick. He grabbed Fernando by his neck, throwing him over the top rope. The bell was ringing nonstop at that point as the official had ruled the bout a no contest. Justin Gabriel launched himself off the top rope, but Rusev caught him and smashed his back over his knee. R-Truth turned Rusev around and was able to get a few strikes in, but none affected the 'Super Athlete.' Rusev hit Truth with a Superkick before turning Santino Marella stepped into the ring, taking the Cobra and striking Rusev in the neck with it. Rusev did not flinch at all as Santino tried again to strike with the Cobra, but Rusev grabbed his arm. Santino was planted with a Belly-to-Belly suplex before Rusev pulled Kingston back into the center of the ring. Zack Ryder, Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal all left up the entrance ramp, not wanting any part of Rusev's rampage. Rusev stepped on Kofi's back before applying the Accolade. While Rusev had the hold in, Lana stepped into the ring with a microphone. "America....Canada....it is all the same. Pathetic nations that fail to acknowledge Mother Russia as the superior land. You don't believe me? Look at the destruction," said Lana as Rusev released the Accolade while only standing over Kingston, but Truth, Santino, Gabriel and Los Matadores. "The disrespect ends here. Rusev is back, and he...will....CRUSH!" Rusev's music hit once again as the Russian flag dropped from the ceiling, he and Lana making an emphatic statement in their return to WWE.
A graphic was shown for one of tonight's featured matches. One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Randy Orton, goes one-on-one with CM Punk! That match is still to come tonight, live on RAW!

| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #RhodesvsMiz | CODY RHODES DEF. THE MIZ IN A KING OF THE RING FIRST ROUND MATCH: The 2013 King of the Ring tournament is no officially underway! Last Friday on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes was a guest on Miz TV, getting into an altercation that Miz managed to escape. As the 'Awesome One' was looking to connect with a Skull Crushing Finale, Rhodes managed to roll out of it. Rhodes dodged a Clothesline from Miz as he sringboarded off of the second rope and delivered the Disaster Kick! Rhodes then grabbed the groggy Miz, planting him with Cross Rhodes to get the win.
Cody Rhodes stood to his feet as the audience in Calgary applauded him for his successful outing in the first match of the King of the Ring tournament. The updated bracket was shown as Rhodes advances to the Quarterfinals next week, where he will meet the winner of the match later tonight between Jerry Lawler and Luke Harper. "Rhodes is out to prove that he is the best wrestler in the world and the next face of WWE. If he wins King of the Ring, I don't think there will any doubt that he is the best going today," said John Bradshaw Layfield as Rhodes made his way up the entrance ramp. "Well, we just saw on King of the Ring first round match, and now it's time for me to get ready for mine," said Jerry Lawler as he stood up from his chair and left the announce table. After Cole wished Lawler luck, Bradshaw said that he's going to get eaten alive by Luke Harper.
Backstage, Renee Young was standing by with Tyson Kidd and Natalya. The two stepped into the picture as Renee asked Kidd for his thoughts on his King of the Ring match tonight against the United States Champion, Roman Reigns. "Yeah, it wasn't a big deal. Anyone with even a margin of a brain would have known that I was going to defeat Roman Reigns. Now, I just gotta sick back and wait to see who advances and has the honor of submitting to the greatest professional wrestler in the world," said Kidd. "...Um...Tyson, the match hasn't even happened yet," said Renee. "I thought you told this interview was going to air after my match?" asked Kidd to his wife, Natalya. "You know what? It doesn't matter because the FACT of the matter is that I'm going to embarrass Roman Reigns out there in front of the 'Kiddens' and send a message to the rest of the superstars in the tournament because everyone knows that it's a given that Tyson Kidd is going to become the next King of the Ring. FACT!" said Kidd. "And I'll by stand by my husband the entire way. After all, my uncle, Bret Hart, was a two-time King of the Ring winner, so it's only fitting that Tyson returns the crown to the Harts," said Natalya. "Yeah, but, Nattie. No one cares about Bret anymore, nor do they remember him winning King of the Ring. There were no televisions in the 60s. But everyone is going to see me win King of the Ring. FACT! Let's go," said Kidd as he grabbed Natalya's hand, leaving the interview set. "I thought Bret won in '91 and '93?" said JBL. "He did," added Cole.
Cutting to another camera, Daniel Bryan was shown walking down a corridor. The World Heavyweight Champion looks for answers from Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno, next live on RAW!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #DanielBryan | A promo was shown for a special live edition of SmackDown, this Thursday night on SyFy.
At this time, the entrance music of Daniel Bryan hit as the WWE Universe came unglued. The World Heavyweight Champion made his way down to the ring, shouting "Yes!" along with the sea of WWE fans in Calgary. Once in the ring, Bryan took a microphone and said that this is an interesting time in WWE. "Years ago, I would wrestle everywhere that I possibly could along with other young, hungry and passionate guys who had the same aspirations as I did. We all wanted to get to the WWE and make a name for ourselves. And now, it seems like the old landscape of independent wrestling is now the landscape of WWE. Guys like myself, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Luke Harper who you see on RAW and SmackDown every week. Guys in NXT like Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Adam Cole and The Alpha Wolves. Guys like KENTA and Prince Devitt, who made their first WWE appearance at WrestleMania despite not yet stepping into a WWE ring. Women like Paige, Emma and Bayley all faced the same hardships as everyone else I mentioned. Hell, NXT trainer Sara Del Rey is someone whose entire career I watched unfold before my very eyes. At one point, we were all labeled as the future of the wrestling industry, but I think it's safe to say that we are the present of the WWE," said Bryan as the crowd applauded. "There's two guys who I purposely did not mention. Their names are Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno..." said the World Heavyweight Champion as boos emerged for the mention of the two 'Paul Heyman Guys.' "Cesaro and Ohno are two of the hardest working men I've met in my life. They scratched and clawed their way up the ladder. Like myself, Cesaro was even released from the WWE years ago. Did that stop him? No. He continued to show why he is one of the best in the world and found his way back here. Ohno was on the verge of being cut while in NXT because some people didn't believe that he was worth the time. So what did he do? He busted his ass in and out of this ring, proved that he belongs here and is now a WWE superstar. I can't commend Ohno and Cesaro enough, which is why I can't help but ask myself, 'Why? Why did they ambush me on SmackDown last Friday?' Instead of continuing to wonder, I'm going to get the answers that I've been looking for. Cesaro, Ohno, get out here now." After a few seconds of silence, Ohno and Cesaro made their way out to the stage along with their manager, Paul Heyman. The three stepped into the ring as Heyman took a microphone. "No. You don't get to speak, Paul. I want to hear from them," said Bryan. "Oh, don't worry, Daniel. You'll get to hear from my clients soon enough, but right now, you're going to hear from me. You do make a valid point when you say that the past darlings of the independent scene are making their way to the top of the WWE. No one ever doubted that it would happen, and quite frankly, I'm glad to see it happen. Because these two gentlemen standing beside me, Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno, are leading this movement. And just for the record, these two men did not sell out, which is all that I've bee hearing from everyone who owns a keyboard and half of a brain. "Really? They didn't sell out? That's funny because the Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno who I've known for years always talked about how they were in this industry for all of the right reasons. Now, I have to ask them why they're in this business because I'm just not sure anymore. You know why I'm here, Paul? I'm not just doing this for myself. I'm doing this to prove that if you have a dream and you work your ass off, you can make it! I'm doing this for everyone who I came up with in the independents who were not fortunate enough to make it to the WWE. Someone like Nigel McGuinness, who I had to watch be denied his dream while I was given the chance to live mine! That is why I step into this ring each and every night! And do you know what I'm most proud of about my success in WWE? It's the fact that I was able to do it all without having to sell out and put my career in your hands, Paul!" shouted Bryan. Ohno then took the microphone from Heyman, telling Bryan that he and Cesaro didn't sell out. "Don't lie to yourself, Bryan. If you were given the opportunity to have Paul Heyman manage your career, you would have taken it in a heartbeat. EVERYONE who we came up with would have done the same and you know it," said Ohno. "The guys who I call my friends in this industry have more integrity than that, Kassius. But now that I have your attention, I'll go ahead and ask my original question. Why did the two of you attack me on SmackDown?" asked Bryan. Cesaro took the microphone and said that they did so in order to make a statement to the world. "Along with Brock Lesnar, we put on the most dominant performance in WWE history. After that, what happened? We were eliminated from last week's Battle Royal and were seemingly out of the spotlight. Ohno and I refuse to be afterthoughts, so when we saw that opportunity to make our voices be heard, we took it. We got your attention, and now, we want your championship," said Cesaro. "You two want opportunities at the World Heavyweight Championship? All you had to do was ask because I know better than anyone in that locker just how deserving you guys are, despite what you two have become. So here's what I'm going to do. Show up to King of the Ring, be ready to fight and I will put the World Heavyweight Title on the line in a Triple Threat match." The WWE Universe went wild as Bryan laid the challenge out to Cesaro and Ohno. The two of them briefly spoke with Paul Heyman, who accepted the challenge on their behalf. "I look forward to King of the Ring as I will have the World Heavyweight Champion in my clientele, whether it be Cesaro or Ohno." Heyman dropped his microphone as he and his clients made their way out of the ring. Daniel Bryan, Kassius Ohno and Antonio Cesaro meet in a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship in Chicago at King of the Ring!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #ReignsvsKidd | Returning to Monday Night RAW, a recap of the previous segment was shown as we learned that at King of the Ring, Daniel Bryan will put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno in a Triple Threat match. "Those three men are no strangers to the city of Chicago and on June 16th, they're going to tear the house down at King of the Ring," said John Bradshaw Layfield. "But, John. How wise is it for Bryan to step into a match where his two opponents are tag team partners?" asked Cole. "It's not wise at all. That's why in three weeks, we're gonna have ourselves a new World Heavyweight Champion in either Cesaro of Ohno and I hope that it's the latter. Not that damn traitor!" said Bradshaw, still upset over Cesaro betraying God's Gifts back in February. Cole then mentioned that we could see two Triple Threat matches takes place at King of the Ring if Dolph Ziggler can defeat Bray Wyatt tonight and earn a spot in the WWE Championship match.
UNITED STATES CHAMPION ROMAN REIGNS DEF. TYSON KIDD W/ NATALYA IN A KING OF THE RING FIRST ROUND MATCH: Both Tyson Kidd and the United States Champion, Roman Reigns, were looking to join Cody Rhodes as the second superstar to advance to the Quarterfinals of the King of the Ring tournament. As Kidd was looking to apply the Sharpshooter, Reigns kicked him away into a corner. Kidd held his lower back as he called for Natalya to check on him. While she didn't want to comply with Kidd's orders, she ultimately did so and tended to her husband. Reigns then charged towards Kidd as he moved out of harm's way, the 'One Am Army' inadvertently knocking Natalya off of the ring apron. Natalya fell onto the floor as Reigns stopped for a moment, wanting to check on her. However, Kidd came up behind Reigns and rolled him up, but was only able to get a two count. Kidd then hit Reigns with an Enziguri, fending off Reigns. Kidd stepped out onto the ring apron, waiting for his opportunity to springboard off of the top rope. Kidd looked over his shoulder, noticing that Natalya was still on the floor, holding her ankle. "Get up. Walk it off," said Kidd to his wife. He then springboarded off of the top rope, but was caught with a Spear in mid-air! Reigns got the cover on Kidd, picking up the win.
A huge ovation emerged for Roman Reigns as the 'One Man Army' stood to his feet, being handed back his United States Championship. With this victory, Reigns now advances to the Quarterfinals of the King of the Ring tournament and will challenge the winner of Rob Van Dam and Alberto Del Rio's match, which takes place this Thursday night on a special live edition of SmackDown. Reigns made his way up the entrance ramp as Kidd slid out to ringside, holding his ribs while looking down at Natalya, who was still holding her ankle after falling off of the apron. Kidd didn't even attempt to aid his wife as he left her at ringside, leaving to the backstage. "Tyson just left his own wife to help herself up," said Michael Cole, John Bradshaw Layfield saying that he's done far worse things to his ex-wives. "They'll be fine."
Backstage, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were shown in their office as the latter said that Divas Champion, AJ Lee, should be arriving to the arena at any second now. "You sure you want to go about this situation like this?" asked Hunter, Stephanie responding that she has to. "Never again will any Diva or Superstar do what she and Paige did at Extreme Rules. And while we're on that, are you sure about tonight's main event being a No Disqualifications match? What if Bray and Dolph do something just as irresponsible?" asked Stephanie. "Ziggler isn't going to last out there. It'll be over before it can even begin. That aggression and violence that Bray Wyatt showed me at the Royal Rumble is something else. I'm not a fan of his and I never will be after what he did to our family, but if I need someone to take out Dolph Ziggler once and for all, there's probably no one better," said Triple H. Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble, along with the wheelchair-bound Derrick Bateman, walked into the room. "Ma'am, AJ's here," said Mercury as Stephanie left the room with he and Noble. Bateman and Hunter were left in the office, Mr. Money in the Bank staring a hole through the COO. "In an industry where there's big, strong and tough college-dropout meatheads all over the place, you gave me the Cruiserweight division for security," said Bateman.
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #AJLee | Returning to Monday Night RAW, a video package was shown to recap the unforgettable Last Diva Standing match from Extreme Rules eight nights ago. Divas Champion, AJ Lee, and Paige competed in a match that saw steel chairs, tables, thumbtacks and a barbed wire bat all come into play, unprecedented for the Divas division. Ultimately, AJ would come out on top and remain the Divas Champion, but neither she, Paige, the Divas division or the WWE as a whole would ever be the same again.
Cutting to the arena in Calgary, the entrance music of AJ Lee hit to a huge response due to the fans being appreciative for what she put herself through at Extreme Rules. AJ stepped out onto the stage, making an appearance for the first time since the historical bout. Rather than skipping to the ring like normally, AJ slowly walked with a serious expression on her face. She stepped into the ring, her music fading out while the WWE Universe continued to applaud her. AJ remained silent for a bit as she looked out into the audience, perhaps still emotionally affected by what she and Paige did to each other. AJ held the microphone close to her face, trying to speak, but not finding the words that she was looking for. Before she could begin speaking, the entrance music of Stephanie McMahon hit as she made her way out to a chorus of boos. Stephanie, who was accompanied by AJ's best friend, Kaitlyn, walked to the ring, taking a microphone and confronting AJ. "Before you say a single word, I needed to come out here and tell you to your face how disappointed I am in you. We in The Committee made you Divas Champion. You can take the credit for it all that you want, AJ, but you know that it was me who had the idea of you stabbing Paige in the back. You're living your dream because of me, and you how do you repay me? You stooped down to Paige's level at Extreme Rules and put not only yourself, but this company in danger. Sponsors were ready to drop us. Parents called the following morning, asking how we could possibly endorse violence on a family show. My father, the Chairman of this company, had to publicly discipline me on SmackDown and I was humiliated," said Stephanie before AJ finally spoke out. "And you think I give a damn?!? You have no idea what I went through at Extreme Rules! I wasn't thinking about you or your company! I was scared. Scared for not just my career, but for my life because during the Last Diva Standing match, I thought that I was going to die! I legitimately believed that Paige was going to kill me in this ring! I had barbed wire and thumbtacks piercing my skin! My body was beaten and battered! Paige brought lighter fluid and matches into the ring! She was going to kill me!" screamed AJ. "But she didn't. Paige hasn't been seen since Extreme Rules and I hope that I never have to see her ghostly face ever again. I expected her to be remorseless, but not you. You are the Divas Champion, AJ! And along with that, you represent The Committee and I expect you to do so from this point on with integrity. Prove that you are the bigger woman in this situation and apologize to the world for your actions at Extreme Rules," said Stephanie. "Apologize? You know, 'Boss Lady,' I don't quite get it. Are you upset because I broke the WWE's policies when it comes to violence, or are you just upset because in one match, I got more attention than you have in your entire life?" asked AJ. ".....Listen to me, you ungrateful, little bitch! You owe every bit of your success to me! I made you, AJ, and I damn sure can break you! I didn't ask you to apologize. I ordered you to!" stated the irate Stephanie. "I went through hell and back eight nights ago. Steel chairs, thumbtacks and barbed wire didn't keep me down, so go ahead, Stephanie. Break me because I'd love to see you try," said AJ before throwing down her microphone. "Come on, Kaitlyn. We're leaving," said the Divas Champion as she walked towards the ropes. While AJ was preparing to leave, Kaitlyn did not move from Stephanie's side. AJ stared at her best friend for a bit before stepping back into the ring. When AJ tried to walk towards Kaitlyn, she was struck with a Spear! "Oh my God!" said Michael Cole as Kaitlyn stared down at AJ, Stephanie smiling from ear to ear. "No, AJ. You're wrong. You didn't go through hell at Extreme Rules, but you're about to. Not only am I officially removing you from The Committee, but at King of the Ring, you're going to defend the Divas Championship against the true face of the Divas division and my handpicked champion, Kaitlyn!" Stephanie raised Kaitlyn's arm as the two stood tall over AJ Lee, the WWE Universe booing relentlessly.
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #LawlervsHarper | Returning to the broadcast, a recap of the previous segment was shown. In a shocking turn of events, Kaitlyn turned on her best friend, AJ Lee, right before Stephanie McMahon officially kicked the Divas Champion out of The Committee. Along with that, Kaitlyn will challenge AJ for the Divas Championship at King of the Ring. "All of AJ's actions over the past month are coming back to get her. She turned on Paige to become Divas Champion, and now, her best friend did the same thing to her and very well could take her title at King of the Ring," said John Bradshaw Layfield.
LUKE HARPER DEF. JERRY 'THE KING' LAWLER IN A KING OF THE RING FIRST ROUND MATCH: The chance for Jerry 'The King' Lawler to have one final shot at glory was seemingly gone in an instant as he went up against the behemoth, Luke Harper. Lawler was able to get a glimmer of hope towards the finish, taking Harper down with a Bulldog. Lawler then stepped onto the second rope, looking to drop a fist. Harper, however, got to his feet and pulled Lawler off of the second rope. When Lawler got to his feet, Harper connected with a Discus Clothesline, covering him to pick up the win.
Luke Harper's cold eyes stared at the camera following the sound of the bell as he was announced as the winner. With this victory, Harper will be moving on to the Quarterfinals next week to meet last year's King of the Ring winner, Cody Rhodes. Harper stood to his feet as he stared down at Lawler, the signature of The Wyatt Family soon hitting. Initially, it was thought the signature signaled the exit of Harper, but when the lights re-emerged, we saw that Harper was now joined by Erick Rowan and the number one contender for the WWE Championship, Bray Wyatt. Wyatt had microphone in his hands, laughing as Lawler tried to get to his feet. "Sad, ain't it? The outdated son selfishly wanted one more chance to bask in his vanity.....but as he crawls on his knees, his skin and bones turn to dust as the throne escapes him. Our throne, that is. Harper....Rowan.....one of them takes the crown of thorns and claims the kingdom, while.....haha.....I clam the heavens at King of the Ring! The mighty treasure becomes my very own when I vanquish the most selfish and hypocritical being roaming the land, John Cena, and become WWE Champion! Jerry......you don't to get to watch my family and me rule the world, and that's because you refused to save yourself and follow....the buzzards." Wyatt then dropped his microphone and picked Lawler up, placing him in position for Sister Abigail. "No, Bray!" said Michael Cole as Wyatt looked out into the audience, laughing and sticking his tongue with his eyes wide open. Suddenly, Dolph Ziggler came running into the ring, going after Wyatt and the rest of The Wyatt Family. Ziggler was able to hold his own until Rowan rammed him into a corner, allowing Harper and Wyatt to get their own shots in. Wyatt pulled Ziggler into the center of the ring, delivering Sister Abigail. Wyatt stood on both knees as he looked down at Ziggler, laying out the man who he meets later tonight in a match that could drastically change the main event at King of the Ring.

| #PunkvsOrton | CM PUNK W/ WADE BARRETT DEF. WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPION RANDY ORTON W/ BATISTA, DERRICK BATEMAN AND J&J SECURITY VIA DISQUALIFICATION: A rematch from WrestleMania XXVII closed out the second hour of action here on Monday Night RAW. This match came as a result of the events on SmackDown last Friday, where a match between Batista and Wade Barrett ended in a disqualification after interference from Randy Orton and CM Punk. As Punk was motioning for the Go To Sleep, Batista grabbed Punk's leg and pulled him out of the ring, causing another disqualification.
The WWE Universe booed heavily as the match was ruled a disqualification, similar to Wade Barrett and Batista's encounter from SmackDown. CM Punk and Barrett fended off Batista and J&J Security before turning their attention to wheelchair-bounded Mr. Money in the Bank, Derrick Bateman. Bateman tried to wheel himself up the entrance ramp, but Punk managed to get a hold of his chair. "Let me go! I am innocent!" shouted Bateman as Barrett removed him from the wheelchair and rolled him into the ring. Bateman could not even stand as he tried to crawl away, but Punk brought him to his feet. The 'Best in the World' placed Bateman on his shoulders, looking to deliver a Go To Sleep as the audience went wild. Suddenly, Randy Orton struck Punk in the back with a steel chair as Batista took Barrett down with a Clothesline. Orton struck away onto Punk with repeated chair shots before handing it off to Batista, who did the same to Barrett. Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble assisted Bateman out of the ring, placing him back in his wheelchair. Orton then brought Punk up to his feet, planting him with an RKO onto the steel chair! The Calgary audience was irate as Orton and Batista stood tall in the ring with their WWE Tag Team Championships, The Committee finally getting the upper hand against Punk and Barrett.

| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #RollinsvsRyback | Returning to Monday Night RAW, Jerry 'The King' Lawler was shown rejoining Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield at the announce table. "How are you feeling?" asked Cole to his broadcast partner. "Well, I've definitely felt better. Luke Harper's Clothesline did a number on me, but I'll be honest and say that the most frightening part of my night came afterwards. I'm just thankful that Dolph Ziggler showed up when I did and I hope, I sincerely hope, that he takes out Bray Wyatt tonight," said Lawler.
INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION SETH ROLLINS DEF. RYBACK IN A KING OF THE RING FIRST ROUND MATCH: During Seth Rollins' entrance, Michael Cole stated that the Intercontinental Champion may be the most despised man in all of WWE today after his actions last week against the Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels. Rollins had to forget about last week's events for a moment, however, as he went up against the destructive Ryback in a King of the Ring first round match, the fourth this evening. As Ryback had Rollins in position foa Gorilla Press, the Intercontinental Champion managed to counter it into a DDT. When Ryback got to his feet, Rollins connected with Sweet Chin Music! The WWE Universe booed relentlessly as Rollins mocked the 'Heartbreak Kid' by doing his signature pose. Rollins approached a corner, holding onto the top rope while stomping his foot repeatedly. "The amount of disrespect on the part of Seth Rollins is sickening," said Jerry Lawler. When Rollins was finished 'tuning up the band,' he struck Ryback with the Curb Stomp, covering him to get the victory.
Seth Rollins stood to his feet as he took back his Intercontinental Championship, also taking a microphone while he was it. "Oh come on now. I can't be the only one who sees the irony in a Canadian audience booing me for attacking Shawn Michaels. Maybe it's not even that you people like Shawn. Maybe, you all are upset that I did last week what your hero, Bret Hart, could never do, and that was lay out the 'Heartbreak Kid,'" said Rollins, generating even more heat from the crowd. "The list of superstars that fall at my feet is only expanding by the week. John Cena. The Rock. Chris Jericho. Shawn Michaels. Tonight, it was Ryback, and going forward, it's going to be anyone who steps in my way in the King of the Ring tournament. On June 16th, I take my rightful spot on the throne and I will go on to SummerSlam to become WWE or World Heavyweight Champion. I'm not just destined to become the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all-time. I'm going to become to become the greatest that ever lived and there isn't a damn thing that any of you people or your heroes can do to stop me." Rollins threw the microphone down as he stepped onto the second rope, raising the Intercontinental Championship high in the air after sending a message to everyone else who remains in the King of the Ring tournament.
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Bray Wyatt takes on Dolph Ziggler in a No Disqualifications match, and if Ziggler manages to win, he will be added to the WWE Championship match at King of the Ring!

| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #NXTShowcase | NXT CHAMPION ADAM COLE DEF. TITUS O'NEIL IN A NXT SHOWCASE MATCH: The final NXT Showcase match to promote this Wednesday's NXT TakeOver special, which will be broadcasted live on WWE.com. The NXT Champion, Adam Cole, went up against a man who got his start on NXT as well, Titus O'Neil. After Titus inadvertently rammed his chest into a turnbuckle, Cole locked his arms around his waist and delivered the Florida Key to pick up the victory.
A very solid response emerged for Adam Cole as the NXT Champion was handed back his title, celebrating his victory in his very first match on Monday Night RAW. "This coming Wednesday on WWE.com, that young man puts the NXT Title on the line against another hungry competitor, Sami Zayn. There is so much more action lined up for the night, however. Emma puts the NXT Women's Championship up for grabs against Sasha Banks. An open challenge has been laid out to any team in the world by the NXT Tag Team Champions, The Alpha Wolves. Enzo Amore goes one-on-one with the brash and arrogant Michael Bennett, with the services of Maria Kanellis at stake. Adrian Neville and Sir Kenneth Cameron's rivalry will finally be settled in a King of the Ring first round match. And a bit of breaking news, ladies and gentlemen. One of the greatest broadcast commentators in WWE history, good 'ol J.R., Jim Ross, will be calling the action from Full Sail University. For every member of the WWE Universe, NXT TakeOver is something that you cannot miss!" said Michael Cole, promoting NXT's huge event in two nights.
Backstage, Shinedown's "The Energy" played as bumper music while Dolph Ziggler was shown making his way towards the ring. He meets Bray Wyatt in a No Disqualifications match, and if he wins, he will be added to the WWE Championship match at King of the Ring! It's our main event and it's coming up next on RAW!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #WyattvsZiggler | A promo was shown for King of the Ring, live Sunday June 16th, only on Pay-Per-View.
Prior to the start of the main event, the commentary trio promoted this Thursday's live edition of SmackDown. Three more King of the Ring tournament matches take place as Alberto Del Rio takes on Rob Van Dam, Sheamus battles Erick Rowan, and Dean Ambrose, who has his contract at stake in this tournament, goes up against Damien Sandow. Also, the WWE Champion, John Cena, will be present for the first time since Extreme Rules.
BRAY WYATT DEF. DOLPH ZIGGLER IN A NO DISQUALIFICATIONS MATCH: Everything was riding on the line for Dolph Ziggler as a victory here would result in him being added to the WWE Championship match at King of the Ring. After Ziggler connected with a Superkick onto Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan slid into the ring and went after the 'Show Off.' Rowan held Ziggler up as Harper was looking to deliver a Big Boot. Ziggler, however, managed to move out of harm's way as Harper inadvertently connected with Rowan! Ziggler Dropkicked Harper out of the ring, following that up by running off of the ring apron and planting Harper with a DDT onto the floor. By that point, Wyatt had rolled out of the ring, but Ziggler leaped over the top rope and crashed onto the number one contender! Ziggler looked underneath the ring, bring out a kendo stick. He struck Wyatt repeatedly with it as the two walked up to the stage. Ziggler delivered a Zig Zag onto the steel, getting a cover and only a two count. Ziggler then picked the kendo stick back up, waiting for Wyatt to get to his feet. Ziggler swung the stick one more time, but Wyatt was able to dodge the show and place Ziggler in position for Sister Abigail, delivering it onto the WWE logo on the stage! Ziggler's head bounced off of the prop as Wyatt covered him to finally pick up the victory.
The WWE Universe showed its displeasure for the outcome as Bray Wyatt stood to his feet, letting out a sinister laugh while standing over Dolph Ziggler. "The WWE Championship remains Bray Wyatt's date with destiny," said John Bradshaw Layfield, referring to the fact that because of his victory, Wyatt's match against John Cena at King of the Ring will still be one-on-one. After Wyatt left to the backstage area, the official was shown trying to assist Ziggler to his feet. Suddenly, Ziggler was ambushed by Kane and the WWE Tag Team Champions, Randy Orton and Batista! The three Committee stomped away on Ziggler before Batista picked him up, bringing him closer to the edge of the stage. 'The Animal' placed Ziggler on his shoulders as Orton and Kane assisted him, delivering a Triple Powerbomb to Ziggler off of the stage! The 'Show Off' crashed onto the debris at the bottom, laying motionless as several officials rushed to check on him. Triple H then emerged through the curtain, smiling as Orton, Batista and Kane stared at Ziggler after decimating. "Dolph Ziggler's career may be over and our own boss put the hit out on him," said Michael Cole in a somber tone. Hunter, Orton, Batista and Kane raised each other's arms while Ziggler was being strapped to a stretcher, the 'Show Off' being added to the list featuring Wrestling Royalty, Paige, AJ Lee, CM Punk, Wade Barrett and Dean Ambrose as individuals whose lives have been made hell by The Committee.

WWE Extreme Rules: Sunday 19th May 2013…I’m assuming the date on this show was the 19th? It wasn’t clear. Anyway, I owed you this reply so here it is. The Miz taking a loss to Ryback was absolutely fine to me. It was a short term angle and hopefully from this point you have plans for one of these men for a longer, more intriguing angle. Also, ‘Big Hungry’ is a really bizarre nickname. This match was fine for the Extreme Rules Kickoff show segment. I do admire your detail on the Kickoff show, though. It’s very nicely done. The opening contest of Extreme Rules sounded really fun, with the Intercontinental Championship on the line in Falls Count Anywhere. A decent opening contest to get over the whole “extreme” factor of this program, and Seth Rollins retaining the title against Sheamus was the better decision. I’m interested in how you continue to present Rollins as an establishing character, though. Heh, Roman Reigns winning the United States Championship was fine against Derrick Bateman. This one was total filler, without a doubt. It’s a shame that it was also a Tables match, but without a doubt I’m sure it got Reigns’ Spear over here. I’m not sure yet how I feel about Reigns as United States Champion – I can’t help but feel like he doesn’t need it at all. Up next, great Ironman match between Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler with the World Heavyweight Championship at stake. It would’ve been a solid way to ring us into the second hour of the show, and I like how it seemed even from start to finish. I sincerely hope that Bryan’s reign as champ is long and productive. The overtime finish worked, protecting Ziggler too. Bryan now uses the Cattle Mutilation as a finish? Heh, alright. I’m glad that Ziggler accepted Bryan’s handshake of respect, too. Oh God, a promo on pay-per-view? I guess you needed a comedown after that Ironman match. The Committee isn’t as dominant sounding as the Authority, but it works I suppose. I hate authority figure angles and mainstream wrestling’s reliance on them. Dean Ambrose and Vince McMahon makes for some comedy conflict, without a doubt. A nice juxtaposition leading to what should be a long haul on the road to SummerSlam in August. I guess long-term angles are good, but this should be interesting. A whole three months away! Hopefully it continues to be carefully paced out. I’m happy with the idea of Ambrose getting to the WWE Championship the long and hard way, too – he reminds me of Stone Cold Steve Austin in the rebellious, against-all-odds sense. The decision to hold a six-man tag team bout in place of the WWE Championship being defended reminds me of Backlash 2003 where they did a six-man tag bout in place of a World Heavyweight Championship bout. Like that, I think this was quite good and made for quality story progression. I’m sure that this will end up delivering at King of the Ring next month (more on that later). Impressive to have Brock Lesnar, Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno come out victorious, I think I like it. John Cena, CM Punk and Wade Barrett didn’t desperately need that win. I see that the goal is now for Lesnar to face Punk, probably at SummerSlam as in real life. Randy Orton and Batista defeating the Usos made for a fair WWE Tag Team Championship defense – long term I wonder when Orton and Batista start fizzling out. Also hoping that they get themselves back up the card sooner than later, for realism’s sake. It’s a shame to see them taking a backseat, here. Plus I’m not sure how long you plan on having Batista stick around. The Usos did get a good rub here, though. What, the Buried Alive match isn’t going on last? Right away I’m calling that blasphemous. I did expect Bray Wyatt to go over, allowing The Undertaker time to go away and recover and return at the beginning of 2014 – this didn’t disappoint. That said, this angle pretty much replicates several previous disappearances of the Undertaker: namely the 1994 Royal Rumble, 1996 in Buried Alive, etc. Oh man. I’m not sure what to say about the Divas main eventing a pay-per-view, especially called Extreme Rules. On one hand – revolutionary for womens wrestling. Innovative for feminism in womens wrestling in the year 2013. A fresh concept for the future of professional wrestling as a whole. On the other – the fans probably wouldn’t have expected this and got their money’s worth without the Divas’ participation. I could have seen them walking out of this match happy with the show they’d already seen: despite your efforts, the booking of the Divas is on a different scale to main events and main eventers we’ve already seen on this show. No doubt it’s well built, but did this match not already main event a RAW a few weeks back? I think it was better off there than here. Additionally when you put Paige and AJ Lee in the ring together, much like their previous series in 2014, this wouldn’t have been that fun to watch. What did make it fun to watch from a WWE fan’s sense however is the brutality and the gimmicky nature of the Last Diva Standing stipulation. While I really enjoyed the write-up and your sacrifice to have this go on last in a bizarre instance, the garbage wrestling really took away from it. It’s like you had women’s wrestling bring wrestling into the next level – but then took it back again with the garbage wrestling that has no place in WWE 2013. Too brutal. The interactions from the Authority was pretty nice at least. But overall, I wasn’t that keen on this segment as a whole ultimately. If this was more filtered down and even opened the show, I’m sure it would have made for a memorable match. But you made it creative for yourself, and that’s not a bad thing at all. I just disagree with this whole indy wrestling concept of “Divas in a garbage wrestling match”. Memorable though, and you opened a lot of readers’ eyes visibly from this show. Overall, a solid pay-per-view outside of the closing segment. King of the Ring next month is different, and I eagerly anticipate what you have in store for us there. Let’s just try not to make Ambrose’s road to the title overly predictable and have him win the tournament.

- Of course Ziggler will not join The Committee and why should he? All Ziggler has ever done is be held back by The Committee namely the COO of this company Triple H and Triple H bringing up all of Ziggler's past accolades and that Ziggler has gotten opportunities but that he would have never have gotten them had Triple H been there but Ziggler I just want to see him prove The Committee wrong
- Ziggler vs Wyatt and if Ziggler wins, he's added into the WWE Championship match at King of the Ring and it will be a Triple Threat Match, I can somehow see Ziggler winning this match to make it a Triple Threat at the KOTR PPV
- Ziggler beating Committee member and WWE Commissioner Kane, just goes to show us that Ziggler doesn't need The Committee never did and never will
- Kofi, Truth, Santino and Los Matadores w/El Torito vs 3MB, Justin Gabriel, and Ryder ending in a No Contest because of Rusev, wow what an impact, Rusev just laying waste destroying whoever came into his path he came he saw and he conquered...now that is what I call making an impact in your return but I wonder what is next for Rusev especially now that both he and Lana are back?
- Cody Rhodes one step closer to being King of the Ring all that much closer to being King he wins his first round qualifier for King of the Ring by beating Miz, I would say Rhodes in his in-ring return it looks like he hasn't missed a step that's for sure and even though it looked like he had ring rust in the beginning he managed to overcome it to beat Miz but I wonder what happens with Miz now that he's essentially lost now that he is out of the King of the Ring tournament?
- Tyson Kidd seems that confident he is going to beat the WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns, I doubt that, I sincerely doubt that he will move on to the next round of the King of the Ring
- Daniel Bryan vs Cesaro vs Ohno in a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship at King of the Ring, I can't wait but at the same time Bryan doesn't even have to be pinned to lose his World Heavyweight Championship, either Cesaro could pin Ohno or Ohno could pin Cesaro and Bryan could lose his title that way but I wonder how are Cesaro and Ohno going to be able to co-exist in the Triple Threat Match even though they are both Paul Heyman Guys? I am sure one of them will want to be champion and only one of them can be so with gold on the line these guys are bound to turn on each other so I wonder how Heyman is going to be able to make sure his guys stay not only focused but stay a unit?
- Roman Reigns beating Tyson Kidd finally managing to shut Tyson Kidd up, I was glad that someone was able to shut Tyson up and maybe now Tyson will know just when to keep his mouth shut because he is not doing himself any favors but now that Roman Reigns is all that much more closer to being King of the Ring and he has to face the winner of Van Dam/Del Rio I wonder if Reigns has a personal preference as for who he would rather face? But I wonder what is next for Tyson Kidd especially now that he is out of KOTR?
- AJ Lee is out of The Committee, I knew it was only a matter of time before AJ would be out but I didn't count on Kaitlyn turning on her best friend AJ but seeing her turn on her and Kaitlyn being the new handpicked face of the divas division it is only a matter of time before Kaitlyn becomes WWE Divas Champion especially now that Kaitlyn has Stephanie backing her but it seems AJ has become babyface all over again...it seems it will be AJ defending her WWE Divas Championship at King of the Ring against Kaitlyn, yes I think we could be looking at the next WWE Divas Champion and her name is Kaitlyn
- Luke Harper beating Jerry "The King" Lawler to qualify for the next round of King of the Ring like was this match ever in doubt? I don't think Lawler ever really stood a chance here in this match but now that Lawler got his moment in the sun he can focus on his real job and that is being a commentator but just when Harper, Rowan and Wyatt are about to destroy Lawler, here comes Ziggler with the save I didn't count on Ziggler to make the save I would have thought that it would have been Cena the WWE Champion but to see Ziggler do it, it makes sense given tonight's main event
- CM Punk beating Orton in a WrestleMania 27 rematch but all be it by DQ, because of Batista and J & J Security getting involved I figured that they would but just when they are about to do even more damage to Punk here comes Barrett to make the save and both he and Punk clean house only for them to catch up to Bateman but then here comes the WWE Tag Team Champions Batista and Orton who destroy both Barrett and Punk leaving them laying, I wonder who else is next for the Committee to try to destroy tonight?
- Seth Rollins beating Ryback, now this has got to be considered a shocker considering Ryback has been white-hot considering Ryback has been red-hot winning match after match only losing like only once until now, I think this is Ryback's second-ever loss in WWE losing to Rollins, this really hurts Ryback's momentum in the sense that it kills Ryback's momentum considering how hot Ryback has been and now that he has lost it makes Ryback seem all the more vulnerable but I could understand why you had Rollins win this King of the Ring qualifier even though Rollins he doesn't really need King of the Ring...Ryback on the other hand needed it more but that's just me
- WWE NXT Champion, the NXT Champion on RAW Adam Cole in his first main roster match he actually impresses by beating Titus O'Neil a proven veteran, this just goes to show us that not only are NXT superstars the new wave in WWE that they are the future and Cole is the future and he has a match coming up on NXT Takeover having to defend his WWE NXT Championship against Sami Zayn, I just hope Zayn was watching this match
- And in the main event Wyatt wins, he beats Ziggler and the KOTR main event for the WWE Championship will stay one-on-one, it will be Cena/Wyatt for the WWE Championship but still what a vicious attack to end the show by the WWE Tag Team Champions Batista and Randy Orton and the WWE Commissioner Kane of the Committee, I am absolutely sickened I am absolutely flabbergasted just pissed off that they had to do this to Ziggler, that Triple Powerbomb to Ziggler off the stage I wonder if that is the last time we see Ziggler if not for a while? I can see Ziggler returning by Survivor Series...Royal Rumble 2014 in your diary by the latest as a surprise entrant

Here we go with Raw! The Authority Committee making their way down to the ring to start the show. Boo Committee. Dolph Ziggler, you defiant little punk bitch! HOW DARE YOU DEFY THE AUTHORITY COMMITEE AND NOT JOIN THEM! NOW YOU GET TO FACE KOMMISSIONER KANE! Obvious victory for Ziggler over Kane, he wasn't going to lose to that loser. Oh snap, Ziggler wants more! Crazy bitch, now he gets Bray Wyatt later. Something tells me he doesn't stand a chance, though. Oh snap, Rusev crush! Crush the ten guys that nobody cares about! Weird combination of the ten guys, but it was fine to get Rusev back and owning the pieces of poopoo. Here we go, the first match for the King of the Ring. Glad to see Cody Rhodes beat The Miz. Man, The Miz fell off. He was competing for a World Title shot and now loses in the first round of KOTR!? AWEEEESOMEEE. FACT. ing Tyson Kidd. What a dummy. A solid promo here between Daniel Bryan, Paul Heyman, Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno. I like the idea of a triple threat at King of the Ring, although we all know that Bryan is going to walk away with the belt. Roman Reigns defeating Tyson Kidd comes as n osurprise. Good to see Kidd actually put up a fight... sort of. This was more of a way to make him and Natalya get more exposure just for lolreignswins. Derrick Bateman said cruiserweight division. Way to steal that line, scumbag. Kaitlyn being Stephanie McMahon's pick to take down AJ Lee makes a lot of sense. You know why? Big ol' boobies. And both hot. I could see a Summerslam match between AJ and Stephanie taking place, but where the hell is Paige!? WHERE IS SHE, RYAN!? Obvious victory for Luke Harper over Jerry Lawler. I mean, come on. Jerry wouldn't ever win with that heart... frigin' Bray Wyatt, trying to hit Sister Abigail on Jerry. He already went through enough, damn it! CM Punk should quit with the way he was treated in this match, with the disqualification and the beat down. Maybe you can fire him on his wedding day too when it comes next year, Ryan. I'm assuming we'll have Punk and Barrett versus Randy Orton and Batista at King of the Ring? Seth Rollins defeating Ryback, again, an expected result. Poor Ryborg. Good for Rollins though, I could really see him going all the way to win the King of the Ring - if not Dean Ambrose. Hey! The NXT Champion Adam Cole! NXT TakeOver is something I can't miss!? PLEASE. Although it does look like a good card. Finally, the main event. Bray Wyatt beating Dolph Ziggler was the best call, I think Wyatt and Cena should go at it in a singles match and not have Ziggler involved. The Committee with the beat down to end the show was good for them... no John Cena though!? WHAT A FRIGIN' SCUMBAG! HE NEVER SHOWS UP WHEN EVERYONE NEEDS HIM! Anyway, a good episode of Raw per usual, bitch.

As for my updated King of the Ring bracket predictions:
Rhodes vs Harper= Rhodes
Rollins vs Neville= Rollins
Reigns vs Del Rio= Reigns
Sheamus vs Ambrose= Ambrose
- I can see Sheamus turning heel as a result of his loss to Ambrose in the quarter-finals with Sheamus just snapping and beating the holy hell out of Ambrose signalling Sheamus' heel turn and Sheamus becoming the ruthless, barbaric Sheamus of old becoming the Celtic Warrior of old becoming the Sheamus he used to be back in 2009-2010 when he shocked the world to become the first-ever Irish born WWE Champion, I see Sheamus' heel turn happening as a result of his loss to Reigns leaving Ambrose laying, and by doing this Sheamus turning heel he aligns himself with The Committee in the sense that Sheamus is not a member of The Committee but he is more or less a hired gun, a mercenary if you will
As for my semi-finals bracket:
Rhodes vs Rollins= Rollins
Reigns vs Ambrose= Ambrose
- I see Mr. Money in the Bank Derrick Bateman making his presence felt making an impact as Bateman costs Reigns his Semi-Final match against Ambrose, well Bateman wouldn't necessarily be helping Ambrose even though Ambrose is directly feuding with him and The Committee, Bateman costs Reigns out of revenge for Reigns taking his WWE United States Championship from him and knowing Bateman isn't he entitled to his rematch clause for the WWE United States Championship? If he is then why not go after Reigns and cost him his shot at King of the Ring?
2013 King of the Ring Final
WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose (Winner: 2013 King of the Ring Dean Ambrose)
- Ambrose wins King of the Ring despite The Committee's attempts to try to stop Ambrose from winning this match he ultimately does and Ambrose is reinstated as he ends up getting his job back and by winning King of the Ring Ambrose would get his title shot at SummerSlam for either the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship depending on who the champions are after King of the Ring

#NXTTakeover
| At the start of the show, the signature WWE intro aired as usual, but throughout it, several flashes of NXT superstars were shown before cutting to a video package. The video started off with a shot of Sami Zayn sitting in the ring after his loss to the former NXT Champion, Kassius Ohno, back at NXT ArRival. While Zayn was unable to get the job done, someone else was. On April 10th at NXT's 1-year Anniversary show, Adam Cole shocked the world of professional wrestling and sports entertainment by defeating Ohno to become the new NXT Champion. Zayn would earn another opportunity at the championship by defeating Michael Bennett, Enzo Amore and Corey Graves in a number one contenders match. Tonight, Zayn has one more shot at redemption. And in his mind, this is his final shot. "They've arrived, but tonight, they take over," said a voice over while a shot of Adam Cole holding up the NXT Championship was shown.
After the NXT intro aired, cameras scanned the red-hot audience here at Full Sail University as NXT TakeOver has finally arrived! The commentary team of Byron Saxton, Jason Alberts and WWE Hall of Famer, Jim Ross, welcomed everyone to the biggest event in NXT to date. Tonight, Sami Zayn gets one more opportunity at the NXT Championship when he takes on Adam Cole. Also on the line tonight will be the NXT Women's Championship as Emma defends against 'The Boss' Sasha Banks. NXT'e entry into the King of the Ring tournament will see Adrian Neville and Sir Kenneth Cameron settle their war in a first round match. For the services of Maria Kanellis, Michael Bennett takes on one of the more popular superstars among the NXT Universe, Enzo Amore. But first, the NXT Tag Team Championships are on the line!
| #NXTagTeamTitles
| The entrance music of The Alpha Wolves hit as the Full Sail audience popped massively. Out came Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, who captured the NXT Tag Team Championships from Corey Graves and Jake Carter back at NXT ArRival by answering an open challenge. Tonight, Richards and Edwards would be on the opposite side of the ring as they were the ones issuing the challenge to any tag team in the world. Once in the ring, Richards took a microphone as the "Wolves!" chant was thunderous. "Not too long ago, Eddie Edwards and I made it clear that we were looking for competition. Not just any competition, but the absolute best that professional wrestling has to offer. The challenge went out to every tag team in the world, so whoever is accepting it, now's your golden opportunity," said Richards. He placed the microphone down as he and Edwards stood in the ring, waiting for an answer to their challenge. Suddenly, an unfamiliar theme hit, the crowd remaining silence for a bit. Suddenly, the name "The Addiction" appeared on the titantron as Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian made their way out to a massive ovation from the Full Sail audience. "We heard a while back that these two men signed contracts with the WWE, and it looks like they're ready to make their debut in NXT! Daniels and Kazarian are here!" said Jason Alberts on commentary. Chants of "Addiction!" broke out as the two stepped into the ring, confronting The Alpha Wolves. "Now, we may not be The Wyatt Family, but Full Sail University, WE'RE! HERE!" said Kazarian as the crowd continued to go wild. "Yes, that is correct, Francias. We're here, but not for you people. We're here because the two most dashing lads in all of professional wrestling are ready to leave their mark on the WWE, and we're starting with the NXT Tag Team Championships. No offense, David and Edwin, but nobody wants to see the two of you as champions. Please, stop. You're boring all of these immature and inept college students," said Daniels, able to get the audience against him. "So let it be known that the days of these two Twilight wannabees as NXT Tag Team Champions are over and done with. Those bad boys are coming around the glorious waists of myself, Frankie Kazarian, and the man with the wiggle that makes all the ladies giggle, Christopher Daniels. The reign of The Addiction is upon us!" said Kazarian. "And you all now have permission to worship us........" said Daniels, but he was unable to finish his phrase as another unfamiliar theme song hit, starting off with a beating sound as red lights flickered. Seconds later, the names "KENTA" and "Prince Devitt" appeared on the titantron. The roof nearly came off of the Full Sail Arena as the crowd went ballistic! When the music finally kicked in, the names were changed to "Hideo Itami" and "Finn Balor" respectively. Itami and Balor appeared on the stage, the two looking out into the sea of fans that were going wild for them! The Alpha Wolves looked to be unphased by the appearance of Balor and Itami, but The Addiction looked as if they had seen two ghosts. Balor and Itami stepped into the ring, the former taking a microphone. "Davey, Eddie, you two issued a challenge to anyone from anywhere in the world. Be careful what you wish for because the two best international stars in the world today, myself and Hideo Itami, are here to accept your challenge. We promised the WWE Universe at WrestleMania that we were going to make an impact, and that's what we're here for," said Balor. Daniels, however, got in his face, saying that the open challenge was already answered by The Addiction. "Francias and I were here first! This is our championship match! So why don't you two hop back on your boat or plane or however you got to the United St-" said Daniels before being hit with a Roundhouse Kick from Itami! Kazarian tried to retaliate, but Itami dodged the shot and caught him with a kick to the mid-section. Balor then climbed onto the top rope, coming down with a Foot Stomp onto the back of Kazarian! Itami and Balor threw The Addiction out of the ring before meeting The Alpha Wolves face-to-face. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards handed the NXT Tag Team Championships over to the official, letting the world know that they would be defending the title right here and right now against Finn Balor and Hideo Itami!
NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - THE ALPHA WOLVES VS. FINN BALOR & HIDEO ITAMI: The audience in Full Sail University could not have been any hotter for this opening contest that saw international stars, Hideo Itami and Finn Balor, make their NXT debuts after appearing at WrestleMania XXIX and promising to make an impact in WWE. With the reactions split right down the middle, both teams threw everything that they had at each other. The Alpha Wolves nearly picked up the victory after Richards made the tag to Edwards, who knocked Balor off of the ring ring apron. Edwards placed Itami in position for a Brainbuster, hitting it while Richards delivered a kick to the back of Itami's head. Edwards got the cover, but surprisingly, Itami managed to kick out! The defending NXT Tag Team Champions then called for their finishing sequence of the Backstabber/Powerbomb combination. As Richards stood on the top rope, Balor pushed him off before Itami countered Edwards' Powerbomb into a Hurricanrana. As Edwards staggered back into the center of the ring, Itami delivered a Roundhouse Kick. Edwards tried to get to his feet as Balor stepped onto the top rope, looking to strike with his Foot Stomp. However, that was not to be as Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, who were denied this title opportunity, hit the ring. Kazarian pushed Balor off the top rope and onto Richards as Daniels slid into the ring and attacked Itami, causing the double disqualification finish. THE ALPHA WOLVES VS. FINN BALOR & HIDEO ITAMI ENDS IN A DOUBLE DISUALIFICATION!
The NXT Universe booed heavily as The Addiction, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, continued their assault on The Alpha Wolves, Finn Balor and Hideo Itami even after the bell had been sounded repeatedly. "We were witnessing a classic for the NXT Tag Team Championships, and the very bitter Daniels and Kazarian decided to stick their noses where they don't belong," said Jim Ross on commentary. Kazarian threw Itami out of the ring before Daniels delivered a split-legged Moonsault onto Eddie Edwards. Daniels and Kazarian stood over The Alpha Wolves, Finn Balor and Hideo Itami before leaving the ring, irate that their NXT debuts were overshadowed by that of Balor and Itami. "We're the best! Those titles are ours!" shouted Daniels on the stage while taunting the audience members.
| #RotundovsCorbin
| Backstage, Sami Zayn was shown sitting in the locker room, listening to music and taping his wrists. Tonight, Zayn competes in the biggest match of his career thus far as he takes on Adam Cole for the NXT Championship. And in Zayn's mind, if he does not become champion here tonight, this may be the end of him as a performer.
Returning to the Full Sail Arena, the entrance music of Bo Rotundo hit as he made his way out to a chorus of boos from the NXT Universe. Bo, who was wearing a brand new "Bo-Lieve" shirt raised both arms on the stage while giving a wide grin to the camera. Baron Corbin, who was already in the ring, was introduced as Bo's opponent while the 'Inspirational Superstar' began to speak. "That's right, everyone! Christmas has come early this year because Bo Rotundo is here!" he said as the audience continued to boo him. "I know that I'm not competing for the NXT Championship tonight, but I vowed that I would not let all of my 'Bo-lievers' down! One day soon, I will be the NXT Champion....because all I have to do....is BO-LIEVE!"
BO ROTUNDO VS. BARON CORBIN: The bell sounded as Bo Rotundo spent some time looking out into the crowd of NXT Universe members that he believed were his 'Bo-lievers,' though their reaction would say otherwise. Bo turned around, yelled out, "It's Bo time!" and charged towards Baron Corbin, who immediately grabbed Bo and delivered a lifting reverse STO! Baron covered Bo, picking up the shocking victory in an even more shocking fashion! BARON CORBIN DEF. BO ROTUNDO!
"Good God, it's over just like that!" said Jim Ross as the NXT Universe came unglued. Baron Corbin stood to his feet, staring down at Bo Rotundo after defeating the former NXT Tag Team Champion in a record time! "I'm being told now that this bout lasted all of eleven seconds! Eleven seconds is all that it took for the newcomer, Baron Corbin, to put Bo Rotundo away!" stated Byron Saxton. Corbin left the ring, not looking back or saying a single word. Perhaps no words were needed on his part as his actions spoke louder than words by putting away Bo Rotundo in just eleven seconds at NXT TakeOver!
Backstage, NXT General Manager Brad Maddox was shown in his office when Renee Young walked in, granting Maddox the air time that he had requested "The reason, Renee, why you're interviewing me right now is because I have a groundbreaking announcement to make. Because I'm so close to The Committee, I am able to give NXT opportunities that some people may not have ever seen as possible. Well, never doubt the man with the power in his hands. On August 18th, live on Pay-Per-View and the WWE Network, WWE will present SummerSlam, one of its biggest events. And this year, it will be bigger than ever before because for the first time ever, NXT will have a match on a WWE Pay-Per-View!" said Maddox as the Full Sail audience could be heard roaring massively in the background. NXT will be at SummerSlam on August 18th!
| #BennettvsEnzo
| A promo was shown for King of the Ring, live Sunday June 16th, only on Pay-Per-View.
Back in the Full Sail Arena for NXT TakeOver, the entrance music of Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis hit as the two made their way out, the NXT Universe showering them with boos. Bennett and Maria, however, did not care one bit as they stepped into the ring, the former prepared to defend the managerial services of his girlfriend against the man who has eyed her for weeks now, Enzo Amore. Once Enzo's theme song hit, the crowd erupted as he and Colin Cassady stepped out onto the stage. "My name is Enzo Amore! And I'm a certified G and a bonafide stud and you can't! Teach! That! And this right here, this is Big Cass. He's seven feet tall and you can't Teach! That! Mikey, you're the reason that I ain't in the NXT Championship match tonight. That's a slap to my face, so in return, I'm gonna slap you even harder! I'm talkin' about a backhand to the kisser that would knock Mayweather on his bottom! How you doin'?! But not just that. After I take that W home, I'm also taking Maria home. Her services will be mine, and maybe, just maybe, I'll finally be able to live out those fantasies that are more graphic than a Last Diva Standing match! How you doin'?!"
FOR THE MANAGERIAL SERVICES OF MARIA KANELLIS - MICHAEL BENNETT VS. ENZO AMORE: As soon as Enzo Amore slid into the ring, Michael Bennett stomped away on him, furious over the comments that Enzo made towards himself and Maria Kanellis. Bennett kept Enzo grounded for much of the match, doing so while taunting the NXT Universe. After Bennett planted Enzo with a Suplex onto the floor, the arrogant superstar got into the face of Colin Cassady. Bennett rolled Enzo back into the ring, looking as if he were going to re-enter the squared circle. Instead, Bennett stepped off of the ring apron and shoved Big Cass. In response, Cass delivered an even harder push to Bennett knocking him onto the floor. The official came between the two of them, ordering Bennett back into the ring before ejecting Cass from ringside. The NXT Universe booed as Cass walked up the entrance ramp, Maria sarcastically waving at him. Back in the ring. Bennett placed Enzo on the top rope, looking to deliver a Superplex. Enzo, however, struck away onto Bennett, pushing him off of the top rope. When Bennett got to his feet, Enzo leaped off with a Missile Dropkick! He got the cover, but Bennett managed to get his shoulders up in time. Enzo waited for Bennett to get back up, throwing jabs at the air. Maria then stepped onto the ring apron, trying to create a distraction for Enzo. "This is what cost him the number one contenders match for the NXT Championship," stated Jason Alberts on commentary. Enzo was distracted for a moment, but when Bennett charged at him, he moved out of the way. Bennett nearly collided with Maria, but stopped himself. Enzo then rolled Bennett up, managing to pick up the victory! ENZO AMORE DEF. MICHAEL BENNETT!
Every member of the NXT Universe in attendance jumped to their feet as Enzo Amore backed into the ropes, his arm being raised in victory. Michael Bennett remained sitting on the canvas as he was left stunned at the result. "Enzo Amore just defeated Michael Bennett, and because of that, Maria's services now belong to Enzo!" said Byron Saxton. Maria was speechless at ringside while Enzo stared at her. Soon thereafter, Maria stepped into the ring, approached Enzo and delivered a slap across his face! "Never! Never will I be yours!" shouted the irate Maria as she and Bennett exited the ring. They stared at Enzo while heading up the entrance ramp, unaware that Colin Cassady made his way out from the backstage area. Big Cass turned Bennett around and struck him in the face, knocking him out! When Maria tried to slap Cass, he grabbed her arm and lifted her onto his shoulder. "Let me go! I'm the first lady of NXT, dammit!" screamed Maria as Enzo approached Bennett's motionless body with a microphone. "Hey, Mikey. There's a couple reasons why you're going home the loser. Three, to be exact. One, I'm better than you. Two, you're a chump whose mother couldn't wait to kick out of the house when he turned eighteen. And three, because...well, I know you just got your lights knocked out and can't hear all that well, so I'm gonna spell it out for you. Because you're S! A! W! F! T! SAWFT!" Enzo threw the microphone onto Bennett's chest as he, Big Cass and the unwilling Maria left to the backstage area.

| At this time, the very first promo for SummerSlam aired, featuring the official theme song for the event, "The City" by The 1975. As announced earlier by General Manager, Brad Maddox, NXT will be showcased on Pay-Per-View for the first time ever at the 'Biggest Party of the Summer' on August 18th.
Back in the Full Sail Arena, the focus was placed on the commentary trio as Jim Ross stated that he could not be any more proud to see the progress that NXT has made in the past year. "These young men and women have worked as hard as any top tier athlete in this industry, and all of that works pays off at SummerSlam when NXT has its first match on a WWE branded Pay-Per-View," he said. Byron Saxton then said that while we know that NXT will be at SummerSlam, it's possible that one of the two competitors in the next match will be as well. The bell sounded as Eden Stiles announced that the following contest is the King of the Ring first round match. Adrian Neville's entrance music hit first as he made his way down to the ring, getting the audience fired up for this massively important match up. While Neville was in the ring, Sir Kenneth Cameron's music hit to the opposite response. Kenneth, who was accompanied by William Regal, made his way down to the ring, meeting Neville face-to-face. The rivalry between Neville and Kenneth was about to be settled, and one of them would advance to the quarterfinals of the King of the Ring tournament.
KING OF THE RING FIRST ROUND MATCH - ADRIAN NEVILLE VS. SIR KENNETH CAMERON: The Full Sail audience was thoroughly behind Adrian Neville right from the start of the bout, chanting "Let's go, Neville!" thunderously. The chants did not get to Sir Kenneth Cameron as he used his power and strength, as well as the advice being shouted to him from William Regal, to pummel Neville. "Regal is a former King of the Ring winner himself, so you know that he has made it clear to Kenneth how important this tournament is and what he needs to do in order to come out on top," said Jim Ross on commentary. Kenneth stepped onto the top rope, taking Neville with him. The English powerhouse was attempting to deliver a top rope Powerbomb, but Neville was able to counter it and delivered a Hurricanrana! Neville got the cover, but it wasn't enough as Kenneth managed to kick out at two. As the two stirred to their feet, William Regal stepped onto the ring apron to try and get the attention of the official. During that, Kenneth pulled a pair of brass knuckles out of his tights. He attempted to strike with them, but Neville was one step ahead, dodging the shot and catching Kenneth with a Spinning Heel Kick. The brass knuckles fell from Kenneth's hand as Neville glanced at them, picking them up. When he did so, Regal pointed it out to the official. Neville had the opportunity to give Kenneth a taste of his own medicine, but it would cost him the match and his King of the Ring hopes. "Do it, you little bugger! Let everyone down again! That's all you'll ever be good for!" shouted Regal, knowing that Neville being disqualified would only benefit his protege. Rather than hitting Kenneth with the brass knuckles, Neville struck Regal in between the eyes with them! Regal fell off of the ring apron as Neville climbed onto the top rope, delivering the Red Arrow to Kenneth Cameron. Neville got the cover, the official making the three count that brought everyone to their feet. ADRIAN NEVILLE DEF. SIR KENNETH CAMERON!
"Adrian Neville advances in the King of the Ring tournament!" shouted Jim Ross on commentary as the Full Sail arena came unglued! Adrian Neville got to his feet, tears in his eyes as he picked up the biggest victory of his career. Not only did he manage to get revenge against Sir Kenneth Cameron and William Regal, but this victory places him in the Quarterfinals of the King of the Ring tournament! "One of NXT's very own is one step closer to a WWE or World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam!" said Jason Alberts on commentary, just as proud of Neville as the NXT Universe was. Neville made his way into the audience, celebrating with the fans at Full Sail University.
| #EmmavsSasha
| Backstage, NXT Women's Champion Emma was shown preparing for her upcoming title defense against Sasha Banks, who has been a thorn in her side for months now. A video package was shown, taking us back to the night on January 9th, when Emma defeated Raquel Diaz to become the first-ever NXT Women's Champion. During Raquel's quest to become champion, she managed to recruit Sasha Banks, who turned her back on Emma and the NXT Universe. Emma overcame Raquel Diaz, as well as her mother, Vickie Guerrero, ridding NXT of the two of them. Sasha, however, would not be silenced by Emma, vowing to become the NXT Women's Champion. A few weeks back, 'The Boss' managed to pick a submission victory over Emma, earning her this title opportunity here tonight. "Being the first-ever NXT Women's Champion is the biggest accomplishment of my life and I'm not ready to let it go. Sasha thinks that just because I like to have fun, that makes me weak. She's going to find out for herself why the 'Emmalution' is taking over the WWE Universe," said Emma in the video package. Sasha Banks then spoke as well, saying that no one understands how hard she's worked to get to this point in her career. "When I say that I'm the baddest Diva in the WWE today, I mean it. Emma knows that and so do all of the morons who do that stupid dance with her ever week! I am the true talent on this show, not her! I'm the baddest and the best going today! At NXT TakeOver, I'm going to become NXT Women's Champion and I don't need barbed wire or thumbtacks to reach my goals and make a name for myself around here!" said Sasha, not only targeting Emma with her words, but WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee, and Paige as well. Both women have attempted to one-up each other in recent weeks, but this is no longer about picking up momentum. This is about one thing and one thing only - the NXT Women's Championship.
After the completion of the video package, the entrance music of Sasha Banks hit to a mixed response from the Full Sail arena. Sasha made her way down to the ring, the commentators noting that she appeared to be the most focused that she's ever been. "And she needs to be. This is the biggest match of her career and all eyes are on her and Emma," said Byron Saxton. As Sasha waited in the ring for the arrival of her adversary, the audience broke out into a split chant of, "Sasha's rachet!/No she's not!" Sasha covered her ears, not wanting to hear the negativity from some of the audience members. A brand new entrance theme for Emma then hit as the audience popped heavily. The NXT Women's Champion made her way out to the stage, performing her signature dance while bubbles filled the arena. Emma circled around the ring while dancing, only further irritating Sasha as she wanted the match underway. Emma soon stepped into the ring and handed over the NXT Women's Championship as the official raised it. The pre-match introductions were given for the biggest bout thus far involving the Divas of NXT. Who will leave Full Sail University tonight as the NXT Women's Champion? Emma or Sasha Banks?
NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - EMMA VS. SASHA BANKS: While the WWE Universe is still buzzing about AJ Lee and Paige's match that closed out Extreme Rules ten nights ago, Emma and Sasha Banks provided the alternative in what was one of the best wrestling bouts between two women in recent memory. The first attempt at a finisher came when Sasha attempted to hit Emma with a Backstabber and follow it up with the Bank Statement, but Emma managed to hold onto the top rope, causing 'The Boss' to fall back-first onto the canvas. Sasha immediately got to her feet and charged at Emma, but the NXT Women's Champion dodged the shot, wrapped her arms around Sasha's waist and delivered a German Suplex! Emma got the cover, but Sasha managed to narrowly kick out. Emma tried to pick Sasha up, but found herself in a small package roll up. Emma was able to kick out as she and Sasha got to their feet and connected with Clotheslines to each other. Both women got to their knees, exhausted to the point where they were using each other to try to get up. Sasha struck Emma with a closed fist, the defending champion doing the same. The two engaged in a fist fight until Emma hit Sasha with a headbutt, following that up with a knee strike. Emma covered Sasha, but there was still fight left in 'The Boss' as she kicked out. Sasha crawled to a corner as Emma saw an opening to deliver the Emma Sandwich, but Sasha moved out of the way as Emma collided with the bottom turnbuckle. Sasha climbed onto the top rope, waiting for the right moment. She then attempted to hit a Missile Dropkick, but Emma managed to catch her legs and apply the Emma Lock! The hold was cinched in in the middle of the ring as Sasha had nowhere to go! However, Sasha was able to take her free hand and begin pulling on Emma's hair. Sasha pulled violently as Emma soon had to release the hold. She struck Sasha repeatedly in the back before trying to reapply the hold. However, Sasha kicked Emma away into a corner. Emma collided with the turnbuckles, staggering back into the center of the ring. Sasha slid in-between Emma's legs, coming up behind her and delivering the Backstabber, following it up with the Bank Statement! Emma tried to reach the ropes, but came to a point where she could no longer extend her arm out enough or move her body. She attempted to roll out of the submission hold, but it turned out to be a mistake as Sasha kept it in! Emma was stuck in the center of the ring as 'The Boss' still had the Bank Statement full applied. Ultimately, Emma had no choice but to submit. SASHA BANKS WINS THE NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP!
"We have a new champion!" said Byron Saxton as a mixed response emerged from the audience. Sasha Banks released the Bank Statement as she stood on her knees while crying. The official handed her the NXT Women's Championship, 'The Boss' snatching it and raising it in the air. Several highlights from the incredible match were shown, finishing with the Bank Statement that lead to Emma submitting. Returning to the live feed, Sasha was shown standing on the entrance ramp with the title, yelling, "I told all of you!" at the audience. Sasha Banks' destiny is fulfilled and she will be leaving NXT TakeOver as the new NXT Women's Championship.

| A promo was shown for the WWE Network, launching on Monday, July 15th, immediately following RAW!
Backstage, Renee Young was standing by with the man who earlier tonight advanced in the King of the Ring tournament, Adrian Neville. The 'Man That Gravity Forgot' stepped into the ring picture as Renee congratulated him on his victory, asking what this means to him. "It means the world. Growing up as a little boy in Newcastle, all I ever wanted to do was one day be a WWE superstar. I clawed and scratched my here and tonight was the biggest night of my career. Because of my victory, that child who grew up loving this business is making his RAW debut next Monday! It's not going to be easy, however, because my next opponent in the King of the Ring tournament is the man who arguably put NXT on the map, Seth Rollins. I'll be meeting with WWE officials and even Mr. McMahon on Monday, and I truthfully don't know what my future is on NXT or if there even is one. If tonight was my last night on NXT, I just want to take this moment to thank each and every person who has supported me up to this point. We've made it this far and it's only the beginning. Thank you, NXT and Full Saul University. I'll never forget any of you," said Neville, who was very emotional. Was this the final night of Adrian Neville's NXT tenure? Is the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' now a full-time member of the main roster?
Cutting to the commentary team, Jim Ross stated that if tonight was Adrian Neville's final match on NXT, he was proud to have called it. "Congratulations to Adrian Neville, and coming up, we're going to be saying congratulations to either Adam Cole or Sami Zayn because whoever wins this match will have earned it," said Jason Alberts as a graphic was shown for the main event of the evening. The video package from last week's edition of NXT re-aired, this time featuring the closing image of Zayn holding the NXT Championship while staring at Cole. Cutting to the arena, Zayn's entrance music hit as the audience erupted for his arrival. Zayn made his way out to the stage, he and the NXT Universe shouting, "Let's go!" in unison during that part of his theme. Zayn marched down to the ring, ready for what he believes is his final opportunity at the NXT Championship. "It was three months ago when Sami Zayn lost to Kassius Ohno at NXT ArRival. The same Kassius Ohno who is going to compete at King of the Ring for the World Heavyweight Championship. I know that Zayn has been asking himself what could have happened to his career had he won at ArRival? Would be be in Ohno's position right now on the main stage?" said Jason Alberts. "But that's Zayn's problem. It doesn't matter what happened at NXT ArRival or what could have happened if he won that night. What matters is his match right here tonight against Adam Cole," responded Byron Saxton. As Zayn sat in a corner, new entrance music for Adam Cole hit to a mixed response as the NXT Champion made his way out to the stage. One could argue that those who were against Cole did not dislike, but simply believed that tonight was Sami Zayn's night. "In just a matter of less than two hours, we have seen debuts from the likes of Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Finn Balor and Hideo Itami. Baron Corbin set an NXT record. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady now have the managerial services of Maria Kanellis. Adrian Neville advanced in the King of the Ring tournament. Sasha Banks in the new NXT Women's Champion. But now, it is time for the main event. The biggest match in NXT to date," said Jim Ross. Justin Roberts, who was in attendance solely for this match, gave the introductions. The official raised the NXT Championship in the air as Cole and Zayn came face-to-face. The time had finally arrived. Who would be leaving NXT TakeOver as the NXT Champion?
NXT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - ADAM COLE VS. SAMI ZAYN: Despite both men being babyfaces, the NXT Universe was just about nearly one hundred percent behind Sami Zayn. Later on in the match, the action spilled to the outside of the ring as Cole attempted to deliver a Suplex, but Zayn landed on his feet and caught Cole with an Enziguri. Zayn then slid into the ring the stop the official's count, but slid to the other side of the ring. Zayn then attempted to hit a Tornado DDT by leaping between the second and bottom turnbuckles, but as he was doing so, Cole caught him with a Superkick! Cole rolled Zayn into the ring, but was only able to get a two count at that moment. The action would later pick up when Cole charged Zayn, but was caught and hit with an Exploder Suplex into the corner! The crowd was on in its feet as Zayn attempted to hit the Helluva Kick, but Cole was able to move out of harm's way. Zayn got caught up in the ropes as Cole grabbed him from behind, planting him with the Florida Key! Zayn, however, managed to kick out just in time. Cole stepped onto the second rope, waiting for Zayn to get to his feet. The defending NXT Champion was looking to deliver the Panama Sunrise, but Zayn was able to counter it and place Cole in a pinning predicament, getting just a two count. Zayn was then able to dodge a Clothesline from Cole, getting him in a corner and striking him repeatedly. Zayn then hit Cole with few kicks before the NXT Champion fell onto the canvas, Zayn continuing to stomp away on him while the audience went wild. Zayn placed Cole on the top rope, looking to put him in position for a Superplex. However, many people in the audience knew that Zayn was actually attempting to hit his signature move from the independent scene, the Brainbustah. Cole was able to fight out of it, turning the tables and planting Zayn with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb! Cole got the cover, but once again, Zayn managed to kick out! Cole grew frustrated as he brought Zayn to his feet, looking to hit another Florida Key. This time, Zayn was able to strike Cole with a few elbows to the head and go behind him, delivering his own Florida Key into the corner! Zayn quickly backed away and charged into Cole with a Helluva Kick! Rather than going for the cover, Zayn whipped the dazed Cole into the opposite corner of the ring, charging into him with a second Helluva Kick! Zayn got the cover, finally picking up the victory! SAMI ZAYN WINS THE NXT CHAMPIONSHIP!
The reaction was deafening as Sami Zayn remained on the canvas for a bit following the sound of the bell, his hands covering his face. "Here is your winner, and NEW NXT Champion, Sami Zayn!" said Justin Roberts as the title was handed to him. Zayn took the title and stared at it for a while before looking out into the sea of NXT fans. Zayn got his feet and raised the championship as the crowd continued to go wild. "Redemption for Sami Zayn! He was unable to get the job done at NXT ArRival, but here tonight at TakeOver, no one can say that Zayn can't win the big one!" said Jason Alberts, who stood up and applauded, as did all of the other commentators. "I did it.......I really did it," said Sami Zayn to himself as he sat in a corner while hugging the gold. Tears streamed from his eyes, finally achieving his goal of becoming the NXT Champion. Adam Cole would then get to his feet, he and Zayn locking eyes with each other. Zayn stood to his feet and approached Cole, the two staring at each other without speaking any words. Zayn would then extend his hand out, Cole taking his time to decide what to do. Ultimately, the former champion shook the hand of the new champion and hugged him. The NXT Universe continued to go wild as Cole raised Zayn's arm. "This is your moment. You deserve this," said Cole to Zayn before leaving the ring. "I think that we can all agree on what Adam Cole just said. This is Sami Zayn's moment and by God, he deserves it. Congratulations, Sami," said Jim Ross. Zayn stood on the second rope while raising the title high in the air, standing tall at TakeOver as the new NXT Champion!
............."Oh my God!" shouted Jim Ross as a man made his way out to the ring through the audience. The rest of the NXT Universe went wild as Kevin Owens, the former Kevin Steen, stood in the center of the ring. Sami Zayn was initially unaware of his presence, but Owens soon turned the new NXT Champion around, delivered a kick to the mid-section and delivered a huge Powerbomb! "That's Kevin Owens! One of NXT's newest major acquisitions and he just laid out Sami Zayn!" said Jason Alberts. Adam Cole re-emerged from the backstage area, running into the ring. Owens, however, made a run for the exit as he slid out of the ring and hopped back over the barricade, Cole continuing to chase after him.
Zayn was motionless in the middle of the ring as the audience was left stunned. Just moments after finally becoming the NXT Champion, Zayn was laid out by a man who he considered to be his best friend. Soon, the entrance music of Tyler Breeze hit as the Full Sail Arena practically shouted, "No!" in unison. 'Prince Pretty' ran down to the ring as he handed over his Money in the Bank briefcase to the official, wanting to cash-in right then and there. "Ladies and gentlemen, Tyler Breeze is cashing-in his Money in the Bank contact!" said Justin Roberts as the crowd booed wildly.
NXT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - SAMI ZAYN VS. TYLER BREEZE: One moment, Sami Zaym was on top of the world. The next, he was being Powerbombed by his best friend, Kevin Owens, and Tyler Breeze is picking up the scraps by cashing-in his Money in the Bank briefcase that he won back at NXT ArRival. Zayn began to stir to his feet as the bell was sounded, Breeze waiting for the perfect moment to strike. When Zayn turned around, Breeze delivered the Beauty Shot! "1......2......3!" TYLER BREEZE WINS THE NXT CHAMPIONSHIP!
The heartbreak among the fans in attendance was evident as everyone watched in silence and disgust. Tyler Breeze stood to his feet and raised his arms in the air while letting out a shout. He was handed the NXT Championship as he immediately picked up his cell phone, proceeding to take dozens upon dozens of 'selfies' with the gold. "I don't believe this. Tyler Breeze is the new NXT Champion, but dammit, this isn't right! Sami Zayn's moment of glory was ripped away from him by not just Breeze, but the last man on earth who we would have expected to betray Zayn, Kevin Owens!" said Jim Ross. A recap of the past events was shown, starting with Zayn's championship victory over Adam Cole. While Zayn was celebrating, Kevin Owens made his NXT debut by attacking Zayn, which ultimately lead to Breeze cashing-in his Money in the Bank briefcase and capturing the NXT Championship. Breeze was shown standing on the entrance ramp while raising the NXT Championship for the whole world to see. Zayn was still lifeless on the canvas, the biggest moment of his career becoming a nightmare. He not only lost the title that he had just captured, but his best friend was the one who made the opening for it to happen. Tyler Breeze is the new NXT Champion!

- The debut of Bad Influence the best team in the business, Daniels and Kazarian are now in a WWE ring but are in NXT under a new name The Addiction, I wish that they would have kept their name of Bad Influence but seeing as they are now here it is obvious that they want what The Alpha Wolves have and that are the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships but then KENTA & Prince Dewitt also under new names of Hideo Itami and Finn Balor they also want the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships but then The Addiction & Itami/Balor fighting it out while The Wolves watch, I would have expected Richards & Edwards to get involved but they didn't but either way what a great segment to start WWE NXT Takeover
- The Alpha Wolves the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions & Hideo Itami/Finn Balor's match ending in a double DQ because of Kazarian & Daniels The Addiction getting involved attacking both teams, I figured that this would happen considering The Addiction were embarrassed essentially by both teams to start off the show so this was retribution but either way Kazarian & Daniels they have thrown their name into the hat as far as the tag team scene goes
- Sami Zayn, it is now or never for him, if he doesn't win the WWE NXT Championship tonight here at WWE NXT Takeover then I don't think he ever will, this is a make or break moment for him
- Baron Corbin beating Bo Dallas in record time, I mean what a squash if I do say so myself, this can't even be considered a squash match this was a landslide victory more like a flawless victory, I can see Corbin being a big star here on NXT especially after making such a statement and especially in this kind of way I wonder if Bo Dallas will ever be the same after that?
- NXT having a match at SummerSlam, having a match on the card I can't wait
- Enzo Amore beating Michael Bennett, now Maria is in Enzo's corner now, wow what a shocker I would have expected Bennett to pull off the victory especially given the fact that Maria is his girlfriend I would have expected him to pull out all the stops to make sure that he wins but all of his plans backfiring in his face and Big Cass playing dividends in this match helping Enzo but Maria tried to help Bennett but it was all for naught and now that Maria has to manage Enzo I wonder what she is going to do? Maria slapping Enzo telling him that she will never be his manager, well it is only a matter of time before she ends up being his manager not that she has a choice
- Adrian Neville beating Sir Kenneth, now that he has beaten Regal's protege, Neville he will be facing Seth Rollins in the Quarter-Finals if I am not mistaken right? If that is the case then Neville he has no chance against Rollins but at the same time Neville he did put on a good match here with Sir Kenneth, a really good match here but I would have thought Sir Kenneth would have beaten Neville but he didn't and now that he hasn't I wonder what is next for Sir Kenneth & Regal?
- Sasha Banks becoming the new WWE NXT Divas Champion beating Emma, it was only a matter of time before Emma lost her title only a matter of time before Sasha would become champion and now that she is champion I can't see her losing her title any time soon and Sasha not only does she have charisma she just has it all and now that she is WWE NXT Divas Champion I wonder what is next for her?
- Sami Zayn becoming the new WWE NXT Champion if only for a few seconds or a few minutes because of his moment being ripped away from him by Kevin Owens, I definitely was expecting Owens to debut but just not like this and not like a heel turning on his best friend attacking Zayn leaving him laying, I wonder if we will get some kind of explanation from Owens about why he did what he did to Zayn? Tyler Breeze Mr. NXT Money in the Bank cashing in his briefcase to become the new WWE NXT Champion what can I say he picked his spot perfectly

Rawwwwww, a nice opening segment to get Ziggler over in a way. Pleased to see him go over Kane in the opening contest, Ziggler has a bright future for sure. Dolph Ziggler versus Bray Wyatt? I'd like to see Ziggler work his way into that match to be honest. Would definitely add an extra element of unpredictability. I love what you did with Rusev here, I personally think he's a great talent and I'd love to see him pushed somewhat. Where I'm at it's difficult because I feel like the title ties him down, yet you have to knock him down a peg to take it from him. You have the freedom so run with it. Definitely glad Cody Rhodes advanced over The Miz, the right move for sure. If Kidd wins King of the Ring I'll cream, just saying. Mahoosive World Heavyweight Championship match made here, and I think this could be a decent idea for Bryan to try creating a wedge between the two allies and using that to his advantage. Noooooo! Out in the first round... I'm disappointed. Kidd would have made a great King. Deep segment with AJ Lee and the Committee, loved the swerve with Kaitlyn too. Obvious victory for Luke Harper, but maybe Ziggler is getting too much exposure this episode, that's the third time he's appeared, with at least one more to come. Decent finish to the bout between Punk and Orton, with the latter standing tall with Batista. Shame to see Ryback knocked out so early, but makes sense to really push Rollins as he deserves. I'm curious to see where this "legend killer" style angle goes. I still need to get into your NXT, haven't read much yet, I will do though. No John Cena tonight? Probably missed what happened or forgot. Shame to see Ziggler lose, would have added a really interesting piece to the main event of KOTR. A great show in my opinion.

Raw
Strong Points
- Ziggler was booked well tonight, for me he come across as a big deal for the first time since he took the World title from Rhodes a few months back. Defying the committee, beating Kane, challenging Wyatt, helping King and then courageously battling Wyatt in the Main Event. Show was centred around Ziggler and it didn't disappoint, for me Ziggler has come out of this show on the verge of reaching the next level now.
- Tyson Kidd - Your imagination for Tyson's promo's are on point and even though Tyson is losing at the minute he's getting over strongly. Reigns beating Kidd would have also helped Reigns. You taking the slower approach of building Reigns is also working for me
- Cody Rhodes - Not sure if this is a genuine face turn yet, but looking forward to watching you book Rhodes in the KOTR tournament because I could see many options you can take this story.
- NXT Showcase match always good to see NXT get some love on the main show
Away from the strong points thought the Bryan/Ohn, Cesaro segment worked for the most part, there was a little something missing but I can't put my finger on it maybe it's because it's come out of nowhere. Decent follow up to Rollins attacking HBK last week, feel a little sorry for Ryback tonight was a set back for Ryback he could have been kept stronger especially with Rusev returning, Rusev's return was fine but them 10 guys are dead now you need to start replacing some of these guys with NXT call ups.
Overall I enjoyed Raw felt like the start of something bigger and with guys like Ziggler, Wyatt, Rhodes and Rollins on the verge of truly breaking out.
NXT
Night of debuts, some would probably argue there was to many but not me. I think in reality people would be more surprised with each one.
Tag Team division from having one real team now has 3 of the best teams in the world. Exciting times for the NXT Tag Team division. Baron Corbin beating Bo in 11 seconds makes Baron look like a star on his first night but doesn't do much for Bo, not sure if that's actually an issue - thinking about it. Haven't been able to get into the Enzo/Bennett story for some reason.
Like the idea of having a NXT match at SummerSlam also like the addition of Adrian Neville to the KOTR tournament. I would probably promote Neville to the main roster now.
Sasha Banks sis the new Womens Champ, as always you put great pride in your work with the women.
Ok the Main Event - I get the story you were trying to tell with Zayn and will it didn't pack as much as a punch as Zayn's actual road to the title I appreciated the attempt. I actually thought Zayn was going to fail again tonight so was shocked when he beat Cole. At that point being honest I felt like you had jumped the gun a little soon by putting the belt of Zayn but boy did you rectify that straight after!!
Kevin Owens attacks his former best friend and costs his best friend the NXT title. Tyler Breeze is the new NXT champ! Simple but genius booking. Now you get to have Zayn feud with Owens while building up Breeze as champion before Zayn goes back for the title. When Zayn finally gets his hands on the NXT title for the real it's now going to really mean something.
I know you've got things going on at the minute but battle through, find peace in your work and use yesterday and today's troubles to make tomorrow better.....And check out TNA77! Good work as always brother!

TakeOver is upon us. I've been waiting for this s***. The American Wolves and their open challenge kicking off the show was excellent. BAD INFLUENCE? YES! Ohmyword, no you didn't? Finn Balor and Hideo Itami? Mother of god. You've done well with the main roster tag team division, but this is ridiculous. Fantastic opener that I would love to see and the non finish makes sense. I am stoked for what is to come in the tag team division. I was actually planning on signing KENTA and Prince Devitt around WrestleMania 29 too. #Spoiler. I hate the name Bo Rotundo. He sounds like a fat kid. Baron Corbin being brought in now is intriguing for sure. The squash win was fine. Maybe it's time to move Bo Dallas to the main roster for a bit. Big statement for Corbin. NXT has a match at SummerSlam? Sweet. I wonder what it will be. Also, I think an announcement this big should have been done in the arena, but I can see you might be pressed for time with the loaded card. Fun little match for Enzo Amore and Michael Bennett. I wonder if Maria will become a permanent fixture with Enzo and Cass. I also hope to see Bennett stay relevant because he's a good dick heel. Ooh, NXT gets to air the first SummerSlam promo. Big win for Adrian Neville, glad to see him utilized well. I do still really enjoy the Sir Kenneth Cameron character and the alliance with William Regal is genius. A great look back at the history between Emma and Sasha Banks. Fun match and I'm so ing happy that the Boss is Champion. You already know my love for Sasha. Big moment. Rollins/Neville? Damn that's gonna be good. I like the links to the new themes. Sami Zayn and Adam Cole is a great main event, and it's weird to see a face Adam Cole. Tremendous main event and very glad to see Sami Zayn get his moment. KEVIN OWENS! YOU SONOFABITCH! Oh, Tyler Breeze you er! Wow. Instantly the number one, or two behind Owens, heel in NXT. Fantastic twist ending to the show. Seriously, the best NXT show you've ever done. You know I like a lot of what you've done and this is right up there among the best.

Yeah, yeah NXT... who gives a crap? I mean, I give a crap. Sort of. Well, this is a huge show so I am replying to it and showing my giveacraps. I really like the touch of Jim Ross being on commentary, amps up the importance. Holy hell, The Addiction! Well, Bad Influence, but same thing damn it! HOLY HELL, MORE WHAT THE WITH ITAMI AND BALOR! Welp, that gives us four huge debuts at the same time and a great way to kick things off with the NXT Tag Team Championship on the line. A double disqualification coming of this was good with The Addiction obviously wanting to get involved. Jesus, orgasmic three teams. Next, Bo Rotundo... well, Bo Dallas is a better name but whatever. I mean, I'm the guy still calling Daniel Bryan Bryan Danielson so where can I talk about some idiot like Bo? Baron Corbin squashing him was good. Eleven frigin' seconds, brah! Next up, I'M A CERTIFIED G! AND A BONA FIDE STUD AND YOU CAN'T TEACH THAT! ENZO WINS MARIA! ENZO WINS MARIA! HA HA HA HA HA. I bet he wants to bang that ass. Well, I mean, who doesn't? Great celebration for Enzo and Bennett is SAWFT. I mean, we already knew that, but I bet Maria's ass and other fun stuff are even sawfter. Har har har. Coming up next, a King of the Ring first round match. I liked the idea of NXT getting a shot in the King of the Ring and I really dig Adrian Neville getting the victory even though I don't expect him to make it past the next round of King of the Ring. Next up, the NXT Women's Championship is on the line and DA BOSS GETS THE WIN! Sasha is the new champ and I'm fine with that. I don't care for Emma, honestly. She's decently hot so. Finally, a grand main event with Sami Zayn getting the victory and capturing the NXT Championship! Kevin Owens is here, damn it, and he has... POWERBOMBERED SAMI ZAYN THAT SON OF A BITCH WHERE HAVE WE SEEN THIS BEFORE!? GOD DAMN IT! BAH GAWD, THAT SON OF A BITCH! HE KILLED 'EM! #JimRoss. Tyler Breeze just killed the whole entires how by cashing in the NXT Money in the Bank. I don't know what it is about Breeze, but I dont like him so that. But, it made sense. A very good NXT Takeover special event but Tyler Breeze.

I can't wait until Smackdown and why? Because of the fact that Smackdown has its main event for the King of the Ring pay per view with the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan defending his title against Paul Heyman Guys Cesaro and Ohno in a Triple Threat Match but also Bryan he doesn't even have to be pinned or even made to submit to lose his title he doesn't even have to be involved in the decision because either Cesaro could pin Ohno or Ohno could pin Cesaro and Bryan loses his title in either scenario
But Cesaro and Ohno are both Paul Heyman Guys and not to mention tag team partners as well as best friends so I can't see them turning on each other but there is gold on the line and I am sure both of them want to be champion and if they do then why not build up tension between Cesaro and Ohno? Why not build up dissension between these 2? If gold is on the line both of them will turn on each other in a heartbeat so how can Heyman stop his guys from turning on each other?
But we also can't forget about Derrick Bateman, Committee member and Mr. Money in the Bank he has that briefcase which he could still use to cash in on whoever the World Heavyweight Champion is or Bateman could cash in on whoever the WWE Champion is, either way Bateman is the future of this company and him having that briefcase him being backed by The Committee yes he is the future regardless, so I am sure he will be at Smackdown
Let's not forget the WWE Tag Team Champions Committee members Batista & Orton, in a sense even though they are both tag champs I am sure both of them want to be either WWE or World Heavyweight Champion and seeing as how Bateman is the future they are more or less irrelevant in a sense because think about it The Committee are grooming Bateman to be their guy much like how The Authority has groomed Rollins to be their guy in real life so in a sense Batista and Orton are taking a backseat to Bateman and really I am sure that can't sit too well with Batista and Ortonn because of their huge massive egos and not to mention as tag champs they won't last long and you wanna know why? Simple reason or FACT is is that Batista is a Hollywood movie star or he will be soon enough because doesn't Batista have Guardians of the Galaxy to shoot? Even though his movie comes out in your diary next year in August doesn't he have to leave WWE in order to shoot his movie since Guardians of the Galaxy is a Marvel movie so I can see Batista and Orton dropping their titles because of that and that is FACT
But I am sure The Committee will be on Smackdown considering they were on RAW so I wonder what more The Committee will do to hijack the show? Hell I am already sick of them to the point where I want them gone
As for Lesnar I can see him returning in your diary by SummerSlam and if he does there are so many superstars who Lesnar could have a feud with in this diary like Batista, Orton, Cena, Barrett a renewal of a rivalry, Punk a renewal of a rivalry, Cesaro if he turns babyface or Ohno if he turns babyface, Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Dean Ambrose, Ziggler even so many superstars to choose from
Whereas the COO Triple H as for who I could see Triple H feuding with in this diary:
1) Triple H/Wade Barrett feud, with Barrett feuding with The Committee targeting the COO, it would make sense because of the comparisons people make with Barrett and Triple H in the sense that Barrett could be compared to an Attitude Era version of Triple H because the similarities are there and not to mention Barrett vs Triple H is a dream feud
2) Triple H/CM Punk feud, a renewal of a rivalry from years back with Punk becoming a superstar that The Committee has a serious issue with namely the COO Triple H and with their heat/hatred of each other you could build this up better than their 2011 feud easily
3) Triple H/Roman Reigns feud, the present against the future, Reigns is pretty much the future of this company well he is being groomed to be the next face of the WWE in the sense that they are grooming him to be the next "Superman" much like how Cena is the face of this company you could have Reigns face the COO eventually and this feud would also be a dream feud
4) Triple H/Cena feud, a renewal of a rivalry from years back renewed years later, you know the history between Cena and Triple H need I say more
5) Triple H/Ryback feud, Triple H feuding with Big Hungry the Big Guy the Human Wrecking Ball Ryback, Ryback in your diary he has more or less been unstoppable beating almost everyone or everything that is put in his path and Triple H of course could decide that Ryback could be an asset to the Committee and Ryback of course turns the COO down which Triple H could take offense to and then you build the feud from there
6) Triple H/Ziggler feud, the wheels are already in motion

| BREAKING NEWS May 30th, 2013
Tonight (Thursday, May 30th), SmackDown will presented live from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on SyFy. Not in attendance, however, will be the WWE Chief Operating Officer, Triple H, as well as the Commissioner, Kane, leaving Stephanie McMahon as the only member of The Committee in power tonight. The reason for this is that earlier today, Triple H was notified that two men barged their way into WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, and vandalized his office. Hunter and Kane are currently heading to Stamford to deal with this ongoing situation.
The perpetrators? Two men who believe that 'The Game' is responsible for their 377 day reign as WWE Tag Team Champions ending under unfortunate circumstances, Wrestling Royalty. Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig, while not yet cleared to return to in-ring action, are back on their feet after suffering injuries at the hands of Randy Orton and Batista back in April and decided to take it upon themselves to send a message to Triple H and the entire Committee..
What will the repercussions be for Wrestling Royalty's actions? Along with that, what will happen tonight on a special live edition of SmackDown when Stephanie McMahon is the only authoritative member of The Committee in attendance?

DiBiase and Hennig sending a message to The Committee I like it no I really really do but I wonder where this leaves Stephanie? Not to worry Stephanie she has her other Committee members to help her out like Mr. Money in the Bank Derrick Bateman, J & J Security, and the WWE Tag Team Champions Batista & Orton so she shouldn't be worried at all

#BryanvsCesaro
| After the airing of the signature WWE intro, a brand new SmackDown opening was shown featuring "The Phoenix" by Fall Out Boy. Cutting to the arena in Edmonton, the commentary trio of Michael Cole, Josh Mathews and John Bradshaw Layfield welcomed everyone to a very special live Thursday edition of SmackDown! "We fight on Thursday nights, boys! And tonight, there's most certainly a big fight feel in the atmosphere!" said Bradshaw as a graphic was shown for tonight's main event. In a non-title match, Randy Orton and Batista will take on CM Punk and Wade Barrett! Plus, WWE Champion John Cena makes his return as he and Bray Wyatt will sign the contact for their match at King of the Ring. Speaking of King of the Ring, the remaining first round matches will take place tonight. Dean Ambrose takes on Damien Sandow, Rob Van Dam and Alberto Del Rio to battle, and Sheamus goes up against Erick Rowan. All that and more tonight on SmackDown!
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DANIEL BRYAN DEF. ANTONIO CESARO VIA DISQUALIFICATION IN A NON-TITLE MATCH: A huge way to kick off this live edition of SmackDown as the World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan, went up against one of the men who he will defend his title against at King of the Ring, Antonio Cesaro. The 'King of Swing' had Kassius Ohno, the other Triple Threat match participant, and his client, Paul Heyman, in his corner, though Bryan did not allow their presence to distract him. After delivering the Cesaro Swing, Cesaro attempted to hit a Neutralizer. Bryan, however, was able to counter the maneuver into a pinning predicament as Cesaro kicked out at two. Bryan then caught Cesaro during a Clothesline attempt, taking him down to the canvas and applying the Yes Lock! When it appeared that Cesaro was on the verge of submitting, Ohno slid into the ring and attacked Bryan, causing the disqualification finish.
The bell sounded as Kassius Ohno continued his assault on Daniel Bryan, stomping away on the World Heavyweight Champion. Antonio Cesaro was soon back on his feet as he joined in on the attack, Paul Heyman shouting marching orders at the two. Ohno whipped Bryan towards Cesaro, who delivered a Swiss Death Uppercut. The two then planted Bryan with their Crown of Thorns finisher, standing tall over him. Heyman stepped into the ring with the World Heavyweight Championships in his hands, raising it high in the air as he stood between his two clients. "But what if Cesaro and Ohno don't remain on the same page? Then what?" asked Michael Cole before John Bradshaw Layfield. "As much as I loathe Cesaro for what he did to God's Gifts, you would have to be an idiot to say that he and Ohno will not stay on the same page. These two men traveled up and down the road together for years, and with Paul Heyman in their corner, they can't be stopped. I guarantee that at King of the Ring, we will crown a new World Heavyweight Champion," said Bradshaw
Backstage, Renee Young was standing by with Natalya. When the daughter of 'The Anvil' stepped into the picture, Renee asked her for a response to what happened between herself and Tyson Kidd this past Monday on RAW. Natalya stated that she won't lie to herself. "Thing between us aren't exactly ideal right now, but all that the WWE Universe needs to know is that Tyson and I love each other dearly and nothing will change that. We're not going to air our dirty laundry on live television," said Natalya. Soon, Tyson Kidd stepped into the picture, grabbing his wife's arm. "Come on, Nattie. We're gonna go air our dirty laundry on live television," said Kidd angrily. Natalya looked horrified as Kidd continued on, the two heading out to the ring.
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #TysonKidd | A promo was shown for the WWE Network, launching on Monday, July 15th, immediately following RAW!
Returning to SmackDown on SyFy, the entrance music of Tyson Kidd hit to a mixed response from the fans in his home country. Kidd made his way down to the ring along with Natalya, who he held by her arm. Once in the ring, Kidd took a microphone as the confusion was clear on Natalya's face. "Take a look at this," said Kidd quickly as he looked up at the titantron. A picture from his wedding with Natalya was shown before he said that at the time, he believed that was the happiest day of his life. "I thought that at that moment, everything was fine. If I never made it any further in my career, I would be alright because I had the love of you, Nattie. Then, something suddenly went off in my brain and I realized that I can't be happy just being a married man. I need to be successful in the WWE. While you're thinking about our future together, I'm thinking about my future at the top of this company. And my cats, of course," said Kidd as Natalya stated that the cats are theirs, not just his. "Whatever. What I'm trying to say is that when I hang up my kickpads and decide to one day retire, I won't look back on our wedding as the happiest moment of my life and I will say that to your face right now. The happiest moment of my life will be the inevitable day when I become WWE or World Heavyweight Champion. With that being said, take a look at this picture now." After Kidd said that, a picture from this past Monday's edition of RAW was displayed on the titantron. In the image, Kidd was standing over Natalya, refusing to assist her after she was inadvertently knocked off of the ring apron. "The King of the Ring should have been mine. I should still be in the tournament. I should be going to the finals. And more importantly, I should be on my way to a championship match at SummerSlam. However, I'm not. And that's not at my fault or any of these people. It's yours," stated Kidd, getting closer to Natalya as he backed her into a corner. "Had it not been for you, I would be guaranteed a title opportunity at SummerSlam. I would solidify myself as the greatest product of the Hart family in history. Name ANY single person in your family, Nattie. I'm better than all of them. Bret. Davey. Your dad. They all have NOTHING on me! But, because of you, I no longer have the chance to prove that to the world. Give me one reason why I shouldn't walk out on you in front of all of these people," said Kidd as Natalya could be seen beginning to cry. "I'm sorry," said Natalya. "You're sorry? YOU'RE SORRY?! Fine. Prove it. Get on your knees right now and say that again," said Kidd. Natalya slowly did so, Michael Cole noting how humiliating this must be for her. After Natalya faintly apologized, Kidd yelled at her to say it again. "I'm sorry, Tyson. I'm sorry," she pleaded.
".......IF YA SMELL!!!!"
"You've gotta be kidding me!!" shouted Michael Cole as the roof nearly came off of the arena. Tyson Kidd turned to the stage with his eyes wide open as The Rock made his way out to the stage! "The 'Brahma Bull' is on SmackDown!!" said John Bradshaw Layfield. Rock marched down to the ring as he took his time to pose on the turnbuckles while Kidd stared at him in shock, still not letting Natalya get up to her feet. Rock took a microphone as the WWE Universe thunderously chanted his name. "What the hell are you do-" said Kidd before Rock put his hand in front of his face. "First thing's first, FINALLY....The Rock has come back to Edmonton!" After the crowd was done applauding, Rock continued on. "Secondly, you shut your mouth when they're chanting The Rock's name!" The "Rocky!" chants then continued as Rock glared at Natalya, who was still on her knees as Kidd wouldn't allow her to get back up. "Third, hello, Nattie. How've you been?" asked The Rock as he helped her to her feet. "You're looking great. Tell you what? Why don't you go the back, get your things and go home for the evening? This whole thing has gone on far too long. If you want, you can take The Rock's limo back to Calgary," said Rock, helping Natalya out of the ring while Kidd shouted at him. Natalya headed up the entrance ramp as Rock turned to her husband in the ring. "Tyson Kidd. The Rock's heard a lot about you. Oh yeah, he has. He's heard that you're one of the most underrated performers in the WWE today. The Rock has heard that you were the final graduate from Stu Hart's Dungeon. The Rock is not sure if that means that Stu was so ashamed by your performance that he shut the place down, but nonetheless, he's have heard great things about you. What The Rock didn't hear, however, is that you're a pathetic excuse for a man. Who the hell do you think you are?" asked Rock. "Who do I think I am? Rock, I think I'm-" "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE!" The audience erupted for Rock's signature phrase before the 'Great One' proceeded. "The Rock's point is that he has never been so disgusted by someone's actions. Tyson, that was your wife who you just humiliated on live television. The woman who you agreed to love and keep safe for the rest of your life, and you pull this kind of crap? Who cares if you lost your King of the Ring match? If you're truly as talented as you say you are, the championship opportunities will be in your future. But if you keep acting like the last piece of cat crap that you cleaned out of a litter, then your wife won't be in your future," stated Rock before Kidd interrupted. "Rock, why the hell do you care about my life? I don't need you or any of these people to tell me how I should live my life. What happens between Nattie and myself is our business and ours only. Stay out of it," said Kidd. "If it's just between the two of you, Tyson then keep it that way. There's no need for you to come out here, force your wife onto her knees and humiliate her in front of the entire WWE Universe. The Rock just came to SmackDown because this is his house that he built and he wanted to enjoy a show for the ages. But the second that you tried to pull this stunt, that's where The Rock decided to draw the line and step in because he would hate to see your attitude be the reason that you never reach your full potential. And since The Rock's words don't seem to be affecting you, maybe this will," said Rock before grabbing Kidd and delivering Rock Bottom! The WWE Universe went wild as Rock picked up his microphone while staring at Kidd's carcass. "And one more thing. IF YA SMELL......WHAT THE ROCK.....IS......COOKING!" Rock threw the microphone down as he posed one more time for the audience after getting physical to make sure that Tyson Kidd received his message loud and clear.
Backstage, Dean Ambrose was shown walking down a corridor. The 'Lunatic Fringe' is back on a temporary contract, but if he can win the King of the Ring tournament, he will be reinstated! He meets Damien Sandow in a first round match, next!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #AmbroevsSandow | Returning to Live SmackDown on SyFy, a recap of the previous segment was shown as The Rock made a shocking appearance for the first time since WrestleMania XXIX to confront Tyson Kidd about his actions as of late. The 'Brahma Bull' ultimately delivered Rock Bottom to Kidd, making sure that his was message was sent.
DEAN AMBROSE DEF. DAMIEN SANDOW IN A KING OF THE RING FIRST ROUND MATCH: Dean Ambrose's first match in the WWE ever since he was fired by Triple H a number of weeks ago. If Ambrose manages to win the King of the Ring tournament, he will be reinstated by The Committee. The 'Lunatic Fringe' took the first step towards retribution after hitting Damien Sandow with a Knee Trembler to pick up the victory.
The WWE Universe popped as Dean Ambrose stood to his feet, getting the victory in his first round match in the King of the Ring tournament. The updated bracket for the tournament was shown, Ambrose being placed in the Quarter Finals. "Dean Ambrose is just three victories away from The Committee being forced to reinstate him," said Michael Cole on commentary as the 'Lunatic Fringe' made his way up the entrance ramp.
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #SheamusvsRowan | Returning from the commercial break, Dean Ambrose was shown walking towards the locker room area when he was approached by Renee Young, who asked for his thoughts after advancing to the Quarter-Finals of the King of the Ring tournament. "I think that Triple H and The Committee need to restore my contract from whatever garbage bin they threw it in because it's only a matter of time before I win this thing, get my job back and proceed to make life for hell for all of those corporate puppets," said Ambrose as Renee slowly backed away. When Ambrose turned around, he was met by Stephanie McMahon, Randy Orton, Batista and a number of security guards. "So, if Triple H's office didn't get dismantled by Wrestling Royalty, would you have all of these guards with you? Or are they protecting Orton and Batista? I don't really understand it," said Ambrose. "Actually, Dean, they're here to escort you out of the arena. You already competed here tonight and have no other reason to be in the vicinity, and I would hate for anything bad to happen to you if you were to try and help CM Punk and Wade Barrett in the main event," said Stephanie. Ambrose complied as he allowed the guards to take him out of the arena, but not without smiling at Stephanie, Orton and Batista.
Back in the arena, Michael Cole briefly addressed what Dean Ambrose mentioned just now. "Triple H and the WWE Commissioner, Kane, are not here tonight because they were informed that earlier in the day, Wrestling Royalty barged into WWE Headquarters and vandalized the office of 'The Game.' This was apparently due to the manner in which Wrestling Royalty lost the WWE Tag Team Championships, which they've placed the blame on The Committee," said Cole. "Joe Hennig and Ted DiBiase are criminals! When are they going to realize that they only have themselves to blame for losing the Tag Team Titles!? To have the audacity to not only blame our COO, Triple H, but to trash his office in Stamford?! I hope that those two are thrown in jail because that's where they should be!" said the irate John Bradshaw Layfield.
ERICK ROWAN DEF. SHEAMUS IN A KING OF THE RING FIRST ROUND MATCH: One of the more physical King of the Ring matches thus far as the two powerhouses, Sheamus and Erick Rowan, battled it out. After the 'Celtic Warrior' delivered an impressive Powerslam, he backed against a corner as he began to beat his chest repeatedly, looking to hit a Brogue Kick. Suddenly, the signature of The Wyatt Family hit as Luke Harper was shown standing on the ring apron when the lights came back on. Sheamus charged into Harper, knocking him off of the apron. When Sheamus turned around, Rowan delivered a Spinning Kick. With Sheamus laid out on the canvas, Rowan finished him off with a Running Splash to pick up the victory.
Boos emerged from the Edmonton audience as Erick Rowan got to his feet, managing to defeat Sheamus to advance to the Quarter-Finals in the King of the Ring tournament. The bracket was then shown as we now know that next Monday on RAW, Rowan will take on Dean Ambrose in a Quarter-Finals match. Returning to the live feed, Rowan and Harper were shown standing tall as the signature of The Wyatt Family hit once again. This time, Bray Wyatt appeared in the ring as he stared down at Sheamus. Wyatt picked up the body of the 'Celtic Warrior,' kissing his forehead before delivering Sister Abigail. Wyatt got to his feet as Harper kicked Sheamus out of the ring. All three Wyatt Family members remained in the ring as the contract signing between Bray Wyatt and the WWE Champion, John Cena, would be taking place, next on SmackDown!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #ContractSigning | Returning to the live Thursday edition of SmackDown, The Wyatt Family was shown in the ring as Bray Wyatt sat in his rocking chair at the table that was set up for the contract signing that was about to take place. A few seconds later, the entrance music of John Cena hit to a mixed response from the audience here in Edmonton. The WWE Champion made his way out to the stage, appearing in front of the WWE Universe for the first time since Extreme Rules nearly two weeks ago. Cena stared at Wyatt from a distance, prepared to confront the man who will attempt to take the WWE Championship from him at King of the Ring. Cena ran into the ring, placing the title on the table before taking a seat. Michael Cole, who was given the task of overseeing the signing, reminded both men that The Committee has requested that order be kept between the two. "Order. Now what would make anyone think that I am subject to order? Growing up with the life that I had, defying orders was the only means of survival. But not you, John. Not you at all. You're the ideal company man. The bosses want you to sign some autographs and take some pictures? You say yes. You're asked to take the time to grant a young one their final wish? You say yes. You gave these people something to believe in, John! They needed a hero to look up to? There you were, ready to serve them. But here's the thing. You're nothing more than a false prophet. You do everything that I do, only without a real message. You tell these people that you're their hero. That you'll vanquish all of your foes and stand atop the mountain! That's a lie, John. That is a lie because at King of the Ring, you will fall at the feet of the one true great being! The only living entity in the world who accomplishes what you fail to! You don't have the power at your hands! I do! I have always had hopes to save as many souls as I can, but John, I don't want to save you. I want to watch you burn! When Bray Wyatt says that he's got the whole world in his hands, he is speaking the truth! These people no longer live as part of the Cenation! And that is because they all looked up to the sky and followed the buzzards! They will watch as your ashes become nothing more than pavement on the concrete in hell! The number of the beast is not 666! 616 is the day that I take every bit of power that you don't deserve! The day that I become WWE Champion and watch you parish!" Wyatt threw the microphone down as he took the pen, signing the contract before staring at Cena, grinning and laughing at him. Cena took the other microphone, telling Wyatt that he can speak as much gibberish as he wants, but it's not going to change a thing. "In the eleven years that I been in the WWE, I can honestly say that I have never encountered someone like you, Bray. Whether you want to refer to yourself as a man or a monster, I don't care. You're dangerous and I'm aware of that. With that being said, you don't scare me. And maybe I should be. You brainwashed Kane. You beat Triple H. Hell, you pinned me at Battleground. And just a few weeks ago, you buried The Undertaker alive. You are more than deserving of a WWE Championship match based on your accomplishments alone, but if this were about character and morality, you wouldn't be anywhere near this title. I can see that your words are somehow inspiring some members of the WWE Universe and I fear for what could happen if you were to take control of everyone out there. And if you have this championship, that makes you even more powerful than you already. I can't allow that to happen. I won't allow it. At King of the Ring in Chicago, you're stepping into this ring for the fight of your life and with every bit of resiliency that I have in my body, I will do whatever it takes to make sure that I stop you before you become so powerful that no one else will be able to." Cena then signed the contract, making their title match official. Wyatt then began laughing, telling Cena that the end is near for him. "For everything that you've ever built. For every accomplish that you have to your name. For everything that you stand for......it's all going to come to an end." The Wyatt Family's signature then hit one more time, Wyatt, Rowan and Harper all vanishing from the scene. John Cena remained in the ring by himself, holding the WWE Championship that is in jeopardy come King of the Ring on June 16th.

| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #RusevvsKofi | Returning to SmackDown, the focus was placed on the commentary trio as Michael Cole stated that prior to the start of the show, he conducted a sit-down interview with one of the participants in the King of the Ring tournament. The man who won it all last year, Cody Rhodes. We then cut to the interview, Cole beginning by thanking Rhodes for his time. "Cody, you came out of last year's King of the Ring tournament victorious and went on to become World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam. If you prevail once again, will you set your sights back on the World Title, or attempt to become WWE Champion for the first time in your career?" asked Cole. "That is something that I've asked myself, but I really want to focus on winning King of the Ring before I think about making any decisions regarding the aftermath. The difference between last year and this year is the field is much bigger. Guys in it this year are hungry. Rollins and Reigns all want to prove that they're the future. Adrian Neville has the chance to make history. Dean Ambrose is fighting for his career on top of everything else. I'm facing Luke Harper in the Quarter Finals. I have my work cut out for me and I know it," stated Rhodes. Cole then asked Rhodes about his apparent change of heart recently. "After WrestleMania, you apologized to Kurt Angle for attempting to end his career. And ever since then, you've seemed to have taken on a new attitude, but there are those in the WWE Universe who don't believe it. They don't buy the possibility of 2012's most heinous superstar suddenly having a change of heart," said Cole. "They have every reason to believe that I'm not genuine. You know what changed in me, Michael?" asked Rhodes before pulling out his wallet, showing the camera a picture from his wedding just a few weeks ago to ring announcer, Eden. "This woman changed my life. She made me realize all of the things that I had forgotten about when I became obsessed with the World Heavyweight Championship. I'm fighting now for the same reasons that Kurt Angle was, and at Survivor Series, I tried to take that away from him. I tried to take away the career that put food on his family's table, and I understand that now. If someone tried to do the same to me, I would make their life hell. If the WWE Universe doesn't want to accept me because of my past actions, that's fine. I get it, but I am a changed man. I'm not a changed competitor, though. I am still as determined to succeed as I was before, but I'm not approaching the squared circle with hatred anymore. I'm simply here to be the best and support my family. And King of the Ring provides that opportunity. Mark my words. I will repeat this year and I will once again become champion at SummerSlam," said Rhodes to conclude the interview.
RUSEV DEF. KOFI KINGSTON: This past Monday on RAW, Rusev made his return to WWE, stepping foot into a ring for the firs time since WrestleMania XXIX and asserting his dominance by laying out ten superstars. One of those men, Kofi Kingston, was looking for revenge by handing Rusev his first pinfall defeat. As Kofi was leaping off of the top rope with a Crossbody, Rusev caught him with a kick to his chest. Kofi fell onto the canvas as Rusev applied the Accolade, gaining the victory via submission.
Despite the bell being sounded repeatedly, Rusev did not release the Accolade until Lana gave him the order to do so. Rusev and Lana then stood tall over Kofi Kingston's motionless body, the Russian flag dropping from the ceiling. "Rusev is back and the WWE locker room needs to be aware of that," said Michael Cole.
At this time, a video package was shown for Adrian Neville, the NXT superstar who advanced to the Quarter Finals of the King of the Ring tournament with a victory over Sir Kenneth Cameron at NXT TakeOver just twenty-four hours ago. The 'Man That Gravity Forgot' will make his RAW debut next Monday night, but advancing once again will not be an easy task. After the completion of the video, Matt Striker was shown standing by with the man who Neville will take on, the Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins. Rollins stepped into the picture as he was asked for his thoughts about his match next Monday on RAW against Neville. "Adrian Neville. 'The Man That Gravity Forgot.' You know what didn't forget Neville, though? Reality. Because the reality is that someone just coming out of NXT stands no chance against the greatest professional wrestler in the world today. The man who is on his way to becoming the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all-time. The man who laid out Shawn Michaels! The King of the Ring tournament is mine for the taking and Adrian Neville is simply my next victim on my way to the throne," said Rollins before leaving the scene.

| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #AJLee | Returning to the arena in Edmonton, the entrance music of AJ Lee hit as the Divas Champion made her way out to a great response from the WWE Universe. As she skipped down to the ring, a recap from this past Monday's edition of RAW was shown as Kaitlyn turned her back on AJ in favor of Stephanie McMahon and The Committee. AJ will have her opportunity at revenge when she defends the Divas Title against Kaitlyn at King of the Ring. Tonight, however, AJ had a few things to get off of her chest as she took a microphone before entering the ring. "I stand here tonight with my body and heart shattered, but in actuality, I probably deserve all of this. I deserved to be betrayed by my best friend on RAW this past week, just like I deserved to have my career and life put in jeopardy against Paige. I'll be the first to admit that I gave into Stephanie McMahon's lies because I wanted nothing more than to become the Divas Champion. After failing at WrestleMania, there was no way that I was going to fail against in England. So when Stephanie and Kaitlyn approached me with the idea of screwing Paige over and taking this title away from her, I instantly joined them without any hesitation. And right before I knew it, I was the one with the knife in my back. I don't know if that was their plan all along, but I don't care because it's going to backfire on them. Even if I became Divas Champion through controversial means, no one can take away the fact that I worked harder than anyone else for this title. Look at the past few women who have held this title. Paige can claim that she faced hardships as well, but she was born into this business. She had opportunities handed to her. And before Paige, there was Eve Torres. A woman who never had any aspirations to become a pro wrestler, but ended up here because of her looks and her body. The same goes for Kaitlyn. The only difference is that my old 'bestie' is not going to become champion. She's going to have to finish what Paige started at Extreme Rules and kill me in order for that to happen. I'm a woman now with no friends. No allies. There is nothing to my name other than the Divas Championship and I don't plan on losing it any time soon. Kaitlyn, you were my best friend. I would even say that I loved you. But, it's clear that you're in this industry for all of the wrong reasons. You have no heart. No integrity. No dignity and the proof lies in the fact that you stand by Stephanie McMahon's side. What happens at King of the Ring is going to hurt me just as much as it will hurt you. Some people say I'm crazy and maybe they're right. But you know what else I am? Champion, and Kaitlyn, you're not going to change that. No one in The Committee will." AJ Lee threw her microphone onto the canvas before leaving the ring, holding the Divas Title above her head to a positive response. With no allies anymore, AJ puts it all on the line at King of the Ring against the woman who betrayed her, Kaitlyn.
Backstage, WWE Champion, John Cena, was shown leaving the arena after engaging in a chilling confrontation with Bray Wyatt earlier in the evening during their contract signing. Suddenly, Cena was approached by Derrick Bateman, whose wheelchair was pushed by Jamie Noble while Joey Mercury carried his Money in the Bank briefcase. "Let me make something clear, Cena. You probably think that just because I'm bound to this wheelchair, you don't have to worry about me cashing-in Money in the Bank. You should know, however, that I'm an incredibly fast healer. I'll be out of this chair any day now and you'll once again have to be looking over your shoulder at every moment. Doctors say I'll be 100% by King of the Ring, so if you somehow beat Bray Wyatt, I could be right there with my briefcase. Any point after, I could be there, too. As long as I have this briefcase, Cena, you're not safe," said Bateman before he and J&J Security left the scene, John Cena staring them down.
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. In a non-title match, WWE Tag Team Champions Randy Orton and Batista takes on CM Punk and Wade Barrett! That match is still to come later tonight on SmackDown!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #RVDvsDelRio | Returning from the commercial break, Divas Champion AJ Lee was shown walking down a hallway when she was met by her former Committee ally, Stephanie McMahon. "Here's the thing, AJ. There is a logical explanation for what happened on RAW, but it's not worth my time explaining it to you. You would never understand because you follow your heart, not what is best for business. You know what else is best for business? Randy Orton and Batista walking away tonight with a victory, and I won't allow you to try and prevent that. Not like you would be able to anyway, but considering your mental state, I can't trust having you in my building," said Stephanie as security guards approached AJ, escorting the Divas Champion out of the arena just like Dean Ambrose was earlier in the evening. "AJ's gone. Ambrose is gone. CM Punk and Wade Barrett have no one by their side to save them tonight," said John Bradshaw Layfield on commentary.
ALBERTO DEL RIO DEF. ROB VAN DAM IN A KING OF THE RING FIRST ROUND MATCH: The final first round match in the King of the Ring tournament saw Rob Van Dam and Alberto Del Rio not only attempt to advance, but get their careers back on track. As Rob Van Dam was delivering the Five Star Frog Splash, Del Rio got his knees up in time. Van Dam held his ribs as Del Rio quickly applied the Cross Armbreaker, the 'Whole F'n Show' trying to fight his way to the ropes. Del Rio brought Van Dam back into the center of the ring and reapplied the maneuver, forcing Van Dam to submit.
The Edmonton audience booed Alberto Del Rio as he stood to his feet following his submission victory, the updated bracket being shown as the Quarter Finals are now set. This Monday on RAW, Alberto Del Rio goes up against the United States Champion, Roman Reigns. Cody Rhodes battles Luke Harper. The other Wyatt Family member, Erick Rowan, takes on Dean Ambrose. And the Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins, goes one-on-one with the young upstart from NXT, Adrian Neville. Who will advance to the Semi Final matches taking place at King of the Ring on June 16th?
Backstage, CM Punk and Wade Barrett were shown walking down to the ring. They meet Randy Orton and Batista in a non-title match, next on SmackDown!

| COMMERCIAL BREAK
| #AntiCommittee | A promo was shown for King of the Ring, live Sunday June 16th, only on Pay-Per-View!
CM PUNK & WADE BARRETT DEF. WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS RANDY ORTON & BATISTA IN A NON-TITLE MATCH: A huge match up to close out tonight's special live Thursday edition of SmackDown. With Stephanie McMahon, Derrick Bateman and J&J Security at ringside, the deck seemed to be stacked against CM Punk and Wade Barrett, especially considering that other anti-Committee names such as Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose and Divas Champion AJ Lee were all absent. After Barrett and Batista got into a brawl that spilled to ringside, Orton began gearing up for the RKO to Punk. As he was attempting it, Punk countered the maneuver and caught Orton with a backslide roll-up to pick up the victory!
The WWE Universe erupted as Randy Orton was shocked at the result, the 'Viper' being pinned by CM Punk! "Punk and Barrett just defeated the WWE Tag Team Champions!" said Michael Cole on commentary. Punk was not allowed any time to celebrate, however, as Orton attacked him from behind. Wade Barrett tried to intervene, but he was assaulted by Batista, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble. It was a four-on-one beat down as Stephanie McMahon stepped into the ring, rooting on The Committee. Batista planted Barrett with a Spinebuster as Orton continued to strike away on Punk. "End their careers! Make them pay!" shouted Stephanie as the audience booed relentlessly. Suddenly, the boos turned to massive cheers as the entrance music of Paige hit. Stephanie's eyes opened wide as she and the rest of The Committee looked to the stage. Seconds later, Paige made her way out into the arena with the barbed wire baseball bat in her hands! "For the first time since Extreme Rules, Paige is here!" said Cole on commentary as the crowd continued to go wild. Paige marched down to the ring as Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury quickly took Derrick Bateman and wheeled him away from the entrance ramp. The 'Anti Diva' stepped into the ring as Punk and Barrett got back to their feet, taking Orton and Batista out of the ring. Stephanie was then the only Committee member remaining in the ring with Punk, Barrett and a barbed wire bat wielding Paige surrounding her! The WWE Universe chanted "Yes!" repeatedly as Paige handed the bat over to Punk, who stood on the ring apron to prevent anyone from getting into the ring. Barrett joined Punk as Paige was left all alone with the woman who has attempted to derail her career. "Triple H isn't here! Kane isn't here! The Committee are being kept at bay! It's just Paige and Stephanie now!" said Cole. Stephanie attempted to turn around and run away, but the 'Anti Diva' got a hold of her hair! Paige turned Stephanie around, telling her something that was inaudible. She then placed Stephanie in position for Rampaige as the crowd came unglued! "No! That is one of the principal owners of this company!" shouted Bradshaw. Seconds later, Paige planted Stephanie with Rampaige! "The 'Billion Dollar Princess' has been laid out by Paige!" said Josh Mathews as the response was deafening. Orton, Batista, Bateman, Noble and Mercury watched in horror as Punk, Barrett and Paige stood tall in the ring over the motionless body of Stephanie McMahon.

- Daniel Bryan the World Heavyweight Champion beats one half of the #1 Contenders for his title by beating Cesaro while his tag team partner Ohno looks on causing the DQ, if I were Cesaro I would have been pissed that Ohno interfered in my match because Ohno cost Cesaro the match just now but instead Ohno and Cesaro attack Bryan right after the match leaving him laying, it seems that Paul Heyman's guys are on the same page for now but will they be come King of the Ring? Because one of them only one of them can be World Heavyweight Champion and nothing like gold coming between tag team partners has the ability to break them apart
- Natalya and Tyson Kidd it appears their marriage is deteriorating for everybody to see as they air their laundry on TV but cue The Rock showing up, The Rock of all people with a surprise appearance in Edmonton, I would have never have called this at all and Rock pretty much putting Tyson Kidd in his place putting him on blast giving him a Rock Bottom if anyone deserves it it is Tyson Kidd but at the same time if anyone is to blame for Tyson's troubles it is his own damn self
- But I do wonder if this was just a one-off appearance for The Rock or if he will actually stick around? I would love for The Rock to cross paths with The Committee namely Rock feuding with the COO Triple H or Rock facing either Orton or Batista or Bateman even or I would love to see Rock vs Brock
- Dean Ambrose moves on in the King of the Ring tournament beating Sandow, Ambrose is all that much closer to the King of the Ring trophy, all he has to do is win like 2 more matches and he gets his job back but also he gets to be the next #1 Contender to either the World Heavyweight Championship or the WWE Championship and he can rub the Committee's nose in it
- Ambrose being carted off by security right after his match makes sense, it was only a matter of time before Stephanie and The Committee would show up and right on cue they do but Ambrose I can see him somehow finding his way back into the building
- Stephanie addressing the former WWE Tag Team Champions Wrestling Royalty DiBiase & Hennig, well you do know she was bound to but at the same time DiBiase & Hennig made an impact they made a statement with what they did by trashing Triple H's office in Stamford, Connecticut at the WWE Headquarters up at Titan Towers, DiBiase & Hennig are Anti-Authority all the way and I love it
- Erick Rowan beating Sheamus to advance in the King of the Ring tournament I would have never have seen this or foreseen this at all and why? Because I just can't see Rowan in the tournament let alone going far but he actually manages to beat Sheamus a former WWE/World Heavyweight Champion here in your diary not only beats him but at the same time not doing it cleanly let's face it Rowan would have never have won this match had it not been for Harper's interference but Sheamus had the match won but at the same time I wonder who Rowan will face?
- The Wyatt Family then afterwards attacking Sheamus with Bray Wyatt the patriarch putting the exclamation point on the attack hitting Sister Abigail on Sheamus, direct message sent to Cena
- Wyatt addressing Cena and Cena addressing him back, yes their match for the WWE Championship at King of the Ring will certainly be something, Wyatt vs Cena First Time Ever, and considering the tear Wyatt has been on the names already that he's beaten into submission or put away like Kane, Triple H, The Undertaker, The Rock, Ric Flair, etc. Wyatt is as dangerous as any superstar there is in the WWE right now, could you imagine him as WWE Champion? I know I could and Cena quite frankly is in for the fight of his life here against a monster especially a monster as twisted and as depraved as Bray Wyatt
- Rhodes seemed genuine in his promo here, his reformed act I don't really buy but it remains to be seen at this point, Rhodes wants to be "King" again he wants to win the King of the Ring and become champion again I get it but he has to go through either Ambrose, Rollins, Rowan, Harper, Del Rio, RVD and Neville if he really wants it that badly
- Rusev I wonder if you are building him back up to have an undefeated streak? If you are then you really can't because Rusev can't even be considered undefeated anymore and why? Because he lost at WrestleMania 29 in your diary to Ryback so, but Rusev in his return he actually manages to beat Kofi, I wonder if this is the start of Rusev's push as a monster heel in your diary? If it is then great
- Rollins addressing Adrian Neville, the WWE Intercontinental Champion Rollins seems confident as he should be and he continues to prove himself not only as WWE Intercontinental Champion but proving himself to be the future of this business especially given what he did to Michaels, Neville has no idea who he is getting into the ring with
- AJ Lee the WWE Divas Champion in order to hold on to her title she is going to have to do anything and everything to make sure that Kaitlyn doesn't beat her for her title but Kaitlyn has the power of The Committee behind her she has Stephanie's support 100% which means we could be looking at a new WWE Divas Champion but AJ she is now a lone wolf just how I like her to be and here is hoping she beats Kaitlyn at King of the Ring to retain
- Mr. Money in the Bank and Committee member Derrick Bateman w/ J & J Security with him as they come face to face with the WWE Champion John Cena and Bateman putting Cena on notice that should he beat Bray Wyatt somehow that nothing will stop him from cashing in his briefcase on Cena, well Cena he has had Money in the Bank cashed in on him before so Cena knows all about Money in the Bank so Cena he should have eyes in the back of his head because we'll never know Bateman could cash in at any place at any time
- And in the main event, CM Punk and Wade Barrett again teaming with each other to beat Orton & Batista the WWE Tag Team Champions I wonder if this means Punk & Barrett are now a tag team? I wonder if this means Punk and Barrett get a WWE Tag Team Championship match at King of the Ring facing Orton & Batista? Just when The Committee are attacking both Punk and Batista here comes Paige with the save barbed wire baseball bat in hand as Orton and Batista and Bateman and Noble and Mercury all get out of dodge as Stephanie is left all alone with Punk, Barrett and Paige and Stephanie is left laying with Paige hitting the RamPaige on Stephanie, the COO Triple H is not going to be happy about this one bit I can see Triple H dishing out consequences when he gets to RAW this Monday, I can see Triple H himself directly dealing with Paige because of what she did to his wife and Triple H also punishing Punk and Barrett either way The Committee will have the last laugh

- 17 more days until King of the Ring, 17 more days until the King of the Ring PPV and the brackets look like:
Rollins vs Neville Rhodes vs Harper Rowan vs Ambrose Reigns vs Del Rio
But as for my semi-final brackets:
Rollins vs Rhodes Ambrose vs Reigns
But as for the 2013 King of the Ring Final it will either be Rhodes vs Ambrose or Rollins vs Ambrose, either way I can see Ambrose in the final and why? Because his job is on the line and that is why for that simple reason it is a must-win but I see this tournament setting up a heel turn for either Cody Rhodes to turn heel all over again or Reigns to turn heel

Oh word? Smackdown is live? I'm down. The Phoenix is a badass song for the intro, I love it, being a Fall Out Boy fan. The show looks stacked. Awesome opener as I've seen Daniel Bryan vs. Cesaro in real life before and they can deliver. Ending this in a disqualification was the right way to go and I'm totally pumped for the Triple Threat match. I appreciate JBL still hating Cesaro for the God's Gift stuff. Tyson Kidd humiliating Natalya is like, the ultimate dick heel move. I love it. HOLY POOP! THE ROCK? Cool to have him there on a big Smackdown, since it is his show. Great segment and the cat liter comment was right up Rock's alley. Well done. Great to see Dean Ambrose advance, but with the stipulation about his job being on the line, I fully expect him to at least make the Finals. Renee Young interviewing Ambrose always makes me smile. That was weird to say wasn't it? Pretty surprising to see Erick Rowan beat Sheamus but I dig it. Could be a huge night for the Wyatt Family at King of the Ring huh? I really liked the contract signing and you continue to have Bray Wyatt perfectly written. Ending it with them vanishing was a wise way to avoid the usual brawl to end these things. The Cody Rhodes interview was awesome and I loved that Eden was the catalyst for Cody's change. Rusev over Kofi Kingston is expected. Wise call for the Adrian Neville video package. Great AJ Lee promo and I totally smell AJ/Stephanie somewhere down the line. I wanna say WrestleMania but that might be too far off so maybe SummerSlam. I enjoyed the Derrick Bateman/John Cena interaction. I also like the idea of the Committee kicking out the faces. I smell bad things in the main event. Alberto Del Rio advancing is sweet. The Quarter Finals are looking great too. I didn't expect CM Punk and Wade Barrett to win, but the backslide worked. Maybe they get a Tag Title shot at King of the Ring. Whoa. I've been waiting for Paige to return! The RamPaige to Stephanie is a huge deal and I can't even imagine what's coming next. Awesome show as always man.

- It was first reported on TMZ’s website that Spike TV will not be renewing Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s contract in September, thus cancelling Impact Wrestling. The news hit the internet just hours before TNA presented Slammiversary on Pay-Per-View, leading to less-than flattering crowd reactions. Chants of, “You got cancelled” and “Fire Russo” broke out in the arena, which Dixie Carter and TNA officials were said to be irate over. The morale was incredibly low backstage among the talent, though according to some, the news was not entirely surprising. The troubles within TNA Wrestling have been made apparent over the last year or so, dating back to the departure of one of the company’s premier superstars, Kurt Angle, who re-signed with WWE in the Summer of 2012. Following Angle’s exit, several other notable stars such as Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles, Team 3D and Bad Influence all did the same, the latter two jumping to the WWE and making their debuts on NXT just a few days ago. It doesn’t help the company’s image when you factor in the rumors of Hulk Hogan and Sting showing little to no interest in renewing their own contracts that are up in just a few weeks. Dixie Carter will begin negotiations for Impact Wrestling to find a home on a new network, but if she is unable to secure a deal between now and September, it is very possible that the doors of TNA Wrestling will shut after eleven years of existence.
- With the WWE Network launching on July 15th, Payback, which will be held the night before from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, will be the final event from WWE that will be exclusive to Pay-Per-View. Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, who has been confirmed to have legitimate sources within WWE, reported that a massive and "controversial" match is scheduled for Payback as a way to attract customers who are currently planning on waiting until the event is available to stream on the WWE Network in August to watch it. While there is no word on exactly what the match is, he described it as “WrestleMania worthy.”
- With the recent signing of talents such as Kevin Steen, KENTA and Prince Devitt, who all made their debuts this past week at NXT TakeOver, we are now learning that there were a few other names who received contract offers, or tryouts invitations at the very least, but turned them down. Matt and Nick Jackson, better known as The Young Bucks, were offered developmental deals around the same time that Steen, KENTA and Devitt were, but the duo turned the offer down. New Japan Pro Wrestling stars Kazuchika Okada and Shinsuke Nakamura were both invited to attend a tryout camp in Orlando, but declined as both are happy with their roles in NJPW and have no interest in relocating to the United States.
- Adrian Neville’s WWE.com profile has been moved from the NXT section to the main roster section, indicating that the ‘Man That Gravity Forgot’ has officially been called up. Neville will make his Monday Night RAW debut tonight against the Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins, in a King of the Ring Quarter-Finals match. Other Quarter-Final matches include Dean Ambrose vs. Erick Rowan, Cody Rhodes vs. Luke Harper, and United States Champion Roman Reigns vs. Alberto Del Rio
