WWE Friday Night SmackDown I love how no matter how lazy I get, this is always constantly updated. I've missed quite a bit since No Way Out, so let's get to it. Loved the Cesaro promo to kick off the show. Awesome way to start things for the night. Ironically, searching the crowd for illegal aliens reminds me of a promo Del Rio did once. Nice win for Sheamus over Tensai, liked Cole taking the Brogue Kick after the match too. Cesaro being arrested D: Decent win for Ryback over Mason Ryan. The highlight was the aftermath with Kane, and Ryback walking off the chokeslam like a champ. That was great, hopefully Ryback wins at TLC. Enjoyed the segment between Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose, especially the lines from Ambrose. I got a kick out of the sword battle with the chairs, looking forward to their match at TLC. Alberto Del Rio getting the win over Drew McIntyre, liking the face turn. Del Rio has needed some freshening up for a really long time. Hopefully Drew gets to do something sometime though, a lot of untapped potential. I like the idea of an alliance between Cody Rhodes and the WWE Tag Team Champions. Fantastic main event between Orton and DiBiase. Tons of action and drama, like a main event should have every week. McGillicutty and DiBiase against Orton and Jericho at TLC is great, but I'm looking forward to Cody's title win at SummerSlam. ;) Finally, a shocking segment to close the show. Wasn't expecting Rey Mysterio to retire anytime soon, but I do love the idea of a final match against Sin Cara at SummerSlam. Overall, it was a good show with solid build for TLC and SummerSlam. Good job.

Smackdown Review
- I was definitely not expecting Rey to retire but now that he is, I really do hope he goes out with a bang but personally I feel that Rey's last match should have been at WrestleMania 29 in your diary but since he is retiring at SummerSlam 2012, if he faces Sin Cara at SummerSlam, then I know him and Cara will tear the house down but also Rey in a way he is passing the torch to Cara in terms of Cara being the new masked luchadore superhero of the WWE, but was not expecting Sin Cara to speak English but now that he can, I hope we can hear Sin Cara speak more English as time goes on
- Orton and DiBiase's main event I honestly loved but love how it all ends with the announcement of Randy Orton and Chris Jericho facing the team of Mcgillicutty and DiBiase at TLC, but I fully expect Rhodes to get involved at TLC but if he doesn't, I can see a Chris Jericho heel turn coming with him turning on Orton
- Loving Del Rio's face turn as of late, and he beat McIntyre in what I thought was a great match but I feel McIntyre has too much potential and that potential has been untapped because he is the Chosen One for crying out loud and it is about time McIntyre lives up to that moniker and what could get McIntyre back on the map in a big way would be him attacking a major face and putting them on the shelf
- Sheamus finally getting his revenge on both Tensai and Cole by beating Tensai and then after the match lays Michael Cole with a Brogue Kick, that was a laugh-out loud moment and I am glad that Sheamus put Cole out of his misery and now Cole can finally shut his mouth
- Cesaro being arrested was another funny moment
- And Ryback gets up almost immediately after being chokeslammed by Kane, that was awesome and him walking it off like a champ but I hope Kane realizes just how much of a freak Ryback really is especially after that and that he is going to have to go to that extra mile to beat Ryback, but I know TLC these 2 monsters will destroy each other but I really hope Ryback wins that especially after beating Mason Ryan
- And Daniel Bryan & Dean Ambrose their rivalry heats up just in time for TLC but I wonder how AJ will factor in at TLC

| Monday Night RAW | July 9th, 2012 | Denver, CO |
WWE Superstars 7/12 Taping Results Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal def. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd R-Truth def. Mason Ryan
- Tonight's edition of RAW kicked off with a video package that recapped the events of last week. The Chairman of the WWE, Mr. McMahon, made his return to RAW to hand down punishment to the shady assistant General Manager, Brad Maddox, by putting him on probation and stripping him of any authority until Ric Flair is cleared to return. Later on in the night, CM Punk found himself in a match against the debuting Roman Reigns, the right hand man for Maddox and the WWE Champion, The Miz. Miz would get involved, he and Reigns double teaming Punk. Zack Ryder attempted to make the save, but was taken out with a Spear from the man he will meet at TLC, Roman Reigns. Miz stood tall on a ladder with the WWE Champion, sending a message to Punk before they meet in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match on Sunday.
- Cutting to the arena here in Denver, the ring was shown set up for Miz TV as the theme of the WWE Champion. As Miz made his way down to the ring, a graphic appeared for his Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match this Sunday against CM Punk. Once in the ring, Miz said that history will be made tonight here on episode 998 of Monday Night RAW. Because tonight will mark the biggest edition of Miz TV yet. Miz said that his guest is a very special one. Someone who hasn't been in this ring in a while, and has more than a few words for the WWE Universe."So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen. My guest this evening, come on down!" said Miz. Moments later, the theme of CM Punk hit as the audience erupted. Punk stepped into the ring, meeting his opponent for Sunday face to face. "Hold on just a second, Punk. You're not my guest," said Miz. Punk said that he realizes he wasn't invited to be a part of Miz TV. And he doesn't blame Miz. Because the last time he was on this show, he spoke the truth. He told the entire world exactly who The Miz is, and why he's been able to rise to the top of the WWE. "And that entire rise will flash right before your eyes on Sunday, Miz. Because all if the 'hard work' you've put into your career will come crashing down onto tables, ladders, and chairs as I take back my throne as the WWE Champion," said Punk as the audience applauded him. Miz told Punk that it's unfortunate for him that the entire scenario he just painted is nothing more than a personal fable. "You believe you should be the WWE Champion because you somehow believe that you're a 'God' to the WWE. You believe that you're the savior of wrestling and I'm some sort of curse to it," said Miz.
- Punk responded by telling Miz that he is a curse. He embodies everything that is wrong with not just the WWE, but professional wrestling as a whole. "Look at you. You're out here in a suit. You just cut a promo that may or not have been in your own words. You kiss the ass of every corporate higher power. And all so you can pretend you deserve that title. While I actually do deserve it. Because while you were smiling in front of MTV's cameras, I was busting my ass every single night doing this for anywhere from a hotdog to $20. And in some cases, nothing. I was never handed fame because of my past. My past almost killed my career here in WWE because nobody wanted to take a chance with me. Unlike you, I never had anyone like John Laurinaitis singing my praises to WWE Headquarters. Instead, I had Paul Heyman fighting to get me here. And no one ever gave a damn to listen to what a wrestling mastermind like Heyman had to say," said Punk. At that point, Miz asked Punk what he was trying to get at? "We've already heard you say time and time against about how you weren't supposed to make it to the top of the WWE, but did anyways. And again, you and everyone else forget one little part of my story. I was never supposed to make it either. Your career was made in a scene full of promotions that no one has ever heard of, and never will. I had to make a name for myself in the juggernaut that is the WWE. I put up with all of the hazing from guys like JBL because more than anything else in my life, I wanted to be a WWE superstar," said Miz. "And you got to the top by kissing ass, whereas I got to the top by kicking ass. I never had to bend over backwards for anyone, and I still made it. And as a matter of fact, I've made it further than you. You hold that WWE Championship right now for one reason, and that's because you had Brad Maddox hand it to you." Punk then looked around the ring before asking where Maddox was? Miz said that Maddox has been summoned to an emergency meeting at WWE Headquarters. "Well isn't that unfortunate for you, Miz? It doesn't matter anyways, because at TLC, you're not going to have Maddox there with you. You won't have Roman Reigns either. You won't have anyone at all to help you steal that title," said Punk. Miz then said that he's actually glad that that stipulation was put into effect. Because now, he can prove a fact to the world. "I didn't need Maddox to win this title at No Way Out, and I didn't need any 'corporate assistance' as you call it, to get to the top. Sunday, I will climb to the top, take down the WWE Championship, and prove to you and the world that I deserve every bit of success that I have earned," said Miz.
- Before Miz could continue speaking, he was called over by a worker at ringside, who informed him of something. "So there's been a slight change in plans, everyone. I was just informed that my guest tonight is not here yet." The audience booed Miz as the WWE Champion told CM Punk that it's actually a bit of a shame. "Now that I think about it, I would have wanted you to be out here with my guest, because I'm sure he has a lot to say to you," said Miz. Punk said that he has no idea who Miz is referring to, but if his guest has some sort of issue with him, then he'll gladly come back out here tonight and meet him face to face. "And then on Sunday, Miz, your world comes crashing down. And how fitting will it be when reality slaps you in the face after I become the four-time WWE Champion." Punk dropped his microphone as he headed up the entrance ramp, making a vow to come back out here tonight when Miz has his guest on Miz TV.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for RAW 1000, featuring John Cena looking back on the night he was drafted over to RAW in the 2005 Draft.
- KOFI KINGSTON DEF. ROMAN REIGNS VIA COUNT OUT: A very solid bout to kick things off on episode 998 of Monday Night RAW. With Roman Reigns heading into a match against Zack Ryder this Sunday at TLC, he was looking to run through Kofi and gain some momentum. After Kofi delivered a Springboard Splash onto Reigns, both men were down at the outside as they struggled to get back into the ring. Kofi did so first as Reigns climbed onto the ring apron, only to be hit with Trouble In Paradise. The official reached the count of six as Reigns slowly got to his feet. At that moment, the theme of Zack Ryder hit. This distracted Reigns, taking his attention off of the match as the official reached the count of ten.
- The bell sounded as Kofi celebrated his victory, Reigns realizing what had happened. With no Zack Ryder in sight, it was clear that the mind games from Long Island Iced Z were successful in costing Reigns the victory. When Kofi turned around, he was drilled with a massive Spear from Reigns. The right hand man of The Miz and Brad Maddox hurried to the back, most certainly on the hunt for Zack Ryder.
- Backstage, United States Champion Evan Bourne was shown in his locker room looking up at something. The camera swayed to the side to reveal Bourne's former bodyguard, Tensai. Bourne told him that even though they haven't been in contact for a few months, he knows what Tensai is capable of. Which is why he needs him to go out there tonight and destroy Christian. "And on Sunday, I'll finish what you start by ruining any hopes Christian has of capturing my United States Championship," said Bourne. Tensai made his way out of the room as Bourne followed him.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's edition of Miz TV as the WWE Champion has promised a very special guest, and one who has a few words for CM Punk.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for the first ever NXT iPPV, live this Wednesday exclusively on WWE.com.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, cameras were shown hurrying to the locker room area, where commotion could be heard. Once there, we saw the Funkasaurus Brodus Clay attacking Bray Wyatt as several superstars watched. Brodus tossed Wyatt into a locker as his body created a dent in it. Brodus stared down at Wyatt before kicking him one last time for good measure. After Brodus left the room, Wyatt simply laughed maniacally as he laid on the floor.
- CHRISTIAN DEF. TENSAI: A battle between two former members of the People Power stable as another former member, United States Champion Evan Bourne, joined Cole and Lawler on commentary. Tensai attempted to weaken Christian before his Ladder Match Sunday at TLC, per orders of Bourne. Those attempts failed when Christian took Tensai down with a Tornado DDT to get the victory.
- Christian stood to his feet following the victory, the official raising his arm in the air. Suddenly, he was struck in his left shoulder with the United States Championship by Bourne. Christian dropped to the mat in pain as for the past few weeks, that left shoulder has been causing trouble for him. Bourne looked underneath the ring, bringing out a ladder and sliding it in. He waited for Christian to get to his feet before hitting him in the shoulder with the ladder. Christian held his shoulder as he remained on the mat, Bourne standing tall with the United States Championship six days before the two of them meet in a Ladder Match at TLC.
- Backstage, John Cena was shown walking down a corridor. Cena is set to address that WWE Universe about the challenge he laid out to The Rock for RAW 1000, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, the theme of John Cena hit as a mixed reaction emerged from the Denver audience. Cena made his way out to the stage before running down to the ring as usual. He grabbed a microphone, taking a moment to observe the reception. "So last week, things didn't go out the way I planned. I didn't win the Money In The Bank briefcase, Dolph Ziggler was able to run away with it, some cried, some rejoiced, the internet exploded, it was all one big mess! And to top it all off, Ziggler ended up taking a plunge through a ladder. But then, I gave the WWE Universe something to talk about. As we all know, in two weeks, RAW will celebrate something that has never been done before in the history of television. The longest running weekly episodic show on television, thanks Cole, reaches 1000 episodes! And a very special someone will be there. And miraculously, it won't be via satellite. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will be physically present in the arena. And many are wondering why I issued a challenge to him. After all, I did beat him at WrestleMania XXVIII. But it wasn't in a fashion that I was proud of. I know that night after, I was hesitant to accept a rematch with him. But that was because I still didn't know at the moment how to react to everything. I now know that I don't want to record books to show that the only time I defeated The Rock was through shenanigans that I never enlisted. If I'm going to own a victory over The Rock, I want it done the right way. So at RAW 1000, I will step into this ring with The Rock and accept the challenge that he laid out to me the night after WrestleMania. Someday, somewhere, the world will witness magic be created once again. I am guaranteeing all of you that at some point, John Cena vs. The Rock II will take place!" The audience erupted at the announcement, "Rocky" chants ensuing. The moment was then spoiled by the arrival of Mr. Money In The Bank, Dolph Ziggler. Clearly showing the effects of the fall he took through a ladder last week, Ziggler limped down to the ring as he came face to face with John Cena again. "So typical of you, Cena. Last week was my moment. I got yet another victory over you, and it was when it mattered the most. In a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, I beat the odds and retained my Money In The Bank briefcase. That was my moment to stand tall with the world in front of me. But you wouldn't allow that to happen. You put me through a ladder and made sure that the world was talking about you, not me. You took the spotlight off of me, the winner of our match, and put it on you just because you wanted to challenge The Rock. Sooner or later, you're gonna have to face the music, John. Realize that with every second that goes by, I am surpassing you. Right now, you have nothing. You have your stupid hat and your stupid shirt and your stupid fans, which all mean absolutely nothing. While I have this briefcase in my possession. This is my ticket to the top of the WWE, and my ticket to dethroning you as the face of the company. All of the posters, movies, advertisements, my face will be plastered over everything WWE. While you will become a distant memory, John. Listen to your music. Your time is up, and my time is now. With you finally out of the way, there is nothing stopping me from climbing to the top." After Ziggler finished speaking, Cena tried to speak a few words of his own. Not being able to come up with any, he simply hoisted Ziggler up to his shoulders and delivered an Attitude Adjustment. "See you all in two weeks," said Cena as he made his way to the back, leaving Ziggler downed in the ring
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, Josh Mathews was shown backstage standing by with the NXT Champion, Damien Sandow. "Finally, Monday Night RAW has been graced with the presence of your intellectual savior of the masses. I am here to spread the word to you all, the WWE Universe. This Wednesday night will be a monumental occurrence in WWE history. For the first time ever, I, Damien Sandow, will enter the ring to defend my NXT Championship. And against two ignoramuses, Seth Rollins and Kassius Ohno, I will claim victory and further progress towards achieving my goal of bringing intellectualism to a united WWE Universe. Thus, I encourage you all to order the NXT iPPV on WWE.com to witness a moment in not just WWE history, but in the world as I guide all of you in helping create the society that our founding fathers had onced envisioned us inhabiting. You're welcome," said Sandow as he left the interview scene.
- ZACK RYDER DEF. JACK SWAGGER W/ ALL WORLD PROMOTIONS:A decent bout here with Ryder looking to do what Roman Reigns failed to do earlier, which was gain momentum heading into TLC on Sunday. During the match, Darren Young hopped onto the ring apron, attempting to distract the official. Ryder would respond by delivering a dropkick as Young crashed onto AW and Titus O'Neil. The official then ordered All World Promotions to leave the ringside area. Swagger would take control for a bit until Ryder slid out of the Gutwrench Powerbomb attempt, taking down Swagger with a Flapjack. Ryder soon hit Swagger with the Rough Ryder to claim victory.
- The Denver audience popped as Ryder celebrated his victory, picking up a nice measure of momentum heading into his battle with Roman Reigns on Sunday. When Ryder was on the stage, he turned around to be met with a Spear from Reigns. Ryder was laid out on the steel as Reigns stood tall over him, not letting Long Island Iced Z get the last laugh before TLC this Sunday.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's edition of Miz TV as the WWE Champion has promised a very special guest, and one who has a few words for CM Punk.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, WWE Champion The Miz was shown in his locker room on the phone with Brad Maddox. "Why shouldn't he be my guest? This guy hates CM Punk. If all goes well tonight, he's on our side and Punk, Ryder, and Flair will stand no change against us," said Miz. "What, are you hiding more secrets, Brad? You're so jumpy about him being my guest. There's nothing to worry about. He's on our side," said Miz before hanging up the call.
- NATALYA DEF. MAXINE: A decent Diva's bout here with Natalya looking to gain some momentum as she heads into a Divas Championship match Sunday against Eve. The daughter of the Anvil was able to do just that, picking up the victory after forcing Maxine to submit to the Sharpshooter.
- As the bell sounded, Natalya refused to release the Sharpshooter that she had Maxine locked in. Two officials were able to restrain her before she grabbed a microphone. "Just to let all of you know, Eve is not here tonight. I was told that she's out taking care of other 'WWE business affairs.' In actuality, I know that Eve is afraid of me. And she has every right to be. What I just did to Maxine, it's going to be you, Eve. This Sunday, I will take the Divas Championship for myself, for Beth Phoenix, and for every Diva who has ever been bullied by you, Eve. This one's for them," said Natalya before leaving up the entrance ramp, making it clear that she plans on capturing the Divas Championship this Sunday at TLC.
- At this time, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler quickly ran down the card for TLC this Sunday. On the YouTube Pre-Show, Sheamus will take on Mason Ryan. Onto the main card, the United States Championship will be up for grabs in a Ladder Match as Evan Bourne defends against Christian. For the Divas Champion, Eve defends against Natalya. Brodus Clay will look for revenge as he battles Bray Wyatt. In a No Disqualifications match, two monsters will collide as Kane takes on Ryback. Roman Reigns will look to make an impactful pay-per-view debut against Zack Ryder. In a Chairs Match, Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose will finally settle their bitter rivalry. Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty will be forced to defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Chris Jericho in a Tables Match. And finally, the WWE Championship is on the line in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match with all interference barred as The Miz defends his title against CM Punk. TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs is live this Sunday on pay-per-view.
- Backstage, CM Punk was shown making his way down to the ring. Miz TV is up next, and The Miz has promised Punk that he will want to be there to meet his special guest.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, live this Sunday, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, the theme of The Miz hit as the WWE Champion made his way out to the ring for the second time tonight. He once again welcomed everyone to the "most must see talk show in history," Miz TV. Garnering the same reaction he did earlier, Miz asked for CM Punk to come on down to the ring now. A few seconds later, Punk's theme hit as the audience here in Denver stood to their feet. Before stepping into the ring, he tossed in a chair, followed by a table and a ladder. "Look around you, Miz. Sunday, you'll be surrounded by four things. Tables, ladders, and chairs are just three of them. But the fourth and most dangerous object that you'll have to deal with is me. I can kick your ass with my bare hands. So just imagine how much pain you're going to have to endure when I hold possession of these three objects as I reclaim my WWE Championship." Miz told Punk that his entire statement goes both ways. "I can beat you with my bare hands. And guess what? I did at No Way Out. And at TLC, I'll do with not just my hands, but with tables, and ladders, and chairs. But right now, I want to introduce you to another deadly object. A man that cannot wait to get his hands on you. A man that you took everything away from when you purposely injured him," said Miz. After Punk asked what he was talking about, Miz stopped beating around the bush. "Ladies and gentlemen, my guess tonight is none other than the former WWE Champion, Wade Barrett!"
- The audience stood in shock as Barrett made his way out to the stage for the first time in a month, back when he was stripped of the WWE Championship by RAW General Manager Ric Flair. Before heading down to the ring, Barrett shook the arm that was supposedly injured, showing that he was just fine. He stepped into the ring as he met CM Punk face to face. Both men stared at each other as Miz looked on with a huge grin on his face. "A month ago, you injured me. And because of that, I lost my WWE Championship. The one that I beat you for in England in the proudest moment of my life. You had every reason to injure me. You were no longer the champion because of me, and you were out of the title picture for No Way Out. Then, after I went down, you were right back in the picture," said Barrett. Miz told Barrett that if he wanted to, he could leave the ring and allow him to take of Punk. "Not so fast, Miz. I have every reason to be angry at Punk. But for right now, I'm going to forget about him."
- Miz looked at Barrett in confusion, as did the rest of the audience. "I don't actually believe Punk injured me on purpose, and I'm not complaining about being injured. This isn't ballet. This is the WWE. Injuries happen, and I am no exception. Initially, I was told that I would be out of action anywhere from four to six months. And somehow, that became four weeks. My shoulder is perfectly fine now, but I have to wonder something. Last week, Mr. McMahon claimed that Ric Flair did not have the authority to strip me of the WWE Championship because my injury report wasn't even released. I may not like Flair, but I know that he's more of a professional than that to just strip me of my title. So whoever made the call to strip me of my title had to have fabricated the story of my injury." Miz didn't exactly know where Barrett was going, but he still listened in. "Why would Flair lie and fabricate the severity of injury when he had nothing to gain. And that's when I realized that Flair didn't make the call to strip me of the WWE Championship because he had nothing to gain. So who had something to gain out of me being out of the picture," said Barrett as he stepped closer Miz. "Wait, hold on a second, Barrett. You think I fabricated the story of your injury? How is that even possible? I have no power or authority," said Miz. "You're right. You don't. So someone who does have power and authority made the call to take away my title. Someone who Flair would listen to made the call. Someone who had everything to gain out of me not being the champion. And I know who it is. It's the same person who had everything to gain out of making sure that Flair was not at No Way Out. The same person who had everything to gain out of making sure you became the WWE Champion. In case you're not picking any of this up, Miz, Brad Maddox stripped me of my title." The audience buzzed as Miz simply looked at Barrett in shock. "Maddox knew I wouldn't be out for four to six months, but told Flair and the Board of Directors that anyways so I could be stripped of the WWE Championship. And from there, he made you the champion. But he never thought about what would happen once I discovered the truth. Fortunately for you, I'm not going to do anything to you. And unfortunately for you, I'm not going to do anything to Punk. The only man who I want to get on my hands on is Brad Maddox. And when I do, I'll make sure he pays the proper consequences. I'm not 100% just yet, but I will be sooner than you think. And I'm making this clear to the both of you. I will take back what I shouldn't have ever been stripped of in the first place - the WWE Championship."
- Barrett dropped his microphone as he made his way up the entrance ramp, revealing to the world that Brad Maddox wrongfully made the call to strip him of the WWE Championship. After Barrett left, Miz and Punk were left in the ring. "Well what do you know? Your little sidekick is in even more trouble. Last year, you were clamoring about how there was a conspiracy against you. And now, you're perpetrating a damn conspiracy." said Punk. Miz, seemingly disappointed, said that maybe Brad Maddox has been more trouble than he thought. "But even through all of this, he is still more fit to run RAW than Ric Flair. And don't even think that this is more evidence to your little theory that I shouldn't be the WWE Champion. Every bit of 'evidence' you have will be thrown out the window as I finally defeat you one on one with no interference from anyone and retain the WWE Championship." Punk told Miz that he can continue to claim whatever he wants. He doesn't deserve to be WWE Champion, and he'll right that wrong on Sunday. "But remember something else, Miz. Until Maddox-Gate is over, RAW is in the hands of nobody. Which frees me to do this." After that, Punk struck Miz with his microphone. Miz was only temporarily stunned as he took Punk down, the two beginning to brawl. After Punk knee'd Miz a few times, he got a hold of a steel chair and cracked him in the back with it. Punk then went to outside, setting up a table. When he turned around, Miz slid a ladder underneath the bottom rope as it caught Punk right between the eyes. Miz then climbed up to the top turnbuckle as Punk soon joined him. The two traded blows on the turnbuckle before they took each other down, both losing balance and crashing through the table! Both Miz and Punk were down and out, but one of them will be standing as the WWE Champion this Sunday.

- Wade Barrett is back and better than ever, at least I hope so because now he can take back his rightful place as WWE Champion but for now he has to wait until after TLC to do that but Miz, Punk and especially Brad Maddox have to watch out because Barrett will be on the warpath to take back what he should have never lost in the first place the WWE Championship, and I can't wait until he does that
- I hope Wade Barrett changes his theme song to the one he has now currently and has more of a tweak to his gimmick once he returns in the sense that he is more of a bare-knuckle fighter using the Bull Hammer Elbow as his new finisher
- Cena vs Rock II the rematch on RAW 1000, I can actually get behind that, but I really hope Cena turns heel after the match-up is said and done because no one would be able to see Cena's heel turn coming, and the whole WWE Universe including Cena's fans that being women and little kids would be in shock while adult men they would probably be cheering but mostly would be boos all around the arena and even the announcers everybody would be in shock asking if Cena has turned his back on the WWE Universe, I can definitely see something to that magnitude happening with Cena's heel turn being as big as Hulk Hogan's in WCW in 1996 at Bash at the Beach when he was announced as the 3rd member of the nWo and everybody was in shock that Hogan turned heel, I can see Cena's heel turn having an even bigger effect
- Ziggler with his briefcase he can cash it in whenever he wants on the champion of his choice when the champion is vulnerable, hell he could even cash in at RAW 1000 or even cash it in on a Smackdown episode or even at SummerSlam, but all I know is that 2012 is the year for Ziggler to finally break out
- Damien Sandow on RAW, I loved it, he should appear on RAW and Smackdown more often since he is the NXT Champion
- Roman Reigns loses his match to Kofi by count-out only to get the last laugh by spearing Kofi and then later on in the show spears Ryder his TLC opponent, I for one think Reigns will beat Ryder this Sunday at TLC
- Natalya I hope she beats Eve but I can see Eve beating her already to retain her title from a mile away

Pretty good Raw to begin the last week of build toward TLC, things got even more interesting with Barrett's return and revealing he shouldn't have been stripped of the title. I can see Barrett getting his revenge against Maddox at the next pay-per-view and looking for his title afterward. Good win for Christian to give him some momentum going into his showdown with Bourne and I can see him winning the title. Solid promo from Cena about wanting to face Rock again and a nice response from Zigger. I sense one more match from both guys coming up sometime soon. Overall some nice work and I'm looking forward to seeing TLC.

Very good opening promo but not sure about having MizTV boil over to close the show too. I feel like maybe it should've just ended the show. Interested in Miz's guest though. Good opening contest, like the Ryder mind games. Christian over Tensai was obvious to give Christian momentum heading into the huge Ladder match at the PPV. Bourne's post match attack was good as well. Actually would like to see Rock/Cena II at SummerSlam or Raw 1000. I feel like The Rock needs to win this time. Also, get Ziggler away from Cena please. Reign//Ryder should be good at TLC. Natalya winning was obvious, but I see Eve winning at TLC. I sense someone new dethroning Eve. Paige perhaps? Very intrigued by the Barrett/Maddox stuff, nice conspiracy. Punk/Miz brawl to end it was a nice touch too. As always, very good Raw.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 2nd July 2012...David Otunga with a win against Jinder Mahal is fine. Otunga's not working well as a babyface. Jack Swagger defeating Justin Gabriel is fine, but where is either man going from here? Decent promo to kick things off, with Mr McMahon in the ring to address Brad Maddox. Where is Ric Flair? Interesting call to immediately put Roman Reigns in action tonight with CM Punk. I sort of like it, but it could've been held off a little, I think. Flair already out of charge of RAW? Interesting! I like that McMahon took away Maddox's power as well, looks like Vince will be sticking around for a bit. Christian with a win against Evan Bourne sets up a rematch for the WWE United States Championship at Tables, Ladders and Chairs. A ladder match sounds cool. Ahaha, R-Truth introducing Little Jimmy more and more. I liked Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins' cameo appearances here. Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty with a win against Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman was fine, why were the WWE Tag Team Champions on RAW again? It has to have been their first appearance on RAW in some time. Good disqualification finish with Roman Reigns getting help from the Miz; it kept Reigns strong and forwarded the Punk and Miz rivalry closing in on TLC. Zack Ryder trying to make the save was a good call, though. Reigns now has a nemesis of his own. I am interested in what you have in store for RAW 1000 in a few weeks. Bray Wyatt with a promo! Very eerie, I liked it. Wyatt facing Brodus Clay at TLC, that won't be a pretty match. I'm hoping it doesn't happen, but if Brodus is converted after losing, I sense a turn back to his old destructive heel self. Eve with a win against Kelly Kelly was fine, with more progression in the feud with Natalya. And good call in making this a five-match show, alotting John Cena and Dolph Ziggler to have a lot of time in their Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Ziggler with the win was lovely, especially cleanly. Cena then announcing that The Rock was coming to RAW 1000 was cool, but sort of unnecessary. I think it would've been better announced in a graphic or promo video. But ah well, I still sort of think you missed the ball with Ziggler and Cena having a blow-off match for the Money in the Bank briefcase at TLC, though. But nonetheless, a decent show overall.
WWE NXT: Wednesday 4th July 2012...Wheeey, Independence Day. I was surprised to see no acknowledgement of that, but nevermind. Not long until the first ever NXT iPPV. Tyson Kidd defeating JTG was great, glad to see Kidd allowed into the Elimination Chase match. The Usos' involvement was an interesting forward to the feud, but I don't like Kidd winning uncleanly to a guy like JTG. Yoshi Tatsu defeating Jake Carter was fine, not bad. I wish Carter had the win, but nevermind. Yoshi facing Corey Graves on the iPPV doesn't sound too eye-catching. I'm surprised this iPPV doesn't consist of a WWE superstar or two, just to add some buys to the billing. Adrian Neville debuting soon is cool, and he's soon to meet his first rival, Mike Dalton. Very forward, not bad. Up next, Tamina and Raquel Diaz defeating Paige and Sofia Cortez was fine, good that Paige wasn't pinned to keep her strong, too. I think Tamina should be used a lot better. Looking forward to you pulling that off. Up last, a great, realistic last minute interview with the NXT Championship participants and Jim Ross, I liked how the show ended with a mere brawl between Seth Rollins, Damien Sandow and Kassius Ohno, too. NXT on iPPV sounds interesting, although the undercard doesn't sound purchaseable whatsoever. Also, I think appearances from Alex Riley, Trent Barreta and Richie Steamboat would have helped build the Elimination Chase. An all-face effort, too? I'm not fond of that decision, personally. Not a bad episode. Looking forward to the key matches taking place next week.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 6th July 2012...Heath Slater beating Percy Watson was good, I never liked Percy. Chris Jericho beating Johnny Curtis was fine, but it should've made the SmackDown card. Jericho should never be on WWE Superstars' calibre. Antonio Cesaro opening the show was great, propelling us into this feud to also establish Alberto Del Rio as a babyface...whilst continuing to develop Cesaro's personality as WWE Intercontinental Champion. I did like the interaction from the Swiss newcomer with the fans, though. Sheamus defeating Tensai was fine, a flat blow-off match to a stop-start feud. I think you're beginning to hurt Sheamus with him being deprived of a World Heavyweight Championship shot for so long now. Not fond of that one. Sheamus taking out Michael Cole was a happy ending to that feud, whatever. Ryback beating Mason Ryan? Wow, that Shellshocked must've been something. Ryback then wanting Kane was cool, I am looking forward to their confrontation for sure. Up next, a great segment with Daniel Bryan in the ring. Wait, this is SmackDown Live? So it is! I thought it'd be better aired on Tuesday though, since WWE never does a televised show on a Friday due to house shows. This segment really set the tone for this upcoming duel with Dean Ambrose, I await this match at Tables, Ladders and Chairs the most. AJ Lee and Kaitlyn continuing their antics was a nice touch, too. Alberto Del Rio then coming out to defeat Drew McIntyre was fine, it's safe to say that McIntyre's career is officially dead in the water now. And up next, Randy Orton defeating Ted Dibiase was fine, but I don't think the World Heavyweight Championship needed being defended. Up last, great set-up for a tag team tables match to fill out Randy as champion before facing Cody Rhodes for the gold at SummerSlam in six weeks. And finally, up last a very weird decision to have Rey Mysterio's retirement end the show. I'd have made it the first-hour main event, but a show closer? I just wouldn't be interested as a casual viewer. Plus, talk time with Mysterio and Sin Cara would have been a dire way to close the show, and I'd be annoyed by it. It's high profile to make this match for SummerSlam, but it should never have main evented. Anyhow, not a bad episode, just not your best either. Right in the middle. TLC is looking pretty tame, not a bad job.

Interesting way to open up Raw with MizTV, only to delay it to later on. Kofi Kingston over Roman Reigns via Countout I'm not sure about, cos even though it's countout, Reigns has lost quite a bit since debuting. Maybe that's just me. Hopefully he snaps Ryder at TLC. A good victory for Christian, and I do still see him taking the title at TLC for sure. The Cena/Ziggler feud continues? I thought it ended last week in the TLC match. Not sure where else it can go without another match at TLC. Good win for Ryder, and I'm happy to see Reigns standing tall now, but I'm unsure who you'll go for as the winner. Natalya obviously over Maxine, and I would love to see Natalya as the Divas Champion as she is a legitimate Diva and can actually perform in the ring. A very nice way to end the show and I loved Barrett making his return. Interesting finish with them both being laid out. I think Miz is the obvious winner though since he's not had much of a reign yet.

Dark Match: Adam Cole def. Rick Victor- After the signature WWE intro, a video package aired to highlight the events that have taken place thus far in the situation with the NXT Championship. The Intellectual Savior of the Masses, Damien Sandow overcame seven other men in a tournament to be named the inaugural NXT Champion. He would go on to choose Kassius Ohno as his first challenge, but there was another NXT superstar on the lookout for his opportunity. That superstar being Seth Rollins, who was eliminated from the tournament via disqualification. After a bit controversy, Rollins would be granted his shot at the NXT Championship, and he'll receive it tonight in a Triple Threat match against Kassius Ohno and the NXT Champion, Damien Sandow.
- Following the video package, we cut straight to Full Sail University as the audience was shown fired up for th first ever NXT iPPV. William Regal and Byron Saxton welcomed everyone to the show, exclusively being broadcasted on WWE.com. They ran down the card for tonight's show, focusing on the three key matches. The Anti Diva Paige will have her opportunity at revenge against Summer Rae by taking on Summer's backup, Tamina. The Elimination Chase to crown a new No. 1 contender begins tonight as Alex Riley, Richie Steamboat, Tyson Kidd, and Trent Barreta all go at it. And finally, the NXT Championship will be defended for the first time as Damien Sandow will put the gold on the line against Seth Rollins and Kassius Ohno in a Triple Threat match.
ADRIAN NEVILLE DEF. MIKE DALTON: An amazing, fast paced bout to kick things off here on the first ever NXT iPPV. Adrian Neville was making his debut here, easily winning over the Full Sail audience with his extensive aerial arsenal. Dalton was able to answer back with a few aerial attacks of his own, most notably catching Neville with a Springboard Blockbuster. Dalton was unable to Neville away early, later heading to the top rope to deliver a Hurricarana. Neville was able to hold on to Dalton, preventing him from hitting the Hurricarana. Neville planted Dalton with a Powerbomb from the top rope, but didn't go for the cover. He instead ascended to the top rope, coming down onto Dalton with an unbelievable 360 Shooting Star Press! The audience erupted at the impact as Neville hooked the inside leg of Dalton to get the win.
- The Full Sail audience popped as Neville stood to his feet, celebrating his victory in his debut match here on NXT. Neville assisted Dalton up to his feet, offering a hand shake. Dalton accepted the show of respect as he and Neville left to the back, the "Man That Gravity Forgot" looking ready for his success on NXT.
- Backstage, Tony Dawson was standing by with one of the four competitors in the Elimination Chase tonight, Alex Riley. Dawson asked A-Ry for his thoughts heading into tonight's huge match. Riley said that he knows better than anyone else what it's like to come inches away from the NXT Championship as he made it to the finals of the tournament to crown a champion. And since that moment, he made a promise to himself and the WWE Universe that he will be NXT Champion. And he takes the first step tonight. It doesn't matter if tonight, it's Richie Steamboat, Tyson Kidd, or Trent Barreta who is eliminated. He has no problem taking all of them out to get to the NXT Championship.
COREY GRAVES DEF. YOSHI TATSU: A solid bout here between two men who have gotten under each other's skin recently. Graves was looking to make a name for himself by getting his first victory over a main roster WWE superstar. And he was successful after dodging one of Yoshi's Roundhouse Kicks, applying the Fuller Leg Lock to get the victory.
- The bell sounded as Graves kept the hold in on Yoshi, who repeatedly submitted. He eventually released the hold, standing tall in victory over Tatsu and chalking one up for the Filth Parade.
- At this time, the RAW Rebound was shown. In a special edition of Miz TV, former WWE Champion Wade Barrett made his return. The current champion, The Miz, was under the assumption that Barrett would be looking for revenge against CM Punk, who injured him at a live event, which led to Barrett being the stripped of the title. However, Barrett revealed that assistant General Manager Brad Maddox was the one who made the call to strip him of the title, and fabricated the severity of his injury to Ric Flair and the Board of Directors. Barrett vowed to both get revenge against Maddox, and reclaim the WWE Championship. Punk and Miz would then brawl, resulting in the two of them crashing through a table six nights before the WWE Title is up for grabs in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match.
SOFIA CORTEZ DEF. RAQUEL DIAZ: Along with Paige later tonight, Sofia Cortez was another NXT Diva who was looking for revenge against the woman she was defeated by two weeks ago, Raquel Diaz. Both Divas were able to put on a very solid bout, the audience giving Raquel a ton of heat for her tactics and arrogant mannerisms. Raquel was attempting to hit the Three Amigos, but couldn't connect on the final one. Sofia slid off of her shoulder, catching her with a huge Superkick. With Raquel stunned momentarily, Sofia was able to capitalize and plant her with a Wheelbarrow DDT to grab the victory.
- The audience popped as Sofia celebrated her victory, gaining a huge measure of revenge against her rival. Raquel, on the other hand, threw a temper tantrum in the ring as the "Exfoliating Ugliness Tour" has taken a detour, courtesy of Sofia Cortez.
- Backstage, Kassius Ohno was shown arriving to the arena. The world renowned competitor is one of the three men who battle in tonight's Triple Threat main event for the NXT Championship.
- Cutting to another camera, Briley Pierce was shown standing by with one of the participants in the Elimination Chase, Trent Barreta. Briley asked Barreta about his actions two weeks ago after he qualified for the Elimination Chase. Barreta said that it wasn't like he had some sort of change of heart. He just didn't see why he had to shake the hand of the man he defeated. Just like he's not going to congratulate any of the other participants in the Elimination Chase on their losses.
- THE USOS DEF. JTG AND BIG E LANGSTON: Another rivalry would be settled here, as well as the question as to whether or not JTG and Big E Langston are still on the same page. The two were able to work as a cohesive unit for the most part, dominating the Usos for a majority of the bout. That was until JTG refused to make the tag to Big E, claiming that "Mr. NXT" needed more time to shine. After JTG and Jey Uso hit each other with simultaneous clotheslines, JTG decided to finally tag in Big E. However, Big E denied the tag, saying "Go shine, Mr. NXT." The two argued until JTG was turned around by Jey, who planted him with a Samoan Drop. Jey made the tag to Jimmy, who hit JTG with a Superfly Splash to give he and his brother the win.
- The Usos celebrated their victory with the Full Sail University audience, finally overcoming their rival duo. In the ring, Big E entered as JTG stirred to his feet. He quickly pushed Big E, yelling at him. "What's you problem?!? We could've had that!" shouted the furious JTG. Big E didn't say a word as JTG continued to berate, soon pushing his index finger into Big E's pectoral area. After JTG turned around, Big E grabbed him and hoisted him up to his shoulders, hitting the Big Ending! The audience went nuts for Big E as he left the ring, finally deciding that he had enough of the attitude of JTG.
- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. In a rematch of one of the best matches thus far in 2012, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton will take on Daniel Bryan, two nights before both men head into potential career-altering matches at TLC. Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- Returning to the first ever NXT iPPV, Richie Steamboat was shown in the backstage area heading to the ring. He was soon met by Tyson Kidd, another one of the four competitors in the Elimination Chase match. Kidd told Steamboat that he knows he has what it takes to win the Elimination Chase, but so does he. And when it comes down to it, experience outweighs youth. Kidd wished Steamboat luck, the two exchanging a friendly handshake before going their own ways.
Elimination Chase Alex Riley vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Richie Steamboat vs. Trent Barreta
| The bell sounded as all four men took a corner, glancing back at one another with the thought in their heads that three of them will advance to the second stage of the Chase, while the other will be out of the running. Trent Barreta made the first move, but was tossed over the top rope by Alex Riley. Not focused, Riley was rolled up by Richie Steamboat. After Steamboat kicked out, Tyson Kidd delivered a few forearms to him. He whipped Steamboat off the ropes, being thrown with an Overhead Slam by Riley. A-Ry charged towards Kidd, who moved out of the way and connected with a Dropkick that sent Riley out of the ring. Kidd built a bit of momentum before launching himself over the top rope and onto Riley. With Steamboat back on his feet, he delivered a Suicide Dive through the second rope onto Barreta. Kidd slid Riley back into the ring, only garnering a two count off of him. On the outside, Barreta was able to pushed Steamboat into the barricade as he was picking him up from the floor. Barreta dropped Steamboat with a Back Suplex onto the top of the barricade before heading into the ring. He was able to get Kidd in a corner, delivering a few Knife Edge Chops to him. As Barreta delivered a few shots to Kidd's forehead while standing on the second rope, Riley was able to grab him and plant him with a Powerbomb. Riley got the cover, but Barreta was able to kick out just in the nick of time. When Riley turned around, he was hit with a Missile Dropkick from Kidd. Kidd the stood up, only to be taken down with a Springboard Crossbody from Richie. Unfortunately for the "Son of the Dragon," Kidd was able to get a shoulder up in time. The Full Sail audience were loving the face-paced action here in the first stage of the Elimination Chase. Steamboat As Steamboat was picking up Riley, he retaliated with several elbows to the mid section. Riley planted him with a DDT, covering him for a two count. For a moment, Kidd and Barreta formed a partnership as they delivered a Suplex to Riley. Their unison was then thrown out the window as Barreta rolled Kidd up, only getting a two count. Kidd responded with a quick Dropkick to Barreta, covering him and failing to get the victory and elimination. Kidd then lifted Barreta into the air for a Brainbuster, keeping him in position as the audience counted the seconds that Kidd had Barreta in the air. Suddenly, Steamboat entered the ring and caught Kidd with a Superkick. He and Barrett dropped to the mat as Steamboat covered Kidd, getting the victory and eliminating him. | Richie Steamboat defeats Alex Riley, Tyson Kidd, and Trent Barreta - Tyson Kidd is Eliminated |
- Richie Steamboat quickly stood to his feet as the audience applauded him for his successful performance. The "Son of the Dragon" was ecstatic to not only be advancing to the next tier of the Elimination Chase, but to have the scored the winning pinfall. Alex Riley and Trent Barreta will live to fight another day, but Tyson Kidd is now out of the running for a shot at the NXT Championship.
- At this time, an interview from earlier today was shown as Jim Ross sat down with Seth Rollins in the stands in Full Sail University to discuss tonight's huge main event for the NXT Championship. Rollins said that had Damien Sandow defeated him cleanly in the NXT Championship tournament, then he would have backed away and waited for his turn. But because Sandow ran away with a wrongful disqualification victory, he vowed to get his rightful shot at the title. And he has that tonight, but he has to share it with Kassius Ohno. He's known Ohno for a very long time and knows what it takes to keep him down. As for Sandow, he may not be as familiar with him, but he has what Rollins wants and what he plans to take tonight - the NXT Championship.
- Cutting back to the live feed, Rob Naylor was shown backstage standing by with Bo Rotundo. Recently, Bo was sidelined with an injury at an NXT live event. Naylor asked Bo for an update on his condition. Bo said that his ankle isn't 100% yet, but it's feeling a lot better. And it irks him that he couldn't be a part of tonight's historic event. But every downside has its upside. And the upside is that he'll come back better than ever and more focused than ever. And his focus is on one thing, and that's becoming the NXT Champion.
Single Match Paige vs. Tamina W/ Summer Rae
| After the bell sounded, Paige immediately headed to the outside and made chase for Summer Rae. She chased her around the ring and eventually up the entrance ramp as Summer bolted to the back. Paige ran back into the ring, ducking a Clothesline from Tamina and taking her down with a Thesz Press. Paige grabbed Tamina's head and repeatedly slammed the back of it into the canvas. After Tamina was able to push her away, Paige kicked her in her rib area. Tamina backed into a corner as Paige stepped onto the second rope, pounding away with repeated strikes. Tamina was able to turn the tables as she pulled Paige's leg, causing her to fall face-first onto the turnbuckle. Tamina stomped on Paige in a corner for a bit, driving her boot into Paige's clavicle. The official forced Tamina away as Paige struggled to both catch her breathe and get to her feet. After she stood up in the corner, Tamina delivered multiple Knife Edge Chops. Tamina then whipped Paige into the opposite corner, charging into her with a Splash. Paige dropped to the canvas as Tamina covered her, but failed to get the victory. At that moment, Summer Rae slowly made her way back out to ringside, satisfied with the punishment that was being delivered to the Anti-Diva. Tamina tossed Paige to the outside, lifting her into a Spinebuster position. She then rammed her back-first into the steel ring post before planting her onto the floor with a Spinebuster. She rolled Paige back into the ring, who still managed to kick out. Tamina grew more frustrated with Paige's resiliency as she ascended to the top rope. Tamina came down with the Superfly Splash, but Paige was able to move out harm's way in time. Both Divas got to their feet at the same time as Tamina threw a punch. Paige was able to block it, delivering a Headbutt to to Tamina. While Tamina felt the effects of the Headbutt, it was apparent that Paige did as well. Tamina knee'd Paige in the mid-section before lifting her up for a Powerbomb. Paige was able to counter it into a DDT. After Tamina was back on her feet, Paige planted her with a Northern Lights Suplex. Tamina was able to kick out, but the momentum shifted to the Anti-Diva. Paige grabbed Tamina's legs as it looked like she was going to lock her in a Cloverleaf. Tamina was able to kick Paige away as she backed into a corner. Tamina went for another Corner Splash, but Paige was able to dodge it. After Tamina crashed into the turnbuckle, Paige planted her with a German Suplex into a pinning predicament. At that moment, Summer Rae stepped onto the ring apron to distract the official and prevent him from the making the count. Paige approached Summer and grabbed her by the air, but sensed something. She moved out of the way as Tamina crashed into Summer, knocking her off the apron. When Tamina turned around, Paige kicked her in the gut and placed her into position for RamPaige, planting Tamina onto her head to get the victory. | Paige defeats Tamina |
- The audience erupted for Paige as she stood to her feet, raising her arms in victory as she was finally able to put Tamina away. However, Paige was not done just yet. She went to the outside as Summer tried to run away, but couldn't as Paige got a hold of her by the hair. She tossed Summer into the ring, not wasting anytime to put her in position for RamPaige. The audience begged Paige to plant Summer with the maneuver, which she soon did. Paige let out a primal scream as she has finally overcome the two women who attempted to ruin her career. The Anti-Diva now reigns supreme in the Divas division on NXT.
- A promo was shown for TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, live this Sunday on pay-per-view.
- Returning to Full Sail University, William Regal and Bryon Saxton were shown at the announce table as they praised the show thus far, calling the first ever NXT iPPV a huge success. And the night is not over because coming up next, it is main event time. A promo was shown that took us back to the celebration for NXT Champion Damien Sandow as he became the inaugural champion in an eight-men tournament. Sandow's celebration was interrupted by Seth Rollins, who made it known that he was looking for a fair opportunity at the title. Sandow would do everything in his power to keep Rollins distant from his title, even naming Kassius Ohno the No. 1 contender. After a bit of tension between Sandow and Ohno, Rollins was able to win a match and be added to the match between Sandow and Ohno, now making it a Triple Threat match.
NXT Championship Damien Sandow (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Kassius Ohno
| As Seth Rollins was making his entrance, he was blindside by Kassius Ohno. Ohno tossed Rollins into the stage before delivering a KO Elbow. Rollins was laid out on the stage as Ohno headed to the ring, both he and Damien Sandow sharing a laugh. The official checked on Rollins, as did NXT General Manager Ricardo Rodriguez. Even William Regal left the announce table to tend to him. Not wanting to cancel the main event of the first ever iPPV, Ricardo gave the official permission to call for the bell and start the match. As the official made his way back to the ring, Ricardo and Regal helped Rollins to the back to get medical attention. The Full Sail audience showered Sandow and Ohno with boos as the two heels shook hands before getting their match underway. Sandow and Ohno locked up as the defending champion was able to get Ohno in a Headlock. Ohno pushed him away as Sandow jumped over the top rope and onto the apron. Ohno then pushed him off as Sandow crashed onto the barricade. Ohno threw him back into the ring, covering him to get a two count. Ohno placed Sandow into a corner, hitting him with a few chops and body shots. Ohno backed away before charging towards Sandow. The NXT Champion was able to get a boot up in time as Ohno ran into it. With Ohno stunned, Sandow was able to plant him with a Russian Leg Sweep, followed by the Elbow of Disdain. Sandow covered Ohno, but couldn't get the victory. "We want Rollins" chants filled the atmosphere in the Full Sail Arena as the audience clamored for their favorite. Sandow picked Ohno up, looking for the Terminus. Ohno was able to fight out of it, going for the KO Elbow as Sandow quickly escaped from the ring. Around that moment, William Regal made his way back out to the announce table after tending to the fallen Seth Rollins. Regal had a few things to say about Ohno, claiming that his actions just now were those of a coward. Ohno stepped out onto the ring apron, but Sandow pulled his leg as he landed on the apron on his back. Sandow rolled Ohno back into the ring, keeping his head as he delivered a quick forearm. Back into the ring, Sandow came down onto Ohno with a Knee Drop. Sandow then attempted a Suplex, but Ohno managed to fight out of it. Ohno went for the KO Elbow, but Sandow was able to dodge it. He clotheslined Ohno over the top rope, also sending himself to the outside. As the two of them stirred to their feet, the audience erupted as Seth Rollins ran down to the ring. Immediately after entering, Rollins delivered a Suicide Dive through the second rope onto his two opponents. He went right after Ohno, the man who attempted to eliminate him from the equation. In the ring, Rollins took Ohno down with a Sliced Bread, following that up with the Blackout! Rollins had the cover and, arguably, the victory, but Sandow grabbed him by his leg and pulled him out of the ring. He quickly covered Ohno, stealing the victory and the championship. | Damien Sandow is still your NXT Champion |
- The Full Sail Arena was livid as Sandow hurried out of the ring while being handed back his NXT Championship. He performed a cartwheel on the stage in celebration as he clutched the title to his chest. The commentators noted that once again, Seth Rollins was robbed of a fair shot at the hold. But regardless of what occurred, Damien Sandow will be leaving the first ever NXT iPPV with his championship still intact.

Now I don't really follow NXT as much since I don't even know who half of these guys are in terms of character, so I'll just run through it and pick out the guys I know. I like seeing Corey Graves over Yoshi Tatsu, he's got a big future ahead of him on the main roster, I know it, and Yoshi Tatsu already being an established superstar (despite not doing anything) makes this a big win for Graves. JTG and Big E Langston sounds like a great pairing, but it's always good to see The Usos with a victory. I still think the WWE dropped the ball with those two. Oh, I see Big E and JTG didn't last much longer; Big E face turn? It sucks to see Tyson Kidd out of the Elimination Chase as I'm a big fan of his, and not a big fan of Alex Riley, but at least Richie Steamboat walked out the winner here. Would be good to see him win it all, but for some reason, I see you going with the less obvious option in Trent Barreta. I'm not too familiar with Paige outside of the fact that I know many people like her, so I guess it's a good victory over Tamina, although I do hope Tamina does something on the main roster soon, she's one of the better divas there. Really pleased to see Damien Sandow retain the NXT Championship in the Main Event, although both of his opponents were worthy. But Sandow is golden in the ring and on the microphone, and I look forward to seeing him on the main roster in the future. A good concept for an NXT Pay-Per-View style event.

- Update on Kurt Angle- At the time of this writing, it has been a little over a month since Kurt Angle and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling finally parted ways. Angle wrestled his final match for TNA at Slammiversary, losing to Austin Aries in a No. 1 Contender's match that involved him putting his career on the line. Reports circulated that Angle was interested in returning to the WWE to have one final run before he officially retires as an active in ring competitor. While there was no truth at the time, it is being said that Angle and WWE have officially come to an agreement on a contract that includes a lighter, less stressful traveling schedule. Another selling point for Angle returning is said to be a Hall of Fame spot within the next few years. Whether or not the news of Angle's return is legitimate is currently unknown.[/ul]

- I really hope Angle makes his return to WWE here and if he does return, I could see him returning to the WWE in your diary by SummerSlam or by Night of Champions or by Hell In A Cell but with Angle back in the WWE he can have fresh feuds with Miz, CM Punk, John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Jack Swagger, Brock Lesnar, Ryback, Kane, Sheamus, the sky's the limit for Angle

| Friday Night SmackDown | July 13th, 2012 | Colorado Springs, CO |

- Tonight's show kicked off with Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro issuing an apology for his actions in Corpus Christi last week. Cesaro claimed that he was not in the wrong as the fan, whom he still believes is an illegal immigrant, put his hands on him physically. He only grabbed his shirt, not actually him. Alberto Del Rio interrupted Cesaro, informing him that he is now the No. 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship. And whenever he receives his shot, he vows to prove that Cesaro and the Swiss are beatable.
ALBERTO DEL RIO DEF. JINDER MAHAL: Mahal was looking to avenge that loss that his tag team partner, Drew McIntyre, suffered last week against Del Rio. Unfortunately for him, the Mexican Aristocrat was able to present him with the same fate as Mahal submitted to the Cross Armbreaker.
- As Del Rio was celebrating his victory, he was blindsided by Antonio Cesaro. Cesaro planted Del Rio with the Neutralizer onto the floor on the outside, standing tall over him with the Intercontinental Championship.
- A promo was shown to recap the announcement from last week of Rey Mysterio's retirement, along with the challenge from Sin Cara for one final match against him at SummerSlam.
RYBACK DEF. EZEKIEL JACKSON: For the second week in a row, Ryback was pitted against a superstar who matches him in size. Ezekiel Jackson, who was playing the role of a heel, was looking to squash every bit of momentum Ryback had going for him heading into Tables, Ladders, and Chairs on Sunday. In another amazing feat of strength, Ryback was able to lift Jackson up onto his shoulders and hit Shell Shocked to get the victory.
- Following the match, Kane's pyro and music hit, but he was nowhere to be found. The Big Red Monster appeared on the titantron, telling Ryback that everything he has done so far in the WWE will become meaningless on Sunday. Not only will he snap his undefeated streak in their No Disqualifications match, but he will prove that there is only one dominant monster on SmackDown. Kane let out a sinister laugh as Ryback simply looked, intensity in his eyes as he looks to throw those words back to Kane in two nights at TLC.
- Backstage, AJ Lee was shown in her locker room with Kaitlyn as the two best friends were trying to move on from the issues that they've been having recently. They were interrupted by the Bella Twins, who began to poke fun at AJ's failed relationship with Daniel Bryan. Kaitlyn stuck up for her friend, challenging Nikki and Bri to a tag team match later on tonight. After the Bella Twins left, Kaitlyn told AJ to just forget about them. "They're just two, crazy twins who think they're better than everyone else," said Kaitlyn. "What did you just say?" asked AJ as Kaitlyn realized she had used "that word." Kaitlyn told AJ that she wasn't directing it towards her. AJ looked as if she were in a trance at that point, Kaitlyn not able to snap her out of it.
- Cody Rhodes made his way down to the ring as the No. 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship addressed the WWE Universe on the Tables Match Sunday in which Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty will defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against Randy Orton and Chris Jericho. Rhodes said that Orton will be weakened in that match to the point where he doesn't even know if he'll be 100% come SummerSlam. But it doesn't matter what state he gets Orton on August 19th, because the result will still be the same. His arm will be raised as the new World Heavyweight Champion. Rhodes was then interrupted by Sheamus, who said that all of his issues are now behind him. He no longer has to deal with Antonio Cesaro, Tensai, or Michael Cole. Which means that he can now focus on one thing, and that is to become the World Heavyweight Champion. And he wants to make that statement loud and clear to the No. 1 Contender. Rhodes told Sheamus that it doesn't matter if he's looking for a title shot. He's first in line and nobody comes before him. SmackDown General Teddy Long came out to the stage, saying that while Rhodes is the No. 1 Contender for SummerSlam, nothing is set after that. So he will take Sheamus' request under consideration. But until then, he wants action on SmackDown, which is why Rhodes and Sheamus will go one on one right now.
CODY RHODES DEF. SHEAMUS: A very good match to round out the first hour on SmackDown, two top contenders for the World Heavyweight Championship battling it out. As Sheamus was gearing up fort he Brogue Kick, Ted DiBiase made his way down to ringside. Sheamus attempted to strike him, but DiBiase hopped off of the ring apron in time. The other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Michael McGillicutty, came into the ring from the audience. Sheamus was able to dodge McGillicutty and sent him to the outside. Rhodes took advantage of Sheamus' lack of focus, rolling him up with his feet on the ropes to steal the victory.
- Cody Rhodes rolled to the outside as he, Ted DiBiase, and Michael McGillicutty were all satisfied, Sheamus looking on furiously.
- Backstage, Dean Ambrose was shown in a storage room, looking through several chairs. When Matt Striker asked Ambrose what he was doing, he said that he was looking for a chair that was the most similar to his heart - cold and unforgiving. Ambrose pulled out a chair and began striking the floor with it, creating a huge dent in the chair. "Now just imagine the dent in this chair fitting Daniel Bryan like a hat," said Ambrose before resuming his "chair search."
THE BELLA TWINS DEF. AJ LEE AND KAITLYN: A decent tag team Divas bout here. AJ Lee was clearly not focused, still damaged mentally over Kaitlyn using the term "crazy" earlier. As Kaitlyn was attempting to make the tag, AJ simply stared at the ground with no focus on the match. Kaitlyn tired to talk to her, but AJ wasn't listening. A bit of Twin Magic from the Bella Twins and a Neckbreaker were able to give them the victory.
- After the match, AJ seemed to have snapped out of whatever daze she was in. She tried to assist Kaitlyn up to her feet, but Kaitlyn delivered a slap to her! Kaitlyn left the ring to a bit of heat from the WWE Universe as AJ looked on, not clear whether or not she was sad or angry.
- Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long stated that he has a major announcement to make this Sunday at TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.
SANTINO MARELLA DEF. HEATH SLATER: A decent, comedy bout. After Slater got into a war of words with Santino's tag team partner, Derrick Bateman, he turned around to be met with the Cobra, giving Santino the victory.
- Following the match, Santino celebrated his victory, only to be attacked by Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre. The two assaulted him as Derrick Bateman got involved, trying to even the odds for his partner. Unfortunately for the face comedy duo, Slater was back on his feet as it became a three on two battle. McIntyre and Mahal tossed Bateman to the outside as Slater planted Santino with the Smash Hit. Slater, Mahal, and McIntyre stood tall in the ring as Michael Cole stated that it would appear that Slater has finally formed his "band."
- The commentary trio quickly ran down the card for TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, which is live this Sunday only on pay-per-view.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RANDY ORTON AND DANIEL BRYAN FOUGHT TO A NO CONTEST: An incredible main even, which was a rematch of one of the best matches of the year back at Over The Limit. As Orton was going for the RKO, Bryan inadvertently pushed him into the referee. With the official out, Bryan attempted a German Suplex, but had it countered into an Inverted Backbreaker. As Orton stirred to his feet, he was attacked by the WWE Tag Team Champions, Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty.
- The audience booed as DiBiase and McGillicutty assaulted Orton in the ring. McGillicutty looked under the ring, bringing out a table and sliding it into the ring. At that moment, the boos from the crowd turned to cheers as Chris Jericho hit the ring to even the odds. He and Orton were able to get the better of the WWE Tag Team Champions, at least until Cody Rhodes got involved. The No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship joined McGillicutty and DiBiase, the numbers advantage once again on their side in this brawl. Not having anything to do with the ongoing situation, Daniel Bryan decided to leave the scene. That didn't happen for him, though, as he was attacked by Dean Ambrose. Ambrose and Bryan brawled into the crowd as Sheamus made his way down to the ring. Sheamus, Orton, and Jericho brawled with Rhodes, DiBiase, and McGillicutty in the ring as Ambrose and Bryan did the same in the audience, Michael Cole stating that this kind of carnage is what Tables, Ladders, and Chairs will be all about on Sunday.

Decent show that did its job in putting the finishing touches on the pay-per-view. Del Rio, Ryback and Cody all got wins to carry their momentum into the pay-per-view and the main event was nice with a fun chaotic brawl that touched on the other big matches. You've got a good line-up for TLC, though it is weird to have your world champion in a tag-title match. But then again I guess Orton needs something to do since his match with Rhodes is set in stone for SummerSlam. A nice job here and I'm looking forward to seeing what you have for the pay-per-view.

- Now that Smackdown is out of the way, now we can focus on TLC finally because TLC is finally upon us, your pay per view is here and now we can finally get to the good stuff because I can definitely smell a heel turn here at this pay per view but by who? I see Jericho turning back heel turning on Orton allowing Orton to be beaten down and put through a table getting revenge on Orton for punting him in the skull over 3 years ago in 2010 in the WWE, with Orton then defending the title against both Jericho and Rhodes in a Triple Threat Match but if not, then I hope Cena is the one to turn heel if not here at TLC then on RAW 1000 for sure

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 9th July 2012...Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal as a tag team permanently could be quite good, I imagine they'd be quite a radical coupling (sans the 3MB gimmick). Fair win against Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel, whom I feel sorry for after losing the WWE Tag Team Championships. R-Truth beating Mason Ryan is fine - is Ryan back on television now? Miz TV opening up the show was fine, another good promo between CM Punk and The Miz, this Tables, Ladders and Chairs match this Sunday will be a great end to their rivalry, I'd be satisfied. Nice exchange, nothing set up for the main event? I wonder if you're holding out on something. Kofi Kingston defeating Roman Reigns is fine, but I don't like how Reigns' first match went without much promotion or advertisement. Plus, the finish was a little too old-school for 2012, me thinks. It made Reigns look silly, if anything. Evan Bourne and Tensai buddying up tonight sounds cool. Christian defeating Tensai was fine, but cleanly I wasn't too fond of. Also, the tornado DDT putting Tensai away? What's up with the Killswitch? Strange. Looking forward to seeing this stage of the Bourne and Christian at Money in the Bank, I think it's time that Christian won the WWE United States Championship after such a passable first-half of 2012 for him. John Cena's promo was heated, talking about The Rock is cool, another match between the two is fine I guess. Dolph Ziggler then coming out is cool, I'm just confused about where this is going. It's a shame that Ziggler has been used as such a buffer in this rivalry between Rock and Cena, this feud hasn't really helped Dolph at all apart from developing more of an established character. Damien Sandow segment on RAW? Very interesting. Sly promotion for the NXT iPPV this Wednesday, clearly. Wouldn't have hurt to have him put in a match, either, but nevermind. Zack Ryder defeating Jack Swagger was cool, All World Promotions isn't all that successful eh. Shame about Jack Swagger failing again, though. I want more of the Prime Time Players. It did the job though, preparing Ryder for action against Reigns this Sunday, however if Reigns is to be unstoppable, he should definitely grasp the win on Sunday. Natalya beating Maxine puts her over six days prior to her WWE Divas Championship match, no problem here. I'd love to see Tamina get in a shot at the title, too; considering that she is the next best thing to the recently endeavored Beth Phoenix as a monster diva. Eve cowering out of appearing was smooth, too. Sheamus takes on Mason Ryan this Sunday on the Pre-Show? Why? I'm thinking Sheamus deserves a run with the World Heavyweight Championship by the end of 2012 though, there is literally nothing else left for him to do now. Up last, wow, Wade Barrett's returned. Heated promo with the Miz and Barrett, picking up where the opening segment left off. Barrett wants Brad Maddox eh? I wonder if we'll be seeing Barrett re-enter the WWE Championship hunt after Money in the Bank. Good brawl to end the show, a big hype package for Money in the Bank this Sunday, no real problems for this progression edition of RAW, hopefully things continue to pick up nearer SummerSlam.
WWE NXT iPPV: Wednesday 11th July 2012...Adam Cole beating Rick Victor, okay. Alright, time to get onto the actual Internet exclusive pay-per-view! Adrian Neville beating Mike Dalton was a hot opening contest, nothing to complain about here. Up next, Corey Graves with a win against Yoshi Tatsu is fine, I do think that the punk gimmick for Graves just isn't working, however. Hoping that Graves makes it far, nonetheless. Sofia Cortez then beating Raquel Diaz is fine, not a lot to mention here, representing the two main eventing NXT divas, Paige and Summer Rae. The Usos defeating Big E Langston and JTG was expected, and hopefully this allows Big E to get over with the fans. You have the potential future of the company in your hands. I think if anybody could beat Sandow in such an entertaining and rivetting angle, it's Langston the bully against Sandow the cowardly NXT Champion. So this leaves us with the three most important matches/actually interesting matches on the card. I'm still unsure as to why you had the Elimination Chase feature only babyfaces, considering that it sort of makes it slightly clear that Sandow could retain the NXT Championship tonight. Nonetheless, it made the match result unpredictable, and it seemed very entertaining although you should have made a note of the rules to this match. I think this should have been a one-night affair, with all three stages of the Elimination Chase taking part throughout the night - since you used that as the sole selling point when hyping this iPPV. Tyson Kidd is eliminated? That sucks, really does. I'm hoping that Trent Barreta somehow manages to win this thing, but I have a feeling you'll be going with Riley. The main eventers' interviews with Jim Ross gives our main event that big fight feel, I won't lie. It's a shame that Bo Rotundo got injured, but nevermind. Hopefully he debuts a new look upon returning, though. Up next, Paige getting the victory against Tamina really puts Paige in a good place, I'm expecting her to be on WWE television by the year's end, definitely. I liked Summer Rae's involvement, too. And finally, big NXT Championship match between Kassius Ohno, Seth Rollins and Damien Sandow. I loved how you focused so much time on Ohno and Rollins, whilst having Sandow slyly retain and walk out still champion. I'm hoping that this leads on to big things for Ohno and Rollins, one of those guys has to be put on television very soon, hopefully. Overall though, outside of the three main matches, this show was a dud and nothing really interesting. Outside of those three top matches, this show didn't really do anything, in fact it was practically an extended episode of NXT. Why pay for something you can watch for free? I don't know, I'm excited for the direction of the brand though, I just think this show should have been built up for several more months and not put out with two months promotion. Another thing is how it's the Wednesday before Sunday's expensive Money in the Bank pay-per-view - considering the paying audience, it may affect the buyrate for Money in the Bank. Maybe keep that in mind for future iPPVs.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 13th July 2012...Good that this is in quick results mode, I'm not a fan of the centered format, for future reference. The old format looked neater. Alberto Del Rio pronouncing himself as the number one contender to the WWE Intercontinental Championship is cool - I can only imagine that they'll square off the title at Money in the Bank on Sunday. Del Rio defeating Jinder Mahal in the opening contest was fine, slightly weak opening contest compared to typical opening contest standards, though. I liked that it had backstory with Del Rio beating Drew McIntyre, though. It's a decent establishment angle for Del Rio to shine as a face, although I can't see him taking the gold off of Cesaro just yet. Maybe SummerSlam. Ryback defeating Ezekiel Jackson was fine, Zeke as a heel must've been strange after playing a face for so long. I don't understand why he's still a part of the company though, personally. He's sort of expired. Big E Langston is the new big black man in town. Kane and Ryback's feud is very interesting, even if I don't think it's been given enough backstory to appear on a pay-per-view show. Nonetheless, looking forward to seeing how you book this transaction of Ryback continuing his streak, in his first real encounter with a legitimate superstar that can challenge him for the streak. AJ Lee and Kaitlyn's segment was amusing, liked AJ's encounter with the word "crazy" being hostile. A heel angle for AJ perhaps? Cody Rhodes talking about SummerSlam is nice, and I liked the segment following with Theodore Long making the first-hour main event. Cody defeating Sheamus was a solid bout, Rhodes winning was strange. The outside interference from Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty however made it satisfying. Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan is one of the main matches I care about for Sunday's sow, should be very interesting. The Bella Twins getting the win over AJ Lee and Kaitlyn was unexpected, I liked the narrative with AJ and Kaitlyn though. Talk about character enhancement. Santino Marella defeating Heath Slater was cool, and oh God no. I hate that you went with Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre for the 3MB faction. I'm not fond of this decision whatsoever, there was so many different possibilities. Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan's battle then coming to a pause with the involvement of Dibiase and McGillicutty was great, with a heated close to SmackDown. Sheamus and Jericho's inclusion with Rhodes' boys is very nice, although Rhodes, McGillicutty and Dibiase need a name. A decent show for what it was. Looking forward to Money in the Bank, although with your change in booking pay-per-views it looks weak in comparison to the previous shows. Still looking very ideal though, looking forward to it.

YouTube Pre-Show Sheamus def. Mason Ryan *Following the match, Sheamus was attacked by Cody Rhodes and the WWE Tag Team Champions, Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty. Unable to overcome the odds, Sheamus was put through a table by the trio*
After the signature WWE intro, a video package was shown that began with some of the most barbaric highlights from past matches that involved the utilization of tables, ladders, and chairs. We were then shown the events at the end of last month's No Way Out, which saw RAW assistant General Manager Brad Maddox shock the world as he assisted The Miz in capturing the vacant WWE Championship. Maddox and Miz were not able to escape freely as CM Punk was quickly named the No. 1 Contender for the gold, receiving it tonight in a match with three specific elements - Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.
"And now, WWE presents....TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs," said the voice over as the pyrotechnics display was set off. Nine Lashes' "Anthem Of The Lonely" blared over the PA system as cameras scanned over the audience here in Phoenix. The commentary trio of Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Booker T welcomed everyone to TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs! Shots of the several weapons around the ring and stage as tonight's major matches were quickly discussed. In a Chairs Match, two bitter rivals will have the opportunity to settle the score as Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose wage war. WWE Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty face their toughest challenge yet as they defend their gold against World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Chris Jericho. And the champions decided not to wait until that match occurs to make their presence felt tonight, Cole stating that he would get more in depth on what he means later for those who missed the YouTube Pre-Show. And lastly, the WWE Championship hangs in the balance as The Miz defends against CM Punk in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. Cole sent things away to Justin Roberts, who announced that the opening contest is a Ladder Match for the United States Championship!
Ladder Match for the United States Championship Evan Bourne (c) vs. Christian
| The bell sounded as Bourne charged towards Christian, who dodged the shot and retaliated with a heavy slap. Bourne backed away into a corner as Christian hit him with a few Knife Edge Chops. Christian then went to the outside to grab a ladder, introducing it for the first time in this bout. After he slid it into the ring, Bourne delivered a Baseball Slide that sent the ladder into the face of Christian. Bourne got a hold of Christian, bouncing his head off of the announce table. He slid the ladder into the ring, looking to climb it and retrieve his United States Championship. Christian was able to get back in the ring in time, grabbing Bourne's leg and pulling him off of the ladder. Bourne bounced off of the ropes as Christian grabbed his arms. He tried to turn him into position for the Killswitch, but Bourne pushed him away. Christian almost collided with the ladder, but he stopped himself. Bourne escaped to the outside for a breather, but wasn't allowed one as Christian Springboarded from a corner to the outside onto Bourne. Captain Charisma slapped his chest as his "peeps" in Phoenix were thoroughly behind him. Christian went back into the ring to climb the ladder, nearly reaching it before Bourne was able to catch up to him. He delivered a dropkick to Christian's legs, sending him crashing to the mat. Bourne slid another ladder into the ring, placing Christian on top of one side and slamming the other onto his frontal area. Bourne was back on the task of climbing the ladder, but Christian was able to stop him. He struck Bourne a few times in the back before grabbing him in Powerbomb position. Christian then Powerbomb'd Bourne onto a ladder! Bourne rived in pain as Christian jumped to the outside of the ring, hitting Bourne with a quick uppercut jab. He pulled Bourne to the outside, looking for the Killswitch onto the floor, but Bourne was able to push Christian away again. Bourne climbed onto the ring apron, leaping off and hitting Christian with a Hurricarana that sent him face-first into the steel ring post. Bourne tossed Christian back into the ring, looking to deliver more punishment to Captain Charisma. Bourne placed a ladder on top of the turnbuckle, backing Christian up for an Irish Whip. Christian was able to slide under the ladder, causing Bourne to charge towards him. Christian was able to catch Bourne by surprise with a Spear, keeping a hold of his legs as he Slingshotted him into the ladder. Bourne crashed to the outside as Christian climbed onto the ladder that was positioned on the turnbuckle. He leaped off, landing on Bourne. Bourne stirred to his feet as he neared the steel steps, Christian getting an idea. He called for the Spear was Bourne got to his feet. Fortunately for Bourne, he was able to move out of harm's way as Christian collided his already-injured shoulder with the steel steps. Bourne took advantage of this, pushing Christian shoulder-first into the ring post. Bourne set up a ladder with one end on the ring apron and another on the announce table. He placed Christian on top of it, heading up to the top turnbuckle. The audience booed as Bourne took a bit too much time taunting them, Christian removing himself from the ladder. Bourne slid another ladder into the ring, trying to slide it back out underneath the bottom rope and hit Christian. Christian was able to move out of the way as the ladder spilled onto the floor. Christian grabbed Bourne's legs, pulling him out of the ring and onto the ladder. With Bourne down on the outside, Christian grabbed the ladder and tossed it back into the ring. He set that ladder up while taking the second ladder in the ring. He positioned it so that one end was sitting on one of the rungs of the set-up ladder, while the other end was sitting on the top rope. He began scaling the ladder as Bourne slowly made his way back into the ring. He pulled himself onto the ladder that was positioned on the rung and the top rope. Christian had the United States Championship in one hand as Bourne repeatedly struck his leg. Christian kicked Bourne away as he nearly fell back off the ladder, but was able to keep his balance. Christian stepped onto the same ladder as Bourne, jumping towards him with a Spear from that ladder through the ladder on the outside! "Holy sh*t!" chants rang throughout the arena as Bourne was motionless on top of the bent in half ladder. Christian was able to get back to his feet, sliding into the ring. Christian climbed the ladder as the audience members were shown on their feet cheering him on. Christian grabbed the strap of the United States Championship, pulling it down. | Christian is your NEW United States Champion |
The Phoenix crowd erupted as Christian stared at the United States Championship for a bit before raising it high in the air. Several replays from this incredible match were shown, focusing on the final spot with the Spear from one ladder onto another. Several officials tended to Bourne, who had not made a single movement since he crashed through the ladder. But for Christian, he can finally celebrate as the war is over, and he will be leaving Tables, Ladders, and Chairs as the new United States Champion.
Backstage, WWE Champion The Miz was shown in his locker room with Brad Maddox still absent and Roman Reigns elsewhere to prepare for his own match later on tonight. When Miz turned around, he was greeted by the NXT Champion, Damien Sandow. "Good evening, Miz. I understand that you are in a precarious situation tonight, being forced to defend your WWE Championship against an undeserving, unqualified CM Punk." Miz told Sandow that while all of that is true, there's nothing he can do. "So why are you here?" asked Miz. Sandow said that he himself is coming off of a championship defense that many deemed "impossible." "Might I recommend that you think outside of the box. You do not need the assistance of anyone else to retain your illustrious championship. All you need is an equalizer. Think about it in that manner, Miz. You're welcome," said Sandow as he left the room.
Singles Match Brodus Clay vs. Bray Wyatt
| The bell sounded as Brodus Clay went right after Bray Wyatt, striking him repeatedly in a corner. The official was able to restrain Brodus before he could make the five count to disqualify him. Wyatt charged towards Brodus with a clothesline, taking down the Funkasaurus. He stomped away on Brodus for a bit before keeping him in a rest hold. Wyatt placed his hand on Brodus' forehead, speaking in tongues. Brodus fought his way out of the hold, striking Wyatt in the mid-section several times. He ran the ropes to strike Wyatt, who moved out of the way and planted Brodus with a Russian Leg Sweep. Wyatt got the cover, but Brodus was able to kick out at two. Wyatt came down onto Brodus with a Running Knee, once again only garnering a two count. Wyatt then began to choke out Brodus, who was able to use his strength to pry Wyatt's hand off of his throat. Brodus hit Wyatt with a few jabs, keeping him a corner. The Funkasaurus hit Wyatt with a Corner Splash, which didn't show much effect. Brodus hit another one, Wyatt still one his feet. Brodus finally hit a third one that did the job of getting Wyatt down. Brodus covered him for a two count. Brodus attempted a Running Splash, but Wyatt was able to move out of the way. With Brodus down, Wyatt hit a Running Senton, but somehow only scored a two count. He attempted to Suplex Brodus, but the Funkasaurus was able to prevent it. He hit Wyatt with an elbow top of his head, backing him into a corner. Brodus charged towards him, but Wyatt was able to move out of harm's way. Brodus crashed his sternum into the turnbuckle as he dropped to the mat. Wyatt then charged towards Brodus, crashing his backside into the side of Brodus' head. Brodus was dazed as Wyatt danced with his body, shouting "You don't need a disco ball to dance with me, my child." Wyatt kissed Brodus' forehead before planting him with the Bray Baptism to get the victory. | Bray Wyatt defeats Brodus Clay |
Wyatt remained on top of Brodus Clay as he laughed manically, picking up his biggest win yet. He rolled Brodus out of the ring, dragging him up the entrance ramp by his legs. Where Bray Wyatt was taking Brodus Clay was unknown, but we know that the eerie Wyatt has defeated the Funkasaurus and may be one step closer to "saving his child."
A promo was shown for the 1000th episode of RAW, featuring Triple H looking back on the night he made his return in Madison Square Garden in 2002. RAW 1000 is live next Monday on USA.
Returning to the arena, Michael Cole addressed the situation that occurred during the YouTube Pre-Show. After Sheamus defeated Mason Ryan, he was attacked by the trio of Cody Rhodes and the WWE Tag Team Champions, Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty as a continuation of what we saw at the end of SmackDown this past Friday. The three of them drove the Celtic Warrior through a table, using him to send a message to Chris Jericho and the World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton.
No Disqualifications Kane vs. Ryback
| The crowd here in Phoenix were ready for this collision, all chanting "Feed me more!" in unison with Ryback. After the bell sounded, Kane struck first with an uppercut, but Ryback retaliated with a shot of his own. The two monsters traded blows, neither being affected. Kane ran the ropes and struck Ryback, who made no movement. Ryback did the same, barely rattling the Big Red Monster. Kane tried one more time, but Ryback moved out of the way and took Kane down with a Running Shoulder Tackle. He grabbed Kane by his head, repeatedly smashing it into the canvas. Kane grabbed Ryback's throat, looking to hit the Chokeslam already. Ryback was able to strike Kane's arm, releasing him. Ryback charged towards Kane with a Clothesline that sent both of them over the top rope. Ryback geared up for the Meathook Clothesline, but Kane was able to counter it and hit a Chokeslam onto the floor. He quickly rolled Ryback into the ring, covering him for a two count. Kane became frustrated with the resiliency of the undefeated monster as the commentators noted that Kane may have found his match. Kane grabbed Ryback for another Chokeslam, but Ryback was able to slide out of it. When Kane turned around, Ryback planted him with a huge Spinebuster. Ryback signaled that he was ready to "Finish him!" He placed Kane in position for Shell Shocked, but Kane was able to use his strength to prevent the maneuver. Kane fought out of it as this time, he clotheslined Ryback over the top rope. Kane placed Ryback in position of a Tombstone Piledriver, but Ryback was able to counter it as he now had Kane on his shoulder. He drove the Big Red Monster's back into the steel ring post before planting him on the floor with a Running Powerslam. Ryback was looking to his Shell Shocked on the outside, actually lifting Kane off of his feet this time. However, Kane was able to instantly slide off of Ryback's shoulder, planting his adversary with a Sidewalk Slam. Kane tried to toss Ryback back into the ring, but he wasn't able to as Ryback struck him with several elbows to his med section. Ryback hit Kane with a Headbutt as he backed away. Ryback then charged towards Kane, Spearing him through the barricade! The audience roared as both monsters were down and out on the floor. The replay was shown several times as the commentators put over the effort from both Kane and Ryback. Ryback was the first to get to his feet, Kane not too far behind him. Ryback got into the ring first, striking Kane as he stood on the ring apron. Kane was able to block his shots and grab his throat as he stepped over the top rope. Kane planted Ryback with a Chokeslam, but decided that it wasn't enough. He lifted Ryback into position for the Tombstone, but Ryback was able to slide off of his shoulders. When Kane turned around, Ryback drilled him with a Meathook Clothesline. Ryback signaled that it was all over as the audience went crazy for him. Ryback then lifted Kane up for Shell Shocked, actually hitting it this time! Ryback covered the Big Red Monster to finally get the victory. | Ryback defeats Kane |
The crowd erupted for Ryback as he got to his feet, raising his arms in victory as he just scored the biggest win of his life. Despite just overcoming Kane, Ryback still chanted "Feed me more!" as he remains undefeated here at TLC.
Backstage, Brad Maddox was shown in an office as the camera panned to the side to reveal Mr. McMahon. The Chairman told Maddox that he should be reminded of the stipulation for tonight's main event between The Miz and CM Punk. "If anyone, and I mean anyone interferes, their contract will be terminated." Maddox said that he understands that clearly and vows not to get involved during the match. "But Vinny, I was also wondering just when you're going to put me in charge of RAW?" asked Maddox. Vince told Maddox that first of all, it's not "Vinny." "And second, I don't know why I should even put you in charge. After all, the truth just came out that you screwed Wade Barrett out of the WWE Championship. But at the same time, a few things about Ric Flair during his tenure as General Manager have come to my attention. I'm not ready to make my decision right now, but I will at RAW 1000. Because there, I will give both you and Flair a Performance Review."
Divas Championship Eve (c) vs. Natalya
| Before the match began, Edge ordered the official to keep Natalya away from her before entering the ring. Eve then picked Natalya up, only to plant her with a Neckbreaker to get the win. | Eve is still your Divas Champion |

To add insult to injury, Eve posed near Natalya, who was still holding her leg in thriving pain, and asked for a photo op. Eve left up the entrance ramp to a large amount of heat, still reigning as the Divas Championship. If neither Beth Phoenix or Natalya could bring an end to Eve's reign, who can?

Cara challenged Mysterio to one final match at SummerSlam, which he accepted.

Teddy said that he has as well, especially after two of SmackDown's own just put on one of the best matches of the year. But speaking of SmackDown, he has major news regarding the brand. News that will change the complexion of Friday nights in the WWE forever. "I have in my hands a contract. A contract that was finalized earlier today. I am very, very pleased to announce that I have re-signed one of the greatest athletes to ever grace a ring, and he will be making his return very soon as a part of SmackDown. He is not only a former WWE Champion, but the only Olympic Gold Medalist in WWE history. Ladies and gentlemen, coming soon to SmackDown, Kurt Angle!" Backstage, Matt Striker was standing by with Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, and Jinder Mahal. All three were noticeably different in terms of attire, looking more like rock stars than anything else. Striker asked why the three of them assaulted Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman on SmackDown, and why they were horribly dressed? "First of all, Striker, you're just jealous that you can't pull off the look of a rock star. Second, we did what we did because rock stars don't follow any guidelines, baby!" said Slater as McIntyre and Mahal agreed. "You guys are rock stars?" asked Striker. "You're damn right we are! And we're the biggest act to ever grace the planet!" shouted McIntyre. "Heath Slater held auditions, and myself and McIntyre blew the competition out of the water with our musical talents," said Mahal. "I saw something in McIntyre and Mahal that I didn't see in anyone else. These two are true artists who know their craft. And together, we will be the biggest musical act in history. Forget the Beatles. Forget Queen. Forget The Rolling Stones. 3MB is where it's at, baby!" shouted Slater as the three of them left the interview scene.
Returning to ringside, the commentary trio had no idea how to react to what we just saw from 3MB. "I think the three of us are better musicians, and we don't even know play anything," said Booker T. Nonetheless, Cole shifted things over to a more serious note because coming up next, bodies will crash through tables with the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line. A video package was shown that began with the contract signing between World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes for their match at SummerSlam. After the signing, Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty attacked Orton, driving him through a table. The next week, Rhodes, DiBiase, and McGillicutty would claim that they are not an expansion of the Legacy, but three men with one common goal - save the WWE from Randy Orton. Later on in the night, Rhodes' arch rival Chris Jericho would make the save for Orton. It was later announced by SmackDown GM Teddy Long that at TLC, DiBiase and McGillicutty would defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against Orton and Jericho in a Tables Match.
Tables Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty (c) vs. World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Chris Jericho
| As DiBiase and McGillicutty were making their entrances, Orton and Jericho went right after them as the match went underway. Jericho and DiBiase brawled on the stage, while Orton and McGillicutty brawled at ringside. DiBiase attempted to slam Jericho through a table on the stage, but Y2J was able to prevent that from happening. Orton tossed McGillicutty into a barricade, striking him with repeated closed fists to his forehead. Orton then clotheslined McGillicutty over the barricade as their brawl spilled into the audience here in Phoenix. On the stage, Jericho delivered a dropkick to DiBiase that sent him rolling down the ramp. In the audience, Orton borrow a cane from someone and struck McGillicutty in the back with it. The challengers were in full control as DiBiase and Jericho entered the ring. Jericho quickly grabbed a table, but DiBiase didn't allow him the time to set it up. He was able to get Jericho in a corner, kicking him in the mid section a few times. McGillicutty was soon back over the barricade, but Orton caught up to him. With McGillicutty's feet on the barricade, Orton planted him with a DDT onto the floor. The World Heavyweight Champion ran into the ring as DiBiase still had the upperhand on Jericho. Orton took DiBiase down with several clotheslines before sending him over the top rope. Orton set up a table, looking to Suplex DiBiase right through it. DiBiase was able to prevent that from happening, fighting out of it and hitting Orton with a few strikes. Suddenly, Jericho launched himself over the top rope and onto DiBiase. Together, Orton and Jericho attempted to Suplex DiBiase through the table, which surely would have been it. Fortunately for DiBiase, McGillicutty quickly moved the table out of the way as the Suplex connected with the floor. McGillicutty picked up the table, using it to take out both Orton and Jericho simultaneously. McGillicutty set the table up in the ring, grabbing Orton an sliding him in. He placed Orton on top of the table, striking him a few times in the process. McGillicutty climbed to the top rope, but Jericho was able to push him off as he crashed to the floor. DiBiase pulled Jericho off of the ring apron, causing him to land face-first. DiBiase then went after Orton inside the ring, but was hit with a Scoop Slam. Orton brought the table into the center of the ring, coiling as he prepared to strike with the RKO. Suddenly, he was attacked from behind by Cody Rhodes, who came in through the audience. Rhodes stomped away on the man who he will meet for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, McGillicutty joining the ambush. The audience soon erupted as Sheamus ran down to the ring, immediately taking McGillicutty's head off with a Brogue Kick. Rhodes bolted out of the ring as Sheamus made chase for him. Ted DiBiase tried to take advantage of the situation, grabbing Orton and looking to plant him through the table. Chris Jericho intervened, hitting DiBiase with a Codebreaker. He placed DiBiase on top of the table, looking to finish this match and capture the WWE Tag Team Championships. A dazed McGillicutty grabbed Jericho's leg, preventing him from leaping. This allowed DiBiase to push Jericho off the top rope. McGillicutty began taking apart the announce table as the commentators knew what was coming. "They did this last month to Rey Mysterio, and his career is ending as a result of it. And now, they're looking to do the same to Chris Jericho," said Michel Cole. DiBiase and McGillicutty then drove Jericho through the announce table! Because it was the announce table, it did not count as a victory, but it may as well have as Jericho was subsequently eliminated from the equation. DiBiase and McGillicutty slid back into the ring as Orton went right after them. The Viper was able to Dropkick McGillicutty out of the ring. DiBiase went back after Orton, grabbing him in position for Dream Street. Orton fought out of it, hitting DiBiase with his pattented Inverted Backbreaker. Orton placed DiBiase in position for the Powerbomb, the table set up right next to them. However, Cody Rhodes came running back into the ring, striking Orton in the back of his knee. Sheamus was still chasing after Cody as they ran through the audience. With Orton's knee momentarily stunned, DiBiase and McGillicutty took advantage of the situation, putting Orton through the table. | Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty are still your WWE Tag Team Champions |
The audience booed as DiBiase and McGillicutty were handed back their WWE Tag Team Championships, raising them high in the air as they have scored the biggest win of their careers. The champions continue their reign, and they did it by driving two future Hall of Famers through tables. Orton slowly regained his consciousness, knowing that the victory was stolen from him by the man he defends the World Heavyweight Championship against at SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes.
A video package was shown for the WWE's Anti-Bullying campaign, Be A Star.
Returning to the live feed, CM Punk was shown in the backstage area making his way down to the ring. Around this time one year ago, Punk's life and career changed forever. And tonight may be another similar moment because coming up next, it is our main event for the WWE Championship. A video package was shown that began with The Miz stealing the title at No Way Out with an assistance from Brad Maddox. Punk would be named the No. 1 Contender the next night, and in a match that alters careers and lives - Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. And a special stipulation has been put in place by Mr. McMahon. If anyone interferes, their contracts with World Wrestling Entertainment will be terminated.
After the promo finished, the theme of CM Punk hit as the audience erupted for the Best in the World. "It's clobberin' time!" shouted Punk as he made his way down to the ring, walking under a few ladders to reiterate his belief that "luck is for losers." After Punk was settled in the ring, he sat cross-legged while starting up at the WWE Championship. The Miz's theme hit next to a chorus of boos from Phoenix. The Awesome One was as focused as ever, knowing that if he is to walk out tonight as the WWE Champion, he must do it on his own. Justin Roberts gave the pre-match introductions as the moment has finally arrived. No shenanigans, no interference. Whoever wins this match, they will have earned it.

Miz grabbed a chair as Punk remained on top of the ladder. Punk was able to move out of the way as Miz only caught the ladder with the chair. Punk slid to the outside of the ring as Miz went after him, attempting to hit a Baseball Slide. Punk was able to move out the way as Miz landed on his feet on the outside. Punk caught Miz with a Roundhouse Kick that knocked him out. Punk began taking apart the Spanish announce table, placing Miz on it. Punk climbed up to the top turnbuckle, but Miz rolled off of the table. The audience booed as Punk looked disappointed, but leaped off anyways onto Miz. Punk tossed Miz back into the ring, setting a ladder up in a corner. Punk attempted to whip Miz into the ladder, but it was countered as Punk was the one who was sent crashing into the ladder. With Punk backed against the ladder, Miz charged towards him and connected with a Corner Splash. With Punk down on the canvas, Miz threw the ladder onto his body. Miz grabbed two chairs, setting them up in the ring. He then placed the ladder onto the chairs, both ends sitting on a chair. He grabbed Punk and looked as if he were attempting to hit the Skull Crushing Finale onto the ladder. Punk fought back with a few elbows, finding his way out of the hold. Miz hit Punk with a few shots before running the ropes. The tables were turned on Miz as Punk tossed him with an Overhead Slam onto the ladder. Miz rived in pain as Punk grabbed him into position for the GTS. He hit it as Miz fell back onto the ladder remains. Punk grabbed another ladder, setting it up as he was ready to retrieve the WWE Championship. As he was scaling the ladder, Miz pushed the official who was tending to him into the ladder. Miz began climbing, but Punk was back into the equation by climbing the other side. Miz and Punk traded blows at the top of the ladder before Punk started hitting the defending champion with several Headbutts. Both men were dazed as they fell off of the ladder and crashed onto the canvas. Both men rolled to the outside. Miz got to his feet first, charging towards Punk. He was able to dodge Miz's Clothesline and hoisted him up to his shoulders. Punk connected with the Go To Sleep as Miz fell back onto the Spanish announce table. Punk realized that he had a second chance. He climbed to the top turnbuckle, looking to recreate a scene from Over The Limit two months ago. Punk then leaped off with an Elbow Drop to Miz through the table! The audience roared as both men were down and out, the title still in the balance. Punk crawled to the ring as Miz slowly did the same a few moments later. Punk went inside the ring, but Miz looked underneath the ring. Rather than pulling out a table, ladder, or chair, Miz pulled out something different - a beer bottle. Punk entered the ring as Miz soon did the same, but with the bottle in his hands. They both scaled the ladder as it was a race to the top. Punk then saw the beer bottle as he stopped at the top. Miz tried to open the bottle, undoubtedly to drench Punk with it. Punk fought back with a few shots to Miz's body, soon taking possession of the beer bottle. Punk cracked the bottle over Miz's head as the champion fell off the ladder, out of the ring, and through a table! The audience could be seen on their feet cheering Punk on as he was all alone at the top of the ladder. And just like that, the "Best in the World" is once again the WWE Champion. | CM Punk is your NEW WWE Champion |
The audience erupted as CM Punk raised the WWE Championship high in the air, the announcement being made that we have a new champion. Miz remained motionless on the remains of the table on the outside as the official tended to him. Punk took a moment while at the top of the ladder to catch his breath, but soon noticed Roman Reigns heading down to the ring. With the match now over and the interference stipulation no longer in effect, all hell was bound to break loose. Punk quickly dropped from the ladder as he dodged a strike from Reigns, able to land a few of his own. As Punk was in control of Reigns, he was struck from behind with a chair by Brad Maddox. Maddox shouted orders at Reigns as he whaled away onto the new WWE Champion with a chair. Soon, the audience popped as Wade Barrett hit the ring, kicking Reigns in the mid section and taking the steel chair out of his hands. Barrett then struck Reigns in the back with the chair, causing him to roll out of the ring. Barrett turned around to find out that he was now all alone in the ring with Maddox, the man who wrongfully stripped him of the WWE Championship over a month ago. Maddox trembled in fear as the audience went nuts for Barrett to make his move. Maddox quickly escaped through the audience, but Barrett made chase for him through the arena here in Phoenix.
Back in the ring, CM Punk was still out on the canvas, feeling the effects of both the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, and the repeated chair shots from Roman Reigns. With whatever bit of energy he still had in him, Punk crawled towards his newly won WWE Championship. At that moment, the theme of Dolph Ziggler hit. Ziggler rushed to the ring with his Money In The Bank briefcase, handing it to the official as he rushed him to ringside. Justin Roberts made the announcement that Ziggler was cashing in his briefcase as Punk tried to get to his feet. Everyone here in Phoenix were standing as the moment has finally arrived, and Ziggler is going all in on a vulnerable Punk.

The official presented him with the WWE Championship as Ziggler quickly snatched it out of his hands. He stared at the title for a bit before climbing onto the second turnbuckle, raising the title high in the air. Part of the audience celebrated along with Ziggler, while the other part watched in shock and disbelief. Booker T and Jerry Lawler stated that CM Punk went through hell and back for the WWE Championship, and it was stolen from him by Ziggler. Regardless of whether or not it was "right," the journey is now over for the Show Off. Back in April, he captured the Money In The Bank briefcase at WrestleMania XXVIII. As of tonight, Ziggler will no longer be referred to as Mr. Money In The Bank or the man who can't win the big one. He will simply be known as one thing - the new WWE Champion.
