TLC Review
Wow what a pay per view from start to finish, I was just in awe, in amazement and the opening contest, one of the best Ladder Matches I have seen in recent memory with so many high-flying spots and so many near finishes until Christian with that Spear from one ladder to the next in mid-air, what a spot, and Christian walks out the new WWE United States Champion, and now that Christian is WWE United States Champion the only things left for Christian to accomplish in his career are to win the Money in the Bank briefcase, the Royal Rumble Match, and the WWE Championship because if he can do those 3 things, then Christian is well on his way to being a WWE Hall of Famer but as for Evan Bourne he stole the show here and so did Christian, I wouldn't be surprised if this match is up for Match of the Year at the Slammys, this match comes as close to HBK/Razor Ramon SummerSlam 95 or even HBK/Razor Ramon WrestleMania 10
Miz/Sandow backstage moment with the WWE Champion and the NXT Champion, it was a great moment for sure but I know during that moment I couldn't help but laugh my ass off
Bray Wyatt getting a big win here beating Brodus Clay, Wyatt is destined for greatness here but after the match-up, where he was taking Clay too, I have no idea but knowing Wyatt and just how much of a crazed lunatic he is, I definitely don't want to know
Then talking about what happened on the pre-show with Sheamus facing Mason Ryan and then after the match, the new group of Rhodes, DiBiase and Mcgillicutty attacking Sheamus and putting him through a table to send a message to Orton and Jericho for tonight was a great way to send a message
Here's to hoping we get a Sheamus heel turn then, because if you plan on turning The Great White heel, then by all means please do it
But I honestly don't know how now Sheamus goes from being a main eventer competing for the World Heavyweight Championship all the way to a mid-carder now wrestling on a pre-show, when he should be in the main event, I am just baffled by how far you are making Sheamus fall here
Ryback beats Kane to keep his undefeated streak still in tact in what I thought was a great match especially with 2 monsters here their size, 2 powerhouses, and I honestly thought that during this match Ryback's undefeated streak was going to end but then surprisingly Ryback comes back during the match to pull off the victory and now that Ryback is done with Kane, I imagine who he will feud with next
Maddox has a performance review and so does Flair, but imagine if both of them get fired and Vince names a new GM, if he does, imagine if he names someone who we don't expect as GM, someone like Paul Heyman or even Eric Bischoff as GM of RAW or he names one of his children either Stephanie or Shane as GM, then that would be even better
Eve beats Natalya to retain her WWE Divas Championship in a great match but it just goes to show you that if Beth couldn't beat Eve or if any other diva couldn't beat her, it just makes me wonder just who can be the one to finally end Eve's reign as WWE Divas Champion? Either way it was a great match nonetheless
It seems Dean Ambrose is coming into his own as a face, he definitely makes a bad-ass face that is for sure and I loved his match-up with Daniel Bryan because it has the potential to be another Match of the Year candidate but I loved it because of the spots during that match especially the final spot with Ambrose giving Bryan a Vertebreaker on a seated steel chair, that was sickening but nonetheless it was effective and Ambrose coming out to a positive reaction and leaving to a positive reaction just goes to show you that he is here to stay as a face while Bryan I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up on the shelf injured
I still can't believe Rey is retiring but since he is, especially on a grand stage like SummerSlam, what better way for Rey to go out than to pass the torch to Sin Cara, Sin Cara taking Rey's spot as the new masked luchadore of the WWE, then Rey can go out in style, I expect Rey to get a 2013 WWE Hall of Fame induction in your diary since he is retiring
Kurt Angle is returning to the WWE as a Smackdown guy, this is going to be great, I can't wait until Angle finally returns because he can have so many feuds on Smackdown like feuding with Orton, Jericho, Sheamus, Rhodes, Ryback, Kane, Bryan, Ambrose, Cesaro, Del Rio, etc. but most important that Angle can go for the World Heavyweight Championship
Roman Reigns in his first pay per view match beats Zack Ryder in dominating fashion, just goes to show you that Reigns is destined for greatness being that he is a second-generation superstar the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sika of the Wild Samoans, coming from a great wrestling family the Anoai family, that Reigns is destined to be a star on the rise here in the WWE while Ryder if anything he has been on quite the decline as of late but here is hoping Ryder picks up momentum again
3MB formation, that I could really care less about, so I won't even get into all that
DiBiase and Mcgillicutty getting the biggest win of their careers retaining their WWE Tag Team Championships against the World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Chris Jericho, two bonafide future Hall of Famers all be it that they had help from Cody Rhodes, Orton's SummerSlam opponent but then Sheamus came out to even the odds but to no avail, but now that DiBiase and Mcgillicutty have both gotten big wins here, maybe they can branch out into singles competition soon becoming singles stars
CM Punk defeating The Miz in TLC to become the new WWE Champion, finally putting an end to Miz's title reign because I was really starting to hate Miz as WWE Champion, so glad that that's over and done with, thank the Lord but this match-up had so many spots in this match in which I loved
But then after the match Punk gets attacked by Maddox and Reigns and Miz only for Wade Barrett of all people to come out and even the odds, now that I was definitely not expecting was Barrett to come out, but Barrett it seems he wants to get his hands on Maddox and I for one don't blame him either especially after what Maddox did to him, who knows maybe a face turn is in Barrett's future but I can't even see Barrett as a face, I could see him as more a tweener than anything else but then Barrett giving chase to Maddox, Reigns and Miz who all get out of there and then Dolph Ziggler comes dashing to the ring with MITB briefcase in tow and Dolph doing the smart thing cashing in his briefcase which he won at WrestleMania 28 to cash in on the new WWE Champion CM Punk
Dolph ultimately winning the WWE Championship on his cash-in, I for one was in shock after that, but in a good way because I loved every second of it and now that Dolph is WWE Champion, I imagine Punk is going to want his re-match since he was the champion, but Miz also being champion too is going to want his re-match and Barrett since he never really lost the title but had to relinquish it, he is also going to want his rematch for the title, so you have quite the dilemma here on your hands
Either way it was a great PPV and I can't wait until the road to SummerSlam begins

WWE TLC Sheamus over Mason Ryan on the pre-show is the obvious call. Liked the attack from Cody, McGillicutty, and DiBiase. Hot opening contest with the United States Championship on the line in a Ladder match. Happy that Christian took the strap, but damn that spot sounded nasty at the end. I wonder where Bourne can go from here. Bray Wyatt getting the win over Brodus Clay was the best decision, intrigued to see where this storyline is headed. Mainly because of Bray Wyatt. Ryback versus Kane would probably be a fun match, great see Ryback pick up the win and lift Kane up the Shell Shocked. A performance review from Mr. McMahon to Brad Maddox and Ric Flair at RAW 1000 is cool, I'm expecting something big to go down here. Eve retaining the Diva's Championship over Natalya was fine. Chairs match is still really an awful stipulation after all this years, but at leas there's Ambrose and Bryan. Ambrose Body Slammed Ambrose with the chair on his back before rolling him back into the ring. Ouch, but really impressive for Ambrose to Body Slam himself. ;) Still, great victory for Ambrose over Bryan. Awesome match. Wow! Kurt Angle returning is huge news. I had a feeling you would sign him after that news update, still ecstatic. Angle versus Bryan, please. A bit of an obvious win for Roman Reigns over Zack Ryder, but Roman did need the win to make him credible. I hope we see Ryder and Flair team up at some point in this feud, would be a cool moment. Unless I missed it already. 3MB, BABY! *Air guitar solo* Exciting contest for the WWE Tag Team Championships with lots of drama. DiBiase and McGillicutty retaining was great, hoping Cody wins the title at SummerSlam. Maybe Jericho and Sheamus will challenge the tag champs next? Alright, main event is up next. Hey, heel world champions really like beer bottles, huh? Loved Punk smashing the bottle of his head though, nice finish. Punk as champ is always great, but Miz having such a short reign is a bit of a bummer. Post match attack from Roman Reigns and Brad Maddox only for Barrett to make the save is fine. Ziggler! He's cashing in! Not like this, damn it! Shocking finish to cap off the pay-per-view, even if it did come at the expense of Punk. I'm looking forward to RAW and RAW 1000, expecting Punk versus Ziggler at SummerSlam. Great show.

Punk vs Ziggler at SummerSlam for the WWE Championship would make for a great RAW main event for SummerSlam especially since Ziggler just won the title by cashing in his briefcase on Punk and Punk I am sure he is going to want his re-match for the title at SummerSlam but then Miz he also has a valid rematch too and so does Barrett, so the only solution to our problem here would be a Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Championship with Ziggler defending his WWE Championship against Punk, Miz, and Barrett, it is pretty much the only thing that makes sense at the moment
As for John Cena, I wonder what you have planned for him when it comes to SummerSlam
Because for SummerSlam you already have 2 matches set in stone with Randy Orton defending his World Heavyweight Championship against the 2012 WWE King of the Ring Cody Rhodes who also happens to be Randy Orton's former Legacy teammate who got here by winning the KOTR tournament to earn a title shot
And the other match being Rey Mysterio's Last Match that being Rey Mysterio vs Sin Cara for SummerSlam
But other matches I could see happening for SummerSlam are Antonio Cesaro defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Alberto Del Rio, Christian defending the WWE United States Championship against a new #1 Contender maybe but if not then I can definitely see him defending against Bourne again
DiBiase and Mcgillicutty will most likely defend their WWE Tag Team Championships here at SummerSlam but against which team? Probably The Usos or Epico & Primo or The Prime Time Players or probably against all 3 teams in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Turmoil Match
But Ryder I hope he gets a chance to compete at SummerSlam, and same goes for Ryback too as well as Sheamus
And Mark Henry I hope he makes a return here in your diary soon, just so we can see The Hall of Pain make a comeback and he can induct new victims into his Hall of Pain
But I wonder where Big Show is, because I don't think anyone has seen him since No Way Out or where is Brock Lesnar? Or even Triple H for that matter?
But I would honestly love to see Dolph Ziggler use the Super Kick a lot more in your diary because it is just such a sweet finisher for Dolph to use, and not to mention he has been using it a lot lately in real life, so here is hoping he uses it from now on as a secondary finisher but I would hope Dolph dumps Vickie as his manager, and you end up bringing in someone like Big E. Langston to be Dolph's bodyguard, if Big E. doesn't work, how about Leo Kruger, but hey it's just an idea

WWE TLC: Obvious win over Ryan for Sheamus. Glad he was assaulted by the New Legacy, it really sets the tone for the PPV. Christian and Bourne sounded nothing short than amazing. Sandow with Miz sounded entertaining. I hope Sandow gets a prominent role on RAW soon. Wyatt getting the win over Clay was a good call. Wyatt pulling Clay up the ramp was something else, and I say that in a good way. Excited to see where you with this. Ryback continuing his undefeated streak by beating Kane was good. I can see him becoming a huge star in your diary. Performance Review for both Maddox and Flair at RAW 1000 sounds good, although, let Ric keep his job. Eve retaining against Natalya was good. Who can beat Eve? I know who can! Ambrose is quickly becoming the best thing in this diary. Glad to see him being a great fan favorite as he keeps winning. I don't see this feud with Bryan ending right here though. Angle is returning! Angle vs Bryan match please. Thanks. Reigns beating Ryder is good. That interference won't look good on Maddox's Evaluation on RAW. 3MB, baybay! I hope you job them out (excluding D-Mac of course). Nice win for DiBiase and McGullicutty. Is Jericho taking some time off? CM Punk wins the title! The true "Best In The World". Oh, here comes Maddox's group. Barrett! Glad to see Barrett kicking ass. ZIGGLER! Ziggler just stole the show. He is the champion. Actually, excited to see how you handle this. Overall, it was a pretty epic show. Excited for RAW 1000 and SummerSlam.

Just a graphical comment - ease up on the sharpening on some of the renders, some of them are looking a bit choppy. A bit like your face, but still...
A great way to kick off the event, and as expected, Christian takes the United States Championship. Evan Bourne had a great run, and your unique heel turn definitely helped him out there, because as a babyface he'd have been a terrible Champion, so kudos for that. I can't imagine Brodus Clay versus Bray Wyatt being a technical masterpiece, but it's a good monster mash and very pleased to see Wyatt on top, I see a big push for him in the near future. Kane and Ryback are another interesting pairing, and I'm not sure on the decision to have it go on after a very similar clash, but that's just my opinion. I'm glad Ryback walked away with the victory, being a big fan of his, I'd like to see him given the Main Event run down the line, he's proved he's more than capable of hanging up there. Divas Match, for what it was, was good. Eve retaining and the closing line of "who can stop Eve" really leads me to believe you could be bringing in another dominant diva. Was Kharma released before you started your diary? I can't remember. A huge victory for Dean Ambrose over Daniel Bryan, I can only imagine how amazing that match would be. I'm glad Roman Reigns finally got a victory, he seemed to be on the back end of a few matches lately and needed this victory. A huge win for the WWE Tag Team Champions over the World Heavyweight Champion and a former World Champion at that. Albeit, there was the interference of Cody Rhodes and an appearance from Sheamus, but it's still a huge win, assist or not. I was incredibly shocked to see CM Punk become the new WWE Champion as it cut The Miz's reign short, but then I was even more surprised to see Dolph Ziggler cash in and become the WWE Champion. My only concern is that this time last year we saw a CM Punk/Dolph Ziggler feud at the Royal Rumble and you seem to be going for it again. Obviously the tables have turned though and you could play that into it. I'll see what you have in store. A great event overall.

| Monday Night RAW | July 16th, 2012 | Las Vegas, NV |
WWE Superstars 7/19 Taping Results Tensai def. Yoshi Tatsu Zack Ryder def. Curt Hawkins
- Following the signature WWE intro, a video package was shown recapping the events from last night's Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view. In a hellacious TLC Match, CM Punk managed to overcome The Miz to once again reclaim the WWE Championship. The night was not over for Punk afterwards as he was the victim of an attack by Roman Reigns and Brad Maddox. Fortunately for Punk, the attack was put to a halt by Wade Barrett, who was looking for revenge on the man who wrongfully stripped him of the WWE Championship. With Barrett chasing Maddox out of the arena, the door was left wide open for Dolph Ziggler to strike with his Money In The Bank briefcase. With Punk incapable of defending himself, Ziggler managed to pick up the scraps and shock the world, leaving TLC as the new WWE Champion.
- Cutting directly to the arena here in Las Vegas, the theme of CM Punk hit to a huge ovation. Punk made his way out to the ring, clearly not in the best of moods with what occurred last night at Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed everyone to episode 999 of Monday Night RAW as we are just seven days away from the historic 1000th edition. Punk grabbed a microphone, taking a seat in the center of the ring cross-legged. Punk said that the last time he was in Las Vegas, his life changed forever. Because he sat on that stage and did what he does better than anyone else, and that's tell the truth. And right now, he's going to tell the truth about a few things. "Last night, I stepped into this ring and had the fight of my life against The Miz. I give Miz a lot of crap, but he showed up last night to fight and I respect that. But that doesn't change how I feel about him. Miz is still an undeserving reality has-been who got what he wanted by kissing the ass of the corporate stooges. And last night, I brought justice to the world of professional wrestling by beating Miz and becoming the WWE Champion. However, some people decided to stick their nose in my business. Roman Reigns and Brad Maddox, to be exact. Both men who worked so hard to ensure that The Miz became champion saw all of their hard work be flushed down the toilet, and they wanted to take their frustrations out on me. But next time, Maddox, when we're in this ring together and you have a problem with me, don't hit from behind. Face me in the eye, put your hands up, and be ready to box with God," said Punk as the audience popped for his speech. "And it's ironic that the man who at one point blamed me for costing him the WWE Championship came to my aid. Wade, I don't need any help from anyone. And it's even more ironic how the Money In The Bank briefcase works. I have cashed in the briefcase twice before to capture World Heavyweight Titles, and now, I've had the damn thing cashed in one me twice. And because of that, the man who is walking around here as the champion is not myself or The Miz. It's not someone who endured hell in a TLC Match. It's Dolph Ziggler," said Punk as the crowd booed for the mention of the new WWE Champion. Punk said that the only man that he wants to see in this ring right now is Ziggler. "So Dolph, get your ass on out here so I can reclaim what is rightfully mine."
- Punk waited a few moments, but didn't get Dolph Ziggler. Instead, The Miz made his way down to the ring. The other one of the two former WWE Champions said that the only man who will be having a chat with Dolph Ziggler tonight is him. "Punk, I know that you somehow believe that you're better than everyone else," said Miz. Punk interrupted him, correcting his statement. "Actually, Miz, I'm not just better than anyone else. I'm the best in the world, and I proved that when I cracked you over your head with a beer bottle last night." Miz told Punk that regardless of his God complex, he is the only man who deserves a shot at the WWE Championship. "I was the WWE Champion going into TLC. 28 days I spent with that title, while I don't believe you even spent 28 seconds with it. I am the rightful champion and I deserve the opportunity to reclaim what should still be mine," said Miz. However, the two of them were then interrupted by the arrival of Wade Barrett. Barrett said that Punk and Miz seem to be forgetting something. "Neither of you two would even be in the WWE Title picture had it not been for Brad Maddox screwing him out of his championship. Now I may not be 100% just yet, but I'm well enough to kick someone's ass tonight. So if anyone truly deserves a shot at the WWE Championship, it's going to be me. The man who never lost it," said Barrett. As the three of them argued, the theme of Mr. McMahon hit as the audience erupted. The Chairman himself made his way out to the stage, saying that it would appear that there is quite a dilemma in the WWE Championship picture. "I can honestly say that I agree with all the points made by all three of you gentlemen. You all have legitimate reasons for No. 1 Contendership to the WWE Championship. But there's only room for one top contender. So here's what I propose. Tonight, CM Punk versus The Miz versus Wade Barrett in a Triple Threat match! And the winner goes on to RAW 1000 next week to meet Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship." The audience popped at McMahon's announcement as he left to the back, leaving the three men in the ring glancing at one another.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, a recap of the opening segment was shown, featuring a huge announcement from Mr. McMahon. In tonight's main event, CM Punk, The Miz, and Wade Barrett will all compete for a shot against the new WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler next week at RAW 1000.
- ROMAN REIGNS DEF. KOFI KINGSTON: A rematch from last week's opening contest. With Roman Reigns coming off of a victory over Zack Ryder last night at TLC, the momentum was fully on his side. As Kofi was going for a Springboard Hammer Fist, Reigns caught him in mid-air with a devastating Spear to get the victory.
- Following the match, Reigns refused to have his arm raised in victory as he picked Kofi up to his feet. The henchman for The Miz and Brad Maddox was looking to plant Kofi with a Powerbomb to add insult to injury, but failed as Zack Ryder hit the ring. He went after Reigns, but couldn't the upperhand instantly. As Reigns was attempting to Powerbomb Ryder, Kofi hit him with a Dropkick as he backed against the ropes. Ryder and Kofi then clotheslined Reigns over the top rope, standing tall in the ring as Reigns angrily made his way up the entrance ramp.
- Backstage, R-Truth was shown once again with Lil' Jimmy and a tricycle, trying to encourage his imaginary friend to ride the tricycle. Once again, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks entered the scene as they poked fun at Truth. "Hey guys, I'm trying to spend some bonding time with Lil' Jimmy. And if y'all don't step on out here, you both gon' get got. Ain't that right, Lil' Jimmy!?" asked Truth as he stared back at the tricycle. Hawkins and Reks looked as if they were going to back away, but they then attacked Truth. "Take the tricycle! Take the tricycle!" shouted Reks as Hawkins picked it up, the two storming away with it. "Lil' Jimmy!" cried Truth as he chased after Hawkins and Reks, believing that the two of them had kidnapped Lil' Jimmy.
- Cutting to another camera, Divas Champion Eve was shown making her way down to the announce table at ringside. A 10-Diva Battle Royal is up next, with the winner facing Eve next week at RAW 100 for the Divas Championship.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK:
- An advertisement was shown for the encore presentation of TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, airing all week on pay-per-view.
- DIVAS BATTLE ROYAL - AJ LEE LAST ELIMINATED TAMINA TO EARN A DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH AT RAW 1000: For a majority of the match, AJ Lee remained still in a corner, keeping quiet to herself as the commentators continued to question her mental state. Rosa Mendes, Aksana, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Kelly Kelly, and Alicia Fox all took the plunge to the floor before we were left with AJ, Maxine, Tamina, and Layla. Everyone left AJ alone as they battled it out, but Layla soon tried to speak to her. AJ would not respond as Layla told her to "Stop acting crazy and fight." At the sound of that certain word, AJ snapped and grabbed Layla by her hair, throwing her out of the ring. Across from that, Tamina delivered a forearm to Maxine as she fell off of the ring apron. AJ then threw Tamina out from behind, eliminating her and winning the match.
- The audience popped for AJ as her hand was raised in victory, a graphic appearing to announce her as the new No. 1 Contender for the Divas Championship. Eve took the result as a joke, simply laughing at ringside. "Are you kidding me? This little girl is my next opponent?!" asked Eve as she continued to laugh. AJ then turned to Eve, staring at the champion with a look of anger in her face. Suddenly, that look of anger transformed into psychotic laughter. The mentally unstable AJ Lee will be going on to RAW 1000 with a shot at Eve's Divas Championship.
- Backstage, assistant RAW General Manager Brad Maddox was shown in the locker room area speaking to a man with a camera. Josh Mathews soon walked in, asking Maddox who the camera man was. Maddox stated that the camera man was his old college roommate, Carson. "He's just here to document my journey to the most important night of my life next on RAW 1000 when Mr. McMahon names me the sole General Manager. Now if you'll excuse us," said Maddox as he forced Mathews out the door. Outside of the room, CM Punk approached Mathews, asking if Maddox was in that room. After Mathews nodded, Punk opened the door slightly as the camera man got a shot inside, Maddox and Carson's conversation audible. "Alright, listen. Next week has to go absolutely perfect. The night had to end with me as the General Manager. I need you to get as much dirt on Ric Flair as possible," said Maddox to Carson, not realizing that the world was watching them.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. After the announcement that Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle will soon be making his return to the WWE, how does this change the complexion of Friday nights? Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, Michael Cole made a huge announcement regarding next week's RAW 1000 extravaganza. Kicking off the show will be the reunion of perhaps the greatest faction in WWE history, D-Generation X.
- At this time, Justin Roberts made an introduction that ignited a chorus of boos from the audience. "Please welcome.....the NEW WWE Champion, Dolph Ziggler!" Ziggler's theme hit as he made his way out to the stage, the WWE Championship strapped around his waist. After doing his signature pose, a large fireworks display blasted for the new champion. He made his way down to the ring, grabbing a microphone as the boos continued. "Ladies and gentlemen, for once in the WWE, all is right. Because now, my moment has arrived. The moment where after seven long years of scratching and clawing my way to the top, I'm here. Even when I wasn't on the card for TLC, I did what I do better than anyone else, and that's steal the show!" Ziggler then said that it doesn't matter how he did it. All that matters is that he did it. "I am finally where I belong. At the top of the mountain as the WWE Champion, looking down at everyone else where I once was. And do you all know what the best part of this moment is? Nobody can take it from me. Not John Cena. Not CM Punk. Not The Miz. Not Wade Barrett. And not even The Rock can steal this moment from me. "
- Ziggler then addressed tonight's main event involving CM Punk, The Miz, and Wade Barrett for contention at his championship next week on RAW 1000. "It doesn't matter who I face for two reasons. The first being the most obvious one. I'm gonna win. The second is a bit more complex. Even though I'm the WWE Champion now, there are still many delusional non-believers. And Punk, Miz, and Barrett are all just that. Punk claimed that I didn't do anything to deserve this championship. What Punk fails to realize is that I worked just as hard as he did to get to the top, and maybe even just a bit more. I was fired last year after taking Edge to the limit every damn night. I brought honor and prestige back to the United States Championship. I overcame seven other men at WrestleMania in Money In The Bank. I made John Cena look like a damn fool in this ring, as if he doesn't do that himself already. And I retained this briefcase in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. You claimed that I didn't endure hell. Yeah, great logic, Punk," said Ziggler. "And Miz. Don't get me started on The Miz. You had every opportunity that should've been mine. All of your accolades should be listed in history under my name. Two WWE Championships, multiple other title reigns, the main event of WrestleMania. That is all tailor made for Dolph Ziggler, not you. And if I am to meet you in this ring next on the biggest show in history, I will prove why you're nothing more than a Dolph Ziggler wannabe." Ziggler then addressed Wade Barrett. "If anything, Wade, I just hate you for who you are. I hate the fact that as a rookie on NXT, you received more opportunities than me. I hate that even when I had nothing to do with you and the Nexus, I was still on the receiving end of your little pack of dog beatdowns. I hate that this past January in the Royal Rumble match, you won while I came second-to-last. And I know for a fact that unlike you, I would have actually won at WrestleMania. I don't care if you're bigger. You're not better than me. You're not more talented than me. And most of all, you're not the WWE Champion like me. No one else is WWE Champion like me. No one else....is Dolph Ziggler." Ziggler raised the WWE Championship high in the air for the world to see, and the world responded back with hostility for the Show Off.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW 1000, a graphic was shown with an announcement from SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long. Next week on RAW, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, the two men who meet at SummerSlam, will be guests on the always-controversial Piper's Pit.
- BRAY WYATT DEF. DAVID OTUNGA: Prior to the match, Bray Wyatt made his way down to the ring with a crate. The crate remind at ringside as the match went on, the commentators questioning the contents of it. In the end, Wyatt was able to put away the Harvard law graduate with the Bray Baptism to score the victory.
- After the bell sounded, Wyatt rolled out of the ring as he grabbed a microphone. "I'm not a bad person. All's I want to do is save those who need my guidance. And I can see the hopelessness in each and every one of your eyes. But when ol' Bray Wyatt sees a necessity, he takes advantage of it. I grab that persons hand and show them the light. Show them that there is a purpose in life, and it begins at my side. Brodus Clay was a bit of a struggle. He rebelled and rebelled and rebelled. But in the end, I get what I want. Haha.....Brodus. Hey, Brodus," said Wyatt as he knocked on the crate, revealing that the Funkasaurus was locked inside of it. He put his ear against the crate, telling the WWE Universe that Brodus says hello. "Brodus will be saved. Because next week, the most historical episode of RAW will feature the most historic moment of all time. Because of that very ring, Brodus Clay will become a part of my church after I baptize him. Tiiiiime is on my siiiiiide...." Wyatt pushed the crate up the entrance ramp as the commentators were left disturbed by the news that next week on RAW 1000, Bray Wyatt plans to baptize Brodus Clay in the ring and welcome him to his "church."
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. CM Punk, The Miz, and Wade Barrett will compete in a Triple Threat match with the winner meeting Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship next week on RAW 1000.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A special thanks was given to Lupe Fiasco for "The Show Goes On," the official theme song for next week's RAW 1000 extravaganza.
- Backstage, Divas Champion Eve was shown walking to her locker room when Josh Mathews approached her, asking for an explanation as to why she laughed after AJ Lee gained contention to her title. "Are you kidding me? AJ is just a girl. A small, tiny, little girl who is coming for a title held by a woman. On the biggest edition of RAW ever, I'm going to humiliate AJ. She doesn't belong in a Divas Championship match on RAW 1000. She belongs in an insane asylum. And maybe after I humiliate her, the WWE will admit her into one. Seriously, what a joke this whole thing is," said Eve as she continued on laughing.
- UNITED STATES CHAMPION CHRISTIAN DEF. JOHNNY CURTIS: A very solid bout just 24 hours after Christian defeated Evan Bourne in a Ladder Match to capture the United States Championship. Prior to the match, it was announced that Bourne will be invoking his rematch clause next week on RAW 1000. The new United States Champion was able to plant Curtis with the Killswitch to pick up the victory.
- At ringside, Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler quickly ran down what is scheduled thus far for RAW 1000 next week. Mr. McMahon will give both Ric Flair and Brad Maddox a Performance Evaluation. Three title matches are scheduled as Christian defends the United States Championship against Evan Bourne, Eve defends the Divas Championship against AJ Lee, and a WWE Championship that will be finalized in tonight's main event. World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes will be guests on Piper's Pit. A very special reunion will take place with D-Generation X. And it is a confrontation that the world is buzzing about. John Cena will call out The Rock and accept the challenge that he laid out the night after WrestleMania XXVIII. Cena has guaranteed that at some point in the future, "Once in a Lifetime" will see an encore. RAW celebrates its 1000th episode, live next week on USA.
- A graphic was shown for the upcoming main event with CM Punk, The Miz, and Wade Barrett all battling it out for a shot at Dolph Ziggler's WWE Championship. It is our main event and it is up next, live on RAW.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live August 19th, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, Brad Maddox was shown in the ring with his camera man that was introduced earlier, Carson. Maddox said that he understands that there is a main event to get to, but he felt the need to come out here and quickly give one final statement before Mr. McMahon makes his decision next week on the General Manager position. "I realize that most of what I have done has not been up the standards of a General Manager. And while I think that simply makes me unique, management may see otherwise. All I'm saying is that I am far more capable of holding this position than Ric Flair. Myself and Carson here, thanks for coming, buddy, understand that Flair has his fair share of wrong-doings as General Manager, which I will shed some light on when the time comes next week. But until then, I want everyone to realize that there is no better man for this position than me, Brad Maddox." The audience booed Maddox as he waved at them. Suddenly, the theme of Wade Barrett hit to a good pop from Las Vegas. Barrett marched down to the ring as Maddox wasted no time escaping from him, much like he did last night. Since he wasn't able to get his hands on Maddox, Barrett delivered a Big Boot to Carson. Barrett climbed to the second turnbuckle as he watched Maddox run away in fear once again.
- CM PUNK DEF. THE MIZ AND WADE BARRETT TO EARN A WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH AT RAW 1000: A very good Triple Threat bout here with a lot of riding on the line. Despite none of the three competitors being at 100%, they still gave their all for a shot at the most prized possession in sports entertainment. After Miz knocked Barrett off of the ring apron, he turned around and walked right into a Go To Sleep, giving Punk the victory.
- The audience erupted as CM Punk was announced as the winner and the new No. 1 Contender for the WWE Championship, earning a shot next week on RAW 1000. The celebration for Punk was short lived as he was attacked from behind by WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler nailed Punk in the skull with the title, standing over him and shouting "I'm here to stay, Punk!" Ziggler raised the WWE Championship in the air as the audience bombarded him with boos. making a statement to Punk that he plans on leaving RAW 1000 with the WWE Championship still intact.

RAW Review
I loved how you opened up the show with Punk and it appears he isn't a happy camper especially after losing the WWE Championship after having Money in the Bank cashed in on him twice by Ziggler cashing in and how if anyone deserves a championship match, it's him, only to be interrupted by The Miz who says that he was the WWE Champion going into TLC and that Punk may have beaten him but as former champion he too is entitled to a rematch only for Barrett to interrupt and claim that he should get a shot before anybody because he was wrongfully stripped of the WWE Championship only for Mr. McMahon to make a shocking appearance on RAW clarifying the situation in which the main event will be a Triple-Threat Match with Punk, Miz and Barrett and the winner of that getting a WWE Championship match at RAW 1000, if anything the winner should get their shot at SummerSlam and not on RAW 1000 but hey that is just my personal preference
Roman Reigns wins another match on RAW this time beating Kofi Kingston especially fresh off of his victory at TLC by beating Ryder in his first PPV match, and then just when Reigns is about to attack Kofi some more after the match, Ryder comes to Kofi's aid, and the 2 of them take Roman out, that was a great moment
R-Truth is just getting more and more nuts by the day, he is becoming a complete joke, an afterthought, and here's hoping Hawkins and Reks get R-Truth to snap out of this Lil' Jimmy thing, about time R-Truth got serious and stopped being the butt-end of all the jokes
AJ wins the 10-Diva Battle Royal to get a shot at Eve's WWE Divas Championship on RAW 1000, I for one think Eve will have the easiest match-up of her life, no way is AJ in the same league as a dominant champion like Eve nor can she hang with Eve
Brad Maddox just got caught once again
Ziggler's promo I loved it
Everything else about RAW, I loved too

| WWE NXT | July 18th, 2012 | Winter Park, FL |
- After the signature WWE intro, a video package was shown recapping the NXT iPPV last week, primarily focusing on the three key bouts. In the first stage of the Elimination Chase, it was Tyson Kidd who suffered elimination, leaving Alex Riley, Richie Steamboat, and Trent Barreta vying for No. 1 Contendership. The Anti Diva Paige managed to finally gain revenge against Summer Rae by defeating Tamina, and then extracting physical punishment onto Summer. And in the main event, Damien Sandow found a way to slyly overcome the odds and defeat Seth Rollins and Kassius Ohno to remain NXT Champion, but in controversial fashion.
- Cutting to the arena here at Full Sail University, the theme of Damien Sandow hit as the audience showed their displeasure for the Intellectual Savior of the Masses. Sandow, still reigning as the NXT Champion, entered the ring and asked for silence from the WWE Universe, to which they did not respond kindly to. "Young scholars of Full Sail University and pupils of the WWE Universe. It is with great pleasure that I reiterate the result of last week's championship match at the first ever NXT iPPV. Against what seemed to be insurmountable odds, I, Damien Sandow, proved that statement to be pure fiction as my NXT Championship remained intact." The audience continued to boo Sandow until the theme of Seth Rollins hit. Rollins made his way down to the ring as Sandow quickly tried to dismiss anything that he had to say. "Nope, Rollins. You received the fair opportunity that you had been clamoring for. No longer will you be in consideration for an opportunity at the esteemed NXT Championship," said Sandow. Rollins told him it seems that he wasn't even paying attention to his own title defense. Because if he was, he would have noticed that the Triple Threat match was anything but fair for him. "Before I could get into this ring, I was attacked from behind by Kassius Ohno. And when I did make it back in, you took advantage of what should have been my pinfall to victory. You weaseled your way out of another match with me, and I still have yet to receive a fair opportunity at the NXT Championship. So I want that fair opportunity right here tonight!" The audience popped as Sandow quickly tried to diminish their excitement. He told Rollins that his next opportunity at the NXT Championship is merely mythical. It won't be tonight, next week, next month, or any time that can be identified on any calendar year. Sandow was soon interrupted by the arrival of NXT General Manager, Ricardo Rodriguez. He said that while Sandow may have walked out of Full Sail University last week as the NXT Champion, he does agree with everything Rollins said. "His opportunity was robbed, and it was through a plan orchestrated by both you, Sandow, and Kassius Ohno. So because of that, I have not only taken Rollins' request under consideration, but I will make the match official. Tonight, Damien Sandow will defend the NXT Championship against Seth Rollins!" The Full Sail Arena erupted as Rollins celebrated with them. Sandow, on the other hand, was furious as he tried to talk his way out of it, but to no avail. "And I will add one more stipulation for you, Sandow. Just to make sure all is fair tonight. If you are disqualified, the NXT Championship will change hands!" Ricardo made his way to the back as Rollins told Sandow that he will see him in the ring later on. There's no running for Damien Sandow now. Tonight, he will defend the NXT Championship against Seth Rollins. And if he is disqualified, Rollins will be crowned the new champion!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the break, a recap of the previous segment was shown, featuring a huge announcement from NXT General Manager Ricardo Rodriguez. Tonight, Seth Rollins will finally receive his fair one on one opportunity against Damien Sandow for the NXT Championship.
- RICHIE STEAMBOAT DEF. TRENT BARRETA: Two of the three remaining superstars in the Elimination Chase battled it out in a very exciting, fast-paced opening bout. The third Elimination Chase participant, Alex Riley, was on commentary to get a better look at the two men who he will compete against in stage two of the Chase in two weeks. Towards the end, Trent seemed to have had enough of Steamboat as he left to the outside, showing no interest of getting back into the ring. However, Alex Riley left the announce desk and tossed Trent back in. As Trent argued with Riley, Steamboat rolled him up to get the victory.
- The audience popped as Steamboat raised his arms in victory, scoring a huge win over one of his opponents in the Elimination Chase. Alex Riley made his way back up the entrance ramp, making eye contact with Steamboat as the two know that it may be one of them, or Trent, who face elimination in two weeks from the Elimination Chase.
- Backstage, Briley Pierce was shown standing by with the Filth Parade, Corey Graves and Jake Carter. Briley asked the duo what was next for them after Graves was successful in defeating Yoshi Tatsu last week on the NXT iPPV? Graves said that the next destination for the Filth Parade is very simple - prove that they are the best. "I already proved that I can get the job done solo by defeating Yoshi Tatsu, a WWE superstar, last week. Now, it's time for me and Carter to show the world what we can truly do as a duo," said Graves. "And sooner than later, we will make history as the first ever NXT superstars to become WWE Tag Team Champions," said Carter as the Filth Parade left the interview scene.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins was shown in his locker room, getting ready for tonight's huge NXT Championship match.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for RAW 1000, featuring Wade Barrett looking back on two specific RAW moments that shaped his career. The night the Nexus debuted, and the night he captured the WWE Championship in England. RAW 1000 is live next Monday night on USA.
- Returning to NXT, the theme of JTG hit as the self proclaimed "Mr. NXT" made his way down to the ring, where Oliver Grey was shown and introduced. Prior to the match, JTG grabbed a microphone as he was looking to address the Full Sail audience, who were rampantly chanting "Big E!" JTG said that unfortunately for them, Big E Langston is not here tonight. "As a matter of fact, Big E will never be back here. You see, unlike myself, Big E never had a WWE or NXT contract. He was signed to me to lend his services to me. But last week, not only did we lose to the Usos, but Big E betrayed me! He laid me out in the middle of this ring, and I told myself that that was it. Ain't no way I'm going to allow the flyest man on the planet to be the laughing stock of NXT. So immediately after, I cut all ties with Big E. And like I said, you'll never see him in this ring ever again."
- JTG DEF. OLIVER GREY: Despite JTG's promo, the audience continued to bombard him with "We want Big E!" chants, infuriating him. The debuting Oliver Grey had an impressive showing, but was ultimately put away after JTG caught him with Da Shout Out.
- Backstage, Rob Naylor was standing by with Paige, who was once again sitting on a staircase, despite now being allowed in the locker room area. Naylor asked Paige what was next for her after her huge victory over Tamina last week. Paige said that while the victory over Tamina was the biggest of her career, it wasn't the most satisfying moment for her. "That came after the match, when I finally got my hands on Summer Rae. I grabbed her by her Barbie hair and dropped her on her Barbie head in the centre of the ring. And as for your question of what's next for me, it's more a question of what's next for the Divas here on NXT. Because I've yet to run through any of them. Whether it be Sofia, Raquel, Audrey, or any of the new Divas that I'm hearing of, they're the ones who will have to look over their shoulder every few seconds. Because I'm not just here to win. I'm here to be the best."
- A graphic was shown for the NXT Championship match with Damien Sandow and Seth Rollins, coming up next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live August 19th, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to NXT on ION Television, a video package was shown for Adrian Neville, who made his debut last week on the NXT iPPV. The "Man That Gravity Forgot," will be making his NXT television debut next week.
- Cutting back to the Full Sail Arena, the theme of Seth Rollins hit as it was time for the main event. The voice of Jim Ross could be heard on commentary, a usual for the main events of NXT. After Rollins was settled in the ring, NXT Champion Damien Sandow made his entrance. The bell sounded as ring announcer Chris Russo gave the pre-match introductions, the audience showing their full support for the challenger. There was nowhere for Sandow to run this time as a disqualification on his part will result in a title change. It's now time for the biggest match in NXT yet. Sandow and Rollins, one on one, no shenanigans, the NXT Championship is on the line.
- NXT CHAMPIONSHIP - SETH ROLLINS DEF. DAMIEN SANDOW: An exceptional main event to NXT, given a near 20-minutes worth of time. Halfway through the match, a majority of the NXT roster came out to the stage to watch as the biggest, and arguably best, match in NXT history unfolded. As Sandow was attempting the Terminus, Rollins was able to fight out of it. He flipped over Sandow, planting him with a DDT. With Sandow on his knees, Rollins hit him with a Superkick, only managing to score a two count. Rollins couldn't believe that Sandow had kicked out, but took no time to reflect as he waited for the champion to get back up. Rollins failed to connect another Superkick, allowing Sandow to catch him with the Terminus. To the shock of everyone, Rollins kicked out. An infuriated Sandow attempted another, but Rollins fought of of it. After hitting Sandow with an Enziguri, the champion dropped to one knee as Rollins hit him with another Superkick. Sandow was dazed, but still on his knees as Rollins ran the ropes and hit a Blackout! Rollins covered Sandow, hooking the legs to finally get the victory and the championship.
- The roof nearly came off of Full Sail University as the audience erupted. Rollins was handed the NXT Championship as he raised it high in the air, finally overcoming Damien Sandow and every obstacle that has been put in front of him. The NXT roster stormed the ring to congratulate Rollins, lifting him up to their shoulders as he celebrated with the title. Sandow could be seen on the floor at ringside with his hands on his face, knowing that his most prized possession no longer belongs to him. The NXT Championship, this moment, and this night now belong to Seth Rollins.

Time for a follow up after a great iPPV. Sandow starts a good promo til Rollins comes out. Rollins sounded like a baby in that. Whine and whine. I hate absolulty hate Trent as a heel. Sickens me. Riley should be back to his Varsity Villian and Trent stays a face. Filth Parade love that name but I think that segment could have been perfect for a announcement of NXT tag titles. At least you debuted Oliver Grey. Paige is like a cheered Heel and that's a perfect fit. Random-Where's the Ascension? I would love to see that Main Event in real life. I think it would be superb.

| Friday Night SmackDown | July 20th, 2012 | San Diego, CA |

WWE Superstars 7/19 Taping Results Justin Gabriel def. Primo Tamina def. Kelly Kelly - Following the signature WWE intro, we cut directly to the arena here in San Diego as SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was shown in the center of the ring. After welcoming everyone to SmackDown, Teddy said that this past Sunday at TLC, he made a monumental announcement. An announcement that he promised would change the complexion of the WWE forever. "And in case you haven't heard, I have re-signed to a SmackDown contract, the only Olympic Gold Medalist in WWE history, Kurt Angle!" The audience popped as a chorus of "Angle" chants broke out. Teddy said that he met with Angle earlier today. "And let me tell you all, he's ready. Angle is in the best shape of his life, and is ready to get back in this ring. And I'm proud to announce that you won't have to wait long to see him back in this ring. Because Angle will be making his long awaited return to the WWE this Monday at RAW 1000!" The crowd erupted once again for the announcement that on the most historic episode of RAW in history, Kurt Angle will finally make his official WWE return. The celebratory mood was soon ruined by the arrival of Cody Rhodes and the WWE Tag Team Champions, Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty.
- Teddy Long was caught off guard as the trio entered the ring, much to the dismay of the WWE Universe. Cody grabbed a microphone and told the General Manager that nobody cares about a washed up has-been like Kurt Angle making his return to the WWE. "Because we're supposed to be looking ahead to the future, not the past. And the future lies in my hands. The hands that will hold the World Heavyweight Championship in victory come SummerSlam. And speaking of victory..."said Cody as he glanced at DiBiase and McGillicutty, still reigning as the WWE Tag Team Champions coming out of TLC. "I'm sure none of you expected myself and Michael McGillicutty to be standing here tonight as the WWE Tag Team Champions. You were all quick to assume that the 'dream team' of Randy Orton and Chris Jericho would wipe the floor with us? I guess you all forgot that we are not just the most dominant WWE Tag Team Champions, but the ability to win and overcome all odds is in our blood." McGillicutty took the microphone, saying that they proved to Orton this past Sunday that when it comes a "legacy," they are the true talent. They're the ones who were truly born better. They're the ones who will lead the WWE into the next generation and pave the way for the incoming second and third generation talent. They're the ones who personify "Wrestling Royalty."
- At that moment, the audience's jeers turned to cheers as the theme of Randy Orton hit. The World Heavyweight Champion made his way out to the stage, telling the trio that they have yet to prove anything. "If I recall, you three said that your mission is to rid the WWE of me. Well, you sure as hell didn't accomplish that at TLC. Yes, you may have put me through a table. And yes, you two may still be the WWE Tag Team Champions, DiBiase and McGillicutty. But I'm still standing, and I'm standing as the World Heavyweight Champion!" The audience applauded Orton as Rhodes told him that those two conditions are only intact for another few weeks. Because once SummerSlam rolls around, he'll have nothing left to his name. Orton told Rhodes that he looks forward to seeing him attempt to make a name for himself off of his on August 19th. "I also look forward to next Monday at RAW 1000 when you and I will be guests on Piper's Pit. But enough about SummerSlam. Enough about RAW 1000. Let's focus on tonight. Because I'm looking for revenge against you two, DiBiase and McGillicutty. And I want it right here and right now!" Rhodes told Orton that unless he wants to go alone tonight, he doesn't see how a rematch looks plausible. "DiBiase and McGillicutty beat Chris Jericho to the point where he's not even here tonight. So unless you have some sort of backup plan, I suggest you turn around and walk on-" Rhodes was soon cut off by the arrival of the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus. Sheamus stood side by side with Orton on the stage. Rhodes and the self proclaimed "Wrestling Royalty" stayed silent in the ring until Teddy Long finally chimed in. "It looks like Orton's got himself the backup that you spoke of, Rhodes. So tonight, I think we'll have ourselves a double main event. In our first main event, the No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Cody Rhodes, will be taking on the fastest rising star on SmackDown, Dean Ambrose." As the audience popped for that announcement, Teddy then announced that DiBiase and McGillicutty will see action in our other main event against the team of Sheamus and the World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton! More cheers came for that announcement as Teddy left the ring, Rhodes, DiBiase, and McGillicutty shouting at him. Orton and Sheamus, on the other hand, appeared satisfied with the news as they will have their opportunity at revenge against DiBiase and McGillicutty, or "Wrestling Royalty" as they put it.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for RAW 1000, featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin looking back on the night he and Mike Tyson had their infamous confrontation. RAW 1000 is live next Monday on USA.
- RYBACK DEF. TENSAI: Just a few days after overcoming Kane at TLC, Ryback was once again matched up against another monster. This time, the challenge came in the form of Tensai. As Tensai was going for a Clothesline, Ryback was able to counter it and hit a huge Spinebuster. Ryback signaled that it was time to "finish it" as the commentators questioned whether or not Ryback could lift Tensai up off of his seat. That question was soon answered as Ryback lifted Tensai up onto his shoulders, planting the near 400 lb'r with Shell Shocked! The audience erupted as Ryback got the cover to seal the victory.
- Ryback slowly stood to his feet, keeping his undefeated streak intact as he has overcome yet another monster. However, Ryback's adversary soon came back for more as pryo blasted from the stage, signaling the arrival of Kane. As Ryback waited patiently in the ring, Kane made his way through the audience. He grabbed Ryback's foot, pulling him out of the ring. The two brawled as as Ryback seemed to have had the upper hand, hitting Kane with a Meat Hook Clothesline. Ryback then began taking apart the announce table before lifting Kane up onto his shoulders. However, Kane slid off and grabbed Ryback by his throat, planting him with a Chokeslam through the announce table. Ryback remained on the ground as Kane did his signature taunt while standing tall. For the first time ever, Ryback has looked vulnerable as Kane sends a huge message, letting the undefeated monster know that the Big Red Monster is still looking for a fight.
- Backstage, Matt Striker was shown standing by with Kaitlyn. Striker asked for her thoughts on her best friend, AJ Lee, becoming the No. 1 contender for the Divas Championship at RAW 1000. Kaitlyn corrected Striker, citing AJ as her "Ex-best friend." She said that AJ was her friend until she decided to go into psycho mode on her. "And I truly believe that the only reason AJ is getting a title shot on Monday is because I couldn't make it to RAW this past week. If I had been in that Battle Royal, I know I would have won. And let's face it. AJ has no chance at becoming Divas Champion, while I would have easily taken the title at RAW 1000. And I'll prove that right now." Strong words from Kaitlyn as she made her way down to the ring, in action against AJ Lee next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Friday Night SmackDown, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Sheamus were shown in the locker room area preparing for their tag team match later on tonight against Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty. Sheamus brought up the signing of Kurt Angle, telling Orton that it looks like there will be more competition on SmackDown. "I don't care about Kurt Angle. If he were to even attempt to make a move for my World Heavyweight Championship, he better think twice. Because I know that Kurt is no stranger to the effects of an RKO. And I know you aren't as well, Sheamus." Orton and Sheamus stared at one another for a bit, showing potential tension.
- AJ LEE DEF. KAITLYN: The two former "Chickbusters" finally collided after months of animosity between the two. Booker T stated on commentary that he believes this match stemmed from Kaitlyn being jealous that AJ will be the one receiving a Divas Championship match at RAW 1000. Kaitlyn attempted to finish off AJ with a Gutbuster, but the maneuver was countered into a Sliced Bread. AJ covered Kaitlyn, hooking the inside leg to get the victory.
- AJ stared down at Kaitlyn for a bit after the final bell, coming to realize that she just defeated the woman she once considered her best friend. Seconds later, she bursted into maniacal laughter before skipping up the entrance ramp, on her way to RAW 1000 with a shot at Eve's Divas Championship.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event of World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Sheamus against WWE Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty. Another graphic was shown for the first of the two main events, Cody Rhodes, vs. Dean Ambrose, which is up next on SmackDown.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, the RAW Rebound was shown. At TLC this past Sunday, Dolph Ziggler shocked the world as the Show Off did what he claims to do better than anyone else - steal the show. And he did so by cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase on CM Punk, who had just captured the WWE Championship in a TLC match. Dolph capitalized on the situation to become the new champion. On RAW, Punk, Miz, and Wade Barrett all made their cases as to why they should be the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship, which led to our main event that evening. Punk managed to defeat Miz and Barrett in a Triple Threat match, earning the right to a rematch against Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship at RAW 1000.
- DEAN AMBROSE DEF. CODY RHODES VIA DISQUALIFICATION: Two of the WWE's top young stars went at it in an incredible first hour main event, the first of two main events advertised for tonight. Coming off of a victory over Daniel Bryan in a Chairs Match, Ambrose was looking to further his wave of momentum. For Rhodes, he was looking to keep his going as well with SummerSlam and his World Heavyweight Championship opportunity coming up shortly. Rhodes attempted to hit the Disaster Kick, but Ambrose was able to catch him in mid-air and hit a Northern Lights Suplex. With Rhodes down, Ambrose positioned himself in a corner as he pulled down his knee pad, signaling the Knee Trembler. However, he was struck from behind with a chair by Daniel Bryan!
- The bell sounded and the audience booed as Ambrose fell to the mat after the chair shot from Bryan. Ambrose stirred to his feet, but Bryan held the chair against his face as he allowed Rhodes to hit the Disaster Kick, sending the chair into Ambrose's face. Rhodes left the ring as Bryan set up the chair, standing on it as he stood over Ambrose while shouting "Yes!" repeatedly.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Friday Night SmackDown, a recap of the previous match was shown as Daniel Bryan attacked Dean Ambrose with a steel chair, getting a bit of revenge for his loss at TLC. Footage from the commercial break was shown as officials tried to assist Ambrose out of the ring, but the Psychotic Superstar once again refused any assistance.
- HEATH SLATER AND DREW MCINTYRE W/ JINDER MAHAL DEF. SANTINO MARELLA AND DERRICK BATEMAN: This past Sunday at TLC, we saw the transformation of Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal as the two have joined up with Heath Slater to form the "Three Man Band," or "3MB" as they put it. After Mahal tossed Derrick Bateman back first into the barricade, Slater was able to finish off Santino in the ring with an Impaler DDT to get the victory.
- Slater popped up to his feet as McIntyre and Mahal joined him, the three "rock stars" celebrating their victory. The trio played air guitars in unison, 3MB looking very impressive in the debut of their new "band."
- Backstage, Cody Rhodes was shown walking into the locker room of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty. Rhodes told the two of them that he already took care of Dean Ambrose tonight, and he's counting on them to do the same with Randy Orton and Sheamus. "The WWE Universe's 'dream team' is going to fall at the feet of you two. Show the world what 'Wrestling Royalty' is all about," said Rhodes. DiBiase and McGillicutty simply smiled at him, "Wrestling Royalty" looking confident heading to the second main event tonight.
- Cutting to another camera, Rey Mysterio was shown walking down a corridor to a huge pop. The Master of the 619, who will wrestle his final match at SummerSlam, will address his hometown audience next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A recap video from this past Wednesday's NXT was shown, featuring still images from the NXT Championship match. In the end, Seth Rollins managed to finally defeat Damien Sandow and capture the NXT Championship.
- Returning to SmackDown, the theme of Rey Mysterio hit as the San Diego audience erupted for the hometown hero. Mysterio made his way out to the stage, taking the time to absorb the love and energy from his hometown fans. A graphic was shown for the upcoming encounter between Mysterio and Sin Cara at SummerSlam, which will be the final match of Mysterio's career. He stepped into the ring, taking a microphone as the audience repeatedly chanted "Thank you, Rey!" Mysterio said that until SummerSlam rolls around, this is one of the hardest moments of his career. Having to say goodbye to his hometown audience as this is the final time he will be in a WWE ring in San Diego. "Not too far from here, Los Angeles, is where I will call it a career against Sin Cara at SummerSlam. But I couldn't watch SmackDown in San Diego pass me by without thanking each and every one of you." The crowd applauded Rey before he continued on. "And I'll send this message out to the entire WWE Universe as well. Thank you for all of the support over the years that have kept me going. Without all of the energy from you guys, I don't know how many times I would have gotten up after falling down. Even after SummerSlam, you guys will forever be a part of my family. Mi familia. Thank you all so much. I really don't know who I would be or where I would be today withou-" at that moment, Mysterio was cut off by the theme of the Intercontinental Champion, Antonio Cesaro. A very hostile reaction emerged for the Intercontinental Champion as he stepped into the ring, telling Mysterio that it's a shame that just as he hides his face, he hides the true reason for his retirement. "You're not retiring because you want to spend time with your family, or because you want to take care of your body. You are retiring because you fear the day that you had to step into this ring with the most dominant entity in the WWE today." Mysterio told Cesaro that that isn't a factor at all. He would have loved to have a match with Cesaro, as a matter of fact. "But that day will unfortunately never come, Antonio," said Mysterio. Cesaro told him that if he truly appreciated the support from the "common citizens" of the WWE Universe, he'll admit the truth right now. "You knew that I was making a mockery out of nationalities left and right now. And you didn't want to just become another victim of mine, Rey. But you know what? I don't care if you're retiring. I don't care if you're not looking for a fight. You are in simply in the wrong place at the wrong time." Cesaro stepped closer to Mysterio, who backed away as he did not want an altercation for fear of risking his health and match at SummerSlam. However, Cesaro's plans were foiled as Alberto Del Rio hit the ring. Del Rio dodged a shot from the Intercontinental Championship gold, taking Cesaro down to the mat. He attempted to lock in the Cross Armbreaker, but Cesaro was able to escape both the hold and the ring. He retreated up the entrance ramp as Del Rio called for him to get back into the ring. The Intercontinental Champion refused to listen to the No. 1 contender for his title, leaving to the back. Del Rio then turned around to see Mysterio. The two former rivals confronted each other in the center of the ring, speaking for a bit. Del Rio then extended his hand to Mysterio, who seemed a bit hesitant. Soon, Mysterio accepted the hand shake as he and Del Rio raised each other's arms to a huge ovation from the San Diego audience.
- A graphic was shown for the upcoming main event, pitting World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Sheamus against the WWE Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty, the newly dubbed "Wrestling Royalty." That match is next on SmackDown.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live Sunday August 19th, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to SmackDown, a special thanks was given to Lupe Fiasco for "The Show Goes On," the official theme song for RAW 1000. The commentary unit quickly ran down what is scheduled for the big event this coming Monday. Mr. McMahon will give both Ric Flair and Brad Maddox a Performance Evaluation. The twisted and eerie Bray Wyatt has vowed to "baptize" the Funkasaurus Brodus Clay in the middle of the ring. The only Olympic Gold Medalist in WWE history, Kurt Angle, will make his long awaited return. And it is a confrontation that the world is buzzing about. John Cena will call out The Rock and accept the challenge that he laid out the night after WrestleMania XXVIII. Cena has guaranteed that at some point in the future, "Once in a Lifetime" will see an encore. RAW celebrates its 1000th episode, live this Monday on USA.
- WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RANDY ORTON AND SHEAMUS DEF. WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS WRESTLING ROYALTY: A very solid tag bout to close out SmackDown heading into RAW 1000 on Monday. Wrestling Royalty were looking to continue where they left off at TLC, taking control of Sheamus for a bit. After Sheamus was able to kick McGillicutty away, he made the tag to Orton. McGillicutty tagged in DiBiase, who was instantly taken down by Orton. The Viper began coiling for an RKO, but McGillicutty stepped onto the ring apron. That proved to be ineffective as he was taken out with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus. DiBiase turned to an RKO from Orton, giving he and Sheamus the victory.
- The audience erupted as Orton stirred to his feet, raising arms with Sheamus in victory. Orton was handed back the World Heavyweight Championship as he and the Celtic Warrior faced off again, Sheamus patting the championship to let Orton know that he has his eyes set on it. Sheamus stuck around with the fans for a bit as Cody Rhodes made his way down to ringside to assist Wrestling Royalty to the back. He never took his eyes off of Orton, who raised the World Heavyweight Championship high in the air. Before they get to their championship match at SummerSlam, the two will be guests on the always controversial Piper's Pit this Monday at RAW 1000.

Wrestling Royalty, what a stable name and it works too because Cody being the son of the American Dream Dusty Rhodes being a 2nd generation superstar, DiBiase being the son of the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, Sr. and the grandson of Iron Mike DiBiase being a 3rd generation superstar and Mcgillicutty being a 3rd generation superstar also being the son of Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig and the grandson of Larry the Ax Hennig, it is in their blood, and with all that pedigree they are the new Legacy of the WWE but I feel what they need in order to be an elite stable is if they end up having a 4th member but who??? I would have said Roman Reigns because he is a 2nd generation superstar being the son of Sika of the Wild Samoans being from the Anoai family which is wrestling royalty in that of itself but Roman has aligned himself with Miz and Maddox unfortunately, so who could join their stable?
I love the main event of DiBiase and Mcgillicutty having to face the team of the World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and the Great White Sheamus, but as for Cody Rhodes he has to face Dean Ambrose, that will be a great match
Love that Kurt Angle is returning but also that he is going to have his grand return on RAW 1000, this is great, I wonder who Angle faces in his return but also Angle is a part of RAW's 1000 episode history, one of the centerpieces of the Attitude Era and he is coming back because Kurt is the last of his breed of Attitude Era guys because there's himself, Rock, Taker, Kane, Big Show, Christian and Jericho
Ryback beats Tensai only to be assaulted by Kane right after the match, loved it because it made Ryback vulnerable for the first time but I see Ryback taking Kane out of action soon enough
So is Kaitlyn face or heel now? Because it came to me that she was coming off as being heel here but AJ to me if anything she screams heel especially because AJ is psycho unlike Kaitlyn who has all of her faculties there and I feel Kaitlyn could beat Eve and not AJ because let's face it AJ can't even handle herself in that ring but Kaitlyn can
AJ proves me wrong by beating Kaitlyn all be it by fluke, because that is what AJ is, a fluke, a one-hit wonder and I can't wait to see Eve beat her to retain her WWE Divas Championship and Kaitlyn can be the one to save us from Eve as champion
Dean Ambrose beats Cody all be it by DQ because of Bryan getting involved assaulting Ambrose and then Cody joining in on it, and Bryan taking all the credit all the glory, I knew Bryan just wouldn't let go after losing to Ambrose at TLC but I see this rivalry ending by RAW 1000 if not at SummerSlam
3MB being formed, I thought that I would never see the day but I am glad they are in existence
Loved Rhodes being backstage with his stable-mates DiBiase and Mcgillicutty giving them a pep talk before their match and loved Orton and Sheamus' banter with each other, perhaps teasing a feud between Orton and Sheamus, if that is the case, I would love to see Sheamus turn heel
Please turn Sheamus heel, because Sheamus at this point he is starting to grow stale and equally just annoying as a face, make him like the badass he was before when he was heel when he took HHH out at Extreme Rules 2010
Mysterio's segment with the Intercontinental Champion Cesaro, loved it, and what I found even more unexpected was Del Rio coming to Rey's rescue, and the 2 former rivals shaking hands considering the stuff Del Rio has done to Rey in the past
Loved the RAW 1000 card rundown
Orton and Sheamus beating DiBiase and Mcgillicutty, I loved it
Overall great Smackdown and I can't wait until RAW 1000 and I hope we get to see such people as Austin, Bret, HBK, X-Pac, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, Trish, Lita, Kevin Nash hopefully, Taker, and even more legends from the past

Good edition of Smackdown here. Solid main event, though I'm not quite sold on the Wrestling Royalty name. Decent match between Cody and Ambrose and AJ's interfence made sense as he cheated Ambrose out of a big win to continue their feud. Ryback gets another win though I see he's still feuding with Kane. Hopefully thier next battle is the final meeting and they can go on with other things. Big announcement about Angle returning to the WWE, it'll be interesting to see how he's used and how he adjusts to the WWE after a 6-year absence. You've got me interested in Raw 1000, hopefully you don't have all the revisionist history that the real-life broadcast probably had.

- After a brand new signature opening, we headed directly to the arena in St. Louis as the WWE Universe was shown fired up and ready for the historical and unprecedented 1000th episode of RAW. "No Chance In Hell" blasted as the Chairman of the Board, Mr. McMahon, made his way out to the stage. The audience went nuts for McMahon as he gave the line that opened the very first edition of the WWE's flagship show - "Welcome everyone to Monday Night RAW!" A louder ovation came for McMahon as he said that tonight will be a landmark in not just WWE history, but television history as we celebrate RAW reaching its 1000th episode, something that has never been done before in the history of broadcast television. And as a reflection on the past near-20 year history of RAW, a special video presentation has been put together. A video montage of historical moments in RAW history was shown to the tune of "The Show Goes On" by Lupe Fiasco.
- Following the completion of the video package, cameras scanned over the audience once again as Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Booker T welcomed everyone to a night that will go down in history. The 1000th episode of Monday Night RAW! The theme of D-Generation X then hit to a huge ovation. Moments later, Triple H and Shawn Michaels made their way out to the stage. As they headed down to the ring, Cole mentioned some of D-X's most historic moments in history, most notably their invasion of WCW. After the duo got into the ring, Michaels could be seen heavily breathing, as if he were already fatigued. "You alright there, buddy?" asked Triple H. Michaels said that he's fine. Just a little out of breathe. "You barely took 20 steps," responded Hunter, to which Michaels told him that it's been a while since he's done this. "Yeah. Now that I think about it, it's been a while for me too, Shawn," said Hunter. Michaels told him that it's been so long, that it feels like he's "missing something." "Missing something? Did you lose your smile again?" asked Hunter. Michaels replies by smiling, saying that that can't be it. "Maybe it's....holy cow! What happened to your hair?!" asked Michaels, somehow barely noticing Triple H's haircut. "I...uh....was kind of hoping you wouldn't notice," said Hunter. He then told Michaels that he doesn't think it's his hair that's missing. "Didn't there used to be.....more of us?" asked Hunter to a huge pop. He then asked the audience if there used to be more of them, receiving another great reaction. Hunter and Michaels pointed to the stage as the D-X theme it once again. This time, out come a military jeep with Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and X-Pac. They headed down to the ring, greeting Hunter and Michaels as Lawler stated that "the band is back together again." The five of them did the signature D-X crotch chop as pyro blasted in the ring. The audience roared for the full reunion of one of the, if not the, greatest faction in WWE history. Road Dogg took the microphone first, giving the signature introduction for he and Billy Gunn. "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages. D-Generation X proudly brings to you its five time WWE Tag Team Champions of the world! The "Road Dogg" Jesse James! The "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn! The New Age Outlaws!" Triple H then took the microphone, presenting the audience with one simple question. "Are you ready?" After a huge response, Hunter asked one more time if they were ready. "Then, for the thousands in attendance. For the millions watching around the world. And because this is the 1000th episode of Monday Night RAW!" After another loud reaction from St. Louis, Hunter noted that he'll see everyone once again when RAW hits 2000. "Lllllet's get ready to suck it!" said Hunter as the audience joined along. In an awkward situation, both Shawn Michaels and Billy Gunn walked to the center of the ring, ready to give the closing line. Gunn explained that he did the part pretty well, but Shawn stated that he was the originator of the entire group, and it was his line. As they bickered back and forth between who would say the line, the party was ruined by the arrival of assistant RAW General Manager, Brad Maddox.
- The audience gave Maddox a very hostile reaction as the assistant GM made his way down to the ring in what Booker T described as a "horrible-looking suit." Maddox said that he's sorry to spoil this little reunion, but there's really no time for it. "This is not the time for old-farts like the five of you to be stealing the spotlight. This is the biggest night in the history of RAW. Not because it's the 1000th episode, but because tonight, Mr. McMahon will finally name me the one and only General Manager. I need everything to go absolutely perfect, and none of you fit into those plans. So if you will, please get out of my ring and allow the show to progress. Because every minutes that passes is one that we will all be closer to me taking the office here on RAW." Triple H told Maddox that if he'll allow them to, they need to huddle up for a moment to discuss what they're going to do. As D-X huddled up, Maddox told them that they didn't have a choice. He ordered them to leave the ring, and he expects them to do so right now. They all paid no attention to him, continuing on with their huddle conversation. "I know you're all old, but you're not deaf. Your future boss just gave you an order!" shouted Maddox. "But I don't work here," said X-Pac. Hunter pulled him back into the huddle as they continued on. After they were done, Hunter told Maddox that they came up with a solution. At that very second, Shawn Michaels delivered Sweet Chin Music to him! Hunter then put Maddox into position for a Pedigree, planting him with it in the center of the ring. As the five of them stood over Maddox, Billy Gun gave the closing line. "I guess....if you're not down with that, we got two words for you!" D-X and the audience then shouted "Suck it!" in unison as their theme hit. Hunter, Michaels, Dogg, Gunn, and Pac all stood tall in the ring as Maddox could be seen crawling up the entrance ramp.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW 1000, the theme of Jim Ross hit as the audience gave him a great ovation. The Hall of Famer made his way down to ringside, taking a seat at the announce table. J.R. said that even if he's back on RAW for only one night, it's great to be back for the 1000th episode and celebrate the life of a show that's been a major part of not just his career, but his life. He, Cole, Lawler, and Booker continued on as they said that tonight, another former commentator will join them at the booth.
- UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP - CHRISTIAN DEF. EVAN BOURNE: The return match from TLC as Bourne was looking for both retribution and the chance to regain the United States Championship. As Bourne was going for a Bulldog, Christian was able to counter it and hit the Killswitch to get the victory.
- Christian slowly got to his feet as he was handed back the United States Championship, celebrating with it. Suddenly, he was struck from behind with a steel chair from Evan Bourne. Angered over losing his rematch for the gold, Bourne tossed another chair into the ring. He placed one under Christian's face, looking to take him out with one of his own signature moves. Suddenly, Bourne was hit with a Spear from Edge! The Rated R Superstar stood over Bourne as the audience erupted for him. Christian got up to his feet, meeting Edge face to face. The last time the two of them were in the same ring was at WrestleMania, where Edge cost Christian the United States Championship. For a moment, the hatchet seemed to have been buried as Edge handed Christian one of the chairs while taking the other for himself. Bourne slowly stirred to his feet, which proved to be a huge mistake. He was then hit with a Conchairto! Bourne's body crashed the mat as the audience went wild. Edge and Christian finally embraced in the ring, the two former WWE Tag Team Champions standing tall with Christian still as the United States Champion.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. CM Punk will challenge WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler for the gold, on RAW 1000.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW 1000, Josh Mathews was shown standing by at the backstage interview set. He stated that while tonight's RAW celebrates both the past and the present of superstars, we always have to keep the future in mind. The camera panned out to reveal three NXT prospects. Richie Steamboat, Paige, and the new NXT Champion, Seth Rollins. Mathews asked the three standouts for their thoughts on RAW 1000, and where they feel they will fit in for the next 1000 episodes. Steamboat said that many believe his goal is to follow his father's footsteps. "And while my father is one of the greatest to ever step into the ring, I'm hoping to make my own footsteps. And those footsteps will extend from now until the next 1000 episodes of Monday Night RAW." Paige said that she's already giving the Divas division on NXT a much-needed kick in the ass, and she hasn't even scratched the surface of the WWE. "So for the future of RAW, ever single Diva, present and future, needs to be aware of who will be leading the charge and the 'Anti-Diva' movement." Rollins went last, saying that last week was the greatest moment of his life as he finally overcame adversity and obstacles to become the NXT Champion. "But I know that won't stand as my greatest moment. My mark will be made here on RAW at some point in the future. And before you know it, 'NXT Champion Seth Rollins' will transform into 'WWE Champion Seth Rollins.'"
- THE MIZ AND ROMAN REIGNS DEF. ZACK RYDER AND KOFI KINGSTON: Brad Maddox's boys were looking to get back on track after being on the embarrassing end last week, Miz failing to gain title contention and Reigns being kicked out of the ring by Kingston and Ryder. This week, they were able to score a measure of revenge as Miz put Ryder away with the Skull Crushing Finale.
- Miz stood to his feet as he raised his arms in victory, much to the dismay of the St. Louis audience. Reigns and Kofi were still battling on the outside, but the leader of the Boom Squad was soon taken out with a Powerbomb onto the floor. Miz joined Reigns on the outside as the two stood tall together.
- Backstage, AJ Lee was shown in the Divas locker room as she prepares to take on Eve tonight for the Divas Championship. At that moment, she was confronted by the Bella Twins. They both told her that they find it ridiculous that on the most historic edition of RAW, she's the one getting the title shot when everyone knows that she has no chance. "You're crazy if you think you're going to win the Divas Championship," said Nikki. At the sound of that certain word, AJ snapped as she grabbed Nikki and tossed her into a wall, pounding away on her with several strikes. AJ stood up, facing Brie as the other twin slowly backed away from her.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW 1000, AW was shown in the ring with All World Promotions, Jack Swagger and the Prime Time Players. AW said that as of late, he doesn't believe that All World Promotions have been receiving the respect that they deserves. "But that all changes tonight here on RAW 1000 because I guarantee that there's no one in the back who is better than this trio that stands before all of you. 'Mr. No Days Off' Darren Young, 'The Real Deal' Titus O'Neil, and Jack 'So Full Of' Swagger, my clientele! If anyone in the back is looking for a fight, get your delusional selves out here!" said AW as he issued the open challenge on behalf of Swagger and the Prime Time Players.
- ALL WORLD PROMOTIONS W/ AW DEF. TOO COOL: AW's open challenge was accepted by the trio of Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty, and Grand Master Sexay, Too Cool. The audience gave the trio an overwhelming response, thoroughly behind them for the entire bout. However, they didn't get the result they had hoped for as Swagger managed to put Scotty away with the Gutwrench Powerbomb to get the victory for All World Promotions.
- The audience showered Swagger with boos as he, Darren Young, Titus O'Neil, and AW celebrated their victory in the ring. However, Too Cool didn't allow them to celebrate any further as Rikishi delivered a Clothesline that sent the Prime Time Players to the outside while Scotty and Grand Master Double Dropkicked Swagger out of the ring. Too Cool were left alone in the ring with AW, who was looking for a way out. There wasn't one, however, as he was hit with a Superkick from Grand Master Sexay. With AW lying on the canvas, Scotty 2 Hotty did his signature theatrics before hitting The Worm. Finally, Scotty and Grand Master placed AW in a corner as Rikishi began raising the roof. Swagger, Young, and O'Neil tried to intervene, but they weren't able to as Too Cool fended them off. Rikishi raised the roof for a bit before planting a Stink Face onto AW! Swagger pulled AW out of the ring as he and the Prime Time Players assisted him up the ramp, Young looking repulsed as he smelled the side of AW's face. Too Cool then stood in position to begin dancing as the lights shut. When they came back on, the trio were joined by Rikishi's sons, Jimmy and Jey Uso. Too Cool and The Usos danced in the ring, and incredible moment here on RAW 1000.
- Backstage, a locker room door was shown with a sign on it that read "RAW Legend." Michael Cole stated that coming up next, we would be joined by one of the biggest names in RAW history!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live August 19th, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning from the commercial break, Justin Roberts was shown reading something off of a note card in the ring. "Throughout the history of Monday Night RAW, many popular figures have emerged. But none before like this man. This man revolutionized sports entertainment through his esteemed leadership and understanding of what was best for business. A true role model to children all across the world, and an inspiration to millions. It is with great pleasure that I introduced to the WWE Universe, the most iconic and influential figure in RAW history. The former Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and General Manager, Mr. John Laurinaitis!"
- A chorus of boos emerged as Laurinaitis made his way out to the stage for the first time in three months. "Yes! Big Johnny is here! People Power lives!" shouted Michael Cole on commentary as the rest of the unit told him to sit down. He stepped into the ring, taking a microphone while the audience continued to show their displeasure. "My name is Mr. John Laurinaitis. I am the former Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, as well as the former General Manager of RAW." Laurinaitis said that it was three months ago back at Extreme Rules when he had the label "former" placed on him. "And it was all thanks to two men - CM Punk and John Cena." After the audience responded positively for the mention of the two mega stars, Laurinaitis said that he already spoke to Punk earlier tonight. "I tried to bury the hatchet with him, but he simply closed his door and told me to 'p*ss off,'" said Laurinaitis. "I also wanted to make amends with Cena, but I was unfortunately told that Cena is having transportation issues and has yet to make it to the arena." Laurinaitis said that even though the two of them were responsible for him being fired, many assumed that that was the end of him, and the end of People Power. "Recently, myself and Mr. McMahon have re-entered contract negotiations. Not for the General Manager role, but to simply rejoin the organization that I love more than anything else, the WWE." The audience continued to boo Laurinaitis, not buying his apparent change of heart.
- Before Laurinaitis could continue, the roof nearly came off of the arena as the theme of The Rock hit. The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment made his way out to the stage, staring down Laurinaitis from a distance. Rock made his way down to the ring, posing for a bit for the audience before grabbing a microphone. Laurinaitis tried to leave, but Rock stopped him. Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa....where in the blue hell do you think you're going? Got somewhere important to be?" asked the Great One. Laurinaitis tried to answer, but Rock cut him off with "It doesn't matter where you have to be! Sit your monkey ass down in this ring!" shouted Rock. When Laurinaitis sat down, Rock told him to stand back up. He just wanted to see how gullible he is. "Johnny, remember what happened the last time you and The Rock were in this ring together? If your old age is catching up with you and somehow forgot, let The Rock paint a little picture for you. April 1st, 2012. SunLife Stadium. The Rock's backyard. Once In a Lifetime. The Rock vs. John Cena. And halfway through the match, your candy ass comes waltzing down the ring with a chair, and you try handing it to The Rock. You wanted The Rock to put a beating on Cena. And The Rock did put a beating on someone, but not Cena. No, no, no, The Rock took his size 15 boot and put it straight to your ass!" The audience popped for The Rock as he continued to berate Laurinaitis, telling him that it was that moment where the tide changed. That moment where John Cena took the chair and claimed victory. "Because of you, The Rock failed to win. Because of you, The Rock was embarrassed in front of his friends and family. And a month later, you got fired. And The Rock is pretty sure that was God's way of telling you that karma is a bitch, bitch!" The crowd roared with "Rocky" chants as Laurinaitis told him that if it makes him feel better, he apologizes. "Oh, you apologize? And you think The Rock is going to let you walk away from all of this? You cost The Rock the biggest match of his career. Normally, The Rock would tell you to take your apology, shine it up real nice, turn that sumbitch sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass, but you would probably enjoy that you sick freak. So The Rock has something better for you." Suddenly, Rock grabbed Laurinaitis and planted him with the Rock Bottom!
- After Laurinaitis rolled out of the ring, Rock said that he came to RAW 1000 tonight for several reasons. The first was for himself. "The Rock wouldn't miss this night for the world! RAW 1000, a milestone in television history. And the show that The Rock considers to be his home away from home. The second reason was for you all, the people. For the millions, and millions, of The Rock's fans, this moment is for each and every single one of you who reps Team Bring It all day, every day, and with pride!" Rock then said that he came tonight because John Cena decided to issue a challenge to him. A mixed reaction emerged for the mention of Cena. Rock said that it's ironic how Cena also criticized him for never being on RAW, for always been late, for never showing at the moment of truth. "Well, Cena, The Rock is here. Standing tall and large in the middle of this ring. And The Rock comes to find that you're not here yet. And that's just too bad for you. But just like suit douche over there, karma came and bit you in the ass for what you did to me at WrestleMania XXVIII. Your purpose in calling out The Rock was to issue a challenge for him. And you know what? The Rock accepts." The audience popped as Rock continued on, saying that he would love nothing more than to avenge the biggest loss of his career. "Somewhere, someday, you will go one on one with Great One once again. Only this time, The Rock will be the one who claims victory. Whenever you want to go one more time, John, it's your call. Name a date, time, and place, and The Rock will be glad to bring it to your punk ass." Before Rock left, he had one final announcement to make. "Before WrestleMania, The Rock had a vision. A vision that came along with the vision of The Rock defeating John Cena at WrestleMania. And that vision was for the People's Champion to once again become WWE Champion!" Another huge pop came for The Rock, but he said that because of the result of WrestleMania, that vision was derailed a bit. "Even though The Rock doesn't agree with how he loss to Cena, he lost. And The Rock didn't feel that he deserved a shot at the WWE Championship. But right now, in front of the WWE Universe all over the world, The Rock is going to make an announcement. An announcement that The Rock wants you to put on your Facebook, your Twitter, your Tout, your Instagram, and whatever the hell else you got going on. Mark the date. January 27th, 2013. Phoenix, Arizona. For the first time in over a decade, The Rock will step into the ring as one of thirty participants in the Royal Rumble match. The Rock is looking for a shot at the WWE Championship, and he's going to earn it at the Royal Rumble. And from there, The Rock will go on to headline WrestleMania 29 from MetLife Stadium, and make history by once again becoming the WWE Champion. If you smellllll.....what The Rock....is.....cooking." After The Rock finished, he posed in the ring for the audience members for a bit. He may not have gotten John Cena tonight, but The Rock still sent shockwaves throughout the WWE with the announcement that on January 27th, he will be participating in the Royal Rumble match.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW 1000, a recap of the previous segment was shown. The brief return of John Laurinaitis was spoiled by the arrival of The Rock, who delivered Rock Bottom to the former Executive VP of Talent Relations. Due to travel issues, John Cena has yet to arrive to the arena, but that didn't stop The Rock from making an impact as the Great One revealed that he will be participating in the 2013 Royal Rumble match in six months.
- DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP - AJ LEE DEF. EVE VIA DISQUALIFICATION: The biggest match of AJ Lee's career awaited her as she had the opportunity to do what no Diva has been able to do yet - end Eve's reign. AJ looked to be on the verge of victory, ducking a kick from Eve and hitting an Enziguri. AJ looked to be getting ready for the Shining Wizard, but she was soon attacked from behind by Kaitlyn as the official called for the bell.
- Kaitlyn attacked AJ as the bell sounded, the match officially being ruled a disqualification, meaning that the Divas Championship still belongs to Eve. She soon joined Kaitlyn in the attack on AJ until Natalya made the save. The daughter of the Anvil cleaned house, taking Eve and Kaitlyn out of the ring. The two heel Divas headed up the entrance ramp as Natalya assisted AJ to her feet in the ring.
- A graphic was shown for Piper's Pit, featuring World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW 1000, Josh Mathews was shown backstage standing by with the Big Red Monster, Kane. Mathews asked Kane for his most memorable moment in RAW history, considering the fact that he's been a part of the show since 1997. Kane said that he holds many RAW memories for one of two reasons. Either due to the pain it caused him, or the pain he inflicted onto others. Kane reminded everyone of the moment back in 2003 when he set Jim Ross on fire. "And Josh, I'm sure there's some out there who can recall that moment. And it's a moment in RAW history that I would hate to be forgotten." Josh became frightened as it was clear that Kane was insinuating that he wanted to engulf him in flames. Suddenly, Kane was jumped by Ryback. The two monsters brawled, knocking over the camera man. While the camera man was down, a loud crash sound could be heard. The camera man was soon back on his feet as we saw Kane laid out on his front side, his mask in Ryback's hands! Ryback stood over Kane with his mask, gaining retribution for the attack last Friday on SmackDown.
- Returning to the arena, the ring was shown propped and ready for the return of the most controversial show in WWE history, Piper's Pit. The theme of the "Hotrod" hit as he made his way out to a great response from the St. Louis audience. Piper stepped into the ring, taking a microphone as he welcomed everyone to the return of Piper's Pit! "I'm not going to waste time with what everyone else has said tonight. 1000 episode, blah blah, you all already know the occasion. So we're going to cut straight to the chase. Ladies and gentlemen, the World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton!" The audience erupted as "Voices" hit, the Viper making his way down to the ring. He shook Piper's hand before taking a seat in the ring. "And my other guest tonight is........Cody Rhodes," said Piper in a rather flat and un amused voice. Rhodes headed down to the ring to a reaction opposite to that of Orton's. The two SummerSlam opponents came face to face as Piper stepped between them, telling them that this show isn't ready to be over just yet. "I remember when you two were just little children. And now, you're set to face off at SummerSlam for the richest prize in our sport, the World Heavyweight Championship." Rhodes told Piper that it's amazing how some things never change. "I hated you as a child, and standing in front of you right now, I realize that I still hate you," said Rhodes. "I didn't like you either as a child. What a spoiled little brat you were," said Piper to the amusement of the audience. "And Randy over here...well, you weren't that much better," said Piper. Orton told him that the feeling is mutual. "Okay. I can see that none of us see eye to eye. But, this isn't about me. This is about you two. This is about SummerSlam. This is about the World Heavyweight Championship," declared Piper. Rhodes told him that he's right about all of that, except for the fact that after SummerSlam, it will all only be about him. "The World Heavyweight Championship, SmackDown, and the WWE will all belong to me after I beat you in the middle of this ring at SummerSlam. And Orton, I'm going to leave you for dead. There won't be a single thing left to your name. And just like that, your career will see an ironic twist as I kill the legend of Randy Orton." After Rhodes was finished, Orton told him that leaving him for dead will be impossible. "Considering that in order to accomplish that, you're going to have to take the World Heavyweight Title from me. And I doubt you have what it takes to even attempt to 'kill' me." Rhodes told Orton that he's already making the first mistake, which is doubting him. "Don't doubt the man who is going to take your spot," he said. Orton told him that he has no reason to believe he can beat him, considering he's never been able to before. Piper came between Orton and Rhodes again, trying to keep them from fighting. "Actually, I think I've heard enough already," said Piper before stepped away from the two of them. "Roddy, I don't see why you believe you fit into this conversation. You may be a legend in this business, but you were never 'the guy.' So how does it feel to know that I'm about to capture the one thing that has alluded you for your entire life - the World Heavyweight Championship?"
- As the tension grew between Rhodes and Piper, the theme of Goldust hit to a nice response from the audience. We didn't exactly get Goldust, but rather Dustin Runnels, the brother of Cody Rhodes. Dustin stepped into the ring, asking Rhodes what was wrong with him? "How dare you disrespect a legend in our business like Roddy Piper? On the 1000th episode of RAW no less," asked Dustin. Rhodes told his brother that this had nothing to do with him, so he suggests that he stay out of it. "I know you're looking for an excuse to get back into the spotlight, but your time was over a long time ago, Dustin. And besides, you did nothing but tarnish the 'Rhodes' name. And for the 5 years, I have fought to bring honor and prestige back to our family. And at SummerSlam, I'm finally going to accomplish that when I become the World Heavyweight Champion," said Rhodes. Orton interrupted him, telling Rhodes to listen to Dustin. "You haven't done a damn thing yet to call yourself an all-time great, yet you seem to have the attitude and arrogance of one. By the way, Dustin, how's the stutter?" asked Orton in reference to his electrocution back in 2003. Rhodes said that it's a shame that no one else in the ring sees him for what he truly is. "Yes, I may not be a legend yet, but open your eyes. It's only a matter of time. Sooner than later, my legacy will surpass every single one of yours," said Rhodes towards Orton, Dustin, and Piper. Before Rhodes left the ring, he spat in the face of his brother. Orton tried to go after him, but Rhodes quickly evaded the ring. He headed up the entrance ramp as Orton and Dustin looked on at him in disgust.

- Returning to RAW 1000, Natalya and AJ Lee were shown walking backstage, AJ still distraught over the fact that she failed to capture the Divas Championship. As Natalya tried to calm her down, the two were approached by Trish Stratus and Lita. The two iconic Divas commended Natalya and AJ, saying they looked great out there. "Keep your head up, AJ. You did great a job, and your time will come soon enough," said Lita as Trish added that she agreed. AJ simply stared at the two for a bit before fainting.
- Returning to ringside, the commentary unit of Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, Booker T, and Jim Ross stated that this night has thus far been nothing short of historic. And the night will continue to excite as earlier, they promised that another former commentator would join them at the broadcast table. They sent things over to Justin Roberts, who introduced that commentator. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back to the announce team....John Bradshaw Layfield!" The theme of JBL hit as a limo made its way into the arena, the former WWE Champion exiting it. JBL made his way down to the announce table, joining the commentary unit.
- BRAY WYATT DEF. SANTINO MARELLA: Last week, Bray Wyatt promised to "baptize" the Funkasaurus Brodus Clay here tonight on the RAW 1000th episode. Much like last week, Wyatt pushed a crate down to ringside, the crate that contained Brodus. The match itself wasn't much to speak of. Santino tried to set up the Cobra, but wasn't allowed as Wyatt planted him with the Bray Baptism to pick up the win.
- Following the match, Wyatt rolled to the outside as he pushed the crate up to the stage. He took a microphone, saying that in a few moments, Brodus Clay will be free from the crate. "But he won't be free from just the crate. He'll be free from the lies and fairy tales of the world! No longer will a disco ball give him useless guidance. From this point on, Brodus will look into my heart for guidance in his life! My child will come to life! The Funkasaurus is extinct, just like the rest of them dinosaurs. The only thing that's real are the monsters. The monsters that lie underneath your bed and in your closet every night! How do I know they're real! Because you're looking at one! I'm a monster! And now, so is Brodus! Breathe, my child! Breathe!" Wyatt then opened the crate and tossed it over as water poured out of it. Brodus Clay crawled out of the crate, drenched in water. He crawled towards Wyatt, bowing to him. Wyatt laughed sadistically as Brodus continued to worship him, officially transforming the Funkasaurus into "his child."
- At this time, a special video tribute was shown to perhaps the greatest superstar in RAW history, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Jim Ross noted that Austin was unable to be here tonight due to recent surgery. He said that he knows Austin is watching at home, and toasting a cold beer to 1000 episodes of a show that he had a massive impact on.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW 1000, the theme of Mr. McMahon hit as the Chairman made his way into the arena for the second time tonight. This time to determine the fate of Monday Night RAW as he will evaluate the performances of Ric Flair and Brad Maddox, the two men clashing for the General Manager position. McMahon said that he wasn't looking to take too much time with this, asking for both Flair and Maddox to head out to the ring now. The theme Flair hit as the Nature Boy made his way out to the stage for the first time in about a month, last appearing when he was attacked by Maddox, Miz, and Roman Reigns. After Flair stepped into the ring, Brad Maddox made his way out to a ton of heat from the St. Louis audience. Maddox was clearly still feeling the effects of the beating he took from D-Generation X at the start of the show. After Maddox stepped into the ring, McMahon said that he's had a week to fully evaluate the both of them and take everything under consideration. "I'll start with you, Brad," said McMahon as Maddox was visibly nervous. "In your time as the assistant General Manager, you wrongfully stripped Wade Barrett of the WWE Championship. Got involved in the title match at No Way Out and allowed The Miz to win. You set up a fake family emergency for Flair. And you attacked CM Punk after his Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match at TLC. And somehow through all of this, you expect me to name you the RAW General Manager." It seemed clear to everyone that Maddox would soon be out of a job. "Ric, there are a few things that I need to address with you. First, you signed Maddox to a contract without first notifying the Board of Directors. And on top that, you signed a man who had no credentials. Maddox was simply a janitor. You hired a freakin' janitor and trusted him in aiding you in running the WWE's flagship show." McMahon then told Flair that footage was recently sent to him that reveals certain "events" that took place with Flair. "I am not going to air the footage, but it was delivered to me via Brad's cameraman, Carson. And even though this may be an invasion of privacy, I can't overlook what it reveals. The footage that I saw showed several females entering your hotel room, which included some of our very own Divas. Do you recall this, Flair?" asked McMahon. "Vince, you really thought that when you hired the Nature Boy that he would only do business behind a desk? You should know just as well as anyone else that the Nature Boy is always doing business in other places. And to answer your question, yes, I do recall it well. Aksana, Rosa, Maxine....yeah, that's it," said Flair. McMahon told him that this isn't a matter for him to be laughing at. "This is a serious matter, Ric. And because of that, I don't know if I trust you in the General Manager position." At that moment, Maddox began celebrating as he assumed that he would be given the job. "And I damn sure don't trust you in this position, either!" yelled McMahon towards Maddox. "But, I have to make a decision between on you two. And I'm not going to make the decision. What I've decided is that we're going to settle this dispute in the ring at SummerSlam. Maddox, you take any five superstars you would like. And Flair, you do the same. It's going to a 5-on-5 Elimination Match. And whoever's team wins, that man will be named the sole General Manager of RAW."
- After Vince left the ring, Maddox told Flair that he already has the advantage in this Elimination Match. "Because unlike you, I have an eye for real talent. My team will wipe the floor with yours. And I'd like to go ahead and announce my team captain, The Miz!" Miz's theme hit as the "Awesome One" made his way down to the ring, proud to be revealed as the captain of Team Maddox for SummerSlam. Maddox told Flair that it doesn't matter who he chooses. He'll just fall flat on his face and be left without a job once again. "And you know what else?" asked Maddox as Miz kicked Flair in his knee. The Nature Boy dropped to the mat as the audience showered Miz and Maddox with boos. With Flair down, Miz teased locking him in his own Figure Four. Suddenly, Wade Barrett hit the ring. Maddox quickly escaped the ring, but Miz didn't as he and Barrett went at it. Barrett was able to gain the upperhand, getting Miz in a corner and hitting him with repeated strikes. He then hoisted Miz up to his shoulders, planting him with the Wasteland! Miz rolled out of the ring as Maddox assisted him up the ramp, Barrett standing tall. Flair was soon back on his feet as he made an announcement of his own to counter Maddox's. "Hey, Brad! You got your team captain, and guess what? So do I," said Flair as Barrett looked at him in confusion. Flair extended his hand to Barrett, offering him the spot as his team captain. Barrett picked up the microphone, telling Flair that if there's anything in the world that he hates more than him, it's those two jackasses on the stage. Barrett then accepted Flair's handshake, officially being named the captain of Team Flair for SummerSlam.

- Returning to RAW 1000, a recap of the previous segment was shown. Mr. McMahon announced that at SummerSlam, Brad Maddox and Ric Flair will choose five men to represent them in an Elimination Match for the General Manager position. We already know the team captains as The Miz will lead the charge for Team Maddox, and Wade Barrett will do the same for Team Flair.
- WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPION TED DIBIASE W/ MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY DEF. SHEAMUS: The newly named "Wrestling Royalty" were looking for revenge after their loss last Friday on SmackDown. McGillicutty attempted to get involved, but was hit with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus. As the referee's focus was on getting McGillicutty out of the ring, DiBiase took one of the WWE Tag Team Championships and leveled Sheamus with it. He tossed the title out of the ring as the official noticed him going for the cover, making the three count to give DiBiase the victory.
- The audience expressed their disapproval for the finish as DiBiase stood to his feet, raising his WWE Tag Team Championship in the air. McGillicutty, still feeling the effects of the Brogue Kick, slowly slid into the ring as he went after Sheamus. DiBiase joined him, the WWE Tag Team Champions taking advantage of the Celtic Warrior. Suddenly, the audience erupted as Chris Jericho hit the ring. He was able to clean house of Wrestling Royalty, forcing them to retreat. DiBiase and McGillicutty realized that they failed to put an end to Jericho as Y2J stood tall in the ring with Sheamus, the two not quite finished yet with Wrestling Royalty.
- Backstage, United States Champion Christian and Edge were shown walking backstage, talking a bit as they were looking to put all of their issues behind them. They approached Christian's locker room, opening the door. After opening it, Gangrel was shown at the door! The former mentor for Edge and Christian drank out of his signature goblet before spitting out blood. As Gangrel let out a laugh, Edge slowly closed the door as he and Christian were clearly freaked out.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. CM Punk will be looking to right the wrongs from TLC as he challenges Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship. But coming up next, after a six year absence, Kurt Angle will make his long awaited return to the WWE!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW 1000, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was shown in the ring as he was ready to re-introduce one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step into a WWE ring. "Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to present to you all the only Olympic Gold Medalist in WWE history, Kurt Angle!" The audience erupted as Angle's theme hit. He made his way out to the stage a huge ovation, followed by the signature "You Suck" portion of his theme music. After Angle stepped into the ring, Teddy handed the microphone as he gave him the spotlight. "After a series of "Angle" chants, he said that there's no better feeling in the world than what he is feeling. "Believe what you're seeing. This is the 1000th episode of Monday Night RAW. And this is Kurt Angle back in the WWE! The Wrestling Machine is back. Oh it's true. It's damn true!" Angle then said that it was six years ago when he decided to take a break. He didn't know himself whether or not he would ever be back in the WWE, but he always believed in one saying. "Never say never," Angle said. "And I was right in believing in that. Because a while back, I got a call from Teddy Long who asked if I wanted to have one last go at the WWE. The time was right, the circumstances were right, and I decided that coming back for one final ride was right." Before Angle could go on, he was interrupted by the arrival of Daniel Bryan. Bryan made his way down to the ring as he and Angle came face to face, a dream confrontation becoming a reality. "Did I hear you right, Kurt? The 'Wrestling Machine?' Give me a break. You may have been a Wrestling Machine back in the days of your prime, but I don't believe for a single second that you're not just a shell of your former self now. There's only one true Wrestling Machine in the WWE today, and he's standing right in front of you," said Bryan. "Are you sure, Daniel? Because all I see standing in front of me is a hobbit with a beard that I wouldn't even grow in a midlife crisis." Bryan took offense to Angle's comments, claiming that he and his beard are handsome. "You're just jealous of me, Kurt," said Bryan. Angle responded with a simple "No." Bryan responded with a "Yes," which led to a trade off between the two. The audience joined Angle in shouting "No!" as Bryan became aggravated.
- The bickering was soon interrupted by the arrival of Bryan's rival, Dean Ambrose. The Psychotic Superstar stepped into the ring as Bryan exited it, not wanting any of Ambrose at the moment. "Relax, Bryan. I didn't come out here for you," said Ambrose as he turned his attention to Angle. "Hi, I'm Dean Ambrose. Get in my way and I will beat the living crap out of you," he told Angle. Angle responded by telling Ambrose that it's the same the other way around. "I came here to let you know that as long as you're in the WWE, you're a target. A target that I will eviscerate on my way to the top of this company and the World Heavyweight Championship," said Ambrose. "I appreciate the warning, Ambrose, but I feel you need one as well. You don't know me. You've never personally felt the punishment that I can deliver. You may be a lunatic in the head, but I'm a lunatic in the ring. And I will snap every bone and ligament in your body if it means getting closer to the World Heavyweight Championship, because that's what I'm here for," said Angle. Suddenly, "No!' shouted Daniel Bryan on the outside. "Neither of you are the next the World Heavyweight Champion. Because that is me!" he shouted again. Ambrose and Angle both said "No!" in unison. The trade off happened once again, this time with Angle on the side of Ambrose and the audience. Bryan slid back into the ring, getting in their faces. Angle soon had enough as he delivered a Headbutt to Bryan! He rolled out of the ring while holding his forehead as Angle and Ambrose faced off once again. Ambrose simply told Angle to "watch his back" before leaving the ring. Angle posed in the ring for a bit, making his return to the WWE and making enemies out of two men who were already enemies with one another, Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose.
- Backstage, CM Punk was shown walking towards the ring when he was met by Bret Hart. The "Hitman" wished Punk luck in his rematch tonight with Ziggler, saying that he deserves to be WWE Champion more than anyone else. "I say that because I respect you, Punk. And I respect you enough to do this," said Hart before taking off his shades and putting them on Punk. "This.....this is ridiculous, over the top, and so wrong," said Punk. ".....which means I'm going to do it," he added before continuing on, his WWE Championship match with Dolph Ziggler coming up next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to the 1000th episode of Monday Night RAW, Michael Cole gave the viewers at home an update on John Cena's travel issues. Cena has reportedly just arrived in St. Louis and is en route to the arena.
- WWE CHAMPIONSHIP - DOLPH ZIGGLER DEF. CM PUNK VIA DISQUALIFICATION: A fantastic main event to RAW 1000 as Punk was looking to gain retribution for Ziggler's Money In The Bank cash in back at TLC. Towards the end of the bout, the official was knocked out after an inadvertent Flying Forearm from Punk. As he tried to revive the official, Punk was hit with a Superkick from Ziggler. The champion got the cover, but realized there was no one to make the count. Ziggler tried to take advantage of the situation by grabbing the WWE Championship from ringside. He waited for Punk to get to his feet in the ring before swinging the title at his head. Punk dodged the shot, kicking Ziggler in the mid-section before picking up the gold. He struck with Ziggler with it, but didn't realize that the official was conscious enough to see it. He called for the bell, disqualifying Punk.
- The audience booed as Punk himself was disappointed, knowing that he blew his opportunity to regain the WWE Championship. As the announcement was made that Ziggler is still the champion, Punk took his frustrations out on him. He tossed Ziggler to the outside, lifting him up for the Go To Sleep. Rather than hitting Ziggler with his knee, he dropped him face-first onto the steel steps. Punk took the WWE Championship, raising it high in the air before dropping it onto Ziggler.
- Backstage, John Cena was shown finally arriving to the arena, heading down to the ring to address the WWE Universe and The Rock, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live Sunday August 19th, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to RAW 1000, a recap of the previous WWE Championship match was shown as Dolph Ziggler managed to sneak away with the victory after Punk accidentally got himself disqualified. However, Punk would take his anger out on Ziggler with a post-match beat down. Footage from the commercial break was shown as Ziggler was assisted up the entrance ramp, raising the WWE Title to a chorus of boos.
- Cutting back to the arena, the theme of John Cena hit to a mixed reaction, but more-so positive. He quickly made his way down to the ring, not wanting to waste any time after arriving late to the show. He grabbed a microphone, quickly apologizing for the travel issues. "This is the biggest edition of Monday Night RAW in history, and I almost missed it. I made it, but I understand that I missed The Rock's little speech." The audience popped for the mention of The Rock as Cena continued on. "The Rock will be entering the Royal Rumble match, and that's fine. Good for him, he wants to go to WrestleMania 29 with a shot at the WWE Championship. So guess what that means? I want to go to WrestleMania 29 with the WWE Championship. Rock told me to name a date, time, and place for our rematch. And if the pieces all fall in place, MetLife Stadium on April 7th will be where it all goes down for the WWE Championship!" After the audience popped, Cena said that we won't until WrestleMania season rolls around if that's indeed where the rematch will take place. "I don't want to wait until then to meet The Rock face to face again. So Rock, I don't even know if you're still in the back. But if you are, I want you to come down to this ring so you and I can talk face to face."
- Cena patiently waited in the ring for The Rock, but it didn't look like the Great One was still present in the arena. However, a familiar theme hit as the audience jumped to their feet and erupted. Seconds later, Brock Lesnar made his way out to the stage! The audience erupted once again at the sight of the "Next Big Thing" while Cena appeared to be stunned in the ring. The commentators themselves were at a loss for words as they didn't speak. Lesnar made his way down to the ring, the audience even chanting "holy sh*t!" Lesnar stepped into the ring, meeting Cena face to face. After the two stared at each other for a bit, Lesnar lifted him up to his shoulders! The audience erupted against as Lesnar planted Cena with an F-5! He stood tall over Cena, the "Next Big Thing" shocking the world and making his return to the WWE as the 1000th edition of Monday Night RAW faded out.

I'm not in a great mood, but I want to reply to this since I feel like I've been pretty delayed, so I'll run through the main stuff.
I think the opening of the show was the right thing to do, pretty much replicating real life only using Brad Maddox instead of Damien Sandow. It was necessary to have a DX reunion so it works. Christian going over Evan Bourne made sense, he couldn't have lost the title there, and the ending with Edge was a nice touch. Big win for The Miz and Roman Reigns, good to see Reigns on the winning run now. Always good to see a good old fashioned return, and Too Cool was no exception. Their loss was the right call since they'd have nothing to gain from winning, but I liked that they got the spotlight in the end for their one night return. I often think Scotty 2 Hotty would be a valuable talent to have full time though, and even Rikishi, to be honest. Grandmaster, not so much. Great segment with The Rock, finally getting his retribution on John Laurinaitis from WrestleMania and then the major announcement. Announcing his entrance to the Royal Rumble is ten times better than announcing he'll be going for the WWE Championship, that's for sure. Bray Wyatt over Santino was obvious, but that was some freaky shiznit with Brodus Clay. A good 5-on-5 never hurt anyone, and I really hope Ric Flair's team are victorious, but this is also reminiscent of real-life WrestleMania's Tag Team Match for power. I remember I was planning the match for my SummerSlam in one of my diaries. Big win for Ted DiBiase even with Jericho involved. Nice to see Gangrel back there. Kurt Angle is back?! What?! And to feud with Bryan? I think I just died, come resuscitate me, Ryan. A DQ finish to the Main Event was necessary to keep both men looking strong tonight. And last but not least, the return of Brock Lesnar is huge. Big match at SummerSlam I assume? I think so. A great 1000th episode of Raw!

What a return from Brock Lesnar planting Cena with an enormous F-5, Brock Lesnar, the Beast is back in the WWE and what better way for Lesnar to come back by attacking Cena, and hopefully it leads to Cena vs Lesnar at SummerSlam and if it does, it is obvious it will be Lesnar vs Cena in the main event and that it will close out the show
Kurt Angle also returning to the WWE and he is back in a WWE ring for the first time since 2006 and he interacts with both Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose, so you know Angle he will eventually feud with both of these superstars but now that Kurt is back, I want to see him turn his attention to the World Heavyweight Championship but for right now, who can Kurt Angle feud with?
Team Maddox vs Team Flair at SummerSlam, 5 on 5 match up, I can't wait, personally I want Flair's team to win at SummerSlam because that is how much I want Maddox gone
The Rock making his announcement that at the 2013 WWE Royal Rumble, that Rock is going to be one of the 30 entrants in the 2013 Royal Rumble Match, then Rock is obviously the favorite to win it all and headline WrestleMania 29
Loved Edge returning on RAW 1000 and him spearing Evan Bourne after Bourne attacked Christian, and Christian and Edge giving Bourne a Conchairto, loved it, but what was an OMG moment was them running into their former mentor Gangrel
DX Reunion, gotta love those and them attacking Brad Maddox, he deserved it

Liking the opening to Raw 1000 with D-Generation X as in real life, glad you used Maddox here (since you haven't called up Sandow to the main roster yet). Christian getting the win over Evan Bourne makes sense. I really don't care for Bourne honestly. He is just so bland no matter how you twist him character wise. Nice appearance from Edge afterward for the nostalgia. Good win for The Miz and Reigns here. Good to have AW Promotions win the match and still keep the good touch afterward with Too Cool getting their bit in. Doesn't harm them at all. The Rock interrupting Big Johnny and getting his revenge on him is sweet, glad you decided to put him in the Royal Rumble match as well instead of a match. Makes it much more questionable to if he wins or not. Blah, divas stuff and interferences and divas stuff. I'm guessing we'll have a big divas match at Summerslam. I don't know. Good attack by Ryback on Kane, getting the mask is huge too. Well. I guess it is, seeing as how he put it back on less than a year ago. Oh well. Still makes a big statement. Good Piper's Pit with an appearance from Black Reign, looking forward to the match between Orton and Rhodes and maybe you'll slap the belt on Rhodes. I'm not sure though. JBL is back! Woo! Bray Wyatt winning is obvious. Good promo to announce the settling of a 5-on-5 match at Summerslam. I would complain about it being too close to Survivor Series, but I did it before and found no problem with it! So, whatever I suppose. Like the captains too. Awesome to see Kurt Angle back, and I hope he has a good run. Ziggler getting Punk to get himself disqualified is great, gives some heat for Dolph and makes Punk look a bit inferior too him. BORK LAZOR! BORK LAZOR! BORK LAZOR IS BACK AND HE IS GOING TO MURDER JOHN CENA! Great show.

As for the 5-on-5 match for Team Flair I can easily see it being Barrett, a mystery man, Christian, Kofi and Ryder taking on the team of Team Maddox being Miz, Reigns, Bourne, and the Primetime Players O'Neil and Young but I will be surprised if this isn't the case
And as for the WWE Championship I could easily see Ziggler defending his title against CM Punk again but with the stipulation added that if Ziggler gets himself disqualified or even counted out that Ziggler will lose the WWE Championship, which means that it would be a disadvantage for Ziggler but an advantage for Punk because it would make the match even, making it fair for Punk taking the championship advantage away from Ziggler so then that way we can see just what type of a champion he will be
And Cena vs Lesnar is almost a guarantee for SummerSlam especially after RAW 1000, in Lesnar's first match back in the WWE, and on a grand stage such as SummerSlam, for he and Cena to face off against one another it is perfect really
And as for Rey's farewell this is the match-up I am looking most forward to
But as for Kurt Angle, I wonder if he will be on the SummerSlam card and if he is, then I wonder just who Angle will face in his first pay per view back in the WWE

WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs: Sunday 15th July 2012...Sheamus defeating Mason Ryan on the YouTube pre-show was fine. Hopefully he won't be on the pre-show again in 2012, though. Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty attacking him came off as a little strange honestly, I'm thinking this should have happened on the actual pay-per-view as well honestly, rather than being held on the forgettable pre-show. Hot opening contest between Evan Bourne and Christian in the Ladder match; and it was the right decision for Christian to finally win the WWE United States Championship. Now, I'm not sure where you're planning to take Bourne, but it is good that their program has finally concluded, hopefully. Hah, a nice exchange between the Miz and Damien Sandow, quite different gimmicks meeting up, with the WWE Champion and the NXT Championship. Strange for Sandow to offer advice to Miz, especially stating that he doesn't need assistance. An equalizer eh? Hmm...Bray Wyatt defeating Brodus Clay was fine, as expected. Not really what I'd call pay-per-view material, but it'll be interesting as to how Brodus changes as Wyatt begins his cult. It's a little early to have the no-disqualification match, but I think you didn't have too much of a choice, what with having four gimmick matches to cram into this three-hour event. Solid encounter with Kane and Ryback, as Ryback's streak was put in jeopardy for potentially the first time ever, really. Ryback winning in the end was inevitable however. I'd love to see you build Ryback up for a feud with the Undertaker heading into WrestleMania XXIX, streak vs streak. Eve retaining the WWE Divas Championship against Natalya was expected, not a lot else to add, other than how much I've admired their feud as an ideal follow-up from Eve taking Beth Phoenix out of the company. Up next, heated conclusion to the Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose that certainly will have put the oh-so-prestigious Chair match on the map, for sure. I'm hoping that the Vertebreaker is saved for future occasions from this point on, honestly. It'd be cool for WrestleMania and big shows, but on free television and B-pay-per-views, it may be a little too dangerous potentially. Interesting to see Ambrose get the victory, I am assuming that this rivalry has reached a conclusion. Following this, a filler as expected, to cool down the audience between big matches. Roman Reigns picking up the victory was for the best against an already established star like Zack Ryder. Up next, the WWE Tag Team Championship Tables match. I like the utilization of the Tag belts whilst Randy Orton is due to defend his World Heavyweight Championship at next month's SummerSlam. A nice, effective buffer indeed. As expected, another strong showing for Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty, who are basically the underdogs of the company right now. And finally, the big Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the WWE Championship. Normally, I'd hate seeing two gimmick matches back-to-back like this, but there's no other way around it. CM Punk managing to win the WWE title was great, as the Miz didn't really prove his worth during this reign honestly. Wow, great interruption from Roman Reigns and Brad Maddox, making Reigns look even more beastly. Wade Barrett made the save? A face turn for Barrett would be interesting, but I do doubt that it would work. Especially a month after his heelish actions towards Punk, Ryder and Ric Flair. And wow, Dolph Ziggler wins in the closing moments! Great decision here, I thought it was a little off that Ziggler and John Cena's climax wasn't even featured on this TLC pay-per-view, but now it makes perfect sense. A solid show overall, though subpar due to the "star power fuelled" series of pay-per-views prior to this one. Arguably the more memorable show however, I'll give the upcoming week of television a reply tomorrow. It is interesting to note however, some of your big rivalries have appeared to climax tonight. A month away from SummerSlam, at that. It'll be interesting where it all goes from here.
