Friday Night SmackDown Classy Paul Bearer tribute. Truly one of the greatest mangers of all time, there's no doubt. Onto the show. This should be a great show, and it's gotta match up to the announcement of Lesnar/Cena on RAW. Good call to kick off the show with a promo from Cody Rhodes and Dustin Runnels. I sort wished you brought him in as Dustin Rhodes though, it's just weird when they're walking around with two different last names. Great promo from the two, and I still hope Cody takes the title at SummerSlam. He's ready. I see Dustin taking a punt in the near future and being written off. Orton not here tonight, interesting. Divas as the first match of the show is odd, but to be fair they're all great wrestlers so it works. Eve choosing nobody to face her at SummerSlam was great. Ricardo! Loved the "Behind the Music" video with 3MB. Great idea and it worked. Finally, Joe Hennig gets the name change. Fine win for Wrestling Royalty over the Uso's. Hot first hour main event for the Intercontinental Championship. Antonio Cesaro retaining was for the best, I think. His reign has been great so far, keep it up. Fatal Four Way at SummerSlam for the Diva's title, alright. Obvious victory for Ryback over Hunico. Kane getting some revenge after the match was needed, a steel cage match at SummerSlam should be great. Chuckled at Sheamus' line after laying out Maddox backstage. Rhodes versus Sin Cara ending in a no contest was the best call, this going right before the main even seems odd, though. Orton's here! Orton, Mysterio, and Cara standing tall was fine. Jericho and Barrett against Wrestling Royalty on RAW, sweet. Lastly, fantastic main event with Bryan just stealing a win over Ambrose. Angle standing tall is fine for tonight, a triple threat at SummerSlam would be fun. Overall, great episode of SmackDown with some sweet build towards SummerSlam.

THEN. NOW. FOREVER. - Following a new intro video featuring Shinedown's "Adrenaline," pyro blasted from the stage as cameras scanned the audience here in San Antonio. The commentary trio of Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and John "Bradshaw" Layfield welcomed everyone to Monday Night RAW as we are now just less than two weeks away from the Summer extravaganza known as SummerSlam. And last week, fireworks went off as the main event for SummerSlam was set, John Cena going one on one with Brock Lesnar. After an all out brawl last week, what will be the response from both men? Plus, the WWE Tag Team Championships are up for grabs as Wrestling Royalty defend against the reunited pairing of Chris Jericho and Team Flair captain, Wade Barrett. All that and more tonight on RAW.
- The theme of John Cena hit to a mixed reaction from the sold out audience. Cena made his way out to the stage, giving his usual salute before running down to the ring. He grabbed a microphone and said that last week, the world watched as history was made. "The stage is now set and the match is now official. At SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar will step back into a WWE ring and go one on one with John Cena. Brock and I both have our differences and we aired them towards one another. But there was one thing that we did agree on, and that's the fact that neither of us want to wait until August 19th to go at it." A few more crowd cheers emerged as Cena continued on. "Some people may think that I have a death wish, but all I have the urge to kick Brock Lesnar's ass. So Brock, I'm calling you out. Let's finish what we started lat week!" Cena put his microphone on the canvas as he prepared to do battle with the "Next Big Thing" once again. However, we didn't get Lesnar. Instead, we got the arrival of the WWE Champion, Dolph Ziggler. "John, where are your manners? In case you forgot, I am the WWE Champion, which means that this is my show. And I'm not going to let you hog the spotlight and attempt to steal my show by calling out Brock Lesnar. I know this may be a hard concept for you to grasp, John, but the spotlight isn't on you anymore. It's shining bright on the hottest damn thing in sports entertainment today and the man who will beat CM Punk at SummerSlam in the real main event. No offense, Brock. But yeah, that's me. So I suggest you get out of my ring, take a number, get in the line, and for once in your entire career, wait patiently for your time." Cena told Ziggler that he hasn't failed to notice that he is the WWE Champion, and is actually quite happy for him. "I know how much you've busted your ass over the last couple of years to get to this point, and I'm proud of you as a competitor. As a person, I want nothing more than for someone to take their fist and fix that oversized jaw of yours," said Cena. "That's cute, you have more immature jokes that are only thought to be humorous by people who are being tucked in right now. And John, remember something else. You can talk all you want, but when you and I stepped into this ring together and had our trilogy of matches not too long ago, who came out on top? Who finally solved the 'John Cena Problem?' And who came out of that rivalry with their hand raised high and, eventually, the WWE Championship draped over their shoulder? Because it damn sure wasn't you."
- As Ziggler continued to berate Cena, the audience jumped to their feet as the theme of CM Punk hit. The former WWE Champion made his way down to the ring, grabbing a microphone and telling Ziggler that despite being the WWE Champion, he shouldn't be so proud of himself. "For someone whose shirt says 'It's not showing off if you back it up,' you sure do a lot of talking as opposed to backing it up. And as far as I'm concerned, you can't back it up. You walk around here with my WWE Championship and act like you're the hottest thing in the world right now," said Punk. "That's because I am. Thank you for noticing," responded Ziggler. Punk told Ziggler that if he really is as good as he claims to be, he would have had the balls to cash in Money In The Bank to his face as opposed to his back. On top of that, he wouldn't have had to resort to a disqualification victory as RAW 1000. "And at SummerSlam, your little 'Show Off' image is going to come crashing down when I prove what myself and the entire world already know. You don't steal shows. The only thing you have ever stolen is my WWE Championship, which I will reclaim when I prove that in a fair fight, you can't beat me. And no matter how much you clamor about yourself, you're not good enough to hang with the 'Best in the World.'" The audience popped for Punk as he and Ziggler stared off, Cena still present in the corner. Suddenly, the audience's cheers turned to jeers with the arrival of John Laurinaitis. Laurinaitis said that he is only here tonight to make an announcement from the desk of the Chairman, Mr. McMahon. "John, I regret to inform you that Brock Lesnar is not here tonight. However, that doesn't mean that you won't be in action. Tonight, in that very ring, John Cena will go one on one with the WWE Champion, Dolph Ziggler." The audience popped for the announcement as Ziggler seemed a bit hesitant, telling Laurinaitis that he has a title match in thirteen night to worry. He can't waste any time on someone as undeserving and unworthy of his presence like Cena. "Well then, I'm sorry to inform you that your match with Cena tonight will be for the WWE Championship!" The crowd erupted as Ziggler's face remained still in disbelief over the announcement. Punk and Cena were both full of smiles, though, as tonight, Ziggler may finally get his comeuppance as he must defend his WWE Title against Cena, right here tonight on RAW!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk)
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, a recap of the opening segment was shown that featured a huge announcement from John Laurinaitis on behalf of Mr. McMahon. Just two weeks before SummerSlam, Dolph Ziggler will defend the WWE Championship against John Cena, tonight!
- ROMAN REIGNS W/ BRAD MADDOX AND THE MIZ DEF. SHEAMUS W/ RIC FLAIR, KOFI KINGSTON, AND ZACK RYDER: A monstrous opening contest as the two juggernauts from Team Flair and Team Maddox collided. The rest of the teams were present at ringside, minus Ted DiBiase, Joe Hennig, Chris Jericho, and Wade Barrett as they prepare for tonight's WWE Tag Team Championship match. Towards the end, Maddox and Miz engaged in a war of words with Flair and Ryder. Kofi soon intervened, hoping onto the barricade and diving onto Miz and Maddox. The official turned his attention to the scuffle at ringside, ordering all five men to the back. During that, Sheamus had Reigns in a roll-up for more than a three count. The Celtic Warrior then tried to get the official's attention, but it backfired on him as he turned around and was drilled with a Spear that Reigns the victory.
- Reigns rolled out of the ring as he joined Miz and Maddox on the entrance ramp, scoring a huge victory over a former WWE Champion. Flair, Ryder, and Kofi all remained at ringside, looking on at the triumphant trio of Miz, Brad Maddox, and Roman Reigns.
- Backstage, WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler was shown in the locker room area, throwing a temper tantrum at the fact that he must defend the WWE Championship against John Cena tonight. Soon, John Laurinaitis walked into the room. He apologized to Ziggler, telling him that the last thing he wanted to do was make the announcement of a championship tonight. "You've beaten Cena twice already. He doesn't need another shot," said Laurinaitis. Ziggler remained silent as Laurinaitis told him that everything will be fine tonight. "Trust me," he said.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Roman Reigns, Sheamus, Team Maddox)
- Returning from the commercial break, R-Truth was shown backstage, apparently comforting Little Jimmy. Josh Mathews approached him, asking for an update on Jimmy after he was "kidnapped" by Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks. "Lil' Jimmy's had a rough two weeks. I finally got him back yesterday, and it breaks my heart to see him so traumatized. Which is why on SmackDown this Friday, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks are gon' get got! Come on, Lil' Jimmy. I'll buy you a new tricycle," said Truth as he walked away, holding the hand of Little Jimmy, or as we see it, air.
- JACK SWAGGER DEF. JUSTIN GABRIEL: Swagger showed a rather serious side here tonight, coming off of his release from All World Promotions last week. The All American American was able to make short work of Gabriel, finishing him off with a Gutwrench Powerbomb to get the victory.
- Swagger stood to his feet following the sound of the bell, raising his arm in victory while standing over Gabriel's body. He then made his way up the entrance ramp, Cole stating on commentary that we may be looking at a new and improved Jack Swagger.
- Backstage, Ric Flair, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, Brad Maddox, The Miz, and Roman Reigns were all shown in a scuffle as several officials were attempting to restore order among the rivaling teams. John Laurinaitis soon entered the scene, shouting for order. He said that he received a call from Mr. McMahon, who requested for him to make another announcement on his behalf. "Ryder, Kofi, Sheamus, Miz, and Reigns. The five of you must leave the arena right now. Only Ric Flair and Brad Maddox will be allowed to remain present for the WWE Tag Team Championship match." Both teams were outraged over the decision, but had no choice to comply as they were escorted out of the building.
- A graphic for the WWE Tag Team Championship match between Wrestling Royalty and the team of Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett was shown, the field now even as Team Flair and Team Maddox have been escorted out of the arena. That match is up next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Jack Swagger, Team Flair, Team Maddox)
- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. After the events of last week, a special tag team main event will take place. World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton will team up with Sin Cara to take on Cody Rhodes and his brother, Dustin Runnels. Plus, after Kurt Angle made his mark by laying out both Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose, what is next for the Olympic Gold Medalist? And will Bryan and Ambrose seek revenge? Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS - WADE BARRETT AND CHRIS JERICHO W/ RIC FLAIR DEF. WRESTLING ROYALTY W/ BRAD MADDOX VIA DQ: A fantastic WWE Tag Team Championship bout to round out the first hour here on RAW from San Antonio. With both Team Flair and Team Maddox being forced out of the arena, the playing field was even. After Jericho planted Hennig on the outside with a Tornado DDT, things looked to be in the favor of he and Barrett. DiBiase was to turn things around by locking Barrett in position for Dream Street, but it was quickly countered. Barrett hoisted him up onto his shoulders for Wasteland as the audience could be seen coming unglued as it appeared that we would be crowning new Tag Team Champions. Barrett planted DiBiase with Wasteland, but turned around and was struck with a Clothesline from Mark Henry! The entire arena was in shock as the official called for the bell.
- Mark Henry, who we haven't seen since WrestleMania XXVIII, stared down at Barrett as the announcement was made that Jericho and Barrett were the winners via disqualification, but the titles remain with Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig. Brad Maddox had a wide grin at ringside as Ric Flair looked as if he had seen a ghost. Henry picked up Barrett, but Jericho soon attempted a Crossbody. He was caught by Henry, who planted him with a thunderous World's Strongest Slam. Jericho was motionless on the canvas, his body broken in half. Henry then picked up Barrett, giving him the same fate. The World's Strongest Man stood tall over Barrett and Jericho as Maddox joined him the ring, standing side by side with the 5th member of Team Maddox, Mark Henry.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Wrestling Royalty, Wade Barrett, Mark Henry)
- Returning to RAW, a recap of the previous match was shown as Mark Henry made his shocking return to the WWE as the 5th and final member of Team Maddox, laying out both Chris Jericho and Wade Barrett.
- AJ LEE AND NATALYA DEF. THE BELLA TWINS: A decent tag team Divas bout here as both AJ and Natalya were looking to pick up some momentum heading into the Fatal Four Way match at SummerSlam. And they were successful as AJ delivered a Shining Wizard to Nikki Bella to pick up the victory.
- The audience popped as AJ and Natalya had their arms raised in victory, but did not celebrate their victory. Instead, the two Divas stared at one another, knowing that at SummerSlam, they will be opponents for the Divas Championship. Cameras cut to the backstage area where Divas Champion Eve was shown watching from a TV monitor. She was soon approached by Kaitlyn, who told her not to worry about AJ or Natalya. "Worry about me, the one who will become Divas Champion at SummerSlam," said Kaitlyn. Eve claimed that she isn't afraid of Kaitlyn, or any Diva for that matter. "And that's where you're wrong. Don't think that just because you and I have teamed up before against AJ and Natalya, that means we're suddenly best friends. You can't beat me, and if you're up for it, I'll prove that on SmackDown." Eve accepted Kaitlyn's challenge as the two heel Divas stared off, while the two face Divas did the same in the arena.
- Cutting to another camera, CM Punk was shown in the locker room area when he was approached by John Laurinaitis. "I just wanted to wish you luck at SummerSlam against Dolph Ziggler. That is, if he can defeat John Cena tonight," said Laurinaitis. Punk told him luck is for losers, so he may need it himself. "Johnny, let me ask you this. How does it feel to wake up every morning and know that at Extreme Rules, I deprived your of your job? How does it feel to know that in what you thought was going to be your crowning moment, I made you my bitch?" Laurinaitis stared at Punk while fuming, saying that there isn't a day that goes by when revenge isn't on his mind. "And soon enough, you'll realize that," said Laurinaitis before leaving, Punk not phased by Johnny's threat.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Dolph Ziggler defends the WWE Championship against John Cena just two weeks before SummerSlam!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Mark Henry, AJ Lee, Eve, Kaitlyn)
- Returning to RAW, Josh Mathews was shown backstage standing by with the United States Champion, Christian. Mathews asked Christian for his thoughts on his upcoming Champion vs. Champion match this Friday on SmackDown against the Intercontinental Champion, Antonio Cesaro? Christian stated that Cesaro has impressed him greatly since his debut, and he could very well be the best champion in the WWE today. "But I know I can beat him. I know I have what it takes. And this Friday, I will beat Antonio Cesaro." Christian was soon interrupted by the arrival of Evan Bourne. Bourne told Christian he hasn't forgotten about what he and his buddy, Edge, did to him on RAW 1000. "You embarrassed me on the biggest episode of RAW in history. And I'm not going away, Christian. I'll always be that nagging bug on your shoulder, and I want another shot at the United States Championship." Christian told Bourne that he probably wouldn't be able to meet his demands since he's initiating a new rule. "You must be this tall to become United States Champion," said Christian, much to the dismay of Bourne.
- BRODUS CLAY W/ BRAY WYATT DEF. SANTINO MARELLA W/ DERRICK BATEMAN: Santino was looking to avenge his tag team partner's loss from last week against the "First Child of Wyatt," Brodus Clay. Santino was unsuccessful as Brodus was able to deliver a Running Splash to get the win.
- Brodus Clay stood to his feet following the match, picking up Santino as Bray Wyatt shouted at him to "finish the job." Derrick Bateman intervened, stepping into the ring and standing up to Brodus. Bateman entered a ninja-like fighting stance, shouting "Let's go!" at Brodus. Bray Wyatt came up behind Bateman, locking him in a Sleeper Hold. As Bateman faded out of consciousness, Wyatt recited "Twinkle Twinkle" to him in a very eerie voice. He then gently placed the now-motionless Bateman on the canvas, allowing Brodus to hit him with a Splash. Wyatt and Brodus stood tall over the carnage they created before leaving up the entrance ramp.
- Backstage, John Cena was shown making his way down to the ring for his WWE Championship match against Dolph Ziggler. Suddenly, he was stopped by John Laurinaitis. "I just wanted to wish you luck tonight against Dolph Ziggler, and at SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar," said Laurinaitis as he extended his hand. Cena told Laurinaitis that he almost costed him his career. "A decade's worth of work was nearly thrown away because of you. And you're asking for to shake your hand?" asked Cena. Laurinaitis told Cena that he's just trying to bet he bigger man, considering that he did cost him his job at Extreme Rules. "The reality, John, is that I hate your guts, and there isn't a day that goes by where revenge isn't on my mind. And soon enough, you'll realize that," said Laurinaitis. "And by the way, I just got a call from Mr. McMahon. And he said that after what he saw last week between you and Brock Lesnar, he doesn't feel comfortable sanctioning your match at SummerSlam." Cena said that he doesn't care if the match is sanctioned or not. "This match is going to happen at SummerSlam, whether the WWE wants it to or not. I don't need this company to be held responsible for what happens anyways. I can look after myself," said Cena before leaving the scene. He meets Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Bray Wyatt, Brodus Clay, John Laurinaitis)
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live Sunday August 19th, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to RAW, a graphic was shown to announce that Brock Lesnar will be here live next week in Dallas. And with the announcement now that his match with John Cena at SummerSlam will not be sanctioned by the WWE, one can only imagine what will happen just six days before.
- WWE CHAMPIONSHIP - DOLPH ZIGGLER DEF. JOHN CENA: An incredible WWE Championship match to end tonight's explosive edition of RAW. Very similar to all of their previous encounters throughout the Summer with tons of near falls and high drama. Ziggler attempted a Zig Zag, but Cena managed to hold onto the ropes. Ziggler bounced back off of the canvas and charged towards Cena, but was lifted into position for an Attitude Adjustment. However, the theme of Brock Lesnar hit as Cena immediately turned his attention to the stage. He waited for the arrival of Lesnar, but the "Next Big Thing" never showed. The music soon stopped as Cena turned around, only to be hit with a Superkick from Ziggler. He quickly covered Cena to get the victory.
- Ziggler rolled out of the ring as he was handed back his WWE Championship, clutching it to his chest. Cena regained his consciousness, unsure of exactly what had happened. Ziggler slowly backed up the entrance ramp, but was unaware that CM Punk made his way into the arena. The "Show Off" never saw it coming as Punk grabbed him from behind, tossing him back into the ring. Ziggler then found himself cornered by both Punk and Cena. He tried to charge at Punk, but was hoisted into position for a Go To Sleep. Punk hit it, but Ziggler remained on his feet. Cena then took Ziggler and planted him with the Attitude Adjustment. Punk and Cena watched as Ziggler rolled out of the ring, motionless from the two finishing maneuvers. Punk then grabbed the WWE Championship, but so did Cena. The two slowly picked up the title together, each holding one end of the strap while staring intensively at the other, an image that we could see once again one day with Punk and Cena showing their intentions of becoming WWE Champion. Punk's opportunity comes at SummerSlam, while Cena has a date with Brock Lesnar in a match that we just learned will not be sanctioned by the WWE!

Good epsidoe of Raw as usual. The Tag Title match was good, and the DQ ending wasn't unexpected since you didn't want to job both men. Didn't see Mark Henry interfering, or even being Maddox's 5th man, but he should be an intriguing addition to the match. I really hope you're not planning som sort of swerve to help Maddox win. I'll say it right now: I don't want Maddox's team to win because we don't need yet another heel authority figure. So Cena's match with Lesnar is unsanctioned? I know I'm inrtigued to see these two guys tear into each other. You've got a very good SummerSlam card put together, it's a shame we have to go through another five shows before we finally get to it. All in all you're doing a great job, HR, keep it up!

Wow Mark Henry is the 5th man for Team Maddox, what an addition for Team Maddox with the World's Strongest Man because now the Hall of Pain is back and the Hall of Pain is re-opened for business
Yes I don't want Brad Maddox's team to win either because yes like he said we don't need another heel authority figure
What a choice for Cena's match with Lesnar at SummerSlam to be an Unsanctioned Match, because if it is Unsanctioned this means there no rules no limitations nothing which means these 2 could tear each other apart in a fight to the finish which calls for the brutality and I for one am going to love it
Bourne wants another shot at the WWE United States Championship but Christian the WWE United States Champion tells Bourne that as far as he's concerned he's done with Bourne especially after beating him at TLC in a Ladder Match and that he has already proven to the world that he can beat Bourne, but I see these 2 going at it again at SummerSlam for the WWE United States Championship
Roman Reigns is just impressive, especially for a 2nd generation superstar the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sika of the Wild Samoans of the Anoa'i family, Reigns is following in the footsteps of so many Anoa'i family members before him just winning match after match ever since bursting on to the scene and I feel big things are in store for Reigns as the years progress and he beats a former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion in Sheamus and with a Spear too, Reigns' Spear is just so awesome
Dolph Ziggler beating John Cena to retain his WWE Championship all be it off of a distraction by Lesnar's music playing and John Cena's focus being taken off and Dolph just capitalizing by hitting a Superkick on Cena, I love Dolph's new finisher the Superkick, a trademark move set by WWE Hall of Famer the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels but then Punk comes in after Ziggler wins his match and tosses him right back in there with Cena as Punk hits the GTS on Ziggler and then Cena hitting an Attitude Adjustment on Ziggler was great
What was even better was Cena and Punk going to grab the WWE Championship with both men grabbing both ends of it and both men just staring at each other immensely, I love it because that means we are in store for a Cena/Punk feud down the road for the WWE Championship if it factors in
Brock Lesnar is going to be at RAW next week, I wonder what The Next Big Thing the Beast will do, if he will come to RAW again to confront Cena or if there is going to be a contract signing between him and Cena for their match at SummerSlam
Can't wait until Smackdown because it will be a tag team match with the World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton teaming up with Sin Cara to take on the team of Cody Rhodes teaming up with his older brother Dustin Runnels in the main event, can't wait for that because this will be Goldust's first match-up as Dustin, so I am all for that
Brodus Clay has just been unstoppable since becoming a "Child of Bray Wyatt" just going on a tear winning match after match destroying his opponents ever since aligning himself with Bray Wyatt by beating Santino in dominating fashion and then when Bateman tries to stand up to Clay, he gets attacked for his trouble and then Wyatt after sings eerily to Bateman which I found creepy and just scary because who could stop these 2 or at the very least put an end to their madness? I wonder if Bray Wyatt will turn Derrick Bateman into his "Second Child" because if he does, then Bray will just continue to get stronger and stronger forming his "Church" if you know what I mean
Swagger beating Gabriel is great because now Swagger is on a roll, he is on a tear definitely a new and improved Jack Swagger and hopefully he could have Zeb Coulter with him and Zeb as his manager Swagger will be considered main event material as in future WWE Championship material, WE THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!
Barrett and Jericho winning their tag team match against Wrestling Royalty (DiBiase & Hennig) all be it by DQ since the titles can't change hands on a disqualification, DiBiase and Hennig get lucky yet again in retaining their titles but sooner or later one of these days their luck is going to run out and only because Henry got involved as Henry lays waste to everything just planting both Jericho and Barrett both with World's Strongest Slams, I just want to see Henry just start yelling and talking trash because he is just so great at it!!!!!!!
R-Truth is just nuts thinking he is going to get to Hawkins and Reks saying how they are going to get got, but newsflash Lil'Jimmy is not real, he's an invisible person, air, this man just needs to be locked away in a psych ward, I mean where are the men with the white coats for R-Truth
Eve vs Kaitlyn hopefully set up for Smackdown in a heel vs heel diva contest, I would love it because they are both heels and both of them want to be WWE Divas Champion, so this match will just go to show just who is better because Eve represents the present with Kaitlyn representing the future
As for AJ vs Natalya, if that is also set up, in a face vs face diva contest, then in a way it is fitting because AJ wasn't she Natalya's rookie on NXT when it was an all-diva season? Or wasn't AJ Natalya's protege with Natalya being her mentor, so for them to go at it, it would be great
Big Johnny, like I honestly thought we were done with him, like what is he even doing here on RAW, he was fired wasn't he, he has no business being here at all if you ask me

THEN. NOW. FOREVER. - Following the signature WWE intro, we cut directly to the Full Sail Arena. "Ladies and gentlemen....Damien Sandow," said Tony Dawson as the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" was shown standing in the center of the ring, the audience bombarding him with boos. Sandow asked for silence from those in attendance, which caused an even louder negative reaction to break out. "Silence!" he shouted before continuing on. "Weeks ago here on NXT, you all had the unfortunate duty of witnessing your savior and martyr wrongfully be forced to defend the coveted NXT Championship. And because of said occurrence, I am no longer the NXT Champion," said Sandow to a huge pop from the Full Sail audience. "Instead of me bringing salvation to his merely mediocre organization and institution, you all have no alternative by to suffer through the reign of an undeserving and unqualified champion, Seth Rollins." After the audience popped for the mention of Rollins, Sandow lashed out at them. "Sophomoric humor, you all appear to have. You all would rather see a man like Seth Rollins represent NXT as opposed to myself? Rollins embodies the imprudence within the WWE. The man failed to choose between two entirely different hair tones, and ultimately decided to mesh the two and display himself and a complete and utter ignoramus. And you all are proud to refer to him as your reigning NXT Champion?" Before Sandow could continue to berate Rollins, the theme of NXT Champion hit as made his way out to a great ovation. Rollins stepped into the ring, telling Sandow that can talk, and talk, and talk all he wants, but the fact of the matter is that when it comes down to it, he can't beat him. "Let me remind you of something, Sandow. You've never pinned me. And until you have my shoulders down on this mat for a three count, you haven't proven anything." Sandow told Rollins that if he needs any assurance on his qualifications to represent NXT as its champion, then he'll be more than glad to do so. "Two weeks from tonight, on a special live edition of NXT I will be invoking my rematch clause. And I, Damien Sandow, vow to prove every single one of your brain cells wrong when I defeat you once and for all to reclaim my coveted NXT Championship." Rollins told Sandow that he'll see him in two weeks. Before the champion left, he informed Sandow of something else. "Actually, we may not have to wait two weeks...." said Rollins before heading up the entrance ramp, leaving Sandow in a state of confusion.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the break, the commentary unit of Byron Saxton and William Regal properly welcomed everyone to NXT on ION Television. And as we just found out moments ago, the rematch between Seth Rollins and Damien Sandow for the NXT Championship is official for the second live edition of NXT in two weeks. Prior to leaving, Rollins cryptically told Sandow that they won't have to wait two weeks to get in the ring with another. Saxton said that he was informed during the commercial break exactly what Rollins was talking about. In tonight's main event, Damien Sandow will team up with Trent Barreta to take on Seth Rollins and Richie Steamboat. The two men who compete for the NXT Championship and the two finalists in the Elimination Chase all compete in a huge tag team match, tonight.
- ADRIAN NEVILLE DEF. JTG: A very good encounter here to kick off NXT. More chants for Big E Langston were thrown towards JTG, further irritating the self proclaimed "Mr. NXT." Things didn't get any better for JTG as he crashed to the canvas after a failed Superplex attempt, allowing Neville to hit a Corkscrew Shooting Star Press to capture the victory.
- The audience popped as Neville stood to his feet, celebrating a big victory over a main roster talent such as JTG. William Regal seemed exceptionally proud, noting that it's great to see a fellow Englishman rising up the ranks here in the WWE.
- Backstage, Richie Steamboat was shown in the locker room area, getting ready for tonight's tag team main event. Soon, NXT Champion Seth Rollins walked into the room. He and Richie greeted one another, the mutual respect quite evident. Rollins said that tonight shouldn't be a problem for the two of them. "I know I can beat Sandow, and I'm sure you can beat Trent. Actually, I know you'll beat Trent in the Elimination Chase finals in two weeks." Richie thanked Rollins, saying that all he's focused on right now is becoming the next NXT Champion. "Just know, Richie, that when you and I do square off for this title, you're going to have to pry the championship out of my hands. I've fought my entire life to be recognized. And now that my hard work has paid off, I don't plan on letting go of this anytime soon." Richie told Rollins that he expects nothing less from him when the two do meet for the NXT Championship at some point in the future.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo for this Friday's edition of SmackDown was shown. After the events of last week, brothers unite in the ring as Cody Rhodes and Dustin Runnels take on the team of Sin Cara and the World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton. Plus, will either Daniel Bryan or Dean Ambrose seek revenge on one another as well as the Olympic gold medalist, Kurt Angle? Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- Returning to NXT on ION Television, JTG was shown walking in the backstage area after failing to defeat Adrian Neville. Briley Pierce tried to catch up with the self-proclaimed "Mr. NXT," but he was instantly shot down. "Let me guess. You're gonna ask me why I lost to some hobbit-looking freak out there?! Huh?! Ain't that it?!" shouted JTG. Briley informed JTG that he was just told via Twitter that next week, Big E Langston plans on purchasing a ticket to NXT. JTG became infuriated, saying that he never wants to see Big E Langston ever again. "I'm damn sick of hearing all of these haters shouting 'We want Big E!' We want Big E!' Well congratulations, haters. Y'all are getting Big E now. But y'all ain't getting me next week," said JTG before leaving.
- Cutting to the arena in Full Sail University, the updated standings for the "Queen of NXT Cup" was shown, which continued this past weekend at NXT live events. The standings currently are as follows...
1) Sofia Cortez (3-0) 2) Skyler Moon (2-1) 2) Raquel Diaz (2-1) 2) Paige (2-1) 5) Sasha Banks (1-2) 5) Audrey Marie (1-2) 7) Emma (0-3)
- PAIGE (3-1) AND SKYLER MOON (3-1) DEF. AUDREY MARIE (1-3) AND EMMA (0-4): As the "Queen of NXT Cup" rolls on, we saw a very solid tag team bout here. In the end, Paige was able to plant Emma with RamPaige to pick up the victory for she and Skyler.
- Paige stood to her feet as the bell sounded, the arms of she and Skyler Moon being raised in victory. Skyler left the ring, but not without locking eyes with Paige as both Divas are determined come out on top in the Cup. The updated standings were shown as both Paige and Skyler have now improved to 3-1, still tied for second place. Raquel Diaz is now bumped down to the fourth seed, while Audrey and Emma still sit at sixth and seventh place respectively.
- Quickly cutting backstage, several officials were shown near the interview set, appearing to be breaking up a scuffle. We then saw Kassius Ohno being pulled by the officials as he stomped away on Oliver Grey, the man who upset him last week. William Regal left the announce table, quickly heading over the scene to check on Grey.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. NXT Champion Seth Rollins and Richie Steamboat take on Damien Sandow and Trent Barreta in a huge tag team match.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to NXT, Paige was shown walking in the backstage area as Briley Pierce approached her, asking for her thoughts on moving up to second place in the "Queen of NXT Cup." Paige said that until she's number one, she isn't satisfied. "I couldn't care less about some tiara. The reason I want to win this Cup is to prove my superiority over the rest of the NXT Divas." Suddenly, Paige was confronted by Sofia Cortez, who currently sits at number one in the standings. "Sorry to break it to you, Paige, but I guess you're never going to be satisfied. Because I'm number one right now, and it's going to stay that way from until the end of this Cup. Whether you finish at two, three, or seven, you'll always be below me." Sofia then left the interview, leaving Paige infuriated and focused on overtaking her in the rankings.
- Returning to the Full Sail Arena, Tony Dawson made a very special, surprise introduction. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back to NXT....Bo Rotundo!" The audience popped for the arrival of Bo, who has been sidelined with an injury for quite some time now. He made his way down to the ring with crutches, being assisted in by Dawson. Bo grabbed a microphone, allowing the audience to express their delight to see the young star once again before speaking. He said that it's hard to explain how he feels right now. "There's nothing that I love more than coming out here and competing in front of all of you. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do that for quite some time now." Bo explained that a little over a month ago, he injured his leg at a live event. "And the next week, the Elimination Chase began. It was an incredibly tough break for me as I really believe that had I been healthy, I would have participated in the Elimination Chase. And honestly, I think I would have had a shot at winning and becoming one step closer to the being the next NXT Champion. But that's not gonna stop me. When I come back, I'm gonna be tougher, stronger, faster, and better than ever. And mark my words, WWE Universe. I will one day be the NXT Champion." The audience applauded Bo once again, however, the mood changed as the theme of Corey Graves and Jake Carter hit. The two made their way down, the circling Bo. Graves told him that there's one piece of information that he's keeping hidden from the rest of the world. "Why don't you tell everyone exactly how you injured your leg, Bo?" asked Corey. "If you're not going to, then I will we. The last time you had full control of your leg, I made you submit to the 13th Step in this ring," said Graves. Carter told Bo that everyone may think that he got the better of the two of them in their Bunkhouse Brawl a few months back, but that's not exactly true. "The reason you're out here on crutches, the reason you weren't in the Elimination Chase, and the reason that you're half a man is because of Graves and I. It's okay, Bo. There's no shame in admitting that you fell victim to the hottest tag team in professional wrestling today," said Carter. As Carter had his attention, Graves struck Bo from the back of his injured leg. Bo immediately went down, clutching his leg in pain as Graves locked in the 13th Step. Bo screamed in agonizing pain as Graves had the lock in tight, Carter standing over Bo while taunting him. Several officials hit the ring to restrain Graves and Carter, eventually doing so as they tended to the injured Bo.
- Backstage, Damien Sandow was shown walking towards the ring when Trent Barreta, who was eating a bag of chips, met up with him. "'Sup, dude?" asked Barreta. "....what on earth are you consuming?" asked Sandow. Barreta showed his bag of chips, which Sandow confiscated from him. "High in calories, high in sodium. You and I are about to go compete, and you have the audacity digest such garbage?" asked Sandow. "Dude, don't worry about what I'm eating. Worry about the fact that after I beat Richie Steamboat and become the No. 1 contender to the NXT Championship, I may end up taking it from you. Or Rollins. It doesn't really mater to me at all which dude I bust." Sandow told Barreta that he not only eats irresponsibly, but he speaks without any sense of sanity. "If you are to be victorious in the Elimination Chase, then there is no probability whatsoever of you defeating me and claiming the NXT Championship, a title that should only be held by superstars of the highest magnitude. And I fail to locate any felicitous qualifications within yourself, young cretin," said Sandow. "What?" asked Barreta, thrown off by the exceptional lexicon of Sandow. "You're welcome," he responded before continuing on. The tag team main event is next on NXT!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live Sunday August 19th, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to WWE NXT, William Regal was shown re-joining Byron Saxton at the announce table. Regal said that Oliver Grey was banged up a tad bit, but he's a fighter and will be okay. "And I have a mind to go up to Kassius Ohno myself and teach him some proper manners," said Regal. Byron then informed the viewers at home of an announcement made by General Manager Ricardo Rodriguez for next week. After the confrontation we saw saw earlier tonight, Paige and Sofia Cortez will go one on one.
- NXT CHAMPION SETH ROLLINS AND RICHIE STEAMBOAT DEF. DAMIEN SANDOW AND TRENT BARRETA: A very good tag team bout here to close out NXT tonight. The team of Seth Rollins and Richie Steamboat were able to coexist very well, while Damien Sandow and Trent Barreta were the polar opposite. With the NXT Championship match and Elimination Chase finals coming up in two weeks on NXT Live, a victory here was a must for momentum. In the end, Richie hit Barreta with a Flying Crossbody to pick up the victory.
- The audience popped as Richie and Rollins celebrated their victory, their arms raised high by the official. Sandow made his way up the entrance ramp, looking back at Rollins as he raised the NXT Championship high in the air. Rollins and Sandow meet one more time for the NXT Championship, and the Elimination Chase final between Richie Steamboat and Trent Barreta take place on a special live edition of NXT in two weeks right here on ION Television.

THEN. NOW. FOREVER. - Following a new intro, pyro blasted from the stage as shots of the Houston audience were shown. The commentary trio of Michael Cole, Josh Mathews, and Booker T welcomed everyont to Friday Night SmackDown as we are now just nine nights away from SummerSlam. And tonight, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle will be allowed to choose who he meets in his return to pay-per-view on August 19th. Two contracts will be presented to him, one with Daniel Bryan's name on it, and the other with Dean Ambrose's. Who will Angle choose to face? Plus, a huge tag team main event is in store as Cody Rhodes and Dustin Runnels team up to take on Sin Cara and the World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton. But first, we kick off SmackDown with a champion vs. champion match!
- UNITED STATES CHAMPION CHRISTIAN DEF. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION ANTONIO CESARO VIA DQ: A stellar champion vs. champion to kick things off here on SmackDown. With both Christian and Cesaro coming off of victories over Evan Bourne and Alberto Del Rio respectively, a victory here would keep the momentum rolling for either champion. As Christian was getting ready to strike Cesaro with a Spear, Evan Bourne ran down to ringside. He grabbed Christian's leg from under the bottom rope, forcing the official to call for the bell.
- Bourne kept a hold on Christian's leg as Cesaro went after Captain Charisma, striking him with several Forearms in the corner. Bourne slid into the ring as both he and Cesaro delivered kicks to Christian's mid section. The two had control over the United States Champion until Alberto Del Rio ran down to make the save. He delivered shots to both Cesaro and Bourne, eventually Clotheslining the two of them over the top rope. Cesaro grabbed his Intercontinental Championship as he and Bourne made their way up the entrance ramp, Del Rio and Christian standing tall in the ring as they taunted their rivals.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, Cody Rhodes and Dustin Runnels were shown in the locker room area as they discussed strategy for tonight's tag team main event. Matt Striker soon walked into the room, asking for the brothers' thoughts on their match tonight. Cody said that Randy Orton and Sin Cara may have a misconception about Dustin. "They may assume that my brother is old and worn down, but I'll have you know that Dustin is as good as he's ever been. If Orton and Cara believe that they're just gonna run right through Dustin and myself, then they have another thing coming. Just like how Orton has another thing coming if he believes that he's going to walk out of SummerSlam as the World Heavyweight Champion. SummerSlam is my time. SmackDown is my show. And the World Heavyweight Championship is my crowning achievement."
- KANE DEF. THE GREAT KHALI: Nine days before he steps inside of a Steel Cage with the undefeated Ryback, Kane had another monster in front of him tonight. After taking Khali down with a DDT, Kane managed to plant him with a Chokeslam to get the victory.
- Kane stood to his feet following the closing bell, standing tall over the Great Khali. As the Big Red Monster was about to perform his signature taunt, "Feed me!" rang throughout the arena as the audience erupted. Ryback made his way out to the stage, marching down to the ring with Kane in his sights. However, the Big Red Monster left the ring, not wanting any of Ryback for the time being as he feels that he already got his revenge last week. Ryback stood in the ring as Kane made his way up the entrance ramp, laughing sadistically. Still, Ryback was looking to send a message to Kane. As Khali was stirring to his feet, Ryback got a hold of him. "There's no way," stated Michael Cole, knowing what Ryback was going for. Suddenly, Ryback lifted Khali up into the air! Ryback planted the 7-foot giant with Shell Shocked in the center of the ring! The audience roared as Kane didn't seem to be phased by the incredible feat of strength. Ryback stared at Kane, shouting "Feed me more!" after sending a huge message for their Steel Cage match at SummerSlam.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's tag team main event. World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Sin Cara take on the re-united brothers, Cody Rhodes and Dustin Runnels.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Friday Night SmackDown, a recap of the previous segment was shown that featured Ryback's unbelievable Shell Shocked onto the Great Khali. The commentary trio put over the feat of strength, calling it one of the most amazing things we've ever witnessed on SmackDown. And after that, Ryback has not only redeemed himself, but there is no telling what he is capable of doing to Kane inside of a Steel Cage at SummerSlam.
- R-TRUTH DEF. CURT HAWKINS W/ TYLER REKS: A very solid bout here as Truth was looking for revenge against the duo of Hawkins and Reks for "kidnapping" Little Jimmy a few weeks back. Reks tried to distract the official, but Truth took him down with a hard right hand shot. Hawkins then rolled up Truth from behind, but he managed to roll out of it and hit Hawkins with an Axe Kick to get the victory.
- The audience popped for R-Truth as he stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. He wasn't given much time to celebrate, however, as Tyler Reks attacked him from behind. Hawkins soon joined in on the attack as the two laid out Truth. The fiendish duo left the ring and up the entrance ramp as Truth grabbed a microphone. "Alright. I see how it is. You two want to fight, then I'll fight," said Truth as he got the attention of Hawkins and Reks. "Next week, in a tag team match, it'll be you two against myself.......and Lil' Jimmy!" Hawkins and Reks were both dumbfounded as they have been challenged to a tag team match in which one of their opponents is an imaginary child. "And believe me. You two are gon' get got! Ain't that right Lil' Jimmy?" asked Truth to the thin air by his side.
- Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was shown making his way down to the ring with two contracts in his hand. One contract is for a match with Daniel Bryan, and the other is for a match with Dean Ambrose. Kurt Angle will choose between the two contracts for SummerSlam, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for next Monday's RAW. In a special 3-hour edition, all members from Team Flair and Team Maddox will be in singles action against a member of the opposing team. Plus, John Cena and Brock Lesnar will sign liability waivers for their Unsanctioned Match at SummerSlam. RAW, live next Monday on USA.
- Returning to SmackDown, the ring was shown set up for the contract signing in which Kurt Angle will choose his opponent for SummerSlam next Sunday. Teddy Long asked for Angle to make his way down to the ring so he can decide the fate of either Daniel Bryan or Dean Ambrose. As Teddy waited patiently in the ring for the arrival of Angle, the theme of Daniel Bryan hit. He made his way out to the stage, the audience bombarding him with "Yes!" chants. He responded with "No!" chants, making his way down to the ring. Bryan grabbed a microphone, telling the audience that they have no business chanting "Yes!" "That is my catchphrase, not yours!" he shouted, which only caused more chants to ensue. Bryan repeatedly shouted "No!" as Teddy interrupted him, asking why he was out here. Bryan said that he just wanted to remind Kurt Angle of a few things before he makes his decision. "Kurt, there is no reason for you to choose to face me at SummerSlam. I've never done anything wrong to you. Dean Ambrose, on the other hand, showed you the utmost disrespect last week when he spit in your face. And I know that if I were you, I wouldn't let that slide. And if you make the right decision, I promise to forget about our little incident last week," said Bryan.
- Bryan waited in the ring now for Kurt Angle to make his entrance, but he didn't get the Olympic Gold Medalist. Instead, the theme of Dean Ambrose hit. The audience popped for the arrival of Ambrose as he made his way down to the ring. He told Bryan that there isn't a single person in existence that he's fooling. "I can see it, the people in attendance can see it. Those watching at home can see it. And most of all, Kurt Angle can see it. You're a coward. You fear Angle. And you would like for nothing more than for him to choose to face me at SummerSlam while you can slither your way out of this picture. But you know what, Daniel? I don't care. Because I also hope that Angle chooses to face me. Because unlike you, I'm going to run and hide from him. I want Angle in this ring at SummerSlam. I want to stand across the ring from one of the greatest wrestlers in history, and show Kurt and the rest of the world that my name will be remembered in the same manner." Bryan told Ambrose that he's glad he sees things his way, but he has the wrong idea. Bryan claimed that he's not a coward, to which Ambrose responded with "Yes, you are." No," said Bryan as Ambrose stated "Yes." The two went back and forth with the audience on Ambrose's side. The bickering continued until the theme of Kurt Angle hit to a massive pop from the Houston crowd. Angle made his way down to the ring, meeting both Bryan and Ambrose face to face. He stared down at both contracts, the power now in his hands to choose who he takes on at SummerSlam. "Do the right thing," said Bryan towards Angle as Ambrose stared intensively at the Olympic Gold Medalist. After a few seconds of contemplation, Angle picked up the pen and signed Ambrose's contract. Angle lifted his head up as he and Ambrose stared at one another, their match now official for SummerSlam. Bryan repeatedly shouted "Yes!" at the fact that he is now out of the equation. However, Angle picked up the pen once again and signed Bryan's contract. Bryan immediately stopped his chant, his eyes now wide open. "I'm not settling. At SummerSlam, I'll see the both of you in the ring and I'll kick both your a**es!" said Angle as the audience erupted. Ambrose had a smile on his face, admiring Angle's fighting nature. Bryan, on the other hand, was irate as he shouted "No!' in the faces of both Angle and Ambrose. Angle then hit Bryan with a Headbutt, causing him to fall to the canvas. As he stirred to his feet, Ambrose hit him with a Knee Trembler. Before Bryan could fall again, Angle caught him and planted him with an Angle Slam through the contract signing table! Bryan was left motionless in the ring as Angle and Ambrose stood over him, keeping their eyes locked on one another. The match is now official as three of the WWE's best in-ring competitors will compete in a Triple Threat match at SummerSlam!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, a recap of the previous segment was shown as learned that at SummerSlam, Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan, and Dean Ambrose will all compete in a Triple Threat match.
- DIVAS CHAMPION EVE DEF. KAITLYN: A decent bout here between the two heel Divas who will compete in a Fatal Four Way match at SummerSlam for the championship. After a short back and forth battle, Eve was able to plant Kaitlyn with a Neckbreaker to pick up the victory.
- The audience booed as Eve stood to her feet, being handed back her Divas Championship. She made her way up the entrance, raising the title high in the air to signify her superiority in the division. A graphic was then shown for a Divas bout set for next Monday's 3-hour edition of RAW, pitting AJ Lee against Natalya.
- Backstage, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, and Zack Ryder were all shown in the locker room area. Sheamus said that after what happened on RAW to Wade Barrett and Chris Jericho, Brad Maddox may think that they're afraid of what's to come at SummerSlam. "But the fact is that Mark Henry being in the mix doesn't change a thing. Maddox and the rest of his team are the ones that should be afraid. Because Wade, Jericho, and the three of us will be victorious and we will put Ric Flair back where he belongs as the RAW General Manager." Kofi and Ryder both agreed with Sheamus as they began making their way out of the room. Suddenly, Ryder stopped and put his fist out. After Kofi asked what he was doing, Ryder asked for a "Triple Bro Fist." "Come on, Ryder. It's time to get serious and focus on SummerSlam," stated Sheamus. "I am focused. Team Flair on 3," said Ryder. Both Sheamus and Kofi hesitantly put their fists in, going along with whatever Ryder was trying to accomplish. "1...2..3...Team Flair!" shouted Ryder, noticing that neither Kofi or Sheamus said it along with him. Nonetheless, the three continued on as they compete in a Six Man Tag match, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, more footage from "Behind the Music" with 3MB was shown. Cameras walked into a studio where we could see Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal talking, while Drew McIntyre was tuning a bass guitar. When he saw the camera, Slater immediately tried to get them out. "Hey, man. You can't just barge in on 3MB. We're hard musicians at work, and we need peace to put perfection into melodies," he said. As Slater was pushing the camera crew out of the studio, he stated that next week on SmackDown, the world will finally have the honor of witnessing the world premier of 3MB.
- SHEAMUS, ZACK RYDER, AND KOFI KINGSTON DEF. HUNICO, PRIMO, AND EPICO: After what occurred this pas Monday between Wade Barrett, Chris Jericho, Wrestling Royalty, and Mark Henry, the other three members of Team Flair were looking to gain a bit of momentum while working together as a cohesive. The reunion of the former WWE Tag Team Champions trio was spoiled as they were hit with Trouble In Paradise, a Rough Ryder, and Brogue Kick simultaneously to give Team Flair the victory.
- The audience popped as Sheamus, Ryder, and Kofi all raised one another's arms in victory. Combing this victory with Jericho and Barrett's unison on Monday, it's quite clear that Team Flair are more than capable of working as a cohesive unit, but can they overcome The Miz, Roman Reigns, Wrestling Royalty, and Mark Henry at SummerSlam?
- Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Sin Cara were shown making their way down to the ring. They meet Cody Rhodes and Dustin Runnels, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live in 9 days, only on pay-per-view.
- WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RANDY ORTON AND SIN CARA DEF. CODY RHODES AND DUSTIN RUNNELS: A very solid tag team bout here to close out tonight's edition of SmackDown. Finally, Orton and Cody were able to get their hands on one another, nine nights before they compete for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. Despite being dresses in a shirt and jeans, Dustin was able to hold his own against both Orton and Sin Cara. After Orton knocked Cody off of the ring apron, Sin Cara leaped off of the top rope and caught Dustin with a Hurricarana. Dustin then went flying towards Orton, who planted him with an RKO to secure the victory.
- The audience erupted as Orton and Cara were announced as the victors, the two having their arms raised by the official. Orton was handed back his World Heavyweight Championship as he raised it high in the air, but then noticed something. Across the ring from him, Dustin was on his hands and knees trying to catch his breathe. Orton's eyes lit up as he saw the perfect opportunity to strike. The World Heavyweight Champion then attempted to Punt Dustin in the skull, but Cody managed to pull his brother out of the ring in the nick of time. The audience booed as Cody assisted Dustin up the entrance ramp, Orton looking on at the two brothers with his cold and calculating eyes. He then raised the World Heavyweight Championship, reminding Cody what it's all about come nine nights at SummerSlam.

Smackdown Review
One of the most impressive things I have ever seen in my life, Ryback delivering Shell Shocked to The Great Khali, what an impressive feat of strength with Kane leaving the ring before Ryback could get to him just goes to show you that Ryback is ready for SummerSlam and that he is ready to face Kane in a Steel Cage while Kane he doesn't seem to appear phased at all but instead is laughing, that is what made the segment great
But I loved the champion vs champion match too with the WWE United States Champion Christian of RAW facing the WWE Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro of Smackdown and it ending in a DQ victory for Christian, just goes to show you that the US Champion is better than the IC Champion but at the same time Evan Bourne got involved so, it just goes to show you that he wants his US Title back but also that he wants Christian again in the ring but then Del Rio making the save was great considering he and Christian at one time were rivals but now stand side by side, that was great
The sons of the American Dream Dusty Rhodes, Cody and Dustin teaming together tonight to face Orton and Sin Cara, you know the Dream he has gotta be watching this, I wonder what he thinks about his sons teaming together or knowing the both of his sons' actions as of late on Smackdown, I wouldn't be surprised if old Dusty does show up on Smackdown
Kane beating Khali gives Kane momentum heading into SummerSlam heading into his Steel Cage match with Ryback, but Kane has already lost once to Ryback back at TLC, so this match is basically the match to end all matches for these 2 monsters
R-Truth is even more crazier than I give him credit for, even after beating Hawkins, he challenges both Hawkins and Reks to a tag team match with himself and Lil' Jimmy, seriously? Lil' Jimmy is not even real, he is invisible, imaginary, it is a handicap match really when you think about it, that's why I hope Hawkins and Reks just beat the holy hell out of R-Truth and put him on the shelf for a good while because R-Truth to me has become nothing more than a glorified joke in this ring
I can't wait until RAW because of the contract signing with Lesnar/Cena for their match-up at SummerSlam but also each member of Team Flair and Team Maddox will be in action against each other
Looks like Kurt Angle will be stepping back into the ring at SummerSlam in his first match back, against both Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose in a Triple-Threat Match, will this Triple-Threat have anything up for grabs, like maybe to determine just who the new #1 Contender will be for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions? And if so, then I already know who I am picking in that match
WWE Divas Champion Eve defeats fellow heel Kaitlyn, one of her opponents at SummerSlam in that Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Divas Championship, in a good heel vs heel divas match which I loved because this puts Eve over even more as champion and gives her momentum heading into SummerSlam while AJ and Natalya are going to have to face each other on RAW which will be a great one
Some team unity there with Sheamus, Kofi and Ryder backstage huh LOL
Anyways love that Sheamus, Ryder and Kofi were able to beat Hunico, Epico and Primo in a 6-man Tag Team Match because it puts them over even more giving Team Flair momentum heading into SummerSlam where they will face Team Maddox, that match-up at SummerSlam I can't wait for because I for one want Flair to keep his job at SummerSlam as GM, I want Maddox gone and out of power, maybe you can make Maddox a valet/manager for someone that needs one instead
3MB premiere next week on Smackdown, can't wait
The main event of the evening is what I enjoyed the most with the sons of Dusty Rhodes, Cody & Dustin teaming up to face the team of the World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and Sin Cara and Orton & Cara getting the victory, but what I loved even more was that Orton was about to punt Dustin's brains out until Cody saves his brother at the last minute getting him out of the ring before Orton could punt Dustin in the skull, gives Orton momentum heading into SummerSlam and also gives Sin Cara momentum heading into his matchup at SummerSlam with Rey
Overall great Smackdown and I for one cannot wait until RAW!!!!!!!!!!!!

TWT 8/12 - 3-Hour RAW, NXT Call Ups, "PWI 500" Top 10
- As announced this past week on SmackDown, tomorrow's edition of Monday Night RAW will be a 3-hour special. Advertised at the moment are five Team Flair vs. Team Maddox singles matches, AJ Lee vs. Natalya, and John Cena and Brock Lesnar signing liability waivers for their Unsanctioned Match at SummerSlam next Sunday.
- A few weeks back, we reported that there were five NXT superstars who were on the WWE's radar. Those stars were reported to Damien Sandow, NXT Champion Seth Rollins, Kassius Ohno, Paige, and Big E Langston. At the time, we also stated that there were no plans to call up any of those names. However, it has been rumored for a while now that Sandow could be on his way to the main roster, which would explain why he suddenly dropped the NXT Championship. On top of that, there's heavy speculation that at least one more of the names listed will also be called up to the main roster sometime after SummerSlam.
- This past week, the Top 10 names on the annual "PWI 500" list were revealed to be. The official list is as follows...
1) CM Punk 2) Bobby Roode 3) John Cena 4) Wade Barrett 5) Daniel Bryan 6) Jun Akiyama 7) Davey Richards 8) Kurt Angle 9) Mark Henry 10) Dolph Ziggler
Names such as Randy Orton, Austin Aries, Kevin Steen, Cody Rhodes, and Evan Bourne were said to have barely missed the cut. The complete list will revealed on Friday, August 24th.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 30th July 2012...Ric Flair kicking things off to kick off the show was a nice move, as this promo set up the ten-man tag team match for SummerSlam. I have a feeling that Brad Maddox's team will be victorious. It's interesting to see Wade Barrett portraying a babyface role, as someone who hasn't seen Barrett work clean, it's slightly difficult to picture it. Flair's team looks solid, with Kofi Kingston, Barrett, Chris Jericho, Sheamus and Zack Ryder. I'm wondering if there will be any hints of dissension between Barrett and Ryder after their swing-and-a-miss feud last month. Is it safe to say that the brand split is pretty much over in this diary? I think so, considering Sheamus' role in this match despite being a SmackDown superstar. Maddox then recruiting Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty is cool, and hopefully the WWE Tag Team Champions get to play a big role in this match. The Miz and Roman Reigns then joining them is nice, a lot of heat on Maddox I imagine for not announcing a fifth member, which is cool. Maddox and Jericho having history is very nice, I like those little instances of long-term continuity coming into play. A solid promo, and yay, the "Trending on Twitter" footnotes return! I wondered where they went. I imagine that this opening promo will reflect on the majority of this card, which I don't mind. I like these set-ups. Wade Barrett defeating Ted Dibiase made for a decent opening contest, Barrett needed the win more if he is trying to make it as a babyface. Woo, Ryder and Barrett dissension beginning. It'd be awesome if this eventually led to Ryder turning heel. I'd enjoy this feud. I feel like this feud could get a little over-exposed in this two-hour show, though. All of the show thus far has been focused on it. AJ Lee and Natalya then defeating Eve and Kaitlyn was nice, although I would have saved AJ facing the WWE Divas Champion for an episode of RAW, personally. A set-up for the fatal four-way match at SummerSlam. Jack Swagger releasing himself from All-World Promotions? AW needs a new clientele! I have a feeling that this came with the difficulty of booking this angle, for the main part it has been a flop. And now that in real life, Swagger has an actual gimmick that seems to be catching momentum, you're following up on it. Good job. I'd love a feud with Swagger and Kofi at some point. When's Zeb Colter coming in then? CM Punk and Christian set the story's groundwork for our first-hour main event, and a decent open hour main event it was, with Punk and Christian getting the win against Dolph Ziggler and Evan Bourne. Not a single problem with that. CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler facing off at SummerSlam for the WWE Championship sounds good to me, it seems that it will be overshadowed however, by John Cena facing Brock Lesnar. And that could serve as good ammunition for CM Punk's heel turn, if he has one later on in the year. Derrick Bateman, yes! Shame that he'll be losing tonight as always. Yay, Bray Wyatt managing Brodus Clay. I wonder if Bray was on the rampway in his rocking chair for this one. Brodus with the win was expected. Who's next to join the Wyatt Family? Hopefully Bateman. Wade Barrett and Chris Jericho in the dressing room was nice, and I liked the connection that Barrett and Y2J displayed, another hint of continuity dating us back to 2010 when Barrett was Jericho's rookie on NXT. It wouldn't surprise me however, if Barrett was to turn heel one more time. Chris Jericho with a win against the Miz is nice, good call for it to end with a disqualification finish, a brawl ensuing with Team Flair and Team Maddox afterwards. I'd like to see this match again at some point in the near future, for sure. A good TV main event, though. And finally, an intense promo with Cena and Lesnar, and I'd like to see Brock try to work over that arm of Cena in the weeks before their match at SummerSlam. Great pull-apart brawl to end this dramatic episode of RAW. Overall, a solid episode of RAW, although there may have been too much time given to the Team Flair vs Team Maddox program.
WWE NXT: Wednesday 31st July 2012...A solid start to NXT this week, with a rare appearance from the WWE Champion, Dolph Ziggler. I really enjoyed the promo, and we're getting Seth Rollins against Ziggler tonight? Hmm, an interpromotional WWE Champion vs NXT Champion could make for good ratings, but could have been saved for a one-off NXT iPPV, thinking from an old-school perspective. I liked Ziggler's reasoning to dislike Rollins though. I'm looking forward to that. Trent Barreta eliminates Alex Riley! Good. Richie Steamboat against Trent Barreta could be pretty good in the ring, but it's going to be hard to convince me as to which man can be a realistic, viable threat to Seth Rollins' NXT Championship. Queen of NXT? Hmm, following in the footsteps of FCW's ruins, eh? I like that I suppose. Sofia Cortez with a win against Raquel Diaz, Audrey Marie and Paige was cool, a good showcase of the NXT divas. Woah, Oliver Grey gets a win against Kassius Ohno? Very big win, makes me a little upset honestly. Good for Grey though, his chance to shine. I would love a feud between Ohno and William Regal, hopefully it doesn't get blown off on a single episode of NXT, though. Now that deserves NXT Championship recognition. And finally, a great win for Ziggler, but it got Rollins over as a potential threat, therefore putting over the face of NXT. Hah, I liked Damien Sandow's attack after the match, setting up a rematch in an effective manner. Another good episode of NXT, you've finally found a groove. A little puzzling on the whereabouts of JTG and the "we want Big E Langston" angle, though.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 2nd August 2012...Cody Rhodes kicking off the show was good, introducing Dustin Runnels as a heel this time around. I do enjoy this angle. Good promo matched with an appearance from Randy Orton. I'm surprised that Dusty Rhodes hasn't voiced his opinion of his boys just yet. Maybe next week, maybe on an episode of NXT? That would be pretty cool. I wish I could get behind the idea of Sin Cara actually positioning into the new Rey Mysterio role on SmackDown though, he just hasn't been given the momentum for it. AJ Lee with a win against Kaitlyn and Natalya was cool, but I thought AJ was to face Eve tonight on SmackDown. At least that's what I thought I read on RAW. Eve declining the three Divas of a match at SummerSlam for the WWE Divas Championship is nice, but clearly won't be a long-term thing. Alberto Del Rio reuniting with his former manager, Ricardo Rodriguez is cool, it'll be cool to see them reunite tonight. I could see Antonio Cesaro taking a shot at the NXT General Manager. Oh jeez, the 3MB with 'Behind the Music'. This was such a bad segment when it happened on RAW. Nevermind. Impressive win for Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty against the Usos, reinforcing the fact that they are the WWE Tag Team Champions for a reason, and are a big part as we approach the ten-man tag team match at SummerSlam. Aw, McGillicutty is Joe Hennig now? Big shame, I'll miss calling him McGillicutty. Antonio Cesaro retaining the WWE Intercontinental Championship was a strange decision, but hopefully the chase could continue, I've been really enjoying this feud. Cesaro winning cleanly with Del Rio's own hold makes it hard to tell if you will continue with this rivalry. I was surprised that we didn't see any interaction with Ricardo and the evil heatseeking WWE Intercontinental Champion, though. Theodore Long making a fatal four-way match for the WWE Divas Championship was expected (I accidentally saw the graphic on the thread), good call, could make for a compelling contest indeed. Now legitimise Tamina Snuka and we have a blockbuster divas division. Ryback with a win against Hunico was expected. More of the Kane and Ryback feud is fine, so long as it ends at SummerSlam, or whenever they face next. The segment with Dibiase, Brad Maddox and Joe Hennig was designed to put over Hennig's new found identity, purposeful. Cody Rhodes and Sin Cara fought to a no contest? Huh!? Very strange circumstances indeed. Rey Mysterio aiding to Rhodes was cool, and the interaction from Randy Orton was cool as well. Strange positioning on the card however, I'd have had this just after the first-hour main event if anything. Especially with the big main event up next. Up last, Daniel Bryan getting the win against Dean Ambrose was solid, in a really big match for a SmackDown main event. I'm surprised this didn't stretch out to SummerSlam, as it rightfully should have in my mind. If this was the end of Bryan and Ambrose's rivalry, I'll be really upset. It lost a bit of steam with Kurt Angle's return, especially when Angle then proceeded to take out both men. It hurt Ambrose and Bryan. Overall, a big episode of SmackDown, I was slightly disappointed in it, though. Particularly the main event, and the first-hour title main event. Both of those matches had built fitting for a spot on the August supershow, SummerSlam. Nonetheless, yet another big week in the WWE on television.

THEN. NOW. FOREVER. - Following the intro and pyrotechnics display, the commentary trio of Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and John "Bradshaw" Layfield welcomed everyone to a special 3-hour edition of Monday Night RAW! With just six days left until SummerSlam, John Cena and Brock Lesnar will sign liability waivers for their Unsanctioned Match, freeing World Wrestling Entertainment of any responsibility for whatever may happen on Sunday. Also, several preview matches for the 5-on-5 Elimination Match between Team Flair and Team Maddox will take place. Sheamus vs. The Miz, Chris Jericho vs. Joe Hennig, Kofi Kingston vs. Ted DiBiase, Zack Ryder vs. Roman Reigns, and Wade Barrett vs. Mark Henry. All that and much more to come tonight on RAW!
- The theme of Dolph Ziggler hit as the WWE Champion made his way out into the arena. The Dallas audience were very vocal, showering the "Show Off" in boos. A graphic was shown for Ziggler's title defense coming up at SummerSlam against CM Punk in a match where a disqualification or count-out will result in a new champion being named. Ziggler stepped into the ring, grabbing a microphone as the audience continued to voice their opinion. Ziggler said that despite being the WWE Champion, he's being viewed as the underdog going into SummerSlam this Sunday. "And why exactly? I'm Dolph Ziggler. I've spent my entire career proving to the world that I am as good as I say I am, and maybe even just a tad bit better. I've proven that it's not showing off if you can back it up, and every damn night, I do just that. I back it up. And most of all, I'm your WWE Champion. So when you consider all of that, why am I still not favored?" Ziggler then stated that the reason everyone in the WWE Universe is doubting him is because of that little stipulation that's peeking over the shoulder of the match. The one that states that if he is disqualified or counted-out, then CM Punk will become the new WWE Champion. "That's why. Many delusional people believe that I can't beat Punk, even though I did just that at TLC to win this championship. And I even did it at RAW 1000 to retain it. But no, that's not good enough for the masses. They don't believe that I can either pin or submit Punk when he's at 100%. They probably thought the same last week when I was wrongfully forced to defend my championship against John Cena. Well guess what? I did it. I pinned the poster boy in the middle of this ring with no assistance whatsoever. I did it all on my own and proved each and every single one of you wrong. And if you need to be convinced any further that Dolph Ziggler is better than any single competitor in this and any other generation, I'll beat Punk on Sunday and walk out of SummerSlam with what I'm walking in with - the WWE Championship."
- Before Ziggler could be allowed to continue, the Dallas audience erupted as the theme of CM Punk blared through the sound system. Punk made his way down to the ring, grabbing a microphone as he got in Dolph's face. "Ziggler, let me make a point clear. You call me a doubter, and that's not exactly true. There's a lot of aspects about yourself that I don't doubt, and one of them is your wrestling ability. You are talented, Dolph. In fact, you're probably the most talented wrestler to ever be processed by the WWE machine. And while I just said that I don't doubt your ability to wrestle, I do doubt your ability to beat me." The audience popped as Punk continued on, telling Ziggler that he may have defeated John Cena last week, albeit with a slight bit of assistance from Brock Lesnar's entrance music. But, he still defeated Cena. "But here's another fact - I'm better than Cena. I'm better than everyone else. I'm the best in the world. And come Sunday, I'm going to become a four-time WWE Champion at your expense, Dolph." As Punk was leaving the ring, Ziggler spoke out against him. "You know, Punk. That's a lot of talk for someone who has yet to beat me, when I've beaten you twice in less than a month." Punk, who standing on the ring apron, simply smirked at Ziggler before re-entering the ring. He then hoisted Ziggler up to his shoulders, hitting him with a Go To Sleep! As the audience roared in excitement, Punk picked up his microphone. "That's a lot of talk for someone who stole the WWE Championship from me after I endured hell. That's a lot of talk for someone who got me disqualified in our rematch. And that's of talk for someone whose WWE Championship reign comes to an end on Sunday." Punk scooped up the WWE Championship, raising it high while standing over Ziggler's motionless body.
- Backstage, Ric Flair was shown in the locker room area with all five members of his team. "Guys, Sunday's the day. I've never asked for anything from any of you before, but I'm asking you for this. At SummerSlam, give me your all. Fight for me with pride and honor, and make sure that Brad Maddox never gets his hands anywhere near this show ever again. But tonight, I need you all to fight as well. Jericho, you got Hennig next. Now if Joe is anything like his father, it ain't going to be easy. But you're Y2J, and I know you can do it." Flair patted Jericho's shoulder before Y2J made his way out of the room, ready to meet one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Joe Hennig, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk, #SummerSlam)
- A promo was shown for Wednesday's edition of NXT. One week before a special live edition, the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" Damien Sandow has issued an open challenge to any member of the NXT roster. Plus, Sofia Cortez and Paige will do battle with huge implications on the first seed in the "Queen of NXT" Cup. WWE NXT, this Wednesday on ION Television.
- WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPION JOE HENNIG DEF. CHRIS JERICHO: A great encounter between Team Flair and Team Maddox members to kick off RAW. As Jericho was going for the Lionsault, Hennig managed to get his knees. With Jericho down momentarily, Hennig capitalized by planting him with the Perfect Plex to get the victory.
- Hennig stood to his feet following the match as he was handed back his WWE Tag Team Championship, many of the audience members in shock over his victory. Hennig made his way up the entrance ramp, raising the gold high in the air as he has picked up the biggest victory of his career over Y2J.
- Backstage, Brad Maddox and his SummerSlam team were shown in their locker room applauding Joe Hennig for his victory. "Now that's exactly what I want to see from each and every one of you tonight and on Sunday," said Maddox. Miz assured Maddox that he would receive only the best from his team, seeing as how he's instilled his trust in them. "And we won't let you down. This time next Monday, you won't be here in a locker room. You'll be in an office with your name forever cemented in history. Brad Maddox, RAW General Manager. And once again, all on Monday Night RAW will be awesome!"
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Chris Jericho, Joe Hennig)
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, AJ Lee was shown in the Divas locker room preparing for her match with Natalya tonight. Speaking of which, Natalya soon walked into the room. She told AJ that even though there may not be any real tension between the two of them, that doesn't mean anything for tonight or Sunday. "If I have to go through you at SummerSlam to reclaim the Divas Championship, I'm going to." AJ simply smiled at Natalya, telling her that she won't hesitate to do the same. "And I'll do it with a smile on my face," she added as she did just that, smiling at Natalya.
- JACK SWAGGER W/ ZEB COLTER DEF. TYSON KIDD: Prior to the match, Swagger was accompanied down to the ring by an older-looking man. The commentary trio quickly identified him as Zeb Colter. With Colter at his side, Swagger was able to continue to display his dominance as he put Tyson Kidd away with a Gutwrench Powerbomb.
- Following the closing bell, Swagger grabbed a microphone from ringside as Colter stepped into the ring. Swagger introduced Colter to the WWE Universe, referring to him as a "native and great American." Colter took the microphone, saying that there is nothing in the world that he loves more than America. However, as of late, it's done nothing but make him sick to his stomach. "When I look around at you people, I have to ask myself 'what in the hell went wrong with this country?' And I'll tell you what went wrong. People who don't look like me and don't talk like me are crossing our borders and stealing jobs that were meant for people like myself. And as far as I'm concerned, you people not only have no business being here, but no rights as well. And this country will be a much better place when we Americans rid our country of every last one of them and send them back to wherever they came from. And only we can stop this atrocity. We the people!" Swagger then began shouting "We the people!" as he and Colter left the ring to a ton of heat from the audience.
- A graphic was shown for the signing of the liability waivers between John Cena and Brock Lesnar for their Unsanctioned Match at SummerSlam, still to come tonight on RAW.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Jack Swagger, Zeb Colter)
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live this Sunday on pay-per-view.
- SHEAMUS DEF. THE MIZ: The captain of Team Maddox battled with Team Flair's powerhouse in a very solid first hour main event here on a special 3-hour edition of RAW. As Miz was going for the Skull Crushing Finale, Sheamus managed to roll Miz out of it. When the "Awesome One" got to his feet, he was instantly hit with a Brogue Kick, Sheamus getting the cover and the victory.
- The Dallas audience erupted for Sheamus as he stood to his feet following the match. He beat his chest before letting out a victory shout as the rest of Team Flair were shown celebrating in their locker room. The captain of Team Maddox has fallen to the Celtic Warrior, giving Team Flair a huge momentum boost heading into SummerSlam on Sunday.
- At this time, exclusive footage from WWE.com aired, featuring an interview with Dustin Runnels and Cody Rhodes after the events of SmackDown last Friday. Runnels stated that Randy Orton still probably thinks that he's a just shell of his former self, even though he's dead wrong on that. Dustin said that he wanted to prove it to both Orton and the WWE Universe. "Orton, I'm challenging you to a match this Friday on SmackDown. And I guarantee you that after I'm done with you, you won't make it to SummerSlam on Sunday," said Dustin as Cody stood by his brother's side.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Sheamus, The Miz, Dustin Runnels)
- Returning from the commercial break, John Cena was shown arriving to the arena when Josh Mathews caught up with him, asking for his thoughts on tonight's signing of the liability waivers between he and Brock Lesnar. Cena said that he's signed numerous contracts before for matches, but never a liability waiver. But it doesn't phase him. "I don't see it as me signing away any of the WWE's responsibilities. I see it as my signing off on the fight of my life, and a fight that I will walk out of victorious. Whether my body is broken, bruised, and wounded or not, I will defeat Brock Lesnar this Sunday."
- AJ LEE DEF. NATALYA: Six days before the Fatal Four Way match for the Divas Championship, two of the participants with a mutual respect for another were forced to compete against one another here tonight. After one of the best Divas bouts in recent memory on RAW, AJ managed to counter Natalya's Powerbomb into a roll-up to get the victory.
- The bell sounded as AJ raised her arms in victory, the "Crazy Chick" seemingly ecstatic over getting such a huge victory with SummerSlam on the horizon. Natalya and AJ came face to face after the bout, extending her hand. AJ accepted the show of respect, but both were blindsided by Kaitlyn and Divas Champion Eve. The two beat down AJ and Natalya, laying them out on the canvas. Eve raised the Divas Championship high in the air, shouting at both AJ and Natalya. Suddenly, Kaitlyn hoisted Eve up to her shoulders and hit her with a Gutbuster! Eve was now also motionless on the mat as Kaitlyn scooped up the Divas Championship, raising it while standing tall over the three other Divas she meets for the title this Sunday at SummerSlam.
- Backstage, Brad Maddox was shown in his locker room with his team for SummerSlam as The Miz walked in after having failed to defeat Sheamus. "OK.....maybe things aren't going exactly as we had imagined," said Maddox. However, he told Miz that it's not a big deal. "You're still the team captain for a reason, and that's because you can lead us to victory. It doesn't matter what you do tonight, it matters what you do on Sunday. But I still want to win tonight, so Ted. You're up," said Maddox. DiBiase stood up from his seat, taking his WWE Tag Team Championship with him as he made his way out of the room. He meets Kofi Kingston, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (AJ Lee, Natalya, Kaitlyn)
- Returning to RAW, Bray Wyatt was shown in a dark corridor backstage. He said that a few weeks back, he fulfilled the prophecy of shedding Brodus Clay of all of his sins. And now, Brodus is forgiven and has seen the light, and he is the light. "I am the only beam of light that anyone needs to survive. Forget the Sun, forget the shining light that descends from the heavens. Bray Wyatt is the only light necessary. And I'm more than proud to call Brodus my child. I enjoy watching my child raise hell upon those who dare to look at my and my church with a condescending attitude! Haha.....but it ain't enough..." Wyatt said. Brodus Clay then walked into the room with the crate that was once held hostage in. "....There is another," said Wyatt. "Another soul that I have grasped and I ain't lettin' go! And this Sunday, I will welcome another child to my family. Haha......tiiiime is on my siiiiide," said Wyatt.
- KOFI KINGSTON DEF. WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPION TED DIBIASE: With both Team Flair and Team Maddox tied at one win a piece thus far, both Kofi and DiBiase were looking to gain the upperhand for their team. As DiBiase was going for a Lariat, Kofi was one step ahead of him as he hit him with Trouble In Paradise to pick up the win.
- The audience popped as Kofi stood to his following the match, celebrating his victory ecstatically. Team Flair gains the upperhand tonight with a 2-1 lead over Team Maddox, but there are still two more bouts to come as Roman Reigns meets Zack Ryder, and Mark Henry takes on the captain of Team Flair, Wade Barrett.
- Backstage, WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler was shown in the trainer's room applying a bag of ice to the side of his face. He was soon approached by Josh Mathews, who asked for his thoughts on what transpired earlier tonight between he and his opponent for SummerSlam, CM Punk. Ziggler stared at Mathews for a bit before asking if he was doubter. "Do you doubt me? You think that I can't beat Punk?" asked Ziggler. Mathews became defensive, but Ziggler lashed out at him. "It's people like you who laugh at me. Who believe that I am incapable of beating CM Punk. I bet you thought I couldn't beat John Cena either, right? Well I did. And at SummerSlam, I will beat CM Punk and I will leave SummerSlam as the WWE Champion. It's not just a lyric. I'm here to show the world, and I'm here to stay," said Ziggler.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Kofi Kingston, Ted DiBiase, Dolph Ziggler,)
- Returning to RAW, Matt Striker was shown standing by with John Laurinaitis. The audience booed as "Big Johnny" stepped into the interview set. Laurinaitis said that he requested this interview time to make an announcement. "I will be overseeing the signing tonight between John Cena and Brock Lesnar. And to ensure that there is order, myself and Mr. McMahon have created a no-contact clause for the both of them. And if either breaks the clause, that individual will be suspended indefinitely without pay." Striker thanked Laurinaitis for his time, but he wasn't finished yet. "And this is more of a warning than an announcement. I don't forgive, and I don't forget. I should be the General Manager of RAW right now, but I'm not. And I place the blame for that on one certain individual. And if I were that individual, I'd watch my back. I'm just saying," said Laurinaitis.
- ROMAN REIGNS DEF. ZACK RYDER: A return match from TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs a few weeks back where Reigns managed to score a victory over Ryder. The result tonight was no different as Ryder leaped off of the second turnbuckle, only to be hit with a Spear from Reigns to give him the victory.
- The audience showed their displeasure for the result as Reigns stood tall over Ryder, letting out a primal scream while raising his arms in victory. The score among Team Flair and Team Maddox is now even, and it looks like tonight's main event will be the deciding bout as Mark Henry takes on the captain of Team Flair, Wade Barrett.
- A graphic was shown for the signing of the liability waivers between John Cena and Brock Lesnar for their Unsanctioned Match at SummerSlam, still to come tonight on RAW.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (John Laurinaitis, Roman Reigns, Zack Ryder)
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, United States Champion Christian and Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro were shown at the announce table to watch this next bout as it pertains to their momentum heading into Sunday. A graphic was shown for the SummerSlam YouTube Pre-Show match of Christian and Alberto Del Rio vs. Antonio Cesaro and Evan Bourne.
- ALBERTO DEL RIO DEF. EVAN BOURNE: A very solid bout here. Both Del Rio and Bourne were looking to get back on track after failing to capture the Intercontinental and United States Championship respectively, as well as gain momentum for their team heading into Sunday. In the end, Del Rio locked Bourne in the Cross Armbreaker, forcing him to submit.
- The audience popped as Del Rio stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. United States Champion Christian joined him in the ring, the two standing tall with momentum on their side. Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro assisted Bourne up the entrance ramp as the two looked back at their opponents this Sunday on the SummerSlam YouTube Pre-Show.
- Backstage, John Laurinaitis was shown walking backstage with both John Cena and Brock Lesnar's liability waivers in his hands. He was soon approached by the Prime Time Players, who commented on his attire tonight. Laurinaitis thanked the two for the compliment, asking if there was anything that they needed. "Now that you mention it, Johnny. there is something. You see for months now, we have proven to the world that the Prime Players are the number one team in the WWE. And the number one team deserves to be the number one contenders for those Tag Team Championships. Ain't that ring, D. Young?" asked Titus. Darren said that by giving he and Titus a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships, it would be a very wise business decision. "Because the Prime Time Players will bring in what they're worth. And that's....millions of dollars! Millions of dollars! Millions of dollars!" said the two in unison. Laurinaitis shared a laugh with them, saying that he likes their style. However, he has no power to make them the No. 1 Contenders. But when either Ric Flair or Brad Maddox takes the General Manager position next week, he'll be sure to run the idea by them.
- Returning to the ringside area, the commentary trio quickly gave a run down for this Sunday's SummerSlam event. For the Divas Championship, Eve faces her toughest challenge yet as she defends against AJ Lee, Kaitlyn, and Natalya in a Fatal Four Way match. Two monsters collide inside of a Steel Cage as Kane and Ryback square off once again. The illustrious career of Rey Mysterio comes to an end as he faces Sin Cara in his final match. Three of the WWE's most talented superstars, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, and Kurt Angle will wage war in a Triple Threat match. The World Heavyweight Championship is one the line as Randy Orton defends against Cody Rhodes. Team Flair and Team Maddox go at it in a 5-on-5 Elimination match with the winner being named the General Manager of RAW. Dolph Ziggler defends the WWE Championship against CM Punk in a match where the title will change hands in a disqualification or count-out. And finally, the "Beast" is back. Brock Lesnar makes his in-ring return to take on John Cena in an Unsanctioned Match. SummerSlam is live, this Sunday, on pay-per-view.
- Backstage, Mark Henry and Brad Maddox were shown making their way down to the ring. The "World's Strongest Man" meets Wade Barrett, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Alberto Del Rio, Evan Bourne, Prime Time Players)
- WADE BARRETT W/ RIC FLAIR AND MARK HENRY W/ BRAD MADDOX FOUGHT TO A NO CONTEST: This was it. With the score even at 2 victories a piece for Team Flair and Team Maddox tonight, it came down to Flair's team captain, and Maddox's ace in the hole. As Henry was going for a Clothesline, Barrett dodged it as Henry inadvertently collided with the official. When Henry turned around, Barrett hit him with a Big Boot. The World's Strongest Man didn't fall to the canvas, but he did drop to one knee. Barrett then attempted to lift Henry into position for Wasteland, but he was attacked by the WWE Tag Team Champions, Wrestling Royalty.
- Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig stomped away on Barrett as the audience showered the champions with boos for essentially ruining the main event. Chris Jericho and Sheamus hit the ring, going after the WWE Tag Team Champions. Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns, Zack Ryder, and The Miz all then proceeded to join the fray as all hell broke loose between both teams, Ric Flair and Brad Maddox looking on from ringside. With Team Flair working as a cohesive unit, they managed to clear the ring of their adversaries. Kofi Dropkick'd Reigns out of the ring, Jericho and Ryder tossed out DiBiase and Hennig, Sheamus threw Miz over, and Barrett finally managed to Clothesline Henry out. Maddox kept his team away from the ring as they all left up the entrance ramp, Flair joining his team in the ring as they all stood as one, raising each other's arms high in the air. If there were ever any doubts about the unity of Team Flair, they've all been silenced, and the "Nature Boy" has the momentum on his side with his job on the line Sunday at SummerSlam.
- Backstage, John Cena was shown walking down a corridor. He and Brock Lesnar will sign the liability waivers for their Unsanctioned Match at SummerSlam, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK (Wade Barrett, Mark Henry, Team Flair)
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live this Sunday, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to RAW, John Laurinaitis was shown in the ring as a table was set up with the two liability waivers. Laurinaitis reminded everyone that he and Mr. McMahon have implemented as no-contact clause for both John Cena and Brock Lesnar. And there will be severe consequences if that clause is broken. "So without any further ado, I would like for Cena and Lesnar to peacefully come down to the ring, sign their waivers, and I would also like to take a photo op." A few seconds of silence passed before the theme of John Cena hit to a mixed reaction. He made his way out to the stage, observing the audience's response before running down to the ring. He stared heavily at Laurinaitis, believing that he may be the "individual" that he was referring to earlier tonight. Cena took a seat at the table, patiently waiting for the arrival of his opponent. A few moments later, Brock Lesnar's theme hit. The "Next Big Thing" made his way down to the ring, taking a seat while locking eyes with Cena. Laurinaitis told both men that as part of the procedure, he must remind them what the liability waivers state. "Whatever may happen in the Unsanctioned Match this Sunday at SummerSlam, the WWE will not be held accountable for anything. If either of you face serious injuries, they're on your hands. World Wrestling Entertainment will play no role whatsoever." Without any hesitation, Lesnar took a pen and signed the waiver. He threw the pen at Cena, telling him to make a wise decision. "If you sign that waiver, you've got a death wish. I will manhandle you, John. I will break every bone in your body and make sure that you breathe through tubes for the rest of your life, which I'll probably cut short on Sunday." Cena simply smirked at Lesnar, picking up the pen that was tossed at him and signed the waiver. The audience popped as both waivers have now been signed and the circumstances are now official. Whatever may happen at SummerSlam is not on the WWE's hands. "Thank you both for your time. Now if you two would please stand up, I'd like to take a photo op, said Laurinaitis. "I bet you want to hit me right now," said Lesnar to Cena. "But you're making a smart decision not to, because I doubt you want to be suspended without pay since you need all the money you can get, seeing as how your ex-wife is taking everything with your name on it." After the audience reacted, Cena stared at Lesnar. "Gentlemen, please. The photo op," said Laurinaitis as both Cena and Lesnar simply ignored him. "You know why your wife divorced you, John? Because you're not a real man. Because you couldn't get the job done, in and out of the ring," said Lesnar. Laurinaitis was still asking for the photo op, but it became clear to him that he wasn't going to get it as he left the ring. "And this Sunday, I'm going to beat you within an inch of your life. And after I beat you and become the new face of the WWE, don't go crying to me for a job or that bitch for your money back." Lesnar had a grin on his face, believing that he was getting on Cena's skin. Cena then tossed the table over as fell onto Lesnar! Lesnar immediately stood up, fuming as he got into Cena's face. However, he couldn't do anything about it as the no-contact clause was still in effect. Cena and Lesnar both stared at one another intensively, clearly not wanting to wait until this Sunday at SummerSlam to get their hands on each other.

RAW Review
Definitely loved RAW from start to finish and I love how you opened up the show with the WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler therefore setting the tone with his promo on his match against Punk at SummerSlam with the WWE Championship on the line and that if he gets DQ'ed or even counted out he loses the title but then he goes on about how he has beaten Punk not once but twice and he does have a point even though they were under controversial circumstances he still got the job done at the end of the day and Dolph I feel is underrated and he has been his whole career and now that he is a star, he still is underrated but if he can somehow beat Punk at SummerSlam to retain his WWE Championship, then that will further solidify Ziggler even though he doesn't need to be considering he beat Cena clean, but love the segment ending with Punk coming out and dropping another one of his many pipebombs on Ziggler and then leaving him laying with a GTS, what can I say I was entertained
Loved Flair interacting with the men who will be representing him on his team for SummerSlam backstage but also putting over Joe Hennig by bringing up his father the late great Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig by saying how if he is anything like his father, then he must be good and he is, but then Flair putting over Jericho and patting him on the back, ultimate sign of respect
Joe Hennig wins his first match on RAW since his name change, by beating Chris Jericho with Joe's father Mr. Perfect's move, the Perfect Plex, beating Jericho cleanly I might add, just adds credibility to Joe's new gimmick so far being perfect and I expect big things out of Joe now that he is Joe Hennig and I expect him to have a great showing at SummerSlam too, Jericho has nothing to be ashamed of, but at the same time Hennig needed to go over here
Brad Maddox backstage with his team talking to them after Joe's win, he wants to see the rest of his team win their matches and I for one think that they can, because so far Team Flair is 0-1 right now
AJ/Natalya backstage segment I loved that too, love the show of competition between these 2 face divas but also letting each other know that at SummerSlam it is every woman for herself especially when it comes to the Divas Championship, these 2 should put on a great match here on RAW
Jack Swagger beating Tyson Kidd, Swagger is definitely on the road to being unstoppable now especially now that Zeb Coulter is in his corner now and is now his valet, and I just love Zeb Coulter in the sense of his promo work because of the fact that Zeb is 100 percent right about America and illegal immigrants coming into America jumping across the border stealing jobs and what not, he is so right that the truth just hurts and I am glad that he and Swagger are on the quest to ridding WWE of all things foreign setting America right again in their minds, I love it because they are just so damn entertaining, WE THE PEOPLE, I hope they start doing their We The People Youtube videos now on RAW
Team Flair is finally on the board now, they are 1-1, Sheamus beats Team Maddox's captain The Miz in what I thought was a great match and ever since TLC Miz has been losing momentum ever since losing the WWE Championship but as for Sheamus it looks like he is on the road to gaining momentum and knowing Maddox he is not happy right now but I don't care because I want Maddox gone
Dustin Runnels is challenging the World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton this Friday on Smackdown, is Dustin crazy? Like does he have a death wish, he should know just what type of mood Orton is in and he should know just how dangerous Orton really is especially since Orton came this close to punting his brains out but if Cody Rhodes, Orton's SummerSlam opponent and Dustin's little brother is going to be in his corner, then you know Orton doesn't stand a chance but then at the same time Orton has been in much worse predicaments
Cena is in the building, I can't wait for the contract signing for later on between him and Lesnar, should be intense
AJ beats Natalya in what I thought for a divas match was actually quite surprisingly entertaining, especially the end result with AJ countering Natalya's powerbomb attempt into a roll-up pin, that was awesome, AJ now has momentum heading into SummerSlam but then right after the match Eve and Kaitlyn on the attack as they attack both AJ and Natalya, with the both of them standing tall until Eve is blindsided by Kaitlyn with Kaitlyn standing tall over all 3 of them holding the WWE Divas Championship, just goes to show you that she's ready for SummerSlam and that it will be every woman for herself
Maddox's team is 1-1 now, even playing field, but at the same time he is trying to motivate the rest of his team by saying how now what happens here on RAW doesn't matter but that at SummerSlam everything matters, who is he honestly trying to fool here?
Bray Wyatt has another "child" in his family, I wonder just who it will turn out to be that will be the "second child" of Wyatt joining him and Brodus Clay? Whoever it is, now Wyatt is amassing himself quite the team
Team Flair is on the board yet again, they are 2-1, Kofi beats DiBiase, and now Team Maddox is now 1-2, this is great
Loved Ziggler's interview backstage in the trainer's room, at SummerSlam I see him and Punk putting on a show, their match I easily see being match of the night
Love Big Johnny, especially giving a cryptic warning to John Cena by telling him to watch his back, we all know he was talking about Cena
Team Maddox is now back on the board, Roman Reigns beats Zack Ryder with ease and now Team Maddox is 2-2 and Team Flair is 2-2 now, both teams are now on an even playing field
So Youtube Pre-Show for SummerSlam, the match is set, it will be the WWE United States Champion Christian of RAW and Alberto Del Rio of Smackdown taking on the team of the WWE Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro of Smackdown and Evan Bourne of RAW, I can't wait
Del Rio beats Evan Bourne giving himself and Christian as well in a way momentum heading into SummerSlam when they face off against Bourne and Cesaro, but I loved the match altogether on its own because Del Rio is really coming into his own as a face
Primetime Players, love PTP and I love they are so full of enthusiasm and such charisma, they just make me laugh so much so entertaining and I hope they do become the WWE Tag Team Champions sooner or later but if they want a title shot, they have to go through Wrestling Royalty DiBiase and Hennig and they have had the WWE Tag Team Championship for a really long time now, but if any team can beat them, it is probably the PTP, but at the same time PTP and Wrestling Royalty are both heel tag teams, so something has gotta give
Love your rundown of your SummerSlam match card because your SummerSlam match card in itself looks really stacked especially for the biggest party of the summer, and I for one can't wait until SummerSlam because it is almost here upon us, 6 more days until SummerSlam but I honestly see Cena/Lesnar being the main event of the evening that closes out the show with Punk/Ziggler going on before Cena/Lesnar
Barrett and Henry's match ending in a No Contest means both teams were 2-2 tonight, which means both teams have momentum heading into SummerSlam but at the same time the only 2 members of Team Maddox to win a match tonight were Joe Hennig and Roman Reigns, both have wrestling in their blood, grew up in this business, both men coming from great wrestling families with Hennig being a 3rd generation superstar the son of Mr. Perfect grandson of Larry the Ax Hennig, and Reigns being a 2nd generation superstar the son of Sika of the Wild Samoans, both men I see becoming stars at SummerSlam
Team Flair definitely showing unity and Team Maddox in retreat, I loved it
Now the contract signing for Cena/Lesnar especially after the things Lesnar said about Cena, especially bringing up Cena's divorce and his ex-wife, wow that was low even for Brock but he's now in Cena's head knowing Cena can't do anything about it because of the no-contact rule between the 2 of them that if they touch one another before SummerSlam, they could be suspended indefinitely without pay, love the no-contact rule, definitely Cena/Lesnar is now definitely intense but extremely personal too at the same time and Cena lifting the table tossing it over Lesnar as it fell on top of Lesnar, loved that too, especially with both of these men nose to nose wanting to hit each other badly but knowing they can't was awesome
Great way to end RAW and I can't wait until NXT and Smackdown!!!!!!!!!!!

SummerSlam Predictions
As for the match order, I see it being like this:
Youtube pre-show 1) Opening contest: Divas Championship Fatal 4-Way Match- Eve (c) vs AJ vs Kaitlyn vs Natalya 2) Triple-Threat Match- Kurt Angle vs Daniel Bryan vs Dean Ambrose 3) Steel Cage Match- Kane vs Ryback 4) Rey Mysterio's Farewell Match- Rey Mysterio vs Sin Cara 5) World Heavyweight Championship- Randy Orton (c) vs Cody Rhodes 6) Team Maddox vs Team Flair: The Miz, Ted DiBiase & John Hennig, Roman Reigns, and Mark Henry vs. Wade Barrett, Chris Jericho & Sheamus, Zack Ryder and Kofi Kingston 7) WWE Championship (if Ziggler gets DQ'ed or counted out he loses the title)- Dolph Ziggler (c) vs CM Punk 8) Main Event of the Evening- Unsanctioned Match- Brock Lesnar vs John Cena
Youtube pre-show prediction, calling it right now, Del Rio and Christian beat Cesaro and Bourne
1) I predict Kaitlyn will become the new WWE Divas Champion but as for who she pins, I see her pinning her former best friend AJ to win the title
2) Angle's first match back in a WWE ring, how can you go against Angle? The man is a veteran, I am going with Kurt Angle by making Daniel Bryan tap out to the Ankle Lock
3) Ryback goes over Kane again this time in a Steel Cage Match, with Ryback's undefeated streak still in tact
4) Sin Cara goes over Rey in Rey's last match but I expect Rey to put on a show with Sin Cara too with this being a high-flying lucha libre classic with Sin Cara going over becoming the new masked luchador superhero of the WWE taking over Rey's spot
5) Randy Orton wins retaining his World Heavyweight Championship against Cody Rhodes but I expect Cody Rhodes to take Orton to the limit perhaps with these 2 facing off again at Night of Champions, who knows maybe? But I expect Orton to retain
6) Team Flair wins with the sole survivors being Wade Barrett and Chris Jericho with Joe Hennig being the sole survivor of Team Maddox who then gets eliminated with the next generation of Perfect solidifying himself as a star in this match
7) Dolph Ziggler retains his WWE Championship going over CM Punk cleanly which further solidifies Dolph's reign as WWE Champion proving all the critics and naysayers wrong, but I expect Punk to get a shot at the next pay per view as well
8) Brock Lesnar's first match back in a WWE ring, Unsanctioned Match against Cena, I expect this match-up to have it all, I see this having so much brutality and physicality with there being blood being shed, with Lesnar going out on top beating Cena within an inch of his life but Cena taking Lesnar to the limit and then some with Lesnar going over
But then Brock taking time off after SummerSlam and then perhaps returning at Survivor Series in November or returning at the 2013 Royal Rumble pay per view in January

THEN. NOW. FOREVER. - Following the intro video package, cameras scanned the audience here at Full Sail University as William Regal and Byron Saxton welcomed everyone to WWE NXT. Tonight will see the final preparations for next week's special live episode. One of the finalists in the Elimination Chase, Richie Steamboat, will do battle with JTG. And last week, Big E Langston promised that he would be here in attendance. Will he live up to his promise? And if so, how will JTG react. Also, the "Queen of NXT" cup continues as Paige takes on Sofia Cortez, with major implications on the first seed of the cup. All that and more tonight on NXT.
- The theme of Damien Sandow hit as the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" made his way down to the ring a ton of heat from the Full Sail audience. A graphic was shown for next week's main event, in which Sandow will be invoking his rematch clause to challenge Seth Rollins for the NXT Championship. Once in the ring, Sandow asked for complete silence from the audience, which only resulted in more boos ensuing. He stated that next week, a landmark injustice in the WWE will be rectified as he will reclaim the NXT Championship from the "much dire" Seth Rollins. Sandow said that it's a travesty that Rollins roams the landscape of NXT referring to himself as the champion, and the WWE Universe somehow rejoice at that. "But let it be known that next week, there will be no further celebration for Rollins or any of you, his fellow ignoramuses for I, Damien Sandow, will seize the very possession that remains rightfully mine, that being the coveted NXT Championship." Sandow then said that to prepare himself for next week, he wishes to issue an open challenge. "So if there is formidable adversary lurking the backstage area, feel free to assert yourself in this ring against me." After a few seconds of silence, an unfamiliar theme hit as El Local made his way out to the stage. Local, who made his unsuccessful debut a number of weeks back, hurried into the ring as Sandow looked puzzled with a slight chuckle to himself, not finding him to be a worthy opponent. Nonetheless, El Local has accepted the challenge of Damien Sandow as the two square off, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- EL LOCAL DEF. DAMIEN SANDOW: El Local opened the eyes of many here, especially the No. 1 contender Damien Sandow. Towards the end of the bout, NXT Champion Seth Rollins made his way down to ringside to get a closer look at the man he defends his championship against next week. Sandow became a bit too focus on Rollins, glancing back at him and taking his focus off of his opponent. As Sandow was looking for the Terminus, Local was able to counter it into an inside cradle to get the shocking victory.
- The audience erupted as El Local quickly slid out of the ring, he too stunned at the result. Sandow's eyes looked as if they were about to pop out of his sockets, stunned and speechless. Rollins raised Local's arm in victory, congratulating the mysterious masked competitor. Sandow's expression of disbelief turned to anger as he stared at Rollins, believing that he costed him the victory. Regardless, El Local has just shocked the world by defeating Damien Sandow, one week before the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" challenges for the NXT Championship.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to WWE NXT on ION Television, a recap of the previous match was shown as the mysterious El Local scored a major upset victory over the No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship, Damien Sandow. Cameras cut back to William Regal and Byron Saxton, who were both still speechless at the shocking result. As they discussed the upset, they noticed the audience beginning to cheer. Cameras then showed Big E Langston entering the Full Sail Arena, taking a seat in the front row. It looks like Big E has kept his promise of being here tonight, and will JTG have anything to say about this?
- COREY GRAVES AND JAKE CARTER DEF. JIRO AND SAKAMOTO: Graves and Carter made their entrance on crutches, mocking the man who they attacked last week, Bo Rotundo. The two devious superstars were able to keep their momentum rolling, Graves forcing Sakamoto to submit to the 13th Step.
- Backstage, Briley Pierce was shown standing outside of the locker room of Damien Sandow, looking to get a word with him. However, it would appear that Sandow has locked himself inside of his locker room, most likely distraught over his loss to El Local. Briley said that if he's able to speak to Sandow, he'll be sure to let the WWE Universe know what the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" has to say.
- Cutting back to the arena, cameras showed Big E Langston once again in the front row as the audience repeatedly chanted his name. Soon, the theme of JTG hit as the self proclaimed "Mr. NXT" marched down to ringside, meeting Big E face to face. "I said I never wanted to see you again. I fired you. You have no business being here, Big E. You see, NXT is my house. And you're trespassing as far as I'm concerned. I don't care if you got a ticket. I got a match next, and I refuse to perform in front of all these haters with the biggest hater of them all right in my face. So get out, Big E," said JTG. Big E paid no attention to JTG, remaining in his seat. With his words being ineffective, JTG grabbed a fan's water bottle and splashed the water in Big E's face. Big E allow his emotions to get the better of him as delivered a shove to JTG. "Security! This fan touched me! He put his hands on me! Throw him out!" shouted JTG. Security soon arrived on the scene, informing Big E that he must leave the premises. They escorted Big E out of Full Sail University as the audience showered them with boos, JTG satisfied with his actions as he prepares to meet Richie Steamboat, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, the RAW Rebound was shown, focusing on the signing of the liability waivers between John Cena and Brock Lesnar for their Unsanctioned Match this Sunday at SummerSlam.
- RICHIE STEAMBOAT DEF. JTG: A very good bout here between two of NXT's more solid in-ring competitors. A victory was a must here for Steamboat in order to head into next week's Elimination Chase finals against Trent Barreta with the momentum on his side. Speaking of Trent, he joined William Regal and Byron Saxton on commentary to observe the man he meets next week on NXT Live. After Richie delivered a Roundhouse Kick to JTG, he came down with a Springboard Bulldog to pick up the victory.
- The audience popped for Richie Steamboat as he stood to his feet, celebrating his victory. Trent Barreta stood on his chair at the announce table as Richie climbed onto the second turnbuckle, the two locking eyes from a distance. Next week on NXT Live, one of these two men will be named the new No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship.
- Backstage, Briley Pierce was shown still outside of Damien Sandow's locker room, giving an update on the ongoing situation. Briley stated that during the previous match, Sandow stormed out of his locker room with his bags while covering his face with a towel. He didn't say a single word, but we can presume that Sandow will be hell bent on getting both revenge on Seth Rollins and the NXT Championship when NXT is live.
- Cutting back to the arena, William Regal and Byron Saxton discussed next week's special live edition of NXT. Regal seemed a bit out of focus, saying that he had something that he wanted to say. "Kassius Ohno. You and I have had our differences for quite some time now, and I don't take too kindly to you using other superstars such as Oliver Grey to send a message to me. If you want to get inside my head, then meet me face to face. Next week, I will stand in that ring and call you out. And from one villain to another, I expect you to show face here next week, Ohno."
- Backstage, Paige and Sofia Cortez were shown on split-screen making their way to the ring. The Divas take center stage in our main event, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for SummerSlam, live this Sunday, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning from the commercial break, NXT Champion Seth Rollins was shown backstage with El Local, still commending the mysterious masked luchadore on his major upset victory over Damien Sandow earlier. "You don't have a contract here, right? Let's go to Ricardo Rodriguez's office. I'm sure he'd love to sign you," said Rollins. However, Local was very hesitant to visit the General Manager. "Mr. Rodriguez is a very busy man, and uh, I don't want to bother him. You know?" said El Local. Rollins was a bit surprised by his hesitant, but complied with Local.
- Cutting back to the arena, the updated standings for the "Queen of NXT" cup was shown, coming off of another weekend of live events.
1) Sofia Cortez (6-0) 2) Paige (5-1) 2) Raquel Diaz (5-1) 4) Skyler Moon (4-2) 5) Audrey Marie (3-3) 6) Sasha Banks (2-4) 7) Emma (0-6)
- Coming into tonight, Emma remains in last place with zero wins, making it unlikely for NXT's resident "dancer" to make it to the final four. Audrey Marie and Sasha Banks have switched positions with Audrey moving up to the fifth seed, and Sasha being bumped down to the sixth. Skyler Moon falls from the second seed to the fourth, while Raquel Diaz and Paige both remained tied for second. And along with all of that, Sofia Cortez remains undefeated as she sits in first place. However, that can all change with this next bout.
- PAIGE (6-1) DEF. SOFIA CORTEZ (6-1): Not only the best Divas match in recent memory, but also one of the best overall matches we've seen on NXT. With approximately fourteen minutes given, both Paige and Sofia were able to put on a stellar match that kept the audience on the edge of their seats. Sofia hit a Superplex from the top rope, but the "Anti Diva" managed to kick out. Sofia became more frustrated as the match went on, looking to finish it instantly. As she attempted the Wheelbarrow DDT, Paige countered it into a German Suplex that planted Sofia onto the back of her. Paige capitalized on the situation, grabbing the dazed Sofia and hitting RamPaige to pick up the victory.
- The audience erupted as Paige was declared the winner, the commentary unit putting over the quality of the match and the effort from the two Divas. After several highlights from the match were shown, the updated standings were put on display as Sofia's perfect record has been shattered, and she and Paige now share the number one seed in the "Queen of NXT" Cup. Paige stood tall in the ring, the "Anti Diva" triumphant to conclude the show.

Loved NXT, I really did especially because of Big E. Langston and personally I feel that Big E. he is too big for NXT, and he deserves to be on either RAW or Smackdown on either roster because Big E. is more than capable but I love his and JTG's feud and I know it will be just a matter of time before Ricardo Rodriguez NXT GM signs Big E. to a contract and if and when that happens there will be nothing that stops Big E. from completely tearing JTG apart
Damien Sandow gets upsetted by El Locale, wow another masked luchador, El Locale he could become the next Rey Mysterio or the next Sin Cara over time especially if he ends up becoming a huge star in NXT, but as for Sandow I can't wait for him to invoke his rematch clause for the NXT Championship because I know he can beat Rollins
Richie Steamboat picking up momentum, I can see him beating Barretta to become the next #1 Contender for the NXT Championship setting up Rollins/Steamboat in a face vs face contest which could go down as being the best NXT match-up in recent memory
Sofia's undefeated streak is over courtesy of Paige, I knew it just had to end sometime but as for a divas match being the main event, I can see why, I mean these 2 hands down are the best divas in NXT and could be potential future divas in the Divas division on RAW/Smackdown especially for the WWE Divas Championship, so, their match by far stole the whole show
Great NXT and I can't wait until Smackdown!!!!!!!!!!

Damien Sandow trying to look strong by calling an open challenge is a great idea to introduce El Local. No E at th end. I assume this El Local is Ricardo. Corey Graves and Jake Carter feel like the only tag team. I think Bray Wyatt was called up to early and that the Wyatt family is needed. This win didn't gain them much momentum. Since when does a jobber get to do whatever he wants. Richie Steambat has a huge potential and if used right you can make him a star of NXT. Local has to be Ricardo. Divas hear is nice. I knew Paige would win because its like me pushing Miz to the WWE championship.

THEN. NOW. FOREVER. - Following the intro and pyrotechnics display, the commentary trio of Michael Cole, Josh Mathews, and Booker T welcomed everyone to Friday Night SmackDown as we are just 48 hours from the Summer extravaganza known as SummerSlam! And two nights before Cody Rhodes challenges for the World Heavyweight Championship, his brother Dustin Runnels will look to weaken the champion, Randy Orton, in a one on one match. Plus, a rematch from last week as United States Champion Christian battles Intercontinental Champion, Antonio Cesaro. All that and more tonight on the final stop before SummerSlam.
- The theme of Kurt Angle hit as the Austin audience stood to their feet for the Olympic Gold Medalist. As Angle was making his way down to the ring, a graphic was shown for his return to pay-per-view this Sunday in a Triple Threat match against Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose. Angle stepped into the ring, grabbing a microphone. He said that since returning to the WWE a couple of weeks back, there's been two thorns in his side. "One being a man that I actually respect, Dean Ambrose. I can see a fire in Ambrose's eyes. A fire that many saw in me when I was breaking into the WWE. Ambrose is a fighter who doesn't take crap from anyone, which is evident by the fact that he spit in my face two weeks ago. And truth be told, I was prepared to only sign Ambrose's contract last week and tear the house down with him at SummerSlam. But a little pest kept ringing in my ear. Well, not actually a pest. More like a goat face," said Angle, referring to Daniel Bryan. The Olympic Gold Medalist said that it was obvious that Bryan was going everything in his power to dodge him, he made sure that Bryan has nowhere to run from him. "So this Sunday at SummerSlam, I'm going to prove to the world that I still belong in the WWE, and I still have have what it takes to kick some ass and be the best wrestler that ever existed." Angle was then interrupted by the theme of Daniel Bryan, who made his way out to a chorus of "Yes!" chants from the audience, infuriating him. Bryan told Angle that he wanted to set the record straight. "I wasn't trying to dodge you last week, Kurt. Just like you and the rest of the WWE Universe, I wanted to see you and Dean Ambrose go one on one at SummerSlam. I wanted to see two great athletes steal the show. So, since we're in an agreement now, what do you say we go to Teddy Long's office and request that I be removed from the match." The audience booed Bryan, not buying his excuse one bit. Neither did Angle as he responded with a simple "No." "No!?" shouted Bryan as Angle responded with the same answer. The two then bickered, shouting "No!" repeatedly at the other. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" shouted Dean Ambrose as he made his way out to a mixed reaction from the Austin audience. "Yes, Kurt. I don't take crap from anyone, and that includes you. Yes, Daniel. You're a goat faced coward. Yes, the three of us will steal the show on Sunday. And yes, I will walk out at the winner," said Ambrose. Bryan shouted "No!" at Ambrose, leading to the psychotic superstar shouting "Yes!" Bryan then shouted at Angle as all three engaged in a "Yes!" and "No!" war.
- Soon, the bickering was interrupted by the theme of 3MB. Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, and Jinder Mahal made their way out to the stage as Angle, Bryan, Ambrose, and the audience looked puzzled. "Come on, y'all. These people didn't pay to see three grown men arguing like children. They paid to see the three hottest artists in the world today. They paid to see the world premier of 3MB, baby!" said Slater. "And just what in the hell are you three supposed to be?" asked Angle. McIntyre angrily took the microphone and said that they are what the people. They're what the people came to see. And they're what the people are going to get. Jinder then said that the three of them are here to save the art of music. "We all posses great talent, and will rock our way to the top of the WWE." Angle, still puzzled and irritated, said the only thing he sees are three ridiculous looking jacka*es. After the audience popped for Angle's comment, Slater told him to look in the mirror. "Because ridiculous people I see are you all in the ring," he said. Bryan lashed out at him, asking if Slater was calling him 'ridiculous looking?' "I do not look ridiculous! I am handsome! And my beard is amazing!" shouted Bryan. Slater told Bryan and Angle that he has a great idea for them. "If you two are so hot, then maybe you need something to calm y'all down. So I am inviting you two to the world premier of 3MB tonight," said Slater. "Actually, I have a better idea. Why don't you three get in this ring so I can kick your a**es," said Angle. Bryan had a different idea, telling Angle that he wants to face 3MB. Angle and Bryan argued back and forth until Slater made a challenge. "How about the both of you go up against 3MB tonight?" he asked. Bryan seemed a bit hesitant, not wanting to team up with Angle. The Olympic Gold Medalist, on the other hand, was open to the team just for the purpose of getting his hands on 3MB. "And what about me?" asked Dean Ambrose. "What about you?" asked Slater. "I like to inflict pain, and I don't feel like waiting another 48 hours to do just that. So why don't we make it a Six Man Tag?" asked Ambrose as the audience cheered. Slater, McIntyre, and Mahal all seemed a bit hesitant, but ultimately accepted the challenge. Angle, Bryan, and Ambrose all glanced back at each other as tonight, SummerSlam opponents will team up.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, a recap of the opening segment was shown, announcing tonight's main event. Just two days before they collide at SummerSlam, Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan, and Dean Ambrose will team up to take on Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, and Jinder Mahal of 3MB.
- INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION ANTONIO CESARO DEF. UNITED STATES CHAMPION CHRISTIAN: A rematch from last week's opening contest, which was interrupted by Evan Bourne. Both Christian and Cesaro were able to put on a stellar bout, two days before a big Tag Team match on the SummerSlam Pre-Show. Much like last week, Bourne ran down to ringside and attempted to get involved. However, Alberto Del Rio ran down to prevent that from happening. He caught Bourne with an Enziguri before locking in the Cross Armbreaker. In the ring, Christian was going for a Spear, but Cesaro got his bare-knee up as Christian collided with it. Cesaro picked up the dazed United States Champion, hitting the Neutralizer to pick up the victory.
- The audience booed as Cesaro was handed back his Intercontinental Championship, raising it high in the air. At ringside, Del Rio released the Cross Armbreaker that he had on Bourne, staring as Cesaro. The Intercontinental Champion helped Bourne up to his feet as the made their way up the entrance ramp, Del Rio sliding into the ring to help Christian up.
- Backstage, Cody Rhodes and Dustin Runnels were shown walking down a corridor as they discussed strategy for Dustin's match tonight against World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. Suddenly, the two were approached by SmackDown General Manager, Teddy Long. "I bet you two are having a great time right now. You both have your entire night planned out, and that includes Dustin's match tonight against Randy Orton," said Teddy. The General Manager then informed the two brothers of some news. "Cody, you're not getting anywhere near this match. Because if you get involved in any way, shape or form, then I will call off your World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam." Cody was irate, shouting at Teddy that he can't do that. The entire complexion of tonight's bout has changed as any interference on Cody's behalf will cost him his World Heavyweight Title shot.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- CURT HAWKINS AND TYLER REKS DEF. R-TRUTH AND LITTLE JIMMY VIA DQ: Perhaps one of the most bizarre matches Friday Night SmackDown has ever held. Little Jimmy remained on the apron for most of the match, at least in R-Truth's mind. As Truth hit Hawkins with a Dropkick, he made the tag by Little Jimmy by slapping the air. The official himself was puzzled, but called for the tag. Hawkins stood in the center of the ring, pretending to look down at Jimmy. He laughed to himself for a bit before stomping the mat repeatedly. This caused Truth to jump into the ring, taking Hawkins down. Truth whaled away on Hawkins, as well as getting a few shots in on Reks. Truth would not restrain himself, forcing the official to call for the bell.
- As the bell sounded, Truth continued to stomp away on Hawkins before hitting an Axe Kick. Reks then slid into the ring, trying to go after Truth. Truth managed to dodge a Clothesline from Reks, planting him with the "Shut Up!" Truth then checked on Little Jimmy, making sure he was alright after being repeatedly stomped on. Truth and Jimmy made their way up the ramp, living up to their promise that Hawkins and Reks would "get got."
- At this time, a special video package for the Elimination Tag Team match between Team Flair and Team Maddox was shown, featuring "Burn" by Papa Roach. Who will be declared the sole General Manager of RAW this Sunday at SummerSlam?
