God, you worried me there for a second. I thought you had done a whole year of PPVs at first and I was like WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA.
Alright, the final Raw of 2012. A good opening promo with Triple H and Bray Wyatt... good stuff, looking forward to a match between the two next week even though I doubt it will turn out as much of an actual match. Decent opening match up with Rob Van Dam beating Zack Ryder with Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger at ringside. Interested to see a future match between the two for the United States Championship, as long as Swagger keeps it (unless he goes on to World Title status, which I don't view right now really). Of course Ric Flair is hosting a New Year's party... John Cena vs Seth Rollins on the first show of Raw in 2013 shall be good. You're definitely building up a good show there with just two matches announced so far... and another big announcement with The Rock appearing net week. A nice promo for Total Diva's... blech. Paige being the Anti Diva was expected to come out, good set up for future Diva's stuff going down later. Nice interaction of Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman backstage, interesting to see Seth practically blow off Heyman. Not in that way, though, you dirty sonofabitch. Anyway, Wade Barrett and John Cena getting the win over CM Punk and Seth Rollins is huge for the two of them, glad to see it being Barrett pinning Punk as it gives hm some momentum going into next week against Punk inside of a steel cage - obviously another big match for the first Raw of 2013. Evan Bourne in the Derrick Bateman Entourage...? Alright, haha. Kind of weird, but, we'll see what happens. You've made Evan Bourne so strange in your diary, you know. Anyway, Ryback defeating Titus O'Neil comes as no surprise to me. Nor his Meathook on Darren Young afterward. Interesting episode of Miz TV here, with Roman Reigns and Brad Maddox being his guests. Nice interaction between the group and another big match made for Raw next week between Miz and Reigns. Jesus, making that hsow big enough are we? Bateman and Bourne beating Kingston and Truth, no surprise here with it being a new tag team... finally, a huge promo to end the show with The Wyatt Family attacking Ric Flair. Big personal message sent to Triple H going into their match next week... shall be interesting to see how Hunter reacts. A good Raw show overall, and don't pull crap like that with posting the PPV reviews and making me be like what again!

Ooh, Bray Wyatt vs. Triple H is something I'd like to read. A match I haven't seen people do yet, so I'm looking forward to that. Rob Van Dam over Zack Ryder was expected, and the idea of RVD/Swagger for the United States Title excites me. Could be fun. Original again. Ric Flair throwing a New Year's party is realistic as General Managers always seem to do it. Seth Rollins vs. John Cena makes me rock hard. The Rock on Raw next week? Raw is gearing up to be huge. I feel like Total Divas is going to be relevant to Divas division storylines in the future which is good. Paige calling out Kaitlyn continues to make this feud a good Divas fued. Honestly, if I had to rank like the top five or ten Diva stories that I've ever read, you'd have all of them. I like that Rollins stayed away from Paul Heyman. Makes him a strong heel to want to go it alone. Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho is something I'm looking forward to. Very good tag team match, with four big stars. Hopefully this means Punk and Rollins will go over next week. Evan Bourne is back? As a servant? Hmm, not too sure on this just yet. Derrick Bateman is all kinds of awesome right now though. Ryback continues to pick up steam heading into the Royal Rumble which is good. Good episode of Miz TV. Miz/Reigns, Rollins/Cena, Punk/Barrett, Bray/Triple H and The Rock make next week's Raw one of the biggest ever. I wonder if Bateman's entourage will grow, glad they won here. Awesome ending as the Wyatt Family takes out the General Manager in a gutsy play by them. Again, you capture Bray well as you can channel your "inner Wyatt" better than anyone I've seen so far. Another good show and my goodness is next week's Raw something I'm looking forward to more than most shows.

January 2nd, 2013 - Winter Park, FL Royal Rumble is live in four weeks on Pay-Per-View!
In an empty Full Sail Arena, the trio of Tony Dawson, Byron Saxton and Renee Young welcomed everyone to a very special edition of NXT in which we will take a look back at 2012. “April 4th is where it all started here at Full Sail University, and since then, we have seen the rise of competitors such as Seth Rollins, Damien Sandow and Paige. Throughout the evening, interviews will all three of them will be conducted,” he said. “Along with that, we will air two of NXT’s biggest matches from 2012 in their entirety, one of which has never been shown before on television,” added Saxton. Finally, Renee stated that NXT General Manager Ricardo Rodriguez has a huge announcement regarding one of the brand’s superstars. First, we kick things off by taking a look back at the tournament to crown the first ever NXT Champion. NXT Championship tournament (May 2nd, 2012 – May 30th, 2012)Alex Riley def. Corey Graves in a Quarterfinals match Seth Rollins def. Mason Ryan in a Quarterfinals match Damien Sandow def. Richie Steamboat in a Quarterfinals match Kassius Ohno def. JTG in a Quarterfinals match Alex Riley def. Kassius Ohno in a Semifinals match Damien Sandow def. Seth Rollins via disqualification in a Semifinals match Damien Sandow def. Alex Riley in the Finals to become the first ever NXT Champion Following the video package that highlighted the tournament, Devin Taylor was shown standing by with Damien Sandow. She asked the “Intellectual Savior” for his thoughts on becoming the inaugural NXT Champion. “Well, it was an honor. Not for myself, but for NXT’s history books. The origins of this brand will forever be linked to a man with an esteemed level of superiority. You’re welcome, NXT.” Following that, she asked for his thoughts on making the transition from NXT to SmackDown. Sandow stated that it was a transition that came with no difficulty whatsoever. “Star quality is just one of my many noble characteristics.” Finally, she asked what 2013 holds for him. Sandow said that as a member of God’s Gifts, 2013 is filled with numerous possibilities. “Cody Rhodes, Alberto Del Rio, Antonio Cesaro and I are truly fortunate to have a mentor with as much class and dignity as John Bradshaw Layfield.” Taylor thanked Sandow for his time, to which he responded with his signature phrase, “You’re welcome.” BREAKA quick video package was shown, featuring some of the other NXT stars who shined in 2012, including Richie Steamboat, Bo Rotundo, Corey Graves, Jake Carter, Big E Langston and Adrian Neville. Returning to the Full Sail Arena, Tony Dawson said that following Damien Sandow's becoming of NXT Champion, one superstar was resilient in his quest for the gold, that being Seth Rollins. "Rollins continuously chased the title, coming close at NXT's first ever iPPV. One week later, Rollins was presented with one final opportunity to become champion. Let's go back to July 18th, the night that the face of NXT changed." JULY 18TH, 2012 NXT CHAMPIONSHIP - SETH ROLLINS DEF. DAMIEN SANDOW An exceptional main event to NXT, given a near 20-minutes worth of time. Halfway through the match, a majority of the NXT roster came out to the stage to watch as the biggest, and arguably best match in NXT history unfolded. As Sandow was attempting the Terminus, Rollins was able to fight out of it. He flipped over Sandow, planting him with a DDT. With Sandow on his knees, Rollins hit him with a Superkick, only managing to score a two count. Rollins couldn't believe that Sandow had kicked out, but took no time to reflect as he waited for the champion to get back up. Rollins failed to connect another Superkick, allowing Sandow to catch him with the Terminus. To the shock of everyone, Rollins kicked out. An infuriated Sandow attempted another, but Rollins fought of of it. After hitting Sandow with an Enziguri, the champion dropped to one knee as Rollins hit him with another Superkick. Sandow was dazed, but still on his knees as Rollins ran the ropes and hit a Blackout! Rollins covered Sandow, hooking the legs to finally get the victory and the championship. The roof nearly came off of Full Sail University as the audience erupted. Rollins was handed the NXT Championship as he raised it high in the air, finally overcoming Damien Sandow and every obstacle that has been put in front of him. The NXT roster stormed the ring to congratulate Rollins, lifting him up to their shoulders as he celebrated with the title. Sandow could be seen on the floor at ringside with his hands on his face, knowing that his most prized possession no longer belongs to him. The NXT Championship, this moment, and this night now belong to Seth Rollins. After the airing of the historic match, Devin Taylor conducted an interview with the former NXT Champion, Seth Rollins. She asked Rollins what was going through his mind the moment that he won the NXT Title. "It was overwhelming to say the least. Becoming the NXT Champion was all that I ever wanted to accomplish on this brand, and I finally had done it. Of course, my reign didn't end exactly how I would have liked, but I'm pleased that I could leave my mark on NXT after carrying it for so long." He was then asked at what moment he decided to make his main roster debut in the fashion that he did by attacking John Cena at Bragging Rights. "That night that I lost the NXT Championship, John Cena had given a speech about seizing opportunities. When I made my way through the curtain after losing to Kassius Ohno, I was pissed. I felt as if all of my hard work on NXT meant nothing anymore, and I was going to have start from scratch on RAW. It wasn't until then that Cena's word hit me. I was backstage at Bragging Rights, knowing right from the moment that I entered the building what I was going to do. I didn't intend on staring anything with Cena, I was merely doing what he would have done himself. But since Cena wants to be a hypocrite and take offense to my actions, I have no problem putting him down next Monday on the first RAW of 2013. And after that, my one and only focus is winning the Royal Rumble match." Rollins left the interview scene, sending a clear message to John Cena before their match next Monday on RAW. BREAKA promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown, featuring the long-awaited Intercontinental Championship match between Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho. SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy. Returning to NXT's "Best of 2012" episode, the focus was shifted to one Diva in particular who not only made an impact on the NXT Divas division, but the WWE's as well. A video package was shown, beginning with shots of a pale woman sitting on a staircase. For weeks, the identity of this woman was a mystery, though she made her presence felt by sneaking into the arena and attacking some of the Divas. It wasn't that much later that we finally learned of her name - Paige. Claiming to be the "Anti Diva," she vowed to take action against all stereotypical Divas and show the world what a female wrestler truly is. Upon being granted an NXT contract, she was quickly embroiled in a feud with Summer Rae and Tamina. At NXT's first ever iPPV, she managed to pick up a victory over Tamina before finally getting her hands on Summer, extracting revenge against the two of them. As the series to crown NXT's "Queen" began, Paige was able to secure the #1 overall spot. However, she suffered her first defeat at the hands of Raquel Diaz, who became the "Queen of NXT." Paige set her sights on Raquel and Vickie Guerrero, earning a match against Vickie at NXT's second iPPV. Along the way, however, another opportuntiy presented itself. During a visit from Divas Champion Eve, Paige interrupted her and staked her claim for the Divas Title. After Paige defeated Vickie on iPPV, the "Anti Diva" was officially moved to the Monday Night RAW roster. While she was unsuccessful against Eve at Hell in a Cell, she made up for it with a victory at Survivor Series to become the Divas Champion, as well as the first NXT Diva to ever capture the title. Backstage, Devin Taylor was standing by with the Divas Champion, Paige. The "Anti Diva" was clearly not in the best of moods, but went on the interview anyway. Taylor asked for her thoughts about initially being rejected from the NXT roster. "It didn't come as much of a shock, really. I knew that I wasn't the standard WWE Diva, but I didn't want to fit into that mold. I wanted to create my own, and that's exactly what I did here on NXT, and it's what I am currently doing on RAW." Paige was then asked for her thoughts upon winning the Divas Championship at Survivor Series. "Overwhelming doesn't even begin to describe that moment. Everything that I had worked for since I was thirteen culminated in the middle of the ring at Survivor Series. All of the hardships, the setbacks, leaving my family and England, it was all worth it. Add the fact that one month later, I ended Eve's career, the past couple of months have been the best of my life." Finally, Devin asked her if she wants to take this opportunity to deliver any words to her opponent at the Royal Rumble, another former NXT Diva, Kaitlyn? "Kaitlyn has no clue what she did to me last week. She didn't just tarnish my family's training facility, she personally attacked them. There's younger people in my family who are frightened now because of what Kaitlyn did. But, it's like I said. Kaitlyn made this personal, and now, I'm going to return the favor. I will be at SmackDown on Friday, and at any given moment, I will get my hands on Kaitlyn. I promise that." BREAKA promo was shown that highlighted the appearances from several top WWE superstars throughout the year on NXT, including WWE Champion CM Punk, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan and Eve. Returning to NXT on ION Television, the trio of Tony Dawson, Byron Saxton and Renee Young spoke about next week's huge edition of NXT. The NXT Tag Team Championships will be on the line when Corey Graves and Jake Carter defend against Richie Steamboat and Bo Rotundo. Also, the first ever NXT Women's Champion will be crowned in either Raquel Diaz or Emma. Finally, in what is sure to be the most brutal match we have seen yet here at the Full Sail Arena, Kassius Ohno puts the NXT Championship on the line against William Regal in an I Quit match. "The last time Regal and Ohno met was at NXT's second iPPV. Right now, we are going to air that match in its entirety to give the NXT Universe a taste of what is to come next week," said Saxton. OCTOBER 10TH, 2012 - NXT ON iPPV KASSIUS OHNO DEF. WILLIAM REGAL VIA REFEREE STOPPAGEThe NXT Universe expected this to be an all out brawl, and that's exactly what we received here. After the opening bell, Regal charged at Ohno and began striking him with repeated body shots in a corner. As Ohno retaliated, the action spilled to the outside, forcing several officials to get involved and restore order. After both men were back in the ring, Regal delivered a thumb to Ohno's eye before taking him down again. Later on, we saw the two brawl on the outside again as Ohno tripped Regal, the Englishman landing face-first onto the steel steps. A bit of concern emerged as Regal seemed to be in a daze, but told the official to allow him to continue competing. Ohno began targeting Regal's head from that point on, delivering numerous kicks, each one appearing more violent than the other as time went on. Despite that, Regal remained in favor of allowing the match go on. As Regal struggled to get to his feet, Ohno pulled down his knee pad, looking to hit him with his own Knee Trembler. Regal managed to move out of harm's way, taking Ohno down with repeated Clotheslines. The audience roared for Regal as the momentum looked to be shifting in his favor. He then charged towards Ohno, who got a leg up in time as the side of Regal's skull crashed into his boot. Regal instantly fell to the canvas, the official asking him one more time if he wanted to the match to be stopped. Regal once again refused before receiving a Roaring Elbow to the back of his head. Regal was now out cold as the official decided that he had seen enough, calling off the match. As the announcement was made that the official deemed William Regal unable to continue, Kassius Ohno went back on the assault and struck the unconscious Regal with a few swift elbows to the side of his head. The official tried to pull Ohno away, prompting more officials to hit the ring and do the same. The medical team quickly entered the scene to check on Regal, who remained motionless. Ohno made his way up the entrance ramp, a sadistic smile lighting up his face. Returning to the feed in the arena, Renee Young stated that the I Quit match for the NXT Championship next week will certainly not be for the faint of heart. "Before we wrap things up here on the Best of 2012 edition of NXT, we believe that the General Manager, Ricardo Rodriguez, has a huge announcement to make," said Tony Dawson. Backstage, Ricardo was shown with an envelope in his hands. "Before I make this announcement, I want to bring someone to join me for it. Big E...." he said before Big E Langston entered the scene. "I'm sure you know what this is about," said Ricardo as Big E was all smiles, saying that he was made aware of this announcement late last night. "Throughout 2012, I had the pleasure of watching Damien Sandow, Seth Rollins and Paige all make the jump to the WWE's main roster, and to kick off 2013, I will be sending another superstar to the big leagues. In this envelope, Big E, is an official SmackDown contract for you," said Ricardo before handing the contract over to Big E, who was nearly in tears. Big E said that this was something that he had been working for his entire career, and to start off 2013 by finally obtaining a contract, it doesn't get any better than that. "I will never forget any of this. I will never forget NXT, the fans that pack Full Sail University every week, and everything else about this place. I love NXT, it's my home and I will be sure to do the brand proud over on SmackDown," he said. Big E hugged Ricardo before staring at the contract, bringing the Best of 2012 edition of NXT to a close.

I can't wait because this was not only the first NXT of 2013 but this Friday on Smackdown marks the first Smackdown show of 2013 and since we already know it will be Dean Ambrose defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Y2J Chris Jericho I wonder what other matches we will see on the card and I wonder if we will see any more superstars declare themselves for the Rumble?

Liked your 2012 PPV archive, great touch. NXT was a nice little show too and Big E to Smack Down was the right call.
Now Raw...
HHH/Bray was well written, your Bray was class! While it was well written I left confused and I'm not even sure why? I enjoyed reading it and the attack on Flair plus the fact it started and ended Raw made it feel special and enhanced the Wyatt's.
Rest of Raw was a nice little show ahead of the bigger show next week.
Rollins had a nice segment with Heyman and was booked well in the tag match. I thought Punk/Barrett was set for Rumble my mistake.
You have booked Evan Bourne a bit weird seems like he will be playing the Spud role. Batemen is one to keep an eye on.
Still to early to predict who's going to win the Rumble I would assume Rock at this point only because no one else seems set up too.
Looking forward to Smack Down which is on fire at the minute and next weeks Raw should be a big one

January 4th, 2013 - Richmond, VA Royal Rumble is live in four weeks on Pay-Per-View!
The first edition of Friday Night SmackDown in 2013 opened up with a video package to recap the events of last week’s chaotic show. With no God’s Gifts members in sight, new World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler granted a title opportunity to the superstar who he believed deserved it most, Daniel Bryan. Ziggler and Bryan’s epic showdown was interrupted by God’s Gifts, all four members viciously assaulting the two of them. WWE Tag Team Champions, Wrestling Royalty, were also on the receiving end of the beat down after an attempt to make the save. Cody Rhodes would eventually deliver a Piledriver to Ziggler, grasping the World Heavyweight Title that was once his. Cutting to the arena, Tony Chimel introduced God’s Gifts to a massive amount of heat. John Bradshaw Layfield, Cody Rhodes, Alberto Del Rio, Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow stood in the ring as JBL began to speak. “At the tail end of 2012, SmackDown became the ‘A’ show of the WWE, and it is all thanks to these four gentlemen standing before you, as well as myself. We have given you quality matches. We’ve given you shows to write home about. Hell, we even brought the Bragging Rights trophy to this brand! Yet for some reason, we remain the most disrespected unit in WWE history. It’s not just you morons, the WWE Universe, who revolt against us, but so does the locker room. Not a single superstar back there appreciates what I have done with this place ever since I was named the interim General Manager!” Cody Rhodes then began to speak, saying that along with what JBL has done for SmackDown, the world needs to recognize what he did for the World Heavyweight Championship. “Because of me, the World Heavyweight Title became the title to own in the WWE. I restored prestige to it like no one before me. I defeated a plethora of top stars. Randy Orton, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, the list goes on and on. Not to mention that I single handedly ended the career of a first ballot Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle.” Rhodes continued on, saying that when Dolph Ziggler “stole” the World Title from him two weeks ago, he didn’t know what to think anymore. “Was all of my hard work just going to be flushed down the toilet because Dolph Ziggler got lucky? Dammit, I am the ‘Prince of Pro Wrestling!’ I am the greatest professional wrestler alive today! And I will be World Champion again when I invoke my rematch clause at the Royal Rumble!” Suddenly, Rhodes and the rest of God’s Gifts were interrupted by the entrance music of the World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler. However, the “Show Off” was not alone as he was accompanied by Daniel Bryan and the WWE Tag Team Champions, Wrestling Royalty. Ziggler first thanked Rhodes for the gash on his forehead that required stitches. “It’s whatevs, though. The wound will heal, but something that I don’t will heal, Cody, is the amount of distress that I caused you when I became the World Heavyweight Champion,” Ziggler. Rhodes began to shout at him, Cesaro and Sandow having to calm him down and hold him back. Ziggler continued on, saying that this whole situation is really funny when you think about it. “JBL, when you became the interim General Manager, you said something to the locker room. I believe you assured the talent that you would not become SmackDown’s version of Brad Maddox. Now look at you. You have a unit of superstars standing behind you. You tried your absolute hardest to keep the gold around the waist of your chosen champion, and now, when a couple of fearless competitors stand up against you, what do you do? You start a war that you can’t win.” JBL was irate, yelling at Ziggler not to compare him to that ingrate, Maddox. “You’re right, JBL. You might actually be worse than Maddox, because at least with him……” said Ziggler before pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket. “……the Board of Directors didn’t decide to do his job for him,” he said. JBL and God’s Gifts were confused as to what the paper was before Daniel Bryan gave them a bit of news. “Until Teddy Long returns, you are the interim General Manager, JBL. That won’t be taken away from you indefinitely, but it will be taken away for one night,” said Bryan as the audience popped. “Next week, when SmackDown is live on Thursday, you will not be in charge because the Board of Directors were kind enough to book your show for you,” said Bryan, causing JBL to throw his cowboy hat out to ringside in anger. Bryan then looked at the paper, telling Cody Rhodes not to become too comfortable with the idea of challenging for the World Title at the Royal Rumble. “Last week, my opportunity at the title was ruined by the five of you. So next week, I have the chance to get it back because Rhodes and I will go one on one, and his title shot at the Rumble will be on the line!” Rhodes was stunned, realizing that he may not even have the chance to regain his title. Ziggler took the microphone, saying that there is a bit of good news for God’s Gifts in all of this, though. “You guys want the World Heavyweight Championship and Tag Team Championships, right? Well, you’re in luck because next week, you all can kill two birds with one stone. Alberto, Sandow and Cesaro will take on Wrestling Royalty and myself, but it won’t just be any match. You see, we’re going to take these three titles and hang them high above the ring, all while being allowed to batter each other with three specific objects – Tables, ladders and chairs!” The WWE Universe erupted at the announcement as Del Rio, Cesaro and Sandow all had mixed emotions. Ted DiBiase then said that while that is all next week, tonight is still up in the air. "Two weeks ago, Joe and I competed against Cesaro and Sandow. Tonight, we want the other half of God's Gifts. So, Cody and Alberto, we'll see you two later," he said before handing the mic over to Ziggler. "That leaves room for myself and Bryan against either one of you, Cesaro and Sandow. So make your selection," said the World Champion before he, Bryan and Wrestling Royalty talked among themselves, God's Gifts doing the same angrily. A few moments later, Bryan marched down to the ring while all God's Gifts members other than Sandow exited the ring, making it clear what our opening contest would be. DANIEL BRYAN DEF. DAMIEN SANDOWReturning to SmackDown, Bryan and Sandow's match had already began the latter had his opponent in a rest hold. The commentary trio of Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Mathews discussed the huge announcements made just now pertaining to next week's edition of SmackDown. Bryan will take on Cody Rhodes in a match where the winner will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. And speaking of the World Title, it will be on the line along with the WWE Tag Team Championships in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match pitting Dolph Ziggler and Wrestling Royalty against Alberto Del Rio, Antonio Cesaro and one of the men competing at the moment, Damien Sandow. In the end, Bryan was able to counter the Terminus into the Yes! Lock, forcing Sandow to submit. The audience in Richmond erupted for Bryan's win as he stood to his feet, initiating a "Yes!" chant will all of the WWE Universe members in attendance. Daniel Bryan picks up momentum heading into next week, where he will battle Cody Rhodes for the right to challenge the World Heavyweight Champion at the Royal Rumble. Backstage, Matt Striker was standing by with the Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose. Striker asked Ambrose for his thoughts heading into tonight's title defense against Chris Jericho. Ambrose said that he fails to see why this is an even a contest in the eyes of most people. "Chris Jericho has overstayed his welcome in my world. He is nothing more than an old, washed up shell of his former self. A former that maybe, just maybe, could have contested with Dean Ambrose, but that isn't the reality. The reality is that I am SmackDown's prime star. I am the 'Diamond in the Rough,' and most importantly, the Intercontinental Champion. Jericho is in over his head if he thinks that he's got one more reign left in him. No, that's just stupid. Tonight, reality hits Jericho the moment that my knee does and I retain the Intercontinental Title."
Returning to Friday Night SmackDown, the commentators quickly recapped the opening segment that we saw earlier in the evening that featured two huge announcements pertaining to next week. Michael Cole gave the viewers at home clarification as to what exactly is at stake the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match pitting Dolph Ziggler and Wrestling Royalty against Alberto Del Rio, Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow. If the three members of God's Gifts win, then Del Rio will become the new World Heavyweight Champion, while Cesaro and Sandow will end Wrestling Royalty's historic WWE Tag Team Championship reign. KAITLYN W/ TAMINA AND ALICIA FOX DEF. NAOMIDue to Paige's promise that she will be here tonight on SmackDown, Kaitlyn had Tamina and Alicia Fox act as her "backup" in the event that the Divas Champion chose this moment to strike. Chants of, "We want Paige!" filled the arena as Kaitlyn looked over her shoulder numerous times. After sliding underneath a Rear End attempt from Naomi, Kaitlyn drilled her with a Spear to grab the victory. Kaitlyn stood to her feet as she had her arm raised high, the WWE Universe showering her with boos. Momentarily, the audience's reaction shifted into enormous cheers as Divas Champion Paige entered from the crowd, taking Kaitlyn down! Paige was able to get a few strikes in on her Royal Rumble opponent before Tamina and Alicia Fox intervened, pulling her away. The two of them grabbed Paige by her arms, giving Kaitlyn the opening to escape. Paige was able to break free, hitting both Tamina and Fox with elbows. Paige then struck Fox with a headbutt before doing the same to Tamina, following that up with a Paige Turner! The Divas Champion looked around for Kaitlyn, screaming with rage when she realized that she had lost her. Paige then shoved Fox into a corner, stomping on her repeatedly. The official for the previous match tried to calm Paige down and restrain her, but he was met with a kick below the belt. During that, Fox attempted to crawl away from the scene, but Paige pulled her into the center of the ring, applying a Scorpion Crosslock. Paige shouted Kaitlyn's name as she had Fox in the excruciatingly painful hold, releasing her seconds later. The Divas Champion stormed up the entrance ramp, leaving behind carnage as a result of her desire to deliver punishment to the number one contender, Kaitlyn.
A promo was shown for next Monday's edition of RAW. In what is set to be one of the biggest RAWs of all time, CM Punk will put the WWE Championship on the line against Wade Barrett in a Steel Cage match. Plus, John Cena takes on Seth Rollins, and The Rock makes his return. What will the "Great One" have to say to the WWE Universe three weeks before he competes in his first Royal Rumble match in twelve years? RAW, live next Monday on USA. NON-TITLE MATCH: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DOLPH ZIGGLER DEF. ANTONIO CESAROA fantastic match between two of SmackDown's best in-ring competitors to round out the first hour of television. Much like the Bryan and Sandow match earlier, there was no interference on the part of either God's Gifts or the "crusaders." As Cesaro was going for the Swiss Death Uppercut, Ziggler was able to counter it into a DDT. As Cesaro staggered to his feet, the World Heavyweight Champion found the opening that he needed to deliver the Zig Zag for the victory. The audience popped for Ziggler as he stood to his feet, retrieving the World Heavyweight Championship as he raised it high in the air. Both Ziggler and Daniel Bryan have scored victories of God's Gifts members here tonight, leaving it up to the WWE Tag Team Champions, Wrestling Royalty, to do the same later on against Cody Rhodes and Alberto Del Rio. Backstage in the office of John Bradshaw Layfield, he and the rest of God's Gifts were shown watching in disappointment after Antonio Cesaro's loss. Suddenly, the door slammed open as Divas Champion Paige walked in. "Give me Kaitlyn" she said to JBL before Damien Sandow tried to keep her away. "Ma'am, Mr. Layfield is currently occupied with other orders of business. If you could please exit the office at this time and return at a later-" said Sandow before Paige shouted, "Get out of my face!" JBL told Paige that he was actually glad to see her after her actions earlier tonight. "Not only did you wrongfully and brutally assault two of my talents, but you also kicked an official. I will not tolerate any of this and you will be fined," said the interim General Manager. Paige declared that she didn't give a damn about the being fined or how he viewed her actions. "You're going to send Kaitlyn to RAW next Monday so I can face her," said the Divas Champion. After JBL reminded her that their title match isn't until the Royal Rumble, Paige said that the title isn't the issue here. "Kaitlyn made this personal and I am going to get my revenge. The title is on the line at the Royal Rumble, but it won't be on RAW. This is simply about me beating the hell out of her." JBL then told Paige that if a match with Kaitlyn on RAW will calm her down, then fine. She has it. Paige exited the office, not being able to extract her revenge on Kaitlyn tonight, but receiving the chance to do so next Monday on RAW. A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Dean Ambrose defends the Intercontinental Championship against Chris Jericho. That match is still to come on SmackDown!
Returning to SmackDown, Renee Young was standing by with "Y2J," Chris Jericho. She asked him for a response to Dean Ambrose's words from earlier tonight as they prepare to battle for the Intercontinental Championship tonight. Jericho said that Ambrose is persistent in saying that is "old and washed up." "Maybe I should remind Ambrose of a few things. This 'old man' became World Heavyweight Champion almost one year ago and defended it at WrestleMania. This 'old man' defeated you a couple of weeks ago. Most of all, this 'old man' does have what it takes to beat you tonight and become the Intercontinental Champion for a tenth time." Jericho exited the interview set, sending a clear message to Dean Ambrose. "Voices" hit as Randy Orton made his way out to an unusually negative reaction from the WWE Universe. He made his way down to the ring, not caring much for the response. He took a microphone and reminded everyone that it has been four months since he held the World Heavyweight Championship. "For Randy Orton, that is far, far too long of a drought. I can place the blame on anything that I want to. I can blame the Big Show for putting me on the shelf for a bit, I can blame Cody Rhodes for beating me for the title at SummerSlam, but when it all comes down to it, the only person that I have to blame is myself," said Orton. "I blame myself because it finally dawned on me that I lost sight because somehow, I decided to care about each and every single one of you. I cared about what the WWE Universe wanted. You chanted for an RKO, I would give it you. You changed for a punt kick, I would give it you. You people needed a hero, I acted as that, but here's the thing. I am not anyone's hero. I shouldn't be concerned with pleasing all of you. The only person I should be looking out for is myself and I am ashamed to say that it took me this long to realize that. The Randy Orton that you all want would have accepted Sheamus' handshake after our match last week and just walk away. However, the Randy Orton that I need to be gave Sheamus exactly what he had coming to him. Get used to the man that you see before you right now, because in twenty-three days, he is going to win the Royal Rumble match for the second time in his career. Then, I will go on to WrestleMania to regain the World Heavyweight Championship or hell, who knows? Maybe, I will go to RAW and regain the WWE Championship. My point is that sooner than later, I will be exactly where I should be - at the top of the mountain as a champion." Orton put the microphone down as the WWE Universe showered him with boos, though he did not care a single bit. He did his signature pose on the second turnbuckle while the audience's response became noticeably positive. When Orton turned around, he was met with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus! The "Celtic Warrior" stood over Orton, gaining a bit of payback after receiving an RKO last week. A promo was shown for the Royal Rumble, live Sunday January 27th, only on Pay Per View. BIG SHOW DEF. JUSTIN GABRIEL W/ TYSON KIDDA rematch from last week as Justin Gabriel was looking for redemption after Big Show made an example out of him heading into the Royal Rumble match. This time, however, Gabriel had his tag team partner, Tyson Kidd, in his corner. While Gabriel did get a bit more offense in here as opposed to last week, the ultimate result remained the same. Show decimated him towards the end, delivering a Knockout Punch. Show picked Gabriel up to his feet, hitting him with a second one. The "World's Largest Athlete" wanted to connect with a third one, but Kidd wouldn't allow it. He asked the ringside doctor for a towel, throwing it into the ring. The bell sounded as Big Show was declared the winner after Tyson Kidd threw in the towel. "That's enough, Show" said Kidd as Show simply smiled at him. Big Show picked Gabriel up off of the canvas, grabbing his throat and calling for a Chokeslam. That was not to be, however, as Kidd springboarded off of the top rope, catching Show with a Dropkick! The "World's Largest Athlete" fell onto the mat before rolling out of the ring. Show was enraged, his eyes widened as he stared Kidd. Show attempted to make yet another statement for the Royal Rumble match, but in the end, he was simply embarrassed by Tyson Kidd. Backstage, WWE Tag Team Champions Wrestling Royalty were shown walking down a corridor. They meet Cody Rhodes and Alberto Del Rio, next! NON TITLE MATCH: WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS WRESTLING ROYALTY DEF. CODY RHODES AND ALBERTO DEL RIO VIA DISQUALIFICATIONThe final match tonight in the series of battles between God's Gifts and the SmackDown "crusaders." The commentary unit mentioned that with Wrestling Royalty not being scheduled for another title defense until next Friday, DiBiase and Hennig are guaranteed to become the third longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in history. With both Damien Sandow and Antonio Cesaro suffering defeat throughout the show, the last thing that God's Gifts needed heading into next week's massive show was for both Rhodes and Del Rio to receive the same fate. After DiBiase delivered Dream Street to Del Rio, Cesaro and Sandow stormed into the ring, attacking him and causing the disqualification finish. A resounding amount of boos emerged as all four members of God's Gifts were soon on the attack against Wrestling Royalty. However, the tide changed when Daniel Bryan and the World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler, hit the ring. They took the fight to God's Gifts as DiBiase and Hennig got to their feet, all four of them taking John Bradshaw Layfield's unit out of the ring. Rhodes, Del Rio, Sandow and Cesaro backed up the entrance ramp while the faces stood tall in the ring, Bryan leading a massive "Yes!" chant. A graphic was shown for the Intercontinental Championship match between Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho. It finally takes place next on SmackDown!
Following the commercial break, the commentators spoke about next week's edition of SmackDown while graphics for the matches were shown. In a bout that was just announced, Randy Orton will go one on one with Sheamus. Cody Rhodes puts his Royal Rumble World Heavyweight Championship match on the line against Daniel Bryan. Finally, both the World Heavyweight and WWE Tag Team Championships will be on the line in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Dolph Ziggler and Wrestling Royalty defend against Alberto Del Rio, Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow. If the challengers are victorious, Del Rio will receive the World Heavyweight Title while Cesaro and Sandow will claim the Tag Team Titles. It all takes place next week on SmackDown! INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: DEAN AMBROSE DEF. CHRIS JERICHOThe match that the WWE Universe had been waiting for for weeks now. Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho were finally going to settle their rivalry with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. Several nearfalls came as the audience chanted, "This is awesome!" towards the bout's conclusion. Jericho was able to hit the Codebreaker, but Ambrose rolled out of the ring. This cost Jericho valuable as he rolled Ambrose back into the ring. However, as he was sliding into the ring, Ambrose charged towards him and delivered a Knee Trembler to capture the victory and retain the gold. The audience began to boo as Dean Ambrose was handed the Intercontinental Championship, which he clutched to his chest. Jericho stirred to his feet, holding his head while staring at Ambrose, knowing that he failed to live up to his word. Ambrose raised the Intercontinental Title on the stage, the "Diamond in the Rough" bringing the first edition of SmackDown in 2013 to a close.

A good opening promo between God's Gifts and everybody else. Some good matches set up for later on tonight and a huge match made for next week. Good choice with Daniel Bryan and Damien Sandow in the opening contest with Bryan being the right choice to win. Kaitlyn beating Naomi was obvious here and Paige's attack but fail to get Kaitlyn was a good touch afterward, as this Diva's feud is actually something worth giving a damn about. Good first hour main event with Dolph Ziggler getting the win over Antonio Cesaro. Even as a fan of Cesaro, it is obvious that the World Heavyweight Champion would and should have won this won. Paige is going crazy, damn it! Going crazy! I love how Damien Sandow got punked like a bitch by her, too. Paige and Kaitlyn will obviously go to a faulty ending on Raw, though. At least, I would assume that. Decent promo from Randy Orton, although he doesn't seem to give that much of a damn about the crowd heel or face. Boom, negative criticism on you RyRy. Deal with it. #Batista. Anyway, a feud between Orton and Sheamus should be interesting and good. Big Show beating Justin Gabriel comes as no surprise, but Tyson Kidd attacking him does. I guess it gives them all something to do leading up to the Royal Rumble in a few weeks, though. Cody Rhodes and Alberto Del Rio getting disqualified is fine, I 'spose. I would ahve liked to seen them get a victory for God's Gifts tonight but them getting DQed doesn't really hurt them. Looking forward to the big stuff going down next week. Finally, putting Ambrose and Jericho in the main event is huge and a nice victory for Ambrose over the veteran to establish himself further. Perhaps 2013 can be a big year for him. A good show overall.

- God's Gifts opening up Smackdown the first Smackdown of 2013, I loved it because God's Gifts they remind me so much of The Horsemen in the sense that JBL reminds me sort of like JJ Dillon, Cody Rhodes reminds me so much of a 1980s era Nature Boy Ric Flair, Cesaro and Sandow remind me so much of a 1980s era Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard, and Del Rio is like the Barry Windham or the Lex Luger of the group because God's Gifts they have been a great unit ever since they came on to the scene and yes they aren't getting the respect they deserve but if they want that then they are going to have to make an even bigger impact on this show and the way of doing that is not only winning titles but taking superstars out
- What an announcement for next week's Smackdown, Ziggler putting his World Heavyweight Championship on the line and Wrestling Royalty putting up their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line and all in the same match against Del Rio, Sandow and Cesaro, in Tables, Ladders and Chairs, talk about epic, just wow I can't believe it
- Next week Bryan vs Rhodes #1 Contender's Match for the World Heavyweight Championship and whoever wins this match goes on to the Rumble to face the World Heavyweight Champion, talk about epic again, I can't wait for Smackdown next week
- Bryan beating God's Gifts member Damien Sandow was the right call most definitely if you ask me
- Kaitlyn beating Naomi like it was ever in doubt? Paige trying to get to Kaitlyn but Kaitlyn obviously getting away I would definitely say Kaitlyn is afraid of Paige she is afraid of what Paige would do to her and will do to her at the Rumble but Paige has snapped, I wouldn't want to be any diva that is in the locker room right now especially with Paige on the loose she has gone crazy but Kaitlyn she has made this personal
- Dolph Ziggler the World Heavyweight Champion going over God's Gifts member Antonio Cesaro was the right call again I mean Dolph is the champion after all and if he had lost this match to Cesaro then his credibility his momentum as champion would all be for naught especially because next week he has a huge title defense but Cesaro more or less took the World Heavyweight Champion to the limit
- Paige punking out God's Gifts namely Damien Sandow was funny as hell, I was laughing my ass off at that but then JBL obviously not wanting to deal with Paige wanting to get rid of her gives her what she wants, Paige vs Kaitlyn this Monday on the 20th Anniversary of RAW, I am calling it, this match will somehow end up either in a double countout, double DQ or some type of shotty finish but either way I am looking forward to it
- Randy Orton completing his heel turn, I love it, I love Randy Orton as a heel and I love him as The Viper of old, the one who does not care one iota about the fans or who does not care about other superstars the Viper who only cares about himself and winning championship gold, he needs to be that Orton again, the Orton who injures people putting them on the shelf with his patented Punt, the Orton who just puts people on the shelf in general, he needs to be the cold, ruthless emotionless Viper of old and with Orton's talk about winning the Rumble for the 2nd time in his career talking about the Rumble for weeks on end Orton may be my pick, he may be my guy to win this and I for one hope that he does
- But Sheamus like a coward from behind attacks Orton, you can bet Orton will return the favor on RAW 20
- Big Show just destroying Gabriel again for the 2nd week in a row comes as no surprise because Big Show ever since returning he has been dominant and what better way for him to show his dominance off than by picking on superstars smaller than he is? Tyson Kidd sure has some guts attacking Big Show like that but I can see Big Show sending another message to the 29 other superstars who will be in the Rumble Match with him by destroying Kidd
- WWE Tag Team Champions Wrestling Royalty DiBiase & Hennig beating God's Gifts members former World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes and Del Rio, that should be a massive victory for DiBiase and Hennig heading into next week's Smackdown when they have to defend their titles next week in TLC along with Dolph having to defend his title also in TLC but God's Gifts losing by DQ yes it doesn't really hurt them but then Del Rio and Rhodes attacking DiBiase and Hennig and then Cesaro and Sandow joining in only for Ziggler, and Bryan to make the save was great
- Ambrose vs Jericho in the main event to close out Smackdown, the first Smackdown of 2013, for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in the main event and Ambrose going over Jericho to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship, I will say this ever since Ambrose has won back the WWE Intercontinental Championship he has pretty much taken on all comers and he has beaten them one by one with Jericho almost beating him but not quite getting it done, this just solidifies Ambrose as a future main eventer not only in this diary but in this business
- Overall this show for me anyway on a scale of 1 to 10, definite 20 in my opinion that is how great it was

This Monday on RAW, the first RAW of 2013, RAW looks to be jam packed because like I said before and I will keep saying it again this is the 20th Anniversary of Monday Night RAW, RAW 20, 20 years of RAW history, 20 years that RAW has been on the air and it seems for RAW 20 you are going all out for it because just look at the matches alone for RAW 20
CM Punk (c) vs Wade Barrett for the WWE Championship inside a 15 foot high Steel Cage no doubt that will be the main event that closes out the show, then you have Seth Rollins vs John Cena, Triple H The COO The Game The Cerebral Assassin The King of Kings taking on Wyatt Family patriarch Bray Wyatt one on one, Paige vs Kaitlyn, and then you also have The Rock in attendance for RAW 20
And no doubt we will see legends, current divas, current superstars, past superstars, past divas, and Hall of Famers the whole nine yards everyone will probably return on this show even people who we won't expect will probably return like Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, of course our RAW GM "Naitch" The Nature Boy Ric Flair WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Cody Rhodes' father The American Dream Dusty Rhodes, Ted DiBiase's father The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, Sr. among others
Hell I wouldn't be surprised if Vince, Stephanie, Shane, and or Linda McMahon all make their returns on RAW 20 in the same night
Or even The Undertaker for that matter showing up on RAW 20 or even The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar showing up on RAW 20

This past Friday, Zeb Colter took to Twitter to make an announcement regarding next Monday's edition of RAW. "After @realjackswagger takes out @therealrvd this Monday on #RAW, I will proudly welcome another Real American to our camp. #WeThePeople," read his tweet. It would appear that Colter will be managing another superstar, though there is no word yet on who it may be.
WWE has seemingly pulled out all of the stops to make this week of television one of the most packed and memorable in history. Here is a reminder for everything that will be taking place on RAW, SmackDown and NXT this week.
Monday Night RAW (3-hour special) - CM Punk vs. Wade Barrett in a Steel Cage match for the WWE Championship- Triple H vs. Bray Wyatt - John Cena vs. Seth Rollins - Divas Champion Paige vs. Kaitlyn in a non-title match - Jack Swagger vs. Rob Van Dam for the United States Championship - The Miz vs. Roman Reigns - The return of The Rock - The introduction of Zeb Colter's new "Real American"
NXT on ION Television - Kassius Ohno vs. William Regal in an I Quit match for the NXT Championship - Corey Graves and Jake Carter vs. Richie Steamboat and Bo Rotundo for the NXT Tag Team Championships - Raquel Diaz vs. Emma in the NXT Women's Championship tournament finals
Friday Night SmackDown - Dolph Ziggler and Wrestling Royalty vs. Alberto Del Rio, Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the World Heavyweight and WWE Tag Team Championships - Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan in a #1 Contenders match - Randy Orton vs. Sheamus
Several readers from the New Orleans area have sent us word that advertisements currently airing for WWE Battleground on February 17th mention the return of the WarGames match. That would explain why the event was chosen to replace Elimination Chamber, which had become a pre-WrestleMania tradition over the past couple of years.

Kurt Angle vs Daniel Bryan at Hell in a Cell making 2012's Match of the Year, I can agree with that and why? Because their match at Hell In A Cell was not only epic but in a sense it was like a "passing of the torch" the past taking on the present but also both men being submission specialists both men putting on a wrestling clinic both have similarities to each other I guess that is why I could see why their rematch at Hell in a Cell was number 1 on your list because their series of matches to be honest were not only great but a shining example of what true ring chemistry is
As for Zeb Colter bringing in another Real American to manage, I wonder just who it will be? Because he would obviously be managing both his new guy and Swagger so with that said I wonder if Swagger and this new guy of Zeb's if they will be a tag team as well?
Battleground still replacing Elimination Chamber, I will never understand why you would do that but you know what? It's your diary entirely your choice so I will try to respect it, in fact you know what I actually will respect it but that doesn't mean that I agree with your decision because I thought Elimination Chamber itself as a pay per view on the road to WrestleMania was perfect and why? Because it gives superstars a 2nd chance to main event Mania after failing in the Rumble Match
But nevertheless I could see why you would go all out next week because on RAW you have the 20th Anniversary episode of RAW so I am sure you want to go all out for RAW in the sense of having returns galore from not only legends, divas, and or superstars but Hall of Famers too to really make RAW 20 exciting
NXT I am actually looking forward to this week to be perfectly honest especially Ohno defending his title against Regal in an I Quit Match, talk about perfect main event
And Smackdown itself, TLC is the match-up I am looking most forward to especially because the Rumble is so close and not to mention Rhodes vs Bryan #1 Contender's Match for the World Heavyweight Championship I can't wait for that, I can see Kurt Angle making a shocking return costing Cody Rhodes his match against Daniel Bryan as revenge for Rhodes nearly ending Angle's career with that Piledriver
Randy Orton vs Sheamus too on Smackdown I am also looking forward to believe it or not because whoever wins this match could very well be the favorite or one of the favorites to win the 2013 Royal Rumble Match

January 7th, 2013 - Tampa, FL Royal Rumble is live in three weeks on Pay-Per-View!
After the WWE signature intro, a video package was shown with Black Veil Brides' “New Year’s Day” playing over it. Tonight, the WWE Universe will witness one of the most action-packed episodes of Monday Night RAW in history. Seth Rollins will receive the chance to cement himself as one of the brand’s major players when he takes on the man he screwed out of the WWE Championship, John Cena. Zeb Colter prepares for a busy evening as Jack Swagger defends the United States Championship against Rob Van Dam, and along with that, Colter has promised to introduce the world to another “Real American.” Before Paige and Kaitlyn compete for the Divas Championship at the Royal Rumble, the two will meet later on tonight in a non-title match. The Miz will have the chance to extract revenge when he meets his former tag team partner and Maddox Administration member, Roman Reigns. Bray Wyatt has promised to “claim the kingdom” when he meets Triple H in “The Game’s” first match on RAW in a year. Finally, the WWE Championship is on the line in a Steel Cage match. CM Punk defends against Wade Barrett. Who will start of 2013 with a bang? A historic edition of Monday Night RAW starts now! Cutting directly to the arena here in Tampa, the theme song of The Rock hit as the WWE Universe came unglued. The “Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment” made his way out to the stage, marching down to the ring for the first time since Survivor Series. He stood in the center of the ring as chants of, “Rocky!” filled the arena. “Finally…….The Rock has come back to Tampa!” he said to another massive ovation. “Six months ago at RAW 1000, The Rock made a promise to the world that he would lace up his boots and compete in the Royal Rumble match. Now, we are just three weeks away and The Rock is making another promise. The line up thus far for the match is no joke. I mean, look at the names. Big Show, Sheamus, Randy Orton, hell, even Kaitlyn is in the Royal Rumble, and she dyed her hair back just for the occasion!” said The Rock to a bit of confusion. “Oh, wait, that’s Seth Rollins?” he then asked as the crowd chuckled. “On a serious note, it’s no secret that The Rock did not have a tremendous 2012. First, The Rock was beaten by that hypocrite, John Cena,” he said as the audience mostly booed at the mention of Cena. “Ooh, look at me. Hustle, loyalty, respect, hit The Rock with a chair and take the low road,” sad Rock in a mocking voice. “And then at Survivor Series, The Rock should have known that the same thing was going to happen when he went up against CM Punk. All that’s on The Rock’s mind right now is revenge, so he is going to make something crystal clear to those two jabronis. John Cena, you’re in The Rock’s Royal Rumble. You can bet your candy ass that The Rock is going to put his boot to your ass and throw you over the top rope! CM Punk, I honestly hope that you remain the WWE Champion heading into WrestleMania, because then, The Rock would have the opportunity of a lifetime to not only beat your skinny little ass, but the ‘Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment’ would stand tall as the WWE Champion on the grandest stage of them all! If you smell…….” said The Rock before he was interrupted by the arrival of Derrick Bateman and his Entourage of Evan Bourne and Maxine. Bateman told The Rock that this might be a first-time ever for him. “I’m not sure if you have ever been in the ring with someone who is a bigger star than yourself,” said Bateman. “………Who in the blue hell are you?” asked The Rock. “Certainly you’re joking, Rock. Still, I’ll go ahead and properly introduce myself. My name is-““It doesn’t matter what your name is!” shouted The Rock as the roof nearly came off of the arena. The Rock then told Bateman that he actually does know who he is. “Yeah, Derrick Bateman. You’re that cat who got rich all of a sudden and thinks that his crap doesn’t stink,” said Rock. Evan Bourne then took the microphone, telling the “Great One” that he needs to show Bateman more respect. “What are you, like, his servant or something? Do you call him ‘Master Bateman?’” asked The Rock, which enraged the whole Entourage and amused the WWE Universe. A chant of “Master Bateman” broke out before The Rock said that he wants to see the trending topics on Twitter in a few minutes. “But hey, check this out. The Rock is done talking to you two asshats,” he said before staring at Maxine. “Hey, mama. How you doin’? You want to be in a movie with The Rock?” he asked, causing Maxine to gag. Bateman shouted at The Rock, telling him that he and his Entourage didn’t come out here to just be berated by him. “Well then you should have known better,” said Rock. Bateman told him that the reason he came out here was to personally put him on notice. “If I were you, or any of the other participants in the Royal Rumble match for that matter, I wouldn’t go about making plans for WrestleMania just yet. That’s because there is only one man who can guarantee victory in the Rumble, and you’re looking at him,” said Bateman to a chorus of boos. Rock responded by telling Bateman that despite him being such an annoying turd over the past few minutes, he can respect someone's confidence. "You're out here with your little Entourage consisting of your boy toy and a high class hooker," he said as Maxine shouted at him. "What? I said high class," he added before turning his attention back to Bateman. He told him that he wasn't going to get his hands dirty and damage Bateman's $60 rented suit. The physicality will come at the Royal Rumble in the event that they happen to be in the ring at the same time. "But, The Rock will do this," he said before grabbing Evan Bourne and planting him with a Rock Bottom! The crowd roared as Bateman and Maxine exited the ring, both furious over The Rock's actions. "Now, as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted.......if you smell.......what The Rock....is.......cooking." The Rock posed in the ring for a bit as the commentary unit quickly ran down some of what is scheduled for tonight. CM Punk defends the WWE Championship against Wade Barrett in a Steel Cage match. Triple H and Bray Wyatt go one one. Paige and Kaitlyn meet in a non-title match just three weeks before their Divas Championship bout at the Royal Rumble. "This has all of the potential in the world to be the greatest Monday Night RAW in history!" said Jerry "The King" Lawler. As The Rock was making his way up the entrance ramp, the theme of John Cena hit to a mixed reaction. Cena stepped out onto the stage, coming face to face with The Rock for the first time since the night after WrestleMania XXVIII. No words were spoken, but the tension was as high as it has ever been between the two of them. Rock slowly walked towards the backstage area before Cena ran down to the ring, ready to do battle with Seth Rollins in our opening contest. JOHN CENA DEF. SETH ROLLINS
Perhaps the best possible way to kick off RAW in 2013 as John Cena and Seth Rollins put on an absolute classic. The WWE Universe was split right down the middle, reacting heavily to every near fall. When Cena attempted to hit a leg drop off of the top rope, Rollins countered it and Cena fell into a Powerbomb, giving RAW’s newest star an extremely close two count. Rollins then went for the Blackout, but Cena got a hold of his leg and applied the STF! Rollins struggled to reach the ropes, but was eventually able to do so. Cena tried to pull him back into the center of the ring, but Rollins kicked him in the kneecap. Cena fell onto one knee, which gave Rollins the opening to connect with Avada Kedavra. He got the cover, but once again, Cena managed to kick out. “This is awesome!” chants rang throughout the arena as Rollins lifted Cena into position for a Powerbomb, sending him spine-first into the turnbuckles. He then ran the ropes, but Cena surprised him by hoisting him up onto his shoulders, delivering the Attitude Adjustment to finally put him away. A mixture of cheers and boos emerged from the audience as Cena stood to his feet, throwing his arms into the air after an incredibly hard fought victory. Several highlights of the match were shown while the commentators put over the performance of both men. "Seth Rollins may not have gotten the victory, but there is no denying that he proved that he can hang with the best here on RAW," said Michael Cole. Cena made his way up the stage, looking back at Rollins and nodding as if he was saying, "You earned my respect, kid." Backstage, Triple H was shown in the locker room area taping his fists while speaking to his wife, Stephanie McMahon. "Hunter, you know that you don't have to compete against Bray Wyatt, right?" she asked. Triple h responded by telling her that after everything that has happened over the past few weeks, he does have to. "Bray Wyatt started a war that he can't win when he attacked me. Then last week, he tried to send a message by laying out Ric Flair, one of my closest friends in this industry. Bray wants to talk about claiming the kingdom? Whatever that means, it ends tonight," said a very focused "King of Kings." A graphic was shown for the WWE Championship Steel Cage match later on tonight between CM Punk and Wade Barrett. Who will escape as the WWE Champion?
Returning to RAW, Derrick Bateman and Maxine were shown walking around backstage, furious over their encounter with The Rock earlier in the evening. "It's fine, because at the Royal Rumble, I will be the one to eliminate The Rock," said Bateman. "Oh, really? Will you? Because you sure did a lot to keep Evan safe earlier," said Maxine. Bateman said that it isn't even a big deal. Bourne will be fine. "The point is that.....what are you looking at?" asked Bateman as we saw Kaitlyn approach the two of them. "Some things never change. Hearing you two bicker brings back so many painful, painful memories," said Kaitlyn before adding that while they argue about The Rock and the Royal Rumble, she will go out there tonight and make a real Royal Rumble statement by beating Paige. "Paige? You mean the girl that you ran away from on SmackDown last week?" asked Maxine before she and Kaitlyn started to argue. Suddenly, Fandango entered the scene. The four of them all stared at each other before Bateman broke the silence with, "This is just weird now. Let's go." Kaitlyn was then left alone with Fandango, who simply stared at her. "No," she said before leaving. UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH ROB VAN DAM DEF. JACK SWAGGERAfter Zeb Colter cost Rob Van Dam the United States Championship two weeks ago, Jack Swagger's manager was banned from ringside for this bout. While Colter prepares to introduce a new "Real American" to the WWE Universe later tonight, his night began on a sour note. Swagger attempted a gutwrench slam from the top rope, but Van Dam was able to retaliate with strikes and kicks. Swagger fell onto the canvas, Van Dam following that up with the Five Star Frog Splash for the victory and the title. The Tampa audience erupted as Van Dam was handed the United States Championship before raising it high in the air. He went out to ringside, slapping the hands of everyone in the front row before placing the title on his shoulder to do his signature taunt. "Mr. Monday Nights" now has gold to his name on the first RAW of 2013! Backstage, Triple H was shown walking down a corridor. He meets Bray Wyatt, next on RAW!
A promo was shown for Wednesday's edition of NXT. Kassius Ohno and William Regal will finally settle the score in an I Quit match for the NXT Championship. NXT, this Wednesday on ION Television. TRIPLE H VS. BRAY WYATT NEVER BEGANTriple H first made his way out to the ring for his first match on RAW in one year. The signature of the Wyatt Family then hit before Bray Wyatt appeared on the screen. "Tampa.....we're here!" The "Eater of Worlds" marched down to the ring with with Kane, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, though it was pointed out by the commentators that it looked like there was someone else with them as screams of, "Let me go!" could be heard. When the lights came back on, Stephanie McMahon was shown to be in the clutches of Rowan and Harper! Triple H instantly slid out of the ring, but he was attacked by Wyatt and Kane. Stephanie was forced to watch as the two stomped away on Triple H before Wyatt threw Hunter to Kane. The "Big Red Monster" lifted Hunter into position for the Tombstone Piledriver, delivering it onto the floor! Stephanie cried and pleaded with The Wyatt Family to let her go as Kane rolled the COO into the ring. "Be proud that your kingdom is evolving!" shouted Wyatt towards Stephanie before entering the ring. Wyatt picked Triple H up off of the canvas, planting him with Sister Abigail! "Curse the liars! Curse the crooked smiles!" said Wyatt before rising to his feet. He nodded to Harper and Rowan, which was their cue to release Stephanie. She quickly stepped into the ring to tend to her fallen husband. As Wyatt and Kane were leaving the ring, the leader of the Wyatt Family suddenly stopped. A smile lit up his face as he turned around. He then grabbed Stephanie by her hair before delivering Sister Abigail to her! The WWE Universe watched in shock and horror as Triple H and Stephanie were motionless on the mat, Bray Wyatt letting out a maniacal laugh. He soon lead his family up the ramp while trainers tended to Hunter and Stephanie.
Returning from the commercial break, a recap of the previous events were as Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler spoke in a subdued tone. After The Wyatt Family assaulted Triple H, Bray Wyatt took things to an entirely new level when he delivered Sister Abigail to Triple H's wife, Stephanie McMahon. Cole said that both Hunter and Stephanie are being taken to a local medical facility and updates will given if provided before the end of the broadcast. ROMAN REIGNS W/ BRAD MADDOX DEF. THE MIZ
The last bit of the Maddox Administration exploded here tonight as former tag team partners waged war. It was mentioned by the commentators that both superstars will be competing in the Royal Rumble match, giving them another opportunity after this to battle it out. After Reigns failed to connect with the Superman Punch, Miz was able to hit him with the Skull Crushing Finale. Shockingly, Reigns managed to kick out! Miz sat in disbelief for a bit thereafter, wondering just what he would have to do in order to put Reigns away. On the outside. Brad Maddox let out a laugh after the kick out, poking fun at Miz. The "Awesome One" quickly wanted to shut Maddox up, coming up behind him delivering a Skull Crushing Finale onto the floor. "Laugh at that," said Miz before rolling back into the ring. Reigns then crashed into Miz with a Spear, covering him with the hook of the leg for the win. Roman Reigns stood to his feet following the sound of the bell, letting out a primal scream as he had just defeated a two-time WWE Champion. He picked the unconscious Maddox up off of the ground, assisting him up the entrance ramp while gloating to the audience about his win. On commentary, Michael Cole stated that he believes that Reigns could be the dark horse candidate to win the Royal Rumble match in three weeks. Backstage, Renee Yong was standing by with John Cena. She asked him for his thoughts after defeating Seth Rollins earlier in the night. Cena said that he went into tonight's match without much respect, but after the fight that he gave him, it was all restored. "Seth Rollins, I thank you for taking me to the limit. The kid is the real deal, despite what I may think of his recent actions toward me. He gained my respect, and I would hope that I gained his. One person who I know does not respect me, though, is Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Before Rollins and I tore the roof off of this place, I came face to face with The Rock for the first time since the night after WrestleMania last year. Tonight, I want to meet The Rock in the ring. If we're both going to be in this year's Royal Rumble match, then I think we need to have a few words," said Cena before leaving the interview set. John Cena will call out The Rock, tonight!
A special thanks was given to the Rolling Stones for "Doom and Gloom." It's one of the official theme songs for the Royal Rumble and is available now on iTunes. RYBACK DEF. FANDANGO
With Fandango declaring himself for the Royal Rumble match, the "Smooth Superstar" was looking to knock off one of the participants who holds a ton of momentum at the moment. Fandango looked to be on the verge of victory until Ryback was able to move out of harm's way during a diving Leg Drop attempt. When Fandango got to his feet, he was hit with a Meathook Clothesline. "Finish it!" shouted Ryback before marching around the ring with Fandango on his shoulders, planting him with Shell Shocked for the win. The audience popped as Ryback stood his feet, pounding his fist into the other hand. He and the WWE Universe shouted, "Feed me more!" in unison as Ryback continues his roll heading into the Royal Rumble. Backstage, Matt Striker was standing by with Wade Barrett. He asked the #1 contender for the WWE Championship for his thoughts about the upcoming Steel Cage match with CM Punk. Barrett said that the last time he and Punk were in a cage with each other, he handcuffed him to the ropes and busted him open with his fists. "If I have to, Punk, I will go to those lengths again if it means reclaiming the WWE Championship. With the Steel Cage surrounding us, there won't be any outside involvement. If you want to escape with the title intact, you're going to have to get through me all on your own." Barrett then left the interview set as we cut back to the arena, where the Steel Cage was shown lowering to the ground. Coming up next, the WWE Championship is on the line!
A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. The World Heavyweight Championship and WWE Tag Team Championships will hang in the balance when Dolph Ziggler and Wrestling Royalty defend their respective titles against Alberto Del Rio, Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Plus, Cody Rhodes and Daniel Bryan compete in a #1 contenders match, and Randy Orton goes one on one with Sheamus. SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy. STEEL CAGE MATCH FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP CM PUNK W/ PAUL HEYMAN DEF. WADE BARRETT
With a 15-foot high Steel Cage surrounding them, this was believed to be the final chapter in the rivalry between CM Punk and Wade Barrett that dates back to when the latter won the 2012 Royal Rumble match. After Barrett hit an Elbow Drop from the top rope, both competitors remained down for a bit. Paul Heyman took that opportunity to grab the key from the official's hand, opening the door and stepping into the ring. He desperately tried to revive Punk, telling the WWE Champion that he needed to get out of the ring. Barrett then noticed Heyman, grabbing him by his collar before throwing him into a corner. Heyman begged with Barrett not to attack him, and his prayers were answered when Punk delivered a low blow to Barrett. The "Best in the World" then delivered the Go To Sleep to Barrett before taking Heyman and himself out of the ring to win the match. Boos emerged from the sea of WWE Universe members as CM Punk was handed back the WWE Championship, he and Paul Heyman celebrating on the outside. Despite the Steel Cage structure surrounding, Heyman was still able to manage to play a role in Wade Barrett's loss. Barrett stared up at the two of them, revenge being the only thing on his mind. Punk raised the WWE Championship high above his head, barely managing to escape with it intact.
Returning to RAW, the commentators mentioned that next week's edition will be another 3-hour special to celebrate RAW's 20th Anniversary, and already announced for the event is a huge match up. John Cena will go one on one with Roman Reigns! NON-TITLE MATCH KAITLYN DEF. DIVAS CHAMPION PAIGE
Before Paige and Kaitlyn meet at the Royal Rumble for the Divas Championship, the "Anti Diva" was able to get a non-title match here tonight after her outrageous actions on SmackDown last Friday. Paige let her aggression get the better of her emotions, nearly being disqualified several times for failing to comply with the official's five count. After she delivered the Paige Turner, the Divas Champion opted not to immediately go for a cover, but to ram Kaitlyn's head into the canvas repeatedly. The official Paige away, who was force to wait for Kaitlyn to get to her feet. When Paige tried to get back on the attack, Kaitlyn caught her with a quick Spear to get the victory. The stunned audience watched as Kaitlyn was declared the winner, defeating the Divas Champion. She then went out to ringside, grabbing the title before sliding back in. She stood over Paige while raising the title, a sign that we very well could see at the Royal Rumble. "If Paige cannot keep her emotions in check, there will be a new Divas Champion in three weeks," said Michael Cole. A graphic was shown for John Cena and The Rock's confrontation later on tonight. WrestleMania XXVIII opponents, and Royal Rumble participants will meet face to face later on RAW!
Returning to the arena, R-Truth was shown in the ring before Zeb Colter made his way out to a chorus of boos. "Let's get one thing straight. Rob Van Dam can celebrate all he wants. Jack Swagger has a rematch clause that will be used effectively. Sooner than later, the United States Championship will be back around the waist of a 'Real American.' Speaking of which, I have said before that tonight, I would welcome another 'Real American' to the camp with Jack Swagger and myself. He is a former WWE Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion and United States Champion. Much like Jack Swagger, this man is also a two-time All American. But most importantly, he is a 'Real American.' Ladies and gentlemen, I ask you all to please stand and welcome back to Monday Night RAW, Shelton Benjamin!" Benjamin's theme hit as he made his way out to the stage to the surprise of the WWE Universe. The "Gold Standard" shook Colter's hand before the two headed down to the ring. SHELTON BENJAMIN W/ ZEB COLTER DEF. R-TRUTH
For the first time in nearly three years, Shelton Benjamin competed in a WWE ring. This time, he had Zeb Colter in his corner after being declared as a 'Real American.' R-Truth gained control of the match later on, but after a failed Axe Kick attempt, Benjamin was able to deliver the Paydirt to get the victory. Shelton Benjamin stood to his feet as Zeb Colter stepped into the ring, raising Benjamin's arm in victory. Both Benjamin and Colter placed their hands over their hearts and shouted, "We the people!" Benjamin makes a successful return to the WWE as one of Zeb Colter's "Real Americans." Backstage, John Cena was shown walking towards the ring. He is prepared to call out The Rock, next on RAW!
A promo was shown for the Royal Rumble, live Sunday January 27th on Pay Per View. Returning to Monday Night RAW, the theme song of John Cena hit to a mixed response from the audience. Cena made his way out to the stage saying, "It's about to get electrifying!" to the camera before running into the ring. Cena took a microphone, saying that he doesn't want to waste any time. "Earlier tonight, I made a challenge to The Rock to meet me in this ring. So, Rock, get out here now," said Cena. A few seconds later, the theme of The Rock blasted to a massive ovation. The "Great One" marched down to the ring, instantly coming face to face with Cena. "Let The Rock made something clear to you, John Cena. He is not out here because you called him out. He's out here because he wants to say a few things to his face." After Cena told Rock to go ahead, he said that not too far from here is a little place called Miami. "At least, that's what is is to most people, but to The Rock, it's home. And in The Rock's home at WrestleMania last year, he was prepared for the fight of his life against a man named John Cena. And what did that pussbag of a man end up doing? He took the low road and hit The Rock with a steel chair to win the match," said Rock to a resounding amount of boos. "What he thinks you fail to understand, John, is that The Rock did have respect for you up until then, but you threw that all out of the window. You were struggling with embracing the hate at the time, and you embraced the crap out of it at WrestleMania. The Rock understands desperation, but you never, and The Rock means never, take the easy way out against another man in his own backyard. One of the reasons that The Rock entered the Royal Rumble match is because he knew that by this point, one of two things would be a reality. Either you would be standing here right now as WWE Champion, or you would be in the Rumble match. Either way, The Rock would be able to get his hands on you one more time and layeth the biggest smack down that the God's green earth has ever seen! The Rock hopes and prays that he and you are in the ring at the same time come January 27th, because then, The Rock will unleash every bit of vengeance that has been built up inside of him ever since WrestleMania." John Cena then told The Rock that he is more than glad to hear that. "That is the Rock that I want to see at the Royal Rumble. A man who has every right to be pissed off, because you're right. I took the low road at WrestleMania and it isn't something that I am proud of. I will have to live the rest of my life knowing that I let the hate get to me on the grandest stage of them all, but that doesn't mean that I cannot redeem myself. I wanted more than anything to beat you again, Rock. This time, fair and square. And I have that opportunity at the Royal Rumble. You and I have won Rumble matches before, and if I'm a betting man, I'd say that history will repeat itself in one of two ways. Either you win, or I win. One of us will become WWE Champion at WrestleMania, and we will have done so by embarrassing the other at the Royal Rumble. Rock, I said that our match at WrestleMania last year was the biggest of my life, and that was true at that time. Now, the biggest match may await me on January 27th. If we are in the ring at the same time, you can bet your ass that my top priority is to throw you over the top rope and go on to WrestleMania XXIX in New Jersey to become the WWE Champion." Cena was then cut off by The Rock, who said that the feeling is mutual. "The second that The Rock lays his eyes on your fruity pebbles ass at the Royal Rumble, he is going to let out all of his frustrations and clear his head on his way to the main event of WrestleMania, where The Rock will become the WWE Champion once again." As Rock and Cena stared at each other, the entrance music of CM Punk hit. The WWE Champion made his way down to the ring, saying that none of this matters. "You two are talking about becoming the WWE Champion. Why don't we talk about the man who actually is the WWE Champion? The man who defeated Wade Barrett in a Steel Cage earlier tonight? The man who will walk into WrestleMania as the WWE Champion, the 'Best in the World,' CM Punk!" Punk then said that the last time he was in the ring with Rock and Cena, he laid them both out. "I could easily do the same right now, but what does that prove? I have already beaten the both of you, something that you can't say, Dwayne. And John, you said a few months ago that you hoped to be the WWE Champion by this point in time. How did that work out for you?" asked Punk. "My point is that I have both of your numbers. If either of you win the Royal Rumble, then you're just going to fall victim to me again. This is my world now, and you two are just in it so I can have the pleasure of watching you both fail." Punk was then about to leave the ring before John Cena pulled him back in, planting him with an Attitude Adjustment! When Cena turned around, he was met with a Rock Bottom! All of a sudden, both Cena and Punk were laid out as Rock scooped up the WWE Championship, posing with it to bring RAW to a close.

Triple H vs Bray Wyatt not starting because the Wyatt Family managed to get to Triple H not only taking him out but also taking out Stephanie too, I wonder if the Wyatts' plan is to take over the WWE? If they are then why not take out the 2 biggest threats to them which are Triple H and Stephanie but I wonder if now because of this if Vince McMahon will make his return next week on RAW 20? Will Vince address the Wyatt Family? I wonder if the Wyatt Family will take out Vince next considering they have already taken out the RAW GM Ric Flair and now Triple H the COO of this company and then his wife Stephanie one of the principal owners of WWE? I wonder if Harper, Rowan, Kane and Bray Wyatt will face any consequences for what they have done
RVD becoming the new WWE United States Champion by beating Jack Swagger, I didn't think that that could happen but seeing it happen, I can't say that I am not surprised because quite frankly I am but Swagger I see him winning the WWE United States Championship back
Shelton Benjamin as the newest "Real American" with Shelton defeating R-Truth, what a shocker, I would have never have anticipated Shelton Benjamin as being a "Real American" but since Shelton is back, since he has returned to the WWE I would say the Real Americans just got stronger if you ask me
Cena and Rock face to face on RAW, definitely loved that, you can tell it will end up being Rock vs Cena II at WrestleMania 29 in some capacity but if I am wrong I can see it being a Triple Threat at WrestleMania 29 for the WWE Championship with Rock vs Cena vs Punk especially after the way RAW ended with these 3 men with Rock standing tall
As for Punk beating Barrett to retain his WWE Championship in the Steel Cage Match, definite first hour main event that was worthy or could be worthy of Match of the Year because it was an absolute classic but I wonder where that leaves Barrett? I could see Barrett competing in the 2013 Royal Rumble Match and considering he won last year's Rumble Barrett could be a favorite to win it back to back
As for John Cena beating Rollins, I can expect Rollins to get his retribution on Cena either next week on RAW 20 or during the Royal Rumble Match by eliminating Cena or attacking Cena at the Rumble
But for Rock and Bateman's segment I couldn't help but laugh
Ryback beating Fandango, Ryback just continues to win and win by beating his opponents from now to the Rumble, Ryback could very well be the favorite to win this because the man has been a machine ever since bursting on to the scene and he shows no signs of slowing down and Ryback could be the man everyone will want to watch out for
And as for Roman Reigns beating The Miz, I would definitely say after that Reigns is definitely another favorite to win the Rumble Match but Reigns he could be so much better if he didn't have Brad Maddox by his side
Kaitlyn beating the WWE Divas Champion Paige, could that be an omen of things to come at the Royal Rumble? Paige's temper getting the better of her, I wonder if Paige can keep her temper in check because if she doesn't then we could be looking at the new WWE Divas Champion but I wonder if this is all mind games because it seems Kaitlyn she has gotten into the head of Paige and because of that she takes advantage getting the victory, what a great move

Woo! I've been waiting for this Raw since I saw the loaded card. I'm pretty excited for this week of shows. Little note, but I love that you always note how many weeks until the next PPV. Big way to kick off with The Rock showing up. I'm really intrigued by what his role at WrestleMania will be. The Kaitlyn/Seth Rollins joke actually made me laugh. I like Rock acknowledging his losses and looking for revenge. Ooh, Derrick Bateman. Oh my god, Master Bateman. I read it and didn't catch it until seeing it a second time. Fantastic. High class hooker! Pure gold. The whole opening promo. I've never written this much about an opening segment. John Cena and Seth Rollins is the best choice for an opener. Avada Kedavra! Harry f'n Potter! Awesome opener and the right man won, but Rollins looked legit which is important. Stephanie being concerned about Triple H helps to make Bray Wyatt seem like a huge threat. Funny stuff with Kaitlyn, Fandango, Maxine and Bateman. A title change on this show is good, I expected it because Jack Swagger will most likely be getting a tag team partner. A young guy besting Rob Van Dam could boost their career down the road. You continue to have Bray Wyatt down perfectly. Awesome segment, surprised they hit Stephanie with Sister Abigail as THATS NOT PG! I liked it though. Good to have the new year signal the last piece of the Maddox Administration, and Roman Reigns with the win was the obvious call. Rock/Cena confrontation? Even more big stuff on this show. Ryback continues to look like a big deal going into the Rumble and you have a lot of guys who I could see winning, which is always great. The huge TLC match on Smackdown is something I'm stoked for. Paul Heyman getting involved was perfect and I'm glad CM Punk retained. Excited to see what he does at WrestleMania. Both men, actually. Another 3 hour show next week!? I can't handle this. Cena vs. Reigns! Surprised to see Kaitlyn vs. Paige before their Royal Rumble match. Love the story of Paige being so mad she nearly got disqualified. I think that would've worked better here heading into the PPV match. I get that Kaitlyn winning makes her look even stronger, but I think it makes it more clear now that Paige will win at Royal Rumble. Whoa! I loved the World's Greatest Tag Team, so Shelton Benjamin showing up is awesome. A Benjamin/Swagger team has LOADS of potential with Colter as their mouthpiece. I like the callbacks to Rock/Cena at WrestleMania 28, I can see them having a rematch at 29, but not for the title. Love that Punk got involved. Good ending to have the Rock stand tall. Maybe you'll go with the match I wanted at the real WrestleMania 29, which was Cena vs. Rock vs. Punk. Anyway, huge expectations for this show and you delivered. This has been solidified as my favorite diary to read of all time. Yes, I said it. Can't wait for the rest of this huge week.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 7th January 2013...Alright, the first episode of RAW in the year 2013, let's see what we have after I neglected the past month of television. The Rock kicking things off in his hometown is a good move, and I enjoyed what he had to say regarding his entry in the Royal Rumble. He's a big star addition, for sure. I'm just wondering how long he is going to be around. Derrick Bateman moving up in the world in the past month or two is a strange out to me, and very spontaneous, but it is very typical for WWE to push someone as strongly as they did Sheamus and Ryback previously. I'm not too sure about Evan Bourne being his ally, but I accept Maxine. I liked Rock's promo on Bateman, and loved the "Master Bateman" line. Nice promo, I was surprised that Rock didn't give Bourne or Bateman the Rock Bottom, though. Strange to see John Cena in the opening contest, Cena beating Seth Rollins made for a solid match, though. I like what you have done with Rolins on the main roster so far, but I am wondering where Rollins goes from here - a good bout that gave Cena an obvious win, delivered a great match and proved that Rollins is here to make an impact in any way, shape or form. Triple H in competition with Bray Wyat is awesome news, and I imagine they would have the chemistry to deliver a classic, personally. The thought of Derrick Bateman eliminating the Rock is a hilarious one. Next, Rob Van Dam winning the WWE United States Championship made this big episode of RAW bigger, and although Jack Swagger had a good reign, RVD could bring some interesting matches to the belt. I would have maybe put this up into the first hour main event, though. That said, this is a stacked RAW. Wow, big angle with Triple H and Bray Wyatt facing off in a non-match. Kane destroying Triple H was awesome, and I am so curious as to where this is going. At the rate you are going with Wyatt, he could be an excellent competitor for the Undertaker at WrestleMania after all - but right now I see Triple H facing Wyatt in some kind of gimmick match. Wyatt attacking Stephanie McMahon added a new notch onto the heat level, which could be good but would be bad for 2013 television. Roman Reigns defeating the Miz was an obvious decision, allowing Reigns to move on into singles competition and freshen things up. I guess that The Rock and John Cena will be having a rematch at WrestleMania XXIX after all. Ryback beating Fandango made sense, not much to add here. I think this could have been built up similarly to Goldberg and Chris Jericho's feud in WCW - Fandango is that kind of cowardly character. I'm not that sure about CM Punk and Wade Barrett's grudge match for the WWE Championship being only the second hour main event - especially it being a steel cage match. I think it should have definitely been the main event, because in this role Punk and Barrett's roles as main eventers are questionable. Punk defeating Barrett was a fine decision, and I like Paul Heyman's role inclusion here. Punk and Heyman may be my favourite pairing in the history of professional wrestling. Another three hour RAW next week? Slightly overkill, but I guess it's fine because RAW isn't properly a three hour show - thank God. Kaitlyn defeating Paige was interesting, setting up the WWE Divas Championship at the Royal Rumble. Wow, Zeb Colter re-introducing Shelton Benjamin as a Real American was really nice! I dig it, always thought Benjamin was a natural in the heel role. Good win for Benjamin against R-Truth in the calm-down match before what should be a massive final segment. And lastly, an awesome final segment to the show, the showdown for John Cena and the Rock. CM Punk's addition to the promo was also big, and this could perhaps sway the direction to making a huge triple threat match at WrestleMania, with the WWE Championship on the line. I would not be disappointed if that was the outcome of this hype. Overall, a solid start to the year, maybe slightly overkill with the amount of memorable moments - and we have to do it all over again next week with the 20th Anniversary of RAW. It'll be an interesting road to WrestleMania.

Let's go big Raw tonight - first of the year...
Nice way to kick things of with The Rock, the interruption from Bateman and his Entourage was good - Don't like Bourne in this role but aside from that very entertaining opening which got Rock's point across, enhanced Bateman and then we had the tense stare down between Rock and Cena. This all worked.
Before I move on with the show, wanted to praise you for the detail you go into with individual characters, Bray Wyatt last week and Rock this stand out. Great job. When you read your shows it is like reading an actual Raw report.
Cena beating Rollins in the opener was the right way to go. Rollins looked strong enough. Interesting to see where you take Rollins from here but I am sure you thought all of this through when you promoted Rollins to Raw.
RVD is the new U.S champion!! Normally I wouldn't be a fan of this but I think you needed to take the belt of Swagger apart from the last couple of weeks he hasn't had the greatest of reigns. RVD can now bring some credibility back to the belt. Maybe this is leading RVD-Rollins down the line?
Backstage segment led me to believe Steph would be involved with HHH/Bray and I'm right but it works 100% hit. I like where this is going and it has legs to it, it could last to Mania quite easily or could even transition to include The Undertaker. Many ways this can go, great work building this rivalry. I wasn't left disappointed that there wasn't a match.
Good win for Reigns, nice backstage bit with the former NXT cast...
I wasn't the biggest fan of Rock/Cena in real life but I like your back story which should lead to a rematch at Mania. I also like if that was to happen it's still wouldn't be clear as to who would win the match because Rock would want revenge while Cena would want to prove himself all over again.
Punk retaining the title over Barrett was the right call, was that the blow off or can we expect one more match at Mania because at the minute can't see who else could face Punk?
More great Diva work, no one puts in more effort with the Diva's than you.
Great call, bringing Shelton Benjamin back and teaming him with Zeb. Big fan of this and my immediate thought was now Swagger was not U.S champ he and Benjamin could add so much to the tag team division and could be a major force to Wrestling Royalty down the line. Really like this pairing!
TG11 said this was the 20th anniversary, I'm confused - I don't know who to believe!!
Final segment with Rock, Cena and then Punk...
Everything involving Rock/Cena I loved it continued the build well to their possible rematch and confrontation in the Rumble, them facing off also made the Rumble must see as it opens up many outcomes. I understand why Punk was out there and I no there's history between the 3 of them especially after what happened at Survivor Series and of course a 3 way would be huge. At the minute I am torn in thinking that I would actually prefer Rock/Cena II over a 3 way which even surprises me. Anyway will glad admit I was wrong if I change my mind.
Overall best Raw in a while. Smack Down has been kicking Raw's ass lately but this show alone really made things more interesting. Great work and it's only the start of a big week ahead
Cheap Plug| TNA48 is up and 49 will be up very soon, check them out!

I officially hate you for even mentioning Black Veil Brides. Garbage.
Now onto things actually worth my time. Good opening to the show with The Rock being interrupted by Master Bateman and friends. A nice tease from The Rock and John Cena heading into the opening contest in which Cena defeats Seth Rollins. A good choice for an opener and Cena getting the win is alright, I suppose, as Rollins still looked strong. No, Fandango! No means no! Rob Van Dam retaining the United States Championship over Jack Swagger I am fine with, although I would like to Swagger become champion down the road. Wow, Bray Wyatt kidnapping Stephanie McMahon? The Ric Flair thing was personal but this was even more. The McMahons are going down, damn it! They're going down! Reigns beating The Miz was obviously the best choice here because it is Roman f'n Reigns. Too bad he isn't a Paul Heyman Guy. John Cena and The Rock meeting in the ring later? We'll see. Squash match for Ryback, really, against Fandango. Meh. WWE Championship Steel Cage Match will be much more important! Punk defeating Barrett was for the best, I wonder if there will be some sort of rematch at Royal Rumble... or if Punk will face somebody else. Kaitlyn with a big win over Paige here, obviously setting herself up for the Diva's Championship match at Royal Rumble with a big victory under her belt over the champion. Shelton Benjamin? What? That was... different. I guess you'll have to show me more, although I do imagine Benjamin and Swagger can be a good in ring team. Big ending to the show with a nice tease of Rock vs Punk or Cena vs Punk or Rock vs Cena vs Punk or bah gawd who really knows what will happen. A very good Raw show, even though it was a little too overstacked perhaps. But, the Black Veil Brides thing was a hundred times worse than overstacking a show, so, you're forgiven for that.

January 9th, 2013 - Winter Park, FL Royal Rumble is live in three weeks on Pay-Per-View!
After the signature WWE intro, a video package was shown to highlight the bitter feud between NXT Champion, Kassius Ohno, and William Regal. At NXT's second iPPV back in October, the two first collided in a match that saw Regal be deemed unable to continue after a relentless beating at the hands of Ohno. With Regal absent, Ohno managed to go on to defeat Seth Rollins and become the NXT Champion. His celebration was short-lived, however, as Regal made his return shortly thereafter. The stage is now set for the final chapter in the rivalry between Ohno and Regal, and it will end when one of them utters the words, "I quit." NXT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FINALS EMMA DEF. RAQUEL DIAZ W/ VICKIE GUERRERONXT in 2013 kicked off in a big way as the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion was about to be crowned. The audience in Full Sail University was firmly behind Emma all the way throughout. After Raquel Diaz was able to kick out of a German Suplex, Vickie Guerrero stepped onto the ring apron to try and provide a distraction for Emma. She, however, responded by performing her signature dance, poking Vickie in the eye with her right hand. Raquel rolled Emma up, but only managed to get a two count. Once they were both back on their feet, Emma planted her with a Neckbreaker before applying the Emma Lock! Raquel held on for as long as she could, but the pain soon became unbearable as she submitted. The NXT Universe erupted as Emma was announced as the first-ever NXT Women's Champion. She was handed the title as tears of joy streamed from her eyes. She raised the title in the air as the entire audience performed her signature dance in celebration. History is made here tonight as Emma is the inaugural NXT Women's Champion!
Returning to NXT on ION Television, a recap of Emma's becoming of the first-ever NXT Women's Champion was shown, followed by an interview with Devin Taylor. She asked Emma for her thoughts after scoring the biggest victory of her career. Emma, who could barely speak as she was overwhelmed with emotions, said that for as long as she could remember, it has always been her dream to compete in the WWE. "And now, I get to say that I made history in the WWE by becoming the first-ever NXT Women's Champion." She tried to hold back her tears and speak, finally saying that this is the greatest moment of her life, and she was glad that she got to share it with the entire NXT Universe. "Thank you all so much," she said to conclude the interview. SAMI ZAYN & ADRIAN NEVILLE DEF. TYLER BREEZE & TRENT BARRETAA great tag team bout to settle two of NXT’s heated rivalries. At one point, Adrian Neville delivered a knee to the face of Tyler Breeze, which prompted the “Gorgeous One” to make the tag to Trent Barreta and tend to himself. Breeze remained on the outside for the rest of the match, looking at his face in the reflection of his cell phone. Neville would respond to this by catching Breeze by surprise with a Suicide Dive. Back in the ring, Sami Zayn was able to catch Barreta with a running Yakuza Kick in the corner for the victory. A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. In the first-ever I Quit match here on NXT, Kassius Ohno defends the NXT Championship against William Regal. That match is still to come tonight on NXT!
A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. Just announced via WWE.com, the "Rated R Superstar" will make his return to the brand when he hosts an edition of the Cutting Edge with the interim General Manager, John Bradshaw Layfield. Plus, the World Heavyweight Championship and WWE Tag Team Championships will be on the line when Dolph Ziggler and Wrestling Royalty defend their respective titles against Alberto Del Rio, Damien Sandow and Antonio Cesaro in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy. Returning to NXT on ION Television, Adam Cole made his way down to the ring to a negative reception from the Full Sail audience. Once in the ring, he reminded everyone of the challenge that he issued two weeks ago. “I challenged any WWE superstar to meet in this ring tonight. I don’t care who it is. It could be John Cena, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, it could even be The Rock. I will make a statement against them.” A few seconds passed by without an entrance, leading Cole to believe that no one would accept his challenge. However, the theme song of Big E Langston soon hit to an enormous pop. Big E, who last week signed a contract with SmackDown, made his way down to the ring. Perhaps to the dismay of Adam Cole, Big E did fit the criteria of a WWE superstar, and he was about to compete in his final match on NXT. BIG E LANGSTON DEF. ADAM COLENot exactly the match-up that Adam Cole was expecting, nor the one that he wanted as Big E Langston was able to run through him. SmackDown’s newest superstar hit Cole with the Big Ending, not going for a cover immediately as he took notice of the NXT Universe’s chants for another one. He delivered a second Big Ending, this time covering Cole to gain the win. The NXT Universe came unglued for Big E Langston as the bell was sounded, him raising his arms in victory. An emotional moment for Big E as he stared at the Full Sail audience one final time, ready to leave NXT and move on to the SmackDown roster. Backstage, Richie Steamboat was shown walking down a corridor when Renee Young approached, saying that she wanted to quickly get his and Bo Rotundo's thoughts heading into their NXT Tag Team Championship match. "I would like to get Bo's thoughts as well," he said before Renee asked what he meant by saying that. "Bo isn't here. I haven't seen him all day. No one has. He's not answering any calls or texts," said Steamboat. When Renee asked what he planned on doing, Steamboat said that just because Bo decided to no-show doesn't mean that he won't get his revenge against Corey Graves and Jake Carter tonight. "Not having a partner out there won't stop me. I'm not only going to compete in this match on my own, but I am going to become one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions once again. Then, whenever Bo decides to show up around here, he can explain himself." Steamboat continued on, prepared to go in alone against Graves and Carter for the NXT Tag Team Championships, next! NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH COREY GRAVES AND JAKE CARTER DEF. RICHIE STEAMBOATIn what was supposed to be a rematch from a number of weeks ago, Bo Rotundo was nowhere to be seen, leaving Richie Steamboat to go at it alone against the duo of Corey Graves and Jake Carter. While Steamboat managed to put up a valiant effort, it was all for nothing as Graves and Carter finished him off with Bottoms Up to retain their titles. The audience booed as Corey Graves and Jake Carter were handed back their NXT Tag Team Championships. As the two celebrated, the commentary unit put over the effort on the part of Richie Steamboat. Still, one has to wonder where Bo Rotundo was this evening and why he didn't bother showing up for this huge match up. Backstage, William Regal was shown walking towards the ring. He meets Kassius Ohno in an I Quit match for the NXT Championship, next!
A promo was shown for the Royal Rumble, live Sunday January 27th, only on Pay Per View. I QUIT MATCH FOR THE NXT CHAMPIONSHIP KASSIUS OHNO DEF. WILLIAM REGALOne of the most anticipated matches in NXT history turned out to be the most brutal that we had seen yet. Regal and Ohno started off the match by trading shots, Regal gaining the upperhand before throwing Ohno to the outside. Regal delivered repeated Suplexes to Ohno onto the floor, asking if he wanted to quit after every one. Ohno was able to prevent one of the Suplexes, whipping Regal into the steel ring post. A gash appeared on Regal’s forehead, which Ohno targeted by striking him with the NXT Championship. When asked if he wanted to quit, Regal told Ohno to, “Go to hell.” Ohno would retaliate by kicking Regal repeatedly in the head, an uncomfortable scene to witness. The next time Regal was asked if he wanted to quit, he spat at the NXT Champion. Ohno went for another kick to his head, but Regal was able to dodge it and apply the Regal Stretch! The audience came unglued as Ohno was now the one in trouble! The official asked him if wanted to quit, but Ohno was able to escape the hold by taking the microphone and bashing Regal in the head with it. Ohno went back on the attack, placing Regal in a corner and hitting him with multiple knee strikes. Ohno then went to the outside, grabbing a steel chair. He placed it onto Regal’s face before stepping onto the second rope, threatening to come down with a stomp onto the chair. Regal extended his hand out to the official, which prompted him to give him the microphone. “………I quit.” Shock came over the audience as William Regal had just uttered the words, “I quit.” Kassius Ohno was handed back the NXT Championship, raising it high in the air while laughing. However, he was not yet finished with his assault. He placed Regal against the ropes, taking the steel chair with the intentions of striking him in the head. Before he could do so, the crowd erupted as Sami Zayn ran down to the ring! Ohno swung the chair at him, but Zayn was able to dodge the shot and Yakuza Kick the chair into Ohno’s face! The NXT Champion rolled out of the ring as Zayn told the official to get help for Regal. Ohno crawled up the entrance ramp while Zayn stared him down, making sure that no further damage could be done to Regal.

Now for this version of NXT...
I actually prefer this NXT but that's because you have been able to put your own spin on it and build a greater roster, sure NXT in the WWE Diary will soon be just as good.
Big show tonight for NXT as it was for Raw and will be for Smack Down, kicking off the year with a bang.
Emma takes the NXT title is the right call, knowing you will be putting a lot of thought into the NXT Diva's Division.
Next 3 matches for undercard matches are pretty big, every man in the match had name value. Seems like Breeze is moving onto Neville, wonder where this will leave Barretta? Nice twist to the tag title match with Bo not showing up. I reckon he was waiting in line at disney world.
Main Event was intense, Regal saying I quit was something I never thought I would read/see but he would have no problem doing it I'm sure. Really put over Ohno strong here, Ohno would have so much heat coming out of this. Part of me likes Zayn coming out to make the save and I am a fan of Zayn/Hero for the title but part of me thinks you could have just let Ohno soak in the heat and have the confrontation next week. Overall though it makes little difference. Great Main Event. 2 for 2 this week!
