- Opening up the show with Smackdown's Cody Rhodes, God's Gifts leader talking about his match at WrestleMania bitching and complaining about the fact that he doesn't get his one on one title shot for the World Heavyweight Championship by being the one to face Ziggler, well he had the title, lost it to Ziggler and then lost his rematch to Ziggler so as far as I am concerned he doesn't deserve another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship but since he has to go through the World Heavyweight Champion Ziggler, the 2013 Royal Rumble Match winner Bryan Danielson and his nemesis Kurt Angle in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match where he can be pinned, it is actually better and then seeing the WWE Champion CM Punk come out to interrupt Cody Rhodes was even better but then seeing Punk bitch and complain about having to defend his WWE Championship in a Triple Threat where he doesn't even have to be pinned to lose his title, well if Punk claims to be the "Best in the World" then he would have no problems beating Cena and Rock at WrestleMania 29 to retain his WWE Championship but then seeing Cena come out to interrupt both Rhodes and Punk and then it all ending in Cena vs Rhodes in an impromptu match, I can't wait until that happens
- John Cena beating Cody Rhodes, I was expecting Cody Rhodes' boys God's Gifts to come out and interrupt this match saving their leader Cody Rhodes from sure annihilation but that didn't happen as Rhodes was served up to Cena perfectly but I understand how you had Cena go over, gives him momentum heading into Mania where he has to face the WWE Champion CM Punk and The Rock in a Triple Threat Match, could Cena become champion again at WrestleMania 29? Cena obviously sent a message to CM Punk with this victory but I wonder how Punk will respond? Or how Rock will respond in kind?
- Loved Paul Heyman's clients coming face to face for the first time with the WWE Champion CM Punk meeting his fellow Paul Heyman Guy Cesaro for the first time and seeing them interact but loved Cesaro with that jab towards Punk at the end telling him that if he wins Money in the Bank he could very well cash it in on Punk to become WWE Champion, well that is what I got from that exchange, but I wonder how Heyman and or Punk will respond to this?
- Cesaro becoming the 3rd man to qualify for Money in the Bank by beating R-Truth to qualify, I was kind of expecting Truth to qualify, who knows maybe he still could but then again who knows but seeing Cesaro qualify for Money in the Bank and him being a "Paul Heyman Guy" Paul Heyman manages world champions so I wouldn't be surprised if Cesaro does end up winning the Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania 29 considering his fellow Paul Heyman Guy CM Punk has won the briefcase not once but twice at WrestleMania so if Cesaro wins he could very well cash it in to become either WWE Champion or World Heavyweight Champion
- Orton and Batista explaining why they went after the WWE Tag Team Champions Wrestling Royalty by attacking DiBiase & Hennig, it makes sense when you really think about it because Orton & Batista they said that they would align themselves with each other because they want to destroy all of our heroes and Wrestling Royalty are exactly that, they are heroes, they have been WWE Tag Team Champions for 335 days, the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time and Orton & Batista are sick and tired of hearing it but they are just bitter because they are not in the main event of WrestleMania so they want to make history by being the ones to finally dethrone Wrestling Royalty, hey I mean it could happen...but then seeing the WWE Tag Team Champions Hennig & DiBiase come out and tell Orton & Batista that they are not afraid of them or intimidated by them in any way but also they end up reminding Orton of the last time they were ever in the ring together, what a great comeback...but seeing DiBiase & Hennig having to defend their WWE Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 29 against Orton & Batista, I think this may finally be the time that they are dethroned
- Derrick Bateman is so confident that he is going to win Money in the Bank, well being the first man to qualify for Money in the Bank does that but look at the competition he already has to go through, Sheamus too is also in that match and now so is Cesaro, Bateman has no chance in hell of winning, and seeing Bateman come face to face with Cesaro and Heyman and then Heyman taking pot shots at Bateman telling him that he was thinking about bringing him into the fold of Paul Heyman Guys but also telling him that he stands no chance in hell of winning especially with Cesaro now in the match, well Heyman's clients they always go on to greatness, they always go on to become world champions one way or another and Cesaro he won't be any exception to the rule
- JBL telling us all that God's Gifts is officially no more as a stable, this is great, probably the greatest news ever but then seeing him join the RAW announcing team joining King and Cole on commentary I love it, I can't wait because JBL is such a great commentator already
- Roman Reigns The One Man Army becoming the 4th man to qualify for Money in the Bank beating WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, Reigns wouldn't have won had it not been for Chris Jericho's interference, had it not been for Jericho's distraction then Ambrose would have been the one to qualify for Money in the Bank I am just calling it like I see it but Jericho playing mind games with Ambrose, perfect, the lights go out and Jericho's sparkling jacket is there and then when the lights come back on Jericho is nowhere to be found and Reigns capitalizes by spearing Ambrose to get the victory...I don't think Jericho is done with Ambrose not by a long shot
- Reigns then getting attacked backstage by Seth Rollins and then Rollins telling him that he had better hope that Rollins doesn't qualify for Money in the Bank, well it is pretty obvious that this is being built up towards Seth Rollins qualifying for Money in the Bank and I think he will
- That sit down interview that Cole conducted with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman, wow what a chilling interview, this No Holds Barred Match won't be for the faint of heart, this match will be ugly, it will be brutal, it will be as physical as they come as bloody as they come and this will just be a straight up fight that we can be certain of, but Lesnar at the end of this interview with ominous words telling all of us that on April 7th Wade Barrett's career ends, it very well could
- WWE Divas Champion Paige and her WrestleMania 29 opponent AJ Lee teaming up to beat the team of Alicia Fox and Aksana, was expecting either Paige to walk out on AJ leaving her to get beat by Alicia Fox and Aksana or hell I was probably expecting AJ to walk out on Paige leaving her to get beaten by Alicia Fox and Aksana or I guess I was expecting either one of them to turn on the other considering these 2 are facing each other for the WWE Divas Championship at WrestleMania 29 so how can they trust each other? Or how can they co-exist without turning on each other? Then seeing Kaitlyn come out and spearing both AJ & Paige, it is obvious Kaitlyn is jealous, bitter because of the fact that she is not in the WWE Divas Championship match at WrestleMania 29 and she figures that by attacking both divas she will all of a sudden get her way and she will get into this match at WrestleMania 29, it could very well happen, it could very well turn into a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Divas Championship
- Dream match of CM Punk vs Kurt Angle, one on one for the first time ever, The Best in the World going up against the Olympic Gold Medalist this Friday on Smackdown, I am so excited for this match that I can't wait
- 6 spots left for Money in the Bank, I wonder which 6 superstars will qualify to make up the field for Money in the Bank?
- Seeing the RAW main event, a Survivor Series re-match with The Undertaker's brother Kane going up against Bray Wyatt and this match being so back and forth until the lights go out and when they come back on Harper and Rowan are in the ring and then all 3 Wyatt members are beating on Kane to cause the DQ only for the lights to go out again and Taker's gong hitting and the lights coming back on Taker is in the ring behind Bray Wyatt and Wyatt turns around only for Taker and Kane to take out Harper & Rowan but Wyatt getting away and then Taker accepting Bray Wyatt's challenge for WrestleMania 29, will the streak go to 21-0? Or will Bray Wyatt make history by being "The One" as in 20-1? Could Bray Wyatt end Taker's streak?

- I could see Taker at least having a TV match before his match at WrestleMania 29 with Bray Wyatt with Undertaker & Kane teaming up, The Brothers of Destruction teaming up to take on Luke Harper & Erick Rowan of The Wyatt Family in a tag team main event match on either a future RAW or on a future Smackdown

| BREAKING NEWS: PAUL BEARER PASSES AWAY, TRIBUTE MATCH SET FOR RAW NEXT MONDAY | - Late last night, March 5th, rumors began circulating around the internet that William Moody, better known as Paul Bearer, had passed away. It was not until the story made its way onto WWE.com that we learned of its legitimacy. Bearer made his debut in 1991 as the manager of the Undertaker and would go on to become an integral part of WWE programming with 'Taker. Our deepest condolences go out to Bearer's friends, family and fans.
- UPDATE: Nearly one day after the unfortunate passing of Paul Bearer, no further details surrounding his death have been released, but we did learn via WWE's website that next Monday on RAW, a tribute match is set in his honor. For the first time in over three years, the Undertaker and Kane, two superstars who were previously managed by Bearer, will team up to take on Wyatt Family members, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. This bout will also mark Undertaker's first on television since October 1st, 2010. |

The Brothers of Destruction teaming up for the first time in over 4 years, the last time was 2009 so to see these brothers team up to face Harper & Rowan of The Wyatt Family, it makes sense, I wonder if you are going to factor in Paul Bearer's death into Bray Wyatt & Undertaker's feud?

great dialogue you have there between Punk and Rhodes ......... it would be a shame if some one ...... were to .......... interrupt it Cena vs Rhodes is too good for opening contest but it's okay great to see Cesaro qualifying for the Money In The Bank Match, i hope he win the briefcase and cash in successfully, and i know you'll make the right decision JBL joining the commentary team of Raw is amazing, and this dialogue between Evolution and Royalty is awesome, this would really be the best match in their reign after Jericho and Orton's one ofcourse Cesaro vs Punk would be a great match, hopefully Punk hold the title until Cesaro cash in on him and we see a feud between them ! i really wanted Ambrose to win as he'll be another pick to win the MITB, i don't like Reigns at all but since you're doing Ambrose vs Jericho feud, i'm not upset, because this is dream feud imo good feud there between Rollins and Reigns, and ofcourse Rollins will be one of the 6 superstars to be revealed as always, Heyman is cutting a good promo to prove why he's "the voice of the voiceless" interesting that Paige and AJ Lee are friends on-screen, i think Kaitlyn will make one of them turn of the other WOW, Angle vs Punk on Smackdown ?, this is another dream match but it's happening on smackdown ?, i think it won't end with decisive win Kane beating Wyatt by DQ was obvious, i wonder if you'll continue Wyatt/Kane feud after Wrestlemania or not, YES! The Phenom is here !, and it's Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt oooooooooh yeaaaaaaaaaah

#ArRivalFallout | In memory of William "Paul Bearer" Moody, 1954-2013.
After the signature WWE intro, we were taken to a video package that recapped the events from last week's NXT ArRival special on WWE.com. After Richie Steamboat announced his injury and hiatus, Bo Dallas attempted to take a count out victory against the "Son of the Dragon." Bo, however, was interrupted by the Rock, who laid out the inspirational superstar with a Rock Bottom. In NXT's first-ever Money in the Bank Ladder match, it was Tyler Breeze who managed to retrieve the briefcase. At any moment throughout the next year, "Prince Pretty" can cash-in for an opportunity at the NXT Championship. Emma managed to defeat Raquel Diaz to retain the NXT Women's Championship, but received a beat down afterwards from both Raquel and Sasha Banks. It was the reigning Divas Champion Paige, however, who made a surprise appearance to come to Emma's aid. Speaking of surprise appearances, , Maria made her return to the WWE by showing up at the Full Sail Arena, declaring to bring her "Prodigy" to the brand soon. William Regal shocked the NXT Universe when he turned his back on Oliver Grey, aligning himself with Kenneth Cameron. Corey Graves and Jake Carter's open challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championships was answered by Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, now known as the Alpha Wolves. In their debut match, Richards and Edwards would become the brand new NXT Tag Team Champions. In the main event, Kassius Ohno put the NXT Championship on the line against Sami Zayn. After an incredible back and forth match up, three Roaring Elbows resulted in Ohno retaining the title, leaving Zayn and the NXT Universe heartbroken.
Cutting to the Full Sail Arena, Brandi Rhodes introduced the man who came up short at NXT ArRival against Kassius Ohno for the NXT Championship, Sami Zayn. The audience erupted as Zayn made his way down to the ring, still feeling the physical, mental and emotional effects of failing to capture the NXT Championship one week ago. Zayn took a microphone as he stepped into the ring, saying that he was hoping for the scenery to be a bit different when he made his entrance just now. "I've only been in NXT for a couple of months now, but upon setting foot in here, I made a promise to myself that I would become NXT Champion sooner rather than later. I had my opportunity last week at ArRival against Kassius Ohno.....and I failed," said Zayn. The audience thought otherwise, chanting his name thunderously. Zayn then said that he gave everything that he had in the ring, but Ohno is a hell of a competitor and it showed thoroughly. "Am I disappointed? Yes, however, I am going to let this loss ruin me. This is only a setback for myself. I will scratch and claw my back to the top and fulfill my promise to myself, as well as the NXT Universe of becoming the NXT Champion!" The crowd continued to roar for Zayn before he said that while he failed to capture a title at ArRival, there were two other gentlemen who successfully did so. "Allow me to introduce to everyone the new NXT Tag Team Champions, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, the Alpha Wolves!" The crowd came unglued as Richards and Edwards stepped out onto the stage, holding the NXT Tag Team Championships high above their heads. The Alpha Wolves made their way down to the ring, greeting Zayn. Zayn, Richards and Edwards all stood in the ring as the Full Saul Audience went wild for the three men who made names for themselves all across the globe on the independent scene. Edwards spoke first, saying that he and Richards spent years perfecting their craft before they felt that it was the right time to make the jump to the WWE. "When we heard that Corey Graves and Jake Carter were issuing an open challenge at NXT ArRival, Davey and I knew that this was our chance," said Edwards before handing the microphone over to Richards. "Throughout their entire reign, Graves and Carter were used to competing against subpar challengers. So imagine their surprise when the Alpha Wolves walked through that curtain and not only stepped up to the plate, but defeated them in the middle of this ring to make history by becoming the NXT Tag Team Champions in our very first match on the brand!" said Richards.
Before the celebration for the Alpha Wolves could continue, the entrance music of Corey Graves and Jake Carter hit. The former NXT Tag Team Championship received a resounding amount of boos as they stepped into the ring, coming face-to-face with the two men who defeated them at ArRival last week. "Alright, fine. Maybe we did let our guard down against you two. However, everyone in this arena has to admire the bravery that Jake Carter and I showed by stepping into this ring without having the slightest clue who our challengers would be. In the end, you two got lucky, but we are entitled to a rematch. And when we decide to invoke that rematch clause, the NXT Tag Team Championships will be back around our waists," said Graves. Eddie Edwards responded by asking what he and Carter were waiting for? "There's four us and one ring, which is all that's needed to have a match, so why don't you two take up your rematch right now?" Edwards and Richards placed the titles on the canvas, preparing to defend them against Carter and Graves at that very moment. However, the entrance music of Tyler Breeze would then. NXT's Mr. Money in the Bank walked down to the ring, flaunting the briefcase. He stepped into the ring, saying that all of this discussion about ArRival last week is irrelevant. "Sami, Corey, Jake, you all lost. Eddie, Davey, I have no idea who either of you are. Let's take the spotlight off of all of these 'uggos' and put it on a man who succeeded tremendously last week. 'Prince Pretty' is now the holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase, which means that at any time over the course of the next year, I can cash-in my contract and become the NXT Champion. Something that you failed to do, 'Ugly Zayn.'" The crowd reacted to Breeze's words as Zayn got in the face of 'Prince Pretty,' the Alpha Wolves doing the same with Graves and Carter. Soon, NXT General Manager Ricardo Rodriguez made his way out to the stage to restore order among the six superstars. He stated that since there seems to be a lot of tension boiling over from ArRival, he'll go ahead and announce tonight's main event. A Six Man Tag match pitting Tyler Breeze, Corey Graves and Jake Carter against Sami Zayn and the new NXT Tag Team Champions, the Alpha Wolves! The audience erupted for the announcement as all six superstars glared at each other, the heel unit leaving the ring. Zayn, Richards and Edwards watched them leave, all men focus on tonight's huge main event!

| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #RileyVsCole | ADAM COLE DEF. ALEX RILEY W/ ALEXA BLISS: After coming up short in the Money in the Bank Ladder match at NXT ArRival last week, both Alex Riley and Adam Cole were looking to get back into contention for the NXT Championship. The Full Sail Arena continues to get behind Cole, making him one of the more popular stars on the roster. As Riley was attempting a Powerbomb, Cole was able to counter it and deliver a Panama Sunrise to pick up the win.
The NXT Universe popped heavily as Adam Cole stood to his feet following perhaps his biggest victory yet on NXT over Alex Riley. The "Varsity Villain" rolled out of the ring as his cheerleader, Alexa Bliss, tended to him while Cole celebrated his win, picking up momentum on his quest towards the NXT Championship.
Backstage, Devin Taylor was standing by with the woman who made a shocking return to the WWE last week at NXT ArRival, Maria Kanellis. Maria stepped into the picture as Devin asked if she could elaborate on what she meant last week when she said that she would be bringing her 'Prodigy' to NXT? "I'm sure you would love to know. Just like I'm sure that all of these people would love to know. However, they're just going to have to wait, but trust me. The wait will be worth it. Sooner than later, the world will be introduced to a real man. A real competitor. My'Prodigy,'" said Maria as she left the interview, remaining cryptic about her 'Prodigy.'
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #EmmaVsBanks | A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. For the first-time ever, Kurt Angle will go one-on-one with the WWE Champion, CM Punk! The 'Best in the World' takes on the Olympic Gold Medalist in a dream match, this Friday on SmackDown!
NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPION EMMA DEF. SASHA BANKS W/ RAQUEL DIAZ & VICKIE GUERRERO: With Raquel Diaz failing to gain the NXT Women's Championship last week at ArRival, Sasha Banks was given the chance to shine this time against Emma. While the "Boss" put up a valiant effort, Emma was able to once again pick up a victory after making Banks submit to the Emma Lock.
Emma released the Emma Lock that she had on Sasha Banks as she stood to her feet, taking back the NXT Women's Championship. The Full Sail audience celebrated with Emma as the Women's Champion performed her unusual signature dance until Vickie Guerrero took a microphone and interrupted. "Excuse me!? I said excuse me!! Emma, you got lucky at ArRival against Raquel Diaz, my daughter. The future of the WWE women's division. Just when you were about to get everything that you deserved, a certain 'Anti-Diva' came to your aid," said Vickie as the crowd popped for the mention of the Divas Champion, Paige. "In a fair fight, you two wouldn't stand a chance against Raquel and Sasha, so how about next week, you invite Paige to NXT and we settle this in a tag team match?" The NXT Universe showed their approval for the challenge as Emma accepted while continuing to dance. Next week, the WWE Divas Champion and NXT Women's Champion team up when Paige and Emma take on Raquel Diaz and Sasha Banks!
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Sami Zayn teams up with the new NXT Tag Team Champions, the Alpha Wolves to take on Corey Graves, Jake Carter and NXT's Mr. Money in the Bank, Tyler Breeze! The Six Man Tag main event is still to come here on NXT!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #RegalAndKenneth | Returning to NXT on ION Television, Jason Jordan was shown already in the ring as he prepared for action against one of the most dangerous superstars on the brand. First, however, the entrance music of William Regal hit as he made his way out to a negative response following his shocking betrayal last week. Regal asked for decorum, saying that he brings to the NXT Universe one of the most gifted talents to ever grace professional wrestling. "Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you all a man who was once known as Kenneth Cameron. However, it is only fitting that he receive a name that upholds his honor. Therefore, I give to you all......Sir Kenneth!" The former-Kenneth Cameron stepped out onto the stage, sporting the same sadistic facial expression as he shook Regal's hand.
SIR KENNETH W/ WILLIAM REGAL DEF. JASON JORDAN: Sir Kenneth, as he was referred to by William Regal, put on a dominant performance here against Jason Jordan, running through him before delivering an Impaler DDT to pick up the victory.
Following the sound of the bell, Sir Kenneth picked Jason Jordan up off of the canvas, taking him down with a Clothesline before delivering numerous strikes. William Regal stepped into the ring, smiling the entire time as his protege showed no mercy for the man that he had just defeated decisively. Kenneth would then plant Jordan with another Impaler DDT, staring at him with a twisted expression on his face. Regal raised Kenneth's arm as the two Englishmen stood tall for the second week in a row.
Backstage, Renee Young was standing by with Bo Rotundo. Bo stepped into the picture as he was asked for a response after being laid out with a Rock Bottom at NXT ArRival last week. "Well, Renee, it's understandable for the Rock to be upset. I mean, he isn't going into WrestleMania with the best mindset possible. That's alright, though, because I know that if the Rock just digs deep down, he can find it in his heart to Bolieve! Only then will be stand a chance at becoming WWE Champion at WrestleMania." Bo then said that while the Rock has a goal set for himself, he does as well. "That goal is to not only make the entire NXT Universe Bolieve in themselves, but I also have a dream of becoming NXT Champion. I promise to fulfill that promise for all of my Bolievers out there!"
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #SixManTag | A promo was shown for WrestleMania XXIX, live Sunday April 7th, only on Pay-Per-View.
Returning to NXT, a graphic was shown to reveal that next week, we will be joined by the NXT Champion, Kassius Ohno. Plus, a huge Divas tag team match as Raquel Diaz and Sasha Banks take on the NXT Women's Champion and WWE Divas Champion, Emma and Paige. All that and more next week on NXT!
SAMI ZAYN & NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE ALPHA WOLVES DEF. TYLER BREEZE, COREY GRAVES & JAKE CARTER: One of the biggest main events in NXT history as we witnessed the ION Television debut of the new NXT Tag Team Champions, the Alpha Wolves. Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards and Sami Zayn were able to keep control for much of the match, picking up momentum by delivering simultaneous Suicide Dives towards the end of the bout. After making the tag to Richards, Zayn would climb onto the top turnbuckle, coming down onto Tyler Breeze and Corey Graves on the outside. Back in the ring, Edwards would place Carter in position for a Powerbomb, Richards leaping off of the top rope and catching him with a double knee Backbreaker. Richards got the cover on Carter to pick up the victory for his team.
The NXT Universe erupted as Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards were handed back their NXT Tag Team Championships, Sami Zayn joining them in the ring. Several highlights from the match were shown before cutting back to the arena, where we saw Tyler Breeze crawling up the entrance ramp with his Money in the Bank briefcase. Zayn and the Alpha Wolves stood tall in the ring, coming out on top in the main event of NXT!

Well personally NXT really does nothing for me as a show I don't know why but I guess I am just more interested in RAW and Smackdown and why? Because those shows are the shows that anyone cares anything about while NXT is like a distant afterthought

Alright, I'm just gonna do NXT (because I love NXT. Great wrestling and the storylines are built fantastically in real life)
- I like your layout. I feel like the hashtags on the side are very WWE-esque, something they would totally do. Anyways.
- I think the Rock showing up on NXT is a little far fetched, but it's nice to see something different.
- Damn, the Wolves are in NXT? That's tight.
- It's too bad that Graves/Carter had to lose. Graves is definitely my favorite wrestler on NXT. (Is he still concussed?)
- Nice way to build the main event.
- "The Varsity Villain" ... That's genius. Love him having Alexa Bliss as a valet too.
- Good way to build the Diva's tag team match next week.
- Nice to see Sir Kenneth grab some more momentum.
- Ugh... Bo Rotundo. I love the gimmick that he has, the heel-but-doesn't-know-it style. Gives me the god damn giggles. I feel like you captured his character perfectly here.
- Almost had to feel that the faces were going to come out on top here. Nice way to make them all look strong, but I'm sure Breeze/Graves/Carter will be back.
Loved the show man, keep up the great work.

It's all equal in this diary. Anyway, I'll reply in the morning boo.

Hashtags! Hashtags everywhere! It does give this a very modern feel. Having Sami Zayn, Davey Richard and Eddie Edwards in an NXT ring together has me fully erect. Six man tag main event is cool and I'm intrigued that it's Tyler Breeze and not Kassius Ohno with the former Tag Team Champions like I expected. I still adore the pairing of Alex Riley and Alexa Bliss, it's perfect for someone like her but I'm glad Adam Cole won. Obviously Maria is talking about Mike Bennett and I'm honestly surprised the WWE actually hasn't signed him. Kurt Angle vs. CM Punk is a huge match. I wonder where I've seen that before. THE BOSS! Emma defeating her was for the best though. Loving the tag team match set for next week. NXT Divas are always entertaining. William Regal turning heel and siding with Kenneth Cameron makes me more interested in Kenneth than ever before. Nice win for him. Funny Bo Dallas stuff. Great six man tag team match to close the show with the faces standing tall. I know I missed some of this but I'll be back to regular reading and replying when I can.

#KurtAngle | In memory of William "Paul Bearer" Moody, 1954-2013.
After the intro video package, cameras scanned over the audience here in Albany as the commentary trio of Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Mathews welcomed everyone to Friday Night SmackDown as we inch closer and closer to WrestleMania XXIX! In tonight's main event, a dream match for the members of the WWE Universe becomes a reality. WWE Champion CM Punk goes one-on-one with the Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle! Plus, Angle will not be the only participant in the Fatal Four Way Elimination match at WrestleMania in action tonight. World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler teams up with the 2013 Royal Rumble winner, Daniel Bryan to take on the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships, Randy Orton and Batista. All that and much more on this jam packed edition of Friday Night SmackDown!
Speaking of Kurt Angle, the entrance music of the Olympic Gold Medalist hit to a massive ovation from the WWE Universe. Angle made his way down to the ring as a graphic was shown for the Fatal Four Way Elimination match as WrestleMania for the World Heavyweight Championship involving Angle, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes and the defending champion, Dolph Ziggler. Angle took a microphone and said that on April 7th, he will have the opportunity to live up to the promise that he gave back in July when he signed the dotted line to return to the WWE. "I told myself that I was coming back to become World Heavyweight Champion one more time, and that is exactly what I will do at WrestleMania. Now I know that as of late, I have not exactly proven myself capable of that. Last week, I was pinned in the middle of this ring by one of the most twisted individuals that I have ever competed against, Bray Wyatt. And tonight, another tough challenge awaits me when I take on the WWE Champion, CM Punk. However, tonight is where things start to change around here. Tonight, Kurt Angle gets back on track when he grabs Punk's ankle, snaps it and makes him tap out! And from there, I will go on to WrestleMania and do the same to Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes to become World Heavyweight Champion! Oh it's true! It's damn true!" said a fired up Angle as the crowd roared with excitement. The applause soon died down, however, as Cody Rhodes' entrance music hit. He made his way out to the ring, coming face-to-face with Angle, one week after costing him a potential victory over the Wyatt Family in a Six Man Tag match. Rhodes told Angle that he can get the WWE Universe's hopes up all he wants, but in the end, he's just going to disappoint them like he has always done. "You failed last week against the Wyatt Family, yet somehow, you believe that you're going to get the job done tonight against CM Punk? You know the real reason why people are calling this a dream match? That's because only in their dreams will you make Punk tap out. Along with that, you said that you're going to become World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania? If I recall correctly, Angle, you said that exact same thing a few months ago when you and I were preparing for our match at Survivor Series? And what happened there? I planted you on your heard, nearly ended your career and shattered your dreams of becoming World Champion again, proving to the entire world that you cannot win the big one again. I look forward to doing the same at WrestleMania, only this time, I will successfully end your career once and for all." Rhodes placed his microphone down as he laughed in Angle's face, the Olympic Gold Medalist looking as if he were ready to strike at any moment against the "Prince of Pro Wrestling." Suddenly, SmackDown General Manager Edge appeared on the titantron. He said that he wanted to interrupt before anything could happen between Angle and Rhodes. "I understand that there is no love lost between you two, but save it for WrestleMania. Angle, you have a match to prepare for tonight against CM Punk, and Rhodes, I know that you don't plan on being too far from that match. That's why I am ordering security to escort you out of the arena right now," said Edge. The audience in Albany popped as several security guards marched down to the ring, Rhodes irate at Edge's order. The "Prince of Pro Wrestling" was escorted up the entrance ramp, Angle looking on as he knows that Rhodes will not be a factor in his match tonight against the WWE Champion, CM Punk.
A graphic was shown for the upcoming Street Fight between Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel, with the winner qualifying for the Money in the Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania! This heated rivalry will be settled, next!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #StreetFight | TYSON KIDD DEF. JUSTIN GABRIEL IN A STREET FIGHT TO QUALIFY FOR THE MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: After weeks of rising animosity, Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd were finally going to settle their rivalry with the stake incredibly high. A Street Fight to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania XXIX. Gabriel took control early on, throwing Kidd into the steel steps before introducing a kendo stick. Kidd slowly rose to his feet, only to be struck repeatedly in the abdominal area with the kendo stick. Gabriel would then attempt a 450 Splash, only for Kidd to move. Kidd planted Gabriel with a DDT before going for the cover, only getting a two count. Kidd would then introduce a trash can into the mix of things. He placed it over Gabriel's upper body, hitting him with a Spinning Heel Kick. After Gabriel kicked out, Kidd looked under the ring once again, this time bringing out a table. He set it up in the center of the ring before picking Gabriel up off of the canvas. Gabriel, however, caught Kidd with a thumb to the eye before attempting to deliver a Suplex through the table. Kidd was able to retaliate, picking up the kendo stick and striking Gabriel with it. Kidd then took the trash can, leveling Gabriel on the top of his head. Gabriel fell back onto the table as Kidd stepped out onto the ring apron, delivering a Springboard Elbow Drop though the table! Kidd got the cover on Gabriel to finally put him away and punch his ticket for the Money in the Bank Ladder match.
The WWE Universe popped as Tyson Kidd slowly stood to his feet, letting out a shout while raising his arms. The carnage in and around the ring was shown before several highlights from this incredible bout aired. Returning to the feed, Kidd was shown staring up at the Money in the Bank briefcase that he will have the chance to claim at WrestleMania on April 7th.
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #RybackReturns | Returning from the commercial break, a video package was shown with orchestral music playing the background. "This Monday......the biggest name to headline WrestleMania......returns!" is what appeared in the video before fading out.
RYBACK DEF. FANDANGO: The return of Ryback, who we had not seen since he and Rusev crashed through the stage back at Battleground. Despite missing a few weeks of action, "Big Hungry" looked just as dominant and destructive as ever, running through Fandango and planting him with Shell Shocked to pick up the victory.
The closing bell sounded as Ryback rose to his feet, the WWE Universe going wild for his triumphant return. "Feed me more!" Shouted Ryback along with the audience here in Albany until the voice of Lana could be heard. On the titantron, Lana was shown in a gym with Rusev training in the background. "Pathetic American. You actually believed that you had seen the last of Rusev? The 'Super Athlete' knows no physical barriers and Rusev is looking forward to getting the chance to decimate you, Ryback. However, the next time you and Rusev collide, it will not be on that filthy, putrid American soil. We will be here in Russia, waiting for your arrival." The video faded as Ryback looked on, a focused look on his face.
Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Edge was shown in his office when Chris Jericho walked in. Jericho and Edge greeted each other before 'Y2J' said that he realizes that Edge is a busy man, but he just has one request for tonight. "It's the same thing that I have been clamoring for every week since I made my return. I want Dean Ambrose one-on-one for the Intercontinental Championship, tonight!" said Jericho as the audience popped. Edge told Jericho that he would grant him his request, but he is unsure of Ambrose's whereabouts. "I'll tell you what, though. Instead, I will grant a Money in the Bank qualifying match tonight against Seth Rollins," said Edge as Jericho accepted the offer.
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #TagTeamMatch | A promo was shown for this Monday's edition of RAW. In a tribute to their former manager Paul Bearer, the Undertaker and Kane will reunite as they take on Wyatt Family members, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. RAW, live this Monday on USA.
Returning from the commercial break, Ryback was shown leaving the arena following his victory when Matt Striker approached him, asking for a response to what Lana just said. "Rusev and Lana want me in Russia? They're going to get the unstoppable force," said Ryback as he continued on, apparently on his way to Russia to get his hands on Rusev once again.
RANDY ORTON & BATISTA DEF. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DOLPH ZIGGLER & DANIEL BRYAN: A huge tag team bout to round out the first hour here on SmackDown. With all four superstars heading into championship matches at WrestleMania, a victory here was a must for momentum. Daniel Bryan was attempting to apply the Yes Lock onto Batista, but the 'Animal' was able to fight out of it and ram Bryan into the corner. Inadvertently, Bryan made the tag to Dolph Ziggler, who was knocked off of the apron. Batista would then roll Ziggler into the ring, delivering a Batista Bomb to pick up the win.
Boos filled the atmosphere as Randy Orton joined Batista in the ring, the two raising their arms in victory. The number one contenders for Wrestling Royalty's WWE Tag Team Championships headed up the entrance ramp after scoring a huge win, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler both getting to their feet back in the ring.
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #MITBQualifier | Returning to Friday Night SmackDown on SyFy, Daniel Bryan was shown walking down a corridor, holding his head after inadvertently colliding with Dolph Ziggler during their tag team match just moments ago. World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler approached him, telling the Royal Rumble winner to be more aware of his surroundings next time. "I realize that you probably don't care that we lost since I took the pinfall, thanks, and you see that as a sign that I am not ready for WrestleMania," said Ziggler. Bryan responded by saying that he isn't bothered by the loss, but he is bothered by Dolph's attitude. "I respect you as a competitor, Dolph, but I am going to WrestleMania for one reason and one reason only: to take that World Heavyweight Championship from you." Bryan and Ziggler continued to go back and forth until they were interrupted by the General Manager, Edge. The 'Rated R Superstar' reminded the two that earlier tonight, he had Cody Rhodes escorted out of the arena to make sure that he does not get involved in Kurt Angle's match tonight against CM Punk. "However, I think that it's only fair if I ask the same from you two," said Edge as security entered the scene. Bryan and Ziggler complied, leaving the arena just as Rhodes did earlier in the evening.
SETH ROLLINS DEF. CHRIS JERICHO TO QUALIFY FOR THE MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: Not being able to get his hands on the Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose tonight, Chris Jericho found himself with the opportunity to qualify for the match that he invented, the Money in the Bank Ladder match. Jericho attempted to deliver a Codebreaker, but Seth Rollins managed to hold onto the top rope. Rollins then placed Jericho in position for a Powerbomb, throwing him into a corner. Jericho staggered into the center of the ring, where he found himself on the receiving end of a Blackout, giving Rollins the victory.
Seth Rollins rolled out of the ring as the audience expressed their displeasure for the outcome of the match. As Rollins made his way up the entrance ramp, he pointed at the Money in the Bank briefcase that he will be battling for at WrestleMania. Back in the ring, Chris Jericho slowly rose to his feet as the audience applauded him for his performance. Suddenly, Dean Ambrose hit the ring through the crowd and caught Jericho with a Knee Trembler! The audience booed Ambrose heavily as the Intercontinental Champion stood tall over Jericho, getting a measure of revenge for the events of RAW this past Monday.
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #SheamusVsCesaro | Following the commercial break, Renee Young was shown backstage with the man who just qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania XXIX, Seth Rollins. Rollins stepped into the picture, all smiles after his victory over Jericho. When asked for his thoughts on qualifying, Rollins said that ever since he stepped foot into a professional wrestling ring, it was never in question whether he would be a future champion. "It's only a matter of time, and when I have the Money in the Bank briefcase in my possession, I will be able to determine-" said Rollins before he drilled with a Spear into the interview set from Roman Reigns! Rollins laid motionless on the floor over the black curtain as Reigns stood to his feet, the "One Man Army" staring down at the man who he still has a score to settle with.
ANTONIO CESARO W/ PAUL HEYMAN DEF. SHEAMUS: One of the other participants in the Money in the Bank Ladder match, United States Champion Derrick Bateman, joined the commentary unit to watch this contest. Antonio Cesaro and Sheamus renewed their rivalry from last year here tonight, punishing one another. As Sheamus was gearing up for a Brogue Kick, Bateman stepped onto the ring apron. He stepped off before the Sheamus could strike him, the 'Celtic Warrior' turning around and walking right into a Swiss Death Uppercut. Cesaro would then plant Sheamus with the Neutralizer, covering him for the victory.
Antonio Cesaro was joined by his agent, Paul Heyman, as the two celebrated this huge victory for the 'Swiss Superman' as he picks up momentum heading into the Money in the Bank Ladder match. Derrick Bateman made his way up the entrance ramp, looking at Cesaro to remind him that he has his sights set on the briefcase as well.
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #Paige | At this time, the entrance music of Paige hit as the audience went wild for the Divas Champion. The "Anti-Diva" made her way down to the ring, preparing to defend her title against AJ Lee at WrestleMania in AJ's home state of New Jersey. Paige took a microphone, saying that ever since arriving in the WWE, it's been a roller coaster ride. "Not even a year separated my coming to the United States and my Divas Championship victory at Survivor Series. And in my first WrestleMania, I will be walking in with this title," said Paige. She then said that she is looking forward to the biggest match of her career on April 7th. "AJ Lee should be my one and only focus right now. However, that's not exactly the case because of a leach in that back known as Kaitlyn. Listen to me, Kaitlyn. I will not have you continue to try and ruin the friendship between AJ and myself any longer. Get out here right now so I can finish this," Paige as she put the microphone down. A few seconds later, Kaitlyn's entrance music hit as she marched down to the ring, laughing at Paige. "Why so hostile, Paige? I'm only trying to help you out. Take it from someone who spent years travelling with AJ as her best friend. She may present herself as the little, perky nerd, but believe me when I tell you that's only a front. Deep down, AJ is a cruel, manipulative, deceiving, crazy witch. You're falling right into her trap. She befriended you for the sole reason of throwing you off of your game so that at WrestleMania, she can crush your dreams and fulfill her own." Paige would then slap Kaitlyn's microphone out of her hand, the 'Hybrid Diva' picking it back up. "Alright. That's fine, Paige. I'm just trying to help you out, but go ahead. Believe that AJ is your friend, fall into her trap and lose your Divas Championship at WrestleMania. Follow in your family's footsteps of ending up a loser and a criminal," said Kaitlyn, which prompted Paige to attack her. The 'Anti-Diva' struck away relentlessly on Kaitlyn, who was able to push Paige away and slide out of the ring. Paige breathed heavily as she looked on Kaitlyn, who backed up the entrance ramp. Suddenly, AJ Lee came running down the aisle, taking Kaitlyn down. AJ delivered a beating to Kaitlyn before picking her up, rolling her back into the ring. Kaitlyn was then cornered by AJ and Paige, nowhere for her to run. AJ would then catch Kaitlyn with a Shining Wizard before locking eyes with Paige. The Divas Champion picked Kaitlyn up off of the canvas, planting her with a Paige Turner. Paige and AJ continued to glare at each other as the former raised the Divas Championship in the air.
Backstage, Kurt Angle was shown walking down a corridor. He meets the WWE Champion CM Punk for the first time ever, next!
|
| COMMERCIAL BREAK | #PunkVsAngle | A promo was shown for WrestleMania XXIX, live Sunday April 7th, only on Pay-Per-View.
WWE CHAMPION CM PUNK W/ PAUL HEYMAN DEF. KURT ANGLE IN A NON-TITLE MATCH: A dream match finally came to fruition for the WWE Universe as the WWE Champion went up against professional wrestling's only Olympic Gold Medalist. Perhaps one of the best television matches in recent memory as Punk and Angle threw everything they had at one another, which Booker T cited as a mistake with WrestleMania so close. As Punk was looking to deliver the Go To Sleep, Angle grabbed his leg and applied the Ankle Lock! Punk scratched and clawed his way to the bottom rope, but Angle pulled him back into the center of the ring! Just when it appeared that the WWE Champion was going to submit, Cody Rhodes appeared on the titantron from outside of the arena. "See how easy it is for me to get into your head, Angle? I don't even have to be in the arena or defy anyone's orders," said Rhodes as he smirked at the camera. Angle, who had released the Ankle Lock, stared at the titantron before the video faded out. Angle was then rolled up by Punk, who was able to secure the victory.
The WWE Universe showered CM Punk with boos as he rolled out of the ring, trying not to put any pressure on the ankle that Kurt Angle had targeted. Paul Heyman gave the 'Best in the World' his WWE Championship back, the two standing tall after a huge victory for Punk in this dream match. Angle made his way to the backstage area, intent on finding Cody Rhodes, who cost him the victory. Angle made his way to the outside of the arena where Rhodes was, but could not locate the 'Prince of Pro Wrestling.' As Angle stood there, Renee Young approached him and asked for a response of any sort to Rhodes. "You know what? I am sick and tired of people like Cody Rhodes telling me that I'm washed up and that I can't win the 'big one' anymore. I'll prove everyone who doubts me wrong. If I don't win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, I will retire from this business for the rest of my life."

good Layout, i'll try it ! #KurtAngle | strong words by Angle at the start of the show and a wise decision by Edge to make the security take Cody outside the arena | #StreetFight | wow, first a Dream match and now a Street Fight between 2 rivals to end their rivalry (not sure), that's huge episode of Smackdown ! and good to see Tyson Kidd in this Money In The Bank Ladder Match, 5 places left ! | #Ryback | good to see Ryback back (lol) and i really hope we see Rusev vs Ryback II, hmmmm i can see Rollins winning in this one
| #TagTeamMatch | i didn't see that coming, i thought Ziggler and Bryan would win a match like that, maybe it's part of Ziggler turning Heel storyline ? | #MITBQualifier | i knew it that Rollins would win, but didn't see it coming that he'll win cleanly, the champ is here ! | #SheamusVsCesaro | hmmmmm, interesting, maybe you're building up a feud between Sheamus and Derrick Bateman after Wrestlemania for the US Title ? | #Paige | after this segment, i think AJ Lee will win the title and Paige turn heel after that | #Dream Match | i knew it that it won't end with decisive win, i think we have the match of the Year ! |

- For Kurt Angle, the match at WrestleMania is now a must-win match, Kurt Angle pretty much putting his career on the line by saying that if he doesn't win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 29 then he will retire, I really really hope Kurt Angle wins the big one at WrestleMania 29 because I for one do not want to see him retire and I for one definitely do not want to see him go anywhere but as for the "Dream Match" between Angle and Punk I knew that this would not end unless it ended in controversy and it did because of Cody Rhodes getting involved, with him showing up on the titantron distracting Angle and Punk taking full advantage, I knew it
- The whole Paige, Kaitlyn, AJ segment I just have a feeling that at WrestleMania 29 AJ Lee will become WWE Divas Champion but then Paige will turn heel on AJ, I just have a feeling Kaitlyn got through to Paige somehow and that there is tension there, only a matter of time before these 2 turn on each other and Kaitlyn whatever she was trying to do she has surely succeeded
- Cesaro beating Sheamus just goes to show us that Cesaro he means business he's surely ready for Money in the Bank and he is the favorite to win it that's for sure but with Bateman then showing up, he also wants the briefcase but there are others who are in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match that they have to go through
- Seth Rollins beating Chris Jericho in order to qualify for Money in the Bank, Rollins has definitely got to be a favorite especially now in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match but I didn't expect Rollins and Jericho to have such a great match, such great in ring chemistry between these 2 men and it showed that's for sure but Ambrose then showing up after the match laying out Jericho, just goes to show you that Ambrose vs Jericho for the WWE Intercontinental Championship will happen and if it does then it will definitely happen at WrestleMania 29
- Orton & Batista beating World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler & Daniel Bryan, I knew Orton & Batista would win this match because they need all the momentum that they can get seeing as how they are facing DiBiase & Hennig at WrestleMania 29 for the WWE Tag Team Championships so a win was definitely needed and knowing DiBiase & Hennig they were watching that's for sure but for Ziggler and Bryan there is much tension between these 2 especially after their loss, I can see Ziggler turning heel but seeing as how he just turned babyface not that long ago, I don't know I guess we'll see
- Ryback may be falling into a trap especially going to Russia to face Lana and Rusev, like doesn't Ryback use his brain? It's a trap and Rusev set it perfectly and he knew Ryback would fall into it, definitely see Ryback vs Rusev II happening at WrestleMania 29 and Ryback beating Fandango if anything this in my book would have to be considered a squash match but if anyone was to be squashed I am glad that it was Fandango
- Tyson Kidd beating his former friend now turned bitter rival Justin Gabriel in a Street Fight to qualify for Money in the Bank, now that Kidd has finally managed to put Gabriel away and finally put him out of his life Kidd can now focus on winning the briefcase but a definite sure-fire way to open up Smackdown, what a great match between these 2 high-flyers
- The orchestral music, it definitely has to be Undertaker returning this Monday but if it is not then it definitely has to be someone else, perhaps The Icon Sting
- But I loved the way you opened up Smackdown with Angle and Rhodes and then the GM Edge having Cody Rhodes thrown out of the arena, what a great move by Edge
- Now there are 6 men in Money in the Bank, Cesaro, Kidd, Sheamus, Reigns, Rollins and Bateman, 4 more spots in Money in the Bank I wonder who will fill those 4 final spots to make up the 10-man Money in the Bank Ladder Match?

| RAW GOING THREE HOURS, BRAND SPLIT NO LONGER IN EFFECT | - Earlier today, March 11th, 2013, WWE issued a press release with major news regarding the future of its programming. Beginning on April 8th, the day following WrestleMania XXIX, two major changes will go into effect. The disregard of the brand split, which was initially said to be only for the Road to WrestleMania, will become a permanent aspect. WWE officials are said to have been happy as of late with the product as a result of the RAW and SmackDown merger and are in favor of seeing it continue for the foreseeable future. In addition, Monday Night RAW, WWE's flagship show, will be extending to three hours. There were rumors last year that the show would receive the extra hour beginning with RAW 1000, though that turned out not to be the case. |

RAW going 3 hours, this is great, and now that the brand split is no longer in effect that means both superstars from RAW and Smackdown could show up on both shows which is perfect and now that RAW is going 3 hours it is even better I wonder if Smackdown will also go 3 hours too?

In memory of William "Paul Bearer" Moody, 1954-2013.
Tonight's edition of Monday Night RAW kicked off with one of the two challenger for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, The Rock, making his way out to a thunderous ovation. Rock took a microphone and said that in his absence last week, CM Punk and John Cena both made promises to the world that they will be walking out of WrestleMania XXIX in MetLife Stadium as the WWE Champion. "Since the Rock is here, let a real promise be made. That promise is that on April 7th, the 'Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment' will walk into New Jersey, lace up his boots, walk down the aisle in front of over 75,000 of the Rock's fans, lay the smackdown on your candy asses and become the new WWE Champion! If ya smell....." said Rock before the lights shut. The vignette that aired on SmackDown last week was shown once again, promoting the return of the "Biggest name in history to headline WrestleMania." This time, the video showed several shots of Hollywood as a voice over asked for quiet on the set. ".....AWESOME!" blared over the PA system as the Miz made his way out to the stage, dressed in a white suit, scarf and sunglasses. The crowd booed heavily, expressing their disappointment for the outcome of the vignette. Miz stepped into the ring, telling Rock that he probably thought that he had seen the last of him by this point. "I would say that the WWE Universe believed that they had seen the last of me because for the about the last month or so, you haven't seen me around here that much. That's because I have been in Hollywood becoming the biggest cross-platform star in WWE history. I just wrapped up yet another movie, and on top of that, my other film, the Marine 3, was released last week and I have been up to my neck with press and media appearances. I'm certain that you never believed you would be standing a ring with a bigger star than yourself, Rock, but really, you should have seen it coming. You should have been able to predict that this would happen when you stood at ringside at WrestleMania XXVII and watched me stand tall over John Cena, the man that you could not beat last year, as the most must see WWE Champion in history. You should have been able to predict this when in Miami for WrestleMania XXVIII, I annihilated your good friend, Mick Foley. Simply put, Rock, I-" said Miz before he was cut off by the arrival of John Cena. Cena made his way down to the ring, telling Miz that none of this concerns him. "You want to promote your movies? Do it on your own time. This is WWE Championship business," said Cena. Miz interjected himself into the mix of things once again, telling Cena that he can't still be bitter about WrestleMania XXVII. "I was the better man that night, Cena, and I still am. There is nobody standing in this ring or in that locker room who is better than me," said Miz. "Cult of Personality" then hit as the WWE Champion, CM Punk, marched down to the ring with his agent, Paul Heyman. Punk walked right past Miz and ignored him, beginning to speak to Rock and Cena. "You're not quite right, Cena. This isn't about WWE Championship business. This is simply about the WWE Champion. The 'Best in the World.' The man who will leave WrestleMania still with the WWE Title intact. You both are wasting your time coming out here and pandering to these mindless people who cannot identify real talent when it's standing right in there face," said Punk as the crowd jeered. Miz would then interrupt Punk, telling him that he is the only real talent standing in everyone's face. "Speaking of face, look at mine. This is the drawing power for the WWE. This is the money maker. This is the reason that millions all over the globe will tune into WrestleMania on April 7th. Not for any of you three. Not for the Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt. Not for-" stated Miz before Punk finally had heard enough of the 'Awesome One,' hosting him up to his shoulders and delivering a Go To Sleep. With Miz still standing groggily, Cena got a hold of him and planted him with an Attitude Adjustment. Miz laid motionless on the canvas as Rock approached him, standing over him as he stared into the sea of WWE Universe members. Rock would then hit Miz with the 'most electrifying move in sports entertainment,' the People's Elbow. Rock stood to his feet as he, Cena and Punk all stared at each other, having just used the Miz as an example of what they are capable of come WrestleMania.
CHRIS JERICHO & ROMAN REIGNS DEF. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION DEAN AMBROSE & SETH ROLLINS After Roman Reigns drilled Seth Rollins with a Spear through the barricade, Chris Jericho was able to dodge a Knee Trembler from Dean Ambrose, catching him with a Codebreaker to pick up the victory. With Jericho now just pinning the Intercontinental Champion, he may have solidified his claim at the opportunity that he has been looking for against Ambrose.
ROB VAN DAM DEF. FANDANGO TO QUALIFY FOR THE MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH Rob Van Dam was able to overcome Fandango and deliver a Five Star Frog Splash for the victory, placing him into the mix of things with Sheamus, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Derrick Bateman, Antonio Cesaro and Tyson Kidd in the Money in the Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania XXIX.
WADE BARRETT DEF. ANTONIO CESARO VIA DISQUALIFICATION With Wade Barrett just weeks away from colliding with the 'Beast Incarante' Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, he was put to the test against another one of Paul Heyman's clients in the first-hour main event. As Barrett was looking to deliver the Bull Hammer Elbow, Heyman grabbed his leg from underneath the bottom rope, giving Antonio Cesaro the opening to strike. Heyman's involvement cost Cesaro the victory, however, but the 'Swiss Superman' was not bothered by the result. Cesaro attempted to deliver a Neutralizer, but Barrett delivered an overhead slam to counter. Barrett tossed Cesaro to ringside, unleashing hell him by taking a steel chair and repeatedly striking him in the back with it. Barrett would then take apart the surface of the announce table, driving Cesaro through it with Wasteland! The WWE Universe roared as Barrett stood over Cesaro with Heyman looking on in shock, the 'Bare Knuckled Brawler' sending a huge message to Brock Lesnar.
Backstage, Renee Young was shown standing by with the United States Champion, Derrick Bateman. She asked the 'Golden Boy' for his thoughts regarding his upcoming title defense against Sheamus this Friday on SmackDown. Bateman stated that it's a travesty for a man like Sheamus to receive an opportunity at the most prestigious championship in the WWE today, his United States Championship. "Sheamus lost his match last week. I would know. I was there at ringside," said Bateman before Renee reminded him that his interference is what cost Sheamus the match. "Listen, Renee. I am a very busy man if you couldn't tell. I have a million better things that I could be doing with my time rather than standing here and being ridiculed by a less-than-" said Bateman before he was cut off by the tune of "Harlem Shake." Sheamus and a plethora of backstage workers then appeared on the screen, standing still around Bateman as the United States Champion looked confused. When the song's beat dropped, Sheamus attacked Bateman while the workers began dancing, taking part in the recent Harlem Shake social media craze. Bateman would escape as Sheamus stared on at him, declaring that the United States Championship would be his come SmackDown on Friday.
THE USOS DEF. DREW MCINTYRE AND JINDER MAHAL With the entire WWE Universe behind them, Jimmy and Jey Uso were able to make short work of 3MB members, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal, finishing off Mahal with a Superfly Splash. As the Usos celebrated their victory, they were attacked from behind by NXT's Corey Graves and Jake Carter. The former NXT Tag Team Champions delivered a brutal assault to the Usos, hitting Jimmy with Bottoms Up. Graves and Carter stood tall as the audience showered them with boos, the two hitting the main roster in a big way on the road to WrestleMania.
A special video package was shown for the Divas Championship match at WrestleMania between Paige and AJ Lee, "New Horizon" by Flyleaf playing in the background. Several current and former Divas were interviewed while highlights of Paige and AJ were shown. Natalya stated that while she has never competed against Paige, she can feel the brutality that she shows all of her opponents. "It would be hard to bet against Paige," said Natalya. Footage from AJ's time in FCW was then shown as Naomi said that she came up into the WWE along with AJ and can honestly say that she has never met anyone more passionate about this business. "Being champion has always been AJ's dream and in her home state at WrestleMania, I think she's going to get the job done." Former WWE Diva, Eve Torres, then appeared, saying that it's no secret that she loathes both Paige and AJ due to the fact that they cost her the Divas Championship, as well as her career. "With that being said, I'm not going to deny that they are two of the best in the division today. Probably ever," said Eve. Footage of Paige on the independent scene in England aired before showing her Divas Championship victory at Survivor Series. Lita was the next to be interviewed, saying that Paige is one of the most talented females to walk through the doors of the WWE. "She has it all. Beauty, ferocity and heart. The same can be said about AJ, however. I can vividly remember meeting a young girl at an autograph signing, tears streaming down her face. And I know that if she becomes Divas Champion at WrestleMania, I'll be the one crying this time," said Lita. A final shot of Paige and AJ staring at each other was shown as WWE Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus, said that she could not be anymore proud of Paige and AJ. "Only one of them will leave victorious at WrestleMania, but so will the WWE Universe. This could be the greatest Divas match in WWE history."
BATISTA W/ RANDY ORTON DEF. WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPION JOE HENNIG W/ TED DIBIASE With their teammates standing by at ringside for this bout, Batista was able to deliver a Batista Bomb to Joe Hennig to pick up the victory. Batista and Randy Orton headed up the entrance ramp with smiles on their faces, the 'Animal' having just picked up momentum by defeating one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions on Wrestling Royalty's 342nd day with the titles.
A graphic was shown to promote SmackDown's main event this Friday. After the events at the top of the broadcast, John Cena will collide with the Miz in a WrestleMania XXVII rematch.
THE UNDERTAKER & KANE DEF. LUKE HARPER & ERICK ROWAN W/ BRAY WYATT In memory of the late Paul Bearer, who unfortunately passed away last week, the Undertaker and Kane teamed up for the first time in over three years to take on Wyatt Family members, Luke Haroer and Erick Rowan. 'Taker and Kane made their way down to the ring with Bearer's signature urn, glancing back at it several times. After Kane was able to take Rowan out of the ring with a Clothesline, Undertaker placed Harper in position for a Tombstone, successfully hitting it and getting the victory. As Undertaker stood to his feet, Kane rolled into the ring with the urn in his possession as he placed it in the center of the ring. Undertaker and Kane kneeled to it as a show of respect to their former manager. Suddenly, the signature of the Wyatt Family hit. When the lights re-emerged, the urn was no longer in the ring. Undertaker and Kane looked up at the stage to see Bray Wyatt with the urn in his hands. Kane stormed out of the ring and up the entrance ramp, but the signature hit once again. When the lights acme back on this time, Wyatt was gone. Kane looked around as 'Taker remained in the ring with an expressionless stare on his face. Bray Wyatt is now in possession of Paul Bearer's urn!
