Wow what a shocking development with Barrett getting injured at a house show and having to relinquish the WWE Championship meaning he has to surrender it, but I wonder what is going to happen now that Punk has put Barrett on the shelf, just what will happen to the WWE Championship match at No Way Out, will Ryder still get his WWE Championship match at No Way Out?
To determine the new WWE Champion, the only way it can be done is by having a tournament to determine just who the new WWE Champion will be, or a Battle Royal to determine the new WWE Champion
I wonder what Barrett will say once he has to relinquish his WWE Championship

- Following the signature WWE intro, we were taken directly to the arena here in Hartford as Michael Cole welcomed everyone to Monday Night RAW. He then informed the viewers of the situation with WWE Champion Wade Barrett. As many already know, Barrett suffered a dislocated elbow this past Saturday at a live event in Spain. Surgery is required to repair the damage, leaving Barrett out of action for an extended period of time. Because of that, RAW General Manager Ric Flair is left with no other option but to strip Barrett of the WWE Championship.
- The theme of Wade Barrett hit as the WWE Champion made his way out to the stage, one arm in a sling and the other carrying the WWE Championship for the final time. He stepped into the ring, placing the title on the mat as he was handed a microphone. Barrett said that in this business, there are several risks involved. "And unfortunately for me, I was the victim of one this past weekend." The audience booed Barrett as he addressed them. "I know you all are rather delighted to see me in pain, and you should all be ashamed of yourselves. I put my body on the line each and every night. Not for you all, because quite frankly, I couldn't care any less about the sea of rubbish that stands in front of me every time I come out here. I do this for the money, the fame, and the championship gold. And I have obtained all of that. But now, an injury is going to force me to relinquish the most valuable of those three - the WWE Championship." The audience cheered at that moment, further angering Barrett. "Do you all have no class?! Something I have fought for is about to be pried out of my hands, and you all celebrate?! You know what? I'm almost glad that I won't have to see the WWE Universe every week now because you all make me sick to my damn stomach!" As Barrett berated the audience, Assistant General Manager Brad Maddox made his way down to the ring. He said that Flair was supposed to do this, but he's running a bit late. And to get the show going, he needs Barrett to hand over the WWE Championship now. "Are you kidding me? I'm not going to hand the WWE Title to a janitor. If Flair wants to strip me of this title, I want him to do it face to face, man to man." Maddox tried to reason with Barrett, but the WWE Champion simply refused to hand him the title. Seconds later, Ric Flair's theme hit as the RAW GM quickly walked down to the ring. Maddox stepped to the side as Flair came face to face with Barrett, just as he had requested. The two stared at one another for a bit before Barrett slowly handed over the WWE Title. Flair took possession of it as Barrett picked his microphone back up. "I want the world to understand something before I go. This is only temporary. Flair, you can do whatever pleased you with that title. When this injury is a fragment of the past, I WILL be WWE Champion once again." Barrett threw the microphone to the mat as he headed up the entrance ramp. The WWE Championship was shown in the hands of Flair as it has been officially vacated.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, a recap of the opening segment was shown as Wade Barrett officially relinquished the WWE Championship due to an injury. General Manager Ric Flair will make an announcement later on tonight regarding the fate of the WWE Title.
- JOHN CENA DEF. JACK SWAGGER W/ AW: A very good bout to kick off Monday Night RAW. With just six days until his encounter with Dolph Ziggler at No Way Out, Cena was looking to gain some momentum at the All American American's expense. The newest client of All World Promotions looked very impressive here, taking Cena to a great thirteen minute match. In the end, Swagger's attempt at the Gutwrench Powerbomb was countered into the Attitude Adjustment, giving Cena the victory.
- The audience popped as Cena stood to his feet, throwing his arms in the air in victory. As he was celebrating, the theme of Dolph Ziggler hit as Mr. Money In The Bank made his way out to the stage. Ziggler told Cena that a victory is probably nothing new to him, but he should cherish this win. "Because it's going to be your last for a while, if not ever. Sunday, John, I'm not just going to beat you, I'm taking everything from you. After I beat you, I'll be the new poster boy. All of the fame, fortune, and accolades will all be mine. After Sunday, no longer will Monday Night RAW be the 'John Cena Show,' because the Show Off is cutting your show off. And you're all looking at the new face of the WWE." Cena remained in the ring as he stared down Ziggler, ready to take it to Mr. Money In The Bank Sunday at No Way Out.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, we were treated to another segment featuring R-Truth, David Otunga, and Dr. Shelby. Otunga was explaining to Shelby how Truth received amnesia, to which Shelby asked "So he doesn't know who Little Jimmy is anymore?" "Lil' Jimmy? Who's that? He sounds like a charming young lad!" said Truth. "He doesn't exist," said Otunga. "He's not sexist? I need to meet him!" said Truth as he left the room to search for Lil' Jimmy. Otunga then told Dr. Shelby that he needs to take care of Truth here on out, because he's done with all of this. "Truth has no memory. He doesn't remember that he ever came to me for a lawsuit. My work here is done. Now it's up to you to fix him."
- At ringside, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler were shown sharing a few laughs at the previous segment. Cole then reminded the viewers at home that last week, RAW General Manager Ric Flair stated that there would be a major announcement tonight. Cole said that he was given the honor of announcing that on July 23rd, Monday Night RAW will celebrated a milestone in television history - its 1000th episode.
- The theme of Christian his as he made his way down to the ring. A replay from the King of the Ring finals last week was shown, where United States Champion Evan Bourne cost Christian the match. Captain Charisma said that last Monday should have been one of the biggest nights of his career. Ever since the People Power days, there's been some competition between he and Evan Bourne in terms of who is better. "Last week, I proved that I am better when I beat Bourne in the Semi-Finals. And I was on my way to winning the King of the Ring tournament, and a championship match at SummerSlam." The complexion of Christian's promo then changed from there. "But that didn't happen, and it's all because of Bourne. He couldn't handle the fact that-" Christian was then interrupted by the arrival of Evan Bourne. The United States Champion made his way down to the ring, daring Christian to finish. "Go on. You were saying something?" said Bourne. "What I was about to say was that you couldn't handle the fact that I am better than you. I know it, the world knows it, you know it. Hell, even John Laurinaitis knew it." Bourne was perplexed at that moment, Christian clarifying the statement for him. "During the days of People Power, why do you think I was the one in the main events. Why did I face CM Punk at the Royal Rumble? Why did I get a United States Championship match at WrestleMania. Why were you demoted on our team at Extreme Rules. Because you're just not that good, Evan. And I'm better than you." Bourne was fuming as he exploded at Christian. He told Captain Charisma that he's simply jealous of the fact that he is the star on the rise. He told Christian that his time has come and gone, and it's all thanks to one man. "CM Punk said it better than anyone else. Your only claim to fame is being second best to Edge." Christian looked down with a smirk on his face, Bourne all smiles as he thought he had gotten the better of him. Christian retaliated, however. "Whatever way to want to look at it Bourne, you're wrong. My claim to fame is being the man who helped revolutionize the letters TLC. I'm a multi time Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and World Heavyweight Champion. And unlike you, my claim to fame wasn't being John Laurinaitis' b***h!" The audience popped as Bourne stared at Christian with his eyes wide opened. He turned away for a bit, planning out his next move. Bourne then quickly turned around and swung the United States Championship at Christian's head, only to miss. Christian took Bourne down and started hammering away with rights and lefts as the audience went wild. Bourne was able to get Christian off of him, but was hit with a Spear. Bourne quickly rolled out of the ring, grabbing his United States Championship while holding his ribs. The audience cheered on Christian as he stood tall in the ring, calling for Bourne to get back in finish what they started.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, General Manager Ric Flair and his assistant Brad Maddox were shown in their office, presumably discussing the situation with the vacant WWE Championship. At that moment, United States Champion Evan Bourne walked into the room. "Evan, just the man I wanted to see." Bourne asked Flair if he saw what happened out there? "Christian was completely out of line! I thought we were friends, and he just stabs me in the back like a coward! He needs to punished," cried Bourne. "You're right," said Flair. "Christian should be punished. So I'll tell you what I'm going to do. It's going to be Evan Bourne one on one with Christian for the United States Championship this Sunday at No Way Out!" The audience erupted as Bourne was livid, saying that's not what he meant. "Barrett was right. You're completely incompetent of doing your job!" shouted Bourne. "I already took one championship tonight. Do you enjoy being a champion, Bourne?" asked Flair. Bourne remained silent, storming out of the room as the match for Sunday is now official.
- Cutting to the arena, Santino Marella was shown in the ring already. The theme of Bray Wyatt hit as the eerie and mysterious superstar made his way out to the stage for his second match here on RAW. "My children, I am home! Suffering and agony is nonexistent now that Bray Wyatt has stepped into the land of the doomed. And that's the problem right now. We're in the land of the doomed. But I'm sure it'll ease your spirits to know that it's only temporary. Soon, the land of the doomed will become the promise land. And allow me to take your hand and lead you all into the promise land! Haha......I too talk to a puppet, Mr. Marella. But I don't just talk to it. I pull its strings. I twist and turn it into a-whole-nother contraption. A contraption I call 'Cult Wyatt.' You all think you're in the WWE Universe? No no no, my children. You're all proud members of the Cult Wyatt. And under my guidance, no longer will you sit through childish attempts at comedy like Mr. Marella here. You will all be exposed to the true testaments of the world. Cult Wyatt, you all are now....haha....tiiiiime is on my siiiide."
- BRAY WYATT DEF. SANTINO MARELLA: Similar to his first bout, Bray Wyatt showcased an incredibly eerie and uncomfortable presence. After taking out Santino with a corner splash, Wyatt grabbed the Cobra and began to breathe into it as if it were an paper bag. "Welcome to my cult" said Wyatt before gently placing the Cobra on the mat. He then planted Santino with a Swinging Reverse STO, which the announce team referred to as the "Bray Baptism." Wyatt covered Santino to get the victory.
- A graphic appeared for Ric Flair's announcement of the fate of the WWE Championship. We will hear from the Nature Boy on the matter, next.

- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. Just two days before the World Heavyweight Championship is defended inside of a Steel Cage, Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee cordially invites the WWE Universe to their wedding. Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, the theme of Ric Flair hit as the RAW General Manager and his assistant, Brad Maddox, made their way out to the ring, the WWE Championship in Flair's hands. He handed the title to Maddox as he grabbed a microphone. "When I call your name, come out to the ring immediately. Zack Ryder." The crowd popped as the No.1 Contender made his way out to the ring. With his title match against Wade Barrett called off for No Way Out, nerves have to running through Ryder at the moment. "The Miz." The mood of the Hartford crowd changed as they showered the Awesome One with boos. He stepped into the ring, staring at both Ryder and the WWE Championship. ".......CM Punk" said Flair as the audience erupted for the 'Best in the World.' Punk made his way down to the ring as he came face to face with the man he meets at No Way Out on Sunday. Flair thanked the three of them for being here. "Ryder, I know you've been dying to hear from me on this. You are the No.1 contender. And for my money, I think you would've been crowned the new WWE Champion against Barrett. I had to consider you when making my decision." The Nature Boy then turned to Miz and Punk. "You two are going to step into the Steel Cage on Sunday, and most likely, tear one another apart. There's no doubt that whoever comes out victorious would've been next in line for a title opportunity." Flair asked for the WWE Title as Maddox handed it back to him. "Wade Barrett's injury has opened a door for you three. Miz, Punk, I hope you two have room for one more on Sunday. Because at No Way Out. It's going to be a Triple Threat match! Zack Ryder vs. The Miz vs. CM Punk inside of a Steel Cage! The winner will become the new WWE Champion." The audience went wild at the announcement as cameras focused on the Steel Cage structure, which was on display here in the arena. "But I'm not done. The reason I was a little late to the show tonight is because I was doing business. I've pulled the strings, and it may be a bit last minute, but I made it happen. They're here, and I'm pleased to announce tonight's main event. The Miz, Daniel Bryan, and Dean Ambrose vs. Zack Ryder, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, and CM Punk!" Another huge ovation came for this announcement as Flair and Maddox made their way up the entrance ramp. Punk, Ryder, and Miz all remained in the ring, staring down each other as this Sunday, they will meet in a Steel Cage match to crown a new WWE Champion!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Following the commercial break, a recap of the previous segment was shown, featuring a monstrous announcement from General Manager Ric Flair. This Sunday at No Way Out, CM Punk, The Miz, and Zack Ryder will do battle inside of a Steel Cage to crown a new WWE Champion. Plus, tonight's main event will see the two Steel Cage matches set for Sunday implode. The Miz, Daniel Bryan, and Dean Ambrose will take on Zack Ryder, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, and CM Punk..
- Backstage, the Miz was shown walking towards his locker room when Josh Mathews approached him, asking for his thoughts on Ric Flair's announcement. Miz said that this situation is perfect for him. "Because now, I can kill three birds with one stone. I can humiliate CM Punk inside of the Steel Cage like I had already planned. I may not have any personal issues with Zack Ryder, but I will be glad to embarrass him just a few miles away from his hometown. And on top of all of that, I have the opportunity to become the most must see two time WWE Champion in history." When Miz turned around, he was met by Wade Barrett. "That's a great plan, Miz. But there is one reason why you should hope that you don't walk out of No Way Out with the WWE Championship. Because when I put this injury behind me, it'll be your ass that collides with the new and improved Barrett Barrage."
- BETH PHOENIX DEF. MAXINE: A very solid Diva's bout here. Maxine was given a ton of offense here, able to showcase her talents against the No. 1 contender for the Diva's Championship on Sunday. However, the strength of the Glamazon was too much for her to overcome, falling victim to the Glam Slam to give Beth the victory.
- Following the match, Diva's Champion Eve, who was on commentary, made her way into the ring. She attempted to speak, but Beth yanked the microphone out of her hands. "Eve, whatever it is you have to say, I don't care to hear. Right now, you need to listen to me. This Sunday, you may think you have everything figured out. You're going to get another cheap win over me and send me packing. That's not what's going to happen. What's going to happen is I'm going to tear you apart, become the new Diva's Champion, and leave No Way Out with my career intact. This is not the last time you will see Beth Phoenix on RAW. This is just the last time you'll her without the Diva's Championship." Beth shoved the microphone into Eve's chest, leaving up the entrance ramp as she looked back at the champion. Is Sunday the night Beth Phoenix reclaims the Diva's Championship, or the night of her final match?
- Backstage, Daniel Bryan was shown walking around the area, handing out wedding invitations to random workers. He was then met by CM Punk, who asked where his invitation was?" Yeah, I don't think you're on the guest list." Punk chuckled to himself. "So what? We've known each other for all these years and I don't get an invite to your wedding? I mean, it's supposed to be the best day of your life, and I would think you want your best friend there," said Punk. "We're not even friends, Punk. I have no friends. I don't need any friends. All I need is the love of my life, Mrs. AJ Lee Bryan." Punk told Bryan that first of all, he hopes AJ doesn't pick up that name because it just sounds atrocious. "Secondly, I can just picture the nerdy kids you two would produce. And I would hope that they don't turn out to be like their father. A weak, ridiculous coward who hides behind a 95-pound girl for the sole purpose of becoming World Heavyweight Champion." Bryan told Punk that he's not the saint that he pretends to be. He's treated women before with no respect whatsoever. "Have I manipulated women before? Probably. But have I hid behind them to further my own career? No? I don't need to. Because I'm the best in the world. And I would've expected better from someone as talented as yourself, Daniel."

- Returning to Monday Night RAW, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler quickly recapped what has been an explosive edition of Monday Night RAW, along with the announcement that prior to No Way Out this Sunday, Kofi Kingston will take on Johnny Curtis on the YouTube pre-show.
- BRODUS CLAY DEF. HUNICO: A simple bout here to give some momentum to the Funkasaurus. In the end, a dazed Hunico was hit with What The Funk, giving Brodus the victory.
- The audience popped as Brodus stood to his feet, the Funkadactyls joining him in the ring. As the funky trio danced in celebration, they were interrupted by the voice of Bray Wyatt. "Look, look, look! Everybody look! It's lost souls! Haha......I like lost souls." Brodus and the Funkadactyls were confused as they stared at Wyatt. "I can see the pain in your eyes. I can see that you yearn for something with meaning. If a shooting star fell at this precise moment, you'd wish for a meaningful life. And perhaps that scenario is reality, because I'm your shooting star!" Wyatt stepped into the ring, walking past Brodus and confronting Cameron and Naomi. "You two are lost in this world! With no hope, I have come to say you! Join me and everyone else here listening with both ears! Follow me into Cult Wyatt! No longer will you live this life of misery. For once, meaning will exist in your lives" Brodus Clay then turned Bray Wyatt around, confronting him and allowing Cameron and Naomi to leave the ring. "Now, now, I don't want any violence.....okay, I'm lying," said Wyatt as he leveled Brodus in the skull with the microphone. He stomped away on Brodus as the Funkadactyls left up the entrance ramp, though Wyatt didn't seem to notice. He picked Brodus up from the mat, kissing him on the forehead before planting him with the Bray Baptism. Wyatt stood over Brodus as he laughed maniacally, the audience booing the leader of the Cult Wyatt.
- Backstage, Zack Ryder was shown in his locker room preparing for tonight's huge Six Man Tag main event. At that moment, Wade Barrett walked into the room. "I hope you realize how lucky you are, Ryder. There's no doubt that I would have beaten you to a pulp at No Way Out, shattering your WWE Championship hopes and dreams in front of your friends and family. But now that the landscape has changed, your chances of victory have only marginally increased." Ryder told Barrett that he didn't have a doubt in his mind when they were scheduled to compete, and he still doesn't have a doubt. "This Sunday, I will prove the world wrong and become the new WWE Champion." Ryder put his headband on as he made his way out of the room.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, John Cena was shown leaving the arena, passing by several workers and greeting them. He was then approached by Josh Mathews, who asked for this thoughts on Dolph Ziggler's words from earlier tonight. Cena said that it was nothing that he hasn't heard already. "Everyone wants to be the face of the WWE. Otherwise there wouldn't be anybody here. Dolph is talented, but I'm not just going to lay down for him on Sunday. If Ziggler wants the spotlight, now is is opportunt-" at that moment, Cena was struck from behind by Ziggler's Money In The Bank briefcase. He knelt down and told Cena that the spotlight is already on him. "And Sunday, it's going to shine brighter than ever before. The tables have turned, John. Now your time is up, and my time is now." Ziggler stared down at Cena for a bit before leaving the scene, leaving Cena motionless on the floor.
- Returning to ringside, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler quickly ran down the card for No Way Out. For the United States Championship, Evan Bourne defends against Christian. For the Intercontinental Championship, Antonio Cesaro defends against the Big Show. Beth Phoenix will put her career on the line against Eve's Diva's Championship. The WWE Tag Team Titles will be up for grabs in a Street Fight as Ted DiBiase and McGillicutty defend against Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. John Cena battles Dolph Ziggler. Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho meet for Cody's SummerSlam title opportunity. In a Steel Cage match for the World Heavyweight Championship, Randy Orton defends against Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose. And finally, a new WWE Champion will be crowned as CM Punk, The Miz, and Zack Ryder wage war in a Steel Cage match. No Way Out is live this Sunday from East Rutherford, New Jersey.
- Backstage, CM Punk was shown making his way down to the ring when he was confronted by Wade Barrett. The two simply stared at each other for a bit before Barrett broke the silence. "You did this to me. You know, I actually hope you win the WWE Championship on Sunday. So then when I'm ready to go, I can extract my revenge and take back what's rightfully mine." Barrett walked away as Punk looked on at him. He needs to get focused for the Six Man Tag main event, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for No Way Out, live this Sunday, only on pay per view.
- WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RANDY ORTON, CM PUNK, AND ZACK RYDER FOUGHT THE MIZ, DANIEL BRYAN, AND DEAN AMBROSE TO A NO CONTEST: An absolutely chaotic main event to close out RAW and send things into No Way Out on Sunday. The two Steel Cage matches imploded here as there were clear hints of dissension among both teams. As Bryan had Punk in the Yes Lock, Orton jumped in to intervene for his team. This led to Dean Ambrose getting involved, followed by Zack Ryder and then the Miz.
- At that point, the match was seemingly thrown out the window as six men battle one another. As the brawl was occurring, the audience erupted. It was then shown that the Steel Cage was descending! The Cage structure reached ground level as all six men were locked inside, still waging war. Who will leave the Steel Cage this Sunday as the World Heavyweight Champion, and the new WWE Champion?

RAW Review
Barrett having to relinquish the WWE Championship, I literally felt bad for Barrett because he doesn't deserve this but now that he is leaving because he is injured, when he comes back, hopefully he will become WWE Champion once again but hopefully to hype up Barrett's return, you can have him become like the Wade Barrett of now, basically becoming the Fight Club type becoming the bare-knuckle fighting Barrett of today with his Bull Hammer Elbow becoming more aggressive and ruthless in the ring but loved his promo of him saying that even though he is relinquishing his title, when he comes back, whoever the champion is, they better look out because when he gets back he is coming for that WWE Championship and I have no doubt that he will
I see Barrett back by Survivor Series in your diary, or at the latest he comes back at your December pay per view of Vengeance
Cena beating Swagger in a great match-up, Swagger has been on quite the losing streak as of late even with AW in his corner, but that is why hopefully you write Swagger off of TV for a while and when you bring him back, you can bring him back as a powerhouse heel or face
But I love Ziggler's promo about his match with Cena and I hope Ziggler does win at No Way Out
R-Truth/Dr Shelby segment I have to admit was pretty funny and also with Otunga too
And RAW 1000 on July 23rd I definitely cannot wait until then and hopefully we see returns from The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Road Dogg & Billy Gunn, X-Pac, Kevin Nash, Edge, etc.
Christian vs Bourne for No Way Out for the WWE United States Championship, I for one hope Christian does win the title at No Way Out because Bourne has been WWE United States Champion for far too long in my opinion and it is time Christian finally wins something again
Bray Wyatt wins again, hopefully this means you build up quite the undefeated streak for this man, he beats Santino Marella in dominating fashion, this man definitely needs a push within this coming year or even in 2013
Flair making the announcement that at No Way Out it is going to be a Triple-Threat Steel Cage match to determine the new WWE Champion and the 3 men in this match will be Zack Ryder, The Miz and CM Punk, now things just got a whole hell of a lot more interesting now
But that the main event for tonight is a 6-man tag with Ryder, Punk, and Orton vs Miz, Ambrose and Bryan, I definitely cannot wait for that
Miz's backstage promo, definitely loved that and what I loved even more was Wade Barrett interrupting him and coming into the shot telling Miz that if he should become WWE Champion after No Way Out, when Barrett gets back and if he is still WWE Champion, for Miz to watch his back, I loved it, Barrett warning Miz and if Miz were smart he would be taking Barrett's warning for what it's worth and or he should be afraid of Barrett
Beth Phoenix beating Maxine and then cutting that emotional promo right after her match, I for one hope Beth stays and that she wins the WWE Divas Championship from Eve
Bryan's backstage segment with CM Punk if anything was a pipebomb in that of itself with Punk delivering the biggest pipebomb to Bryan imaginable and I wonder if that will either come back to haunt Punk later or if putting Bryan in his place will take him off his game mentally even more so now that No Way Out is just around the corner

Brodus Clay manages to win a match finally, by beating Hunico but then Bray Wyatt comes out and he pretty much is out there to save Cameron and Naomi but then knowing where it's going Brodus Clay manages to save them from Bray Wyatt but as soon as they leave the ring, Wyatt attacks Brodus leaving him laying, the man just continues to make statements, I wonder just who is next in his quest to save the WWE from lost souls, if Wyatt went after Cena, nothing would make me happier, I can't stand John Cena, I hate this man so badly
Cena being attacked by Ziggler backstage, I loved it, it was awesome, Ziggler is picking up momentum yet again at Cena's expense and whoever the World Heavyweight Champion is at No Way Out should take notice because Ziggler could cash in his briefcase and if and when he does, Ziggler could become the new World Heavyweight Champion
The No Way Out card being ran down, I love it, it almost makes me want to make my predictions now about the pay per view and just who wins each match
CM Punk is about to get ready for his match only for Barrett to interrupt him warning Punk but also blaming him too for injuring him and he hopes Punk wins and I for one hope he does too because then CM Punk can begin his long title reign and he can turn heel in the process aligning himself with Paul Heyman
And the main event itself just ending in chaos as it goes to a no contest, definitely loved that
And I for one cannot wait until NXT and Smackdown and then No Way Out itself

- Following the signature WWE intro, General Manager Ricardo Rodriguez was shown in his office when Kassius Ohno walked in. Ohno told Ricardo that in case he hasn't been paying attention, he's become a big deal as of late. "Since the re-launch of NXT, I have been tearing through the competition, caving in the heads of the masses with my elbow. And last week, I became the first NXT superstar to ever compete on RAW or SmackDown. And it wasn't in just a match. It was in the King of the Ring tournament. I am above everyone else on this roster, and that includes your NXT Champion, Damien Sandow." Ricardo told Ohno that he recognizes his work as of late. And while it is very, very impressive, he wants to know what his point is. "Here's my point. John Cena is here tonight, and I don't care what his purpose is. I want him one on one in that ring." Ricardo seemed a bit taken back at the monstrous proposal that Ohno laid out for him. But at the same time, the General Manager was a fan of it as he shook Ohno's hand and made the match official. The audience in Full Sail University popped as tonight, for the first time ever, John Cena will go one on one with Kassius Ohno.
- ELIMINATION CHASE QUALIFIER - ALEX RILEY DEF. COREY GRAVES: A solid bout to kick off what is sure to be a monumental edition of NXT, coming off of Ricardo Rodriguez's announcement regarding the main event. It was also announced by the commentary unit that over the next four weeks, a series of qualifying matches will take place for an Elimination Chase, in which the winner will be named the No.1 contender for the NXT Championship. As Corey was going for a Crossbody, Riley caught him and planted him with the TKO to get the victory.
- The audience popped as Alex Riley stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. Corey Graves rolled out of the ring, clearly disappointed at the fact that he is once again out of luck when it comes to receiving an NXT Championship match. The celebration with Riley and Full Sail University continued on, however, as he will be moving on to the Elimination Chase in about four weeks to determine a new No.1 contender.
- Backstage, Summer Rae was shown walking towards the ring, clearly in fear at what awaits her. As she was walking, Sofia Cortez, Audrey Marie, and Caylee Turner were shown near a TV monitor as they looked on at Summer. It would appear that the NXT Divas will also be watching in hopes that Summer gets what's coming to her. The former Assistant GM meets the woman she denied a contract, Paige, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. Two nights before the World Heavyweight Championship is decided inside of a Steel Cage, Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee cordially invite the WWE Universe to their wedding. Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- PAIGE DEF. SUMMER RAE VIA DISQUALIFICATION: The Full Sail University audience was firmly behind Paige, the "Anti Diva" finally receiving the opportunity that she feels has been hers as along. Summer tried to make amends with her, but Paige wouldn't comply as she nearly tore Summer apart. She let out a huge scream as she lifted Summer into position for what looked to be a Cradle DDT. However, she was attacked from behind by Tamina as the official called for the bell.
- Everyone in the arena watched in shock as WWE Diva Tamina stomped away on Paige, all while Summer Rae stood to her feet. She watched on as Paige was hit in the center of the ring with the Superfly Splash. Tamina stared down at the Anti Diva as Summer raised her arm in the air, the audience booing the unlikely duo.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. In his first appearance on NXT, WWE superstar John Cena will go one on one with Kassius Ohno.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, the RAW Rebound was shown. At a live event in Spain over the weekend, Wade Barrett suffered a severe elbow injury, putting him on the shelf for a number of months. As a result, the first ever English-born champion was forced to relinquish his WWE Championship. In turn, General Manager Ric Flair announced that at No Way Out on Sunday, there will be a Triple Threat match inside of a Steel Cage. Zack Ryder, The Miz, and CM Punk will all do battle to crown a new WWE Champion.
- Returning to NXT, a recap of the previous match was shown as WWE Diva Tamina made a surprise appearance, taking out Paige and siding with Summer Rae. What is the explanation behind this unlikely alliance, and how will the "Anti Diva" respond?
- Cutting to the arena, Jim Ross was shown in the ring as he introduced the man who many believe was screwed out of the NXT Championship a few weeks back, Seth Rollins. The crowd erupted as Rollins made his way out to the stage, showing the same serious tone that we saw last week. After stepping into the ring, Rollins was asked by Ross for his thoughts on the whole situation that involved him being eliminated from the NXT Championship tournament without actually being pinned. "I'm not usually one to complain, JR, but I think we can all agree that my elimination was nothing but crap." The audience seemed to agree with Rollins as he continued. "I'm not the first to accidentally harm an official, but I was the first to have to pay for it. I know the referee was doing his job, but I don't agree with his decision. Sandow is walking around here, claiming to be the NXT Champion. But I stand by what I said last week. Until he pins my shoulders to the mat or makes me submit, he isn't a champion." Rollins received another great reaction from Full Sail University until the theme of Damien Sandow hit. The reigning NXT Champion made his way out to the stage with a microphone already in hand. "Since there seems a lack of reasoning and understanding in all of this, allow me to be the voice of reason by reiterating my statements from last week. The official documented records for our bout, Rollins, reads that I indeed defeated you. This fictional rule that you assert, claiming that you must be defeated via pinfall of submission, is irrelevant. You placed your hands on an innocent, defenseless official. And justice was served as your actions resulted in your exile from the tournament. And, I would like to reiterate another statement from last week. No, sir. You may not be the recipient of an NXT Championship match." Rollins told Sandow that no matter what he says or how he says it, he can't escape the truth. "I should be NXT Champion right now. And I won't rest until I have what I want!" said Rollins. "Well then I unfortunately must inform you that sleepless times are upon you. Because an NXT Championship match is not in your foreseeable future. No amount of protest will result in you receiving what you're clamoring for, Seth......you're welcome." Sandow made his way to the back as the crowd continued to shower him with boos, Seth Rollins looking on in anger.
- Backstage, Kassius Ohno was shown making his way down to the ring. He meets John Cena for the first time ever, next!

- A promo was shown for No Way Out, live this Sunday, only on pay per view.
- JOHN CENA DEF. KASSIUS OHNO: An absolutely incredible main event bout here. Definitely in the running for match of the year thus far in WWE. The match looked to be over when Ohno's KO Elbow was countered into an STF attempt. Ohno managed to kick Cena away, sending him back-first into the turnbuckles. With Cena stunned momentarily, Ohno caught him with a KO Elbow. However, Cena managed to get his foot on the bottom rope. Ohno patiently waited as Cena stirred back up to his feet. When he turned around, Ohno attempted another Elbow. This time, it was countered into an Attitude Adjustment. To the shock of the WWE Universe, Ohno kicked out! Cena was stunned himself at the resiliency of Ohno. He went for another Attitude Adjustment, but Ohno slid out of Cena's grasp and locked him in a Cravate. He kept the hold locked in as Cena faded. Ohno released Cena once he passed out. Ohno lifted him up to his feet, mocking Cena by doing his "You can't see me" hand gesture. Ohno went for one final KO Elbow, but Cena dodged it. He then hoisted Ohno up to his shoulders and planted him with a second Attitude Adjustment, this time to seal the victory.
- A mixed reaction emerged from the audience as John Cena stirred to his feet, raising his arms in victory after an extremely grueling battle. The commentary unit put over Kassius Ohno's performance, citing his kick out of the Attitude Adjustment as a sign of his resiliency. Cena handed out his wristbands to members of the audience before posing one final time on the stage, ready to do battle with Dolph Ziggler Sunday at No Way Out.

NXT Review
- I love Kassius Ohno's promo that he cut with the NXT GM Ricardo Rodriguez, loved it, Ohno is so above being in NXT that he would be better utilized on Smackdown or RAW either as an upper-midcard heel or an upper-midcard face on either show because he doesn't need NXT anymore to be honest and I am glad that he wants to step up to the plate to face Cena, this could possibly be the match that puts him on the map
- Alex Riley beats Corey Graves in the Elimination Chase, one step closer to becoming a future #1 Contender for Damien Sandow's NXT Championship
- Summer is in trouble and I for one cannot wait until she finally gets what is coming to her at the hands of Paige but at the same time I smell a rat, I somehow see Summer getting out of this unscathed
- I was right, Summer gets out of this unscathed but just barely because of Tamina Snuka helping her out, and costing Paige the match attacking her and then raising Summer's hand, I think this unholy alliance would work wonders for the 2 of them
- I wonder what Tamina and Summer Rae's alliance is all about but I hope we get an explanation
- Loved the NXT Champion Damien Sandow showing up when he did and telling Rollins that he will not receive a WWE NXT Championship match in his future and just demeaning Rollins at every turn, I just enjoy Sandow because he is just so damn funny especially with the promos he cuts and then saying You're Welcome each and every time, but I somehow see Rollins attacking Sandow at every turn until he gives in giving him a title match
- Definite match of the year candidate between Kassius Ohno and John Cena, they showed me just why they have definite chemistry in the ring together, so many counters and reversals in this match and Cena coming out on top, this match put Ohno on the map for sure and I just hope Ohno is traded to either RAW or Smackdown now especially now after this match-up he has just had with Cena

Before I go on with this show, I wanted to take this time to thank every one who not only voted for me, but who has helped me out so much on the boards. Winning Diary of the Year means so much to me, because this is a hobby that I truly enjoy. And truthfully, I had no long term plans for this diary, which I think is evident by the gap between my first RAW and SmackDown. It wasn't even originally a 2011 when I was creating the post. But the responses from everyone, specifically Dan and Elliot, was enough for me to continue on and I see where I landed. 2013 is going to be a rough year for me. This is the year I graduate High School, go on to College, and hopefully, begin my training to become a professional wrestler myself. Tonight, just two days before Bryan competes inside of a Steel Cage for the World Heavyweight Championship, he and AJ cordially invite the WWE Universe to their wedding ceremony.
- Cutting immediately to the arena here in Manchester, New Hampshire, the theme of Daniel Bryan hit as the audience showed their disapproval for the man of the night. Bryan made his way out to the stage, repeatedly shouting "Yes!" at the hostile crowd. He said that tonight will not only be the greatest night of his life, but the greatest night in the history of the WWE. "You will all see the true power couple of sports entertainment be joined together in holy matrimony. Not Elizabeth and Savage. Not Triple H and Stephanie. Not Edge and Lita. Me and AJ! Yes! Yes! Yes!" shouted Bryan repeatedly. "And because of tonight's special occasion, Teddy Long has been kind enough to present me with a wedding gift. To make sure there will be no shenanigans, me and AJ will hold our wedding inside of the Steel Cage." The Cage structure was shown hanging high above the ring, which will also be used in two nights for the Triple Threat World Heavyweight Championship match. "And on top of that, I was also allowed to make a match. Randy Orton will go one on one with Tensai." The audience had a mixed reaction for that announcement. Bryan sarcastically thanked everyone before parting ways. But before he could leave, the theme of Dean Ambrose hit as he made his way out to the stage.
- Ambrose and Bryan stared down one another before the psychotic superstar broke the silence. "And what about my match, Daniel?" Bryan then told Ambrose that he schedule anything important for him because he isn't worth the time. "I'm not going to waste any valuable time on the day of my wedding for a nut job." "So you call me a nut job, yet you're marrying one later tonight," said Ambrose. Bryan told him that he has no idea what he means. "AJ isn't crazy. She's a sweetheart! And how dare you talk about my fiance like that?!" shouted Bryan. Ambrose said that AJ is crazy because she's still with Bryan. "All of the abuse you've put upon her is bolted up inside. Trust me, I know. Right now, AJ wants nothing more than to rip your head off, turn you upside down, and allow all of your organs to spill onto the earth. She may not know it yet, but I guarantee you that tonight, all of the emotions and pent up aggression will be let out," said Ambrose. "But keep this in the back of your mind, Daniel. Tonight is not going to be the worst night of your life. That comes this Sunday when you'll be locked inside of a Steel Cage with two people who share two common goals - bash your damn head in and leave New Jersey with the World Heavyweight Championship!" The audience actually applauded Ambrose as he marched down to the ring, leaving an angered Bryan on the stage. Ambrose said that since Daniel wasn't kind enough to book him in a match tonight, he's taking matters into his own hands and is issuing an open challenge. Ambrose waited patiently in the ring until the theme of Chris Jericho hit. Y2J made his way down to the ring, accepting the challenge of the psychotic superstar.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- DEAN AMBROSE DEF. CHRIS JERICHO: After the sound of the bell, Jericho extended his hand out to Ambrose as a show of respect for his words to Daniel Bryan moments ago. Instead of accepting the hand shake, Ambrose bit Jericho's hand. The two would go on to have a great encounter here, two nights before both compete in huge matches with implications on the main event of SummerSlam. As Jericho looking to lock in the Walls of Jericho, Cody Rhodes made his way down to the ring and onto the apron. Jericho would respond by delivering a Springboard Kick to the 2012 King of the Ring. Ambrose capitalized by hitting Jericho with a German Suplex, following that up with a Knee Trembler to get the victory.
- A mixed reaction emerged from the audience as Ambrose stood to his feet, raising his arms high in victory as he grabs the momentum heading into the World Heavyweight Championship bout on Sunday. Cody Rhodes made his way back up the entrance ramp, holding his jaw with a grin on his face as he knew he successfully screwed Jericho out of the victory.
- Backstage, Matt Striker was shown standing by with the WWE Tag Team Champions, Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty. Striker asked the two for their thoughts on their Street Fight against Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara this Sunday. "First, we both would like to congratulate Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee on their marriage. Second, there's nothing to worry about for Sunday," said DiBiase. "Mysterio and Sin Cara have no advantage over us. We're bigger, stronger, better, and whether the WWE Universe wants to believe it or not, faster. The only difference between this Sunday to our previous encounters is that this time, we're going to end their careers. But before then, we heard that they're taking a page out of our book and are competing in a Street Fight next. So, me and McGillicutty see fit to go out there and observe our competition." DiBiase and McGillicutty left the interview set as Mysterio and Sin Cara compete in a Tag Team Street Fight, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, a video package recapping this past week's edition of NXT was shown, focusing on the critically acclaimed match between John Cena and Kassius Ohno. A special interview with Ohno from after the show was shown, in which he said that he's not finished just yet with Cena. "Tonight was just the beginning. Soon, Cena will feel the wrath of the KO Elbow."
- STREET FIGHT - REY MYSTERIO AND SIN CARA DEF. PRIMO AND EPICO: A very good Street Fight here between two of the WWE's more energetic and fast-paced teams. As they said they would, WWE Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty watched from the stage, preparing for their title defense in two nights at No Way Out. With Primo perched up on the top turnbuckle, Sin Cara delivered an Enziguri to him. Mysterio followed that up with a Hurricarana through a table, covering him to pick up the victory.
- The crowd popped for No. 1 contenders as they celebrated their victory. Slightly banged up, but ultimately ready for the true challenge on Sunday. They stared down the champions, setting the stage for No Way Out.
- Backstage, AJ Lee was shown in the Diva's locker room with her wedding dress on when Kaitlyn walked in. The two stared at each other for a bit, their friendship at a cross roads. Kaitlyn told AJ that she understands how happy she is right now, but she has to listen to her. "Daniel Bryan doesn't love you. All he cares about is becoming the World Heavyweight Champion, which you would be able to do for him. I mean, seriously. You're getting married inside of a Steel Cage. Not because Daniel doesn't want anyone to get in, but because he doesn't want you to get out." said Kaitlyn. "Maybe Daniel was right. Maybe you're just jealous. Or maybe, you're upset. You're upset because you always felt that you were the more beautiful out of the two us, and yet, here I am about to marry my soul mate." Kaitlyn told AJ that she needs to snap out of whatever trance Bryan has put her into. "AJ, as your friend, I'm telling you. Daniel is going to hurt you." AJ simply turned around, ignoring Kaitlyn. "Maybe Dean Ambrose was right. Maybe you're just crazy," said Kaitlyn before leaving as AJ could be seen fuming.
- Cutting to another camera, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton was shown making his way down to the ring. He battles Tensai, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for next Monday's edition of RAW. With the landscape of the WWE's flagship show changed entirely with one injury, who will step up and become the new WWE Champion at No Way Out? The Miz, Zack Ryder, or CM Punk? Monday Night RAW, live this Monday on USA.
- WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RANDY ORTON DEF. TENSAI: A great bout set up by Daniel Bryan to close out the first hour here on SmackDown. Bryan's intentions to weaken Orton heading into No Way Out failed after Tensai missed a Corner Splash, walking into a huge RKO from the Viper to give him the win.
- The audience erupted as Orton stood to his feet, being handed back his World Heavyweight Championship. As the Viper celebrated his victory, he looked up at the Steel Cage structure, aware that he will step inside of it to defend his title in two nights at No Way Out.
- Backstage, Daniel Bryan was shown watching a TV monitor as he shouted "No! No! No!" He then turn to his side to an even bigger surprise. "No! What are you doing here?!?" he yelled as the Rated R Superstar, Edge appeared. He reminded Bryan that he invited the entire world to his wedding, and that's what he is here for. "But, I also came to give you a bit of advice. Weddings here in the WWE don't always turn out like you envision it, and I don't think anybody knows that more than me," said Edge. "Well tonight is the rare case, then. Because me and AJ will be married inside of a Steel Cage," said Bryan. Edge told him that while he may think that the Cage is a good idea, it's probably just asking for more trouble. "No one can get in, and no one can get out. Which means if you p*ss off AJ, you're as good as dead." Edge left the room as Bryan shook his head at him, hoping to make Edge realize that he's wrong.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal were shown in the ring already as they prepare to finish off their feud with Ryback and do the impossible - snap his undefeated streak.
- RYBACK DEF. DREW MCINTYRE AND JINDER MAHAL: Definitely the toughest challenge yet for the unbeaten monster. McIntyre and Mahal worked over Ryback for a while, not allowing him much time to himself. The audience's "Feed me more!" chants fueled Ryback as he was able to get back in the contest, taking down both Mahal and McIntyre with a simultaneous Meathook Clothesline. He then planted Mahal with Shell Shocked, doing the same then to McIntyre as he pinned both men to get the win.
- The crowd erupted as Ryback's cold eyes stared into the camera as he stood tall over the fallen bodies of McIntyre and Mahal. "Feed me more!" shouted the monster as the entire WWE Universe joined along in his loudest chant yet. Can anybody stop Ryback?
- A graphic was shown for the wedding between Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee, still to come tonight on SmackDown.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- THE USOS FOUGHT CURT HAWKINS AND TYLER REKS TO A NO CONTEST: In what was a fairly solid tag bout with the little time it lasted, the match was thrown out as Kane made his way down to the ring.
- Kane, who had not been seen in a few weeks, tore through both teams as he planted all four men with emphatic Chokeslams. Kane did his fire taunt as he stood tall over the carnage, letting it be known that the Big Red Monster is back on SmackDown.
- Backstage, Daniel Bryan was shown speaking to several officials, letting them know the procedure for tonight's wedding. "Only open the Cage door at mine or AJ's wishes. Do not, and I repeat, do not open the door for anyone else."
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, Cody Rhodes was shown walking down a flight of stairs when Matt Striker stopped him, asking for his thoughts on his match at No Way Out against Chris Jericho. "There's nothing more to be said. This is a travesty. I earned my World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam by winning the King of the Ring tournament. There's absolutely no reason for me to have to defend it against Chris Jericho. But there's nothing I can do about it. So I guess I'll have to go into New Jersey on Sunday and prove everyone wr-" at that moment, Cody was pushed down the stairs by Chris Jericho. Cody remained on the floor in pain as Jericho stood over him, getting his revenge for earlier in the evening. "See you Sunday," said Y2J before leaving Cody in agonizing pain.
- Cutting back to the arena, Heath Slater was shown in the ring already. He said that the band auditions last week didn't go so well. But it's alright, because next week, he's having private auditions. "Only superstars who I invite will be allowed there. And no cameras are allowed. The WWE Universe will no get a glimpse of my band until we're ready to rock the world, baby! But until then, the One Man Band is issuing an open challenge. So whoever has the guts to step up, get to stepping!"
- BIG SHOW DEF. HEATH SLATER: Slater may have regretted issuing his open challenge as it was accepted by the World's Largest Athlete, the Big Show. The No. 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship was able to make quick work of Slater, knocking out the One Man Band with a Knockout Punch to get the victory.
- Big Show stood to his feet as he raised his fist in the air, standing tall over Heath Slater. Suddenly, Show was attacked from behind by Antonio Cesaro. He delivered multiple kicks and strikes to Show before attempting the Neutralizer. Show prevented Cesaro from even attempting the maneuver by dropping him with an Overhead Slam. When Cesaro turned around, Show swung his fist at him, but the Swiss Sensation was able to dodge it and roll out of the ring. However, he left behind his Intercontinental Championship. Big Show grabbed the title and raised it high in the air, letting Cesaro know that the title will be his come Sunday.
- While on the topic of Sunday, the commentary trio quickly ran down the card for No Way Out. For the United States Championship, Evan Bourne defends against Christian. For the Intercontinental Championship, Antonio Cesaro defends against the Big Show. Beth Phoenix will put her career on the line against Eve's Diva's Championship. The WWE Tag Team Titles will be up for grabs in a Street Fight as Ted DiBiase and McGillicutty defend against Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. John Cena battles Dolph Ziggler. Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho meet for Cody's SummerSlam title opportunity. In a Steel Cage match for the World Heavyweight Championship, Randy Orton defends against Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose. And finally, a new WWE Champion will be crowned as CM Punk, The Miz, and Zack Ryder wage war in a Steel Cage match. No Way Out is live this Sunday from East Rutherford, New Jersey.

- Returning to SmackDown, the ring was shown fully propped and ready for the wedding of Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee. The final decorating piece, the Steel Cage, lowered down to the ground. The theme of Daniel Bryan hit as the groom made his way out to a chorus of boos from the Manchester crowd. He repeatedly shouted "Yes!" as usual while marching down to the ring. AJ Lee was out next to the bride entrance music. Bryan assisted into the ring as the officials locked the Cage door, per request of the couple. The priest began speaking, though the audience continued to boo. When it came time for the two to recite their vows, AJ went first. "I know that nobody believes in us. Everyone assumes that you have some sort of grand scheme to marry me for the purpose of making you World Heavyweight Champion again. And I know that's not true. We're soul mates. We're inseparable. And soon, we'll be married." The crowd booed AJ as Bryan was all smiles, taking his turn now. "Thank you, AJ. And don't listen to these idiots because they're just jealous. Jealous that they will never find their true love. Jealous that you are taken, and jealous that on Sunday, I will once again become the World Heavyweight Champion. Are you all jealous? Yes! Yes! Yes!" shouted Bryan as the audience responded with "No!" "As I was saying, AJ, the World Heavyweight Championship has nothing to do with this wedding. I am marrying you because I love you. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I love you," said Bryan, though the WWE Universe still didn't buy his statement of true love.
- Now, the moment where most weddings go array finally arrived. "If there's anyone who believes that these two should not be joined together in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your piece." Seconds passed without an interruption, leaving Bryan to be relieved. However, as the Priest was about to continue on, the theme of Dean Ambrose hit as he made his way out to ringside. "No! What the hell are you doing!? This is my wedding! No!" shouted Bryan as Ambrose seemed to have been amused by his explosion. Ambrose said that he was going to keep his head out of trouble and lay low until Sunday when he becomes the new World Heavyweight Champion. "Something I do for fun every now and then, no matter how much trouble is causes me, is stealing the WWE production truck. I just casually browse through the security tapes to keep a close eye on whoever I need to. And right now, you're that person, Daniel. And surprisingly, there is a security camera inside Johnny Curtis' van. You know, where you had your bachelor party?" Bryan was clearly nervous at this point, sweating and telling the Priest to just continue on with the ceremony. "Come on now, Daniel. If you're to be married momentarily, there should be nothing for you to hide from your wife, right?" Bryan shouted at Ambrose, saying that he needs to crawl back into his alley and wait until Sunday for some kind of revenge. "No. So I give to you, Daniel, a wedding present." We were then shown video footage of Daniel Bryan in Johnny Curtis' van, casually talking to Curtis. "So, like, you're getting married on Friday. That sounds terrible," said Curtis. Bryan told him that it's not that big of a deal. "You know what the funniest part of this whole thing is, Curtis? The fact that everyone believes I love AJ." For a few seconds, we cut back to the arena as Bryan watched in horror with AJ behind him, confused. "So you don't love AJ?" asked Curtis. "No. I mean, who could love a 95 pound girl who looks like she should be working at Hot Topic? Nobody in their right mind would marry her for love. I'm marrying her for the purpose of becoming World Heavyweight Champion, because I know that she's dumb enough to put herself into harm's way for me. Actually, there is one other reason I'm keeping AJ, if you know what I mean," said Bryan as he and Curtis shared a laugh. The footage faded out as Bryan was shown with his eyes wide open and sweat running down his face. AJ was shown looking down at the mat with a depressed look on her face. "AJ...AJ...th..that's not what it looks like. OK, I can explain...just...just give me a few-" as Bryan stuttered, AJ walked towards the Cage door as she faintly asked for it to be opened. Because it was at her request, the officials opened the door. "No! AJ! NO!" shouted Bryan as AJ stepped out of the cage and left up the entrance ramp with her heart broken.
- Bryan continued to call for AJ, though she had her back turned the entire time and slowly stepped up to the ramp. Bryan was so focused on AJ that he didn't realize something - the door was open. Dean Ambrose jumped into the ring and went after Bryan, hitting him with multiple shots in the corner. Bryan caught him with a thumb to the eye as Ambrose backed away. "You bastard!" shouted Bryan as he delivered a dropkick to the side of Ambrose's face. He struck Ambrose a few times until the theme of Randy Orton hit to a huge ovation. The World Heavyweight Champion ran down to the ring, taking Bryan down with a few clotheslines. As he pounded away on Bryan in a corner, Ambrose jumped onto his back as he tried to choke out the Viper. The three men who meet for the World Heavyweight Championship on Sunday all battled it out inside the Steel Cage as AJ dropped to her knees on the stage. "NO!" she shouted with a high pitched scream while carnage was unfolding in the ring. No Way Out is live this Sunday!

A ice well written thank you at the beginning. I really hope even if you can update you can still help me advance my writing. I really like Teddy allowing the wedding to happen in a steel cage. Orton vs. Tensai wouldn't interest me in real life. Dean Ambrose is pretty darn good in that promo. I would like to see him return to NXT like Cena or Punk. Jericho and Ambrose could have a gem if not interrupted. I hope you'll revisit this match again. I really like this feud as it makes the tag team picture unique just not fond Of the stipulation. Street fights.. Street fights everywhere. Please have Kaitlyn marry Miz or someone just please. That's why Orton vs Tensai doesn't interest me. Tensai vs turn buckle happens a lot. I just want to see this wedding to go perfect as it is not expected. I'm feeling the 3MB is going to happen. Kane is back and he is a monster. I would like Kane vs Tensai please. Is this how your giving Cody his mustache? Every time you injury someone they grow facial hair. Is tonight open fight night?Please have Cesaro kick his ass. So far so good. Pretty solid go-home show which did its job hyping the pay-per-view. Nice touch with the wedding, there's been plenty of wedding episodes of wrestling shows, but never in a cage so that's something new! Of course we knew something would happen at the last second and you didn't disappoint. Don't know where you're going with AJ now, though. You've got a pretty good pay-per-view set up, can't way to see it unfold.
And BTW, congradulations on winning Diary of the Year!

I definitely loved Smackdown and I for one cannot wait until your No Way Out PPV, because of the matches you have on hand but also I am going to make my predictions as to the matches in question for No Way Out

TWT 6/16 - WWE signs independent star, NXT iPPV, Major creative changes
- News broke yesterday via Twitter that WWE has officially signed independent wrestling star Adam Cole. Cole received a tryout match around WrestleMania time, which was said to have gone very well. Well enough for him to receive a contract, it seems. Cole will be finishing up the rest of his booking dates before heading down to WWE's developmental program, NXT. It is being reported that WWE has also been in talks with Sami Callihan and Mike Bennett, who both recently had tryout matches as well.
- In a WWE.com exclusive video, NXT General Manager Ricardo Rodriguez announced that for the first time ever, NXT will be presenting the WWE's first ever internet-exclusive pay per view on Wednesday, July 11th. That day's edition of NXT on ION Television will serve as a pre-show for the event, which will still be held at Full Sail University. WWE and NXT officials are hoping for a good turnout for the show as there are currently plans to hold more iPPVs for the developmental brand in the future. Ricardo also announced that NXT Champion Damien Sandow will have his first title defense on the iPPV, with his opponent being revealed next week on NXT.
- With Wade Barrett's sudden injury that forced him to relinquish the WWE Championship, the creative team have been scrambling to finalize the new booking plans heading into No Way Out tomorrow night. From what we understand, Barrett's injury only majorly affected the plans from No Way Out to TLC in July, with his role at SummerSlam being easily adjustable. This may also hint that Barrett was scheduled to drop the WWE Championship soon anyways. Whether the title change was scheduled to come tomorrow night against Zack Ryder is unknown. |

I really enjoy the presentation that you have with the layout. Everything flows and it makes it easier to read instead of a wall of text, bravo. The final SmackDown before No Way Out was a solid way to build toward the pay-per-view, along with the wedding being a nice touch. Very creative idea with the NXT iPPV, too!
Congrats on the award, you really deserve it.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 11th June 2012...Johnny Curtis with a win against Justin Gabriel is good, as is Ted Dibiase defeating Kofi Kingston. A little skeptical on why Kofi lost to Dibiase, but Dibiase needs all of the momentum he can get with Michael McGillicutty going into No Way Out on Sunday. A decent edition of Superstars on this side of the roster. Alright, I love that you had Wade Barrett get injured - it proves that you seem to like challenges, especially when the WWE Champion is injured shortly before a pay-per-view. Good reasoning from Barrett, but further disruption with Ric Flair should lead to a singles match shortly, I'm thinking SummerSlam maybe? Unless Barrett can't get back for August. Hopefully he sticks around for promos and angles. Barrett's attitude towards Brad Maddox also added to his character; he believes he is the best and deserves the best. What happens with the title will be the focus throughout the show, nice. Strange to see John Cena get the win against Jack Swagger in the opening contest, I don't like how Jack Swagger's been used since being teamed under the management of All World Promotions, and AW. Dolph Ziggler taking Cena down was a nice touch, although I still think Cena's winning on Sunday. David Otunga and R-Truth continue their quest with Dr Shelby to fix Truth's brain. I want to know when this will end though, it's been running for a while now; plus this tiny promo sounded a little unnatural to me. Yes! No three-hour RAWs announced for RAW 1000 next month, the right move made. Hmm, another promo after one match? I'm not a great fan of that, would have placed it closer to the second hour of the program personally. Christian and Evan Bourne furthering their feud was good, although it relied too much on what CM Punk or Edge said, I thought. It should be strictly between those two guys. Up next, nice segment with Ric Flair and Brad Maddox with inclusion from Evan Bourne. Flair putting Evan in his place was great, it shows Bourne as an obnoxious ingrate; the right gimmick for him me thinks. I think Santino Marella should have had some talk time before Bray Wyatt interrupted, to see who was crazier. Everyone's getting mic time tonight. Wyatt beating Marella was expected, I like the phrase "Bray Baptism". Lots of promos tonight, not too fond of that, especially with Flair getting a second promo. It was expected though, and properly set up the new main event for No Way Out, a triple threat Steel-Cage match for the vacant WWE Championship sounds sweet, and I think CM Punk will pick up the victory. It *could* propel Zack Ryder to the next level, but I'm not taking chances. I'd like to see him have a false defining moment, much like Santino Marella at Elimination Chamber in reality. I'm just not sure about two triple threat Steel-Cage bouts set for No Way Out though, but there's no other way around it. That is a big hype vehicle setup for the main event six-man tag team match, and I'm willing to bet that it will end the show with a big-ass brawl. I hope Miz and Punk being joined by Ryder in the cage doesn't get in the way of Punk and Miz resuming their feud, hopefully past Sunday. Punk's yet to have a long-running singles rivalry other than his recurring one with John Cena, and I think by stretching Punk vs Miz out to maybe SummerSlam would give both men a BIG boost of momentum and credibility. Beth Phoenix beating Maxine was fine, I like the running theme with this feud, one Diva wins a match, and her WWE Divas Championship match opponent for Sunday comes out for a promo. Unfortunately for Beth, I see Eve getting the win at the pay-per-view. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan's encounter was great, very nice. Kofi facing Johnny Curtis on the YouTube Pre-Show sounds cool, I see Kofi getting the win and gaining back some momentum. Brodus Clay beating Hunico, whatever. Wow, Bray Wyatt's back! I could see Bray bringing back the old beast in Brodus with this Cult Wyatt idea. I think the faction name could be better, though. Maybe "The Church of Bray Wyatt"? John Cena getting attacked again by Dolph Ziggler; I think Cena now HAS to win on Sunday. And finally, a solid six-man tag team match with an aftermath brawl occurring. The steel cage descending was a symbolic addition, very nice way to close this episode of RAW before No Way Out. A decent show, you've managed to transition to the new WWE Championship main event very well. Maybe a little too promo heavy, though.
WWE NXT: Wednesday 13th June 2012...Kassius Ohno and Ricardo Rodriguez opening the show was nice, yet very basic. Ohno against John Cena tonight is huge, I think Ohno is still the bigger star than NXT Champion Damien Sandow as of now. Hoping something about that changes, it just doesn't seem right honestly. Not when the NXT Championship is so young. Decent win for Alex Riley against Corey Graves, an Elimination Chase match? I could dig that, I like that you're sticking to the rare title defenses of Sandow's title especially. Paige defeating Summer Rae was nice, didn't expect to see Tamina here though. I do like it though, Tamina deserves more recognition. Another promo for Seth Rollins and Damien Sandow isn't bad, and I do expect to see Rollins win the Elimination Chase if he were to be entered into it. I'd like to see a long build for Rollins winning the NXT Championship though, maybe he could chase the belt for months, even if it meant him being sidelined from the hunt to enter mini-feuds from other stars getting in his way of the gold. And lastly, a great main event with John Cena beating Kassius Ohno as expected to promote No Way Out this Sunday. I do think that Ohno looked stronger than he should have though, kicking out of an Attitude Adjustment. He's looking a little too invincible right now. Overall, not too bad of a show, I just think you should focus more on Sandow than Ohno right now; Ohno's looking bigger and more deserving of the NXT Championship than Sandow, and that isn't a great thing.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 15th June 2012...It's great that I got name-dropped for the continuation of this classic. Congrats on the Sims Board Awards win, and hopefully you can stick this through to the end of 2013, I'd like to see it. You've managed to keep the diary fresh for nine months so far, something that's quite difficult to accomplish without dropping yourself in a rabbit-hole booking wise. Maxine beating Kaitlyn was fine, as was Darren Young getting a win against Derrick Bateman. I could dig a Prime Time Players vs Santino Marella and Bateman feud if given more exposure on television. It could bring Young and Titus O'Neill up a notch on the roster. Great promo to start the show with Daniel Bryan setting up the night of SmackDown, and his wedding. Maybe more television time for Bryan than necessary, though. A wedding inside of a steel cage could make the generic "wedding crashing" promo difficult to do, so I'm interested in how you manage it. It defines AJ's character especially, too. She's crazy, and the cage is symbolic for Sunday where Bryan hopes to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship. Nice. Randy Orton facing Tensai is cool, but what power does Bryan have here? Dean Ambrose interrupting was great, and a nice verbal exchange between the two. Ambrose facing Chris Jericho in the opening contest of SmackDown? I was thinking this would have been better as an establishing feud for Ambrose, as opposed to being spent up on free-television. Hopefully they meet in a rivalry situation in the near future. I could see Ambrose having some disliking to Y2J's persona. The clean win was iffy to me though, if you ever want to go that route. Ambrose getting a lot of mixed reactions on a taped show, huh. Good talk time for Michael McGillicutty and Ted Dibiase on Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio. I think the WWE Tag Team Championship exchange will be inevitable on Sunday though. Good preview for Mysterio and Cara against Primo and Epico in an unorthodox Street Fight, I'd have maybe placed this in the first-hour main event spot purely for the Street Fight stipulation, though. AJ Lee's segment with Kaitlyn set up for the wedding angle better. Increasingly interested in how this segment goes down. Decent opening hour main event win for the World Heavyweight Champion, but the clean victory really hurt Tensai prior to Tensai's match with Sheamus at No Way Out. Tensai needs to win on Sunday if he wants to keep any momentum, honestly. The lack of Sheamus made for weird booking, too. Nonetheless, it made Orton looks competent prior to the World Heavyweight Championship Steel-Cage match on Sunday. Wow, Edge is here? I wonder if he's here because Bryan name-dropped him and Lita earlier on. Some advice for Bryan is great, and I love that you're playing this whole angle on the running gag with weddings in wrestling; that nothing ever ends well. Ryback beating Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal was fine, not a lot to add. The Usos & Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks having a match on SmackDown? Hope!? Of course not, here comes Kane. Shame, a bit weird that he debuted just prior to a pay-per-view though; I'd have saved it for No Way Out, or even RAW or SmackDown next week honestly. Because everybody will forget that Kane returned tonight after No Way Out. Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes' scuffle was cool, the push down the stairs was a little dangerous though - what if Y2J injured Cody? Could set up a nice SummerSlam 1993-reminiscent angle for the pay-per-view. Heath Slater reminding us about his Band Auditions is good, I wondered if you had forgotten. Big Show then annihilating Heath Slater was cool, a progression for Show's feud with Antonio Cesaro. I see Cesaro retaining the WWE Intercontinental Championship without a doubt. I wish I had more of a reason to care about this interesting feud scenario, but there's so much crammed into No Way Out, it's hard to care. Maybe cram a little less into each pay-per-view, there are so many awesome feuds and ideas going into pay-per-views, but it's going to be a pain in the ass in retrospect. Like I've said before (and you're probably bored of hearing me whine about it), pace it out and don't rush! Good wedding, until Dean Ambrose appeared. He seems to be turning face with every appearance tonight. Hahaha, Johnny Curtis' bachelor pad, hilarious. I love the concept of Bryan using AJ Lee for fame. It should develop her character a hell of a lot for sure. I'd have liked AJ to slam the cage door in Bryan's face as he chased her out of the ring, but Ambrose facing off with Bryan was just as good - a rivalry between these two lasting several months would be awesome to see. Orton's being left out, so it was obvious he was going to get involved as well. Overall, a very good edition of SmackDown with lots of build going into No Way Out on Sunday. Strange that there was no sign whatsoever of Sheamus, though.

Following the signature WWE intro, a video package was shown that focused on the Steel Cage structure. We were then shown clips from this past Friday, where Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee were to be married on SmackDown. Things went array when Dean Ambrose showed up with a piece of footage that changed that complexion of AJ and Bryan's relationship. AJ left the Steel Cage, leaving the door open and allowing Ambrose to jump inside and attack Bryan. World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton would get involved as all three men battled it out inside the Cage, a preview for tonight as they will do the same, but for the World Heavyweight Championship. That clip faded out as the sound of ambulance sirens could be heard. We then heard the audio of Michael Cole announcing to the world that Wade Barrett suffered a severe elbow injury, one that would require him to relinquish the WWE Championship. RAW General Manager Ric Flair was left with a vacant championship in his hands, but tonight, the vacancy will be filled. Zack Ryder, The Miz, and CM Punk all compete inside of the Steel Cage for the richest prize in the industry - the WWE Championship.
After the voice over and graphic for the event, pyro shot from the stage as "Unbroken" by Black Veil Brides blasted throughout the arena. Cameras scanned the red-hot audience here in East Rutherford, New Jersey as the commentary trio of Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Booker T welcomed everyone to No Way Out! The Steel Cage structure was shown hanging high above the ring as tonight, two championships will be decided in its confines. Randy Orton will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose. And after the events from Friday, will AJ Lee play a role in all of this Plus, the vacant WWE Championship will be decided as Zack Ryder, The Miz, and CM Punk all do battle. All of that and more tonight at No Way Out!
Singles Match
John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler
| The theme of John Cena hit as he made his way out to a mixed reaction. Cena observed the audience before looking directly at the camera, saying "Time to show up the Show Off." Ziggler was out next as Mr. Money In The Bank received a rather warm reception. The bell sounded as the "Let's go Ziggler!" chants were clearly audible. Cena brushed off the audience's responses as he and Ziggler locked up to begin the match. Cena was able to get Ziggler in a headlock, taking down the Show Off. Ziggler managed to escape the hold with a kip-up. He strutted in the ring for a bit, slicking his hair back and taking his eye off of Cena. When Dolph turned around, Cena took him down with a dropkick. Cena got the cover, but Ziggler was able to kick out in time. Ziggler rolled out of the ring, giving himself some time to regroup as the official kept Cena away from going to the outside as well. Ziggler slid back into the ring, missing a clothesline to Cena. Cena hit him with a few hard jabs, backing him into a corner. Cena stepped onto the second rope, continuing to pound away on the head of Ziggler. Cena then, uncharacteristically, performed a Monkey Flip that turned Ziggler inside out. Cena got the cover, but Dolph was once again able to kick out. Cena picked up Dolph and sat him on the top turnbuckle. Cena was attempting a superplex, but Ziggler retaliated with body shots and was able to prevent. He pushed Cena off, giving himself some time to set something up. When Cena turned around, Ziggler leaped off of the turnbuckle and hit a Blockbuster. The Show Off was able to get a two count of the maneuver. Ziggler stomped away on Cena for a bit in anger before hitting multiple Elbow Drops, capping off the series with one big one. Ziggler went for a cover, but Cena managed to get his shoulder up. Ziggler went to the top turnbuckle this time, coming off with an Elbow Drop. Cena was able to move out of harms' way as Dolph crashed onto the canvas. He got to his feet immediately, but was taken down by Cena with a Running Shoulder Block. Cena hit a few more before hitting Dolph with a Spinning Suplex Slam. Cena raised his hand in the air as the mixed reaction emerged once again from the New Jersey audience. "You can't see me!" said Cena as he ran the ropes, successfully hitting the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Ziggler stirred to his feet as Cena hoisted him up for the Attitude Adjustment. With a rake to the eyes, Ziggler was able to escape. He locked Cena in a Sleeper Hold, Cena fading away. He was able to power out of it and get to his feet, dropping back and crushing Ziggler. Cena grabbed Dolph's leg and pulled him towards the center of the ring, looking for the STF. Ziggler was able to kick Cena away as he rebounded off of the ropes. Ziggler then caught Cena right in the jaw with a Super Kick, only getting a two count to his dismay. Ziggler stalked Cena as he stirred to his feet, looking for the Zig Zag. Dolph attempted it, but Cena was able to hold onto him, preventing the drop. Ziggler released himself off of Cena's back, charging towards him and finding himself once again in position for the Attitude Adjustment. Ziggler held onto the ropes as Cena tried to pull him away. He was able to do so, but Ziggler countered it into a DDT. As Cena was getting to his feet, Ziggler went for the Fameasser, but Cena was able to counter it into a Powerbomb. He kept a hold on Ziggler's legs and pulled him to the center of the ring, locking in the STF. Ziggler cried out for help as he tried crawling towards the ropes. Somehow, someway, Ziggler managed to secure a grip on the bottom rope. Cena was forced to release the hold as Ziggler went out onto the ring apron. Cena tried to pull him back into the ring, but Ziggler caught him with a thumb to the eye. Cena backed away as Ziggler positioned himself on the top rope. Cena was able to prevent whatever Dolph had in mind by hitting him with a few shots. Cena stepped onto the second rope as Ziggler fought back with shots of his own to his head. Ziggler was looking for a DDT from the top rope, but Cena was able to prevent. He then caught Dolph in position for the Attitude Adjustment, hitting it from the top rope! A portion of the audience erupted, while the other responded with boos as Cena stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory after a hard fought battle. Several replays from the match were shown as the commentators put over the effort on Dolph Ziggler's part. But tonight, Cena stands tall over the Show Off at No Way Out.
Backstage, we were taken to the office of RAW General Manager Ric Flair, where the vacant WWE Championship was shown sealed in a glass case. Flair and Maddox looked at the championship as the Nature Boy told his assistant that history will be made tonight. "Ryder, Miz, and Punk. I've spoken to all three of them today. They're ready to go out there and become the WWE Champion. But only one will. And Brad, me and you are going to be out there with this title. And whoever wins, we're going to present them with the gold," said Flair. "Yes, sir," responded Maddox.
United States Championship
Evan Bourne (c) vs. Christian
| Prior to the match, footage from this past Monday was shown, where Christian finally snapped as he had heard enough from Evan Bourne. Captain Charisma received a full fledged face response from the New Jersey audience. He wasted no time when Bourne stepped into the ring, taking the United States Champion down as the bell sounded. Christian pounded away on Bourne as the former Prince of People Power squirmed away into a corner, the official restraining Christian. Bourne took Christian down and delivered a few shots of his own, but Captain Charisma rolled him off of him. Christian clotheslined Bourne over the top rope, sending him to the outside as he patiently waited in the ring. As Bourne stirred to his feet, Christian springboarded out of the corner and crashed onto the United States Champion. He rolled Bourne back into the ring, covering him to get a two count. Christian picked Bourne up and tossed him into a corner, hitting the defending champion with several knife edge chops. He whipped Bourne into the opposite corner, charging towards him. Christian successfully hit a corner splash onto Bourne, dropping him onto the canvas. Christian ascended up to the top rope, coming down with a Frog Splash. However, Bourne managed to get his knees up in time, Christian crashing onto them. Captain Charisma held his ribs in pain as Bourne rolled him up with his feet on the rope. The official, however, caught Bourne and stopped the count. As Bourne and the referee argued, Christian rolled him up with his feet on the ropes this time. Again, the official noticed and stopped Christian's count. Instead of arguing, Captain Charisma seemed willing to comply with the referee. Similar to their encounter at the King of the Ring edition of RAW, both men were looking for any methods of victory. Christian locked Bourne's arms in position for the Killswitch, attempting to turn around. Bourne was able to fight out of it and planted Christian with a Backstage. Much to his dismay, Bourne only managed to garner a two count during the pin attempt. Bourne began driving his knee into the shoulder Christian, looking to eliminate both the Killswitch and the Spear from his arsenal. Bourne wrapped Christian's arm around the top rope as he repeatedly struck him in the shoulder with his elbow. Christian held his shoulder in pain and Bourne delivered a Corner Dropkick. With Christian laying on the mat, Bourne went up to the top rope. He was looking to come down with a Foot Stomp, but Christian moved out of the way. Christian charged towards him with a Spear, but Bourne got his knee up in time as it collided with Christian's head. He covered Christian, but still failed to get the three count. Bourne backed into a corner, stalking Christian as he stood on his knees. Bourne attempted to hit the Shining Wizard, but Christian countered it and hit a Spear! However, he used the already damaged shoulder, causing him to squirm around the canvas in pain. It took him some time, but he was soon able to get the cover. Bourne was able to kick out just in the nick of time. Christian, disappointed with himself for taking too long, picked Bourne up to his feet. The United States Champion fought back, hitting a few elbows before attempting an Uppercut. Christian dodged the Uppercut by grabbing Bourne's arm, locking him in position for the Killswitch. As Christian turned it around, he released Bourne due to the pain in his damaged shoulder. Bourne capitalized by rolling Christian up with a handful of tights, unbeknownst to the official. Bourne quickly evaded the ring, grabbing his United States Championship as he raised it high in the air. He took a microphone before sliding back into the ring, standing over the fallen Christian. "We're not even......I win!" said Bourne as he celebrated with his title. "I win!" he repeatedly shouted as he headed up the entrance ramp, Christian looking on in anger.
[/li][li] Backstage, Daniel Bryan was shown in his locker room, repeatedly shaking his head as he shouted "No!" when SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long walked in. "Can you keep it down? I can hear you all the way from here." Bryan told Teddy that he needs to conduct a search of the entire arena. "I need you and security to make sure that AJ isn't here. And if she is, throw her out!" demanded Bryan. Teddy said that he can't do that. "AJ is a member of my roster. I haven't seen her yet, but if she's here, then she has every right to be. I'm not going to put myself through any trouble because of a mistake that you made, Daniel," said Teddy. No.....no....no, Teddy! No! No! No! No!" Bryan continuously shouted the phrase as Teddy quietly left the room. 
Street Fight for the WWE Tag Team Championships
Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty (c) vs. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara
| As the defending champions were making their entrance, Mysterio and Cara delivered simultaneous Suicide Dives onto them. The bell sounded as Cara worked over McGillicutty for a bit while Mysterio stepped up onto the ring apron. He went for a kick to DiBiase's face, but one half of the champions caught his foot and pulled him front-first onto the apron. Cara jumped onto DiBiase's back, attempting to choke him out. DiBiase responded by backing Cara into the steel ring post. McGillicutty picked up Mysterio and rammed him into the ring apron before tossing him into the ring. He covered Rey, but only garnered a two count. On the outside, DiBiase tossed Sin Cara into the barricade, taking him out of the equation momentarily. He and McGillicutty worked over Mysterio in the ring before DiBiase pulled out a kendo stick from underneath the ring. McGillicutty pulled Rey's arms over the top turnbuckle, trapping him and leaving his back exposed. DiBiase struck Rey several times in the back with the kendo stick, the red marks very visible on him. Sin Cara made the save with a kendo stick of his own, striking DiBiase several times. McGillicutty tried to take the advantage again, but Cara struck him on the top of his head with the kendo stick. Sin Cara covered McGillicutty, but DiBiase broke it up. He picked Cara up, who fought back with strikes and forearms. He ran the ropes, but DiBiase was able to catch him and toss him with an Overhead Slam. He assisted McGillicutty to his feet, though they were both instantly taken down with a Springboard Crossbody from Mysterio. He went to the outside, looking underneath the ring and taking out a trash can. Rey placed it between two turnbuckles in a corner as McGillicutty stirred to his feet. When Mysterio turned around, McGillicutty charged towards him, but he dodged out of harm's way as he crashed head first into the trash can. Mysterio rolled McGillicutty up, but DiBiase prevented the victory. He worked over Mysterio as McGillicutty headed to the outside. As he was exiting the ring, Sin Cara struck him in the side with a steel chair. Cara hit McGillicutty a few times in the back with the chair before looking under the ring, pulling out a table. He slid it into the ring, hopping up onto the ring. DiBiase charged towards him, kneeing him in the gut as he crashed out onto the floor. DiBiase picked up the chair and struck Mysterio once in the back with it. Mysterio withered around in pain as his back has been the target of the Tag Team Champions' attacks throughout the entire match. DiBiase then set up the chair, planting Rey onto it with a Sidewalk Slam. He got the cover, but Sin Cara broke it up with a Springboard Leg Drop. He began setting up the table, but was interrupted by McGillicutty and another shot from a kendo stick. With Cara down, DiBiase and McGillicutty took Mysterio to the outside. DiBiase grabbed a TV a monitor, striking Rey in the skull with it as McGillicutty held him up. The two then took apart the announce table before picking Rey back up. DiBiase and McGillicutty then both lifted Mysterio up, driving him through the announce table! Rey laid motionless on top of the shattered table remains as the champions headed back into the ring. Sin Cara went after them, but he just couldn't overcome the numbers advantage. With the table set up in a corner, DiBiase and McGillicutty rammed Sin Cara head first into it. DiBiase and McGillicutty were handed back their WWE Tag Team Championships as they raised them high in the air, finally putting away Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio, this being their final shot. As the champions made their way up the ramp, a much more serious situation was developing as Mysterio had not made a single move since being put through the announce table. Sin Cara checked on his fallen partner as the medical staff tended to him. The replay of Mysterio being driven through the table was shown, which was only one of the many times throughout the bout that his back was the target of punishment for the champions. Mysterio was placed on a stretcher as he was carried up the entrance ramp, the audience applauding him. For weeks, DiBiase and McGillicutty stated that they weren't just looking to retain their championships tonight. They were also looking to end the careers of Mysterio and Cara, and they may have lived up to at least half of their promise. A promo was shown for TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, live Sunday July 15th, only on pay per view. Returning to No Way Out, Jack Swagger was shown in his locker room with his agent, AW. Swagger was seen arguing with AW, saying that he thought signing with his agency would help his career. "You got me a spot in the King of the Ring, but I lost in the first round! And I lost to John Cena on RAW! With you at my side, I shouldn't still be losing. As a matter of fact, I should be out there tonight challenging for the WWE Championship." AW told Swagger that he just needs to chill out and trust him. "I was hoping this wouldn't turn out like this, Swaggie. But I was prepared for the worst. So I think it's time to make another few additions to All World Promotions. The contracts have been signed, and you'll meet your new stable mates tomorrow night on RAW." 
Intercontinental Championship
Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. Big Show
| The bell sounded as Cesaro tried to keep his distance from the Big Show, strategically planning his first move. Cesaro went for Show's legs, trying to take down the World's Largest Athlete right from the get go.He was unable to, though Cesaro would not give up as he rammed his head into Show's mid section several times. Cesaro ran the ropes, but was taken down with a Big Boot. Show got the cover, but Cesaro managed to kick out. Show picked up the Intercontinental Champion, placing him in a corner. Show told the audience to keep quiet as he delivered a monstrous chop to Cesaro. He delivered one more before Cesaro was able to dodge the final one. Cesaro then delivered a few chops of his own. Not as loud, but just as effective were his. Show groggily stepped into the center of the ring as Cesaro ascended up to the top rope. He came off with a Flying Shoulder Tackle, covering Show to garner a two count. Cesaro stomped away on Show for a bit before locking him in a Headlock. Cesaro had the hold in tightly as Show looked to be fading away. The energy from the WWE Universe was enough for Show to get back in the the game, slowly getting to his feet as he tried to pry Cesaro's hands off of him. The Intercontinental Champion retaliated by biting the fingers of the Big Show, releasing whatever grip Show had on him. Cesaro's Headlock was able to get Show back onto his knees. With Show nearly down, Cesaro hit him with a few headbutts, followed by a boot to the skull. Cesaro delivered a few Elbow Drops to Show before getting the cover. Still, he couldn't pick up the victory. Cesaro ascended to the top rope, perhaps looking to hit another Shoulder Block. As Cesaro was coming down, Show grabbed him by his throat. He lifted Cesaro up for the Chokeslam, but it was countered into a DDT. Cesaro tried to quickly capitalize, placing Show into position for the Neutralizer. However, Show was able to prevent the attempt as he tossed Cesaro with an Overhead Slam. Show crumbled his hand into a fist, letting out a shout as Cesaro stirred to his feet. Show successfully delivered the Knockout Punch, but Cesaro rolled out of the ring upon impact. Show tried to hurry, tossing Cesaro back into the ring and getting the cover. However, the Intercontinental Champion was able to kick out and live to fight another day. Show then took a chance, climbing up to the top rope. In an uncharacteristic move, Show leaped off of the top rope. However, Cesaro caught him in mid-air with the Swiss Death Uppercut! Cesaro stirred to his feet as he was handed back his Intercontinental Championship, raising it high in the air. Coming into tonight, many people doubted Cesaro's ability to win against the World's Largest Athlete. But once again, Cesaro has proved the non believers wrong as he will be leaving No Way Out tonight, still the Intercontinental Champion. Backstage, Matt Striker was shown standing outside of the trainer's room, where Rey Mysterio was currently undergoing examinations for the injuries he suffered earlier during the Street Fight. There is no word on Mysterio's condition, other than he was looking "not too well." Returning to ringside, the commentary trio quickly discussed the injuries of Rey Mysterio, noting that we may not be done as far as injuries. There may be more shortly because coming up next, the World Heavyweight Championship will be decided inside of a Steel Cage. A video package was shown for the match, taking us back to Over The Limit last month. It was there when Randy Orton defeated Daniel Bryan to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. Five days later, Bryan received his rematch, but it was interrupted by a returning Dean Ambrose. After attacking Orton, Ambrose did the same to Bryan. The next week, it was revealed that all three men would compete inside of a Steel Cage match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Later on, Bryan would make an announcement of his own, that being the engagement of he and AJ Lee. This past Friday, the couple had their wedding inside of the Steel Cage. It was crashed by Dean Ambrose, who showed video footage from inside of Johnny Curtis' van, in which Bryan admitted that he doesn't care for AJ, and is only marrying her for the purpose of once again becoming World Heavyweight Champion. AJ, filled with sorrow and depression, left the Cage, allowing Ambrose to head inside and attack Bryan, Orton soon joining the fray. Cutting back to the arena, the Steel Cage structure was show lowering to the ground as the stage is now set for the World Heavyweight Championship to be decided. 
Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Randy Orton (c) vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose
| As the Cage door was being locked, all three competitors looked back and forth at one another until the bell sounded. Bryan immediately went after Ambrose, the man responsible for his wedding coming to an abrupt end on Friday. As they brawled in a corner, Orton jumped into the mix of things. He pulled Ambrose away, going after Bryan and hitting him with several strikes. Ambrose jumped onto Orton's back as Bryan delivered several strikes to the Viper. Ambrose then tossed Orton into the Cage wall before going back after Bryan. The two traded blows for a bit before Ambrose grabbed Bryan's beard, using it to pull him down to the mat. Ambrose went for a Knee Trembler, but Bryan was able to dodge it. He then launched himself into Ambrose, who backed into the Cage wall. When Bryan turned around, he was taken down with a Scoop Slam from Orton. The World Heavyweight Champion grabbed Ambrose by his head, scraping his face against the Cage. Orton then brought Ambrose closer to the center of the ring, delivering his patented Inverted Backbreaker. The Viper began to coil, preparing to strike Ambrose with the RKO. Suddenly, Daniel Bryan caught Orton by surprise and locked him in the Yes! Lock. Orton held on, but Bryan pulled his head back violently. Before Orton could submit, Ambrose broke up the hold with a Diving Headbutt to Bryan. Ambrose covered Bryan, but he couldn't garner the victory. He then tried getting the win off of Orton, but was met with the same result. Ambrose picked Bryan up to his feet, looking to toss him into the wall. Bryan was able to reverse it as Ambrose went front-first into it. Bryan planted Ambrose with a Bridge Suplex, only getting a two count. As Ambrose got to his knees, Bryan hit him with several kicks to the chest, all while shouting out "Yes!" Ambrose caught his leg on one of the attempts, locking him in the Texas Cloverleaf. Ambrose yelled for Bryan to tap, which it appeared he was on the verge of doing. Suddenly, Orton took Ambrose down with an RKO! All three men were down momentarily as both Orton and Bryan crawled onto Ambrose for the cover. The psychotic superstar managed to kick out in time. Orton and Bryan both got their feet exchanging blows as the audience cheers and boos with every shot. Their brawl was interrupted by Ambrose, who took them down with clotheslines. Ambrose then asked for the door to be opened. Rather than escaping the cage and becoming World Heavyweight Champion, Ambrose yelled at the official to get him a chair from underneath the ring. Ambrose did so before closing the door. Ambrose repeatedly struck both Orton and Bryan in their backs with the chair. He waited for Orton to get to his feet, readying the chair as if it were a baseball bat. Ambrose swung the chair at Orton's head, though the Viper managed to grab it. He took possession of the chair from Ambrose and struck him in the gut with it before tossing it onto the mat. Orton attempted an RKO, but he was struck with a Superkick from Bryan. With Orton stunned, Ambrose took the steel chair and tossed it into Bryan's head. Ambrose put his focus back on Orton, putting him position for something that we hadn't seen yet out of him. Ambrose then planted Orton with a Vertebreaker! Ambrose quickly covered Orton, but Bryan returned the favor by tossing the chair into Ambrose. Bryan then told the official to open the door. As he was doing so, Ambrose got a hold of Bryan and pushed him into the door, causing it to inadvertently hit the official. The only person who could open the door was now out as Ambrose continued to assault Bryan. Ambrose was then hit with a low blow, followed by a Running Forearm. Bryan got the cover on him, but Ambrose kicked out. He then tried to score the victory off of Orton, but he kicked out as well. Bryan began to lose his cool as he shouted at the official in the ring to open the door, but there was nothing he could do as the lock was on the outside. In a display of rage, Bryan delivered a Roundhouse Kick to the official. Bryan then picked up the chair, repeatedly striking Ambrose in the back with it as he shouted "Yes!" with every shot. Bryan covered Ambrose, but there was no official to make the count, which was his own fault. Bryan pulled on his hair and beard violently, slamming his fist on the mat at the fact that he he has almost no method of winning now. He looked up at the cage, realizing he would have to scale it. However, the theme of AJ Lee hit to a massive pop from the audience. AJ was still in her wedding dress as Bryan looked as if he had seen a ghost. She made her way down to ringside, picking up the key to the Steel Cage door and, essentially, Bryan's victory. "AJ....I'm sorry.....please, open the door," said Bryan as he tried to plead with his former fiance. AJ thought about for a bit as he stared at the key in her hand. She then began skipping around the Steel Cage before heading up the entrance ramp, still with the key in her hand. "No! AJ! Get back here! No!" shouted Bryan as AJ has now evaded with the key to the door. At that moment, Bryan was turned around by Orton, who planted him with an RKO onto the chair! Orton slowly stirred to his feet, holding the back of his head as it landed on the chair during the final RKO to Bryan. Another official headed down to the ring with another key to open the door, handing Orton back the World Heavyweight Championship. Ambrose was still down on the mat, having received multiple chair shots to his back. Bryan was out on top of the chair as Orton began to scale the Cage. Once at the top, he raised the World Heavyweight Championship high in the air, the Viper still as the top of SmackDown. Backstage, RAW General Manager Ric Flair was shown rushing out of the arena as Brad Maddox followed him, asking what was going on. "Ric, what's wrong? Where are you going?" asked the Assistant GM. "Not now, Brad! I have to go!" said Flair in a frantic manner. Maddox asked about the WWE Championship match later tonight, but he wasn't given an answer as Flair left the arena as fast as he could. A video package was shown for RAW 1000, live July 23rd on USA. 
Diva's Championship vs. Beth's Career
Eve (c) vs. Beth Phoenix
| Despite following a hellacious Steel Cage match, the New Jersey audience were able to get into this match, a rarity for the Divas. With the possibility of this being Beth Phoenix's final match in the WWE, several "Thank you, Beth" signs were shown in the crowd. The bell sounded as Beth went right after Eve, driving her into a corner. Beth repeatedly drove her shoulder into the mid-section of Eve until the official restrained her. Beth went right back on the attacking, clotheslining Eve over the top rope. On the outside, Eve stirred to her feet as the Glamazon stalked her. When Eve turned around, Beth charged towards her. However, the Diva's Champion managed to move out of harm's way as Beth collided with the steel ring post. Eve stomped on Beth a few times before rolling her back into the ring, covering her to garner a two count. Beth backed into a corner as Eve drove her boot into her clavicle. Eve pulled Beth back into the center of the ring, hitting her with a quick Snapmare Suplex. She got another cover on Beth, who kicked out one again. Eve had Beth in a rest hold, keeping it on as the audience clapped in unison to try and help Beth get back into the fight. She was able to get up to her feet and countered the rest hold into a Sidewalk Slam, planting Eve with it to get a two count. Beth picked Eve up, positioning her on the top turnbuckle. As Beth was climbing up onto the second rope, Eve fought back and prevented her from continuing on with her next planned move. Beth backed away as Eve stepped off of the turnbuckle, waiting for Beth to turn around as she charged towards her. Eve was caught off guard as Beth hit her with a Spear! Beth got the cover, but Eve was able to get her foot on the bottom rope to break up the pinning predicament. Beth couldn't believe what had transpired as she believed she was just mere milliseconds away from becoming the new Diva's Champion. She picked up Eve and brought her to the center of the ring, placing her in position for a Glam Slam. Eve was able to counter it into a roll up, though Beth managed to kick out. As the Glamazon was getting to her feet, Eve delivered a huge kick to her face, following that up with the Heart Breaker. Eve got the cover, but to the surprise of her and the WWE Universe, Beth kicked out. Eve was stunned as she backed away, wondering what it would take to put Beth away. She then picked Eve up, throwing her into a corner. Beth stepped onto the second rope as she pounded away with strikes to Eve, the audience counting along with every hit. Suddenly, Eve was able to slide out of it and pull Beth's leg, causing her to fall and land face-first onto the top turnbuckle. With Beth momentarily stunned, Eve decided to put her away the only other way possible - with her own maneuver. Eve was able to lock Beth's arms and plant her with a Glam Slam of her own. A silence came over the arena as Eve ecstatically stood to her feet, taking the Diva's Championship as she celebrated her victory with it. "Eve is still the Diva's Champion. But the career of Beth Phoenix is over," said Jerry Lawler in a very somber tone. After Eve left to the back, Beth slowly got to her feet with tears in her eyes. The audience gave her a standing ovation and chanted "Thank you, Beth." She observed the crowd before faintly responding with a "thank you" of her own. She slapped the hands of everyone in the front row and said goodbye to everyone at ringside before taking one final bow on the stage. Backstage, Josh Mathews was standing by with Assistant RAW General Manager Brad Maddox, asking him for some sort of clarification on why Ric Flair was in such a hurry to leave the arena. Maddox said that initially, he didn't know. "We were just in his office watching the show when he got a phone call. That's when he left. I followed him and asked him why he was leaving, but I couldn't get an answer. It wasn't until just recently that I got a call from Flair's good friend, Arn Anderson. And he told me that Flair's daughter was in a horrific vehicle accident back in Charlotte. Flair is on his way home to be with her, and will unfortunately not be here for the rest of No Way Out, or RAW tomorrow night. So, Flair has left me to present the winner of tonight's main event with the WWE Championship. And whenever I receive any sort of update on Flair's daughter, I'll let the world know." Mathews thanked Maddox for his time as he left the interview set. 
Cody's SummerSlam Title Shot on the Line
Cody Rhodes vs. Chris Jericho
| During his entrance, Cody Rhodes cut a promo to once again express the unfairness in him having the defend the title shot that he won in the King of the Ring tournament. He should already be set for the main event of SummerSlam, but thanks to Teddy Long, that's not the case. Chris Jericho had heard enough as Y2J made his entrance, his music blaring over every word that Cody had to say. When Jericho stepped into the ring, he delivered a slap across Cody's face before attempting to lock him in the Walls of Jericho. Cody was able to fight out of it, kicking Jericho away as he slid to the outside. Jericho launched himself over the top rope, landing on the 2012 King of the Ring winner. He tossed Cody back into the ring, covering him to garner a two count. Jericho picked Cody up, who retaliated with several body shots. Cody broke free and attempted to his the Disaster Kick, but Jericho dodged it. When Cody turned around, he was met with an Enziguri. Jericho covered him, but still couldn't manage to get the win. Jericho pulled Cody into the center of the ring as he shouted "come on, baby!" to energize the audience. He attempted the Lionsault, but Cody was able to get his knees up in time. Cody planted Jericho with a DDT, only managing to get a two count out of it. Cody picked Jericho up and whipped him into a corner. Jericho was able to stop himself from colliding with the turnbuckle as Cody charged towards him. Jericho jumped into the air with his hands on the ropes, Cody catching his legs and putting him position for the Alabama Slam. Jericho was able to slide out it, rolling Cody into a pinning predicament. He got a two count before turning it into the Walls of Jericho. Cody struggled to reach the ropes, but was soon able to before he could be forced to submit. Jericho wouldn't let the hold go as the official began the five count. Jericho broke it up at four as the referee reminded him of the rules. Cody stirred to his feet as Jericho charged at him, but was sent over his head and onto the ring apron. Cody hit Jericho with a few shots before hitting him with his own patented springboard corner kick. Jericho crashed to the outside as Cody stepped out onto the apron. He leaped off of it, but Jericho caught him in mid air with a dropkick. Cody was rolled back into the ring as Jericho ascended up to the top rope. After the 2012 King of the Ring winner was back on his feet, Jericho came down with a hammer fist to the top of his head. He once again waited for Cody to get back to his feet, looking to strike with a Codebreaker. As Jericho was attempting it, Cody managed to counter it into a Walls of Jericho of his own. Cody was looking to humiliate Jericho and defeat him with his own maneuver, which would make this the second match in a row to end in that fashion. That wasn't meant to be, however, as Jericho was able to reach the ropes. Cody picked Jericho up as Y2J fought back with a few quick elbows. He then attempted to springboard off of the bottom rope and hit another elbow, but Cody was able to catch him and hit Cross Rhodes, finally covering Jericho to get the victory. | Cody Rhodes defeats Chris Jericho |
Cody got to his feet as he raised his arms in victory, smirking while standing tall over Chris Jericho. Not only has Cody won the rubber match between he and Jericho, but he is now officially on his way to SummerSlam in Los Angeles with a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Speaking of SummerSlam, a promo was shown for the event with its theme song playing in the background, "Hit and Run" by Breathe Carolina. Returning to ringside, the commentary trio noted that they can't wait to get to Los Angeles for SummerSlam. And it should also be noted that the winner of this upcoming match may head into the Staples Center as the WWE Champion. A video package was shown that recapped Wade Barrett's promo this past Monday on RAW, in which he relinquished the WWE Championship due to injury. Later on in the night, RAW General Manager Ric Flair announced that at No Way Out, there would be a Triple Threat Steel Cage match to crown a new champion. The man who was originally scheduled to meet Barrett for the title, Zack Ryder, would join the Miz and CM Punk, who were both scheduled to compete in a one on one Steel Cage match. The stakes have been raised with the winner receiving the ultimate prize in sports entertainment. Cutting back to the arena, Assistant General Manager Brad Maddox was shown in the ring with the WWE Championship in his hands as he will present the title to the winner, General Manager Ric Flair absent due to the news of his daughter's accident. The Steel Cage structure then lowered to the ground for the second time tonight, a new WWE Champion about to be named. 
Steel Cage Match for the vacant WWE Championship
CM Punk vs. The Miz vs. Zack Ryder
| The bell sounded as the cage door was locked, Maddox taking a seat at ringside with the championship in his hands. Miz turned to the assistant GM, letting him know that he'll be presenting him with the title following this match. Punk and Ryder both grabbed Miz by the back of his head, tossing him into the cage wall. Punk and Ryder then came face to face, the former WWE Tag Team Champions shaking hands before going at it. Ryder attempted to hip toss Punk, but it was countered into one of Punk's own. The Miz was back on his feet, taking Punk down with a clothesline as he was running the ropes. Miz stomped away on Punk in a corner for a bit before targeting Ryder. Miz delivered several shots to him before Long Island Iced Z blocked on. Ryder struck Miz several times with strikes of his own. One of Ryder's strikes caused Miz to turn around, which was when Punk came flying off of the top turnbuckle with a Clothesline to the both of them. Punk covered Miz, which was broken up by Ryder. He got a few shots in on Punk before running the ropes. Whatever Ryder had planned failed to come to fruition as Punk delivered a spinning kick to his mid section, followed by a Roundhouse Kick. Punk covered Ryder, but Miz prevented him from getting the victory. Miz delivered a few strikes to Punk's back before kicking him in the face. Miz climbed up onto the top rope, but was soon joined by Ryder. He delivered a few body shots to Miz, placing him in position for a Superplex. As Miz was trying to fight out of it, Punk grabbed Ryder's legs and put him in position for a Powerbomb. Miz and Ryder were both taken down with a Tower of Doom, Punk only being momentarily stunned. He covered Miz, but only garnered a two count. He then covered Ryder, but still could not get the victory. Punk was looking to escape through the door, but Miz stopped him and pulled him into the center of the ring. Miz struck Punk once as he turned around into a strike from Ryder. The two of them repeatedly hit Punk as he pinball'd between them. Punk then dodged one of Ryder's shots as he struck the Miz. Miz retaliated as he and Ryder began exchanging blows. During that exchange, Punk began to scale the Cage. Both Miz and Ryder put their differences aside at the moment, climbing up and preventing Punk from escaping. Both men then took Punk down with a double Suplex! All three were out on the mat. They all stirred to their feet at the same, Ryder going for a Rough Ryder onto the Punk. Punk was able to dodge it as Ryder struck Miz with the maneuver. When Ryder turned around, Punk hoisted him up to his shoulders for the GTS. Ryder was able to block it by grabbing Punk's knee, tossing him into the steel wall. Punk backed into a corner as Ryder noticed he was in position for the Broski Boot. He fist pumped with the audience before hitting it, driving Punk's face into the steel. He got the cover on Punk, but Miz intervened. Miz planted Ryder with a DDT, only managing to score a two count off of him. Miz locked Ryder in position for the Skull Crushing Finale, but CM Punk attempted to lift both men up for the GTS. Miz slid off as Punk was able to grab Ryder, hitting him with the maneuver. Miz attempted to plant Punk with the Skull Crushing Finale, but he was rammed back-first into the Cage wall. The back of Punk's head also hit the steel as he was out as well. Ryder was the first to get to his feet, scaling the Cage as he reached the top. Punk began to chase after him, preventing him from climbing over. The two of them sat on top of the structure as they exchanged shots, hoping the other would fall back into the ring. Miz was crawling towards the door as Punk quickly dropped back into the ring to stop him. He delivered several elbows to the clavicle of Miz, stopping him from escaping and getting the victory. When Punk turned around, he was hit with a Missile Dropkick from the top rope by Ryder. He covered Punk, who barely kicked out before the three count. Miz stirred to his feet as Ryder stalked him, getting ready to hit the Rough Ryder. Miz was able to dodge it as Ryder crashed into the steel wall. Miz capitalized as he quickly planted Ryder with the Skull Crushing Finale, but Punk was able to break up the pin attempt. He dragged Miz into the center of the ring, locking him in the Sharpshooter. Miz would not submit, but he did pass out from the pain. Punk released the hold as he slowly began to scale the Cage. Once he reached the top, he looked back down at the ring as he seemed to have gotten an idea. Punk stood up on the stage, pointed up towards the sky, and came down with an Elbow Drop to the Miz! The audience went wild as the replay of Punk leaping off of the Cage was shown several times. All three men were out as the "This is awesome!" chants rang throughout the atmosphere here in the Izod Center. Punk and Ryder were both up to their feet, hitting each other forearms, strikes, and headbutts. Punk ran the ropes, missing the Clothesline that he was looking to strike Ryder with. Ryder then ran the ropes as well, he and Punk taking each other out with Clotheslines. At that moment, Miz regained consciousnesses and began to scale the Cage. As he reached the top, Punk and Ryder began to crawl towards the door as it was now a race to the finish. The official opened the door for Punk and Ryder as both were looking to escape. Suddenly, Brad Maddox stood up from his chair and closed the door on Punk and Ryder! "What the hell just happened?!" shouted Michael Cole on commentary as the entire arena looked on in shock. Both Punk and Ryder were down and out in the ring, and it was all thanks to RAW's assistant General Manager. The Miz then dropped to the floor as the bell sounded. | The Miz is your NEW WWE Champion |
The audience was livid as Maddox quickly grabbed the WWE Championship from ringside, handing it to Miz as he slowly stirred to his feet. Trash began flying onto the both of them as they hurried up the entrance ramp, everyone trying to figure out just what the hell had happened. The replay of Maddox shutting the Steel Cage door into Punk and Ryder was shown before heading back to the live feed. Miz raised the title high in the air on the stage as Maddox raised his arm in victory. Brad Maddox has just screwed CM Punk and Zack Ryder, and the Miz is the new WWE Champion![/font][/center] |
