Pretty good go-home edition of Smackdown. The opening segment with Angle and Bryan was pretty funny with them imitiating each other, but their match at the pay-per-view should be excellent. Good wins for Cesaro and the Royalty to give them momentum going into their title showdowns, but I'm curious about Alberto Del Rio falling out of favor with you; first he loses his Scramble spot to a debuting Damien Sandow and now he loses to Big Show? Curios where you go with him. Good main event with Orton pinning Sandow instead of Rhodes, which I have no problem with; having Orton pin Rhodes would have made it too obvious he was retaining. Overall a solid show and I'm looking forward to seeing Night of Champions.

YouTube Pre-Show Seth Rollins def. Hunico to retain the NXT Championship
∙ Following the signature WWE intro, a video package was shown featuring some of the great champions of the past. Former champions such as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin were highlighted. "To be a champion is to be the greatest" said a voice over as we were taken back to TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs when Dolph Ziggler captured the WWE Championship, and SummerSlam when Cody Rhodes shocked the WWE Universe to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Tonight, however, the reigns of the two young stars are in serious jeopardy. Standing in front of Rhodes are four former champions in their own right. Former WWE Champions Sheamus and the Big Show, former NXT Champion Damien Sandow, and former World Heavyweight and WWE Champion Randy Orton. As for Ziggler, he is set to defend against three former WWE Champions in Wade Barrett, The Miz and CM Punk. But also acting as a barrier is a man who has never before tasted championship gold, the undefeated Ryback. Who will leave tonight with their name cemented in the history books as one thing - champion? ∙
∙ After the introduction graphic, pyro blasted from the stage as Muse's "Panic Station" blared over the PA system. Cameras scanned the red hot audience here in Boston as Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and John "Bradshaw" Layfield welcomed everyone to Night of Champions. On this night, every championship in the WWE will be defended. But none bigger than the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships, which will be up for grabs in Championship Scramble matches. And in these types of bouts, the odds are certainly not in favor of the defending champions. Plus, two special non-title bouts are scheduled as Boston's very own John Cena will go one on one with the newest client of Paul Heyman, Mark Henry. Also, a dream match for many will finally take place as Kurt Angle and Daniel Bryan meet one on one for the very first time. Cole sent things over to Justin Roberts, who announced that the opening contest is for the WWE Tag Team Championships! ∙
WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPSWRESTLING ROYALTY (C) VS. KOFI KINGSTON AND ZACK RYDER
| The bell sounded as Joe Hennig and Zack Ryder started things off. Ryder quickly got a roll up, but Hennig was able to quickly kick out. Ryder took down Hennig with an Arm Drag, keeping a solid armbar on him. Hennig soon fought out of it, elbowing Ryder in the mid-section several times before ramming him into a corner. Hennig made the tag to DiBiase, who was whipped by Hennig into Ryder in the corner. DiBiase went for the cover, but Ryder managed to kick out at two. DiBiase then picked Ryder up to his feet, placing him back into the corner and delivering multiple knife edge chops. After whipping Ryder into the opposite corner, DiBiase charged towards him for another Splash. This time, Ryder was able to move out of harm's way. He made the tag to Kofi, who took DiBiase down with a Springboard Crossbody. Kofi remained in pinning position, nearly getting the victory early on. After taking DiBiase down a few more times with Clotheslines, Kofi whipped him into a corner. After hitting DiBiase with a Monkey Flip, Kofi was fired up as he was looking for the Boom Drop. However, as he was running the ropes, Hennig grabbed him by his hair and pulled him out of the ring. The official forced Hennig back into his corner as DiBiase went after Kofi on the outside. He picked Kofi up to his feet, only to ram his lower back into the barricade. He rolled Kofi back into the ring, covering him for the count of two. DiBiase then pulled Kofi towards the center of the ring, looking to slingshot him into the corner. Kofi acted fast as he laded on the second rope, but was unable to progress any further as DiBiase pulled him by his trunks onto the canvas. He picked Kofi up to his feet, twisting his arm as he made the tag to Hennig. With DiBiase still twisting Kofi's arm, Hennig stepped onto the second rope and dropped an elbow onto it. He kept Kofi in a rest lock for a bit as Ryder began clapping, the Boston audience joining "Long Island Iced Z" in attempting to rally Kofi. He delivered a few elbows to the mid-section of Hennig, nearly freeing himself. Hennig was able to grab Kofi's hair, pulling him back towards him and delivering an Inverted DDT. He got the cover on Kofi, who again managed to kick out. As Hennig was picking Kofi up to his feet, the leader of the "Boom Squad" found a sudden surge of energy as he delivered a very agile Dropkick. Kofi then jumped towards his corner, finally making the hot tag to Ryder. The crowd here in Boston popped for Ryder as he came in on fire, taking Hennig down numerous times. He whipped Hennig into a corner with great force as one half of the defending champions dropped to the canvas. Ryder then charged towards DiBiase, striking him as he fell off of the ring. Ryder fist pumped with the WWE Universe. running towards Hennig and successfully hitting the Broski Boot. Ryder backed away, signalling that it was time for the Rough Ryder. Hennig was able to side step the maneuver, grabbing Ryder and planting him with a Full Nelson Suplex. Hennig then quickly made the tag to DiBiase before charging towards Kofi and knocking him off of the ring. DiBiase hoisted Ryder up to his shoulders as he and Hennig delivered a vicious-looking Suplex/Powerbomb combination. DiBiase hooked the legs of Ryder, finally getting the three count and the victory. | WRESTLING ROYALTY DEFEAT. KOFI KINGSTON AND ZACK RYDER ; STILL WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS |
The Boston audience showed their displeasure for the outcome as they showered Wrestling Royalty with boos. On any other night, DiBiase and Hennig would have been handed back their WWE Tag Team Championships. However, they still do not have possession of the titles as the Prime Time Players stole them last Monday on RAW. The two grabbed microphones instead, making a statement to Darren Young and Titus O'Neil. DiBiase said that once again, he and Hennig have proven that they are the most dominant tag team in WWE history. But thanks to the Prime Time Players, they don't have the gold to prove it. "And we're not going to put up with any more crap from you two. You guys want a shot at the titles? Fine. You got it. But we want back what is rightfully ours. Tomorrow on RAW, we expect the two of you to hand us back the WWE Tag Team Championships. And if you don't we will find you and take them back ourselves," said Hennig before throwing his microphone down to the canvas. Wrestling Royalty made their way up the entrance ramp, title-less, but still the WWE Tag Team Champions here at Night of Champions.
Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes was shown in his locker room staring at his title, knowing that it is in serious jeopardy tonight. Soon, WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler walked into the room. The two young title holders stared at each other for a bit before Ziggler told Rhodes that tonight, it's the two of them against the world. Nobody believes that they're going to leave with their championships intact, but he knows that they can and will. Rhodes said that he isn't at all concerned with what anyone else believes. Nobody thought he would become World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam, but he did. And tonight, the same brainless idiots who doubted him then are doubting him now. He's made a living out of proving people wrong, and that's just what he is going to do tonight in the Championship Scramble match. Ziggler smirked, telling Rhodes that they're in the same boat. The two champions shook hands before parting ways.
UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP CHRISTIAN (C) W/ BRET HART VS. JACK SWAGGER W/ ZEB COLTER | The audience members were thoroughly behind Christian right from the get go, as well as the man standing in his corner due to what took place last Monday on RAW, Bret "The Hitman" Hart. Swagger was able to take Christian down instantly from behind, looking for a submission of sort to the head and neck area. Christian countered it into a pinning predicament, scoring a two count. Swagger tossed Christian over the top rope as he was charging towards him, but the defending United States Champion managed to hang on to the top rope. He blocked a shot from Swagger, grabbing the back of his neck and pulling him down onto the top rope. Swagger's head whip-lashed onto the canvas, buying Christian a bit of time. He slid back into the ring, covering Swagger for a count of two. As Christian was picking Swagger up to his feet, Zeb Colter made his way onto the ring apron to distract the official. Bret Hart intervened on behalf of "Captain Charisma", walking towards Colter as he stepped off of the apron and backed away from him. Swagger delivered a few elbows to the mid section of Christian, planting him with a powerful Sidewalk Slam. He dragged Christian's body into the center of the ring, backing away into a corner. As Swagger was running for the Corner Splash, Christian got his knees up in time. Swagger held his ribs in pain as Christian signaled for the Spear. Unfortunately for him, he ran into a Big Boot from Swagger during the Spear attempt. Swagger lifted Christian up to his feet, placing him in position for the Patriot Powerbomb. Christian managed to slide off of Swagger's shoulders, grabbing his arms and attempting to turn him into position for the Killswitch. Before Christian could engage it, Swagger was able to push him away towards the ropes. Swagger charged toward the United States Champion, delivering a Clothesline that sent the both of them flying over and onto the floor. While both men were down, Colter approached the scene as he was rooting for Swagger to get to his feet. To make sure Colter didn't act any further, Hart walked towards the scene as well, keeping his eye on Colter. Christian and Swagger both got to their feet simultaneously, trading blows back and forth. Swagger got the upper hand by delivering a knee to Christian's gut, taking his head and bouncing it off of the ring apron. Swagger rolled Christian back into the ring, getting the near fall on him. Swagger placed Christian into a corner, whipping him into the opposite one. As Swagger charged towards him, Christian was able to slide his lower body to the outside of the ropes, hitting the "Real American" with his legs. With Swagger stunned momentarily, Christian ascended up to the top turnbuckle. He delivered a Flying Forearm to Swagger, covering him and nearly scoring the victory. Christian backed into a corner, calling once again for the Spear. During the attempt, Swagger dodged it and allowed Christian to nearly collide his shoulder with the steel ring post. The defending United States Champion managed to stop himself from going any further, but Swagger sandwiched him into the corner. He was then looking for another Patriot Powerbomb, but Christian slid out of Swagger's grasp. He was able to grab both of Swagger's arms and successfully hit the Killswitch. Before the official's hand could hit the canvas for the three count, Colter grabbed Swagger's foot and placed it on the bottom rope. Colter got the attention of the official, showing him that Swagger had a rope break. Oblivious to what had actually happened, he informed Christian of Swagger's rope break. "Captain Charisma" immediately realized that Colter had halted his victory, talking a bit of trash to Swagger's manager. Bret Hart decided that he had finally seen enough as he walked towards Colter and struck him! The audience went wild for the "Hitman" as he grabbed Colter's legs, looking to lock him in the Sharpshooter! Hart was able to successfully lock the maneuver in on Colter, but this altercation distracted Christian long enough for him to allow Swagger to get back to his feet. Swagger grabbed Christian and planted him with the Patriot Powerbomb, covering him to gain both the victory and the championship. | JACK SWAGGER DEFEATS. CHRISTIAN ; NEW UNITED STATES CHAMPION |
At the sound of the bell, Bret Hart released the Sharpshooter that he had locked in on Zeb Colter, realizing what had happened. The official handed Jack Swagger the United States Championship as the "Real American" raised the gold high in the air. As Bret rolled into the ring to check on Christian, Swagger assisted Colter to his feet on the outside. The two patriots made their way up the entrance ramp, living up to their word to resurrect the image of America as Swagger is the new United States Champion.

Returning to ringside, the commentary trio were still buzzing over the previous bout as Jack Swagger defeated Christian to become the new United States Champion. They then shifted their focus to what is coming up next. In the eyes of many in the WWE Universe, it is a dream match that is about to become a reality. We were then taken to a video package, showing Kurt Angle's return to the WWE at RAW 1000 in July. One superstar who immediately got in the face of Angle was Daniel Bryan. The two would go on to meet at SummerSlam in a Triple Threat match also involving Dean Ambrose, which Angle ended up coming out on top of. After Bryan failed to qualify for the World Heavyweight Championship Scramble match, he decided that he wouldn't allow Angle to do so. He would then go on to eliminate Angle from a Qualifying Battle Royal, enraging the Olympic Gold Medalist to the point where he tore through other superstars until he was granted a one on one match with Bryan. That match is now set and could very well determine who is truly the "greatest professional wrestler alive today."
SINGLES MATCH KURT ANGLE VS. DANIEL BRYAN | Before the bell sounded, both men stood across from one another as the commentators put over the surreal sight of seeing Kurt Angle and Daniel Bryan preparing to wage war with one another. After the official called for the bell, the Boston audience roared with chants of "Angle!". Bryan responded to the WWE Universe by yelling "No!" repeatedly, a distraction that nearly cost him huge. When Bryan turned around, Angle tripped him and had a grip on his ankle. Fortunately for Bryan, he was able to quickly squirm away and out of the ring. Angle stared at Bryan, smirking with his mouthpiece that read "Greatest" visible. Bryan turned around at ringside and was met by a plethora of fans shouting "Yes!". Bryan shook his head, trying to ignore them. Angle slid to the outside, not wanting to wait anymore to get the math underway. He rolled Bryan into the ring, taking him down with a Clothesline. Angle repeated this a few more times before planting Bryan with two German Suplexes. On the third attempt to complete the sequence, Bryan managed to get a hold of the top rope and hold on for dear life. Angle rolled off of Bryan, charging towards him and being met with an elbow. Bryan ran towards Angle, hitting him with a Flying Forearm. Bryan was now in control, stomping on Angle repeatedly. He sat Angle up, delivering multiple kicks to his upper back area. Angle slowly got to his knees, which turned out to be a mistake as Bryan responded with more kicks to his chest. When going for the final Roundhouse Kick, Bryan missed it as Angle rolled him up. Bryan was able to kick out a millisecond before the count of three. Angle charged towards Bryan, who delivered a kick to the mid-section. Angle dropped to his knees as Bryan was now able to hit the Roundhouse Kick that he had attempted earlier. Bryan covered Angle, but only managed to gain a two count. Bryan grabbed Angle and proceeded to apply a Surfboard submission hold onto him. The pain was clearly agonizing for Angle, and Bryan only extended it as he pulled back his head. Bryan eventually released the hold, satisfied as he watched Angle gasp for air while rolling towards the ring apron. Bryan delivered a Baseball Slide that sent Angle crashing to the floor. Bryan felt as if he were on top of the world as he stood on the ring, taunting the audience as they bombarded him with boos. He attempted to hit a Running Knee off of the ring apron, but Angle caught him and delivered a Belly-to-Belly Suplex onto the floor! The tables were now turned as Bryan was the one in pain now while Angle had control. The Olympic Gold Medalist tossed Bryan into the steel ring post before rolling him back into the ring. Angle stalked Bryan as he stirred to his feet, stomping the mat with both feet in preparation for the Angle Slam. Bryan managed to slide out of Angle's grip, turning him around and planting him with a Northern Lights Suplex. Angle was able to kick out at the count of two. Bryan picked Angle up to his feet, placing him in a corner. Bryan backed away into the opposite corner, flaunting his arms while shouting "No!". He then attempted a Running Dropkick, but Angle was able to move out of harm's way. Angle placed Bryan against the turnbuckles, delivering repeated Uppercuts. With Bryan dazed, Angle placed him on the top turnbuckle before climbing up himself. Angle then hit a Superplex as both men were down momentarily. Angle got to his feet first, hitting Bryan with another Uppercut. Bryan retaliated with an Elbow as the two competitors traded blows. Bryan eventually broke the sequence by spitting in Angle's face, which enraged the Olympic Gold Medalist. Bryan attempted to run away, but Angle caught him and delivered three German Suplexes in succession. He then pulled his straps down as he let out a scream, signaling that it was soon time for the Ankle Lock. He grabbed Bryan's ankle, but was kicked away. With Angle bouncing off of the ropes, Bryan caught him with a huge Roundhouse Kick. He quickly covered Angle, only getting a count of two. Bryan, almost out of ideas for how to close out this bout, decided to take his mocking of Angle a step further. He pretended to pull down straps, letting out a shout of his own. As Bryan was attempting to apply the Ankle Lock, Angle kicked him away. Bryan went for a Clothesline, but Angle dodged it and planted him with an Angle Slam. To the surprise of everyone in the arena, Bryan kicked out! Angle's eyes were widened as he expected that to be the dagger. Angle stalked him once again, patiently waiting for Bryan to stir to his feet. He attempted the Angle Slam again, but Bryan was able to counter it as he grabbed Angle's arm, pulling him down to the canvas. Bryan then locked Angle in the Yes! Lock as the Olympic Gold Medalist looked to be on the verge of uncharacteristically submitting. It was a struggle for Angle, but he soon managed to grab the bottom rope. Bryan refused to release the hold, the official nearly disqualifying him before finally complying at the four count. "I have 'til five!" shouted Bryan as he argued with the official. Angle crawled towards the center of the ring as Bryan delivered an upright kick to his face. He proceeded to deliver multiple kicks to the chest of Angle before attempting the final Roundhouse Kick. This time, Angle was able to grab Bryan's leg and lock him in the Ankle Lock. The pain was evident by the facial expression of Bryan, but he never gave in and managed to reach the ropes. Angle quickly released the hold, grabbing Bryan in a German Suplex position. Bryan held on to the top rope, refusing to let go as Angle tried to pry him away. He was eventually able to, changing the German Suplex stance into an Angle Slam attempt. Bryan was once again able to slide out of it, rolling Angle up with a grip on his singlet to steal the victory.
| DANIEL BRYAN DEFEATS. KURT ANGLE |
Daniel Bryan quickly rolls out of the ring as Kurt Angle remains stunned in the ring. "Yes!" shouts Bryan repeatedly as he hurries up the entrance ramp, having stolen the victory in this instant classic. Bryan eventually dropped to his knees on the stage, continuing his over the top celebration for one of the biggest victories of his career. Angle, on the other hand, simply stared at Bryan from a distance, disappointed that after an incredibly competitive battle, Bryan resorted to dirty tactics to rob him of the victory.
Backstage, Josh Mathews was shown standing by with Boston's own John Cena. Cena stepped onto the interview set as he was asked for his thoughts on competing against Mark Henry tonight in his hometown. Cena stated that tonight could be the ideal homecoming, or it could be his worst nightmare. He's aware of how dangerous Mark Henry is, and the fact that he now has Paul Heyman by his side doesn't help at all. But that doesn't mean he's afraid of Henry. And tonight, he will take the World's Strongest Man to the limit and defeat him right in the middle of the heart of the Boston.
Returning to the ringside area, a graphic was shown for the Divas Championship match between Eve and AJ Lee, which is arguably the most anticipated, and emotional, Divas bout in recent memory. A video package was shown that highlighted the struggles of AJ during her chase for the Divas Championship. She not only failed to capture the title at RAW 1000, but at SummerSlam as well. AJ became the No. 1 contender once again, but Eve would only agree to the title match if AJ gave the ultimate gamble - putting her career on the line. AJ accepted the stipulation, saying that she believes that she is primed and ready to fulfill her life long dream and become champion, and is willing to put everything that she has on the line.
DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP VS. CAREER EVE (C) VS. AJ LEE | The bell sounded as AJ Lee charged towards Eve, who side stepped her. The happened twice thereafter as Eve laughed at AJ for her failed attempts to strike her. In responde, AJ grabbed Eve by her legs, pulling her down to the mat. AJ violently struck Eve repeatedly and slammed the back of her head off of the canvas as the official restrained her. Eve tried to back away into a corner, but AJ charged towards her again. The official pulled AJ away for the second time, letting her know that the next would result in a disqualification. That time away from the action allowed Eve to strike AJ from behind. The defending Divas Champion hit AJ with a few forearms to the side of her face, pushing her into a corner. Eve drove her heel into the clavicle of AJ, releasing it before the official could reach the five count. AJ retaliated with a kick to the mid section, followed by a heavy strike to the face. As AJ charged towards Eve, the Divas Champion caught her with a kick to the mid-section. Eve then caught AJ with a Bicycle Kick, taking the challenger off of her feet. Eve covered AJ, but only managed to gain a two count. Furious, Eve struck AJ repeatedly on the canvas, returning the favor for the attack earlier in the bout. She wrapped her arm around AJ's neck, lifting her up onto her feet. She was looking to hit a Neckbreaker, but the resilient AJ tried to fight out of it. Eve was able to suppress AJ by hitting her with a few knees to the face. During the Neckbreaker attempt, AJ managed to fight her way out of it with a few elbows strikes to the back of her head. AJ then turned Eve around, delivering a Hurricarana into a pinning predicament. AJ looked to have had the victory, but Eve managed to kick out at two. As AJ ran towards her, Eve kicked her in the mid-section before planting her with a DDT. Once again, AJ refused to give in as she got a shoulder up. Eve became angered by this point, yelling at AJ to stay down. The Divas Champion attempted to hit a Running Senton, but AJ was able to get her knees up as Eve crashed onto them. With Eve holding her lower back area, AJ was looking to finish her off with the Shining Wizard, but the Divas Champion side stepped it. Eve then rolled up AJ, only getting a two count. Eve took a bit too much time getting to her feet as AJ ran towards her, delivering a Dropkick to the top of her head. Eve backed into a corner as AJ charged at her with a Splash. AJ delivered two more Splashes before Eve dropped to the canvas. AJ launched herself up in the air while holding the top rope, coming down with a kick to the sternum of Eve. She pulled the Divas Champion into the center of the ring, covering her and getting a near fall. AJ picked Eve up, hitting a few forearms onto her. As she was running the ropes, Eve caught her and hit a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker. Once again, AJ was able to kick out. This only further aggravated Eve, who picked AJ up to her feet, attempting the Neckbreaker for the second time. AJ was able to fight out of it, pushing Eve away and hitting a devastating Yakuza Kick. She quickly covered Eve with a hook of the legs, but couldn't seal the victory. AJ placed Eve in a corner, climbing onto the second rope while delivering numerous shots to her forehead. Eve managed to grab AJ by her legs, placing her in Powerbomb position. The fired up AJ was able to fight out of it, delivering another Hurricarana. Eve had trouble getting to her feet, which ended up costing her as AJ delivered the Shining Wizard! AJ wasn't able to immediately get the cover, crawling towards the downed Eve. She finally draped her arm over Eve, who managed to place her foot on the bottom rope in time. AJ was heartbroken at that point as she believed that she had the victory. She attempted to hit another Shining Wizard, but Eve reacted in time and hit a Big Boot. The Divas Champion was all smiles as she finally had AJ right where she wanted her. She attempted the Neckbreaker once again, but AJ was able to counter it into a Neckbreaker of her own! AJ was finally in position to not only end Eve's reign as Divas Champion, but defeat her with her own maneuver. However, as AJ had the cover, Assisting Supervisor Summer Rae ran down to ringside and pulled the referee's leg. Summer, who was defeated by AJ on SmackDown, backed up the entrance ramp as the official shouted at her to leave the area. AJ was livid, realizing that Summer ruined her opportunity to finally put Eve away. During that distraction, Eve delivered an elbow to the lower back of AJ, grabbing the back of her neck and hitting the Neckbreaker. Eve covered AJ to get the victory, retain her title, and crush the lifelong dream of AJ. | EVE DEFEATS. AJ LEE ; STILL DIVAS CHAMPION |
Silence came over the TD Garden as the commentators were at a loss for words as to what had just happened. Eve was handed back her Divas Championship as she raised it high in the air. A replay of the ending sequence was shown as Summer Rae, Assisting Supervisor to RAW General Manager Brad Maddox, made her way down to ringside to prevent AJ from getting the victory. Eve stood tall with the title on the stage, continuing one of the most impressive Divas Championship reigns of all time. After she left, AJ was shown on her knees in the ring, tears pouring from her eyes. The audience gave her a standing ovation for her effort, but it just wasn't enough. AJ took the biggest risk any competitor could take, and because of outside involvement, she failed. The career of AJ Lee is over and her lifelong dream will remain unfulfilled, and it's all courtesy of both Summer Rae and the Divas Champion, Eve.
An advertisement was shown for WWE '13, available in stores October 30th.
Returning to the live feed, the commentators were shown still at a loss for words at what just transpired here at Night of Champions. AJ Lee was unable to capture the Divas Championship from Eve, and because of that, her career is over. The silence in the arena was interrupted by the sound of 3MB's theme song. Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal made their way down to the ring, questions arising as to why they are here. The three "rock stars" grabbed microphones as Slater asked how there could be a show titled Night of Champions without the champions of rock and roll? The audience showered the trio with boos as Slater stated that he should have expected this kind of reception. "The three of us came here tonight because we were under the impression that Boston was opening up for us. But instead, we have to grace the ignorant people of Boston with our presence," said Slater. McIntyre then asked if the WWE Universe were ready to officially get the show underway. The three of them ignored the negative, asking for their "hit single" of a theme song to be played. They then proceeded to play air guitar to the rhythm of their theme. Suddenly, pyro blasted from the stage as the theme song of Chris Jericho hit. The audience erupted as the lights shut, several miniature lights being shown on the stage. The lights came back on as "Y2J" himself was shown standing on the stage! The WWE Universe roared with excitement as 3MB looked as if they had seen a ghost. Jericho stepped into the ring, staring at the trio for a bit. "I don't get it. What are you guys supposed to be?" asked Jericho. Jinder Mahal told him that they are the hottest act in all of music today. Jericho stated that if they really are, then they should have been on the overseas tour that he and Fozzy just completed. "You know, because that's what real rock stars do with their lives. Not run their mouths and call out someone is 10,000 miles away," said Jericho. Slater told Jericho that first of all, they are real rock stars. And second, since Jericho is here now, they're officially calling him out. "You want to call me out? Alright then," said Jericho before delivering a Codebreaker out of nowhere to Mahal! McIntyre swung at Jericho, who ducked the shot and hit him with a Codebreaker as well. Slater quickly exited the ring, making his way up the entrance ramp unscathed. Jericho stared at the frontman of 3MB, mocking him by performing his air guitar dance. 3MB wanted Chris Jericho, and now, they have him. And they may regret the day that got under the skin of Y2J.
A graphic was shown for the first of two Championship Scramble matches, which is for the World Heavyweight Championship. A video package was shown that took us back to Cody Rhodes' victory over Randy Orton at SummerSlam for the World Title. A series of qualifying matches would then take place for the Championship Scramble match as Orton, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, and the Big Show all qualified. However, heavy tension would arise among all members. Big Show delivered a shocking Knockout Punch to Orton during his rematch with Rhodes, costing him the World Heavyweight Title. After an altercation between Damien Sandow and Ricardo Rodriguez on NXT, Del Rio would attack the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" during his SmackDown debut. Del Rio would go on to put his spot in the Scramble match on the line against Sandow, and failed to hold possession of it as Sandow scored the upset victory. Rhodes and Sheamus have seen their rivalry brew recently, including a double count out finish. Tonight, five men collide under Championship Scramble rules, and only one will leave with the richest prize on SmackDown - the World Heavyweight Championship.
CHAMPIONSHIP SCRAMBLE MATCH FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP CODY RHODES (C) VS. RANDY ORTON VS. SHEAMUS VS. BIG SHOW VS. DAMIEN SANDOW | The defending champion, Cody Rhodes, had the unfortunate duty of starting off the match as the first entrant, meaning that if he wanted to leave Night of Champions with his title intact, he would have to go the distance. To the dismay of Rhodes, the theme of Randy Orton hit next as he would be starting things off with the man he defeated for the title last month at SummerSlam. The bell sounded as the two locked up, Orton applying a Headlock onto Rhodes. The World Heavyweight Champion pushed him away, but Orton was able to take him down with a Shoulder Block. Orton quickly went for the cover, Rhodes able to instantly kick out. Orton delivered a kick to the side of Rhodes' head, going back to the Headlock. Rhodes struggled a bit, but was able back Orton into a corner. The hold was released as Rhodes kicked Orton a few times in the mid section, bringing him towards the center of the ring and delivering a Body Slam. Rhodes then ascended to the second rope, coming down a with a knee onto the face of Orton. Rhodes got the cover, but not the temporary victory. He picked Orton up to his feet, placing him in position for the Alabama Slam. Orton slid out of it, rolling Rhodes up for the two count. Rhodes rolled out of the ring, trying to buy himself time away from the "Viper". Orton made chase for the champion, but Rhodes was able to outsmart him and hit the Disaster Kick off of the barricade. Rhodes tossed Orton back into the ring and covered him for the count of two. The clock appeared on the screen with ten seconds remaining before the next entrance as the WWE Universe counted down in unison. Out next was former NXT Champion and SmackDown's newest superstar, Damien Sandow. The "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" hit the ring and went right after Orton. Both Sandow and Rhodes proceeded to double team the "Viper", taking him with a tag team Suplex. Rhodes stepped aside as Sandow delivered the Elbow of Disdain to Orton. He got the cover, but Orton managed to kick out. During the pin attempt, Rhodes took a few steps towards Sandow, likely to break up the count. Sandow didn't pay much attention to that, allowing Rhodes is turn to attack Orton. As he was going for Cross Rhodes, Orton managed to counter it into an RKO attempt. Rhodes pushed Orton towards Sandow, who was hit with an RKO in the process. Orton sent Rhodes flying over the top rope as he was charging towards him. With the champion out of the way, Orton covered Sandow for the three count. Randy Orton is the World Heavyweight Champion. The audience popped huge for Orton as the announcement was made that he is the interim champion. Rhodes attempted to re-enter the ring, but Orton was quickly able to stop him. The "Viper" then planted Rhodes with his patented Hung DDT. Orton looked to be on fire as both Rhodes and Sandow were downed on the canvas. The clock re-appeared on the screen as it was now time for another superstar to enter the fray. Orton had hopes of the Big Show entering next as he locked his eyes on the stage. Instead, the theme of Sheamus hit. The "Celtic Warrior" stared as Orton from a distance. Despite not receiving the Big Show, Orton was more than glad to go toe to toe with Sheamus. He stepped into the ring and came nose to nose with Orton. Sheamus struck first as Orton retaliated. The two traded blows for a bit before Rhodes and Sandow were back on their feet, going after their two opponents. Rhodes and Sandow attempted to deliver Suplexes to Orton and Sheamus, but the tables were turned as the two faces countered them into Suplexes of their own. Rhodes and Sandow both rolled out of the ring as Orton tried to go after them. When he turned around, Sheamus drilled him with a Brogue Kick! The "Celtic Warrior" got the cover to become the interim champion. Sheamus is the World Heavyweight Champion. Following that, Sheamus headed to ringside and delivered a double Clothesline to Rhodes and Sandow. They traded blows before Rhodes kicked Sandow in the mid section. Less than a minute now remained as he was frantically trying to score a pinfall. Backstage, RAW General Manager Brad Maddox was shown in his office with his Administration of The Miz, Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler, two of which will compete in the second Championship Scramble match tonight. Maddox stated that while he was impressed with Teddy Long's variation of the Championship Scramble match, he knows he can do better. "And in fact, I will. Because I'm to take my match to the next level. Something unprecedented. Something that has never been done before. The WWE Championship Scramble match will be held under No Disqualification rules," said Maddox. Anything goes tonight when the WWE Championship is on the line.
Cutting to another camera, Damien Sandow was shown walking towards the locker room area, visibly upset that he was unable to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Josh Mathews tried to catch up with Sandow, but was rejected. "No time for that, young ignoramus. Your Intellectual Savior is feeling uncharacteristic propensity and requires time away from ignoble minds," said Sandow. Suddenly, he was attacked by Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio, who was originally scheduled to compete in the previous World Heavyweight Championship match, unloaded on Sandow as several officials entered the scene to separate the two.

They locked up as Henry managed to win the test of strength. Cena locked up with him again, but the "World's Strongest Man" was still able to get the upper hand. Cena attempted a Running Shoulder Block, but it barely moved Henry. As Cena was attempting it again, Henry used his shoulder to take him down. Cena began stirring to his feet as Henry charged towards him with a Clothesline. Rather than going for the cover, Henry placed both of his feet on Cena's chest as he stood on him, attempting to the crush him. Paul Heyman shouted orders to Henry from ringside, telling him not to ease up on Cena. Henry lifted Cena up to his feet, placing him in a Bear Hug. He attempted to squeeze the life out of Cena, but the Boston audience was thoroughly behind the hometown hero, cheering him on and giving him a sudden sure of energy. Cena hit the back of Henry's neck a few times, forcing him to release the hold a bit. Cena then countered the Bear Hug into a DDT as Henry was weakened for the first time in the match. With Henry on one knee, Cena charged towards him and hit a Running Shoulder Block. Henry rolled under the bottom rope, Cena finally in the driver's seat of this bout. However, Heyman told Henry not to go for the cover. "Punish him!" shouted Heyman as Henry nodded his head in agreement. He dragged Cena's body towards a corner, stepping onto the second rope. Henry was prepared to crush Cena, but fortunately, he managed to move out of harm's way in time. Henry crashed to the mat as Cena pulled the "World's Strongest Man" closer to the center of the ring. It was a bit of struggle, but he was able to lock in the STF! Cena had hopes of forcing Henry to submit, and it looked as if he may have at any moment. But ultimately, it wasn't meant to be as Henry grabbed the bottom rope. Cena brought Henry up to his feet, attempting to hit the Fisherman Suplex. Henry's strength didn't allow him to as it was countered into a Suplex of Henry's own. He then ran the ropes and hit Cena with a Leg Drop, unable to get the victory off of that, Henry then lifted Cena up off of his feet in a Gorilla Press position. When Henry dropped him, Cena managed to land on his feet. He hoisted Henry up to his shoulders for the Attitude Adjustment, but the strength was too much for Cena at that moment as he fell forward, Henry crushing his upper back and head area. Henry rolled off of Cena, taking a bit of time to get the cover. He soon did so, but Cena was able to get a shoulder up right before the count of three. Henry placed Cena in a corner, delivering a huge Splash to him. Henry decided that one wasn't enough as he hit another, a smile lighting up the sadistic face of Heyman. Henry was looking to hit one more, but this time, Cena was able to move out of harm's way, causing Henry to crash into the turnbuckles. With Henry dazed momentarily, Cena was able to lift him up to his shoulders, hitting an unbelievable Attitude Adjustment! The WWE Universe roared with excitement as Heyman's eyes and mouth were widened. The maneuver took a lot out of Cena as well as he remained motionless for a bit. As Cena was crawling towards Henry to get the cover, the theme of Brock Lesnar hit! The audience gasped as Cena turned his attention to the stage, he too shocked. "Can it be? It is!" shouted Michael Cole on commentary as Brock Lesnar made his way out to the stage! The "Next Big Thing" slowly made his way down to ringside as Cena stood in a fighting stance, challenging him. Lesnar suddenly stopped and simply stared at the man he beat to a bloody pulp last month at SummerSlam. Cena was then turned around by Henry, who planted him with a World's Strongest Slam to finally get the victory. | MARK HENRY DEFEATS. JOHN CENA |
The Boston audience looked on in shock as their hometown hero has been defeated by the "World's Strongest Man". Henry stood to his feet, shouting "That's what I do!" as Paul Heyman raised his arm in victory. Brock Lesnar then entered the ring, staring down at Cena. He lifted him up to his feet before hoisting him up to his shoulders. Lesnar laughed to himself before planting Cena with an F-5. Heyman and Henry watched on as Lesnar decided that he wasn't finish with Cena yet. He applied the Kimura Lock, which Cena submitted to at SummerSlam. He screamed in agony as Lesnar had the hold in tight, eventually pulling back his arm. The commentators stated that Cena's arm may have been broken as he held it while continuing to scream in pain. Lesnar picked Cena up off of the canvas, throwing him over the top rope as he landed on the injured arm. Lesnar and Henry both exited to the outside, standing over Cena. Lesnar picked him up once again, throwing him towards Henry, who planted Cena with a World's Strongest Slam onto the floor! Several officials and medics arrive to the scene, telling Lesnar and Henry to back away from Cena. The tended to him as Heyman ordered his two clients to follow him to the back. The proceeded to do so, but Lesnar suddenly decided that he wanted to inflict more pain. He pushed the officials and medics out of the way, hoisting Cena up to his shoulders. Lesnar then delivered an F-5 to Cena with his leg colliding against the the steel ring post. The audience watched in horror as Heyman forced Lesnar away, shouting "That's enough, Brock!". The deadly trio of Heyman, Lesnar and Henry all made their way up the entrance ramp as Cena's left arm and right leg may both be shattered, being left for dead in the middle of his hometown.
A promo was shown for Hell in a Cell, featuring the most demonic structure WWE history. It's live, Sunday October 28th, only on Pay-Per-View.
Returning to Night of Champions, the commentary trio were still distraught over what just transpired between John Cena and Paul Heyman's clientele of Brock Lesnar and Mark Henry. "Who knows if we'll even see John Cena again after that," stated JBL. Cutting to the backstage area, CM Punk was shown preparing for the WWE Championship Scramble match later on tonight, which we now know will be a No Disqualifications match. Suddenly, NXT Champion Seth Rollins stepped into the room. "I've got my gold. Maybe it's time for you to get yours back," said Rollins before leaving the room, Punk looking on at the young up and comer.

He grabbed the legs of Cesaro, bringing him down to the mat. Ambrose was able to display his strength to the world, lifting Cesaro off of the mat and hitting him with a Powerbomb. Ambrose patiently waited as he pulled his knee pad down, calling for a third Knee Trembler. Cesaro dodged it as Ambrose bounced off of the ropes, being hit with the Swiss Death Uppercut. Cesaro covered Ambrose, but still couldn't put away the "Psychotic Superstar". Cesaro decided to take a page out of Ambrose's book, going for a Knee Trembler of his own. A graphic was shown for the WWE Championship Scramble match, which we now know will be a No Disqualifications match. The video package for the bout first took us back to SummerSlam, where involvement from John Laurinaitis in the 5-on-5 Elimination match resulted in Brad Maddox becoming the General Manager of Monday Night RAW. Maddox would go on to form an Administration comprised of himself, Laurinaitis, Summer Rae, The Miz, Roman Reigns and WWE Champion, Dolph Ziggler. CM Punk and Wade Barrett were immediately targets of the group, but a new superstar emerged into the main event scene. That being the undefeated Ryback. Maddox attempted to sway Ryback to his side, but was unable to as the undefeated monster chose to fight for himself. Who will emerge from the Championship Scramble match with the WWE Championship. And with the bout now being held under No Disqualification rules, who knows just how chaotic and out of hand things will get?

The bell sounded as the two former rivals locked up, Punk delivering a few kicks to the leg of Barrett. The English Brawler pushed Punk away, charging towards him with a Clothesline that sent the both of them over the top rope and onto the floor. Both men were down for a bit as the countdown clock appeared. The third entrant turned out to be Ryback, only further convincing everyone that Maddox used his power to make his two Administration members the freshest men in the match. Ryback entered the ring, taking down Punk with a Shoulder Block and Barrett with a Spinebuster. Ryback placed Punk in a corner, whipping Barrett into him. Ryback charged towards the two of them, sandwiching them in a corner. He then attempted Shell Shocked on Punk, but he managed to slide out of it. After Ryback turned around, Punk caught him with a Dropkick. He got the cover on Ryback, but barely a two count. Punk was looking for a Suplex, but Ryback prevented it. Miz stomped away on Barrett for a bit, quickly attempting to become the interim champion. The fresh Miz got the upper hand on Barrett, hitting him with a his Jumping Corner Splash. As Miz gloated to the WWE Universe, he failed to realized that Ryback was standing behind him. when Miz turned around, Ryback charged towards him with the Meathook Clothesline. "Finish him!" shouted Ryback as he hoisted Miz up to his shoulders, delivering Shell Shocked to get the three count. Ryback is the WWE Champion. He delivered an Enziguri to Barrett before climbing up onto the top rope. Punk pointed both arms up to the sky before coming down with an Elbow Drop. However, Barrett managed to move out of harm's way. The countdown clock appeared for the final time tonight as the defending champion, Dolph Ziggler, made his way down to the ring. He quickly got the cover on Punk, but not the three count. Ziggler tried to get the temporary victory off of Barrett following that, but was still unsuccessful. On the outside, Ryback and Miz got into a brawl. The WWE Champion tried to intervene on behalf of his fellow Maddox Administration ally, but Ryback was able to hold his own against both men. Suddenly, Roman Reigns appeared out of the stands. He charged towards Ryback, catching him with a devastating Spear. Miz and Ziggler lifted Ryback to his feet, the two of them lifting him into the air as Reigns got him in Powerbomb position. The three of them then delivered a Triple Powerbomb to Ryback through the announce table! The undefeated monster was laid out at ringside as the three Administration members stood tall over him. Out of nowhere, Barrett charged towards Reigns and pounced him through the barricade! All hell had broken loose at that point, just as everyone had expected when the mach became a No Disqualifications match. CM Punk then grabbed a steel chair from underneath the ring, striking both Miz and Ziggler with it. The two fell onto the Spanish announce table as Punk climbed onto the top rope. He then came down with an Elbow Drop to both Miz and Ziggler through the table! "Holy sh*t!" chants rang throughout the TD Garden as all participants were down. Wade Barrett was the first to his feet, grabbing Dolph Ziggler and tossing him into the ring. Around two minutes remained in this chaotic bout as Barrett hoisted Ziggler up for Wasteland, hitting it successfully. However, John Laurinaitis made his way down to the ring and struck Barrett in the back with a steel chair. Unlike SummerSlam, the shot didn't affect Barrett as he turned around, meeting Laurinaitis face to face. Laurinaitis quickly dropped the chair and ran up the entrance ramp, escaping the wrath of Barrett. The English Brawler slid back into the ring, but was struck in the face with the steel chair from Ziggler. Barrett rolled out of the ring as Ziggler noticed Punk entering. He patiently waited as forty-five seconds remained. Ziggler swung the chair, but Punk dodged it. He then hoisted Ziggler up to his shoulders, hitting the Go To Sleep! Suddenly, the lights went out. A few seconds later, they were back on as Brock Lesnar was standing behind Punk. He turned around, only to be lifted up to Lesnar's shoulders for an F-5! For the second time tonight, Lesnar strikes as he just laid out CM Punk! With nine seconds remaining in the match, Lesnar placed Ziggler on top of Punk, forcing the official to make the three count. The time remaining expired as Lesnar's involvement keeps the WWE Championship in the camp of Brad Maddox's Administration. | DOLPH ZIGGLER DEFEATS. CM PUNK, WADE BARRETT, THE MIZ AND RYBACK ; STILL WWE CHAMPION |
Brock Lesnar was the only man standing following the match as the officials tried to hand the dazed and unconscious Dolph Ziggler his WWE Championship. Cameras scanned over the carnage at ringside as all participants were laid out. Ziggler was able to roll out of the ring as both RAW General Manager Brad Maddox and Assisting Supervisor Summer Rae assisted him up the entrance ramp. Back in the ring, CM Punk slowly began stirring to his feet as Lesnar stood behind him. Once again, Punk turned around and was hoisted to Lesnar's shoulders, being planted with a second F-5! Lesnar stood tall over Punk as the commentators question just why the "Next Big Thing", who dismantled John Cena earlier tonight, would solely target CM Punk.

Night of Champions Review
Wrestling Royalty defeat Kofi and Ryder to retain their WWE Tag Team Championships in what I thought was a great match but now that they have beaten Kofi and Ryder, it makes me wonder if any tag team in the WWE can beat them now especially on the roll they have been on single-handedly becoming the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of the modern era hell they are well on their way to becoming the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time because they have faced all comers and have turned away all comers but I wonder if they will get their titles back from PTP because if they don't, then it further intensifies the feud between Wrestling Royalty and PTP which I am all for
WWE Champion Ziggler and World Heavyweight Champion Rhodes backstage with one another talking about their respective Scramble Matches tonight with them having to defend their respective titles wishing one another luck, I wonder if one or both of these guys will end up losing their titles in the same night
Jack Swagger becoming the new WWE United States Champion defeating Christian, now Swagger can set America right his way now that he is WWE United States Champion and with Colter in his corner I think Swagger is on pace to have one of the longest reigns with that WWE United States Championship while with Christian he should be setting his sights on the WWE Championship now that he has lost the WWE United States Championship but either way the match was great especially because of Bret
Daniel Bryan beating Kurt Angle, I have to say the match was a classic, it sure as hell lived up to its hype, and Bryan coming out on top, I see this rivalry continuing especially now that Bryan got the victory
Eve Torres still the WWE Divas Champion beating AJ, AJ is gone, I can't believe this, I was so sure that Eve was going to lose her WWE Divas Championship but this decision I don't agree with it at all, I really really don't, there's no way AJ can be gone for good but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if the Chairman of this company Vince McMahon himself ends up bringing AJ back, I see the Board of Directors or even Vince himself reinstating AJ, watch, I don't think this will be the last we see of AJ while Eve as WWE Divas Champion now, I just want to see her lose the belt more than anything
Love Jericho making an appearance and attacking 3MB, just loved it
As for the World Heavyweight Championship Scramble Match, Cody Rhodes was lucky in retaining his World Heavyweight Championship defeating Orton, Sandow, Sheamus and Show, barely even escaping with that title but at the same time Rhodes used his head, so even I have to commend him for that, but still I loved this match from start to finish because honestly I feel anyone could have won this match with superstar after superstar becoming the interim champion only for it to not last long and keep changing until the last second where Rhodes used his brains and got the last pin making sure no one else could get it, just wise of Rhodes
Out of nowhere backstage just as Sandow is about to leave after an interview gets blindsided by Del Rio, boy is their feud personal now with the both of these superstars attacking one another, something has gotta give here
Mark Henry beating John Cena in his hometown, I love it, what I didn't expect was Lesnar showing up and costing Cena the match but then Lesnar's post-match attack on Cena wow that was awesome but at the same time horrific, I wonder if by doing that if that is indeed the last we see of Cena for a good while and I am loving this whole partnership with Lesnar, Henry and Heyman, now Henry's career can officially take off even more so now that he has aligned himself with both Brock and Heyman but still this match as a whole was a really great match believe it or not
Rollins and Punk backstage, definitely loved it because I see so much similarities between these 2 superstars in that Rollins reminds me so much of a young CM Punk, in fact Rollins could become the next CM Punk
Hell in a Cell, I can't wait
Antonio Cesaro's reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion is over, he was champion for such a long time and it to finally end especially at the hands of someone so deserving like Dean Ambrose just makes it all the more special and for me this is by far one of my Matches of The Night by far, it ranks right up there with this match being so back and forth but I wonder what is next for Cesaro? I wonder what's next for Ambrose now that he is the new WWE Intercontinental Champion winning his first belt here in WWE
And in the main event Ziggler retains his WWE Championship inside this Scramble Match just barely but that's not even the story here, the real story is Lesnar showing up yet again but this time destroying CM Punk, I don't get it, why? And then when Punk gets up again he gets planted with yet another F-5, if you are leading up to a Punk/Lesnar feud then the seeds have already been set in motion so I say I am all for it but it sucks that Ryback's undefeated streak is over
Great Night of Champions show and I can't wait until Hell in a Cell in terms of your build-up towards the Hell In A Cell pay per view

Night of Champions
Predictable in for Rollins in the pre-show. I liked the opening video package bit. Gives the show a big-fight feel. Wrestling Royalty retaining their titles was the best thing to do. Push both of them to the moon! Joe Hennig and Ted DiBiase are great together. Can't wait for the Wrestling Royalty versus PTP match. Millions of Dollas! Interesting promo by the World Champs. Hope they both retain their respective titles. Nice match between Christian and Swagger. Having Bret in Christian's corner elevates this match. Love the Sharpshooter part on Colter. Swagger winning the US title is cool, I guess. Hoping to see a tag match between the four men in the future. Nice promo package for Angle vs Bryan. Great match between Bryan and Angle. Although, I do see another match coming soon between them. Maybe Submission match? Angle should kick Bryan's ass. John Cena, meh. AJ Lee vs Eve sounds good. Hope AJ wins! Eve defeats AJ! What!? The match was good. Better than any recent diva match. Summer Rae costing AJ the match is cool, maybe a way to reintroduce AJ, if she ever comes back? Who's next for Eve? 3MB, babay!! Chris Jericho attacking the group was good. Give D-Mac a push! Nice retention for Cody. proves he is worthy of the title. I do see a match in the future between Rhodes and Sheamus for the title based on the ending. John Cena, meh. Glad Lesnar absolutely killed him. Don't feed Lesnar to Cena! Or I'll find you. Nice to see Rollins interact with Punk. Future call-up I hope. Good win for Ambrose. I hope to see him in the WWE Championship scene soon enough though. Lesnar attacking both Punk and Cena in the same night? That is a serous injustice. Decent win for Ziggler. Great PPV, keep it up.

I was entranced the whole way through and this was a brilliant read. The Championship scrambles were awesome, glad Rhodes & Ziggler retained. I enjoyed the Angle/Bryan match and if they ever have a match I hope it's like that. Glad Ambrose won the title and I'm very intrigued to see where you go with the AJ storyline as well as what's going to happen with Heyman's guys. Great show.

Pretty good pay-per-view here. Nice opening tag team match and a good win for Hennig and DiBiase, now they can concentrate on their real foes and mayble we'll see a big showdown at the next pay-per-view. Solid U.S. Title match with Swagger getting the gold. Very good match between Angle and Bryan and I expected Angle to put Bryan over, even with Bryan getting a dirty win. Not much interested in the Divas title, but a decent match. Nice segment between Chris Jericho and 3MB, don't know about Jericho taking them out single-handedly, though. Interested to see if this leads anywhere. Good Smackdown scramble match and I expect Sheamus to go after Rhodes for the title. Brock Lesnar helping Mark Henry beat John Cena? Interesting, this should set up a future meeting between the two, possibly at the next month's pay-per-view or even at Survivor Series. Ambrose beat Cesaro to win the IC Title as expected. And Lesnar gets involved again, this time in the Raw Scramble match. I can see CM Punk joining forces with Cena to take on Lesnar and Ziggler.
Overall a good supercard, my only beef is all but one of the matches were won by heels. There's no reason not to have some more babyface victories mixed in there. Still another good job here.

| BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT - SEPTEMBER 17, 2012 |
- Following the signature WWE intro, a video recapping the events of last night's events at Night of Champions was shown, focusing on RAW's two main events. "The Next Big Thing" Brock Lesnar made a shocking and sudden return to the WWE, costing John Cena his bout against the "World's Strongest Man," Mark Henry. Following that bout, Lesnar and Henry would dismantle Cena in a horrific manner, possibly, and likely, resulting in both a broken right leg and left arm for Cena. However, that wouldn't be the last we saw of Lesnar that evening. During a wild and chaotic WWE Championship Scramble match, Lesnar got himself involved and delivered an F-5 to CM Punk, allowing Dolph Ziggler to retain his WWE Championship. Moments later, Lesnar would plant Punk with another F-5, establishing his dominance over the WWE.
- Exclusive WWE.com footage from Night of Champions aired at this time, showing John Cena being hauled onto an ambulance following the assault at the hands of Brock Lesnar and Mark Henry. While Cena was being carted onto the ambulance, RAW General Manager Brad Maddox, John Laurinaitis and Paul Heyman all approached him, watching and giving slight smirks as one of the prime targets of the Maddox Administration may be eliminated for good. Cutting to the arena, those three men, along with Assisting Supervisor Summer Rae, were shown standing in the ring as the WWE Universe relentlessly booed them. Maddox stated that last night's Night of Champions event was a huge success for the Maddox Administration. "We would first like to congratulate Eve on retaining the Divas Championship. We never identified AJ Lee as a problem here on Monday Night RAW, but she certainly was not aiding it. So thank you, Eve, for a job well done." Summer Rae could be seen smiling, obviously thrilled over the fact that she assisted Eve and defeating AJ and ending her young career. "Mark Henry also deserves a round of applause for his massive win over John Cena in his own hometown of Boston. And John, we here at the Maddox Administration wish you a speedy recovery," said Maddox as Heyman let out a quick chuckle. "And last, but certainly not least, the WWE Championship remains where it should be. Not just in the Administration, but around the waist of one of the greatest athletes of all time. An inspiration to many all over, and the true 'Best in the World.' Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for the WWE Champion, Dolph Ziggler!" The Maddox Administration applauded for Ziggler as his theme hit, the WWE Champion limping out to the stage. He was followed by The Miz and Roman Reigns, who were also showing the effects of last night's chaotic events. The three of them stepped into the ring, greeting all four other Maddox Administration members. Ziggler took the microphone, saying that before Night of Champions, many people doubted him as champion. They believed that he stole the title and didn't deserve to be recognized as champion. "They all said that I was undeserving, unqualified, untalented. And last night, I did what I do better than anyone else and that's steal the show and prove all of the naysayers wrong. I stepped into this ring last night and defeated three former WWE Champions. No offense, Miz. As well as an undefeated monster who the world has been raving about. The odds were against me and I showed up and showed off. And I am still standing here as your rightful and deserving WWE Champion!" shouted Ziggler as the audience expressed their dismay. Ziggler then said that since he is the WWE Champion and calls the shots around here, he's been given permission to choose tonight's main event that will have decide his next challenger. "Tonight, three of last night's four losers will compete in a Triple Threat match to determine who will be the next to fall at the 'Show Off''s feet. Wade Barrett, Ryback, and The Miz," said Ziggler as he and Miz shook hands. "Sorry, CM Punk. You've had more opportunities than anyone else, and now, I'm cutting them off. You will never get anywhere near the WWE Title for as long as I am the one holding it," said Ziggler. Paul Heyman then took the microphone, asking for everyone's attention. "Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman, and I am the agent for the two biggest, baddest beasts that the WWE has ever seen. The 'World's Strongest Man' Mark Henry will be here later tonight as he and I will address John Cena, who I heard took a bit of tumble last night at Night of Champions. And as for Brock Lesnar, he did not plan on being here tonight. But WWE.com broke the news earlier today that CM Punk has a death wish and will call out Lesnar. Because of that, he will be here tonight, and will meet Punk face to face. So Punk, be prepared to join your little buddy John Cena in the emergency room because if Brock Lesnar gets his hands on you, you will no longer be able to compete and reiterate yourself as the 'Best in the World.'" Heyman dropped his microphone as all members of the Maddox Administration raised each other's arms, standing tall as one after a triumphant Night of Championship Pay-Per-View event.
- Backstage, the WWE Tag Team Champions Wrestling Royalty were shown making their way down to the ring. They meet Zack Ryder and Kofi Kingston in a Night of Champions rematch, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, a recap of the opening segment was shown as two major events for tonight have been confirmed. Wade Barrett, Ryback and The Miz will all compete in a Triple Threat match to determine the new No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship. Plus, CM Punk has made it clear that he will call out Brock Lesnar tonight and confront the "Next Big Thing" face to face on his actions last night at Night of Champions.
- WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS - WRESTLING ROYALTY DEF. ZACK RYDER AND KOFI KINGSTON: After failing to capture the WWE Tag Team Championships at Night of Champions last night, Zack Ryder and Kofi Kingston were granted one final opportunity at the gold, held by the dominant duo of Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig. Still, DiBiase and Hennig were without possession of their titles as they were stolen last week by the Prime Time Players. And speaking of them, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil made their way out to the front row of the audience, the Tag Team Championships strapped around their waists. DiBiase and Hennig were immediately distracted by this, but couldn't take their eyes off of the bout. Ultimately, they managed to overcome the distraction and hit Kofi with the Samoan Drop/Swinging Neckbreaker combination to get the victory.
- Immediately following the match, Ted DiBiase made his way out to ringside to confront the Prime Time Players. Titus O'Neil was prepared as he swung at him, but DiBiase dodged the shot and pulled Titus over the barricade. Joe Hennig did the same to Darren Young as Wrestling Royalty went to work on the Prime Time Players. Surprisingly, the audience popped for DiBiase and Hennig as they tried to take back their WWE Tag Team Championships as well as deliver a beating to the Prime Time Players. Several officials arrived on the scene to separate the two teams. While being pulled apart, Young and O'Neil were able to quickly grab the WWE Tag Team Championships and storm out of the arena through the audience. DiBiase and Hennig tried to make chase for them, but the officials prevented them from advancing. Wrestling Royalty are still without their WWE Tag Team Championships, but have made it clear to the Prime Time Players that they will go through any lengths to get them back.
- Backstage, RAW General Manager Brad Maddox was shown in his office on the phone, presumably with Mark Henry. "Look, Mark. I understand that you want to compete tonight. But there just isn't anyone who is either available or willing to face you. You're that dominant," said Maddox when a knock was heard on the door. A few seconds later, Chris Jericho entered the room to a massive ovation from the Bridgeport audience. Maddox asked Jericho what he was doing here, seeing as he is a SmackDown superstar. "Does it really matter what show I'm on? The point is that I am here, I'm ready to compete for the first time in a month, and you need an opponent for Mark Henry. So what do you say?" asked Jericho. Maddox slowly placed the phone back to his ear, telling Henry that he's in luck. "A delusional mid-life crisis rock star is willing to face you," said the RAW General Manager before hanging up. "Weren't you a janitor?" asked Jericho before leaving the room, leaving the audience laughing and Maddox fuming.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, Wade Barrett was shown in the locker room area, still banged up after last night's WWE Championship Scramble match that saw complete anarchy break out. Soon, Ryback stepped into the room, meeting Barrett face to face. Barrett told the undefeated monster that he got lucky last night. "You're not the WWE Champion, but you are still undefeated. However, that streak of yours is still in jeopardy because tonight, I'm going to become the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship. Dolph Ziggler, John Laurinaitis, and everyone else involved in this entire Maddox Administration need to face the proper consequences for what they have done to me. And I will do anything to make sure that the one who dethrones them is me," said Barrett. Ryback continued to breathe heavily, telling Barrett that he encouraged him to try and stop his warpath. "There is nobody who is more hungry for both revenge and championship gold than I am. And after tonight, I will be one step closer to simultaneously achieving both of them. Feed me more! Feed me more!" shouted Ryback as the WWE Universe joined along in his chant, he and Barrett continuing to stare at each other.
- UNITED STATES CHAMPION JACK SWAGGER W/ ZEB COLTER DEF. TYSON KIDD: Night of Champions turned out to be a success for the patriotic duo of Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter as Swagger was able to defeat Christian and capture the United States Championship. Tyson Kidd challenged Swagger to this match, looking for a bit of revenge on behalf of Bret Hart, whom he has close ties to. In the end, Swagger planted Kidd with the Patriot Powerbomb to seal the victory.
- After the sound of the bell, Zeb Colter grabbed the United States Championship and a microphone from ringside as he handed both of them to Jack Swagger. Swagger said that last night at Night of Champions, the world witnessed the true birth of a better America. One that will be known as "Jack Swagger's America." Colter then said that he and Swagger vowed to restore honor and pride in America, and that's exactly what they're doing, and that's exactly why the United States Championship is now in their camp. "The former champion that you all love so very much, Christian, is not here tonight. Because he realizes that he is no match for Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter, and has no place in America. Christian has admitted defeat and is now proceeding to cross over the Canadian border once again, and this time, remain there with the rest of his idiotic 'peeps.' This is a victory for myself. This is a victory for Jack Swagger. This is a victory for America. And this is a victory for we the people," said Colter. Swagger than shouted "We the people!" as he raised the United States Championship high in the air.
- Backstage, Zack Ryder and Kofi Kingston were shown walking down a corridor, coming off of another loss to the WWE Tag Team Champions, Wrestling Royalty. Kofi told Ryder not to worry about this loss as there will be other opportunities. Ryder uncharacteristically lashed out at Kofi, saying that he doesn't want to hear that anymore. "All throughout my career, that's exactly what I've been told time and time again. There will be other opportunities, but they never come. I was one of the first superstars to rebel against Brad Maddox. And now, nobody even remembers that because of guys like Wade Barrett and Ryback. I was in the main event of a Pay-Per-View for the WWE Championship, and does anyone even care? I'm tired of being told that there will be other opportunities. I'm tired of being overshadowed. I'm just tired," said Ryder as he walked alone, leaving Kofi and the WWE Universe puzzled by his choice of words.
- A graphic was shown for the upcoming match between Mark Henry and Chris Jericho. It's next, live on RAW
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, Bray Wyatt was shown in a dark lit room with the rest of his Church, Brodus Clay and Tensai. Wyatt said that last week, he could hear another lost soul crying out for help. "And me being the savior that I am, I decided to extend my hand out to the voices. But as I got closer to the screams, I realized that this soul was in dire need of more than just help. A lifetime worth of trauma haunts this soul, and I am prepared to wash away all of the scarred memories within its brain," said Wyatt. He then referred to Kane by his name, saying that the "Big Red Monster" needs him and his church. "With our assistance, Kane will finally be free. All of the traumatic experiences will be released and he'll be allowed to live a peaceful, promising life alongside myself and my children. Soon, Kane will be baptized and become a part of our family. But I for one certainly hope that Kane doesn't show any hint of rebellion. Because when you rebel against my Church, you're playing with fire. And Kane should know better than anyone else that when you play with fire.......you get burned......hahaha.......tiiiiiiime is on my siiiiiiide."
- MARK HENRY W/ PAUL HEYMAN DEF. CHRIS JERICHO: A great bout to round out the first hour here on RAW. Both men were coming off of a successful night at Night of Champions, though Henry clearly came in with a more dominant nature after what he and Brock Lesnar did to John Cena. Henry was able to continue riding his wave of momentum, spoiling Jericho's return with a World's Strongest Slam for the win.
- Henry stood to his feet, standing tall over Chris Jericho as the audience showered him with boos. Paul Heyman grabbed a microphone, handing it to the "World's Strongest Man." Henry said that last night, John Cena went into their match fully aware of what he is capable of. And yet he still decided to get himself into trouble. "I not only beat everyone's hero, but I did it in the middle of his hometown. And afterwards, Brock Lesnar and I made sure that Cena will never step into this ring again. I don't care if Cena's career is over. In fact, I hope it is. Because the image of Cena's arm and leg crumbled right before the world's very eyes will be displayed front and center in the Hall of Pain." Henry dropped the microphone as he and Heyman left up the entrance ramp.
- Backstage, AJ Lee was shown walking down a corridor as she is prepared to give her parting words to the WWE Universe. Soon, she stopped as she was met by Summer Rae, who had security alongside her. Summer simply smiled at AJ, who stared back at her with a vengeful glance. However, she was unable to do anything about it. AJ continued on, joining us for the final time, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, Matt Striker was shown in the backstage area with the man who is set to make his debut tonight, Fandango. Fandango stepped into the interview scene as Striker tried to get his thoughts on his debut tonight. Fandango stopped Striker, asking what he just said. When Striker said Fandango's name, he stopped him yet again. "You're not saying it properly. Try again," said Fandango. When Striker tried to say his name, Fandango responded with "No, no, Martin. You need to let the A's breathe." He said his name in an exaggerated manner, asking Striker one more time to say it. Striker failed to say it properly, further infuriating Fandango. "I will not make my debut until you can say my name correctly. So congratulations, Martin. Because you just cost the world the debut of...." said Fandango before repeating his name.
- Cutting back to the arena, the theme of AJ Lee hit for the final time as she made her way out to the stage, visibly distraught over the fact that after failing to capture the Divas Championship last night, her career is now over. Rather than skipping down to the ring, AJ simply walked around the ringside area, greeting all of the fans in the front row. She grabbed a microphone before stepping into the ring, taking a while before speaking. AJ said that over the past few weeks, she was well aware of what would happen if she failed at Night of Champions. "But I didn't want to think about it, because I truly believed that Night of Champions was my time. And truthfully, it was. I had Eve defeated and the Divas Championship nearly in my hands. But it's all because of Summer Rae," said AJ as her tone became increasingly vile. "This has been my dream since I was twelve years old, and I would be lying if I said that I knew I would get here someday. Just to step into a ring for the first time was all I thought I would ever accomplish, and then I made it to the WWE. And then I became the No. 1 contender for the Divas Championship. And when I consider everything that I have been through in life, I felt that nothing could stop me from living my dream. But it's like I said, it's all because of that no good, arrogant, snobbish, barbie bi-" AJ was then suddenly cut off by the theme of the Divas Champion, Eve. She made her way down to the ring with the security guards that protected Summer Rae moments ago. She stepped into the ring, laughing as AJ was still fuming. Eve told AJ that she should choose her words about Summer carefully. "You lost last night, and as a result, your career is over. You're no longer an employee of World Wrestling Entertainment, and you shouldn't even be here. But out of the kindness of her heart, Summer is allowing you to say goodbye. And on top of that, don't be so vengeful towards Summer. Because she didn't screw you out of anything. The reason you failed to become Divas Champion at Night of Champions is you," said Eve. She told AJ that she wasn't good enough to defeat her, and never has been. "I don't even know why you made it this far. I mean, just look at you. You're a little girl in a woman's world. And in this world, I am the dominant woman. And don't even try to relate your personal life to your once-professional life, because it clearly doesn't matter. You came from nothing, and you are nothing. I couldn't care less about the fact that you came from poverty. Because now, I'm sending you back to poverty with the rest of your family." After that comment, AJ jumped towards Eve, taking the Divas Champion down to the canvas! The audience erupted as AJ was able to get a few strikes in before security pulled her out of the ring. She was escorted up the entrance ramp as Eve picked up her microphone, telling off AJ even further. "Go ahead, AJ. Cry. Cry because you know that you failed. And your dream will always remain a dream. While I'm standing here as the Divas Champion living your dream, you're going to be bagging my groceries, And I couldn't be any happier," said Eve. AJ was shown on the stage being carried out by security, tears streaming down her face as she screamed. The audience gave Eve a ton of heat, though the Divas Champion didn't care one bit as she raised the title high in the air, watching as AJ left the arena for the final time.
- A graphic was shown for the No. 1 contender's Triple Threat match with Wade Barrett, Ryback and The Miz, coming up next on RAW!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, Divas Champion Eve was shown walking down a corridor, laughing to herself after watching AJ being escorted out of the arena for the final time. Josh Mathews caught up with her, asking if she feels any remorse over anything she just said to AJ. "Why should I? AJ failed, and she should be aware of that. She has no right to place the blame for her own mistakes on Summer Rae. AJ is gone, forever out of my life. I never have to see her little crazy face ever again, and like I said, I couldn't be any happier." Before Eve left, she said that it's unfortunate for AJ that just a few days before she was set to return home to NXT, she's now literally going home. "But you know what? I think AJ deserves a proper sendoff. So this Wednesday, I will personally make AJ's appearance on NXT on her behalf. And I will give her the sendoff that she deserves," said Eve before leaving the scene, announcing that she will visit Full Sail University for NXT this Wednesday.
- NO. 1 CONTENDERS MATCH - WADE BARRETT DEF. RYBACK AND THE MIZ: A fantastic Triple Threat main event bout with three of the men who failed to capture the WWE Championship last night at Night of Champions. WWE Champion Dolph Ziggler and John Laurinaitis stood on the stage, observing as the next challenger for the gold would be decided. Towards the end of the match, Roman Reigns hit the scene through the audience, Spearing Ryback through the barricade! The undefeated monster was laid out as Miz and Barrett remained in the ring. As Miz was going for the Skull Crushing Finale, Barrett was able to deliver a few elbows that threw him off of his balance. With Miz momentarily stunned, Barrett hoisted him up to his shoulders, delivering Wasteland to get the victory.
- The audience erupted for Barrett as he stood to his feet, celebrating his victory while a graphic appeared on the screen to confirm him as the new No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship. Dolph Ziggler and John Laurinaitis watched from the stage as Barrett glanced at the two of them, motioning for the WWE Championship. Someday, somewhere, Barrett will have the opportunity at both retribution against the Maddox Administration as well as regaining what he never lost - the WWE Championship.
- Backstage, CM Punk was shown walking down a corridor. Punk will call out the man who screwed him out of the WWE Championship, Brock Lesnar, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for Hell in a Cell, live Sunday October 28th, only on Pay-Per-View.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, the theme of CM Punk hit to a massive ovation from the Bridgeport audience. Punk made his way out to the stage, clearly frustrated with what occurred 24 hours ago at Night of Champions. He made his way down to the ring, grabbing a microphone as the WWE Universe chanted his name in unison. Punk said that he knows John Cena is watching this from a hospital bed right now, so he wants to set something straight first. "John and I have never seen eye to eye and we never will. He isn't my friend, but I respect John. So to have to sit back last night and watch Brock Lesnar and Mark Henry dismantle was sickening to say the least. But at that point, Lesnar and Henry were not my problem. My problem was with Dolph Ziggler and the Maddox Administration. I had the opportunity to resolve that issue in the WWE Championship Scramble match. And just when I had the WWE Championship in my grasp, Brock Lesnar of all people intervenes and takes it away from me. And that moment, Lesnar officially became my problem. So Brock, I'm right here, and I'm not afraid of you. You don't intimidate me, and you're not a threat. So get your ass out here now," said Punk as the audience popped for him.
- Punk waited in the ring for a few seconds until the theme of Lesnar hit. The "Next Big Thing" made his way out to stage alongside his agent, Paul Heyman. Together, the two of them marched down to the ring, meeting Punk face to face. As Punk and Lesnar faced off, Heyman stepped in between them. Lesnar stepped to the side for a bit as Heyman grabbed a microphone. "It's great to see you again, Punk," said Heyman. Punk hesitated a bit, but soon told Heyman that it would be good to seem him as well if it were under better circumstances. "Paul, I have nothing but the utmost respect for you. Without your assistance, I wouldn't be here right now. But right now, this isn't about you and I. This is about me and your beast," said Punk. Heyman told Punk that even though he may not have anything to do with this situation, he is here to speak on behalf of Lesnar. "It's like this, Punk. When my client, Brock Lesnar, made his return to the WWE, his intentions were to dethrone John Cena as the face of the WWE. And at SummerSlam, he did just that. He not only defeated John Cena, but he dismantled him. I mean, absolutely ripped him to pieces. But Cena refused to stay down, and even had the audacity to say that Brock failed to get the job done. So at Night of Champions, Brock made sure that he finished the job. And he didn't just finish the job, but he finished John Cena's career. However, that wasn't enough for Brock. Because with Cena out of the way, he still was not the true face of the WWE. Because even though the face of the company is out of the picture, the 'Best in the World' is still standing. And Brock really doesn't enjoy sharing the spotlight with anyone. So if Brock is going to be deemed the face of the WWE, he may as well make his stay worth while and become the 'Best in the World' while he's at it. And that, CM Punk, is why Brock Lesnar got involved in your match last night. His intentions were not to screw you out of the WWE Championship, but simply to let you know that someone is coming for your spot." After Heyman finished speaking, Punk said that while Lesnar's intentions may not have been to cost him the WWE Championship, he still did. "And I'm going to kick your ass for it," said Punk as the audience applauded him. "See, Brock, here's where reality is going to slap you in the face. John Cena's position as the face of the WWE is one that is interchangeable. It isn't impossible to become the new face of the company. However, 'Best in the World' isn't a position. It's a fact. I am the best wrestler in the world, and nobody can take that from me as long as I am alive and breathing. So if you want to be the best in the world, Brock, you're going to have to kill me," said Punk. At that moment, Lesnar took Paul Heyman's microphone and confronted Punk. "Be careful what you wish for, Punk. I left John Cena for dead last night at Night of Champions, and I can easily do the same to you. This company isn't big enough for the two of us, and I'm going to take you out of the spotlight," said Lesnar. Punk told the "Next Big Thing" that if he wants to take him out, then why doesn't he. "Why don't we make this official? You and I one on one in this ring!" said Punk. The audience erupted for the proposal as Heyman pulled Lesnar to the side, the two discussing in private. Heyman took his microphone back, telling Punk and that he and Lesnar have come up with a solution. "If you want Brock Lesnar to tear you apart in the middle of this ring, then it will happen. But on one condition," said Heyman. After Punk asked for the condition, Heyman informed him and the WWE Universe of it. "See, Brock is a fighter. He prepares mentally and physically like no other human being. So my client requests a fair amount of time to prepare for this match. Say......six weeks. Say......at Hell in a Cell." The audience responded fairly to Heyman's condition. "Fine. I accept," said Punk as the audience erupted for the official confirmation of he and Lesnar's match. As Heyman and Lesnar were leaving the ring, Punk stopped them. "I wasn't finished yet. Because I too have one condition for this match to be made official," said Punk. Heyman seemed a bit surprised, but listened to Punk. "If we're going to do this at Hell in a Cell, then we're going to do it right. Brock, I want you one on one in this ring and inside Hell in a Cell!" The roof nearly came off of the arena as Heyman's eyes and jaw were widened. Lesnar immediately took the microphone as he approached Punk. "I accept" he said before throwing the microphone to the side. He and Punk continued to stare at one another as the match is now official. At Hell in a Cell, it will be "The Best" vs. "The Beast" inside the WWE's most demonic structure, Hell in a Cell!

RAW Review
Punk vs Lesnar one-on-one inside the Devil's Playground inside Hell in a Cell, I remember the last Cell match Punk was in was when he was facing Cena and Del Rio in a Triple Threat Hell in a Cell but even before that Punk faced Taker inside Hell in a Cell, so Punk has experience inside the Cell but also Lesnar has experience inside a Cell fighting in an octagon on a daily basis in the UFC but also because when Lesnar used to be in the WWE he was in a Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker, so I have no doubt Punk and Lesnar will tear the house down at Hell in a Cell
Wade Barrett becoming the new #1 Contender for the WWE Championship winning a #1 Contender's Triple-Threat Match beating Ryback and The Miz in order to get that opportunity, I love it, because Barrett is all that much more closer to gaining retribution getting back a title that he never even lost in the first place, a title that he was forced to relinquish and if Barrett/Ziggler happens at Hell in a Cell for that WWE Championship then it has the potential not just to be a great feud but also potential to be a classic like think MOTY candidate and Ziggler's title reign is in serious jeopardy if you ask me
Ryback/Roman Reigns feud hopefully, and if that happens, then I see Ryback facing Reigns at Hell in a Cell and since both men are undefeated in matches, if they face each other in a streak vs streak match, then something is going to have to give
While The Miz he has been on a downward spiral ever since losing the WWE Championship back at TLC in July, so the best thing Miz could do at this point would be to walk away for a while take time off and then come back better than ever because honestly in my opinion Miz is starting to get stale fast as a heel, it is probably best if Miz turns face at this point and leaves the Administration
I feel bad for AJ Lee because I really really do not want her to leave WWE, I really don't and I just hope Triple H the COO reinstates A.J. or that Vince McMahon the Chairman of the WWE himself steps in and reinstates A.J. because A.J. is one of the best divas on this roster and for you to just can her like this, I don't understand it at all, I really don't but at the same time I really hope Eve loses that WWE Divas Championship since she has had it for so damn long but I also want AJ to get her hands on Summer Rae too
Fandango making his debut on RAW similar to when he made his debut in real life not going to compete until his name is pronounced correctly, if you have it go on for a really long time then I don't think I could be invested in him any longer but if for Fandango when can I honestly see him making his debut? I can honestly see him making his debut at Hell in a Cell or at the latest Survivor Series your next pay per view
Mark Henry wins yet another match destroying Chris Jericho after destroying John Cena the night before, it just goes to show you that Henry is on the warpath and that he has been on the warpath ever since aligning himself with Lesnar and Heyman and that because of Henry who knows how long Cena will be on the shelf, because Henry inducted him personally into the Hall of Pain and whoever has entered Henry's Hall of Pain has never been the same again, ask Big Show, ask Kane, ask Vladimir Kozlov, ask The Great Khali, I think Henry is as dangerous now as he ever was
I smell a heel turn for Zack Ryder and if that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised if Ryder does turn heel because it gives Ryder more of a push anyways so I am all for it
The new WWE United States Champion Jack Swagger with Zeb Colter, love them, love how they are restoring America back to how it should be and how we are all living in Swagger's America now, a better America especially with Swagger as champion and I see Swagger holding on to the WWE United States Championship for a very long time especially with Colter in his corner but I love how Colter just upped the ante by mentioning how Christian is not in attendance tonight but that if he knew what was good for him to stay in Canada and not come back to face Swagger again, but we all know Christian has a re-match clause and I see him using it at Hell in a Cell facing Swagger again
And Wrestling Royalty beating Ryder and Kofi yet again, but then the presence of The Prime Time Players holding those WWE Tag Team Championships which aren't even theirs but are DiBiase & Hennig's titles, but what I was most shocked about was the fact that DiBiase and Hennig were getting cheered while they were trying to get their titles back from PTP, given the fact that DiBiase and Hennig are heels but also PTP they are heels too, but at the same time I think the crowd if they had their choice of who they would rather hate, they would choose the PTP to hate, but at the same time I love heel vs heel feuds especially when it comes to tag teams, heel tag team vs heel tag team it reminds me sort of like Bad Influence vs Bobby Roode & Austin Aries in a way
Personally I can't wait until your NXT Homecoming with AJ and I hope Triple H or Vince step in and rehire AJ, please, please make that happen
But also I can't wait until Smackdown because I really want to see who ends up becoming the new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship facing Cody Rhodes at Hell in a Cell for the title, but also I want to see the new WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose but also I want to see Kurt Angle more than anything as well as Randy Orton, personally I see an Orton/Show feud heading into Hell in a Cell

But at the same time once Hell in A Cell is over and done with, then there's Survivor Series and with Survivor Series I hope Brock Lesnar competes at the pay per view too and then after that he could take a break and come back at the 2013 Royal Rumble pay per view but as for John Cena with his injuries I wouldn't be surprised if he is out for a long time meaning he might even miss the Royal Rumble or even miss WrestleMania 29, I hope so

WWE Night of Champions: Sunday 16th September 2012...Thought I'd forgotten about you? Looks like I've missed a bit. So I'll start from here. Seth Rollins successfully defending the NXT Championship against Hunico was cool, good to see Hunico appear somewhere in this diary after an extended absence, it seems. Good idea on having this featured, even if only on the YouTube Pre-Show, gives the NXT Championship further recognition and adds more overness to the progressing Rollins. Hopefully he will be appearing on the main roster soon. To kick things off, a good opening contest with Kofi Kingston and Zack Ryder challenging Michael McGillicutty and Ted Dibiase for the WWE Tag Team Championships. I see Kofi and Ryder are still a tag team, nice set-up there, I imagine that they would have pretty good chemistry as a team. I'm hoping that in 2013, we get to see a main event run for Kofi in some form. Another good defense by Dibiase and McGillicutty, I'm wondering when they will lose the belts; they have really built up the prestige of the tag team division through their reign, I love it. Huh? They don't have their title belts? Strange decision there, I'm confused on what's going on with the Prime Time Players, but I'm presuming that they are getting set up for the next pay-per-view title defense. A face routine for Titus O'Neill and Darren Young would be pretty cool, I imagine. Not a fan of including this angle on this show, however; I feel like it's taking the emphasis away from the pay-per-view and putting it onto the television show the night after. Maybe a brief promo from the real champions after the match mentioning tomorrow night would have been better, or even an interview with them later on in the show. Ah wow, Christian has Bret Hart in his corner...not sure if I'm fond of that, as Christian can get a good reaction on his own, and he doesn't necessarily need a mouthpiece or someone to back him up. I suppose it's just for the fact that Jack Swagger has Zeb Colter in his corner. Good back-and-forth action, and I'm glad that the very patriotic and racist Swagger has won the WWE United States Championship, just to prove his dominance over the United States. I hope to see Christian move up the card from here, personally. Alright, this match looks great. I'm hoping that Kurt Angle's star power has settled down a little bit, as it practically tarnished the rivalry between Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose for me. A great write-up, and a surprising victory for Bryan, but I'm not expecting their rivalry to be over just yet. I liked the cheap finish, anyhow. A rematch is imminent. Up next, another career vs title match for the WWE Divas Championship!? I like the route that Eve has taken, and can imagine that this will only end with Eve taking the fall and having to retire herself. A great match, but I was surprised to see AJ Lee fall here! I think that this could come back to haunt Eve, perhaps down the road to WrestleMania XXIX, but maybe even sooner. Very sentimental segment there. Hah, 3MB on pay-per-view. Filler promo here to calm down from the AJ Lee retirement angle, but a great interruption from Chris Jericho. I can't imagine a Heath Slater and Jericho feud being too great, but it could be a good thing for Slater to get the opportunity to grapple with Y2J...even though it should be Drew McIntyre facing Jericho, dammit! Up next, it's time to see if Cody Rhodes is worth being the World Heavyweight Champion. He's got quite a big list of opponents here, I am surprised to see Damien Sandow this high on the roster after only being on the main roster for a couple of months, but nonetheless, I can't see him having a big part of this match. A great, unexpected win for Cody, but we'll see if Rhodes has what it takes to handle a pay-per-view title defense in singles action...hopefully at Hell in a Cell next month. I liked the cheap exiting win for Cody from Sheamus, as his next rival is perhaps being ironed out here. Up next, Paul Heyman is managing Mark Henry!? Great to see Heyman building an army of monsters for Cena to face. I liked the references to Cena and Brock Lesnar's match at SummerSlam, and I am a fan of this being in between the two Scramble matches tonight. Very surprised to see Mark with the victory, but involvement from Lesnar explains this. Another beatdown angle that really should have been saved for RAW, but it got the point across. All of this in Cena's hometown, that's brutal. I expect retribution coming up at Survivor Series maybe. Or Hell in a Cell? Gah, Dean Ambrose challenging Antonio Cesaro for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in the death spot! In between of intense angles and main events, this won't do good for either man. Wow, and Ambrose takes the gold! Good to see, but this was a terrible position on the card for this to happen, as this crowd probably would have been restless from the previous intense moments on the card, and with the main event coming up next. Maybe a television victory would have been better suited. Finally, a Scramble match for the WWE Championship! I don't quite understand the point of having a No Disqualification stipulation set up for this matc, considering that a Scramble match is essentially no disqualifications anyway. Nonetheless, a very chaotic match, and...Brock Lesnar strikes again!? Another attack makes me question this, but I like the idea of CM Punk and John Cena potentially having to team up againt Brock Lesnar and Mark Henry in the future. I sense a Survivor Series elimination match being built from this, come to November. Good win for Ziggler, retaining his title as the chickensh*t heel he is. I can't help but feel that Ziggler was overshadowed by Lesnar here, though. Overall, a very good show; but far too busy. On one hand, it offered all of a supershow - a Big Four pay-per-view, per se. On the other hand, some of the key moments should have been saved for RAW or television. I believe that a pay-per-view shouldn't have too much storyline progressing angles, and more match emphasis/feud-ending focus. Another little thing, I feel like as World Champions, Rhodes and Ziggler are being incredibly overshadowed by CM Punk, John Cena, Brock Lesnar and other big names. Hopefully they're more balanced out in future. Keep it up, I'll be watching.

| WINTER PARK, FLORIDA - SEPTEMBER 19, 2012 |
- Prior to the start of tonight's show, a limousine was shown arriving in the parking lot area here at Full Sail University, The audience began jeering relentlessly as Divas Champion, Eve, exited from the vehicle. The commentary unit noted that AJ Lee was originally scheduled to be a part of tonight's show as part of NXT Homecoming. However, after what occurred this past Sunday at Night of Champions, that clear is not the case anymore. Instead, Eve will join us later on tonight to make AJ's appearance on behalf of her, and give a "proper sendoff" to the former Diva.
- Cutting to the Full Sail Arena, NXT General Manager Ricardo Rodriguez was shown in the ring, still with a neck brace due to SmackDown Superstar Damien Sandow's attack on him a number of weeks ago. In Ricardo's hands were the NXT Tag Team Championships, which were first introduced some time ago. Ricardo said that when he initially revealed the Tag Team Championships, he stated that he had yet to figure out exactly how the inaugural champions would be crowned. "However, due to recent events here on NXT, I've now figured exactly how the first ever NXT Tag Team Champions will be determined. With that being said, will Corey Graves and Jake Carter please come down to the ring at this time." The audience seemed surprised by Ricardo's invitation to the Filth Parade as the two of them made their entrance. Graves and Carter were all smiles, staring endlessly at the Tag Team Titles. Graves took a microphone, telling Ricardo that he knew it was only a matter of time before came to his senses. "Jake and I both knew that someday, you would realize what the rest of the world should know by now, and that is that the Filth Parade are the best tag team in the world today. There is simply no competition for us on NXT at the moment. And we know that if we weren't stuck on this show, then we would already be on the main WWE roster and Wrestling Royalty would have finally met their match." Graves then told Ricardo that since they're stuck performing for a bunch of worthless University students, then they're at least glad that the General Manager is kind of enough to make their stay worth while. "So if you don't mind, Ricardo, Corey and I are just going to take those NXT Tag Team Titles off of your hands for you," said Carter. As the two of them reached for the gold, Ricardo stepped back a bit. He told Graves and Carter that while they will have an opportunity to become the inaugural champions, he isn't just going to hand them the titles. If they want to write their name in the history books, then they're going to have to earn the honor of being the first champions. "So at this time, will Richie Steamboat and Bo Rotundo come on down to the ring," said Ricardo as the audience popped for the two young and energetic superstars. Richie and Bo make their entrance and stepped into the ring, confronting their rivals. The two teams stared off as Ricardo stated that he's been watching the four of them for the past few weeks and can see that there is still a score to settle. "And I know exactly how that score will be settled, because it will also make history. When NXT returns to iPPV in three weeks, it's going to be Corey Graves and Jake Carter versus Richie Steamboat and Bo Rotundo. And the winners of that match will have the honor of referring to themselves as the first ever NXT Tag Team Champions." Ricardo received a great ovation for his announcement as he left the ring with the NXT Tag Team Championships. Graves and Carter were livid with the announcement, while Richie and Bo were ecstatic. These two rivaling teams will have the chance at killing two birds with one stone in three weeks on iPPV. Overcome their arch-enemies, and become the inaugural NXT Tag Team Champions
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. NXT Champion Seth Rollins takes on JTG, tonight here on ION Television.
- PAIGE AND SKYLER MOON DEF. EMMA AND AUDREY MARIE: With the "Queen of NXT" Raquel Diaz and her mother, Vickie Guerrero, taking a vacation this week, Paige was left to release her frustrations along with Skyler Moon against the duo of Emma and Audrey Marie. And the "Anti Diva" did so, putting away Emma with RamPaige for the victory.
- The audience cheered for Paige as she stood to her feet, the official attempting to raise her arm in victory. Paige, however, shouted at the referee as he backed away. Skyler then attempted to give Paige a hug, but the "Anti Diva" responded with a knee to the gut, followed by RamPaige. Audrey, who was stirring to her feet, was also planted with RamPaige. Finally, Paige rolled Emma into the and delivered one to her as well. The Full Sail audience continued to applaud Paige as she stood tall over the three other Divas, sending a huge message to both Raquel Diaz and Vickie Guerrero.
- Backstage, Briley Pierce was shown standing by with JTG. The self proclaimed "Mr. NXT" entered the interview scene as Briley asked for his thoughts on his match tonight with NXT Champion, Seth Rollins. JTG stated that this is the opportunity that he's been waiting for for months. "Because everybody knows that the flyest man on God's green earth was supposed to win the NXT Championship tournament months ago. But unfortunately, things went a bit array at the time. And I would have entered the hunt for the title sooner if I didn't have a distraction known as Big E Langston. But, I haven't seen Big E all day, which means that my mind is clear and my skill are sharpened. And tonight, I'm going to show all the haters why JTG is Mr. NXT."
- Returning from the commercial break, Paige was shown walking down a corridor, having just destroyed the rest of the NXT Divas locker room moments ago. Renee Young caught up with the "Anti Diva," asking if she has any words following her attack on the other Divas. Paige said that the carnage in the ring is on the hands of Raquel Diaz and Vickie Guerrero. "The two of them ran away. They claim that they're on a vacation, spending some 'mother and daughter quality time.' But the fact is that they're afraid of me. And they'll do anything to keep their distance. But they can't run forever. Raquel, whenever you and your ignorant mum decide to finally face your fear, I'll be right here waiting. I'm not hard to find," said Paige before leaving the interview.
- KASSIUS OHNO DEF. EZEKIEL JACKSON: Three weeks before Kassius Ohno and William Regal finally collide on iPPV, Ohno found himself in action against Ezekiel Jackson, who was once a protege of Regal. Ohno glanced back at Regal several times throughout the match, but was able to stay focused as he caught Big Zeke with the Roaring Elbow to capture the victory.
- Ohno stood to his feet following the match as the audience expressed their displeasure for his victory. As he made his way up the entrance ramp, he approached the announce table to confront William Regal. Regal stood up from his chair, coming face to face with Ohno. The two exchanged a few words for Ohno teased leaving. However, he quickly turned back around and spat in Regal's face. Ohno made his way to the backstage area, Regal irritated by Ohno's ultimate show of disrespect. The man who was "Born Naughty" will have the chance to live up to his promise of teaching Ohno a thing or two about respect in three weeks on iPPV.
- Backstage, RAW Assisting Supervisor Summer Rae was shown in the locker room area, trying to get everything organized for Eve's farewell speech to AJ Lee later on tonight. Speaking of the Divas Champion, she soon walked into the room. Summer told Eve that while it's a shame that AJ couldn't be here tonight, the WWE Universe is certainly being treated to a far better substitute. Eve agreed with Summer, saying that she is feeling on top of the world at the moment, because in actuality, she is. "AJ is gone and finally out of life forever, and I am still the Divas Champion and am approaching six months as the champion. And there isn't anything or anyone who can ruin this moment for me," declared Eve.
- At this time, the RAW Rebound aired. The video package focused on the closing segment with CM Punk, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar. And as a result, the main event of Hell in a Cell in six weeks is now set. CM Punk and Brock Lesnar will do battle inside the WWE's most demonic structure, Hell in a Cell.
- Backstage, Briley Pierce was shown standing by with Adrian Neville. Briley asked for Neville's thoughts on NXT's newest star, Adam Cole, who has been acting incredibly odd since his debut, with his actions directed towards Neville. The "Man That Gravity Forgot" said that he has no idea what Cole's intentions are or why he consistently approaches him. "If this is Adam Cole's attempt at getting my attention, then he succeeded. Cole, if you want to step up to the plate, all you have to do is ask. Don't hesitate. I am undefeated on NXT, and I know you want to put a damp on that. So this is my challenge to you. Whenever you want, let your actions speak louder than your words," said Neville.
- NXT CHAMPION SETH ROLLINS DEF. JTG: A great contest to close out the action portion of NXT tonight. During the bout, No. 1 contender Trent Barreta made his way out to the stage with a ladder, setting it up and scaling it. Trent remained at the top of the ladder for the rest of the match as he observed the man he challenges for the NXT Championship in three weeks. The Full Sail audience directed chants of "We want Big E!" towards JTG, who became infuriated as the chants were back to haunt him. In the end, Rollins managed to hit JTG with the Blackout to get the victory.
- Seth Rollins was handed his NXT Championship as he raised it high in the air, celebrating his victory. As he was making his way up the entrance ramp, he approached the ladder that Trent Barreta was sitting atop of. Rollins stared up at the No. 1 contender while raising the gold high in the air, reminding Trent what it's all about come October 10th when they meet in NXT's first ever Ladder Match for the NXT Championship.
- Backstage, Divas Champion Eve was shown making her way down to the ring. She is set to make AJ Lee's NXT Homecoming appearance on her behalf, next!
- A promo was shown for Hell in a Cell, live Sunday October 28th, only on Pay-Per-View.
- Returning to NXT on ION Television, a graphic was shown for next week's edition of NXT Homecoming as Season 1 and 2 competitors, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil, will return to NXT. And considering the impact that they have made as of late, what will the Prime Time Players have in store for Full Sail University?
- In the ring, RAW Assisting Supervisor Summer Rae was shown in the ring, along with a portrait with a black covering over it. The Full Sail audience showered the former NXT Diva with boos as she introduced the "guest of honor." "Ladies and gentlemen, please stand and put your hands together for a woman who is an inspiration to all. The greatest female competitor in the history of sports entertainment, and your Divas Champion, Eve!" The boos continued as Eve made her way out to the stage, showing off her Divas Championship that she managed to retain this past Sunday at Night of Champions. She stepped into the ring and greeted Summer before the Assisting Supervisor exited to the backstage area. Eve said that as everyone should know, she wasn't originally scheduled to appear on NXT this evening. "AJ Lee was supposed to make her big return home. And in the eyes of some, she was going to make her triumphant return as the Divas Champion," said Eve. "But that is clearly not the case. You all do indeed have the Divas Champion here before you, but it's not AJ. It's still me, and it will always be me." Eve then said that while AJ isn't here tonight, and never will be, she felt the need to make this appearance on her behalf for the purpose of saying goodbye. "AJ deserves a proper sendoff, and myself and Summer Rae are here to give just that to her. So here is the final image of AJ that the WWE Universe will forever remember," said Eve. She then removed the black covering from the portrait to reveal an image of AJ crying from this past Sunday. The boos became even louder with the reveal of the portrait as Eve simply laughed at it. "Look at her. Miserable, weak, and forever a failure. AJ will have to live the rest of her life knowing that when her career depended on it, she failed. And that childhood dream of hers will remain a dream. But don't worry, everyone. I'm sure AJ has found her place in the unemployment line with Beth Phoenix," said Eve, reminding the world that she also retired the "Glamazon" back in June. "Nobody can take this championship from me. While I am killing careers, I will carry this title with me for the rest of mine. Because there isn't a Diva in the world who can beat me."
- The audience continued to boo Eve as she raised the Divas Championship high in the air. Suddenly, the entire mood of the arena changed as the theme of Paige hit. The Full Sail Arena erupted as she made her way down to the ring, Eve caught off guard by her arrival. Paige entered the ring and for the first time ever, an NXT Diva came face to face with the Divas Champion. Paige grabbed a microphone as she told Eve that she looks like she just saw a ghost. "And that's probably because you have. Because for months now, I have been the ghost in the mirror of the Divas division, waiting for my opportunity to break through the glass. And now, it looks like I've found my opportunity," said Paige. "Just now, you said that there isn't a Diva in the world who can beat you. And while that may be true, you've never met an Anti Diva before," she said to a huge pop from the audience. Eve remained silent for a bit before asking Paige who she thinks she is. "I am the Divas Champion. I've retired two other Divas, and all of a sudden, some nobody thinks they can challenge me?" asked Eve. Paige said that for a "nobody," she has quite the resume thus far. "I laid out three other NXT Divas in this ring earlier. I competed in the main event of this show and won. I made Raquel Diaz and Vickie Guerrero run away in fear. And I frightened your little best friend, Summer Rae, to the point where she went running to Brad Maddox, begging for a job on RAW just to get away from me. And most of all, I'm the one who has what it takes to stop you. AJ and Beth couldn't get it done, but I know I can. And you know it as well," said Paige. As the audience applauded Paige, Eve told her that first of all, nobody is afraid of her. And second, until she actually has a legitimate accomplishment, she sees no reason why a "nobody" deserves an opportunity against the "greatest female competitor" in sports entertainment in history. "If you're not afraid, then what's the issue. You said that a Diva can't beat you. So why not prove than an Anti Diva can't as well?" Paige asked again. The Full Sail audience chanted her name thunderously as Eve soon became fed up. She yelled at Paige, saying that she has done nothing to warrant a title shot, and isn't going to get one any time soon, if not ever. Eve then stormed out of the ring as Paige looked on at her, Summer Rae soon walking down the entrance ramp. She entered the ring, confronting Paige and asking what was wrong with her. "That is the WWE Divas Champion! Show her some damn respect!" shouted Summer, to which Paige responded to with a slap to her face. Paige then grabbed the humiliating portrait of AJ, waiting until Summer turned around before smashing it over her head! The portrait was wrapped around Summer as she fell to the canvas, the audience going wild for Paige. Eve watched from the stage, holding her Divas Championship with a tight grip, showing that she may indeed be a bit apprehensive. Paige stared at Eve, motioning for the title. Has Eve finally met her match? Is the solution to Eve's reign over the Divas Division the "Anti Diva"?

Great NXT episode but I really hope we get to see AJ back in a WWE ring, I really really do and I just hope and pray that Vince or Triple H brings her back personally by reinstating her resigning her to a contract but as for Paige being the answer to all of our prayers, let's just hope Paige saves us from this WWE Divas Championship reign of Eve's that I feel has gone on way too long in my opinion because it is time for change, it is time for a new revolution a new generation in the Divas division because Paige reminds me of a female CM Punk in the sense that you know how Punk was an anti-hero when he became a face, Paige is like an anti-diva who is a face and Eve's title reign her run as Divas Champion has never been in as serious jeopardy as it is right now that's for sure
Ohno getting into Regal's head, I love it beating a former protege of Regal's in Ezekiel Jackson, I think this is the first time anyone has seen Big Zeke in so long, now Big Zeke is reduced to being on NXT when he should be on either RAW or Smackdown in my opinion is just not a testament to Big Zeke at all
But as for Rollins beating JTG, now this was my favorite contest if anything

| SEPTEMBER 21, 2012 - PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA |
- Following the signature WWE intro, we were taken directly to the arena here in Philadelphia as SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was shown already in the ring. He asked how the WWE Universe was doing this evening, which garnered a nice pop for the General Manager. Teddy stated that Night of Champions has come and gone, and SmackDown's portion of the show was a great success. "Capped off by a great Championship Scramble main event, in which Cody Rhodes managed to retain the World Heavyweight Championship," said Teddy as the audience booed Rhodes' successful defense. He then said that no time will be wasted for Rhodes as tonight, his next challenger for the World Title will be determined. "In the Championship Scramble match this past Sunday, there were two men who were not pinned or submitted. And because of that, they will compete in tonight's main event. The Big Show will go one on one with the 'Celtic Warrior,' Sheamus! And the winner will go on to meet Cody Rhodes for the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell," stated Teddy as the Philadelphia crowd popped for the announcement. It appeared that the SmackDown General Manager was finished, until the theme of Daniel Bryan hit.
- Bryan made his way out to the stage, rampantly shouting "No!" as the WWE Universe chanted "Yes!". Bryan stepped, into the ring, shaking his head back and forth. "No...no....no! No, Teddy! No!" screamed Bryan. "I will not be overlooked, Teddy. Sure, Sheamus and the Big Show remained undefeated in the Championship Scramble, but they also didn't win that match. However, I did win my match. And I didn't just win, I shocked the world by defeating Kurt Angle, a feat that no one thought I was capable. I pinned one of the greatest professional wrestlers in the history of this business, and proved myself to be the greatest alive today. And as the greatest wrestler alive today, I feel that an opportunity to regain my World Heavyweight Championship is in order," said Bryan. Teddy Long told Bryan that while he did defeat Kurt Angle and while it was a great match, he tarnished his own victory with his tactics. "And because of that, I cannot place you in the No. 1 contenders match tonight." Bryan was furious, shouting "No!" at Teddy. The SmackDown General Manager then told Bryan that he will, however, give him a chance to redeem himself in the title hunt. "Tonight, you're going to go one on one with the 'Viper,' Randy Orton!" said Teddy as the audience erupted for that announcement. Bryan, while still furious, seemed a bit more content with that announcement. He said that seeing as how he just proved that he is the greatest wrestler alive today, defeating Orton will also give him the long-awaited retribution for his World Heavyweight Championship loss at Over The Limit earlier this year. Soon, the theme of Kurt Angle hit as the audience erupted. The Olympic Gold Medalist made his way down to the ring, looking a bit ashamed as Bryan smiled at him. Angle stepped into the ring as he confronted Bryan. "Go on, Angle. Say it. Say that I am the greatest wrestler alive today. Say that you don't have what it takes anymore to get the job done. And say that you couldn't beat me," said Bryan. Angle placed his microphone closer to him, but didn't speak. He seemed to be at a loss for words, which only further pleased Bryan. Soon, Angle dropped his microphone and kicked Bryan below the belt! Bryan dropped to the canvas in pain as Angle stared down at him, receiving a great ovation from the WWE Universe. Angle made his way up the entrance ramp, using no words to let Daniel Bryan know exactly how he feels about Bryan's victory at Night of Champions.
- Backstage, Alberto Del Rio and Damien Sandow were shown on a split-screen camera. The two bitter rivals will have another chance to do battle, next!
- Returning from the commercial break, a recap of the opening segment was shown as SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long delivered two huge announcements regarding tonight's show. In a rematch from Over The Limit back in May, Daniel Bryan will take on Randy Orton. And in our main event, the Big Show and Sheamus collide with a World Heavyweight Championship match at Hell in a Cell on the line.
- ALBERTO DEL RIO DEF. DAMIEN SANDOW: The rivalry between these two has been brewing for weeks now, ever since Damien Sandow's vicious attack on NXT General Manager Ricardo Rodriguez, Alberto Del Rio's former ring announcer. The two provided us with an excellent opening contest to what is sure to be a massive edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Towards the end of the bout, Sandow was looking to recreate the scenario from he and Del Rio's last encounter by removing the protective padding from the top turnbuckle. Sandow attempted to whip Del Rio into it, but the "Mexican Aristocrat" countered it and nearly sent Sandow's sternum into it. Sandow was able to stop himself, but Del Rio caught him with an Enziguri. He followed that up by locking in the Cross Armbreaker, Sandow soon submitting.
- Del Rio released the Cross Armbreaker as he stood to his feet, celebrating his victory. Two weeks after losing a World Heavyweight Championship match to Sandow, Del Rio has managed to extract revenge on the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses." And with revenge for Del Rio comes revenge for the man who Sandow brutally assaulted, Ricardo Rodriguez.
- Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was shown in his office when a knock was heard on the door, Naomi walking in. The former Funkasaurus greeted Teddy, who welcomed her to the SmackDown brand. He told Naomi that since she is here, she would be making her in-ring debut tonight. As Naomi thanked Teddy for the opportunity, Kaitlyn walked into the office. "This is truly ridiculous. First, the world buzzes about Paige and Eve's meeting on NXT. And now, you just waltz onto SmackDown? Why is it that the WWE is allowing 'no named' Divas to walk right through the doors and receive opportunities and recognition that should be mine You would think with AJ being forced to retire, I would be the next Diva in line to break through and get my rightful shot. But I guess that's now how things work," said Kaitlyn. Naomi responded by telling Kaitlyn that if she didn't fail to win the Divas Championship at SummerSlam, then she wouldn't have to be whining and moaning about not receiving an opportunity. The tension between the two Divas was clear, which is why Teddy stepped in between them and told Kaitlyn that if she wants to prove herself, then she'll have that opportunity against the debuting Naomi, later on tonight.
- Returning to Friday Night SmackDown, Matt Striker was shown backstage with one of the competitors on tonight's No. 1 contenders main event, Sheamus. The "Celtic Warrior" stepped into the interview set as Striker asked for his thoughts on going up against the Big Show tonight for the chance to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell. Sheamus said that tonight's match means the world to him. "After having to watch as the World Title slipped out of my hands at Night of Champions, I'm not going to put myself in a position where I'll have to go through that again tonight. Cody Rhodes may have escaped this past Sunday, but with me one on one in the ring, there won't be anywhere for him to run. I will defeat the Big Show tonight, and I will claim the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell."
- CHRIS JERICHO DEF. EVAN BOURNE: Another fantastic contest tonight on SmackDown as we witnessed Chris Jericho's return to the blue brand after a month-long tour with Fozzy. Towards the end of the bout, the trio of 3MB made their way out to the stage. Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal all watched as Bourne was in control of Jericho momentarily. As Bourne was attempting a Springboard maneuver, Jericho caught him with a Codebreaker in mid-air to capture the victory.
- The WWE Universe erupted for Jericho as he stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. 3MB, disappointed with Y2J's victory, made their way to the backstage area as Jericho grabbed a microphone. "3MB, I know that we still have a score to settle. And I look forward to the day when I can get my hands on all of you, especially your front-man, Heath Slater. But until then, I've got a proposal. Since you three rave about your presumed musical ability, then why not prove it to the world? Because right now, Fozzy is challenging 3MB to a Battle of the Bands next week!" said Jericho as the audience responded fairly for his challenge. Jericho made his way up the entrance ramp, the commentators discussing whether or not 3MB will accept Jericho's challenge for a "Battle of the Bands."
- A graphic was shown for the upcoming match between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan, next on SmackDown!
- A promo was shown for next Monday's edition of RAW. After becoming the No. 1 contender last week, Wade Barrett will finally receive the opportunity to regain what he never truly lost. The English Brawler challenges Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship. Plus, what will be the fallout after the announcement that CM Punk and Brock Lesnar will collide inside the WWE's most hellacious structure, Hell in a Cell? RAW, live next Monday on USA.
- RANDY ORTON DEF. DANIEL BRYAN VIA COUNT OUT: A rematch from Over The Limit back in May as the two former World Heavyweight Champions put on a stellar first hour main event. After Orton planted Bryan with a Scoop Slam on the outside, both superstars remained down for a bit. Orton was the first to his feet, rolling back into the ring. Bryan had the opportunity to re-enter the ring, but decided against it as he made his way up the entrance ramp, the official reaching the count of ten.
- Boos emerged from the Philadelphia audience as Orton stared a hole through Bryan. However, Bryan wasn't at all bothered by the fact that he intentionally got himself counted out. He may have regretted it soon, though, as Kurt Angle ran down to ringside. He grabbed Bryan, tossing him back into the ring. Once back in the ring, Bryan was immediately planted with an RKO! The "Viper stood tall as Angle entered the ring, the two faces locking eyes on one another. Orton soon left the ring, but still glanced back at Angle. Nonetheless, the Olympic Gold Medalist began stalking Bryan, perhaps looking for the Angle Slam. When Bryan was back on his feet, Angle delivered another low blow! For the second time tonight, Bryan dropped to the mat as Angle stood tall over him, getting a huge measure of revenge for his loss at Night of Champions this past Sunday. Angle then made his way up the entrance ramp as it was clear to the world that the rivalry between he and Daniel Bryan is far from over.
- Backstage, 3MB were shown walking down a corridor, still a bit upset that they weren't allowed the opportunity for revenge against Chris Jericho earlier tonight. The trio were soon met by SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long, who asked if they were aware of Chris Jericho's challenge for a "Battle of the Bands?" Slater said that they did hear about that, and quite frankly, aren't sure if they're interested. "3MB performs on our watch, not Chris Jericho's, Fozzy's, or anyone else's. We're not saying that we won't accept the challenge. We're just saying that it won't be next week," said Slater. Teddy said that he will make sure to inform Jericho of their counter-proposal. But with that being said, their night isn't over yet. "Oh, I get it. The General Manager wants an encore!" said Slater as the trio showed their over the top excitement. Teddy was able to quiet down the three of them, saying that he's not looking for an encore from all three of them, just one. "You three take some time to talk amongst yourselves. Because in a few minutes, one of you will go up against the new Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose."
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for next Wednesday's edition of NXT Homecoming, featuring the duo of the Prime Time Players. WWE NXT, next Wednesday on ION Television.
- INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION DEAN AMBROSE DEF. DREW MCINTYRE: It turned out to be Drew McIntyre who 3MB chose to compete tonight against the new Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose. The audience was red-hot for Ambrose all the way through, though he didn't pay attention to his response as he focused on the task at hand. As McIntyre was attempting to hit the Future Shock DDT, Ambrose was able to counter it and deliver an Overhead Slam. Before McIntyre could get to his feet, Ambrose caught him with a Knee Trembler to pick up the victory.
- Ambrose slowly stood to his feet after the bout, coming out on top in his first contest as the Intercontinental Champion. Suddenly, Antonio Cesaro made his way out to ringside through the audience, grabbing the Intercontinental Title gold. He quickly slid into the ring, leveling Ambrose in the side of the head with it. Cesaro grabbed the unresponsive Ambrose, delivering a Neutralizer in the center of the ring. The Philadelphia audience rampantly booed Cesaro as he raised the Intercontinental Championship gold high in the air, standing tall over the new champion, Dean Ambrose.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. The Big Show and Sheamus go one on one with the winner challenging Cody Rhodes for the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, Alberto Del Rio was shown in the locker room area when Scott Stanford approached him, asking for his thoughts on defeating Damien Sandow earlier in the evening. Del Rio said that his victory over Sandow is the sweetest that he's had in a while. "Because not only did I get revenge for myself, but also for a man who wasn't just my ring announcer, but also my best friend. Ricardo, I did this for you, amigo," said Del Rio. Suddenly, he was attacked from behind by Sandow. The "Intellectual Savior of the Masses" threw Del Rio into a wall before stomping on him repeatedly. Once finished, Sandow stood over the agonizing Del Rio, saying "You're welcome" before leaving the room.
- NAOMI DEF. KAITLYN: This was the in-ring debut of Naomi, a former Funkadactyl who had not been seen since Brodus Clay made his transition to the Children of Wyatt. Naomi was able to impress the WWE Universe, opening the eyes of everyone watching with her athletic ability. After Kaitlyn failed to hit a Spear, Naomi rolled her up to get the victory.
- Naomi rolled out of the ring as Kaitlyn remained sitting in the ring, her jaw wide open in shock. Naomi celebrated her victory for the rest of the audience members, scoring a huge victory over the "Hybrid Diva" in her debut match here on Friday Night SmackDown!
- Backstage, the Big Show was shown making his way down to the ring. He meets Sheamus for a World Heavyweight Title shot at Hell in a Cell, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for Hell in a Cell, live Sunday October 28th, only on Pay-Per-View.
- Returning to SmackDown, the theme of Cody Rhodes hit as the World Heavyweight Champion made his way out to the stage, showing off the gold that he retained this past Sunday at Night of Champions. Rhodes joined the commentary trio at the announce table, ready to find out who he will defend the World Title against at Hell in a Cell.
- NO. 1 CONTENDERS MATCH - SHEAMUS DEF. BIG SHOW: With a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship up for grabs, these two beasts were willing to do whatever it took to earn their opportunity. And they proved it in this fantastic main event by throwing everything at one another, resulting in a few near falls. After Sheamus kicked out of the Choke Slam, Show knew that if he wanted to finish off Sheamus, he needed to do it with his giant right hand. As Show was preparing for the Knockout Punch, Sheamus managed to dodge it and attempted a Running Shoulder Block. However, he missed Show and collided with the official. When Sheamus turned around, Show drilled him with the Knockout Punch. However, there was no official to make the count as Show had the cover. At that moment, Show decided to take advantage of the situation and grabbed a steel chair from ringside. He began stalking Sheamus with it, preparing to strike the "Celtic Warrior" with it. The audience soon erupted as Randy Orton ran down into the ring, dodging a chair shot from Show and planting him with an RKO! Orton slid out of the ring as Sheamus got to his feet, backing into a corner. He repeatedly beat his chest, the WWE Universe getting ready to explode as they could feel it coming. The dazed Big Show was soon back on his feet, only to be taken right back down with a Brogue Kick! Sheamus covered Show as the official slowly crawled towards them, making the three count.
- The Philadelphia audience erupted for Sheamus as the announcement was made that he is the new No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Cody Rhodes stood up from his seat at ringside, looking a bit annoyed at the result. A replay of the finishing sequence was shown as the commentators noted that Randy Orton did exactly what the Big Show did to him a number of weeks back - screw him out of the World Heavyweight Championship. The "Viper" and the "World's Largest Athlete" are now even, but the real story here is that Sheamus is the No. 1 contender for Cody Rhodes' World Heavyweight Championship, and they will meet for the gold at Hell in a Cell!

Smackdown Review
I really loved Smackdown but what I think I loved most about it was the fact that Angle kicked Bryan right below the belt after Bryan stole the victory in their match at Night of Champions, that pretty much makes this rivalry even more personal even more so now that the likelihood of these 2 going at it again in the near-future is a definite possibility, Angle vs Bryan II at Hell in a Cell
And it seems Cesaro wants his Intercontinental Championship back especially after attacking Ambrose the way he did, sending a message like that, just perfect
And Sheamus becoming the new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship beating The Big Show to earn the right to become the new #1 Contender and face Cody for the title at Hell in a Cell, will be a great match and it will go a very long way in determining whether or not Cody Rhodes deserves to even be World Heavyweight Champion
And 3MB vs Chris Jericho's band of Fozzy in Battle of the Bands, can't wait

Smackdown Review -A typical Teddy Long idea but at least it isn't a tag team match -So it seems Angle and Bryan aren't over yet but Bryan was right he does deserve a title shot. At World-heavyweight maybe not but IC yes -I think it's time Ricardo is done as GM of NXT and be back with Alberto but Sandow and Del Rio seem more of a team to me. -Naomi could be huge if used right. -Cheap Pop interview from Sheamus -3MB vs. Fozzy! ALL RIGHT BABAY!!! -Bryan is looked weak in this segment by walking out and then getting fooled by Angle -Not another low blow. He might not be able to have children - McIntyre and Ambrose would be a fairly good match in real life -Dean makes an awkward face. I think he and Bryan's role could be switched - You're Welcome -Piss Break. Go Kaitlyn -Rhodes vs Sheamus seems good

| SEPTEMBER 24, 2012 - ALBANY, NEW YORK |
- After the intro and pyrotechnics display, the commentary trio of Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler and John "Bradshaw" Layfield welcomed everyone to Monday Night RAW from Albany, New York! And tonight, Wade Barrett will finally receive the opportunity to reclaim what he never truly lost, and that is the WWE Championship as he challenges Dolph Ziggler for the gold. Plus, the undefeated monster Ryback will attempt to deliver another blow to the Brad Maddox Administration when he takes on The Miz. All than and more tonight on a monstrous edition of Monday Night RAW
- The WWE Universe blew the roof off of the arena as "Cult of Personality" hit, signaling the arrival of CM Punk. The "Best in the World" made his way out to the stage, giving his usual battle cry before marching down to the ring. A graphic was shown for the monumental bout that was made official last week here on RAW. At Hell in a Cell, Punk will step into the demonic structure with the "Next Big Thing" Brock Lesnar. Once in the ring, Punk grabbed a microphone as the audience continued to chant his name thunderously. He said that last week, he had one thing on his mind, and that was to call out Brock Lesnar and let him know exactly how he felt on what occurred at Night of Champions. "At this point, there aren't many things that I desire in my career. The only one that comes to mind is the WWE Championship, which was firmly in my grasp at Night of Champions. But that didn't happen, and it's all thanks to Brock Lesnar. So last week, I called out Lesnar with the intention of getting myself into a fight with one of the most feared individuals in the world today. And a fight is exactly what I got myself into, but I also got myself into something else - a structure known simply as Hell in a Cell," said Punk. He then said that while he is no stranger to the structure, he is a stranger to Lesnar. However, Lesnar is the exact same story. "I may not be physically comparable to a man like Brock Lesnar, but I know that he is not comparable in ability to me. You're a former champion in Mixed Martial Arts? Well guess what, Brock. This isn't MMA, and the Hell in a Cell isn't an octagon. This is professional wrestling, and this is a wrestling ring. And in this ring, I take charge. If you want to step into my world against the best that there is to offer, then you better be ready to go hell with a man who very well may be the Devil himself," said Punk.
- Soon, CM Punk was cut off by the theme of Brock Lesnar. Punk immediately dropped his microphone, prepared to engage in combat with Lesnar. However, that was not the case as Lesnar's agent, Paul Heyman, made his way down to the ring. Punk, who was clearly disappointed, scooped up his microphone as Heyman confronted him in the ring. Heyman told Punk that he doesn't believe that this is a real scenario. "Punk, I've watched you progress in this industry for years now, and I've always considered you to be one of the smartest guys that I know. However, I'm beginning to question your intelligence. Not only did you challenge my client, Brock Lesnar, to a fight, but you challenged him to a fight inside Hell in a Cell?" asked Heyman. He continued on, telling Punk that Brock feeds off of environments where the amount of pain that he inflict on another human being is un-measurable, and that's exactly what Hell in a Cell provides him with. "Did you not see what Brock did to John Cena? Did you not see the images posted on WWE.com of Cena lying in a hospital bed in excruciating pain with the realization that his career is very likely to be over? Do you want your fate to match Cena's?" asked Heyman. Punk responded to Heyman by telling him that he isn't John Cena. "I'm the 'Best in the World.' And that means that I'm better than Cena, and I'm even better than Brock Lesnar," said Punk. Heyman seemed a bit irritated as he told Punk that he's only trying to help him. "Because deep down, Punk, I still want to look out for you. I feel as if you're still my responsibility, and you probably should be. Because without my guidance, you're simply digging a grave for yourself in the middle of Atlanta on October 28th. A grave that will be shoveled out by my client, Brock Lesnar." Punk responded by telling Heyman that he didn't need his guidance to become WWE Champion in Chicago. He didn't need his guidance to change the perspective of many with one "Pipe Bomb" in Vegas, and he certainly doesn't need his guidance to slay the "Beast" at Hell in a Cell. Heyman told Punk that it's funny that he just mention that "Pipe Bomb" in Vegas, because if he recalls correctly, that was where he referred to himself as a "Paul Heyman Guy." "Listen to me, CM Punk. You may be a 'Paul Heyman Guy,' but you are not the 'Paul Heyman Guy.' That honor goes to Brock Lesnar. And you will realize that first hand when your flesh is grinding against steel and your bones are shattering against Brock's bare hands." Before Heyman left the ring, he told Punk that he spoke with RAW General Manager Brad Maddox, and they both agreed that they don't want Punk to accumulate "ring rust" from now until Hell in a Cell. So he has been given the privilege of choosing a hand-picked opponent for Punk. As Heyman was making his way up the entrance ramp, the theme of Jack Swagger hit. The United States Champion stepped out onto the stage with Zeb Colter as Punk removed his hoodie, getting ready to meet Swagger in our opening contest, next!
- CM PUNK DEF. UNITED STATES CHAMPION JACK SWAGGER W/ ZEB COLTER VIA DISQUALIFICATION: A great opening contest to Monday Night RAW as the United State Champion Jack Swagger was presented with the huge opportunity to pick up a victory over CM Punk on the road to Hell in a Cell. As Punk had Swagger in the Anaconda Vice, Zeb Colter pulled the official out of the ring, forcing the disqualification finish.
- Following the sound of the bell, Punk stared directly at Colter, infuriated that he got himself involved in the bout. As Punk shouted a few words at Colter, Swagger came up behind him and delivered a low blow. Punk fell to the mat in pain as Swagger took his United States Championship, he and Colter leaving up the entrance ramp. However, the nightmare was not over for Punk as Paul Heyman's other client, Mark Henry, made his way into the ring through the audience. Henry hoisted Punk up, dropping him with the World's Strongest Slam. Henry stood tall over Punk as Paul Heyman made his way out to the stage, all smiles as he is intent on making Punk rue the day that he agreed to meet Brock Lesnar inside the confines of Hell in a Cell.
- Backstage, Wade Barrett was shown in the locker room area preparing for his WWE Championship match against Dolph Ziggler later on tonight. Soon, RAW General Manager Brad Maddox walked into the room, telling Barrett that he was looking to be in great shape for tonight's title bout. "You've got a lot of nerve to stand in front of me after these last few months of hell that I've had to endure because of you. You realize that if I wanted to, I could bash your skull in with my fists, right?" asked Barrett as the audience popped for his threat. "Yeah, but then again, I am your boss and all. And if I wanted to, I could take away your championship match or your job or something of that nature," said Maddox. "But anyways, I am here to inform you of some breaking news straight from my office. I'm currently preparing my future Hall of Fame speech, and I got a great idea while doing so. Your match against Dolph Ziggler tonight for the WWE Championship will now be a No Disqualifications match," said Maddox. Barrett seemed a bit surprised, but pleased as well. "You just cost Dolph Ziggler the WWE Championship," said Barrett in response to the added stipulation.
- Cutting to another camera, a locker room with the name "Fandango" on it was shown. The commentary trio promoted the debut of Fandango, up next on RAW!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, United States Champion Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter were shown in the backstage area following Swagger's bout with CM Punk. Matt Striker caught up with the duo, asking if Swagger was disappointed with the fact that he failed to get the victory against Punk? "You have the audacity to ask a question like that? Did you see CM Punk pin Jack Swagger in that ring? Did you see CM Punk make Jack Swagger submit? Here's the answer for you in case you can't grasp the concept of reality. No, he didn't. As far as I'm concerned, Swagger is standing on his feet and CM Punk is barely walking on his. This is a victory for Jack Swagger, this is a victory for America, and this is a victory for we, the peopl-" said Colter before Swagger was suddenly attacked by the former United States Champion, Christian. "Captain Charisma" unloaded on Swagger as numerous officials arrived on the scene to separate the two, their rivalry far from over by the looks of it.
- FANDANGO VS. SANTINO MARELLA NEVER STARTED: During Fandango's entrance, he quickly asked for his music to be stopped. He then criticized Justin Roberts for incorrectly pronouncing his name, requesting that he attempt it again. After Roberts repeated his name, Fandango claimed that he was still wrong. He gave an example of how he wishes for his name to be pronounced, putting a ton of emphasis behind it. After Roberts' final attempt, Fandango stated that he was "utterly disgusted" by the amount of disrespect that he was being shown. "Until you can learn how to say my name correctly, Jeremiah, I'm afraid that myself and Santiago cannot have our match. And more importantly, the world will not be allowed to witness the debut of......Fandango!"
- Backstage, Ryback was shown preparing for his upcoming match with The Miz as the audience popped for the "Undefeated Monster." Suddenly, RAW General Manager Brad Maddox, along with a handful of security, approached Ryback. Maddox wished him luck for his match tonight, extending his hand out for a handshake. "I don't want to shake your hand. What I want to do is rip it from the rest of your body after you and your cronies robbed me of the WWE Championship at Night of Champions," said Ryback. "In fact, here's an idea. If you're so confident in The Miz's ability to snap my undefeated streak tonight, then prove it. If I beat Miz tonight, then next week, I get you one on one in the ring," said Ryback. To the surprise of many, Maddox accepted the challenge, claiming that he believes in The Miz. "Plus, this will make a great addition to my Hall of Fame speech someday. I can say 'Hey, everyone. Remember that time that Ryback thought he was going to get the better of me? Yeah, good times. Good times,'" said Maddox before leaving with his security. The commentators question the sanity of Maddox, referring to him as "insane" for accepting Ryback's challenge that could result in a match between the two of them next week should The Miz fail to defeat him.
- DIVAS CHAMPION EVE DEF. ALICIA FOX: Throughout the course of the bout, it was obvious that Eve was still a bit rattled after her confrontation with Paige last week on NXT, looking over her shoulders into the dark portions of the arena several times. Ultimately, the Divas Champion was able to remain focused well enough to put Alicia Fox away with the Neckbreaker to get the victory.
- Eve was handed back her Divas Championship following the match, raising it high in the air as she continues to ride her wave of momentum heading into fives months as the reigning champion. On the entrance ramp, Josh Mathews caught up with Eve and asked for her thoughts on any potential future challengers for her Divas Champion. Eve responded with the question of "What potential challengers?" The Divas Champion then claimed that she has defeated everyone that the WWE has to offer, and since there isn't an ounce of competition in the Divas division, she plans on just enjoying the next few years with the Divas Championship. "What about Paige?" asked Mathews. "What about Paige?! I said this already. She is a nobody and will never be anybody. Never even mention her name around me ever again, because she doesn't even deserve that!" shouted Eve before angrily storming up the ramp.
- A graphic was shown for the upcoming match between The Miz and Ryback. And as we learned earlier, if Ryback wins, then he will receive a one on one match with RAW General Manager Brad Maddox next week.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, Divas Champion Eve was shown in the backstage area along with the Assisting Supervisor, Summer Rae. Eve was still upset over her interview just now regarding NXT's Paige, telling Summer that the thought of the "Anti Diva" only sickens her. "You think you have it bad? I had to endure months of hell with Paige. I did everything I could to keep her out of NXT, and it pains me to say that I failed at that. Coming over to RAW, I thought that was it. I thought I would never have to see Paige ever again. But last week, I not only had to confront her, but she smashed a portrait over my head," said Summer. She then assured Eve that as long as she has power on RAW, Paige will never come anywhere near the Divas Championship.
- RYBACK DEF. THE MIZ: A great contest to round out the first hour, further escalating the rivalry between Ryback and the Brad Maddox Administration as a match with the RAW General Manager was riding on the line for the undefeated monster. It looked as if Miz had the victory after hitting the Skull Crushing Finale, but Ryback was somehow able to get a shoulder up. After Miz failed to connect with his Corner Clothesline, Ryback responded with a giant Meathook Clothesline. At that moment, Roman Reigns ran down to the ringside area, jumping onto the ring apron. Ryback didn't allow Reigns to get himself involved, grabbing Miz and throwing him into the Administration's bodyguard. With Miz still stunned, Ryback hoisted him up, planting him with Shell Shocked to get the victory.
- The Albany audience erupted as Ryback stood to his feet, celebrating as this victory has sealed for him exactly what he has been craving for weeks now. Next week, the "Undefeated Monster" will get Brad Maddox one on one in the ring! "Feed me Brad!" shouted Ryback as the WWE Universe joined him, the commentators stating that he very well may feast on the General Manager next week!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Following the commercial break, RAW General Manager Brad Maddox was shown in his office along with Summer Rae, who seemed by horrified by the fact that next week, Maddox must compete against Ryback. However, the General Manager didn't seemed phased at all. In fact, he seemed a bit pleased. "You know, this isn't actually half bad. Just think of this for my future Hall of Fame speech. 'Brad Maddox: The General Manager of RAW, the man whose team defeated Ric Flair's at SummerSlam, and the man who ended the undefeated streak of Ryback...." said Maddox as he seemed to be in a daydreaming phase.
- Returning to the arena, the theme of Wrestling Royalty hit as Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig made their way down to the ring, still without possession of their WWE Tag Team Championships. They wasted no time as Hennig grabbed a microphone, calling out the Prime Time Players. A few moments later, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil stepped out onto the stage, flaunting the Tag Team Titles that they stole two weeks ago. To avoid an altercation, the two of them remained on the stage, keeping their distance from Wrestling Royalty. Young said that they understand Hennig and DiBiase are a bit upset that they took the WWE Tag Team Championships from them, but they see this as a learning experience for the champions. "Pretty soon, you two ain't going to be WWE Tag Team Champions, so you my as well get used to living life without possession of the titles," said Titus. "And here's a learning experience for the two of you. In order to become champions, you need a title shot first. And at this moment, that's exactly what you two don't have possession of," said DiBiase. Young stated that Brad Maddox promised he and Titus a title opportunity, but that moment was when Hennig let out a rather surprising comment. "We don't give a damn what Brad Maddox says," said Hennig as the audience popped, the Prime Time Players being taken back a bit by the negative remark from two men who are known to be supporters of Maddox. "Maddox isn't the owner of the Tag Team Championships. We are, and our word is what matters, not his," said DiBiase. Hennig then informed the Prime Time Players of a proposal. "Next week, you two will take on myself and DiBiase in a non-title match. If you win, then you'll get the opportunity that you both have been clamoring. And if you lose, you're done. No title opportunity, no 'millions of dollars.' Just the taste of sweet victory for Wrestling Royalty." Young and O'Neil spoke amongst themselves for a bit before accepting the challenge, stating that sooner than later, the WWE Tag Team Championships will be theirs. "Sure, which reminds me. That match next week will only happen if you two clowns get your assess in this ring and hand over the WWE Tag Team Titles back to its rightful owners," said Hennig. Young and O'Neil made their way down to the ring, seemingly willing to return the gold. However, once in the ring, the Prime Time Players swung the titles at the heads of Wrestling Royalty. Hennig and DiBiase both dodged the shots, taking down Young and O'Neil afterwards. After a brawl, the Prime Time Players retreated as they slid out of the ring, hurrying up the entrance ramp. Hennig and DiBiase picked up the WWE Tag Team Championships off of the canvas, finally holding the titles after a two week drought. The WWE Universe actually responded positively to Wrestling Royalty as they raised the titles high in the air, sending a message to the Prime Time Players as they hope to place themselves in contention for the WWE Tag Team Championships, next week on RAW!
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Under No Disqualification rules, Dolph Ziggler will defend the WWE Championship against Wade Barrett, still to come on RAW!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, the theme of Bray Wyatt hit as he made his way out to the ring along with his Church, Tensai and Brodus Clay. Many questions have risen concerning the whereabouts of Kane after the trio kidnapped him a number of weeks back, and those question were about to be answered. "As you all know, my Church is currently inhabiting another lost soul. A soul that has been picked at and torn apart by everlasting traumatic memories. But there's no need to fear for Kane...haha....because next week, it all comes to an end. Every inch of disdain within Kane's mentality will be washed away when I baptize him in this ring and welcome him to my Church. If you don't believe in Bray Wyatt now, then I guarantee you will after next week. Follow my voice......follow our lead.....and I will guide you into the promise land....haha...tiiiiime is on my siiiide......and so is Kane..."
- THE CHURCH OF WYATT W/ BRAY WYATT DEF. ZACK RYDER AND KOFI KINGSTON: A fair tag team bout, though the momentum was clearly on the side of the Church of Wyatt after announcing their intentions to baptize Kane next week. Zack Ryder and Kofi Kingston didn't let that affect them as they remained in control towards the end of the bout. As Kofi was charging towards Tensai, he moved out of the way as Kofi accidentally collided with Ryder, knocking him off of the ring apron. Tensai then planted Kofi with a Choke Bomb, making the tag to Brodus Clay afterwards. Brodus finished off Kofi with a Running Splash for the win.
- Bray Wyatt joined Brodus Clay and Tensai in the ring following the match, raising the arms of his two "children" as they have picked up a very impressive win over the duo of Kofi Kingston and Zack Ryder. More tension seems to be arising among Kofi and Ryder, but the man story here is that the Church of Wyatt stand tall, one week before Bray Wyatt has vowed to baptize Kane and make him one of his "children."
- Backstage, Wade Barrett was shown making his way down a corridor. He meets Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship in a No Disqualifications match, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for Hell in a Cell, live Sunday October 28th, only on Pay-Per-View.
- NO DISQUALIFICATIONS MATCH WWE CHAMPIONSHIP - DOLPH ZIGGLER DEF. WADE BARRETT: A fantastic, Pay-Per-View quality championship bout to close things out here on RAW from Albany. As Barrett had Ziggler on his shoulders for Wasteland, the defending champion managed to slide off and catch Barrett with a Superkick. To the surprise of everyone, Barrett kicked out. Ziggler lost it at that point, arguing with the official as he believed that he had the three count. Taking advantage of the No Disqualification stipulation, Ziggler shoved the official. The official responded with a shove of his own, causing Ziggler to stumble as Barrett caught him with an elbow strike! Ziggler was motionless, but Barrett took a bit of time to get to his feet as well. The audience's excitement turned to boos as John Laurinaitis made his way down to the ring, a steel chair in hand as we have seen many times before. He stalked Barrett with the chair, waiting for his opportunity to strike. Laurinaitis swung that chair at the English Brawler's head, but failed to connect with the shot. When Laurinaitis turned around, Barrett delivered a Big Boot that sent the steel chair into his face! Laurinaitis was down and out as the audience went wild for Barrett. Suddenly, Ziggler snuck up behind Barrett and planted him with a Zig Zag onto the chair, covering him to get the victory.
- The audience booed relentlessly as Ziggler was handed back the WWE Championship, the "Show Off" raising it high in the air. Several highlights from the bout were shown, focusing on the conclusion with John Laurinaitis' involvement. Returning to the live feed, Ziggler assisted Laurinaitis up the ramp, still flaunting the gold. Once again, Laurinaitis has found a way to prevent Wade Barrett from reclaiming his spot at the top of the food chain, and Dolph Ziggler will be leaving Albany still as the WWE Champion.

Ziggler is still the WWE Champion but the question remains now is just who will Ziggler's opponent be at Hell In A Cell when he has to defend his WWE Championship considering he beat Barrett all be it with help from Big Johnny, I wonder if Barrett will get a rematch or if Ziggler will end up facing someone else entirely
And Punk's promo that he cut on Lesnar, I loved that a whole lot, The Best in the World vs The Beast Incarnate inside the Devil's Playground, both men have been in Hell In A Cell matches in the past, so they have experience inside the structure and not to mention both men are "Paul Heyman guys"
Ryback still undefeated in singles competition beating Miz, I wonder that now that he will face Brad Maddox, if his undefeated streak is in jeopardy? Because Maddox's Administration they could get involved
