I've neglected you bby. I'm sorry. Great opening segment with Edge trying to set dissension in God's Gifts. I always thought Edge should come back in a GM spot so kudos. Strong opening match, like the Orton heel turn. By the way, this Smackdown aired on my 23rd birthday. The backstage stuff was good, I love Cody's threat and final words. Interesting booking of the Divas division to have Kaitlyn beat Paige, but lose to AJ. Keeps everyone relatively strong. Awesome first hour main event and glad Cody Rhodes will be getting his rematch. Bryan as number one could lead to him winning actually. Whoa, Tyson Kidd surprises and I'm happy to see that. Hope he gets some mid card shine. The fossil/diamond stuff is awesome. Loved the whole promo and can't wait to see some "Explicit Ambrose Violence." Huge main event and an idea I would love to see. Glad that Dolph and Wrestling Royalty retained. Loved this show. The big shows just don't stop! Having Vince McMahon interrupt Bray Wyatt would totally be a holy crapmoment. Intrigued by the main event now. Shelton Benjamin and Jack Swagger would make for a great team, as would RVD and Kofi Kingston. Awesome opener, glad the Real Americans won. Hoping that they will be the ones to dethrone Wrestling Royalty. Love that there is history between CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler. Ryback continues to look dominant. Rusev? vs. Ryback? I'm okay with it. Interesting backstage stuff with God's Gifts and Orton. Champion vs. Champion matches always rule, especially with those two. Happy that Punk won and I still wonder how Barrett would do as a face in real life. A handicap match at the Rumble is different and adds intrigue for sure. Don't know if you're going with the real Hall of Fame class but Mick Foley is a good start regardless. Nice to see Mick and the thought of Mick Foley Appreciation Night. Another big show, you keep churning them out. I better see a Hardcore match. Derrick Bateman's segment was good, and I liked the call back to Maxine being a prostitute. Awesome eight man tag as it served for a great preview of the Royal Rumble. Whoa, John Cena vs. Roman Reigns is a big match, good to see it end in a DQ though and I love the rivalry between Seth Rollins and Cena. Okay, I didn't expect the huge tag team match to be made but I'm happy. Should be huge for the young guys. Paige winning was obvious and I will always love you for your booking of the divas division. The dumbell attack worked well in this situation. Derrick Batmen winning was for the best. A concussion makes the Divas Title match more interesting. Big time main event, expected Wyatt to win but a no contest makes sense. Triple H vs. Bray Wyatt in a No Holds Barred match sounds great. Jeez. Four huge shows in a row, Smackdown looks stacked and the Rock next week on Raw. Plus the huge Rumble card you have set up.

| January 16th, 2013 - Winter Park, FL Royal Rumble is live in two weeks on Pay Per View! |
Immediately following the signature WWE intro, cameras cut to the Full Sail Arena as the entrance music of Triple H hit to a massive ovation. The WWE COO made his way down to the ring, standing in the ring as the NXT Universe continued to go wild for him. Hunter said that the past couple of weeks, he has dealt with personal matters in this ring. Tonight, however, it's all about business. "For almost a year now, NXT has played a vital role in the WWE. Superstars such as Seth Rollins and Damien Sandow have all found their way to super stardom through NXT, as well as the current WWE Divas Champion, Paige," said Hunter. He also mentioned Big E Langston, who is set to make his SmackDown debut any day now. "Along with those, many others in the back are well on their way to achieving success in the WWE. The NXT Champion Kassius Ohno, the Women's Champion Emma, the Tag Team Champions Corey Graves and Jake Carter, Richie Steamboat, the list goes on and one of great, young talent in NXT. But the most important factor in their success is you, the NXT Universe who pack Full Sail University each and every week. To show our appreciation for you all, I am pleased to announce that on February 27th, NXT will hold its third iPPV on WWE.com free of charge!" The audience erupted at the announcement, though the reception died down as NXT Champion Kassius Ohno arrived. He stepped into the ring, coming face to face with "The Game." Ohno told Hunter that he couldn't care any less about the circumstances of the next iPPV. All he cares about is who will his next challenger be. "I decimated William Regal once again last week, so who are you planning on throwing at me next?" asked the reigning champion. Triple H said that he has no answer to that question at the moment, but we will all know before the end of the night. "In tonight's main event, four NXT superstars will compete for the right to challenge you, Ohno, on February 27th. It will be Adrian Neville versus Richie Steamboat versus Tyler Breeze versus the man who embarrassed you last week, Sami Zayn." The audience popped for the match reveal as Triple H attempted to leave the ring while Ohno went on a rant against the COO. "I retain my championship in NXT's biggest match last week, and this is my reward? You're forcing me to find out who my next opponent is at the same time as these people? Hunter, has Bray Wyatt gotten so far into your head that you can't even make any rational decisions?" asked the NXT Champion. The last remark caught the attention of "The Game" as he turned around. "You want me to make a rational decision? Here's one. You're dressed to compete, so that is exactly what you will be doing right now," said Hunter before leaving the ring as Ohno lashed out at him, claiming that he was not scheduled to compete this evening. "I am the NXT Champion and the future of your company, Hunter! Show me respect!" shouted Ohno as Triple H continued up the entrance ramp. A graphic was shown promoting an appearance from William Regal, who was forced to utter the words, "I quit" last week. What will Regal have to say when he addresses the NXT Universe? NON TITLE MATCH NXT CHAMPION KASSIUS OHNO DEF. ALEX RILEYAfter Kassius Ohno's comments toward Triple H moments ago, the COO forced the NXT Champion to compete here tonight. Alex Riley, who had been out for a while due to injury, looked better than ever against perhaps the most dangerous man in NXT today. As Riley was looking to deliver an Impaler DDT, Ohno was able to keep a grip on the ropes. He tossed Riley to the outside with an overhead slam, but A-Ry landed on his feet and quickly rolled back into the ring. Upon doing so, Ohno caught him with a Roaring Elbow to grab the victory. The NXT Universe booed as Kassius Ohno stood to his feet before retrieving the NXT Championship from ringside. He made his way up the entrance ramp, being forced to wait until the end of the broadcast to find out who his challenger for the NXT Championship will be on February 27th. Backstage, Emma was shown making her way down a corridor. The first ever NXT Women's Champion is in action, next!
Returning to NXT on ION Television, a recap of the opening segment was shown. WWE COO Triple H announced that on February 27th, NXT will hold its third iPPV on WWE.com, free of charge to the NXT Universe this time. In tonight's main event, the #1 contender for the NXT Championship at that event will be determined in a Fatal Four Way match. NON TITLE MATCH NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPION EMMA DEF. AKSANAThe NXT Universe erupted for the arrival of Emma as the first ever NXT Women's Champion sported the title around her waist, performing her signature dance on her way to the ring. Aksana was looking to gain momentum and spoil the celebration for the inaugural champion, but Emma brought her intentions to a halt when she applied the Emma Lock, forcing Aksana to submit. Emma stood to her feet as she was handed back the NXT Women's Championship, holding it up with one arm while doing the "Emmalution of Dance" as Byron Saxton coined it. Cameras cut to the backstage area, where Raquel Diaz and Vickie Guerrero were shown watching a TV monitor in disgust. Emma continued to celebrate her victory with the audience in Full Sail University, on top of the world as the NXT Women's Champion. Backstage, Devin Taylor was standing by with Alex Riley. She asked A-Ry for his thoughts after making an unsuccessful return to NXT. Riley, whose tone was a bit more aggressive than usual, said that it wasn't just tonight that was a disappointment. It's been the past year and a half of his career. "I was NXT before this place existed. I helped The Miz get to the main event of WrestleMania, even though he won't admit that. I made a name for myself, and then it all came crashing down. Even here on NXT, things have ended in disappointment. I made it to the finals of the NXT Championship tournament just to lose to Damien Sandow. Had a chance to win the Elimination Chase, but nope. Still failed. And now, in my opportunity to make an impact in my return, I lost to Kassius Ohno. Something has to change around here, and it has to happen quickly," said Riley before leaving the interview.
A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. On what has been labeled as "Mick Foley Appreciation Night," WWE Champion CM Punk teams with Cody Rhodes to take on Wade Barrett and the World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler. Plus, the United States Champion Rob Van Dam does battle with the Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose. All that and more on SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy. XAVIER WOODS DEF. TRENT BARRETANeither Xavier Woods or Trent Barreta have been able to get on track as of late, so a victory here would pay dividends for one of them. As Barreta was attempting to deliver a Superplex from the top rope, Woods managed to counter it and plant him with a Sunset Flip. As Barreta stirred to his feet, Woods took him down with the Lost in the Woods Facebreaker to grab the victory. The Full Sail audience popped for Xavier Woods as he stood to his feet, celebrating a huge victory over Trent Barreta. Woods picks up a bit of steam here tonight, making a case as to why he should be in the running for an opportunity at the NXT Championship. At this time, footage that was sent to the NXT production crew was shown. In the video, we saw Bo Rotundo sitting on his car with a Mickey Mouse hat on. He apologized to the NXT Universe for not being there last week. "I know that all of my Bolievers were disappointed by my absence. I just want to say that I am deeply, deeply sorry to them......oh, and to Richie Steamboat as well. But I'm sure he did great anyways!" said the enthusiastic Bo. He explained that he was not present at last week's show as he embarked on a 'journey.' "It was incredible! First, I traveled to Bolivia and delivered water guns to starving children! Then, I brought most of those kids to Disney World! It was so much fun, but not more fun than being there with the NXT Universe! But have no worry, Bolievers. I will make my much anticipated return next week! So until then, I have this message for you all. Don't stop Bolieving!" he said before the footage faded out. Returning to the broadcast, Richie Steamboat was shown in the locker room area, watching a TV monitor in disbelief. "You gotta be kidding me," he said before resuming his preparation for tonight's #1 contenders Fatal Four Way match.
Returning to NXT on ION Television, Eden Stiles introduced William Regal, who received a huge ovation from the NXT Universe. Regal made his way down to the ring, sporting a bandage on his forehead as a result of his I Quit match with Kassius Ohno last week. Regal began speaking by saying that last week, he engaged in one of the most brutal matches of his career. "At the same time, it was one of the most humiliating of my career. Never before had I been beaten and battered to the point where I felt the need to give in and tell another man that I couldn't handle the punishment anymore. Kassius Ohno, despite how I may personally feel about him, deserves all of the praise in the world," said Regal as the audience did not seem to agree with him on that point. He then said that if last week was meant to be the final match of his career, then so be it. "It is not how I would have liked to the close the book, but there was certain things that I cannot fight. Kassius Ohno was the better man last week, and I am here to congratulate him," said Regal. Suddenly, a man began to walk down to the ring, catching Regal's attention. The commentary unit identified the man as Kenneth Cameron. "Can I help you with something," asked Regal. "Yes, you could help. In fact, you could help all of the UK by just stopping right now," said Cameron. When Regal asked what he meant, Cameron said that Regal has done nothing but bring shame to his country. "England has always been proud of you, mate. The people there treated you like a God, and how do you repay them? By making a mocker of all Brits and saying 'I Quit' on live television? And now, you're praising the man who beat you to a pulp? What the bloody hell is wrong with you?" asked Cameron. When Regal tried to speak, Cameron delivered a slap across his face. Regal held the side of his face as he looked away from Cameron. "Are you even going to do anything? Are you going to look at me, Regal? Are you going to fight back? What are you going to do?!" shouted the enraged Cameron. Regal took a while to respond, making Cameron believe that he wouldn't. "I didn't want to believe it. You're nothing more than an embarrassment now," said Kenneth Cameron before leaving the ring to a chorus of boos. A graphic was shown for the #1 contenders Fatal Four Way match, coming up next on NXT!
A promo was shown for the Royal Rumble, live Sunday January 27th on Pay Per View! #1 CONTENDERS MATCH SAMI ZAYN DEF. ADRIAN NEVILLE, RICHIE STEAMBOAT AND TYLER BREEZEA fantastic match to close out tonight's edition of NXT. Mid-way through the bout, NXT Champion Kassius Ohno made his way out to the stage to get a closer look. In one of the bigger spots of the match, Adrian Neville and Tyler Breeze were brawling on the outside of the ring when Richie Steamboat delivered a Superplex to Sami Zayn onto them! All four men were down on the floor as the crowd roared with chants of, "NXT!" Steamboat rolled Zayn into the ring, only managing to get a two count. As Steamboat was heading to the top rope, Breeze got to his feet and pushed him off. Breeze entered the ring and waited for Zayn to get up, but Neville came up behind him and applied a Headlock. Breeze backed Neville into a corner, but the hold was still in. At that moment, Zayn charged towards Neville and Breeze, catching the both of them with a Yakuza Kick! Zayn pulled Breeze into the center of the ring, covering him for the victory. The crowd jumped to its feet as Sami Zayn was declared the winner. After an incredible contest between four of NXT's best, Zayn managed to come out on top. He locked eyes with the NXT Champion Kassius Ohno, who raised the title in the air. On February 27th, Ohno puts the gold on the line against Zayn!

Really enjoyable show Ryan. Opening with Ohno set up the Main Event well initially thought you would go with Neville but then remembered what happened with Zayn last week so then it became a no brainer...
Good win for Ohno interesting to see where you to Riley from here especially after his promo later in the night. Riley is very underrated in my opinion.
Woods/Barretta and the Divas match came across as filler to me but the middle of the show was saved by Regal and Cameron. I like Cameron you wrote Regal well. Good segment.
Zayn won which was predictable but there is nothing wrong with predictable and they have the opportunity to have a classic. Enjoyed the main aspects of the show. You are on a roll at the minute mukka!

I like some interaction between Triple H and Kassius Ohno and the fact that Ohno brought up Wyatt. It kills me that sometimes Triple H heels out all week except when he appears on NXT in real life. Ohno beating Alex Riley was clear. Also, looking forward to the next iPPV. I enjoy Emma as Champion and glad she won. Love what you've done with Raquel Diaz. Interested in whatever change you have planned for Alex Riley. Always kind of liked him. Good match as I'm a fan of both Xavier Woods and Trent Barreta. Awesome Bo Dallas segment. Regal putting over Ohno was for the best, interesting to bring in Kenneth Cameron like this. Though seeing his name as just Cameron made me think of the Funkadactyl, unfortunately. Main event would have been awesome, and Sami Zayn winning is tremendous. Zayn/Ohno is a match that I saw live when it was Hero/Generico so I know it will be good. Another good episode of NXT.

Triple H and Kassius Ohno's interaction with each other, Kassius Ohno reminds me a lot of a young 2000s Triple H especially with him being the WWE NXT Champion and then Ohno bringing up Bray Wyatt I would have thought that Triple H would have attacked Ohno right there
Ohno the WWE NXT Champion beating Alex Riley, it was clear that he would
Emma as WWE NXT Divas Champion, I don't expect her to last long as champion because it is just a matter of time before she loses the belt
Another sign of Bo Dallas turning heel and I for one love that Bo is becoming heel
Kenneth Cameron and Regal, could that be a sign of a passing of the torch? Cameron being a heel Brit much like how Regal was in his heyday I wonder if Regal will soon turn heel again and align himself with Cameron becoming his manager much like how Flair became Triple H's manager?
And Zayn becoming the new #1 Contender, Zayn/Ohno is a match I am definitely looking forward to

| January 18th, 2013 - San Antonio, TX Royal Rumble is live in nine days on Pay Per View |
Following the signature WWE intro, video footage from earlier in the evening was shown as John Bradshaw Layfield attempted to enter the arena. Security denied him access as he shouted at them, saying that he has enough money to buy them out. The new SmackDown General Manager, Edge, then excused the two security officers before informing JBL of a bit of news. "I thought that maybe someone in God's Gifts would have told you, but I guess not. You have the night off," said Edge. "What the hell do you mean that I have the night off? The Royal Rumble is right around the corner! I need to be in there, making sure that Rhodes, Del Rio, Sandow and Cesaro are all ready to go!" shouted the irate Layfield. "And you can do that next week, but tonight, you won't be here," said Edge before asking several other security officers to escort JBL from the premises.
Speaking of Edge, hewas shown in the ring when the cameras cut to the feed in the arena. The "Rated R Superstar" welcomed everyone to tonight's show, which has been labeled as "Mick Foley Appreciation Night." He then said that he wouldn't continue to waste any time. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the first inductee into the 2013 Hall of Fame, Mick Foley!" The crowd erupted as Foley made his way down to the ring, greeting Edge once in. As the chants of "Foley" simmered down, the soon-to-be Hall of Famer thanked Edge and the WWE as a whole for allowing him this appreciation night. "This is truly going to be a huge night for the WWE Universe. I'm not sure if I'm spoiling a surprise or anything, but I saw someone in the backstage area who I think you're all going to be happy to see later tonight. Let's just say he's a very 'electrifying' friend of mine," said Foley as the audience erupted. He then turned his attention to Edge, congratulating him on becoming the new General Manager of SmackDown. "When I look back on my career, Edge, I have to remember the time that you and I tore each other apart at WrestleMania in Chicago seven years ago," said Foley as Edge smiled. The "Rated R Superstar" said that he remembers that night very well. "Mostly because I often look back and ask myself, 'What on earth was I thinking when I dove head-first into a table that was lit on fire?" stated Edge. He and Foley shared a laugh before the General Manager said that on a serious note, it is great to be able to have him here on SmackDown tonight, and it will be even better to sit in the audience the night before WrestleMania XXIX and watch Foley join him in the Hall of Fame. "We don't want to take up too much time....." said Edge before he was interrupted by the arrival of a member of God's Gifts, Alberto Del Rio. The "Mexican Aristocrat" walked down to the ring and said that this is a complete shame. "You two time old-timers are taking up valuable time on SmackDown that could do someone more deserving, such as myself. While I'm on that note, I have to ask why I am not scheduled to compete tonight?" asked Del Rio. He then told Edge that he actually knows why. "It's because I am the man who was responsible for your retirement, Edge. I put your body into such a fragile state, and you're trying to get back at me. You're trying to punish all of God's Gifts for that matter. Well, that's fine, because you won't be able to hold us down when one of us wins the Royal Rumble next Sunday," said Del Rio. Edge then told Del Rio that his retirement isn't the subject of anything. "Yes, you were my final opponent. Yes, I was examined afterwards and it was determined that retirement was necessary, but I don't have any sort of grudge against you, Alberto, or anyone in God's Gifts for that matter. Plus, who said that you weren't competing tonight?" asked Edge. He then told Del Rio that he will be in action right now against the man who God's Gifts is going through any and all lengths to make sure that he falls flat on his face, Daniel Bryan! The audience erupted into "Yes!" chants as Bryan's entrance music hit. He made his way down to the ring, pumping his index fingers into the air with the WWE Universe. Edge and Mick Foley even engaged in the chant as they headed up the entrance ramp. Del Rio threw his scarf to the outside, getting ready to compete against Bryan in our opening contest.
DANIEL BRYAN DEF. ALBERTO DEL RIO A fine way to kick things off on "Mick Foley Appreciation Night" here on SmackDown. Daniel Bryan, who will be entering the Royal Rumble as the number on entrant, was looking to send a message to God's Gifts and everyone else in the Rumble match in nine nights. As Bryan was ascending to the top rope, Del Rio stood to his feet and attempted to deliver an Enziguri. Bryan was able to dodge it before leaping off with a Missile Dropkick. He then backed into a corner, preparing to strike with the Busaiku Knee. Bryan successfully hit Del Rio with it, covering him to get the victory
The crowd roared as Daniel Bryan stood to his feet, picking up a huge victory over one-fifth of God's Gifts. Bryan and the audience in San Antonio shouted "Yes!" as he looks to prove to the world that even as the number one entrant, he is more than capable of going the distance and winning the Royal Rumble match.
Backstage, God's Gifts were shown in the locker room area, watching a TV monitor in disappointment at Alberto Del Rio's failure to defeat Daniel Bryan. The door could then be heard opening as the WWE Champion CM Punk walked into the room. Rhodes stood up, asking Punk what he wanted. "That's not really the way to treat the man who will be teaming up with tonight, now is it?" stated Punk. He told Rhodes that he is simply here to make sure that they are on the same page heading into tonight's match. "After all, why wouldn't we be? I'm the 'Best in the World,' and you believe that you are that as well," said Punk. "No, I don't believe that I am the best. I know I am," said Rhodes. Punk then jokingly looked around the room. "If you're the best, Cody, then where's the gold to prove it? Oh, that's right. You lost it," said Punk as Sandow and Cesaro kept Rhodes from taking any action. "Just follow my lead tonight, and you'll do just fine, kid," said Punk he left the room.
Returning to SmackDown, the entrance theme of Tyson Kidd hit as he and Justin Gabriel made their way out to the stage to a great reception. Kidd has been picking up a lot of momentum as of late, and he and Gabriel were set to compete in tag team action. At least, they were until the Big Show attacked them from behind. Show, who was defeated by Kidd last week, tossed him into the barricade before delivering a Knife-Edge Chop. Gabriel tried to intervene for his partner, but received a beating as well. With Kidd down and out, Big Show grabbed Gabriel by his neck and tossed him back-first onto the steel ramp. Gabriel tried to crawl away, but Show continued to follow him up to the stage. Tyson Kidd attacked Big Show from behind, going after his knees. Show, however, managed to fight off Kidd and deliver a Knockout Punch. Gabriel, who was still crawling away, found himself in even more trouble as Show cornered him at the edge of the ramp. Show picked Gabriel up off of his feet, grasping his neck and delivering a Chokeslam off of the stage! Gabriel crashed through a set of tables and equipment as Show stared down at him with his cold eyes. The "World's Largest Athlete" left to the backstage area as several officials tended to Gabriel, a stretcher soon being carted out for him. A replay of the Chokeslam was shown several times before returning to the feed. Tyson Kidd remained laid out on the stage as a neck brace was placed on Gabriel before being carted away. The Big Show got his revenge for Kidd's victory last week, but he may have taken things too far, specifically with his assault on Justin Gabriel.
Following the commercial break, a recap of the previous segment was shown as Big Show went on a rampage against Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel, Chokeslamming the latter off of the stage. Michael Cole and the rest of the commentary unit said that if an update on Gabriel's condition is available before the end of the broadcast, they would report it. However, they do know that during the commercial break, Tyson Kidd went to the office of General Manager, Edge, and demanded a No Disqualifications match against the Big Show. Edge has granted Kidd his request for next week. CHAMPION VS. CHAMPION INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION DEAN AMBROSE DEF. UNITED STATES CHAMPION ROB VAN DAMThis past Monday on RAW, the WWE and World Heavyweight Champion collided. This time, it was the battle of the Intercontinental and United States Champions. With both Dean Ambrose and Rob Van Dam heading into the Royal Rumble match in nine nights, a victory here would give one of them a ton of momentum. As Van Dam was coming down with the Five Star Frog Splash, Ambrose managed to get his knees up in time. Van Dam held his ribs as he attempted to get to his feet, but was instantly hit with a Knee Trembler, giving Ambrose the victory. Dean Ambrose was handed back the Intercontinental Championship as he rolled out of the ring, not caring much for the audience's dismay. "Diamond in the rough!" shouted Ambrose as he headed up the entrance ramp, hoping to become the first Intercontinental Champion to claim victory in the Royal Rumble match. Backstage, Mick Foley was shown speaking to a few staff members, all of them congratulating him on his Hall of Fame induction. After thanking them, Foley began walking down a corridor until he came to a stop, a huge smile lighting up his face. The camera then showed The Rock enter the picture as the audience went ballistic. Foley and Rock hugged before the "Great One" said that he wouldn't miss this night for anything. "Tell you what. The Rock's got plenty of great Mick Foley stories to entertain the WWE Universe with, but right now, it's time for him to get down to business," he said before leaving. It looks like The Rock will be joining us next on SmackDown!
A promo was shown for next Monday's edition of RAW. Six days before the Royal Rumble, The Rock will compete in first televised match in over a decade when he teams up with John Cena to take on Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. RAW, live next Monday on USA. "If ya smell....." rang throughout the arena as the WWE Universe came unglued. Seconds later, The Rock made his way out to the stage, making his first appearance on SmackDown since returning to the WWE two years ago. Rock stepped into the ring, looking back at the crowd as they chanted, "Rocky!" thunderously. "Finally, The Rock has come back to SmackDown!" he said to a great response. Rock said that for the past two years, he has had to deal with business over on RAW, so it is great to be able to put that to the side for just one moment and be able to be here on SmackDown, the house that he built. "Did the people really believe that The Rock would miss this night? It's Mick Foley Appreciation Night! Honestly, it took The Rock a hell of a lot longer than most people to come to appreciate that crazy son of a gun," he said. Rock then shifted gears a bit, talking about the superstars of SmackDown today. "The Rock sees a lot of young, hungry talent in the back. Guys like Cody Rhodes, Sheamus, Wrestling Royalty, the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler. The Rock will you straight up that he has never seen so much talent all at once," he said. "But, The Rock feels like he forgot someone...." he said before the crowd started chanting Daniel Bryan's name. "That cat with the beard who comes out here and chants, 'Yes! Yes! Yes!'" said Rock before the crowd continued the chant for him. "No disrespect to people like Bryan and Sheamus and God's Gifts, but The Rock's agenda at the moment is short and sweet - win the Royal Rumble match. The Rock has a lot of respect for the current wave of WWE superstars, but he wants to headline WrestleMania just as much as any of them, and hell, maybe even more. The Rock is going to step into this ring at whatever number he draws, take all those twenty-nine other guys, go down 'Know Your Role Boulevard, hang that right at Jabroni Drive, and proceed to check all of their candy asses into the Smackdown Hotel!" said The Rock as audience popped once again. The reception soon turned from cheers to jeers as The Rock was interrupted by Randy Orton. The "Viper" marched down to the ring as he came face to face with The Rock. "Rock, I'm sure you know why I'm here," said Orton as Rock stared at him for a bit. "Well, looking at you for just a few seconds, The Rock would assume that you're here to try and sell him some baby oil." The audience got a laugh out of The Rock's comment before Orton continued to speak. He said that the reason he is out here is to stop The Rock from spreading lies to the WWE Universe. "Do you people honestly believe that The Rock is going to win the Royal Rumble?" asked Orton as the crowd chanted, "Yes!" "Well, you know what I think-" "It doesn't matter what you think!" said The Rock as he cut off Orton mid-sentence. The enraged Orton continued on, saying that he thinks that Rock doesn't have what it takes to win the Royal Rumble. "You lost to John Cena at WrestleMania. You lost to CM Punk at Survivor Series. Why the hell should anyone believe that you can win the Royal Rumble?" asked Orton. The Rock then told him that he is absolutely correct when he says that some people don't believe in his chances at winning the Royal Rumble. "There is a word for those people. It used to be just 'John Cena fans,' but The Rock thinks that we can throw 'and Randy Orton' somewhere in there," said Rock. "But hey, Randy. Just look on the bright side. No, seriously. Turn around and you'll be looking at the bright side," said Rock. The puzzled Orton turned around and was met with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus! The audience popped huge for Sheamus' arrival as he stared down at Orton before turning his attention to The Rock. Sheamus and the "Great One" stared face to face for a bit before Rock left the ring. Rock and Sheamus continued to lock eyes, the two knowing that they could meet again in the Royal Rumble match. NON-TITLE MATCH ANTONIO CESARO AND DAMIEN SANDOW DEF. WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS WRESTLING ROYALTYAfter failing to capture the WWE Tag Team Championships last week in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs, this was perhaps Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow's final opportunity to prove that they are worthy of another title shot. On the outside, a brawl broke out between Joe Hennig and Sandow, catching the official's attention as he tried to restore order. Cesaro capitalized on the distraction, striking Ted DiBiase with one of the Tag Team Championships. He then covered DiBiase before shouting for the official to turn around and make the three count. Boos emerged from the San Antonio audience as Antonio Cesaro rolled out of the ring, Joe Hennig looking on in disbelief at ringside. Cesaro assisted Damien Sandow up to his feet as the two headed up the entrance ramp, just defeating the WWE Tag Team Champions on day 290 of Wrestling Royalty's reign. Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler was shown in the locker room area, preparing for tonight's main event. Soon, Wade Barrett entered the room. He and Ziggler stared at each other for a bit before the World Champion broke the silence. "I'm not going to pretend that we don't have history, Wade. You took the WWE Championship from me, and now, it's in the hands of CM Punk. You focus on him tonight, and I'll take care of Cody," said Ziggler. Barrett told him that he doesn't take orders too kindly from others, which is why he'll be the one giving the commands. "I got Punk, and you got Rhodes," said Barrett before leaving the room. "That's....that's what I just said," stated Ziggler to himself.
Returning to SmackDown, AJ Lee was shown already in the ring as Kaitlyn made her entrance next. During that, a highlight from this past Monday was shown when Kaitlyn attacked Paige with a dumbbell that was taken from the Divas Champion's family-owned training facility in Norwich. Michael Cole gave an update on the condition of Paige, saying that her concussion proved not to be as serious as initially believed. Paige will be cleared to compete at the Royal Rumble and put her title on the line against Kaitlyn. KAITLYN DEF. AJ LEELast week, AJ Lee managed to defeat Kaitlyn after a distraction from the Divas Champion, Paige. With the "Anti Diva" out of the picture this evening, the #1 contender was looking to get her victory back before her title match next Sunday at the Royal Rumble. As AJ was attempting to apply the Black Widow, Kaitlyn was able to counter it and deliver a Side Walk slam. AJ slowly stood to her feet, only to be taken with a Spear, Kaitlyn getting the cover and the victory. Kaitlyn stood to her feet as she stared down at AJ Lee, raising her arms in victory. The commentary unit noted that with Kaitlyn looking as dominant as ever, and the fact that Paige cannot be 100% heading into the Royal Rumble, the crowning of a new Divas Champion could be imminent. A graphic was shown for the upcoming tag team main event. World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler teams with Wade Barrett to take on Cody Rhodes and the WWE Champion, CM Punk. That match is up next on SmackDown!
A promo was shown for the Royal Rumble, live Sunday January 27th, only on Pay Per View. Returning to SmackDown, a graphic was shown to announce that due to their victory earlier tonight, Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow will challenge Wrestling Royalty for the WWE Tag Team Championships on the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show! WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DOLPH ZIGGLER AND WADE BARRETT DEF. WWE CHAMPION CM PUNK AND CODY RHODESA fantastic tag team bout to close out SmackDown and promote the two championship bouts at the Royal Rumble in nine nights. As expected, CM Punk and Wade Barrett focused on each other, while Dolph Ziggler. The commentators raised questions as to the whereabouts of Paul Heyman, the general consensus being that he does not want to be anywhere near Wade Barrett before the Handicap match at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Championship. Towards the end of the match, Punk was Clotheslined to the outside of the ring when he decided that he had had enough. He grabbed the WWE Championship, attempting to leave. Barrett wouldn't allow him to leave on his own, catching him with a Big Boot that sent Punk over the barricade. With the WWE Title clutched to his chest, the groggy Punk continued to try and get away from Barrett. This left Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes in the ring alone. After Rhodes failed to connect with the Disaster Kick, Ziggler was able to plant him with the Zig Zag to get the victory. The audience popped as Dolph Ziggler was handed back the World Heavyweight Championship, raising it high in the air while standing tall over Cody Rhodes. After Rhodes costed him his match this past Monday on RAW, Ziggler was able to even the score by pinning his challenger at the Royal Rumble. While Ziggler celebrated in the ring, cameras cut to the scene outside of the arena as CM Punk was still trying to get away from Wade Barrett. When Barrett got a hold of Punk, he was caught with a kick to the knee. This allowed Punk a bit of time to get away before a car pulled up, Paul Heyman being seen in the driver's seat. "Get in!" shouted Heyman as Punk entered the car, the two driving away. Barrett watched on, knowing that Punk and Heyman won't be able to get away from him easily in nine nights at the Royal Rumble.

Smackdown Review
JBL being ejected from Smackdown, I love it
Love the fact that it is Mick Foley Appreciation Night and that he was in the ring since the night is dedicated to him, I mean it is only fitting and Mick Foley being in the ring with the new Smackdown GM The Rated R Superstar Edge and Foley bringing up their match at WrestleMania 22, I remember that match, it was awesome and then Foley bringing up how he has a very electrifying friend here, we all know he is talking about The Rock, Rock here on Smackdown this is great, Rock basically made Smackdown what it is today, LAYETH THE SMACKDOWN KNOW YOUR ROLE BOULEVARD and Rock if he is going to win the Rumble he is going to have to go through 29 jabronis to get the job done
Del Rio interrupting Edge and Foley, he clearly must have a chip on his shoulder that's for sure, but I am glad that Edge put him in his place, Del Rio vs Bryan I can't wait
Bryan beating Del Rio, one fifth of God's Gifts, Bryan with a huge win, this win gives him a momentum boost that's for sure considering he is going to be in the Royal Rumble from the #1 spot and Bryan he could win it all even starting from #1 but Bryan if he is going to win the Rumble he is going to have to go through the likes of Orton, Sheamus, Cena, Rock even to get the job done
WWE Champion CM Punk clearly punking out Cody Rhodes as well as God's Gifts backstage, Punk just continues to prove why he is the Best in the World and why Rhodes is not even in his league much less even deserving to tag with him
Big Show after what he did to Justin Gabriel chokeslamming him off of the stage and then KOing Tyson Kidd knocking him out, yes Big Show he has become quite the dangerous man, Big Show is probably as scary as we have ever seen him, probably as heelish as we have ever seen him just like what Big Show should be, he is a giant, he is a destroyer and I am glad Big Show basically displayed his dominance, this man has got to be one of the favorites in the Rumble that's for sure
Tyson Kidd vs Big Show next week, No DQ, does Tyson Kidd have a death wish? Big Show will destroy Tyson Kidd like Tyson Kidd doesn't even stand a chance, this is the ultimate David vs Goliath match-up especially with it being No DQ, Big Show will take Tyson Kidd apart piece by piece
WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose of Smackdown beats the WWE United States Champion RVD of RAW, yes this basically just proves why Ambrose is the future of this business proving why he is the superior champion and why RVD is past it, he is past his prime, he just doesn't have what it takes anymore plain and simple while Ambrose continues to live up to his moniker of being the "Diamond in the Rough", Ambrose has got to be a darkhorse in the Rumble Match and I could see him doing well whereas RVD I can see him doing well in the Rumble too but not that well
Rock coming out, I can't wait
Rock's first Smackdown appearance in over 10 years, Rock is back on the show he made famous he is back on Smackdown back on his show and just when Rock is about to entertain all of us he is interrupted by "The Viper" Randy Orton of all people, imagine this, Orton and Rock in the same ring together at the same time, that is always a match-up I have always wanted to see, The Viper against The Great One The Brahma Bull, Orton vs Rock is a dream match, you can bet these 2 will be in the Rumble Match and their paths could very well cross in the Rumble and then Rock basically set Orton up while Sheamus out of nowhere blindsides Orton with a Brogue Kick, that was great, and then to see Sheamus and The Rock stare down, now that was epic too
God's Gifts Cesaro and Sandow beat the WWE Tag Team Champions Wrestling Royalty yet again in another non-title match, this just proves why Cesaro and Sandow should get another shot at the titles and they will at the Rumble on the Kickoff Show, I for one cannot wait for that because DiBiase and Hennig have been on this awesome run, 290 days atop of the WWE Tag Team division as champions, could it all come to an end at the Rumble?
Go down Know Your Role Boulevard, hang that right at Jabroni Drive, and proceed to check all of their candy asses their rudy poo candy asses into the Smackdown Hotel, love this, this is classic Rock at his finest, I love it, here is hoping he goes through 29 other jabronis and gets the job done but it all depends on what number The Rock draws now doesn't it? But in classic Rock phrase it doesn't matter what number The Rock draws because he could very well get the job done
Ziggler and Barrett backstage with each other, talk about tension, both of these men have big egos so I wonder just how these 2 will be able to co-exist tonight?
Thank God Paige's concussion is not serious and that it won't prevent her from competing at the Rumble and defending her title against Kaitlyn but that gives Kaitlyn an even bigger advantage heading into the Rumble because you know Kaitlyn she will target Paige's head since she is concussion-prone
Kaitlyn beating her former friend AJ Lee, definitely a strong message sent to her opponent the WWE Divas Champion Paige, Kaitlyn has all the momentum
World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler and Wade Barrett beating Cody Rhodes and WWE Champion CM Punk in the main event, this gives Ziggler and Barrett even more of a momentum boost heading into the Rumble but seeing Punk and Barrett brawl all over the arena into the backstage area only for Punk to somehow get away with Heyman in a car, now that was great, what a way to end Smackdown!!!!!!
9 more days until the Royal Rumble pay per view and I for one can't wait

Alrighty then, Smackethdown. A good opening promo for 'Mick Foley Appreciation Night' and a good set up for a match between Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio with the former being victorious. A good segment here with Big Show beating the crap out of Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel. This has been a nice little miny feud heading into Royal Rumble, although none of them will do much. I can imagine Kidd and Gabriel will eliminate Show in the Rumble match, just because. A good champion vs champion match here with Dean Ambrose getting a nice rub by beating Rob Van Dam. Good to see it, especially being clean. BABY OIL! BOOM, ORTON, TAKE THAT BABY OIL AND STICK IT UP YOUR BUTT. I mean, he probably already does so nevermind. A good segment with Rock, Orton and Sheamus and I still think Rock is the top favorite in the Rumble match. Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow beating Wrestling Royalty is big and I can imagine a title shot is in line for the former. No, I got Punk and you got Rhodes damn it. No surprise here with Kaitlyn beating AJ Lee as Kaitlyn is the number one contender. She won't win at Royal Rumble though. Ah, as I suspected, Sandow and Cesaro vs Wrestling Royalty for the tag titles. Should be a good Kickoff Show match. Anyway, the main event. Ziggler and Barrett beating Punk and Rhodes was a good call, as it gave the faces some momentum going. A nice touch with Punk running away to Heyman out in the parking lot, but they won't be running at Royal Rumble, now will they!? WILL THEY!? A good show.

Smart to open with Edge and Foley. The Rock is here? Nice. I love bringing up the history between Edge and Foley and Edge and Del Rio. Great opener, glad Bryan won and hope Bryan wins the Rumble actually. Liked the Punk/Rhodes interaction. Big Show looked like a monster in destroying Kidd and Gabriel, I'm intrigued by what you're doing with Tyson Kidd. Kidd/Show in a No DQ match is interesting. Dean Ambrose over Rob Van Dam is another good win under his belt for Ambrose. The Rock's baby oil diss was funny. Involving The Rock with Sheamus and Orton is cool because it's different. Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow still make for an interesting team and I like that they won a non-title match. Funny Barrett/Ziggler segment. Kaitlyn continues to look like a legit threat heading into the Royal Rumble. Big time main event, surprised it ended cleanly as Ziggler has now pinned Cody twice in a row. Punk escaping Barrett was fine too. Another strong episode as your Road to WrestleMania looks like it will be a huge one. Not much Mick Foley stuff for his Appreciation night but still fun.

| January 21st, 2013 - San Jose, CA Royal Rumble is live this Sunday on Pay Per View! |
After the signature WWE intro, a video package was shown to recap the events of last week's 20th Anniversary edition of Monday Night RAW. After the Chairman of the Board, Vince McMahon, confronted Bray Wyatt, the two would meet in a match later in the evening. Before Wyatt and the rest of his family could bring punishment upon McMahon, Triple H was able to make the save for his father in law. "The Game" would then go on to challenge Wyatt to a No Holds Barred match at the Royal Rumble, which the "Eater of Worlds" would accept. Tonight, Triple H takes on Wyatt Family member, Kane, in the same match type. Also on last week's show, John Cena went up against one of RAW's brightest up and comers, Roman Reigns. After Seth Rollins got involved on behalf of Reigns, The Rock made the save for Cena. Following that, a huge announcement was made. Tonight, live from San Jose, The Rock will compete in his first televised match in a decade when he and Cena team up to battle Reigns and Rollins. The final stop for RAW before the Royal Rumble starts now!
Cutting to the arena, the WWE Universe could be heard booing as we saw the WWE Champion, CM Punk, sitting cross-legged in the ring, Paul Heyman standing at his side. Punk said that for nearly one year now, there has been a massive thorn in his side by the name of Wade Barrett. "How many times do I have to prove that Barrett is not on my level? I defeated him at WrestleMania last year. Then, at Bragging Rights, I took the WWE Championship from him, and two weeks ago, I claimed victory once again inside of a Steel Cage. And what is the result of all of that? I am forced to defend my WWE Title yet against against him, but this time, Paul Heyman will be put in harm's way," said Punk. He stated that it's very fitting that their final encounter will take place at the Royal Rumble. "When Barrett won the Rumble match last year, he believed that he was capable of anything, including proving that he is better than me. This Sunday, I show Barrett once and for all that no one is better than the 'Best in the World.'" Punk handed the microphone to Heyman, who said that this Handicap match at the Royal Rumble only shows how gutless Wade Barrett truly is. "The fact that the man would propose a stipulation in which he does not even have to defeat my client, CM Punk, in order to become the WWE Champion is absurd. Unfortunately for Mr. Barrett, there is no possibility of him obtaining any of his goals. He will not defeat CM Punk to become the new WWE Champion, and he certainly will not lay a finger on me," said Heyman. Seconds later, the theme of Barrett hit to the roar of the audience in San Jose. The "Bare Knuckle Fighter" said that Punk was correct about one thing just now. "It is very appropriate that this match takes place at the Royal Rumble. Our rivalry began the seconds that I won the 2012 Royal Rumble match, because it was at that very moment that I knew we would meet at WrestleMania XXVIII. One year later, I will close this story by beating you for a second time with the WWE Championship on the line. And in the process, I will do the entire WWE a favor by getting rid of that rat, Paul Heyman." Punk told Barrett that he needs to stop referring to last year's events. "Yes, you won the Royal Rumble last year. Yes, you beat me for the WWE Championship in a fluke last year. In this business, it's all about what you have done lately. And lately, I have claimed victory over you on two separate occasions for the WWE Title. The fact that you were granted one more opportunity at the Royal Rumble is ridiculous, but nonetheless, I will beat you one more time on Sunday," said a very confident Punk. The WWE Champion then told Barrett that he has a challenge for him tonight. "Paul Heyman and I are going to sit down at the announce table and watch you prepare for Sunday by competing in a Handicap match," said Punk. He and Heyman exited the ring as Barrett marched towards there, ready to make a statement to the two of them.
HANDICAP MATCH WADE BARRETT DEF. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS A solid bout to kick things off on what is sure to be a massive edition of Monday Night RAW, just six days before the Royal Rumble. It was not an easy task for the "Bare Knuckle Fighter," but with WWE Champion, CM Punk, and Paul Heyman sitting at ringside, Wade Barrett was able to successfully make examples out of Titus O'Neil and Darren Young, who came up short in their quest for momentum heading into the Rumble match. After delivering a Bullhammer Elbow to Titus, Barrett delivered Wasteland to Young for the win.
The audience popped hugely for Wade Barrett as he stood to his feet, but he was instantly taken down when CM Punk struck him behind his knee. Barrett fell onto the canvas as Punk stomped away on him before striking him repeatedly with lefts and rights. The WWE Champion then picked Barrett up off of the canvas, delivering a Go To Sleep. Punk was not done with his assault there as he called for Paul Heyman to step into the ring. Heyman did so with the WWE Title in his hands as Punk held Barrett up. Heyman then struck Barrett with the gold before he handed it back to Punk. "Best in the world!" shouted the WWE Champion as he and Heyman raised each other's arms while standing tall over their Royal Rumble opponent, Wade Barrett.
After the commercial break, Mick Foley's Hall of Fame promo that aired last week was shown once again. On the night before WrestleMania XXIX, the "Hardcore Legend" will take his rightful spot in the WWE Hall of Fame! "Vnimanie! Vnimanie!" shouted the blonde woman who was seen last week with the man who attacked Ryback. A name plate appeared on the screen, revealing her name to be Lana. She spoke in Russian for a bit as the WWE Universe showered her with boos. "People of America, rise for the WWE's newest and most dominant acquisition. The 'Super Athlete.' The 'Bulgarian Brute,' Rusev!" An unfamiliar theme hit as Rusev made his way out to the stage, the commentators recalling his attack on Ryback last week. Rusev stood on a platform as Lana continued to speak highly of the new RAW superstar, claiming that his physical stature alone proves why he is better than the entire American population combined. "Rusev will crush the competition this Sunday when he enters the Royal Rumble match. 29 stand in his way, and 29 will be destroyed," said Lana. However, she was soon interrupted by the blaring of the words, "Feed me!" through the PA system. The crowd stood to its feet as Ryback made his way out to the stage, quickly going after Rusev. The two behemoths exchanged blows before Ryback delivered a knee to the mid section of Rusev. The "Bulgarian Brute" was then sent face-first into the stage before Ryback shouted, "Finish it!" As Ryback was picking Rusev up off of the stage, Lana approached him and shouted at him in Russian. Soon, she actually delivered a slap across the face of Ryback! He let go of Rusev and slowly approached Lana, who continued to shout at him. Rusev was able to get back to his feet and attack Ryback from behind. The "Bulgarian Brute" slammed Ryback onto the steel before applying a Camel Clutch. Ryback faded away as Rusev kept the hold applied, Lana shouting, "Make the American suffer!" Officials were soon on the scene to restore order. Rusev released the Camel Clutch as he and Lana raised each other's arms, the WWE Universe showering them with boos. For the second week in a row, Rusev leaves Ryback for dead while sending a message to the other competitors in the Royal Rumble match.
Returning from the commercial break, Roman Reigns was shown in the locker room area preparing for tonight's huge tag team main event. Suddenly, his partner for the evening, Seth Rollins, walked into the room. Rollins told Reigns that he wanted to take a moment to talk to him about something. "I get it. Stay on the same page tonight, but tear each other apart on Sunday," said Reigns. Rollins responded by telling him that he's only partially correct. "Obviously, you and I have to act as a unit tonight, but even though the Royal Rumble is every man for himself, why can't we stay on the same page? Roman, we are undoubtedly the two most deserving superstars on the roster. We're young and already better than everyone else. We prove that night in and night out, and one of us deserves to headline WrestleMania. So in the Royal Rumble match, you watch my back and I'll watch yours. Then, when it comes down to just the two of us, we'll see who the better man is," said Rollins. Reigns thought about it for a bit before asking Rollins how he was supposed to trust him. "How do I know that you're not just looking for a bodyguard out there?" asked Reigns. Rollins told him that if he doesn't believe him right now, he guarantees that he will when they beat The Rock and John Cena tonight. THE MIZ AND KOFI KINGSTON DEF. DERRICK BATEMAN AND FANDANGO W/ MAXINE A solid tag team match featuring four of the participants in the Royal Rumble match this Sunday. Throughout the match, a bit of dissension among both teams became evident. As Fandango was attempting to make a tag, Bateman stepped off of the ring apron and left up the entrance ramp with Maxine. This allowed The Miz to enter the ring and plant Fandango with a Skull Crushing Finale for the victory.
The WWE Universe popped slightly for The Miz as he stood to his feet, Kofi Kingston joining him in celebration. Miz approached the ropes, taking a bit of time to stare at Derrick Bateman and Maxine. When Miz turned around, Kingston teased delivering Trouble in Paradise. The startled Miz grabbed the ropes as Kingston smirked at him, reminding the "Awesome One" that even though they were tag team partners just now, it will be every man for himself at the Royal Rumble on Sunday.
Backstage, Triple H was shown walking down a corridor. The COO makes his return to the ring to take on Kane in a No Holds Barred match, next on RAW!
A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. On the final stop before the Royal Rumble, Randy Orton and Sheamus go one on one in a Lumberjack match. SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy. Backstage, Derrick Bateman and Maxine were shown walking following Bateman's loss in a tag team match. "It doesn't matter that I left. Fandango was going to lose anyways," said Bateman. Maxine then began to talk, asking Bateman if he would have her back when she wrestles Paige tonight. "Why? It's just Paige. You'll be fine," said Bateman. "Seriously, Derrick?! If you're not going to be out there, then what are you going to do?!" asked an irate Maxine. "Uh, hello? I'm gonna go get ready for the Royal Rumble. I have to pick up my custom suit, my new car, and make sure my private jet is ready to go," said Bateman. Maxine then told him that he's making a lot of preparation for a match that he probably won't even win. "Just like I couldn't be any richer, you couldn't be any more wrong. I'm gonna win the Royal Rumble match, and on top of that, I'm gonna eliminate The Rock!" said Bateman before leaving Maxine to in alone tonight against Paige. NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH TRIPLE H DEF. KANE W/ THE WYATT FAMILYA teaser for what is to come at the Royal Rumble when Triple H and Bray Wyatt collide in the same match type, No Holds Barred. Tonight, however, "The Game" made a return to the ring to take on one-fourth of The Wyatt Family, Kane. Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan all watched from the stage as the "Big Red Monster" looked to punish the COO. Hunter was able to bring the pain to Kane towards the end of the match, striking him in the mid-section with a sledgehammer. Triple H followed that up by taking one of the TV monitors and cracking Kane over the head with it. Hunter then took apart the announce table, grabbing Kane and placing him on it. With his eyes locked on Bray Wyatt, Hunter delivered a Pedigree to Kane onto the announce table! "The Game" quickly rolled Kane back into the ring, covering him to gain the win Triple H stood to his feet as the audience applauded him, though "The Game" was not in the mood for celebration. He took a microphone, telling Bray Wyatt that what just happened to Kane does not even compare to what will happen to him on Sunday. Wyatt cut Hunter off saying that he hears the threatening cries of the false shepherd, but there are no sheep to insight fear in. "The kingdom will be mine, Hunter. It's a shame that you cannot see the inevitable right before you," said Wyatt. Hunter responded by saying that the only inevitable thing in Wyatt's future is an ass kicking. "You put your hands on the people who mean the most to me. Ric Flair, Vince McMahon and my wife, Stephanie. You're not taking anything else away from me. I have gone through hell and back, and every time, I've made it out in one piece. Steel chairs, tables, barbed wire, thumbtacks, fire, you name it, it's been put in my path. And at the Royal Rumble, I'm going to throw everything in yours," said Triple H. He threw his microphone down as he and Wyatt continued to stare each other down. Just how far will Triple H go to make Bray Wyatt pay for his actions this Sunday in their No Holds Barred encounter? Returning to RAW, a recap of the previous events was shown as Triple H managed to defeat Kane in a No Holds Barred match before delivering a few words to Bray Wyatt. "Triple H has engaged in some of the most physical and brutal wars that we have seen in WWE history. As he said, he has seen everything. Chairs, tables, barbed wire, thumbtacks, fire, you name it. How far is Triple H going to go Sunday at the Royal Rumble?" asked Michael Cole on commentary. "One thing is for certain. This match will not be for the faint of heart," added Lawler. UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH ROB VAN DAM DEF. JACK SWAGGER W/ ZEB COLTER AND SHELTON BENJAMIN The rematch that Jack Swagger had been waiting for ever since losing the United States Championship two weeks ago. This time, he had his fellow Real Americans, Zeb Colter and Shelton Benjamin, at ringside. Rob Van Dam managed to eliminate them as a threat when he delivered a Spinning Heel Kick to Benjamin, who was on the ring apron. Benjamin fell back and crashed onto Colter. Swagger came up behind Van Dam, looking for the Patriot Powerbomb. Van Dam was able to counter it into a DDT before heading up to the top rope. Van Dam descended with the Five Star Frog Splash, covering Swagger with the hook of both legs to retain his championship.
Cheers quickly emerged from the San Jose audience as Rob Van Dam stood to his feet, taking the United States Championship that he just successfully defended. As "Mr. Monday Nights" celebrated his victory, the commentary unit put him over as a potential favorite to win the Royal Rumble match this Sunday.
Backstage, Matt Striker was standing by with the one and only, The Rock! As soon as Rock stepped into the scene, the crowd came unglued. Striker asked the "People's Champion" for his thoughts heading into tonight's tag team main event. "The Rock was told that he would be interviewed by that little blonde Canadian, not some English-teaching reject," said The Rock. "I taught Social Studies," said Striker. "It doesn't matter what you taught! Give The Rock that microphone, he'll teach you a thing or two," said Rock before he snatched the mic from Striker. "The Rock knows that the millions and millions of his fans are excited to see him stand tall with a victory in the Royal Rumble match this Sunday, but let's focus on tonight for a moment. Aside from The Rock, not one person who will be out there has any redeeming qualities. You've got that fruity pebble, John Cena. The Rock could not think of a more underwhelming tag team partner. On the other side of the ring, you got Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle! Otherwise known as Roman Reigns. So The Rock guesses that makes Seth Rollins, Jane....or maybe that's Brad Maddox. Either way, the point that The Rock is trying to make is that tonight, The Rock is out there with a bunch of jabronis, just like he will be Sunday at the Royal Rumble. But the result will be the same. The Rock is going to take his boot, turn it sideways in stick it straight up everyone's candy ass on his way to the main event of WrestleMania! If ya smell......what The Rock....is........cooking!"
Returning to RAW, a graphic was shown for the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show that begins thirty minutes prior to the start of the Pay Per View event. The show will feature an all star panel of three past Royal Rumble winners. Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio and Stone Cold Steve Austin! Plus, Wrestling Royalty puts the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow. The Royal Rumble Kickoff Show is live, Sunday on WWE.com, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
NON-TITLE MATCH DIVAS CHAMPION PAIGE DEF. MAXINE After last week's dumbbell attack by Kaitlyn, it was clear that Paige was not 100% in this match. Maxine was able to keep control for a bit, though the "Anti Diva" found a burst of energy after taking her down with several Clotheslines. Paige delivered the Paige Turner, though after she did, she held her head for a bit. While dazed, Paige got the cover to get the victory.
The crowd popped for Paige as she slowly stood to her feet following her victory. When the official handed her the Divas Championship, he asked if she was alright. Paige insisted that she was fine as she celebrated with her championship. The commentators made note of Paige's condition, saying that it is a clear target for Kaitlyn at the Royal Rumble on Sunday.
Backstage, John Cena was shown preparing for tonight's huge tag team main event. He teams with The Rock to take on two of RAW's up and comers, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns! The Rock's first televised match in a decade is still to come tonight!
Returning to Monday Night RAW, Renee Young was standing by in the backstage area with the Divas Champion, Paige. Renee asked the "Anti Diva" for her final thoughts heading into this Sunday's title defense against Kaitlyn. Paige said that she is done talking. "The moment that I have been waiting for for weeks now is only six days away. Sure, I may not be 100% after her little dumbbell attack last week, but I don't care. I am going into the Royal Rumble with only one thing on my mind - revenge. And I promise you, I will make sure that bitch doesn't come anywhere near my family ever again!" said an enraged Paige.
At the announce table, Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler began to give a rundown of the card for the Royal Rumble Pay Per View event. Prior to the start of the event, Wrestling Royalty will put the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against Damien Sandow and Antonio Cesaro on the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show. Will day 299 mark the end of Hennig and DiBiase's historic reign? Paige looks for revenge when she defends the Divas Championship against Kaitlyn. The World Heavyweight Championship will be up for grabs when Dolph Ziggler defends the gold against God's Gifts' Cody Rhodes. CM Punk defends the WWE Championship with Paul Heyman as his partner against Wade Barrett in a Handicap match. Blood will be shed when Triple H and Bray Wyatt go one on one in a No Holds Barred. And finally, it is the Royal Rumble match. Thirty men will enter, but only one will leave with a first class ticket to the main event of WrestleMania. Who will be "The One?" The Royal is live this Sunday on Pay Per View!
A graphic was shown for the huge tag team match pitting The Rock and John Cena against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. The "Great One" competes in his first televised match in a decade, next!
A promo was shown for the Royal Rumble, live this Sunday, only on Pay Per View. THE ROCK AND JOHN CENA DEF. SETH ROLLINS AND ROMAN REIGNS W/ BRAD MADDOX VIA DISQUALIFICATION This match saw the most fired up audience in recent memory for any bout on Monday Night RAW. Chants of, "We want Rocky!" flooded the atmosphere as John Cena stayed in the ring for a while against Rollins and Reigns. As Reigns was going for a Spear, Cena was able to counter it with a Dropkick. Both men crawled to their corners as Rock and Rollins extended their hands out. When Cena made the tag to The Rock, the WWE Universe exploded for the "Great One." Rock stepped into the ring, taking down Rollins with several Clotheslines. As Rock was looking to hit Rock Bottom, Rollins managed to fight out of it. He attempted to deliver the Blackout, but Rock was able to counter it into a Spinebuster! He threw one of his elbow pads into the audience, going for the People's Elbow. However, as he was running the ropes, Brad Maddox grabbed his foot from underneath the bottom rope. Maddox held on as Reigns went after Rock, the official calling for the bell.
The bell sounded as the audience expressed their displeasure for the finish of the match. Reigns and Rollins both stomped away on Rock before John Cena intervened. He was able to hold his own for a while, getting Rollins up on his shoulders for the Attitude Adjustment. Suddenly, Cena was drilled with a Spear from Reigns! As Reigns stood to his feet, The Rock turned him around and placed him in position for the Rock Bottom. That was not to be, however, as Rollins caught Rock with a Superkick, following it up with the Blackout! Rock and Cena were both laid out as Rollins and Reigns stared at each other, the former extending his hand. "Now do you trust me?" asked Rollins, making reference to their encounter earlier in the broadcast. Reigns still appeared to be a bit hesitant, but ultimately accepted the handshake. Brad Maddox stepped into the ring as he raised both Reigns and Rollins' arms. The two young guns managed to work as a unit and lay out both The Rock and John Cena, showing that it may not be every man for himself in the Royal Rumble match. If tonight was any indication for what's to come on Sunday, either Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns could be on their way to the main event at WrestleMania.

6 more days until the Royal Rumble pay per view, my all-time favorite pay per view and why? Because it begins the road to WrestleMania that's why
28 out of 30 superstars are in the Royal Rumble Match and only 2 slots are left open which means there could be 2 surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble Match, 2 returning superstars I hope
The Rock & John Cena were able to work well together in the main event despite the fact of their history but Maddox gets involved ruining what could have been a great main event, Rock and Cena get the win but at what cost? They ended up getting decimated by both Reigns and Rollins to end the show and the young guns standing tall, yes they could be favorites in the Royal Rumble Match but it all depends on the luck of the draw now doesn't it? And for Reigns and Rollins with a Mania main event on the line these 2 men will turn on each other just like how The Rock and Cena would because it is every man for himself in there
Love the rundown of the final card because it is so stacked, and then you have the all-star panel of former Royal Rumble Match winners HBK (1995, 1996), Austin (1997, 1998, 2001), and then you have Rey Mysterio on that panel (2006) 2 of those men on the panel are Hall of Famers and Rey is a future WWE Hall of Famer since in your diary he did retire at SummerSlam and Rey set the pace for the longest time in the Royal Rumble Match in 2006 at 1 hour, 2 minutes, 12 seconds but Austin has won the most Rumbles in history winning 3 of them and Michaels has won 2 of them
Paige the WWE Divas Champion after beating Maxine sending a message to Kaitlyn in the process it makes me wonder if Paige is really ready to defend her WWE Divas Championship against Kaitlyn at the Rumble given everything Kaitlyn has done to her and not to mention Paige is coming in with a concussion and then having to defend her title in 6 days, it makes me wonder what kind of condition is she really in? But she is so dead set on getting revenge that I don't even think she will care but then again Kaitlyn is already in Paige's head
RVD retaining his WWE United States Championship beating Jack Swagger of the Real Americans, I honestly thought that Swagger was going to win the gold back but now that he hasn't, I could see Shelton Benjamin stepping up to the plate to challenge RVD for the WWE United States Championship considering Benjamin is a former WWE United States Champion and considering Benjamin is now a Real American, if he were to win the belt, he would make sure that the belt comes back to the Real Americans but at the same time though the Real Americans are in the Royal Rumble Match so it makes me wonder if they will be able to work together this Sunday especially since it is every man for himself? And RVD is a favorite in there as well
Triple H the COO The Game The Cerebral Assassin The King of Kings beats Wyatt Family member Kane in a No Holds Barred Match, similar match type to what Triple H will have this Sunday when he faces the patriarch the leader of the Wyatt Family Bray Wyatt, but in the process Triple H sends a very strong message, a strong statement by beating Kane but beating Kane so severely too, yes Triple H is deadset on revenge because he is looking to take out Bray Wyatt as well as the whole Wyatt Family because they made it personal when they went after the RAW GM his former Evolution teammate and best friend Ric Flair, when they went after his family namely his father in law Vince and his wife Stephanie especially Stephanie yes they made it personal but at the same time it is all mind games but at the same time Bray Wyatt I think he may have bitten off more than he can chew
Bateman he actually thinks he is going to win the Royal Rumble Match, I don't know who he thinks he's fooling if he thinks he actually stands a chance in there especially with the likes of The Rock, John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Del Rio, Cesaro, Sandow, Reigns, Rollins, Miz, etc. but Bateman has the money he has the resources I mean he is like a new modern day Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase but you can't beat the original Million Dollar Man and not to mention his son Ted Jr. is also going to be in the Rumble Match
The Miz and Kofi beating Fandango and Bateman, I really loved this match because of the fact that I didn't expect Kofi to attack much less blindside his own tag team partner The Miz by hitting Trouble in Paradise from out of nowhere on him, could that be a sign of a heel turn from Kofi? Or maybe Kofi was trying to send a message that it is not only every man for himself but that he plans on winning the whole thing then I could see why he did what he did but Bateman leaving Fandango to fend for himself, just goes to show you that Bateman doesn't care about anyone or anything except himself
Reigns and Rollins alliance I definitely do not see that lasting too much longer especially in the Royal Rumble Match where it is every man for himself, and only one of them can go to Mania but they have bigger problems like The Rock and John Cena and imagine this for irony, Reigns and The Rock are related in real life, they are cousins imagine that
Ryback and Rusev's segment, Rusev in the Royal Rumble Match he could be a darkhorse in the Royal Rumble Match especially if he is in it but then again so is Ryback who should be the favorite especially considering Ryback the tear he has been on as of late, but seeing Rusev and Ryback collide like this, it is like King Kong and Godzilla going at it right here, 2 monsters colliding, and only 1 can be dominant but Rusev leaving Ryback laying again for the 2nd week in a row, Rusev is continuing to show all of us including the 29 other superstars who will be in the Rumble that he is a man to be feared
I wonder who will be the 2nd inductee for the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame? Who will join Foley in this class?
But I loved the way you opened up RAW though with Punk and Heyman only for Barrett to interrupt them and then Punk and Heyman going on commentary for Barrett's match as Barrett beats both Primetime Players beating both Titus O'Neil and Darren Young, especially considering this Sunday Barrett has to face WWE Champion CM Punk and his manager/valet Paul Heyman in a Handicap Match with the WWE Championship on the line and then Punk and Heyman both leaving Barrett laying, could that be the scene this Sunday?
6 more days until the Royal Rumble PPV, I can't wait until NXT and Smackdown are posted because then we can finally get on with the Royal Rumble pay per view

Alright, go home Raw before the Royal Rumble. Should be fun. I love how you've made a year long rivalry out of Wade Barrett/CM Punk and they've only had three one on one matches I believe. ('Mania, Raw in England & steel cage). It's original and great. Poor Prime Time Players, but made sense. Rusev and Ryback is a realistic feud that I could have seen happening if Ryback stayed face. I like the idea of Seth Rollins trying to partner up with Roman Reigns at the Rumble. Odd tag team pairings but it works heading into the Rumble. You write this Derrick Bateman character fantastically. I love his promos and backstage segments. Triple H winning was clear, and his match with Bray at the Royal Rumble should be awesome and brutal. RVD retaining is for the best as I hope to see Swagger & Benjamin become a tag team. Solid Rock promo. Paige winning was good but I like how you made sure to note her injury. Interesting how the next Tag Team Title defense is one day before 300. Having the main event end in a DQ works to protect everyone. Surprised but happy to see the young guns stand tall at the end. Another great show as always from you.

Alright, the last Raw before the Royal Rumble! A good opening promo between Punk/Heyman and Barrett. Solid set up into the opening contest with Barrett beating the Prime Time Players in a handicap match, previewing Sunday. I don't see Barrett taking the title away, as I see Punk going into WrestleMania the WWE Champion. I dunno how I feel about Rusev coming in so early. That is really one of the biggest things I've had to criticize about you. Anyway, a feud with him and Ryback is interesting and Rusev competing in the Royal Rumble shall be interesting. I wonder if you're going for a future with The Shield. It is possible, but, I dunno. Anyway, a decent tag team match here with The Miz and Kofi Kingston beating Derrick Bateman and Fandango. Screw Fandango! Lol. Derrick Bateman eliminate The Rock. Won't happen, punk ass. Triple H defeating Kane in a No Holds Barred Match was obvious here heading into the match this Sunday. A nice promo from Triple H afterward as this is personal, damn it! Rob Van Dam beating Jack Swagger to retain the United States Championship is the right call as Swagger is now teaming up with Shelton Benjamin. THAT FRUITY PEBBLE, JOHN CENA! THE ROCK SAYS FRUITY PEBBLE! YOU HEAR THAT, MAGGLE? Ahem. Moving forward, Paige beating Maxine is no surprise with Paige being the Diva's Champion, obviously. FInally, a huge main event with a disqualification finish coming so Rollins and Reigns aren't buried, but Rock and Cena as a team doesn't really get thrown in too much. Rollins and Reigns laying out Rock and Cena, though, afterward is huge. Gives them a nice rub heading into Sunday but I don't see either one of them winning. Rock and Cena are obviously more likely to do so. Anyway, a good go home show into the Royal Rumble for Raw.

Raw thoughts...
Good start with Punk and Barrett and bringing up the history of the 2 and Punks recent dominance planted seeds of doubts that Punk will win Sunday especially after Punk struck last! Doubt you'd take the title of Punk so soon though...
Would of had Rusev debut in the Rumble once you decided to bring him in.
Real Americans can move on to Wrestling Royalty once they've been built up enough. I look forward to that.
Bateman COULD eliminate Rock especially if Rocks not going to win it. Let's do some TG11 fantasy booking maybe Rock and Cena are going at it lose concentration and Bateman dumps them both leaving a final four then off Bateman, Rollins, Reigns and Bryan where Bryan then survives... TG11 got nothing on me.
Speaking of Reigns and Rollins it's interesting your teasing a partnership especially after Rollins rejected Punk a few weeks back.
Wouldn't have had HHH wrestle with no hour you could have still got to the visual of HHH putting Kane through a table without the match. Enjoying HHH/Wyatt just feel the match weirdly has come round to fast and you could have held off a little longer.
Good Main Event set up the Rumble perfect looking forward to the Rumble and while TG11 believes there 30 favourites I'll say there's 3 favourites and one of Rock/Cena/Bryan will win with me leaning more towards Bryan.
Looking forward to Rumble great effort as always check out TNA51 when you get a chance it's on the board somewhere...

WWE NXT | January 23rd, 2013The show kicked off with Bo Rotundo making his return after embarking on what he referred to as the "Bo Rotundo World Tour." While sporting a hat from Disneyland, Rotundo said that he hopes to make the entire NXT Universe "Bolievers," just as he did a group of starving children in Bolivia by giving them water guns. He had a bag with him that said contained presents for everyone in attendance. The "presents" turned out to be autographed pictures of Rotundo with a message written on them - Don't stop Bolieving! He began to hand them out, though most people rejected them. Richie Steamboat then made his entrance, Rotundo trying to give him a picture. Steamboat knocked the picture out of Rotundo's hand before saying that the last thing he wants from him is a preset. Rotundo kept a smile on his face, telling Steamboat that he may need psychiatric help. Steamboat responded by saying that the only thing he needs right now is a match against Rotundo, which he has been granted in two weeks. ADRIAN NEVILLE DEF. TYLER BREEZE: A feud has been brewing as of late between Adrian Neville and Tyler Breeze, culminating in a one on one match. As Breeze was attempting to deliver a Superplex, he became a bit too occupied with taking "selfies." Neville knocked the phone out of Breeze's hands before tossing him off of the top rope, descending with the Red Arrow to grab the victory. ALEX RILEY DEF. ANGELO DAWKINS: Last week, Alex Riley stated in a post-match interview that he felt a change was needed in order for him to get back on track and receive the recognition that he deserves. As a follow up to that declaration, Riley returned to his "Varsity Villain" persona, complete with his letter jacket from the original NXT days. The change in Riley's attitude proved to be successful as he scored the victory after planting Angelo Dawkins with a TKO. A graphic was shown to announce that next week, NXT Women's Champion Emma will be taking on Sasha Banks in a non-title match. KENNETH CAMERON DEF. YOSHI TATSU: While this was Kenneth Cameron's in-ring debut as a singles competitor on NXT, he was no stranger to the NXT Universe after confronting William Regal last week. Regal was on commentary, though he remained mostly silent as Cameron constantly glanced over at him. While staring at Regal, Cameron hit Yoshi Tatsu with a vicious Curb Stomp to gain the victory. Even as Cameron was heading up to the entrance ramp after the match, he and Regal continued to lock eyes. The ring was now set up for the official contract signing between NXT Champion, Kassius Ohno, and Sami Zayn for their title match on February 27th at NXT's third iPPV. With General Manager, Ricardo Rodriguez, acting as the overseer for the segment, Ohno and Zayn both entered the ring and took their seats at the table. Before signing the contract, Ohno told Zayn that for him, part of this match is about reclaiming the spotlight that Zayn tried to take away from him after he defeated William Regal two weeks ago. Zayn responded by saying that he wasn't after Ohno's spotlight. He was simply doing the right thing when he prevented Ohno from doing any further damage to Regal. Ohno signed the contract, handing it to Zayn and telling him that he should know what he's getting into before he signs his own death warrant. Zayn signed the contract as Ricardo announced that the match was now official. After he did so, Ohno pulled Zayn face-first onto the surface of the table. He then back into a corner, getting his elbow ready as Zayn stirred to his feet. Zayn dodged the Roaring Elbow, grabbing the NXT Championship and striking Ohno in the face with it! The crowd went wild as Zayn raised the title high in the air, sending a huge message before he and Ohno meet on February 27th for the NXT Championship! Friday Night SmackDown! | January 25th, 2012The final broadcast before the Royal Rumble kicked off with one of the favorites to win it all on Sunday, Daniel Bryan, making his way out to a monstrous "Yes!" chant. Bryan said that it seems like John Bradshaw Layfield, despite not being a position of power anymore, has done everything that he can to try and prevent him from winning the Royal Rumble match in two nights. Not only did he make him the number one entrant in the match, but three of the four members of God's Gifts will also be in the mix of things, and he is sure that one of their main objectives is to eliminate him. "I'm here to tell JBL one final time that it doesn't matter what he does. He isn't the first person to tell me that I cannot accomplish something. I have been told my entire life that I am just not good enough, but every single time, I have proven them wrong. Throw what you want in my way, Bradshaw. Throw me in there at number one. Throw God's Gifts at me, I will still prove you wrong. Listen to me carefully when I say these words. This Sunday, I will win the Royal Rumble match! I will headline WrestleMania! And I will become champion! Yes! Yes! Yes!" The audience rallied behind Bryan, chanting thunderously along with him. DANIEL BRYAN DEF. HEATH SLATER: As Bryan prepares for the Royal Rumble, he went up against another participant in the match on Sunday. With no 3MB in sight as Slater ordered Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal to "get the party started" in Phoenix, he was left to go in alone against arguably the hottest superstar in the WWE. Bryan kept control of a good portion of the match, eventually catching Slater with the Busaiku Knee to grab the win and a bit more momentum heading into the biggest challenge of his career on Sunday. BIG SHOW DEF. TYSON KIDD IN A NO DISQUALIFICATIONS MATCH: The culmination of a month-long rivalry between Big Show and Tyson Kidd, which escalated last week when Show delivered a Chokeslam to Kidd's tag team partner, Justin Gabriel, off of the stage. Kidd already owns a pinfall victory over Big Show, but this was a much different environment. With a table set up in the ring, Kidd was looking to deliver a Springboard Clothesline through it. As he was in mid-air, Show caught him and delivered a Chokeslam through the table to capture the victory. Backstage, Renee Young attempted to get a quick interview with Daniel Bryan before he was attacked from behind by Alberto Del Rio, the man that he defeated last week. Del Rio tossed Bryan into a wall before applying the Cross Armbreaker, trying to weaken him before the Royal Rumble match. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION DEAN AMBROSE DEF. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DOLPH ZIGGLER: A big champion versus champion match heading into Sunday's Royal Rumble event. As Ziggler looked to be on the verge of victory, Cody Rhodes made his way down to ringside and distracted the official, allowing Ambrose to catch the "Show Off" with a low blow. Ambrose followed that up with a Knee Trembler to get the win. Ambrose celebrated wildly as had just pinned the World Heavyweight Champion! In the ring, Rhodes grabbed Ziggler and delivered a Piledriver! The "Prince of Pro Wrestling" then grabbed the World Title, raising it high in the air while standing tall over his opponent at the Royal Rumble. DAMIEN SANDOW W/ ANTONIO CESARO DEF. JOE HENNIG W/ TED DIBIASE: Before these two teams meet on Sunday's Royal Rumble Kickoff Show for the WWE Tag Team Championships, Damien Sandow and Joe Hennig went one on one for a battle of momentum. After countering out of the Perfect Plex, Sandow was able to roll up Hennig with a handful of tights to steal the victory. Last week, Cesaro managed to defeat DiBiase, and now Sandow scores a victory over the other half of Wrestling Royalty. Cesaro and Sandow celebrated on the stage while the commentators questioned whether DiBiase and Hennig will be able to reach day 300. DIVAS CHAMPION PAIGE DEF. ALICIA FOX: Much like this past Monday on RAW, Paige looked to not be at 100% in this match. With every bump that she took, she held the back of her head while squinting in discomfort. Ultimately, she was able to lock Alicia Fox in the Scorpion Crosslock, now known as the Norwich Knot, to get the submission victory. As she was exiting the ring, Kaitlyn blindsided her with a Spear! Paige was motionless as the commentary unit noted that the back of her head crashed against the floor. "It's over, Paige," said Kaitlyn, vowing to become the new Divas Champion on Sunday at the Royal Rumble. RANDY ORTON AND SHEAMUS WRESTLED TO A NO CONTEST IN A LUMBERJACK MATCH: As Randy Orton and Sheamus looked to settle their rivalry here tonight, the ring was surrounded by SmackDown's other participants in the Royal Rumble match on Sunday. Daniel Bryan, though, was noticeably absent as he was receiving medical treatment. After Sheamus was tossed to the outside, he shoved Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose out of the way in order to get back into the ring. Later on, as Sheamus was looking for the Brogue Kick, Ambrose jumped into the ring went after him. Tyson Kidd then immediately jumped into the ring to go after Ambrose when the rest of the Lumberjacks did the same. God's Gifts, Wrestling Royalty, Big Show and Heath Slater were all now involved as all hell was breaking loose. The entrance music of Daniel Bryan then hit to an enormous pop as he ran down to the ring, climbing onto the top rope and coming off with a Missile Dropkick to Alberto Del Rio. Chaos continued to ensue in a scene that was very reminiscent of what is to come Sunday at the Royal Rumble.

Now that NXT and Smackdown are out of the way we can finally get to the Royal Rumble pay per view and I for one can't wait and since the card is pretty much set, I think we end up seeing returns from Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar banking any money on that
