the wife and i just got razr maxx's... i didnt want it , but the bogo was a great deal and she made me a deal of .. if i dont like it in a few months she will hop on ebay and nab me the droid 4 that i wanted..
but so far i really like it.. i do miss the actual keyboard at times.. but runs extremely fast , hell of a nice cam.. HUGE battery life.. first day i had it , i was on it all day messing about .. the thing lasted all day..
and there is an app we got to help with 4g problems.. if you go to an area that doesnt have good coverage this helps.. its 4g toggle , its free , and you can shut off 4g.. since when its looking for the service and switching back and forth it eats battery life.. so when we are in places that it doesnt get 4g.. we turn it off...

I got 14 hours on battery yesterday. Supposedly VZW is having network issues today. I didn't know this and was trying to fix my phone and it factory reset itself. That pissed me off. The phone is on a short leash at the moment and it's jerking on it. What were you doing on your phone for those 14? That's pretty decent for an Android with 4G (which pains me to say). Have you ever dabbled in rooting your Android phones? Typical stuff that I usually do. Email syncing in the background. Downloading podcasts. That type of thing. I was happy with that battery life. I don't mind plugging in the phone when I go to bed. I didn't do a lot of the streaming to my bluetooth headset like I typically do so we'll see how that works out.

A lot of syncing can kill battery life, but it's mostly 4G that's the culprit on Androids these days. Enjoy your HTC. By the way, sync up your music files with Google Music and you don't have to worry about not ever having a song you want on the good. It's wonderful.
