Yes, Bulldog injured his back on the trap door in wcw, and while in hospital got his release from WCW. When owen visited him in hospital they were excited about reforming their team in the WWE. Unfortinately by the time Bulldog had recovered and re-debuted Owen's accident had occured. right makes sense.he was in hospital for ages wasnt he? yeah that was a bad bump Bulldog took on the war games trap door.nearly paralysed him didnt it? |

I know they talked about him coming back but I also heard his return was more to do with him wanting to honor Owens memory. With his time of release, owens death etc...Sounds more plausible that it was to honor then to reform a tag team. Not saying it wasnt discussed, just going by time frame. |
