Yeah, Triple H was barely over at this point. The match was a good Warrior match. HHH can crap on Warrior all he wants but a casual fan watching Warrior matches would see nothing different between this and the Warrior Vs Honkey Tonk Man or any other mid card guy fighting Warrior in his WWF career. OWN! And Honky was the longest reigning Intercontinental champion when he dropped the belt to Warrior. It's a great example of how a lightning quick match can be just as exciting and memorable as a 1 hour iron man match. |
