WWE Smackdown star Mark Henry could be coming to an end with his time in WWE.
Mark Henry's contract is coming to an end later this year and tensions have built up between him and WWE that it is very possible he doesn't stick around according to PWTorch.com. As reported in December, Henry pulled his groin in a match with John Cena the week prior to the TLC pay-per-view. It is reported that while many officials wanted Henry to take some solid time off to heal up, Vince McMahon wasn't as sympathetic. McMahon had Henry lose the World Heavyweight Title at the pay-per-view and Daniel Bryan cashed in Money In The Bank to win it. McMahon pushed Henry to continue working the dates scheduled which had led to frustration on Henry's part.
Mark Henry has lost many of his recent television matches and it is believed this is happening due to the high possibility of him leaving WWE.

I think Henry was more interesting in 2011 than in his entire career. BUT, he's a monster heel. He has to come in, do his thing, leave, and then come back just when people have forgotten about him. That being said, I'm not tired of him at all right now, but I think him getting hurt, and then working hurt, screwed up what he had going.

WWE needs Mark Henry more than he needs WWE. The roster is ridiculously thin now. Enuff said.

I think they could keep him around and have him be his monster heel self just without the title. Funny thing is, I'd actually be pissed if he left when if it were a year or two ago, I wouldn't give a shit.

It's disgusting that they'd make him work through an injury, if he wasn't sure about doing so.
I'm not saying it's true, but if it is; then I wouldn't blame him for leaving.

He has been around for a long while, i never really realize he has been around for so long sometimes so i could understand him wanting to retire.

Ehh don't think I'd really care if he left. 2011 was his peak, and he was very enjoyable and entertaining in his monster role. It was great to see him finally win the championship, but still he's too injury prone. He had a long run, and it would be fitting if it ended with him (relatively) on top.
I wouldn't really say the roster is thin though. You have a bunch of budding stars like Ziggler, Rhodes, Swagger. With Henry out, guys like that will be able to move up to the next level, and stay there at a consistent rate.

There's still a lot more they could do with Henry.

I still love how the dirtsheets always have to throw Vince under the bus Yes I'm sure Vince McMahon is pissed off at Mark Henry for getting injured and is forcing him to job every week. There has to be something to it, I honestly don't know what it could be. I'd like Henry to stick around a longer time, but maybe it's good for him that his time is coming to an end. Guy's had a crazy career, full of ups and downs but getting a World title is definitley the milestone

Hope Henry doesn't go
I'm a fan and have been for years
Used correctly he can be effective
He is far from the best but he has something to offer at a time when, as stated above, the roster is thin

Henry really grew to be interesting over the last year. Be a shame to se him go.

Well (if true) it was a good run...
By "good" I mean 15 years of doing nothing and 1 year of success.

One side of me wants Henry to stick around because he's one of my favorites. The other wants him to take some time off so he can heal.
When Mark Henry walks down your street, you drive on the sidewalk!

I won't miss him much to be honest..
At least he got his world title reign last year.
He should probably retire soon enough anyways with all the injuries he has accumulated over the years.

I still wish they never put the belt on the big show if it was just going to be taking away from him like that. Would much of had preferred Mark henry and Big Show being out after some sort of collision, and Daniel Bryan interfering in the match, pinning Big Show for the win. But hey-ho.
