aw man i just got arn and thought i could swap at the thigh and then when that didnt work (hip joints dont align) thought i could pop hips off the ball joint (but cody and arn have two different t bar hip/side balls. so there goes one arn in the trash along with a cody. good thing i bought another one. still might grab another cody do the dean fix. cause he really needs it. but bummmerrrr..... I'm not quite understanding this. Once you split Arn's upper hips apart you should be able to put on Cody's split upper hips around the ball sockets. At least the T-bar crotch piece is pretty standard with all figures, shouldn't be different. Looks like I'm going to have to split trunks for both arn and Cody to keep the t-bar intact. cody's t bar has giant ball joints and arn's has smaller ball joints. i thought there was a standard t bar too, but cody and arn have different ones. so cody's hip joints are too big for arn's t bar. dean's is really the best fix--arn's torso on cody's trunks/legs

That arn looks great also. My Arn figures will be her today, but I doubt I'll do a leg swap mainly because they won't go back together as cleanly as your did. lol

I've got the half red/half white trunks lined up waiting to do some trunk-splitting and big legs exchanging! Sorry Bandy, I'm done now. I had to switch both Arns out though, I hated the skinny legs. I dont understand why Mattel used them for him to begin with when they already had the Rhodes13 legs laying around...smh. Owell, hopefully Tully comes ready to go with no changes. My only plan for him so far is painting some socks and adding an open hand and BrainBusters jacket. Hey dean, what's the recipe for hall? R3 head, Wade Barret arms and torso, Cody Rhodes legs, AX claves and soon to be Rick Rude boots. Its still a WIP. Im waiting on my pad print machine too so I can print some chest hair and tight logos.

I thought swap the thighs was easy all you had to do was heat them up and pop them off like arms.. Am I missing something? the thighs are easy yes - boil and pop The upper thighs (the pieces left attached to the crotch and t-bar) is the part that also needs splitting because Cody's is larger than Arn's. Splitting that is actually quite simple: heat + knife at the seam and 9 times out of 10 it falls apart if the glue is melted enough. The tough part is splitting trunks. I've had minimal success, a clean split is almost unheard of, you eventually have to cut or break the pegs inside. It's the one way to get that t-bar out, which appears is what i'll have to do if I want to put Arn in red/white trunks.

Trying that swap is hit or miss. Mattel made different sizes of the leg sockets (balls) so finding two different figures with the exact same size is a shot in the dark. I've found that trunk splitting is about the only sure fire way to do a leg swap.

Dean, do you have any extra already split crotch pices? Because I just tried taking Cody's apart while waiting for Arn to arrive and let's just say I destroyed the crotch piece. Trying to split it the whole left side of the back piece snapped off. So now Cody is on an extra Funk lower body. lol I should have just remove Cody's trunk deco and used the whole lower body on Arn instead of trying to split the crotch piece.
Also I asked this a few pages back are you planning on making a Triple H in his black trunks with silver hHh logos?

What color are you wanting? I dont have any extra split trunks, but I could get/print one if needed. Are Codys legs still ok? Because the last Arn I made I just split the AA trunks and added Cody Rhodes legs. The seams turned out perfect. You could always send me the Arn and Rhodes legs and I could Frankenstein it together for you. Im not sure what HHH logo you mean, I could make it once I get the pad print machine up and going if i had a reference pic to go by.

The legs & stem are perfect, but there's no salvageable crotch piece left...so I don't even want to try Arn's. lol When you get your machine let me know. As for the hHh trunks I don't have any pics but if you've seen his NYC street fight vs Cactus Jack from MSG those were the trunks. If you can do it I'll send Arn and Trips then.
