I'm touching up paint. Just submitted my entry good luck. Truth be told mine sucks. Didn't come out like I envisioned. Paint hurt me. I've gotten solid with part swaps but still struggling with paint. But still fun, I'll always participate

I want to wish everyone good luck, wish I would have joined, but found out too late.
I've been working on several customes, and helping a buddy out with a few things, its a shame I could not enter one, but ill be showing my stuff off soon.

Sorry to say but I must have mixed my epoxy wrong and it's in no shape to sand nor paint. If Sandy is willing to postpone our match, I'll have an entry on Monday or Tuesday.

Considering how many people showed interest and how much time we all had, this is certainly not a good sign that just a few entries have been received this late in the day. My entry had some issues as well, but I still turned it in. Hopefully a surge of late entries will make this worthwhile, but I'm not too hopeful.

Dude, this sucks. I've always been a silent spectator to this, and it's disappointing to hear what the actual turnout may be. If I had known it would've been like this, I probably would've submitted a custom...

I'm sorry guys, been gone all day today, forgot about fathers day and family plans and such.
I just got in for the day, I didn't receive any more entries after I made the post last night. I will post them up tomorrow afternoon. I myself would like to apologize for not even finishing a figure myself. Thank you to all that did turn something in and I'm sorry that you put forth your efforts for next to no reason.
Again, I will post the entries tomorrow afternoon for sure.

I can't talk for everyone else but, for me I think it would have been much more successful if the deadline wasn't so far away. A week and a half would have been fine. I was pumped the first couple days and then my ambition died.

^yeah, but a week and a half would have been barely enough to get some parts in. But yeah, maybe like a month would have been better.
Customs on here are dead in general.
Thanks to the 4-5 people that did submit. Hope to see some cool stuff.

I think that tournaments are cool, especially customs. But I think the problem was and could have been the fact that maybe not everyone liked the stipulations. I think that with most younger people are mainly interested in doing customs of people they want not pick someone you have to make because it fits the stipulations. Maybe for future contests that once people are paired they exchange emails and agree upon a stipulation and submit the agreed upon stipulation to the host and post all stipulations in a thread with set due dates. And yes thank you to those who did turn in your customs can not wait to see new customs on here that is not Jeff Hardy or Ultimate Warriors

I would have rathered a stip. like "anyone who has never had a figure made by jakks or Mattel." something more broad.

People should be able to enter anyone they feel like making, Even if the entry was already officially made in some other attire. I've seen tons of great customs of people who already had a factory released figure, Of course it's always cool to see someone that never had a figure released but the judgement of a custom should be the efforts of the customizer and not the person that's being created..

I agree with the loose/open stipulations, but when two people are facing each other, it's difficult to judge two entirely different characters. I thought these stipulations were better, in that the time period was wide open, whereas the possibilities were extremely limited. The only figures I contemplated making was PN News, Ace (whom I made), Muta (who has been made many times), Eddie Gilbert, and another, who I can't think of right now.
