Been really into WCW 2001 lately and Ive noticed that guys were signed but never debuted. I know Sabu was signed in 2000/2001 but never debuted because Heyman sued him for Breach of contract. I also know that RVD and Steve Corino were signed but never debuted. Does anyone else know of guys that were suposed to debut in the "new" WCW in 2001 but never did debut

This was way before 2001, but when Eric Bischoff was spending Ted Turner's money and signing everyone with a pulse, Lanny Poffo was under contract... paid for months on end (maybe years?) to sit at home. WCW wasn't interested in his services; they hired him at Randy Savage's insistence.

Once they didn't use him, they used the name for Randy's girlfriend.

Roadblock was on an edition of WCW Nitro and got racked by Luger during 1997, it was in the run up to Luger's one week World title reign

Wasn't Mike Quackenbush & Reckless Youth signed to WCW when they hired a crapton of cruiserweights in 2000/2001. But they never appeared on tv and were quickly released.

I remember Quack talking about this, i think on his Art of Wrestling interview. If I remember correctly, he decided not to sign as he didn't want to move to Atlanta. Youth made the move, and was gone from the company a month later. I could be wrong about how it went down, but I think that's about it.

Man, Reckless Youth just didn't have the luck with the big companies. I remember when he was signed to a WWF deal, and even got mentioned in WWF Magazine, in an article showcasing some of the developmental talent.

Crazy to see all these names that never got air time in WCW.
Quick question, was Colt Cabana ever signed? Because there was a video on YouTube not to long ago that had him working in the crowd as a fan getting shoved by somebody on PPV.

Steve something - he was once ECW Champion, he said that he was signed but WWF would buy out WCW soon after but WWF never also signed him.
