WFWF Presents: "IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!" Card

Yeah sorry about that, it's been a bit of a hectic week but I do nearly have the match finished. I'm aiming to get it to you by the end of the day and at the latest tomorrow afternoon.

yeah.. usually takes this long, because most people don't pre-write anything.

Me, I don't think I've ever turned in a match after the roleplay deadline. And my matches are usually the highest quality matches on the show. So you can all suck it.

Yeah, this is ridiculous. I want to stay around for a while, but with one show a month I don't know how long my interest will last.

If you signed up to write a match, you have had almost a month to get it done. Two weeks for the RP itself. Hectic week or not, it's not fair for one or two people to make ~15 others wait because they can't manage their time effectively. If you are too busy, don't volunteer to do it.

I said this before and I'll say it again.. I feel like weekly shows should have a RP deadline of 7-10 days, results up by the 14th day. That way you get about two shows a month. For PPVs I understand giving 14 days to RP because it is a 'bigger' event, but still, results should be up and the following card posted no later than the 21st day. We are almost at a month for this show and this board is pretty much dead. Maybe you guys need to set deadlines for matches too? I don't know.

Something has to be done about the turnover time though... We are here to roleplay, not matchplay. It shouldn't take the same amount of time or longer for results. I know personally I love to read everyone's RPs but I am not going to go through and read every match in the results, never have, even when I wrote almost every match back in the day myself. Don't care. Just want to see a winner, a loser, and what's next.

And I'll apologize once again. I had no idea I would be this busy when I agreed to write the match, it's been just one thing after the other for the past week as a few people around here know. I don't intend for it to happen again.

21 days is too long period. 1-2 days after deadline for normal shows, 3-4 days for ppvs. I have past experience running feds and knows what it goes into it. But this is a game that is meant to be fun and interesting. Waiting is not fun.

I really do like the people here, I am not trying to cause trouble with this. After this ppv, maybe the system needs to be re-addressed. I don't know if that means taking someone else on as staff or what but something needs to change.

I don't want to leave but I don't want to put effort into something such as this and see the results two weeks later.

I'm definitely going to have a conversation with Shawn about Match and Segment deadlines. This is my first pay per view as a owner, so I hope you can understand that I'm a bit new at this. We will address it, because clearly it is an issue.

We are in constant contact as we are friends on Facebook, and we have each other's cell phone numbers. This is a dual effort, it's just a few things were out of our control this time around. I'm literally waiting on one more segment which I'm being told should be to me in the the next hour and a half. The rest of the show is coded and ready to post, but this segment is kinda important.

I agree. Like I said before, I skim the matches but I read all of the segments. Anyway, I know we are still in a transition period and I think Ace has really stepped up to the plate and is doing a hell of a job. From what I have seen, Shawn has done a good job as well, even with board problems he currently is experiencing. But, there is a problem and they need to tweak it.

I feel Ace and Shawn should test the waters and try new things. If it doesn't work out then move on to the next idea or go back to the way it is. But with new owners should come new ideas and concepts. I know they are getting comfortable with everything, but if something isn't working they shouldn't be afraid to try new things. That's all I'm saying.

I've been eyeballs deep in Calculus and Chemistry. However, I just finished my finals today and so I might be able to write a match for the next show. Something new to try and such.
