April 25 2006
Effective immediately, WCWA Revolution on Versus Network has been cancelled.
As of the morning of April 25th 2006, WCWA Revolution has been cancelled. Versus Network originally signed the show to a 13 episode pilot season 10 weeks ago, with an immediate renewal for more episodes if the pilot season "succeeded". Unfortunately, despite ratings higher than most original programming on Versus, the network executives have deemed that Revolution did not, in fact, succeed and have pulled the plug on the show with three episodes remaining in the first contract.
WCWA management are disappointed with this decision and have rearranged our television schedule to fit a majority of the matches scheduled for Revolution tapings onto Synthetic. HBO has been more than understanding with us over our meetings with them this morning and has graciously allowed us additional time for the next several weeks as we need it.

alright, now real talk time. I've realized I'm writing at a MUCH slower pace than I used to. I just don't have the time I used to have to sit and write any more. So this is my attempt to keep my storylines progressing. Because WCWA was running 2 shows a week, Revolution and Synthetic both ended up with a certain amount of filler content, to fill out the main angles of the shows. There were also 7 or 8 shows between PPVs, rather than 4 or 5 which is frankly more than enough the way I build PPVs. I'm hoping this will help to make shows progress faster, because angles will progress faster.
I do have Synthetic 11 going as I have time. I'll also have some reviews up sometime.

It's sad to see Revolution stop, but this will get very interesting with more "big" matches on Synthetic.
