I voted black top-pink bottom. I closed my eyes and pictured him and this was the attire I visualized. I basically imagined him from Summerslam 92 (perhaps my all-time favorite match).

Either one of the Pink/Black combos. Although, later in his WWE run it was more of the all black. Either way I have an extra DM Bret and I ordered an extra Pink and Black Bret so I can have each version.

I like all versions, but I think pink top & black tights most.
Let me clarify that....I think the black top & pink tights is probably his most "Iconic"/famous combo/pairing, but personally I like the pink top & black tights the most.

 His iconic look is definitely the black top with pink tights. Which is strange, since we still haven't seen an accurate version of this attire yet, and in almost all the video games, he's depicted in his inverted pink top/black tights look (which is probably his next most iconic). I think around '96ish with HITMAN down the sides is the look I'm thinking of. The stars work, too. The great thing about Bret is that despite all his similar attires, he had several different versions of each one. I think Mattel should most definitely release the mid-90s black top/pink tights look at retail. The other one I feel is essential to do just because it hasn't really been done (Jakks did something similar in BnB) is the Survivor Series '96 look against Austin.  It's the attire with the hot pink flames and orange trim. He's not wearing it in the above picture, but that's the cool jacket he wore. |

i was thinking about this today too cuz i have 2 rse brets coming, one im probably using the trunks of one to make my non paint pink martel
so either i have 1 all pink bret, and one black tights-pink top bret
or
1 pink top-black tights and 1 black top-pink tights
i googled it today and i got a lot more pink tights black tops, jakks csdas are both pink bottom, the unmatched fury, 2 out of the 4 bca brets i seen are pink bottom black tops , ones the opposite and the others all pink...

yup, ive been planning that one for a while. Wont be long now .  Rick Martel and Bret Hart are the last on my list of Fix ups to do and they'll be done when i get my rse bret |

Yeah, the torso swap is something I thought we'd see soon after RSC Bret came out.

I've been playing around with the idea of getting another of each for a torso swap as well and I did just receive $75 from my in-laws yesterday so I'm thinking maybe I'll place another order.

Im going to say Pink on Pink...just for the fact that the one match that made me really realize that Bret Hart could be a big (singles) star was his match vs Piper at Wrestlemania VIII....Where he wore all pink.
