I think the face looks like him minus the age spots/freckles he had, but the sculpt is there.

I'm gonna have to pass....and I never pass lol. But the fig doesnt look that great and its not someone I'm really really interested in. I can't wait to get King Kong Bundy though.

I wish he would have had a serious headscan. I'll definitely be ordering him next week. It's not a headscan, it's a sculpt of how he looked 15 years ago DDP's face literally looks the exact same as it did then. Aside from a hair cut and the bigger teeth. |

Tattoos look great, the star is actually there (!!!), the jacket is awesome. The sculpt is usable, but not quite as great as I hoped. DDP is an instant buy for me, but I also wish there had been a little something extra with it. If he wasn't one of my all time favorite wrestlers, I could see passing on it.
Looking forward to one day having DDP and nWo Macho Man. What an excellent feud that was.

Those that are waiting to get him later may want to rethink that. Mattycollector has a history of removing the previous month's figures when the next months go on sale. They just changed Andre the Giant to sold out, and DDP goes on sale next week. I would guess that they will have DDP 'sell out' just before the next figure goes on sale.

I was never a DDP fan so this is an easy pass for me. Now if Mattel was smart and did a BAF with these then I would have no choice but to buy him, depending on who the BAF was. A belt would have been nice too.

It's not unheard of with MOTUC but until Andre, I've never seen them do that with WWE Mattels - the Rockers and the deluxe stands are still available right? |

you know what would've set this off, and made it a must buy for most people? big "steel" WCW letters. They'd need two molds, one for a W and one for a C, and just include 2 of the W's. It'd be great for collectors who want WCW set ups and entrance ways, because the metal WCW were basically the only thing that made the Nitro stage unique.

The face and hair is mostly all wrong, I don't think DDP was a slender and skinny as this figure leads him to be. I also prefered DDP in blue jeans and a sleeveless t-shirt or the vest. I was a big DDP fan back in the day. BANG!

I'm definitely picking this up, I'm a huge fan of the WCW Nitro days and DDP, this brings back memories. I do agree with what a lot of members are saying about his hair and beard color, but nothing a little paint can't fix lol.

Anybody else notice they raised the quantity purchase limit from 5 to 10. Both Andre and rockers were limit of 5. Now ddp is 10, wonder if that's a good or bad sign.

in none of those reference pics that Road Warrior Dubsker provided does his hair flop to the side of his forehead like it does on the Mattel figure. This is why it sucks.
