At least Trents debut figure gets a good accessory. Mark Henry figures really don't sell well enough 1 per case will make this pack move. a smart move would be for accounts like RSC is to make even packed cases so they get 2 sets. then at retail go with a different mix.

I have a question...I've been a wwe fan since 1995, and mostly watch Raw, get every ppv, and occasionaly watch SD. So here is my question, who is Trent Barretta? Same here, except I've been a fan since 1989. I have no idea who this guy is, and I could pick George South and Reno Riggins out of a lineup. That's not to say I wouldn't like him, but I watch Smackdown occasionally and have missed very few Raws since 1993 and have never seen him. To me, that speaks volumes about how WWE handles its non-main eventers. |

Add the stretcher in to the factor as well, definitely not a peg warmer. I hear ya on that :/ Plus with all the buzz about his figure, I'm sure that 'scalpers' are going to buy them up just to sell on the ol interwebz for a jacked up price. So what we need to do is stop talking about it, pretend it doesn't exist, and pretend that we have no interest in it. If I can find this pack, I'll probably buy three. I don't get the pairing of Trent and Mark Henry. When did these two last wrestle? I think it's based around the 0:30-0:40 mark here.. In general, Henry was killing of the Superstars roster with guys such as Johnny Curtis and Kozlov, and Barreta I guess fits that mold as explained here: This pack was planned when Henry just turned heel and was squashing lower card wrestlers. We thought this was a perfect opportunity to include a figure we would otherwise have had difficulty inlcuding in the line and picked one we found visually interesting. We are planning something else like this for an upcoming lineup but are not revealing it until it is written in pen and not pencil so to speak. I wonder if that "something else" is another Squash Match Pack with, oh say, Hawkins and Brodus Clay. Please? But heck. Trent is getting a figure, officially. And I am pumped. |
