Either AJ's wearing the same dress all weekend....or the live stream I watched of the WWE 12 videogame Superstar Challenge....wasnt really Live. She beat Tamina in like 1 minute. Than Daniel Bryan (who was playing against Justin Gabriel) gave his controller to AJ. She loses and he started yelling at her and stormed off. i luv kayfabe

I can't understand why the retail version of the ESR came with red ropes and their exhibit ESR has the much nicer white ropes. I'm probably wrong on this but didn't the RAW setup still use red ropes when the ESR came out? Or at least I think they probably switched to white right before it was released. Could be wrong. Perhaps that is a good sign of things to come, but I doubt it. It's funny that Mattel will tell you that the sales for that ring were unsucessful yet, almost every board member here that has an arena display, or just even a ring has the ESR. RSC does figure reviews in the ESR, and there are a lot of people here who still want an ESR. Now Mattel themselves are using the ESR for a display piece. No offense, but what a bunch of hypocrits. I love how the TLC set shows all Elite figures on the box, like that POS was supposed to make a great substitute for the ESR, and yet they are going to use the ESR because it is the best ring ever made. Unbelievable... Tangent over. To be fair, 'almost every member' on here probably doesn't count for much in terms of numbers for Mattel. I'm guessing that a lot of parents who buy figures for their kids probably didn't jump at the chance to buy them a ring which cost like 3 or 4 times as much as the basic one. I don't think there are many places where you can still find an ESR brand new, but for all we know there could still be several shipments worth gathering dust in one of Mattel's warehouses. Other than that, why shouldn't they be able to use the ESR in their display? They're aiming to make people look at those figures and say, 'wow, I gotta buy those!'. With that goal in mind, are they going to go all-out and display multiple figures in a huge, detailed recreation of the ring - or do they cheap out and cram a handful of figures into a cheap, tiny ring? |
