actually, swapping the heads betwen jakks & matty will pretty much make both perfect. No it wouldn't cause this head scan is 100x better than Jakks Yokozuna scan. If you swapped the heads you would have a Mattel elite body with a crappy Jakks Yoko head and a crappy Jakks Yoko body with a outstanding Yoko head... The figures would be a lot worse off then imo. Only cause i like Elite articulation and love this head scan Mattel used so a swap would be wasteful here.

thanks for the pics. can I ask do you think the skintone would match up OK for putting the Mattel head on the Jakks one (or vice versa)? Jakks Yoko is darker than mattel's, but you just may be able to do it if you really insist but once you see the Mattel one in person, its not worth taking that ugly Jakks head and throwing it on Mattel's body imo. Idk i just never liked the Jakks Yoko at all.

They both look like crap, lol
The proportions on them are just really bad, the new ones would be better if his head and arms were scaled better.
Edit: Looking at pics of him, the head itself is fine, it's the neck that has the most issues, his giant head on that long, thin neck don't work.
And his arms are the biggest problem. Too short and too thin.

Too short and too thin. works for me lol I love the figure in my collection. I cant believe how massive he is compared to the other superstars on my display. Playing around with him a little bit i found that they didn't use the waste articulation on this figure, they used the new ab articulation so he can bend forward and twist all in the same joint. You cant twist Yoko all the way around though. He's so fat his legs don't come forward that far either. So i guess all in all thats my only gripe with this now is his fatness takes from the articulation a little bit. Head scan looks outstanding, the body looks great the more i look at it, even the arms are not that big of a bother.

He looks great! I'd say the Mattel version is a hell of a lot better. I like that his head is "big" so they say. It adds to the figure - makes it look better.

The head looks too big mainly because the jakks head is tiny, but the ridiculously small chest and arms on the mattel do help. This is a fine example that in Mattels world, even 500 plus pounders can have anorexic arms.

Looks good in the robe but man I gotta saw that Mattel body mold is just awful. The arms and neck are WAY too skinny. I think the Mattel has a better head scan but the body is overall better on Jakks. Big Yoko fan I have the Jakks but think I'll be passing on this one.

The head is really huge and the arms don't look right to me, so its going to be a easy pass for me. I already have the ringfest Jakks Yoko which to me looks more accurate in body size, but I will say this Mattel's Yoko headscan looks way better than Jakks. Thanks for the images and enjoy your pickup!

Idk i just never liked the Jakks Yoko at all. thanks for the info. 99% of my collection is RA style so i intend to keep it that way so all my figures look right together, but i think i'll stick the Mattel Yoko head on my Jakks Yoko body since the new scan is much better in my opinion. and people saying the new yoko head is too big, remember the Jakks one was undersized, so the comparison pics make the mattel one seem larger than it actually is. plus don't forget, when people put on a lot of weight, it makes their head/neck/chin appear bigger. so if you imagine the mattel yoko head on a 6'4" skinnier mattel body and imagine the fat rolls on his neck aren't there it would probably be about the right size. if that makes sense.

Yoko's head looks big without standing next to the Jakks one. The head is GIGANTIC. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves. He literally looks like he could swallow Bret's head in those pics with him next to the Hitman.
Disappointed in the fact that his tights aren't molded either. Kinda weak.
All that said, I still plan on getting him. Gonna look boss once I do the head swap.
The Mattel head sculpt does look better, but it's a moot point when it's scaled for a 1/6 figure lol. I'd do a head shrink, but it's too much work when the Jakks one will do in a pinch.
Not sure what can be done about the arms, I think they look okay from the side, it's the front angle that makes them look so scrawny. I think the Jakks Yoko arms are too big as well.
Thus far only Hasbro has properly scaled a Yoko figure, haha.

Neck is too skinny. I think that is making the head look HUGE.

I haven't read all of the comments in here, but just want to say...
I think you need to have this figure in person to really appreciate it. I got it today and I think it's 1 of Mattel's best.
I thought it looked funny in pics too.
The figure is amazingly good.

Still going to get mine but I don't think I'll be displaying it without the robe anytime soon. I'm a little disappointed with the scale. The arms look ridiculous on such a massive frame, the head is gigantic, and from the side-on it appears that they only added bulk to the front side of the figure. His back looks like that of an average-sized figure and his neck is way too long and thin. This is all before mentioning that he stands almost as tall as Undertaker in those photos, despite being billed as over half a foot shorter than him.
Really quite disappointed with the attention paid to his proportions, but as I said I'm still going to buy it because it's Yokozuna and I'll just leave the robe on him.

Its a very very impressive figure. Unfortunately seeing it alone, the head is a little oversize from the front and the arms could have been thicker but otherwise its a brilliant figure. The jakks version was very odd, much prefer the mattel one even though he appears a bit leaner.
