That's fine, but I still don't think it's fair to shun people to the spoiler board which has absolutely zero activity whatsoever. If people want to discuss spoilers, they should be allowed to do it here a long as they mark them. See, that I disagree with, as well. For all of the people that discuss the rumors/spoilers in the threads on this board... that would easily drive the flow of the Spoiler Room. I just get annoyed that people will enforce a rule now, but 2 weeks from now... they won't even bother. Inconsistency is my gripe. Banning or warning someone for doing something people have been doing on these forums for at least 5 years... with no action being taken. Also love how admins can talk down to members and tell them to "SHUT UP"... yet us "normal" members get warning bars for the exact same thing. Haha I don't agree that it would flow activity over to the spoiler room. You'd just get the same thread over there with four replies, and then sixteen topics here with "PERSON RUMORED FOR WRESTLEMANIA" which will all get locked. No one posts on the spoiler board, I would bet no one even knows its there, just get rid of it.

You figure all those talking about the rumored talent to appear tomorrow night. Take that news to the Spoiler Room. If they're THAT interested in knowing what's going to happen that hasn't been announced... they'd be willing the check that board more often and engage in the discussion. Thus, creating more activity and traffic over there.
I don't even think the titles of "SPOILER Possible return for former champion?" should be allowed. Spoiler is in the title. So there should be no reason they can't just post it in the Spoiler Room.
However, if this rules isn't continually enforced (as I fully expect it won't)... then to be safe, members should try to avoid this board during heavy rumor times. Like Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, etc.
I'm in the bunch that LOVES being surprised, so going in fresh is ideal. However, rumors don't bother me as 99% of the time they're incorrect. Either way, I just hope they keep up with spoilers going in the Spoiler Room.

The spoiler board is dead, it's a rotting festering corpse at the bottom of the forum along with the backyard fed board (do people even still do that anymore?) the UFC boards, or the figure feds board. Nothing is going to be able to breathe life into it, people just aren't going to bother to go there.

It should be enforced all the time, and I would like to see Shocker do that. We can't all be on all the time, and sometimes these threads come and go before we notice them. But please feel free to report any spoilers posted in the WWE board, and we will move them to the spoiler room where they belong.
And as far as me saying Shut Up, I did it because Max Moves has a long history of being a pretentious ass who goes around telling everyone (including admins) what they should or shouldn't be doing as if he has some sot of authority like his opinion is always the right and correct one, when he is actually quite often wrong.

Hey, I don't mean to be a jerk, pretentious maybe, but it's not usually intentional. I've got tons of PMs in my box from Jack thanking me for pointing out people with obnoxious signatures, people with rude or inappropriate posts, and other crap. I understand that you guys can't be everywhere all the time, and I know this isn't the thread to vent, so I won't, but I definitely think this is a board that needs multiple mods if we want to enforce the rules.

I do agree that most people are just going to assume they're the first to report it (which we all know WF members LOVE thinking they were the first) and post it anyway.
I dunno... for me, it's a wait and see what happens type of deal. Didn't work too well when I moderated the TNA board and that had/has far less traffic. Spoilers are always going to seep through the cracks when the mods and admins are asleep/away.

Honestly, I don't think you can go to any wrestling "news" site right now and not see the same spoilers posted on the headline of their main page.
Not defending either way. Just making a point.

Shouldn't that give you a hint that people generally don't like spoilers? Exactly.

Anyway, this discussion has gone as far as necessary, botom line, don't post spoilers, or be warned.
