Sorry to make another thread lol
But this was the last major point of Raw that didn't seem to have a discussion thread about
So yeah, The Rock is gone now, he's off to make more movies for who knows how long, but he did say he wants to be WWE Champ 1 more time
If he is to be WWE Champ, it will have to be in down time between movies, he can't win the title with this schedule, he'll need to be back for a run if they're planning on putting the belt on him somewhere down the line.
So what do you think of "The Rock's dream"?

Could be HUGE. I hope it happens and he comes back for a little while. I think he may come back for a bit longer here and there now. Maybe WWE will do Cena wins the rumble and rock is champ.

Lesnar beats Cena, then challenges Punk to be "best in the world". Then it's Rock vs. Brock for the title at Summer Slam.

Brock ultimately wins the WWE championship from Punk in the summer (would be an awesome feud) then The Rock returns to face Lesnar for a rematch from Summerslam '02, 10 years later! Will not happen, but a guy can dream. Edit - Hacker just posted the same thing above me  This is awkward.. |

That was another interesting thing that happened tonight, Rock mentioning in his promo that he'll be on his way to becoming WWE Champion one more time, Could we see one more run from the so called Great One? If Rock is actually willing to appear and defend the WWE Title for a few months against WWE's current big names then yes WWE do it... But if Rock defends the Title via satellite then he can leave now.

The thing that will be so great now, and I hope they have it go dark on future appearances, is he can show up at anytime, anywhere and interrupt the current champ to challenge. That is what I feel from this and it's going to be amazing. ROCK VS BROCK II AT SSLAM, book it NOW.
And hey, why can't the "WWE champion The Rock" be appearing in movies, he can mix in both worlds.

I think if he wins it again, it will be similar to Hogan's final run with the Undisputed Championship. A short run with few appearances. The Rock will never be back full time, and I am okay with that, but I don't think he should hold the title for an extended period if he isn't going to commit to being back on a weekly basis.
I would love to see Punk v. Rock at Summer Slam where Rock wins, but Punk comes back and regains the title at Night of Champions or something.

I am starting to think this will be how we get Rock/Cena II at Wrestlemania next year.Before the year is out after Cena is done feuding with Lesnar he ends up winning the WWE Title.The Rock returns and wins the Royal Rumble match to set up rematch against Cena for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania.
Or hell you can flip flop my idea and have Rock win the title before the year is out and have Cena's journey back to the top happen with him winning the Royal Rumble in '13 to set up a rematch at Wrestlemania.Were he get his win back and the WWE Title.

Only if he actually shows up every week and competes. I do not want to see him with the WWE title if he can only be bothered to show up at a few PPV's...I mean, I don't really want to see him with it at all (there are more than enough active wrestlers who still deserve a run), but if need be, he'd better wrestle at Raw, Smackdown, house shows; the whole shebang.

SummerSlam - 6 man WWE Title Elimination match The Rock vs. John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho vs. Triple H Now that would be awesome -I wouldn't mind seeing The Rock hold the strap, but probs for like a day if he isn't in a proper contract. |
