Didn't take this, but check this one out.. real old school: The one in my town still looks like that, I believe, although I think the top is blue instead of brown. Haven't been in it forever.

And here's a map of how close it is to the mall (mall is whole lower right side):

While traveling recently, I thought it was kind of interesting how different some of these stores are.. 1980's version (Pineville, NC): 1990's version (Concord, NC): Didn't take this, but check this one out.. real old school: note: I don't know if these are from the 80's or 90's but that's what they look like to me. lol. What does yours look like? The first one/the 80's one is actually not from the 80s. The bottom one is the older one, I would say that one is the 80's store. I know this only because a store near me looked like the bottom one/brown roof until the remodled and gave it the first look with the tiles.. Also the bottom one is the one I remember as a kid in the 80's. The closest one to me looks like the first/the one you say is 80's Although of all those looks I know where there is one around me.

^The brown roofed one is definitely the oldest. Not sure about the others.

This is the look I remember from when I was a kid. Brings back a lot of memories. Same here...makes me think of when I got my NES and my first bicycle. The two I go to look closest to Ben's. One of them closed for a few months a couple of years ago to be modernised...while it was closed, this was the temporary store: It was awesome.

Didn't take this but I'm pretty sure this is it. To bad it sucks and never has anything.

This is the one closest to my house (that I hate because they never put anything new on the shelves). I don't think it says Babys R Us on the outside of it anymore. Will have to look at it next time I go in.

Opened last year, haven't been there yet. Was easier when it was inside the mall and I could just slide in and take a quick look while walking around.

the closest Toys R Us to me most resembles the 80s Version. But it's no where near local

Terrible picture, but here's mine: Very boring design...the one I use to go to as a kid (Reading, PA) had a much more interesting design.

This is my local TRU Long Island? Looks very much like the one I went to when I was growing up.

My nearest one, I havnt been there for about 2 years... Only pic I could find lol. Sealand road? That's the closest to me too. Stopped collecting years ago so I havn't been inside for agaes. Awesomeness, I hardly see figures around here so I pretty much stopped collecting with Mattel. Although if I do see a figure I like somewhere I might buy it. I'm sure this TRU has stuff now, but I'm not bothered to go and look. Still my favourite TRU I've been to. TRU Florida Mall - Orlando I remember that place when I was there, was sick bro.

That 80s version looks very close to mine up in Merrillville, IN. Several years ago, my ex and I went to her local TRU an hour or two away from me, and hers looked like that old school one at the bottom. They had CS20 Ric Flair there. I left a happy man.
