That 1980s version looks almost identical to the one that was in Duluth. Of the two I've traveled to in the cities, one uses that logo and one uses the newer 90s one.

This is the one closest to my house (that I hate because they never put anything new on the shelves). I don't think it says Babys R Us on the outside of it anymore. Will have to look at it next time I go in. That looks familiar. That was one is pretty bad. I never see anything new there and if they do out something out, it will be gone by the time I get there.

there are 3 TRUs I frequently go to...all look different. ill get a few pics of them next time i make the rounds.
however two definitley looks like the first one you posted Juice...your "80's" one. another looks like the actual 80's one with the brown front
its amazing how many different styles TRU has. you'd think with a company charging as much as they do for product they would be able to modify all their stores to reflect a nicer, cleaner look

Went there today, they have Elite 14 (display). About the signage... I was thinking about it.. this one used to have the huge TOYS R US sign across the front.. the Babies R Us part is new... and YES, I hate this store.

Holy nostalgia, Batman! The brown roof Toys R Us stores bring back so many memories of being a kid! I remember when Toys R Us stores weren't really common in my area during the 90s and I always had to beg my parents to take me to a neighboring town that had a brown roof Toys R Us. It has since been remodeled and is now blue with no "roof" design anymore. Today, I have 5 Toys R Us stores within my distance and all of them are modernized.

The one I go to is pretty big and clean and has that mid 90's look. What they have inside is a different story.

This is my local TRU in Youngstown. This is the look I remember from when I was a kid. Brings back a lot of memories. Yup! Boardman!

Mine looks like what you said is the 80's version, although I think it's actually from the 90's. Mine also has no Rainbow patterns across the opening, and it's connected to a mall but has it's own entrance (and indoors entrance too). **EDIT** Found what seems to be the complete Logo History www.toysrusinc.com/about-us/history/logo/Mine has the 97 design/logo.

I have one near me,but its very different and awkward looking, because it sits on a corner. I like the one in Times Square. It has a ferris wheel inside and I believe the whole store is 6-7 stories.

I didn't take the picture but here's the local TRU. It looks so cold. It looks like some sort of haunted/evil TRU you would have seen in the old GooseBumps Episodes.

It is indeed evil as it drags in me in twice every week in hopes of finding new stuff only to leave empty handed 95% of the time. Here's a better picture where it doesn't look so bad.

My old one used to have a Joe Muggs Coffee/Books-A-Million attached to it. They moved last year to a brand new building in this huge plaza called Bridgestreet that's like and outdoor mall with a movie theater, restaraunts, stores, and a few huge stores like TRU and Sports Authority.

Irish equivalent to Toys R' Us. It has new figures a whole lot of the time and still brings in jakks sometimes too.
