Interesting effort, Mass.
Did you lose your other camera or something? The picture quality here seems way worse than your usual stuff.
I'll be honest, it didn't really feel like "ECW" to me. More like the new ECW than the old ECW.
The commentary and stuff needs tightening up. Same issue I had with CWE, although you use a lot less text, so it's not as big of a problem.
Good assortment of matches and I did like some of the stuff in both the cage match and the main event.
Kinda confusing how Raven won the main event. This is the problem with not making it clear on when there's a count or whatnot. Generally production values need to improve. I could be more forgiving if I thought you were super poor or something, lol, but you constantly keep getting new figures and stuff. Might be time to spend a little on upping the production.
Disappointed that I went through the trouble of making you a DZW logo and you scrapped that fed for ECW? Oh well...
I did like the mention of past history, even if it's made up history. It helps fill in the gaps some. Keep it up, nowhere to go but up from here. Good job.

Not liking the production value, hoping that changes going forward.
The roster was oddly mismatched, not in a good way.
I like that you included sone high profile drug addicts, but not enough for my liking, this is supposed to be an ECW show.
The action in the ring really did not hold my attention at all, and a few times I was left scratching my head especially when Rhodes and DiBiase decided to climb out of the cgae when all they had to do was slide through the ropes on the section without a cage wall?
I had high hopes for Raven vs Funk, but the absence of fire, and light sticks really ruined it for me. Really wish you would have shown what exactly led to Ravens victory.
All in all I appreciate the effort.

New show; should be interesting. The image quality looks a tad bit odd, grainy. I’m seeing some very interesting poses. For me, that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be brm, it’s just when you manage to pose a figure in a way that looks neat, even when it’s a simple pose. I love DA’s, by the way, and I love you are using these in an era of Mattel feds. Not crazy for any of the characters in your first match, but I’m loving the posing, man. Second match, RAs, yet still, neat posing! Lol, you know what? I’m getting used to the grainy photography, starting to feel like part of the show. Is it? We gotta cage! Is it supposed to have an open side, or are you getting the photo angle too wide? Sorry, just my OCD there. Interesting, we’ve seen Das, RAs and now a mix of both. Love how it’s like watching two matches at the same time! Wow, yet another match? Longer than expected, Raven and Funk! Love the spot with the ladder lodged between the ring and the barrier. Very impressive, man! Kudos!

It always makes sense to remove one wall when filming a cage match, but you have to try to zoom in so it doesn't show in the pictures. Yes, you will have considerable size restraints, but it won't look like they are fighting inside an open cage.

Not bad, has potential. As has been said, production value was a little low.
The only thing that really bothered me though was how funk got up so quickly, not realistic at all.
Look forward to seeing more. Especially when you add those customs you want me to make.

Hey Masspick, so glad that you've finally gotten your new fed up and running. And just like with NPWL, you're kicking them out pretty fast (which I love) The pic quality needs to be improved, but I'm okay with it bc I'm just assuming this is a low-rent restart of ECW and they don't have the TNA/WWE budget for HD cameras. For future shows, you should double check your spelling/grammar (I make the same mistake too tho)
Good quick match with Desmond Wolfe vs Amazing Red, good poses. Another good quick match with Snitsky vs Evan Bourne. I liked the Cage Match between Legacy & Team 3D, there were a few blurry pics, and when Cody picked up Brother Ray for what seems like a power bomb, the next pic Cody hits him with a DDT.
I assume that there's only 3 sides of the cage cuz with 4 you wouldn't be able to get pics w.o. a cage in the way, but I'd have a storyline reason for why there's only 3 sides. I don't get why Cody/Ted would try to escape over the cage when they have a whole side of the ring they can just get out thru. Also I'd have a quick sentence by one of the announcer explaining the rules to the cage match; Pin/Submission/Escape by climbing out of the cage. Cuz when Ted/Cody got out of the cage and the match ended I was like "Oh, I guess it was escape the cage rules?" And unfortunately a Horrible looking 3D on Ted. But the match was fun.
I liked the backstage segment with Lundrick & the Hardys. I know I will see Ted, and yes it seems like Family Guy in real life, but I also think Community/30 Rock is Fam Guy in real life and I like those two shows. Good that you built a match for your next show. Lundrick vs Hardys in a Cage Match, Winner goes on to face Legacy in a #1 Contender's match where the winners will go on to challenge the ECW Tag-Team Champions Beer Money!
I'd have a reason for all these Cage Matches, if there's no reason for them then they're not special. Seems like you're just throwing gimmick matches out there for the sake of having gimmick matches.
My fav match was the main event: Raven vs Terry Funk for the Hardcore Championship. This was the longest match of the night, and the best in my opinion. I think you tend to shine when you make longer matches. My top two fav spots of the match were Raven coming off the top rope missing an elbow drop onto the ladder. Just when I thought the match couldn't get more crazy Raven hits a splash off the top of the ladder onto Terry Funk who's lying on a table full of broken glass. Great ending to a pretty good match.
Your vision of ECW doesn't really feel like the original ECW of the 90's, but more of a WWE version with some indy/TNA/ROH talent. Not a complaint, just my thoughts. I like how you use turnbuckle pads with this fed. But I think it hurts that your matches lack a ref, and pin counts. You tend to just end your matches with some invisible force administering law/order.
I like your setup, ignoring the bedroom backdrop, I enjoy your crowd set up. If I were you I'd try to put the figs with t-shirts and clothing more in the front, cuz I've never seen shirtless men in an audience.
Overall I really enjoyed this show. Worth the long wait since NPWL ended. Now, onto Ep. 2!

Ok, I've been meaning to check out this new ECW fed, and I finally have a little time to do that. First off, I don't know how to feel about Wolfe automatically having this huge win streak off camera. It just feels weird to be told that someone is great, without developing that identity through his actions. It's not that big of a deal, but just something I would rather see than be told about. Amazing Red vs. Wolfe should be a great match. Well, that ended quick. The first match we see in this new ECW is done in about 3 moves. It does push Wolfe as huge force, but I would have liked to see more of a showcase of what to expect from the first match. Hopefully, squash matches are not what we can expect. I did really like your use of string though, and your poses were pretty impressive. Snitsky vs. Bourne was a nice match but it was pretty short again. I really liked that uranagi backbreaker though. Snitsky in ECW makes this seem a lot like the WWECW show, which from your promos seems to be exactly what you're not going for, but maybe your Snitsky character will be different. And speaking of odd roster choices, here's legacy. I do like that you're doing a cage match, as I haven't seen them done very often in figure feds. Some of the action in the cage was a bit confusing, like how Rhodes has Bubba up for a piledriver, and then the next pic is him connecting with a DDT. Another short match, and Dibiase seemed to just no-sell the 3D. I mean, the second after they hit it, he just low blows Bubba and climbs the cage. Also, I thought for sure the cage match would be the main event. It's odd to just have a cage match in the middle of the card and just have it blown off like that. I'm also kind of confused that there's a hardcore champion in ECW, as every match in ECW was under No DQ rules. I do like that you have an actual crowd though, that's cool. The hardcore match was nice, and I enjoyed the level these two took it to, but I didn't feel connected to what was happening throughout the whole show, as far as the match ups. I mean, you had a backstory set up, but I felt disconnected to it because it was all implied. I mean, this is the first show. You could have built the match ups around crowning a champion or proving something to Paul Heyman, instead of mentioning Austin as your champ and not even showing him on the first show. Overall, I am very excited for this fed as this board can use all the active feds possible, and to see how you build this brand. I will say you are off to a rocky start, but I'm sure you'll get the feel for what you're doing and it'll all start falling into place as you put out more shows. I'll keep tuning in, and I think you already have 2 more shows up, so I need to get caught up here!
