HULK HOGAN...acted like he couldn't be bothered by anyone. Yet his family was happy to be around everyone.

Everyone's heard about Batista being a complete a$$ clown, so I'll just say it. He surely is.
Shannon Moore was really insincere when I met him at a TNA show. He's definitely a guy I would suggest being more appreciative...the only reason he gets in the Big 2 is because he's a Hardy tag-along.
Overall, though, I've had some really great interactions with lots of guys. Sheamus was, without question, one of, if not the nicest guy I've ever met. Jesse Neal is up there too.

Dawn Marie, what a let down that meeting was. Shannon Moore really wasn't rude but he did just walk by me and several others that wanted to meet him without saying a word during a show.

well if he doesnt want to be perceived as a dickhead canty he just say "im sorry I cant talk now" instead of just ignoring them like they were not there. Because after all he would probably be a Chicago hobo if not for the fans But you don't understand how much of a dick some fans are to him. He's had fans poke him in the back to get attention, He's had fans actually remove his headphones them self, just to talk to him. When you get stuff like that, It's no wonder he tries to distance himself from people.. especially when it's his own private time. Anyway to be on topic, Most wrestler I've met have been pretty nice. Sandman was the worst though, He just grunted along when I asked him to sign my item, and he wouldn't even stand up for the picture. Sabu didn't even look up to anyone but he did stand up for pictures. but what about the nice fans who just say hi to him? you know the ones who dont do all of that stuff he doesnt have to ignore them like I think he honestly is a bitter antisocial prick

I met Sheamus last month
He was very nice and pretty shy
he shook my hand and signed my WHC
I asked him if this is the first time he was in Australia and if he liked it?
I was the 2nd last guy in line and he seamed tired and had a monotone reply to my questions, I wouldnt blame him, I would be dead after signing 400 autographs.
when I was about to leave I told him "Good luck at Wrestlemania Sheamus, I hope you win the title"
and he smiled as his cheeks turned pink and said "oh thank ya! oh ha! thank ya alot fella!!"
in an surprised upbeat voice, unlike his montone answers he gave me seconds before.
it was like as if I injected him with a shot of caffeine or something by telling him Good Luck
lol wtf

I don't blame Punk for not engaging in conversation with fans out in the street or whatever because when he stops to say Hi, Lots of people will just bug him for autographs or pictures, and CM Punk doesn't want to do them all the time like that.

Sunny.
I've told the story on here at least a dozen times but another time won't hurt. In 2001 I was 14 years old and was being trained to wrestle by a family friend. One weekend my trainer, his wife, my trainer's friend who was also a wrestler (we'll call him James for the story), and Sunny came to a boat club bar my dad was a member of. Chris Candido was working in Japan and Sunny was having an affair with "James" and was not trying to hide it very well. She was pretty open about their screwing.
Anyway, when I was introduced to her she was pretty friendly until she saw my ECW shirt and had an expression of disgust. My sister, who was in college at the time, showed up a little while later and her and I were sort of play fighting ala pretending to punch each other's arms and stuff while laughing the entire time. Next thing I know Sunny punches me as hard as she can on my arm. When I turn to her to see why she did it she says "You NEVER hit a woman." Clearly my sister and I were goofing off but Sunny must have saw something different?
The rest of the night she looked like she didn't want to be there. She would look at other people in this bar and shake her head in disgust. Eventually she asked "James" to leave and they did. A month later Candido was back and "James" never spoke to her again until this past weekend at WM when he attended the HOF.

Brock Lesnar, I went to an autograph signing in NYC in 2005 and I asked him to sign a photo of him botching a moonsault against Kurt Angle where he fractured his vertebrate at Wrestlemania 19 in 2003. He gave me a pretty pissed off look, Grabbed the photo, ripped it into pieces and threw it in my face, I was like F U bunghole and as I was about to walk away he grabbed my arm turned me around picked me up and F5'ed me threw the table he was signing autographs at! I laid there unconscious for about 5 minutes, when I woke up. I realized a bunch of people were hovering over me and one spectator came up to me and said "Are you ok" and I said yeah I'll be fine as soon as I go to the doctor and check if I have cracked ribs as that table felt like a brick wall. I asked him where that jacked son of a betch went and he said after I got f5'ed he grabbed his sheet and left. Then I realized I had a autographed picture that said "Here come's the Pain" next to me. So he must have felt bad he did that to me. A few day later, I go to the doctor for a check up and he tells me have a cracked rib and a concussion, one of the most painful experiences in my life. But seriously, what a ing dickhead

Unless you are at a signing or other fan event I wouldn't dream of approaching any of the wrestlers. Their private life and their private time belongs to them.
Also the wrestlers have good reason for trying to avoid fans without security around. There are ALOT of crazy stalker random lunatics out there who would go far beyond harrassing them and may even attempt to harm them. I can't say I blame them for taking that measure of protection for themselves. All it would take is one guy or gal to come up pretending for an autograph, photo or handshake to turn around and stick a knife in them or some crazyness like that.
Also if you are going to a signing or something there are some things that wrestlers will not sign. Torrie Wilson refuses to sign her playboy pictures for example. You should take note of things like that before you go.

I think people misconceive being introverted with being rude. Simply because someone is on TV does not make them socially outgoing. Some of the greatest public speakers in history have been incredibly introverted. You can't expect every wrestler or celebrity to make it their mission for you to feel like their BFF. Think about this, if you walked around all day and complete strangers kept coming up to you and trying to talk you might not enjoy it. Now throw in that it happens every day, it happens all day, and you will forever be judged by that 10 second interaction. I just went to the store for groceries, something I never would think twice about, now if I was a wrestler and someone saw me they'd try to read as much into it as they could, absurd no? "Oh man he was so rude, he seemed like he didn't even want to talk, what a dick." Are you kidding me? I was just trying to pick up milk, that's not indicative of my actual personality.
The Jerry Lawler story? Rude.
The CM Punk hoody down story? Just a guy trying to go about his day. You've got to understand you're not the only person who did that to him that day and by his own admission he's not a socially out going guy.
It's in our nature to try to read into so much about our brief interactions with celebrities, but we've got to fight it. I'm a huge hockey fan. Once I was at the Capitals practice facility while the team was on the road. I'm leaving and I hold the door open and this guy walks by me on his cell phone, I honestly did a double take, Alex Ovechkin. I had forgotten he was hurt at the time and didn't travel with the team. Naturally I tried to catch whatever pieces of his convo I could and I heard him talking about "last night". Now he could have been talking about dinner but he has a party boy reputation so I let my mind run with that until I realized how dumb that was. I caught a 3 second part of a convo and I was running with it? Stupid. Don't do that.
Funny side note. This guy walked into a building that has his face plastered everywhere, people with his jerseys on, etc. and he pretty much walked past everyone without them noticing. I guess with some people you only recognize celebrities when you're looking for them.

The wrestlers I met seemed to all be pretty nice but some of them were better than others. The worst I can think of was my most recent with Dolph Ziggler, even though I can't blame him. It was a couple weeks ago after the MSG show. Me and Dolph are walking into the MSG parking garage next to each other. I was nervous and I just wanted to tell him I was a fan. Just when I turned to say something to him, his bodyguard walking in between us and gave me a dirty look.
At a TNA house show, Christopher Daniels and Austin Aries were mean but they were in character mean. My brother had one of Don West's brown bags for everyone to sign since we were expecting a signing and he had nothing else. Austin Aries sees the bag and says "Oh great! Another signed sack!" Then we move on to Daniels and he goes "From this point on you guys are only getting my initials and a random phone number!" All the heels signing were purposely being mean except for Gail Kim. She was super nice and posed for photos with fans even though security was yelling that there wouldn't be posed photos. Then she thanked each person for coming and told them to enjoy the show. James Storm also looked really sincere when he thanked us for coming out to the show.
I had a weird moment with Darren Young at Mohegan Sun. Earlier in the morning I met Jericho at a signing and he was really trying hard to actually start conversations with people which was cool. Then later in the night I was walking back to the hotel room with my friends when we see Darren Young walk by with his Dragon Ball Z hair. I turned around and said "Hey did you guy just see Darren Young walk by?" Then I turned back around and Heath Slater and Skip Sheffield were standing right there. Heath and Skip stopped to shake our hands and were really happy to get noticed. Upon seeing this Darren Young jogs back over to shake our hands. He wasn't mean or anything but he seemed really exhausted.
The staff at Ringside Fest kind of hurt a Daniel Bryan meeting. I ordered a set of tickets for my brother and myself and for some reason RSC sent me tickets for an extra set of autographs. So I decided I would get a Macho King figure and have each guy sign it for my friend at work. First up was Ryder. He signed a pic for me and took a pic with me. He looked at the Macho King for a few seconds and made a comment like "I gotta get this." Then I go over to Daniel Bryan's table. I hand the girl my 8x10 and Macho King to get signed along with my 2 autograph tickets. She gives Daniel Bryan my 8x10 and hands me back Macho King with my second autograph ticket. Daniel was cool and posed for a picture so I didn't want to start anything. Later, we got to meet Punk who was awesome.
First up was my brother. As my brother goes up Punk catches a glimpse of himself wrestling Daniel Bryan during the Royal Rumble. He started staring at the screen and asking when this was from. Then after someone told him it was from the Rumble, he turned back around and signed the 8x10 for my brother and said "I'm loosing my f***ing mind!" Then I went up. He signed the 8x10 while making some small talk. Then, he picks up the Macho King and starts staring at it from different angles. He says to me "This is cool. Who else signed this?" I told him Zack Ryder signed it and then in a joking tone he says "Oh I see. So I guess now I'm supposed to sign it." Then I said thanks and told him it was for a guy at work and Punk says "Tell him I said hi."

Gail Kim and Samoa Joe were some of the nicest I met, We were pretty low on money at that point so I couldn't afford an autograph so I was just getting a picture with them but I had also just bought some 8x10 for $2 to hang in my room and when Gail and Joe asked if I had them for them to sign I said no and said why so they said its alright and signed it anyways. They were pretty cool. Kurt Angle wasn't that bad either. When I approached him he shook my hand, asked me how I was etc.

Benoit, the first time I met him, was a complete ass. Though the second time I met him, he was a really nice guy, just kinda shy. Edge is the nicest guy I've met by far, followed by Jericho.

Abraham Washington completely ignored me at a FCW show a while ago. I was gonna ask if I could get a picture with him. No one was approaching him or anything... he was standing there by himself doing nothing. He pretty much just turned the other way as I was approaching him, making it clear he wanted nothing to do with me. I thought it was rude.
The Miz, Christian, Daniel Bryan, Curt Hawkins, Brodus Clay, Mason Ryan were all excepionally nice people when I met them.
