I decided to make this poll because we are nearing the end of this round with these BOPPV figures and I just want to get your thoughts on this line. I know that, like me, alot of you are still trying to complete these sets but I think most of us have seen enough to give an informed opinion.
I personally like the idea and I would like to see it continue. However I think better case assortments need to happen this time. Mattel Either needs to put 2 of each guy in one case, or make 1 case all the same figure and then have a different case the next month with the next figure, and so on.
I know that we are supposedly getting different case assortments that'll have more Bret, and Bryan, but if my TRU is clogged with Cenas I don't see why TRU would order more cases of these.
Other than the usual crappy case assorments and overpacking this set was awsome, and I hope to see more in the future.

Personally, I enjoyed the "hunt" a lot this time. Even though I drove to TRU more than I would normally. I left a few times empty handed, too. Overall, it was really a fun way to collect figures that I would normally collect. I say, keep them coming!

Yes, otherwise Mattel wouldn't have released Michael Cole.
I hope the next series, it will be J.R.

I hope the next series, it will be J.R. i passed on michael cole and the 4 figures from this line but i'd have to get a JR. so i'd be all in if it was a good ol' JR.

I love the series. But hate the distribution. Still can't find Bret.

I voted "No" because I didn't like chasing down Hart.
I get the appeal of BaF. It's a great way to move some extra units while still offering a character that otherwise might not be produced. It's just not for me at this stage in my collecting life. I had no interest in Cole, and even less interest in increasing TRU's foot traffic. In fact, I am more likely to buy items elsewhere instead of buying them from TRU.
On a side note, Mattel & TRU really seem to be into these gimmicky-type things. Want Vince? Buy four other figures first! Want Michael Cole? How does shelling out around $80 for him sound? Want a backstage area? You got it, as long as you buy another Cena & Mysterio!
Sounds pretty crazy, but it's my opinion.

Yeah, still haven't found Bret but I think the concept is great, and seems to work pretty well. I think more evenly spaced cases would help. I know they want you to keep going back to TRU, but if they want me to buy all four in the future I have to be able to find all 4 or I won't do it.

I love the idea of a build-a-figure and going into shops hunting for the figures, but we never got these in the UK. So I've all I've done is spent time trawling through eBay which isn't as fun.

and even less interest in increasing TRU's foot traffic. In fact, I am more likely to buy items elsewhere instead of buying them from TRU. Maybe not during my Bret Hart hunt but I have left items behind out of frustration when the main target couldn't be found. For a solid month I left TRU empty handed. Increasing foot traffic has little impact if there's nothing else to buy (and I buy other lines beside WWE). Last Thursday I ordered Bret from TRU.com. Thursday was also truckday. How much new WWE product did they have?...Zero.

good idea TERRIBLE execution
lets make a BAF set but really all we want to do is make more John Cenas & Rey Mysterios, so we'll put them 4 per case and everyone else 2. Then we'll release them in 2 separate waves so basically you get 8 Cena Elites for every 2 Bret/HHH/Bryan....and 8 Cena/Rey Basics for every 2 Henry/Christian.
The sets should have gone like this
Case 1 Elite - 3 Cena/3 Bryan Case 2 Elite- 3 HHH/3 Bret
Case 1 Basic- 6 Cena/6 Christian Case 2 Basic- 6 Rey/6 Henry
Then everything is nice and even. We all get a FAIR opportunity to get each figure at a reasonable time frame, and all the pieces of each BAF are evenly distributed

I'm hoping they make a BAF for the legends line. I think if they would of made Elizabeth the BAF for 2012 it would of helped the other figures out

It depends, Yes because you can get figures like Michael Cole & Current Bret as they would of Probaly not made it in the elite series & we will hopefully get people like Jim Ross,John L & Teddy Long. No as the it's waiting people Fuel, money to try and find figures that might never hit your local store & Because we (Europe) can't get our hands on them with out paying $200 not including custom charges.

I got D Bry, thinking that Cena would be there next time (3 days later) and the Cena was gone. Cant find HHH or Bret. I think I'm going to have a Cole head and a jacket.

The line was fine, damn good even. I could have done without the Cena, though.
But it's Mattel's stupid business decisions and dumb case packs which bring down the joy.

Yeah if they weren't retail exclusive it'd be a fanstastic concept especially with BAF thrown in there, But they never came out over here in Ireland and not in UK either who do have TRU's so this sucked ass for me trying to get a decent price online

It's a neat concept and wouldn't have been such a pain in the ass if I had a Toys R Us within 200 miles of my house.

I say bad. They should have had equal amounts of all figures in the cases. The nearest TRU is almost an hour and half away so unless I caught them on their site I had to resort to the bay. I still need Bret so my Cole can walk.

They are great figures, but now I'll never find Bret Hart. He was there and gone from my store and online. So now I have a legless Cole that I will have to put away somewhere. I really wanted a current Hart also. So nice idea but I wish I could complete the set next time.
How about NOT store exclusive? Then I can look anywhere to complete it.
