After speaking with sources, WZ can confirm Brock Lesnar's signing of a WWE contract on WrestleMania 28 weekend drastically changed several WrestleMania match outcomes and character futures. The Hell in a Cell match outcome and future was said to be changed quite a bit last minute. As WZ reported a few weeks ago, Triple H vs Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 29 was one of the top possible matches being discussed prior to WrestleMania 28, with the idea of announcing the match on the 4/2/12 episode of RAW. When Lesnar was signed, WWE decided to scrap the plans for the time being. They wanted Lesnar's return to be what ended RAW and a match being made between Triple H and HBK is something WWE felt would be so big, it should also end RAW. WWE then decided to hold off on that possible match because with the return of Lesnar, coupled with the belief that The Rock will be involved in next year's WrestleMania, WWE didn't want to pigeon hole themselves with a match between Triple H and Shawn Michaels for a year. Sources say the match hasn't been wiped off the table but conversation of it likely won't be revisited until WrestleMania 29 gets closer. Another effect from Lesnar's signing was John Cena's future. It was expected that the newly debuted Lord Tensai would have his first feud with John Cena. Once Lesnar signed, WWE wanted Lesnar to start off his WWE return in a feud with John Cena so Lord Tensai is expected to work with CM Punk. Sources couldn't confirm what the outcome of The Rock vs John Cena match was to be prior to Lesnar's signing, but there is much speculation that Cena's loss was decided upon later during WrestleMania weekend to set up the anticipation of Cena's reaction the next night on RAW and hold the audience's attention for the end of RAW and Lesnar's return. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ A report was published earlier on another website claiming that although CM Punk's name has been discussed as a potential opponent for Brock Lesnar, there is some managerial concern that the match would be uneven due to the difference in size of both men. In response to this report, CM Punk posted the following on Twitter: SamCM Punk Dirt sheets can call me small, skinny, beat up, road-tired, fat, ugly, no friends etc...everyone else calls me champ. Everyone.

I really don't believe the HHH/HBK reports. Makes no sense to me and it seems the ending of that match was probably planned out for a while with the whole "End of an Era" thing.

Personally, I think Punk and Lesnar would be friggin' awesome! HBK and Triple H? Please, no.

Interesting with Lord Tensai, I could see them pushing him up. But i'm not sure how the crowd will react. At least they are not fully neglecting that he was once A-Train.

HBK vs Triple H at Mania is a massive match, and when have those two ever had a bad one together? That match alone makes Mania 29 worth ordering for me. Punk vs Austin, HBK vs HHH, Brock vs Rock, Cena vs Taker, are kidding? That is an absolute MONSTER Mania card.

I for one don't want to see Shawn Michaels go back on his word and come out of retirement after such a perfect send-off, just to have a match he's had countless times already. I think it's a solid enough reason.

Interesting stuff, I would be down for HBK/HHH one more time just from a selfish point of view.

WWE was really thinking of building HHH vs. HBK for a full year? I can see from Survivor Series onward but for a whole year sounds of overkill and people losing interested. Austin vs. Punk, UT vs. Cena, and even Brock vs. Rock could be built up for a year.

So I guess the story of the Rock-Cena outcome being changed mid-match was bull-turkey, huh?

Brock and Rock has been done. If Shawn Michaels will do a match, then it should be HBK vs Rock.

Hmm. I have various opinions on this. I'd love to see Shawn vs HHH but i'd rather see Brock return. However, I'd rather see Shawn return and face Rock than HBK/HHH or a Brock return. Shawn vs The Rock would be epic, sadly it will NEVER happen.

If there is any truth at all to any of this, I sincerely hope they're reconsidering their plans for Lord Tensai after the last two weeks. No one is buying him, at all.

Triple H vs. HBK? I'll pass on that. I can't stand either one of them.
I'm thinking their plans to push Albert will (hopefully) change because...well, he was never good to begin with. If they wanted to do this Japanese type gimmick, why didn't they just sign a Japanese star? Albert has never really done anything of any importance. Punk deserves a better feud.
I wish they could focus Mania plans on the stars that are on the roster permanently. Build these guys and put them in storylines that aren't completely intellectually- disabled. There are plenty of talented guys on the roster who deserve a spot at Mania in a match that actually means something. Yet, WWE just wants to use guys that have already had more than enough time in the spotlight because they constantly push the wrong guys and can't build stars out of them. The Rock, Triple H, HBK, and Lesnar can go away.
Focus on Punk, Ziggler, Bryan, Christian, etc.

I call BS on the HHH/HBK thing. The dirtsheets were wrong and now they are coming up with excuses. Shawn doesn't plan on wrestling again.

I really love the old, pre-retirement HBK.
Now, when I see him it pains me a bit and I find him annoying. He retired and went out in a cool way, which I do not want to see be tarnished in a Flair-esque way. And this is coming from a guy who LOVES Ric Flair.
I love Jericho..but now I want to see THIS Generation's Star shine.
The Summer of Punk has been forgotten so quickly...overshadowed by temporary comebacks and quick shockpops.

HHH vs HBK at a future WM and if this is true then thank god for Lesnar's return.
Think about it, If Lesnar never resigned with the E then we would have gotten an HHH/HBK segment to close last weeks Raw which ends with HHH challenging HBK to a match at WM29 and HBK ends up accepting, Everyone goes crazy BUT the following Raw HHH & HBK won't be there and things are back to normal... With Lesnar we all went crazy when he returned and hes STILL here for the mean time so Lesnar's return>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>HHH vs HBK.
A future HHH vs HBK match at lets say WM30 would still be epic though.
