WWE NXT
June 1st 2012CUE OPENING VIDEO - The debut of the brand new NXT kicks off with Matt Striker on the stage. He says that as the original host of WWE NXT he is here tonight to hand over the reins to the brand new crew of NXT. First off he introduces our announce team consisting of Byron Saxton, William Regal, who will be handling announcing duties due to his recent injury at the hands of Dean Ambrose, and… Jim Ross! As the crowd pop Ross makes his entrance before Matt Striker introduces the commissioner of NXT, a hall of famer who won’t take any nonsense – the American Dream Dusty Rhodes! Rhodes comes out and says that this NXT is about creating stars, and the only way to do that is in the ring, so without further ado it’s time to get on with the show! 1.) Bo Dallas Defeated Roman Leakee. The opening bout of the new NXT was a good one as fan favourite Bo Dallas took on the intense, hard hitting Roman Leakee. This one was a perfect opener as it showed off what NXT is all about, giving these young guys an opportunity to show their stuff and they did. Dallas and Leakee went back and forth, Dallas’ energy and all out offence matching Leakee’s pure strength and eventually put him away with the Spear, picking up the very first win in the new NXT. COMMERCIAL BREAK- We return to NXT and to a video package promoting the intense and mysterious tag team of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron – The Ascension. They promise to tear down the foundations of the World Wrestling Entertainment and build it up as something bigger, some better, something… ascended. 2.) The Ascension Defeated Briley Pierce & Brad Maddox. This match was all about The Ascension as they picked upart Pierce and Maddox. While the younger team certainly gave it their all and had their moments of control they never really looked like winning, with The Ascension eventually putting Maddox away with the Fall of Man. - We’re next shown the RAW recap, highlighting the build towards the main event which saw WWE Champion CM Punk and World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus face off with Christian and Daniel Bryan, a match which the champions won. It ends on the huge announcement that CM Punk will defend the WWE Championship against Christian and Daniel Bryan. - We’re shown a graphic promoting tonight’s main event, featuring Seth Rollins going one on one with SmackDown star Tyson Kidd. COMMERCIAL BREAK- We’re shown a graphic announcing that next week we’ll see the debut of Richie Steamboat, the son of the great Ricky Steamboat, exclusively on WWE NXT! - We get a promotional video highlighting Mike Dalton, the ‘next generation technician’. It hypes Dalton as an unstoppable technical machine who is going to out wrestle and out shine everybody else in NXT. 3.) Mike Dalton Defeated Dante Dash. Mike Dalton certainly wasn’t kidding about out wrestling the rest of NXT, but his technical skills weren’t enough to dominate this match as he came up against a very challenging opponent in the form of Dante Dash. Dash is deceptively quick and at the same time he knows how to hit hard, getting the fans firmly behind him as he took on the arrogant Dalton. In the end Dash went for a splash in the corner only for Dalton to dodge and bridge a German suplex for the victory. - We get a hype video for next week’s NXT, announcing that the Divas of NXT will be in action as Paige makes her debut, exclusively in NXT. COMMERCIAL BREAK- We get a promotional video with Tyson Kidd giving a few words on what it means to make it into the WWE. He says that as a former World Tag Team Champion he knows that it takes hard work and real talent but most importantly it takes heart. He’s never been the biggest dog in the fight, but he’s always fought the hardest and he is going to give the NXT roster a lesson, right here, right now. 4.) Tyson Kidd Defeated Seth Rollins. Coming into this everybody was intrigued on seeing how Seth Rollins would handle himself against Tyson Kidd, but by the end of the match there probably wasn’t a single doubter in sight because Rollins took Kidd to the limit in one of the best matches you’re likely to see in a WWE ring in 2012 thus far. These two went back and forth from the moment the bell rang, using fast paced technical wrestling in a spectacular fifteen minute bout with plenty of near falls towards the end. Rollins nearly got the victory with the Avada Kedavra, but Kidd countered and pulled Rollins down, locking in the Sharpshooter. Seth Rollins attempted to hold on as long as possible but in the end had no choice but to tap out. - As the bell rings the crowd give a round of applause to the two men in the ring. Tyson Kidd helps Seth Rollins up onto his feet and the pair shake hands, Kidd lifting Rollins arm as a sign of respect as the first episode of NXT on SyFy goes off the air.[/blockquote]

Being a pretty big NXT mark, I'm excited to see how you handle the debut show. Solid introductions for the broadcast team and Commissioner, Dusty Rhodes. Even though it's the same thing as a GM, it is nice to see Commissioner in WWE again. I really don't like Bo Dallas, but I understand him being a fan favorite with the audience, so a fine decision for him to go over in the opening contest. I think Leakee has a good look to him. He can be a great asset for NXT in the future, if you book him well enough. Impressive debut for the Ascension. I'm expecting them to become the premier tag team on NXT, unless you have plans for a different team (I am talking about Graves and Carter). What's with everyone booking Triple Threat WWE Championship matches for No Way out? You, WWE, and Elliot all went that route. Not that it's bad as Punk/Bryan/Christian sounds really good, but I'm just noting that. Interesting to showcase Mike Dalton on the debut show for the new NXT. I'm not very big on him, but he is a very solid worker. If you continue to push him, I could see him going far here. Paige <3. Lastly, fantastic main event with Tyson Kidd and Seth Rollins. Not too sure about Rollins losing as I feel that as an official NXT roster member, he should've gotten the win on the debut show. But Kidd winning is still fine, and I did like the embrace afterwards. Overall, a pretty solid debut edition of the new NXT. I do look forward to more.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWNJune 1st 2012 - Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd Defeated Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks - Dean Ambrose Defeated Percy Watson. Ambrose picked up a hard knock to the head during the match and was seen being looked at by a referee afterwards.CUE OPENING VIDEO
- As soon as SmackDown kicks off we’re treated, or rather not based on the reaction of the crowd, to an appearance by the general manager of RAW and SmackDown, John Laurinaitis. Laurinaitis hits the ring and asks for silence, saying that he needs to speak about something important. He says that he tries his hardest to do a good job, but that there are some insubordinate people out there who don’t want him to succeed, one of which is the current World Heavyweight Champion. Laurinaitis says that on RAW Sheamus showed up without his permission and then went against his orders to leave and wrestled in the main event. Laurinaitis tells Sheamus to come out and apologize. The World Heavyweight Champion does come out, joining the general manager in the ring. He sarcastically apologizes to John Laurinaitis, saying that he didn’t realize giving the WWE Universe what they want would make him act like such a cry baby. Laurinaitis objects to this, saying that he is all about people power but that Sheamus went against a direct order and needs to be punished. He announces that not only will Sheamus be fined two weeks wages but that tonight he will also face off against Mark Henry in an Over the Limit rematch. Sheamus shakes his head in disbelief at Laurinaitis as the general manager exits the ring having already thrown his weight around here tonight at SmackDown.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- As we return to SmackDown we get a brief recap of the opening announcement that later on tonight World Heavyweight champion Sheamus will go one on one with Mark Henry!
- We head to ringside where Antonio Cesaro and Aksana are already in the ring, Cesaro holding a microphone. He brings up last week where he attacked United States Champion David Otunga. He did that because Eve pointed out that he would be a far better United States Champion that David Otunga could ever be. Cesaro says that Otunga is arrogant and vain and that isn’t what a true champion is, hence he is going to take that title from him and show everybody how his United States is best for everybody.
1.) Antonio Cesaro & Damien Sandow w/ Aksana Defeated David Otunga & Zack Ryder. This was a bit of a strange bedfellows match as Otunga and Ryder have been battling it out over the United States Championship the past few weeks. Regardless they worked well together to take on Cesaro and Sandow, two recent additions to SmackDown who seemed to get along like a house on fire. Both teams wanted to win but in the end Cesaro dropped Ryder with the European Uppercut and then hit the Neutralizer, getting the victory while Sandow stopped Otunga from breaking it up.
- Following the match David Otunga goes after Cesaro, attempting to get payback for last week. Otunga seemed to have the advantage but he was caught from behind by Damien Sandow, the numbers game being too much for him, and Cesaro eventually dropped Otunga with the Neutralizer, holding the United States Championship up high as SmackDown cut to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We head backstage where we see John Laurinaitis walking through the corridor when he is stopped by Abraham Washington, who asks him to wait for a moment. AW tells Laurinaitis that Sheamus had no right to disrespect him on RAW, but that’s who he is, he has no respect. He tells Laurinaitis that one man who does respect him is Mark Henry, and that having the World’s Strongest Man as the World Heavyweight Champion would be good for business, and good for John Laurinaitis. The general manager considers this, and then tells AW that if Mark Henry can defeat Sheamus here tonight, he’ll add him to the No Way Out World Heavyweight Championship match between Sheamus and Randy Orton. AW tells him he won’t regret it, heading off as we return to ringside.
- We get a recap package showing AJ attacking Layla the past two weeks while Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Matthews talk up how she seems to be losing her mind week on week.
2.) AJ Defeated Alicia Fox. This wasn’t a bad match, though it didn’t really have the time to develop into anything special. AJ got to show off her ring work and as it turns out she’s a really good compared to the other Diva’s, eventually putting Alicia away with the Shining Wizard.
- Following the match AJ continues to attack Alicia Fox, grabbing her by the hair and repeatedly driving her head into the canvas. She is only stopped by a run in by Diva’s Champion Layla, who sprints to the ring, AJ escaping before she makes it. AJ skips up the ramp as if nothing had happened, Layla checking on Alicia Fox and looking up at AJ with a confused and slightly worried expression.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to SmackDown and to a promotional video recapping the fantastic hour of NXT action we saw just before SmackDown began. The announcers talk up how NXT is the only place to see the up and coming stars of World Wrestling Entertainment and is available only on SyFy. Three great hours of wrestling, every Friday Night.
- We return to ringside where Heath Slater and ‘Mouth of the South’ Jimmy Hart have made their entrance. Slater talks about how the past few weeks he hasn’t been given the opportunity he deserves, but that here tonight his manager, Jimmy Hart, has given him the chance to strut his stuff baby! He starts shouting that he’s the one man band but is quickly cut off by the music of his opponent – Chris Jericho!
3.) Chris Jericho Defeated Heath Slater w/ Jimmy Hart. Heath Slater certainly wasn’t prepared to be taking on the first ever WWE Undisputed Champion, but he put on a much better fight than most were expecting. This got more time that a Slater match usually would and with Jericho involved in turned out to be very entertaining with some fun little comedy spots and the usual Jericho action, eventually ending when Jericho locked Slater in the Walls of Jericho to pick up the submission victory.
- Following the match Chris Jericho gets to his feet only to be taken completely off guard by a Dolph Ziggler attack, who slides into the ring behind Jericho and then drops him with the Zig Zag! Ziggler stands over Jericho, shouting that he just ‘stole the show’ as Smackdown cuts to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- As SmackDown returns we’re greeted by the appearance of WWE legend Mick Foley. Foley enters the ring and sets up a chair before sitting down, saying that he usually wouldn’t be so melodramatic but tonight he has something important to say. Foley says that at Over the Limit Dean Ambrose beat him at his own game, that he made him hurt and that he made him bleed. But Dean Ambrose did something else that night – he woke somebody up. Mick Foley says that he’s been trying to keep ‘him’ at bay for many years, but that when he saw his blood running down his face he knew he couldn’t hold it in anymore. Foley says that Dean Ambrose is a monster, that he is just like him, but that he is going to do something that nobody could ever do to Mick Foley, he is going to put the monster down. Foley says that to really fight a monster you need a monster, and that luckily he has just the monster in mind, in fact it’s more like an old friend. He stands up and then rips open his plaid shirt to reveal the signature Cactus Jack shirt underneath. The crowd go insane as Foley screams that the only way to kill a monster is to do it through fire and blood, and that Cactus Jack has no problem with that, so at No Way Out in New Jersey it’s going to be Dean Ambrose against Cactus Jack in a Street Fight! Cactus says that he knows Dean Ambrose is too scared to face him tonight and that he should be, but that in New Jersey, he’s going to show Ambrose exactly how much of a monster he truly is… Bang Bang! Cactus Jack is back in the WWE and he’s coming after Dean Ambrose! The crowd cheer as SmackDown cuts away with no sign of Dean Ambrose, but plenty of Cactus Jack.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to SmackDown and to a hype video for the upcoming return of Sin Cara. Sin Cara returns… soon!
- Following the video Alberto Del Rio makes his entrance, he’s scheduled to be in action next. Del Rio hits the ring and begins talking about how a pathetic video for Sin Cara gets more respect than he does. He says that Sin Cara is a nobody, a man hiding behind a mask because if he didn’t he’d never be able to go back to Mexico again because every time he gets in this ring he embarrasses his country and his people. Del Rio claims that Sin Cara can’t get into a ring without messing up and that they shouldn’t be showing him any respect, they should be showing Alberto Del Rio respect and that until they learn that, he’s going to have to keep proving it by hurting people.
4.) Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez Defeated R-Truth. The second hour of SmackDown continued with a big clash between fan favourite R-Truth and one of the most hated men on the roster, Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio continued to show off his new aggressive streak here tonight as he worked over the arm of R-Truth although it wasn’t all easy sailing as Truth gave as good as he got and nearly picked up the win. Truth was about to hit the Lie Detector when Ricardo grabbed his leg and a second later Del Rio had locked in the Cross Armbreaker and picked up another impressive submission victory.
- For the second time in as many weeks Del Rio refused to break the hold until the official threatened to reverse the decision, but as the referee checked on R-Truth Del Rio pushed him away and began putting the boots in until he was pulled back by the official. R-Truth looked hurt as Del Rio smirked and then shouted at the fans to respect him as SmackDown cut away.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to SmackDown and head to the locker room of Sheamus where the World Heavyweight Champion is preparing for him match later on tonight. The door opens and Randy Orton enters, the two staring down just like they did last week. Orton tells Sheamus that he doesn’t care whether he’s facing Sheamus or him and Mark Henry because at No Way Out he is taking back the World Heavyweight Championship. He then adds that he wants Sheamus to kick that idiots head off so that they can have a proper match and that he can truly call himself the better man. Sheamus asks Orton whether he just wished him luck and Orton shakes his head and walks off as Sheamus comedically shrugs his shoulders as we return to ringside.
5.) Ryback Defeated Mason Ryan. These two have had their problems the past few weeks but every time they step in the ring Ryback always walks away victorious, and tonight ended up being no different. While this was certainly his toughest test yet Ryback still ended up taking control with a huge Lariat, followed by a freak display of strength to lift Ryan up onto his shoulders and then drop him with Shell Shocked.
- As Ryback is declared the winner he gets to his feet and begins chanting “Feed Me More!” The fans get in on it before Ryback simply declared “done” as we cut away.
- We go to a split screen showing World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus on one side and Mark Henry on the other. These two will collide once again, next!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Before the main event can begin Randy Orton makes a surprise appearance, heading down to ringside and joining the announce team, saying that he just wants to get an up close and personal view of this match.
6.) Mark Henry w/ Abraham Washington Defeated Sheamus. In a rematch from last months Over the Limit pay per view Sheamus battled Mark Henry with the stipulation being that if Henry won he’d be added to the World Heavyweight Championship match at No Way Out. This one was just as brutal and hard hitting as their Over the Limit encounter as both men brawled both inside and outside the ring. Just like last time Abraham Washington attempted to interfere while they were on the outside but Randy Orton left the announce table and hit him with a surprising RKO on the outside, nearly getting him involved in a brawl with Henry. The match went back to the ring and the two went back and forth again but when Sheamus went for the Brogue Kick Henry simply grabbed the boot, pulled Sheamus in and dropped him with the World’s Strongest Slam, picking up the victory and his spot in the World Heavyweight Championship match.
- The crowd are in shock, Mark Henry has not only just defeated the World Heavyweight Champion but also made the No Way Out title defence a triple threat match. Randy Orton and Mark Henry stare each other down while Sheamus is laid out in the ring and as SmackDown goes off the air one thing is certain – the next two weeks might be the final weeks for Sheamus to call himself the World Heavyweight Champion.

WWE News: No Way Out Stipulation, Mark Henry Renews Contract, Dean Ambrose Injury, More...- With two triple threat matches now having been announced for the WWE’s two top titles at the No Way Out pay per view it is highly expected for at least one of them to be given a stipulation. Most people are expecting it to be the World Heavyweight Championship match with some kind of cage stipulation to be worked in this week on SmackDown. Also on that front while most expect Sheamus to retain the World Heavyweight Championship there is a lot of support for Mark Henry to get another run with the title after his last title run, which received rave reviews, was stopped short due to injury. - In more Mark Henry news the SmackDown star recently signed a new contract that will keep him with the company for a further two years, at which point he is expected to retire. Henry has told a number of people backstage that he doesn’t want to work a regular schedule too much longer due to the effect it has hand on his body. - Dean Ambrose was not featured on this week’s edition of SmackDown, despite the fact that he was scripted to cut some kind of return promo to Mick Foley’s. Apparently during the Superstars taping earlier in the night Ambrose received a very bad knock to the head when Percy Watson botched a suplex on the outside. Ambrose was suspected to have picked up a concussion and despite finishing the match WWE officials decided that they could work SmackDown without him in order to get him medically checked out. The most recent update is that Ambrose did not pick up a concussion and he is expected to appear at this week’s tapings. - Justin Gabriel, who has been out of action for nearly two months due to an elbow injury, made his return this week on Superstars, once again teaming with Tyson Kidd to defeat Curt Hawkins and Tyson Kidd. The feeling is that Kidd and Gabriel will receive a steady push in the tag team division in the next few months. - This week’s debut edition of NXT on SyFy did considerably better than many were expecting, both in terms of rating and critical feedback. In terms of the ratings most people think that the impressive numbers were down to it being a debut show and because of its lead in to SmackDown, with the most watched part of the show being the last ten minutes, typically when people switch over for SmackDown.

Aw, Ambrose got a boo-boo. A good opening segment with John Laurinaitis and World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. Hopefully this is his only fine. Don't wanna break the poor fella. Over The Limit rematch tonight is huge. I see Henry picking up the win and placing himself in the mix with Sheamus and Orton. What a classy team Cesaro and Sandow make. Good victory for them over the odd duo of David Otunga and Zack Ryder. I'm sure Cesaro will be United States Champion sooner than later, and I look forward to it. Heel AJ is sexy, then again I feel that way about any AJ. Anywho, I hope you don't rush the title on her, if that's what you're going for. Love the idea of Jericho/Slater. Would be comedy gold. Ziggler with the attack is nice to further that feud. And a great feud it will be. Bah Gawd! Cactus Jack! A Street Fight at No Way Out sounds fantastic, wondering just how much you'll push the envelope for that. Liking the possibility of a Del Rio/Sin Cara feud. And a good win for ADR over R-Truth. F**k him up, Ryback! I hate Mason Ryan, so loved seeing him get eaten. As expected, Mark Henry defeats Sheamus and the World Title match at No Way Out is now a Triple Threat. Maybe some overkill as the WWE Title match also has three competitors, though. I see Sheamus retaining, but I would love to see the World's Strongest Champion take two. A good show overall.

MONDAY NIGHT RAWJune 4th 2012 - Kaitlyn Defeated Rosa Mendes. After the match Beth Phoenix attacked Kaitlyn, laying her out with the Glam Slam. - Jinder Mahal Defeated Derrick BatemanCUE OPENING VIDEO
- RAW kicks off with the theme of Daniel Bryan hitting as one of the challengers for the WWE Championship in fourteen days hits the ring, getting into a “Yes!” “No!” argument with the entire crowd in the process. Bryan talks about how unfair it is that he has to face two men at No Way Out when he is the rightful number one contender. He goes on, saying that he is being victimised because he is so handsome and that everyone is jealous of him. He says that he deserves to be the WWE Champion, and begins the old “Yes!” routine, asking whether he is going to become the WWE Champion. Before he can continue on he is cut off by Intercontinental Champion The Miz, who tells Daniel Bryan that nobody wants to listen him whine and moan. He says that Bryan was a pain in the ass when he was his rookie on NXT and that he’s a pain in the ass now. Bryan tells Miz that this is his time and that Miz can get lost and go back to being knocked out by Big Show. Miz tells Daniel Bryan that none of these fans want to hear him go on, but then asks whether they want to see him get his ass kicked here tonight, getting a massive “Yes!” in response. Daniel Bryan asks Miz if he really thinks he can beat him and Miz shouts “Yes!”. Daniel Bryan gets annoyed, shouting that it is his catchphrase and the two go back and forth with “Yes!” and “No!” eventually resulting in Daniel Bryan snapping and accepting The Miz’s challenge for a match later tonight before storming off as The Miz holds up the Intercontinental Championship. The Miz faces off with Daniel Bryan… tonight!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to Monday Night RAW and to a graphic featuring tonight’s main event, a match between WWE Champion CM Punk and one of the men who will face him at No Way Out, Christian. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler hype the match up, also mentioning that Daniel Bryan will face off with Intercontinental Champion The Miz, all of that tonight on Monday Night RAW.
1.) Kofi Kingston Defeated Lord Tensai. With his match with Kane lingering in the back of his mind Kofi Kingston took his high octane style into this match with Lord Tensai. The two went back and forth but in the end Kingston overcame the strength advantage of Tensai, ducking under a Lariat and hitting a thunderous Trouble in Paradise to take the victory.
- Following the match Kofi Kingston began looking around, expecting Kane to make another surprise attack. None comes, but it’s apparent that Kane is getting into Kingston’s head.
- We head backstage where Epico, Primo and Rosa Mendes are seen talking about the Prime Time Players. Abraham Washington rushes up to them, asking them why they’re not getting ready. They have no idea what he’s talking about and AW tells them he expects them to be in the corner of the Prime Time Players. The WWE Tag Team Champions laugh, telling him that there isn’t a chance they’ll ever support those “perdedores” before walking off, leaving AW looking annoyed as his stable continues to fall apart.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to RAW and to the backstage area where Big Show is shown walking through the halls. Scott Stanford attempts to get a few words with him, asking why he didn’t accept The Miz’s challenge last week, questioning whether he is scared. Big Show grabs him around the throat and pushes him against the wall, asking whether he looks scared. Stanford shakes his head and Big Show throws him to the ground before walking off, leaving the interviewer shaken as we return to ringside.
2.) The Prime Time Players w/ Abraham Washington Defeated The Uso’s. The Prime Time Players were as cocky as ever going into this one against The Uso’s, who have spent the past month chasing Epico & Primo’s tag team titles. This was as hard hitting a tag team match as we’ve seen in the past few months and in the end they hit the Ghetto Blaster on Jey Uso to get the victory while AW held onto Jimmy Uso’s leg, stopping him from making the save.
- Following the match the Prime Time Players continued to beat down on The Uso’s before the tides turned, the two teams brawling in the ring. Epico & Primo ended up hitting the ring and, after a moment where they seemed ready to attack the Prime Time Players, joined in the assault on The Uso’s. It seemed like the numbers game would be too much for them when a surprise appearance by SmackDown’s Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd changed the game, the newly dubbed International Airstrike helping The Uso’s fight off All World Promotions, the four teams staring each other down as we cut away.
- We get a promotional video highlighting WWE NXT, airing this Friday on SyFy featuring a big main event as Bo Dallas faces off with Kassius Ohno, exclusively on NXT!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- As we return to Monday Night RAW we get a recap of the big eight man brawl we just witnessed, following a graphic showing that John Laurinaitis has announced an eight man tag team match at No Way Out featuring Epico, Primo and The Prime Time Players against The Uso’s and International Airstrike.
3.) Daniel Bryan Defeated The Miz. The first hour main event saw a big clash between a former NXT pairing who have had plenty of run ins since then. These two really went at it and while Bryan is obviously the better wrestler he just couldn’t control The Miz thanks to his use of underhanded tactics. In the end an appearance by the Big Show distracted The Miz and allowed Bryan to lock in the “No!” Lock, giving The Miz no choice by to tap out and give Bryan the big victory.
- Daniel Bryan begins chanting “Yes!” as Big Show climbs into the ring. Bryan turns around and finds himself face to chest with Big Show, quickly exiting the ring and leaving Show and The Miz alone. The Miz gets to his feet and his dropped, knocked out cold by the WMD. As Miz is flat out Big Show is handed a microphone and announces that he accepts The Miz’s challenge, that at No Way Out he knocks The Miz out one final time.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We return to RAW and to a video package showing “The Million Dollar Prodigy” Ted DiBiase and “The Perfect One” Joe Hennig talking about how they are going to surpass their fathers legacies and become the greatest stars that the WWE has ever seen. The Perfect Sons come to Monday Night RAW… soon!
- We return to ringside as Kane makes his entrance, the Big Red Machine hitting the ring to a chorus of boos. Kane says that all anybody has talked about the past few weeks is why he has been targeting Kofi Kingston. Kane asks whether he truly needs a reason, saying that there does not to be reason when there is chaos and destruction. He says that he does what he does simply because he can, simply because he can do whatever he wants. Kane goes on to threaten both Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler, saying that if he wanted to hurt them then he would simply do it, because he can do whatever it is he wants… then again, maybe he will. He then grabs Jerry Lawler by the throat and drags him into the ring, preparing to Chokeslam him. Suddenly Kofi Kingston sprints out and goes after Kane with a barrage of rights and lefts, saving Jerry Lawler who makes a quick exit. Kane fights back but Kingston blocks the Chokeslam and then nails Kane with the Trouble in Paradise, sending him through the ropes and to the outside. As Kane backs up the ramp Kingston taunts from the ring, the problems between these two continuing as we head towards No Way Out.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We head backstage to see John Laurinaitis about to enter his office, talking to Eve with Theodore Long trailing behind them. When he opens the office door he finds CM Punk on the other side, exiting the office. Laurinaitis is furious, demanding to know what the WWE Champion is playing at and CM Punk simply says he was redecorating. He lets Laurinaitis through to see that the entire office is now covered in CM Punk merchandise. Punk laughs, saying that he can find it all on WWE’s official online shop before walking off. Laurinaitis is furious and blames Theodore Long for this, which seems to be the final straw as Long tells Laurinaitis that he’s an idiot and that he can’t work for him anymore, saying that he quits and storming off, leaving Laurinaitis and Eve stunned.
4.) Jack Swagger Defeated Santino Marella. After a bump on the road last week against The Miz Jack Swagger looked to get back to winning ways. Despite being frustrated by Santino Marella’s comedy way of wrestling Swagger managed to take control, eventually hitting the Gutwrench Powerbomb to pick up the victory.
- Following the match Jack Swagger begins celebrating by doing press ups in the ring when Drew McIntyre made his entrance, sprinting to the ring, sliding in and grabbing Santino Marella. With Swagger watching on McIntyre pulls Marella up and drops him with the Future Shock DDT, once again taking out Marella. Swagger and McIntyre seem to stare each other down as RAW cuts to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- We head backstage where Christian is shown getting ready for his main event match against CM Punk later in the night. He is interrupted by Daniel Bryan, who starts bragging about how he defeated the The Miz earlier in the night. He says that tonight he beat the Intercontinental Champion and that at No Way Out he beats CM Punk and Christian and becomes the new WWE Champion. Christian says that getting Brogue Kicked in the head so many times must have done something to his home because he is clearly delusional if he thinks he’s going to win the title. Bryan asks Christian if he’s going to beat CM Punk tonight and then answers himself, chanting “No!” as he leaves the locker room, Christian watching in disbelief as we cut away.
- We get a brief recap of the recent events between Brodus Clay and Cody Rhodes. Every time the two face off Rhodes has found a way out of it, first getting disqualified twice and last week getting himself counted out.
5.) Cody Rhodes Defeated Alex Riley. Although Riley got some solid offence in there was little doubt about who was going over in this one as Rhodes soon hit Cross-Rhodes and came out victorious tonight on RAW.
- Following the match Brodus Clay makes his entrance, dancing down to the ring while Rhodes looks disgusted. As Brodus enters the ring Cody quickly exits, disappointing Clay. Brodus is handed a microphone and tells Cody to be a man and face him so he can lost to the Funkasaurus. Cody shouts that he won’t be goaded into a match with a slob like Brodus Clay and walks off backstage. As he leaves Brodus says that they may as well have a little fun and begins dancing in the ring, only for Rhodes to reappear and attack Clay from behind. Brodus is ready for him though, fighting him off and sending him off in retreat for a second time as RAW cuts away.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Prior to the main event Daniel Bryan made his entrance, joining Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler at the announce table to scout out his No Way Out opponents.
6.) Christian Defeated CM Punk. In a huge main event Christian and CM Punk squared off one on one for the first time since Punk re-injured Christian’s shoulder several months ago. These two put on a fantastic display and that was only made more entertaining by Daniel Bryan’s fantastic commentary. It was Daniel Bryan who ended up being the difference maker here as he grabbed CM Punk’s leg when Punk was going for the GTS, letting Christian counter and connect with the Unprettier to take the big victory.
- Following the match Daniel Bryan slides into the ring and begins putting the boots into CM Punk. Christian pulls Daniel Bryan away and the tensions between the pair exploded into a massive brawl, Christian and Bryan going back and forth until Christian went for the Unprettier. Bryan managed to block the move and quickly exited the ring, Christian backing up and suddenly being spun around and nailed by the GTS by a risen CM Punk. The crowd go crazy as CM Punk lifting the WWE Championship over a fallen Christian while Daniel Bryan chanted “No!” at their cheering as RAW goes off the air.

WWE News: Brock Lesnar Working Money in the Bank, Dean Ambrose / Percy Watson Altercation, Theodore Long Update, More…- There has been a lot of talk about bringing Brock Lesnar back before the Summerslam pay per view, likely to work something for the Money in the Bank pay per view. The feeling is that with John Cena expected to take time out until Summerslam that they need a big money match for the Money in the Bank pay per view and that Brock Lesnar would be that draw and set up for either the rematch with John Cena or the match with Triple H for summerslam. Currently proposed opponents include Triple H, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and WWE Champion CM Punk. One stumbling block would be having to pay Lesnar for extra dates on his contract outside of what they have already agreed. - In a further update from our report that Dean Ambrose was nearly injured during a match with Percy Watson at the Superstars taping this week, a number of sources are reporting that a massive argument broke out between Ambrose and Watson following the SmackDown tapings. Ambrose reportedly confronted Watson and blamed him for the botch that ended with him landing on his head on the outside. This ended up in a massive argument that only ended when Ambrose threatened to ‘drop Watson on his head’ right there and then forcing Watson to back down. Ambrose is widely acknowledged backstage as being a bit of a wildcard depending on his mood and nobody was surprised when Ambrose threatened to attack Watson. There may be repercussions on Watson’s end because it was clear when watching that Watson botched the move. - This week’s RAW saw a segment where Theodore Long quit as the personal assistant of general manager John Laurinaitis. He will reportedly be kept off screens for up to several months and then return, likely as a manager for someone called up from development. One name being thrown around right now is Big E Langston, who WWE officials have been very impressed with for his work down in Florida Championship Wrestling. - There’s a feeling amongst some members of creative that they made a bad move deciding to bring Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig back onto the main roster as a tag team due to the focus that they have put on the Epico / Primo / Prime Time Players feud. There is some concern that the Perfect Sons will be lost in the shuffle when they could be a big tag team based on their heritage. - World Wrestling Entertainment has signed Tom LaRuffa to a development contract. The French superstar is a graduate of the Storm Wrestling Academy and is considered to have a very good look and pretty good wrestling skills. He’s expected to report to Florida Championship Wrestling this week.

An interesting way to open the show with Daniel Bryan and The Miz. I always like their matches so it should be good. A huge victory for Kofi Kingston over Lord Tensai, I'm looking forward to his encounter with Kane which I expect him to win also. Great victory for the Prime Time Players, and it seems Epico and Primo are with them after all. I think I smell an Eight-Man Tag Team Match somewhere down the line. A necessary victory for Daniel Bryan as he is one of the number one contenders to the WWE Championship. Big Show accepting Miz's challenge was obvious as a challenge rarely goes unaccepted, I'm starting to just accept that Miz is face now, although I still can't see it in my head. Really like the way this Kingston/Kane feud is coming off, it's really intriguing. Teddy Long quits? You can't get rid of T-Lo! He'll be back, playa'. Big win for Jack Swagger, regaining some momentum. Intrigued by McIntyre's stare-down with Swagger though. Cody Rhodes over Alex Riley was fairly obvious, but I like this ongoing feud with Brodus Clay, at least it's giving him a real feud. Unsure on Christian getting shot straight back to the Main Event, but I don't see him winning at No Way Out. A win here confirms that he probably won't leave as the WWE Champion. A good way to close the show though, and I look forward to seeing you work towards the next event.

WWE NXTJune 8th 2012CUE OPENING VIDEO - We kick things off by heading down to our announce trio of Byron Saxton, William Regal and Jim Ross. They welcome us to the show and hype that tonight we will get to see the future stars of World Wrestling Entertainment as they compete live, including the first appearance of the NXT Diva’s and the main event of Bo Dallas taking on the debuting Kassius Ohno. They’re cut off by the music of Richie Steamboat as the second generation star hits the ring to make his NXT debut.
- Richie Steamboat grabs a microphone and begins talking about how it feels good to be here on NXT. He says that while he respects everything that his father Ricky Steamboat did he intends to be his own man, to carve his own path into the WWE and that it begins tonight when he makes a winning debut here on NXT. He is soon cut off by the music of his opponent Heath Slater, the One Man Rock Band hitting the ring and telling Steamboat to give him some room. Slater begins to sing and rock out in the ring which causes Steamboat to nail him with a jumping double chop to kick off the match early.
1.) Richie Steamboat Defeated Heath Slater. The fans here in Full Sail University were fully behind Richie Steamboat, which seemed to swell his confidence and he ended up putting on one hell of a performance. Slater doesn’t really get the opportunity to show off his stuff on SmackDown but here he seemed completely different, putting on one hell of a fight but came up short as Steamboat connected with the Sling Blade for the victory.
- Richie Steamboat stands up as the crowd cheer loudly, impressed by the second generation stars debut here tonight. He ascends the turnbuckle as NXT goes to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to the backstage area where Briley Pierce is standing by with Bo Dallas, looking to get a few words on his main event contest with Kassius Ohno here tonight. Dallas says that he loves competition and that Kassius Ohno is one hell of a competitor, but he’s no Bo Dallas and here tonight he’s going to steal the show and take the victory, because that’s the Bo Dallas way.
- We get a promotional video highlighting the Diva’s of NXT, focusing heavily on Paige, who says that she isn’t a Diva and she’s going to make sure that everybody knows it by smacking them in the face. She calls herself the anti-Diva and that she’s going to make everyone know it.
2.) Paige Defeated Audrey Marie. This match was proof of exactly what the Diva’s division could be like if they were actually given time. Both of these women can wrestle and Paige is one of the most unique Diva’s WWE has ever seen. She’s hard hitting and just tried to hurt Audrey, eventually putting her away with a devastating cradle DDT she calls the RamPaige.
- Following the match Paige starts putting the boots into Audrey Marie, lifting her up and hitting another RamPaige for good measure as NXT cuts to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return backstage where Heath Slater is arguing with Dusty Rhodes, saying that he was cheated against Richie Steamboat earlier tonight. He wants a rematch and Dusty says he’ll think about it. Slater says that isn’t good enough but is soon stopped when Rick Viktor enters, the intimidating Viktor scaring Slater off. Dusty even looks slightly intimidated as Viktor simply says that they should talk business as we cut away.
- We get a promotion video highlighting the tag team of Corey Graves and Jake Carter. They call themselves ‘Your Girlfriends Favourite Tag Team’ and promise that when they make their debut they’ll be the hottest thing you’ve ever seen. Corey Graves & Jake Carter debut next week on NXT.
3.) The Ascension Defeated Oliver Grey & Adam Mercer. Following their debut last week the creepy team of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron put on another strong display against the equally impressive and hard hitting team of Grey and Mercer. While both teams got in some good shots it was The Ascension who came out on top as they hit the Fall of Man on Oliver Grey.
- We get a promotional video highlighting Kassius Ohno. He states that he’s a hard hitting knockout artist who can’t be stopped and that he is going to take over NXT and the WWE one knockout at a time. He finishes it off by saying that when people see him coming, they scream out oh no!
COMMERCIAL BREAK 4.) Bo Dallas Defeated Kassius Ohno. The second edition of the new NXT was topped off by this very entertaining match between two NXT exclusives in Dallas and Ohno. While Dallas is a clear fan favourite here at Full State the crowd just couldn’t help but be impressed by Ohno’s hard hitting style. These two put on a match that could easily be considered pay per view quality and ended up seeing Ohno go for the KO only for Dallas to duck underneath and roll Ohno up for the surprise victory!
Following the count Bo Dallas begins celebrating when he is attacked from behind by Kassius Ohno. The beatdown continues until Seth Rollins makes the save, sprinting to the ring and ducking beneath the KO to deliver a dropkick that sends Ohno packing from the ring. The second episode of NXT goes off the air with Rollins helping Dallas to his feet while Ohno stares them down from the ramp.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWNJune 8th 2012 - R-Truth Defeated Camacho - Natalya Defeated Alicia FoxCUE OPENING VIDEO - The pyrotechnics hit and SmackDown is officially underway. We head down to our announce team of Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Matthews who promote that in just ten days time WWE heads to New Jersey for the No Way Out pay per view where, it was revealed last week, Sheamus will defend the World Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match against both Randy Orton and Mark Henry. They’re cut off by the music of the aforementioned World Heavyweight Champion as Sheamus makes his way down to the ring to a big pop.
- Sheamus hits the ring and begins talking about how last week Mark Henry pinned him. He jokes that it was more like Abraham Washington beat him, but the end result is still the same – at No Way Out he will defend the title against both Randy Orton and Mark Henry. But even though the odds are against him he isn’t angry, he’s excited because he’s a fighting champion who loves a good fight. Sheamus says that defending his title against both Randy Orton and Mark Henry will be the biggest challenge of his career and that he doesn’t think he can wait that long, he needs to fight tonight. This gets a big pop that is quickly cut off as the theme of Dolph Ziggler hits, the Show Off hitting the ring and interrupting Sheamus much to the World Heavyweight Champion’s bemusement. Ziggler tells Sheamus that he’s right, this will be the biggest challenge of his career but that is only because he hasn’t defended the title against him yet. Sheamus says that they can change that pretty quickly, bringing up that he wants a fight and that it may as well be against Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler asks Sheamus if he is sure, because he’d hate to showup Sheamus this close to No Way Out because everybody knows that he is the Show Off.
Both men are now cut off by Chris Jericho, who walks out onto the ramp and tells Ziggler to please shut… the hell… up! The crowd roar in approval as Jericho walks to the ring, saying that every week Ziggler runs his mouth about being better than everybody else and all he’s really doing is ripping Jericho off because he’s been doing this shtick for years. Jericho enters the ring and Ziggler tells Jericho that he better be careful, he might put his back out. Ziggler mocks Jericho, telling him that he’s past his prime and that he can’t win the big one anymore. Jericho laughs, saying that all of Dolph’s hair products were leaking into his brain if he was that stupid. The two continue to go back and forth before Sheamus, who has been finding the entire thing pretty funny, intervenes, telling them that if they want to fight so much then why don’t they just go at it? Jericho says that is a great idea and then nails Ziggler with a right hand, dropping him to the floor. Ziggler quickly exits out of the ring before general manager John Laurinaitis comes out, saying that if they want to fight so much then they can because tonight’s main event will pit World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus against Dolph Ziggler! Laurinaitis says that he hasn’t forgotten about Chris Jericho, because he’ll be going one on one with Randy Orton! The crowd go crazy as the three men look at each other, two huge matches having been made here tonight on SmackDown.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to SmackDown to a quick recap of what went down at the start of the show, a confrontation between Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler and Chris Jericho that culminated in two huge matches being made. Here tonight on SmackDown World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus takes on Dolph Ziggler while Chris Jericho battles Randy Orton!
- Prior to the next match Antonio Cesaro and Aksana make their entrance with Cesaro giving a word in five separate languages, tonight’s word? Champion. Cesaro says that soon the United States will have a champion that they can truly respect and admire, instead of the blowhard David Otunga.
1.) Antonio Cesaro w/ Aksana Defeated Zack Ryder. This match stemmed from their tag team encounter this last week and much like last week it was an even affair with Cesaro maybe looking just that little bit stronger. Ryder had opportunities to win the match but as he went for the Rough Ryder Cesaro countered and connected with the Very European Uppercut, followed by the Neutralizer for the victory.
- Following the match Cesaro continues to beat down on Zack Ryder while Aksana watches on, seemingly impressed. Cesaro is setting up for a second Neutralizer when David Otunga hits the ring, the United States Champion wanting to get even with Cesaro for his recent attacks. Cesaro and Otunga brawl around the ring with Otunga seemingly getting the better of the altercation before he is attacked from behind by Damien Sandow. Sandow quickly leaves Otunga lying with Terminus and he and Cesaro leave the ring together, satisfied with the destruction they have left behind but leaving us with little idea as to what their connection is all about.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We head backstage where Mark Henry is with Abraham Washington. Henry isn’t happy, saying that he should have gone out there and given Sheamus the fight he wanted so much. Washington says that they need to stick to the game plan and that by the end of the night they may as well just give him the World Heavyweight Championship. They’re cut off by the Prime Time Players, who enter the locker room and enthusiastically greet their manager AW, boasting about how they’re going to beat International Airstrike later tonight. Henry isn’t impressed, bringing up that Washington is splitting his time between him and two tag teams on RAW. Henry tells Washington to get his priorities straight and walks off as SmackDown returns to ringside.
2.) Layla Defeated Nikki Bella w/ Brie Bella. The Diva’s Champion looked to get over AJ’s recent attacks with a win here, and she did just that in impressive style, taking Brie out with a baseball slide and soon after connecting with the Lay-Out for the victory.
- Following the match the music of AJ hits and the slightly deranged Diva skips down to the ring. Layla stands ready for a fight but AJ just skips all the way around the ring and back to the ramp where she starts pointing and laughing at Layla. Suddenly Layla is attacked by Brie Bella but the Diva’s Champion easily holds her own and hits Brie with the Lay-Out. She grabs a microphone and tells AJ that she doesn’t know what is going on with her, but that she is sick of it and that if AJ wants a fight so bad then she can have one at No Way Out! AJ continues to laugh maniacally as she skips up the ramp, Layla shaking her head with no idea whether her challenge was accepted or not.
- We head backstage where John Laurinaitis is speaking with the assistant general manager Eve. They’re soon interrupted by the World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus entering the office. Laurinaitis asks him what he wants and Sheamus says that he was going to speak to his good friend Theodore Long, but then he remembered that Long quit. Sheamus tells a story about how back home he had a cousin who had this boat made out of wood, and that when it had a hole in it he plugged it with a cork, but that the boat still sank. Laurinaitis asks him what his point is and Sheamus says that it’s always better to jump off of a sinking ship before it goes down, laughs and walks out leaving Laurinaitis fuming as we cut away.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We get a match graphic revealing a just announced match for No Way Out. Chris Jericho will go one on one with Dolph Ziggler exclusively at No Way Out on June 17th, only on pay per view.
3.) Randy Orton Defeated Chris Jericho. A massive first hour main event here as two of the top stars on SmackDown clashed one on one. The match was slow to start off with but soon picked up with both men going all out to get the win knowing that to do so would be to pick up a lot of momentum with just ten days until No Way Out. When Orton went for the RKO Jericho countered and locked in the Walls of Jericho, only for Dolph Ziggler to make an appearance, walking to ringside and leaping onto the ring apron. Jericho broke the hold and began arguing with Ziggler before knocking him from the apron with a right hand. Jericho then turned around straight into an RKO, Orton getting the cover and the three count.
- Randy Orton struggles to his feet, his back causing some serious pain following the Walls of Jericho. Dolph Ziggler backs up the ramp, holding his jaw but grinning all the same having just cost Chris Jericho this match.
- We cut backstage where Antonio Cesaro, Aksana and Damien Sandow are walking through the hallway, talking about something. They’re interrupted by Matt Striker who tries to get a few words with them about why Sandow helped Cesaro earlier tonight. Sandow laughs, saying that Striker’s lesser mind would not be able to understand. The two walk off, leaving Striker confused and insulted as we cut to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to SmackDown and to a video recap of the events of last week where Mick Foley reverted to his Cactus Jack persona and announced that he will face Dean Ambrose at No Way Out in a New Jersey Street Fight.
- The music of Dean Ambrose hits the speakers to a lot of heat, the sociopathic superstar heading towards the ring to kick off the second hour. He grabs a chair and sets it up in the ring before sitting down, mocking Foley’s style of promo from last week. Ambrose begins talking about how last week Mick Foley proved just how insane he truly is. He says that Foley has always said that he isn’t the monster Ambrose claims him to be but how can he believe that when he has three different personalities, each one more deranged that the last. Dean Ambrose continues, admitting that people call him a monster, that they call him crazy, but that he is only the way he is because of Mick Foley, because he saw his closest friend injure himself by trying to copy Mick Foley, because he saw dozens of young wrestlers end their careers by trying to be like Mick Foley. Ambrose says that it doesn’t matter if it’s Mick Foley or Cactus Jack because they’re the same person, they’re the same monster and he isn’t the only person who sees that. Ambrose says that he has a friend, a guiding light watching over him who will lead him to victory at No Way Out.
He’s interrupted by the music of the one and only Cactus Jack, who heads towards the ring staring daggers at Dean Ambrose. He enters the ring and the two men stare each other down, everybody in the arena including the announcers expecting a fight to break out at any minute. Cactus Jack tells Ambrose that he’s right, that he is a monster and that he has to thank Dean for letting him back out of the box that Foley trapped him in. Cactus tells him that his guardian angel won’t be able to help him in New Jersey but Ambrose interrupts, insisting that his ‘guiding light’ is very real indeed and that he has a message for him – time is not on your side. Cactus Jack says that he has never been one to worry about time, he does what he wants when he wants and right now he wants to rip Ambrose’s skin from his body! Suddenly Cactus Jack nails Ambrose with a right hand and just begins beating on him in the ring. Ambrose fights back, nailing Jack with a low blow and then grabbing the chair and nailing him in the head with it. Cactus Jack just starts laughing as blood starts to drip from a cut in his forehead. Ambrose sees this and quickly exits the ring, possibly realizing that he has awoken a monster that he can’t beat, a monster that he will face in just ten days’ time at No Way Out.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to SmackDown and to another video promoting the return of Sin Cara, highlighting his high flying style and mysterious nature. It ends with the announcement that Sin Cara returns to SmackDown… next week!
- As the video ends we find that Alberto Del Rio is already in the ring with Ricardo Rodriguez, the fans booing him. Del Rio asks Rodriguez if he can believe this, if he can believe that these people would boo him and yet cheer for someone like Sin Cara. Ricardo shakes his head and Del Rio says that he can’t believe it either. He says that he is the only person who deserves respect and yet he doesn’t get it while the men hiding behind masks are always getting cheered. Del Rio calls it a disgrace and demands some respect only for the crowd to boo him. Del Rio snaps, screaming at the fans, asking if they want Sin Cara. They cheer and Del Rio screams that if they want Sin Cara so much then next week he’ll make sure they see him for what he truly is – a talentless coward. Del Rio drops the microphone and exits the ring, Ricardo following along after him as we cut to another video package.
- We’re showing a video package highlighting the tag team of Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd, recently dubbed International Airstrike. It intercuts between them talking and showing them in action. They talk about how they’ve not risen to their potential but that as a team they are virtually unstoppable. They say that they saved The Uso’s on RAW not because they like them but because they want what Epico & Primo have – the WWE Tag Team Championships and tonight they begin their path towards the titles.
4.) International Airstrike Defeated The Prime Time Players w/ Abraham Washington by count out. The SmackDown return of Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd was an exciting one as they came out of this looking like a million dollars. While the Prime Time Players are always entertaining they just couldn’t match Gabriel and Kidd when it came to getting the fans going as the pair hit some massive high flying spots and looked set to take the victory when AW pulled Young and Titus out of the match and led them up the ramp, saying that they don’t need this as they were counted out.
- Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd watch as the Prime Time Players leave, angry after being given such a cheap victory. International Airstrike get the crowd going, showing more charisma than we’ve ever seen from them in singles action, having picked up the victory but not in the way they would have wanted here on SmackDown.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to SmackDown and to a promotional video hyping up WWE NXT. This week’s show features a big tag team main event as Seth Rollins and Bo Dallas face off with Kassius Ohno and Mike Dalton as well as the debuts of Rick Viktor and “Your Girlfriends Favourite Tag Team” Jake Carter and Corey Graves. Three hours of great wrestling action exclusively on Friday nights on SyFy.
- We return to ringside where Heath Slater and the Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart enter. Slater says that he is out here to make a blockbuster announcement – that this Monday night he is going to be there live on RAW and that nobody is going to make a bigger splash than him! He is quickly cut off by the familiar shouts of “feed me more” as Ryback makes his entrance, leaving Slater looking shocked.
5.) Ryback Defeated Heath Slater w/ Jimmy Hart. Slater tried his best but honestly, this one wasn’t even close. Ryback ran through Slater, hitting him with the Running Lariat and then hitting Shell Shocked to pick up yet another victory.
- Ryback stomps around the ring while Jimmy Hart pulls an unconscious Slater out of the ring. Ryback gets another chant of “feed me more” going before shouting “done” as we cut away.
- We head backstage where Matt Striker is standing by with the man who will face off with World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus in just a few moments, Dolph Ziggler. Striker is looking to get a few words with Dolph Ziggler. Striker asks if this is the biggest match of his career and Ziggler laughs, saying every match he is in is the biggest match ever, because it involves him and he always steals the show. He’s cut off by Randy Orton who approaches Ziggler and tells him he doesn’t need help to beat a man like Chris Jericho and that he didn’t appreciate it. Suddenly Orton is attacked from behind by Mark Henry, Ziggler quickly leaving while Henry vicious picks Orton apart, eventually hitting a World’s Strongest Slam on the concrete floor and leaving him lying as we cut to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - Prior to the main event we get a rundown of the No Way Out card, headlined by two triple threat matches as World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defends against Mark Henry and Randy Orton while CM Punk defends the WWE Championship against both Christian and Daniel Bryan. All that and so much more at No Way Out, exclusively on pay per view on Sunday, June 17th.
6.) Sheamus Defeated Dolph Ziggler. With the knowledge that a win here would almost guarantee him a future World Heavyweight Championship Dolph Ziggler brought everything he had to this one. Sheamus of course always brings it all to every match and that meant we had a great clash on our hands, both men going at it from start to finish. The entire thing was back and forth and there were plenty of near falls. Sheamus was constantly building up to the Brogue Kick but Ziggler kept finding ways to stop him, actually ducking underneath it at one point and hitting the Zig Zag but only managed a two count. In the end Ziggler was setting up for another Zig Zag when Chris Jericho appeared and grabbed his leg. Ziggler turned and kicked Jericho away but when he turned he damn near had his head taken clean off by the Brogue Kick, Sheamus getting the pinfall and the victory.
- In a reversal of earlier tonight it’s Chris Jericho who has cost Dolph Ziggler the victory right here. Sheamus begins celebrating when Mark Henry’s music hits, the World’s Strongest Man making his way down to the ring having already taken out Randy Orton. Sheamus readies himself for a fight and as Henry enters that fight happens, the two men exploding in a physical and vicious brawl. Sheamus seems to be getting the upper hand but when he goes for the Brogue Kick Henry simply grabs his foot and pulls him in for the World’s Strongest Slam, Henry dropping Sheamus. Henry lifts Sheamus up and proceeds to hit him with the second World’s Strongest Slam. As Henry stands tall general manager John Laurinaitis appears on the big screen and proceeds to announce that in ten days he’s going to live up to the name of the pay per view by truly leaving Sheamus with No Way Out because the triple threat World Heavyweight Championship Match will be contested inside of a steel cage! There’s a stunned reaction from the crowd as Mark Henry stands tall over Sheamus and holds up the World Heavyweight Championship, the same sight we may be seeing in ten days’ time at No Way Out.

WWE News: No Way Out’s Main Event, Cesaro & Sandow Update, AJ, More…- There is currently a lot of talk amongst the writing team about which title match will headline the No Way Out pay per view. While most believe that the WWE Championship match will be the better match in terms of ring work the common opinion is that the World Heavyweight Championship match has more name value, both due to featuring Randy Orton and Mark Henry but also because of the steel cage stipulation. The current plan is for the World Heavyweight Championship match to close, but that is apparently changing on a daily basis. - As seen on this week’s SmackDown Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow are being paired together, likely as a tag team. The pair have been working recent SmackDown live events together against teams such as International Airstrike and The Uso’s and have received rave reviews. The idea is that pairing them together will not only benefit the tag team division, which has been receiving a lot of attention from Triple H in the past few months, as well as helping build them up as important parts of the main roster. Both men are considered future main event heels for the WWE and will likely be pushed up the card throughout 2012. - With AJ set to challenge for the Diva’s Championship at No Way Out there are numerous people backstage who believe that they may put the title on her at the pay per view. Officials are very high on AJ at the moment both from her ring work on live shows and how well she plays the crazy gimmick and there is some talk of rebuilding the Diva’s division around her, Beth Phoenix and Layla. - In a further update on Percy Watson’s current WWE status he was not featured on any house shows this past week and there is a feeling that it will only be a matter of time before he is wished luck in his future endeavours. Watson was already on the bubble with management as he is considered nothing more than a jobber who has passable charisma and after he nearly injured Dean Ambrose, who is considered a personal project of Triple H’s right now, it is unlikely that we will see him on WWE TV again.

A solid opening promo from World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus to address the Triple Threat match at No Way Out. Ziggler and Jericho's feud is progressing really nicely, and good set up for the two main events tonight. Though I'm not sure on having a face vs face match with Jericho and Orton. Could've been Jericho/Henry instead, but whatevs. Good win in the opening contest for Antonio Cesaro over Zack Ryder. The post match stuff was a bit confusing to me. A Cesaro/Sandow alliance sounds nice, but I'm not sure on having establishing it just yet with Cesaro chasing the United States Championship and all. Decent win for Layla against Brie Bella, did its job of making her look strong after AJ's recent attacks. I'm a bit torn on the possibility of AJ becoming Divas Champion. Part of me resents it because it would seem rushed and too soon, but the other part of me wouldn't give a sh*t because I love her so much. Good win for Randy Orton in the first hour main event over Jericho, but the finish with Dolph makes Orton seem heelish. If he had delivered an RKO to Ziggler as well, then all would've been fine. Just wasn't a big fan of it. Loved the segment with Dean Ambrose and Cactus Jack. Ambrose's promo makes me sad that this feud never fully came to fruition, because I love the whole "Foley killed a generation" idea. The result of the segment sounded brutal and sets up No Way Out nicely. Didn't like Ambrose leaving though. His character seems like he would be satisfied with Cactus' amusement with pain. More build for the inevitable Del Rio/Sin Cara feud. I enjoyed doing that program in my diary. It was quite fun and I look forward to seeing your take on it. Solid tag team bout here, and the finish was a nice way to get some heat on the Prime Time Players and AW. The hype promo for NXT certainly did get me excited. The main event tag team bout sounds great, and I always love me some Carter and Graves. More food for Ryback. Even though I'm a big fan of the guy, I'm sure by this point the squashes became tedious. Hopefully, you can find a feud for him soon. And I think Slater would be a great choice, especially with Jimmy Hart by his side. Lastly, a great main event with Sheamus going over, Jericho returning the favor to Ziggler. Not completely sold on the aftermath because after going over Sheamus clean last week, Henry didn't need to look as strong as he did here. Wow, a Steel Cage match. Could be great considering the three men involved. Though the brawling style of that match may or may not be overshadowed by the excellent wrestling that will be seen in the WWE Championship match. A solid show overall with some decision that I wasn't too keen on, but I'm ultimately left still looking forward to No Way Out.

MONDAY NIGHT RAWJune 11th 2012 - Kelly Kelly Defeated Tamina Snuka - Prime Time Players Defeated Yoshi Tatsu & Derrick BatemanCUE OPENING VIDEO - Following the video package and pyrotechnics display we head down to the announce team where Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome us to the show. They promote that this is the 994th edition of Monday Night RAW and as we barrel towards the monumental 1000th show we have plenty to look forwards to. There are just six days left to go until No Way Out and everybody is looking to build up momentum, including the man whose music interrupts the announce team, the WWE Champion CM Punk who makes his way out onto the stage to a huge pop.
- CM Punk hits the ring and begins talking about how in six days’ time he walks into New Jersey with the odds stacked against him, but that it’s nothing new. Ever since he came to the WWE the odds have been against him. Nobody thought he’d ever make it here and he did, nobody ever thought he’d win Money in the Bank and he did, nobody thought he’d ever win a World Championship and he did… five times! The crowd pop loudly as CM Punk shouts that it doesn’t matter what the odds are because he will always overcome them because he is the best in the world, which means that this Sunday he walks into New Jersey as the WWE Champion, he gets into the ring with Christian and Daniel Bryan and he beats them both and walks out of No Way Out still the WWE Champion! The crowd pop loudly once again but this time are cut off by the theme of one of Punk’s challengers this Sunday, Christian, who makes his way down to the ring to a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe much to the bemusement of the WWE Champion.
Christian enters the ring and begins telling CM Punk that he is full of crap and he knows it. He tells Punk that he has beaten the odds thus far, but that he’s never faced odds like this, he’s never faced the odds that a man like Christian brings to a WWE Championship match. Christian says that people never believed him capable of becoming World Champion either, that they believed him to be nothing more than a member of a tag team and then as the reliable star who makes everybody look good, but that he proved them all wrong, he became World Champion because he has always been the real talent. CM Punk tells him that he can have all the talent in the world but it will never be enough because he will never be better than him. They go back and forth but are soon cut off by the shouts of “No!” courtesy of Daniel Bryan. Bryan hits the ring and asks if Punk or Christian have a chance of winning this Sunday – “No!” He asks if they stand a chance of being WWE Champion after Sunday – “No!” He asks if he is going to be the next WWE Champion but before he can answer CM Punk tells him to shut up, saying that nobody cares what a midget has to say. Daniel Bryan shouts that he isn’t a midget and Christian agrees – he’s an ugly midget. Bryan shouts that he isn’t ugly – he’s handsome! The three all argue in the ring when they’re cut off by John Laurinaitis on the big screen. Laurinaitis says that he’s tried of them arguing so tonight he’s going to put a stop to it, at least between two of them, because tonight’s main event will see Christian teaming with Lord Tensai against CM Punk… and Daniel Bryan. Christian laughs, quickly exiting the ring while Daniel Bryan screams “No!” repeatedly at CM Punk who just shakes his head as RAW cuts to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to RAW with Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler recapping what we just saw – CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Christian arguing in the ring leading to a big announcement by John Laurinaitis regarding tonight’s main event. Later tonight we will see Christian & Lord Tensai team up to face off with CM Punk & Daniel Bryan exclusively on Monday Night RAW. They’re cut off by the theme of Brodus Clay, the Funkasaurus making his way to the ring for the first match of the night.
1.) Brodus Clay Defeated Big Show via count out. The opening match of the night was a big one as the Funkasaurus took on the even bigger Big Show. Ahead of his match with The Miz Big Show was looking to build up some momentum and he looked set to do exactly that. Clay put up a great fight and on any other night could have picked up a big win but Show was just vicious here. The match ended up going outside and the two brawled until the count of eight when Show hit him with the WMD. Show rolled him into the ring and went to climb in himself, only for The Miz to appear from under the ring and grab his foot, the count reaching ten and giving Clay the victory!
- Big Show pushes The Miz away with his boot as Brodus Clay is announced as the victor. A furious Show drops down and goes for the WMD on The Miz, only for the Intercontinental Champion to duck down and hit him with a dropkick to the knee, taking him down long enough for Miz to escape having got one up on Show tonight. A moment later Cody Rhodes rolls into the ring, hauls Brodus Clay up onto his feet and then drops him with Cross-Rhodes, Cody Rhodes standing tall as RAW cuts away.
- We head to the office of the general manager as John Laurinaitis is talking to Lord Tensai, who doesn’t exactly talk back. Christian enters, asking Laurinaitis what he’s playing at. The general manager plays dumb and Christian says that he knows Laurinaitis made that match to play with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, but why give him an advantage like that, what does Laurinaitis get out of it. The general manager tells Christian that maybe, just maybe, he’s picked a horse in this race, maybe he has a preference on who is the WWE Champion. Christian isn’t so sure, but seems ready to go along with it, nodding as we cut to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to RAW and to the backstage area where Abraham Washington is once again mitigating an argument between Epico, Primo & Rosa Mendes and the Prime Time Players. The WWE Tag Team Champions don’t want to team with the Prime Time Players this Sunday at No Way Out but Abraham Washington tells them that they need to calm down because they’ll be teaming together sooner than that. Washington says that tonight and on SmackDown the four teams will be splitting up into two separate tag team matches with Epico & Titus O’Neil teaming up tonight to take on Justin Gabriel & Jey Uso. The Tag Team Champions can’t believe it and stormed out while AW tells the Prime Time Players that it’s only a matter of time before they get millions of dollars! The three start chanting millions of dollars as RAW returns to ringside.
- We return to the entrance of Drew McIntyre who over the past few weeks has been attacking Santino Marella repeatedly. Drew grabs a microphone and begins talking about how when he came to the WWE he was the chosen one but that since then he’s become nothing more than a joke. McIntyre says that he can’t let that happen, that he is better than the entire WWE roster but that jokes like Santino Marella received more time that he did, and he’s the one that deserved it. Drew McIntyre says that he isn’t going to wait anymore, he’s going to take his time and prove that he deserves to be called the chosen one. He drops the microphone as Santino Marella’s music hits.
2.) Drew McIntyre Defeated Santino Marella. A very strong performance here from Drew McIntyre as he makes his return to the ring. Santino seemed fired up after being attacked the past few weeks but he just couldn’t seem to build up any real momentum and soon enough fell victim to the Future Shock DDT.
- Following the match Drew McIntyre stands, refusing to celebrate and simply shouting that this is his time. He turns to the ramp to see that Jack Swagger watched the ending of the match. He looks impressed before turning and walking to the back, leaving McIntyre confused as RAW cuts to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to RAW and to another video package promoting ‘The Million Dollar Prodigy’ Ted DiBiase and ‘The Perfect One’ Joe Hennig. It focuses on their prior success here in the WWE before they say that what they’ve had so far is nothing compared to what they’ll achieve. The Perfect Sons return to Monday Night RAW… soon!
- We head back to the catering area where Kaitlyn is seen speaking with Kelly Kelly when suddenly Kaitlyn is attacked from behind by Beth Phoenix, who slams Kaitlyn’s head into the catering table and then throws her over it. Kelly Kelly steps in between them to stop any further damage while Beth simply shouts that she has ‘had enough’ and walks off, leaving Kelly Kelly to check on a hurt Kaitlyn.
3.) The Miz Defeated Jinder Mahal via disqualification. Just like Big Show earlier The Miz was looking to build up some momentum ahead of their clash over Miz’s Intercontinental Championship this Sunday. Mahal turned out to be quite the tough opponent and this could probably be considered one of his best matches as he went toe to toe with the Intercontinental Champion. Eventually The Miz took control and looked set to have the match sown up but as he prepared to hit the Skull Crushing Finale Big Show slid into the ring and clocked him with the WMD, causing the disqualification.
- As Jinder Mahal gets to his feet Big Show nails him with the WMD as well, knocking him out cold. Show is handed a microphone and tells an unconscious Miz that after what happened between them at Over the Limit he made the mistake of thinking it was personal. Big Show says he doesn’t care about The Miz and he doesn’t care about the Intercontinental Championship, all he cares about is taking back what is his – the WWE Championship, and if he has to knock The Miz out again this Sunday then he’ll do just that. Show drops the microphone and makes his exit as RAW cuts to a commercial break.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to RAW and head backstage where Scott Stanford is attempting to get a few words with Jack Swagger about what his connection with Drew McIntyre is. Swagger smirks and tells Stanford that he was just doing a little talent scouting before pushing open a door and walking in. As the door swings shut we see that it is the office of General Manager John Laurinaitis.
- We return to ringside and to the music of Kofi Kingston as the fan favourite makes his way out to a big ovation. Kingston hits the ring and plays up to the crowd before being handed a microphone and getting to it. Kingston says that he doesn’t usually do this, he likes to let his actions speak for him, but that it’s gotten to a point that he doesn’t have any other choice. This Sunday he has a match with Kane and, as Kane explained last week, apparently it’s nothing personal. Kane just happened to pick Kofi Kingston to go after because he’s a psychopath. Kingston shouts that when Kane went after him he made it damn personal, getting a big pop from the crowd. Kofi Kingston explains that he likes being the fun loving fan favourite but that this Sunday that isn’t the Kofi Kingston we’ll be seeing. No, we’ll be seeing the Kofi Kingston who several years ago Boom Dropped Randy Orton through a table from the scaffolding, we’ll be seeing the Kofi Kingston who has won two Intercontinental Championships and we’ll be seeing the Kofi Kingston who is going to kick Kane’s ass in New Jersey! The crowd cheer again but are soon cut off by a smiling Kane on the big screen. Kane sarcastically claps and tells Kingston that it was a good speech, but that when it comes down to it it means nothing, because Kofi Kingston can’t stop him. He’s a monster, a creature of chaos and this Sunday he is going to make Kofi Kingston just another victim because that is just what he does. Kane does his hand motion and flames explode from the turnbuckle but Kofi Kingston doesn’t budge, just stares down a laughing Kane as RAW cuts to commerials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - As we return to Monday Night RAW Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler talk up a graphic highlighting this Friday Night’s big main event. In a rare match the RAW and SmackDown pay per view main events will collide as WWE Champion CM Punk, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and Randy Orton team up to take up Mark Henry, Christian and Daniel Bryan in a six man tag team match, exclusively this Friday night on SmackDown!
- As we return to ringside we see Heath Slater and Jimmy Hart already in the ring. Slater says that having the Mouth of the South managing him is great, because he reminded him that this is the 994th edition of RAW and it’s going to be remembered for a long time as the first Heath Slater open challenge! Jimmy Hart says that Slater is going to make a big impact here on RAW and all the way up to the 1000th edition of RAW which may as well be called Monday Night Slater. Heath shouts that this is his time before “It’s time, it’s time, it’s Vader time echoes around the arena”. Vader is accepting Heath Slater’s open challenge, the crowd going crazy while Slater and Jimmy Hart look absolutely shocked.
4.) Vader Defeated Heath Slater w/ Jimmy Hart. To promote the 1000th edition of RAW Vader made a big one night return. He looked pretty good in the ring and that was helped by Heath Slater who sold everything with great panache, especially the ending when Vader put Slater down with the Vader Bomb!
- Heath Slater looks like he’s been flattened as Vader gets to his feet, the crowd going crazy for the WWE legend. Vader celebrates, soaking in the atmosphere, as RAW cuts backstage.
- We head to the corridors where The Miz is heading to his locker room, holding his jaw after being knocked out by the WMD earlier in the night. He opens his locker room door and suddenly is nailed by a gigantic right hand that knocks him out once again. From the locker room Big Show emerges, laughing. He tells Miz that maybe it’s “a little bit personal” before walking off with all of the momentum just six days before they go one on one at No way Out.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return backstage where Cody Rhodes is preparing to leave the arena having got one up on Brodus Clay earlier tonight. He is interrupted by John Laurinaitis, who tells Rhodes that what he did earlier was cowardly and not what the people wanted. Rhodes tells him to look in a mirror, calling Laurinaitis the biggest coward of all and adding that Sheamus was right, he does have a really weird looking head. Laurinaitis pretends not to be bothered by his insults but tells him that the people want a straight one on one match between him and Brodus Clay and since he’s all about people power he’s going to give it to them. Next week Cody Rhodes will go one on one with Brodus Clay in a no disqualification, no count out anything goes match! Rhodes is furious but Laurinaitis tells him he should watch who he insults from now on and walks off, leaving Rhodes to throw his stuff across the room in anger as we return to ringside.
5.) Justin Gabriel & Jey Uso w/ Tyson Kidd & Jimmy Uso
Defeated Epico & Titus O’Neil w/ Abraham Washington, Primo, Rosa Mendes & Darren Young. Well this one was just crazy. With their eight man tag team match coming up at No Way Out the teams split up here looking to build some chemistry ahead of Sunday night. Things went very well for Gabriel and Jey Uso who seemed to work perfectly well together but it was the constant in fighting of All World Promotions that changed the match as Primo and Darren Young nearly came to blows on the outside, Gabriel kicked Titus O’Neil off of the apron straight into them and Jey Uso hit the Samoan Drop to pick up the victory. - Following the match The Uso’s and International Airstrike celebrate in the ring while the Prime Time Players argue with Epico & Primo on the outside, All World Promotions continuing to implode as we head towards No Way Out. - We return backstage where CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are about to head to ringside for their big tag team main event. Daniel Bryan is attempting to convince CM Punk that he should just stand in the corner and let him do the work. Punk says fine and Daniel Bryan suddenly gets paranoid, telling CM Punk that he’s trying to tire him out because he knows he can’t beat him this Sunday. Daniel Bryan asks CM Punk if he thinks it’s going to work and starts chanting “No! No! No!” over and over again, continuing to chant it as he heads towards ringside. CM Punk simply shakes his head and follows Daniel Bryan. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan take on Christian and Lord Tensai… next! COMMERCIAL BREAK - As we return to RAW we head down to the announce team of Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler as they rundown this Sunday’s big No Way Out pay per view featuring CM Punk defending the WWE Championship against Christian and Daniel Bryan, a triple threat steel cage match for the World Heavyweight Championship as Sheamus defends against Randy Orton and Mark Henry, The Miz defending his Intercontinental Championship against Big Show and a New Jersey Street Fight between Dean Ambrose and Cactus Jack. There’ll also be great action as Dolph Ziggler battles Chris Jericho, Kane and Kofi Kingston finally go toe to toe, an eight man tag team match as WWE Tag Team Champions Epico & Primo attempt to work together with the Prime Time Players against The Uso’s & International Airstrike while Layla defends the WWE Diva’s Championship against AJ. All that exclusively on pay per view this Sunday at No Way Out! 6.) Christian & Lord Tensai Defeated CM Punk & Daniel Bryan. With just six days to go this one was always going to be dramatic and that is exactly what we got. While Christian & Lord Tensai seemed to be a very solid team with Christian’s technical skills working well with Tensai’s pure strength and power the team of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, who have to be considered an indy dream team, just continued to argue, blind tagging each other in and constantly getting in each other’s ways. The only time they actually worked together was when they were attempting to one up each other and that soon came to an end when Punk accidentally struck Bryan with a kick to the head. Bryan came back in and slapped Punk across the face causing the WWE Champion to lift him up and drop Bryan with the GTS! Christian quickly threw Punk out of the ring where Tensai nailed him with a Bicycle Kick allowing Christian to cover Daniel Bryan and steal the victory! - Christian is straight up as he and Lord Tensai are announced the victors having used CM Punk and Daniel Bryan’s animosity against them here tonight on Monday Night RAW. As RAW comes to an end Christian stands atop the turnbuckle holding up the WWE Championship with both of his opponents for No Way Out down and out. Could this be the same sight we see this Sunday?[/blockquote]

WWE News: Brock Lesnar at RAW, Vader & RAW 1000, Roster Cuts, More…- Brock Lesnar was spotted arriving at the arena for this week’s edition of RAW, reportedly to have a meeting with creative and Triple H regarding his return to the ring sometime in the next few months. There’s a good chance that he could feature in a match at Money in the Bank although a Summerslam in ring return is much more likely with current plans. Still no word on who his opponent will be though obvious possibilities are John Cena and Triple H. - Vader made an unadvertised appearance on this week’s edition of RAW in a winning effort over Heath Slater. It is likely that this is down to the upcoming 1000th edition of Monday Night RAW which will take place on July 23rd. With the plan to be to bring back a number of legends from the past on RAW 1000 it is likely that this will be promoted with numerous appearances from legends in the upcoming weeks. - It is highly expected for there to be further roster cuts next week following the No Way Out pay per view. The feeling backstage is that anyone who isn’t considered a money maker could be cut due to the amount of talent in development and the hope amongst the higher ups is that people will attempt to step up in the next few weeks in order to keep their jobs. - Having signed a development deal with World Wrestling Entertainment a few weeks back Tom La Ruffa made his Florida Championship Wrestling debut during a FCW live show this past week, picking up a victory over Big E Langston. La Ruffa is considered to have a very good look and solid ring work though his mic skills need a little work, and nobody would be surprised to see him feature on NXT sometime this year. - Confirmed for this week’s Friday Night SmackDown is a blockbuster main event featuring WWE Champion CM Punk, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and Randy Orton against Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan and Christian in a six man tag team match.

WWE NXTJune 15th 2012CUE OPENING VIDEO - NXT kicks off this week as we head down to our announce team of Byron Saxton, William Regal and Jim Ross. They welcome us to the show and promote that here tonight we have a big tag team main event as Bo Dallas and Seth Rollins take on Kassius Ohno and Mike Dalton, plus the debut of talents like Jake Carter & Corey Graves, Leo Kruger and Rick Viktor as they attempt to prove themselves as the next big thing in WWE. They’re cut off by the theme of “Your Girlfriend’s Favourite Tag Team” Jake Carter & Corey Graves.
- Jake Carter & Corey Graves make their way out onto the ramp accompanied by a blonde woman who introduced herself as Miss Valentine (some recognised her as Lizzy Valentine, dressed very similar to how she did during her WSX run). Valentine introduces herself as the advisor to Jake Carter & Corey Graves and the women who will make them into stars. Jake Carter takes the microphone, declaring themselves the future of the WWE and that they’ll soon take the WWE Tag Team Championships and, looking at a woman in the crowd, all of the perks that come with it. The two hit the ring where Dante Dash and Jiro are already waiting for the upcoming match.
1.) Jake Carter & Corey Graves w/ Miss Valentine Defeated Dante Dash & Jiro. The team of Jake Carter & Corey Graves are certainly going to be an interesting addition to NXT, proving both great wrestling and some very entertaining sleazy behaviour. The match itself was solid, both Dash and Jiro are green but have plenty of potential, and Graves and Carter came out of this one looking like stars, which was certainly helped by the beautiful Miss Valentine at ringside. In the end Graves connected with the MK Ultra on Dash, getting the pinfall while Carter knocked Jiro out of the ring.
- Jake Carter & Corey Graves celebrate the victory before going outside of the ring, both of them flirting with different women in the crowd before being pulled away by Miss Valentine who seems to remind them that they can flirt when they’re champions, leading them up the ramp as NXT cuts away.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to NXT and to a video package starting with a low budget title – “Brad Maddox’s NXT Primetime Update!” We’re taken to what appears to be a handheld recording of Brad Maddox, who introduces his cameraman Briley Pierce before taking us on a tour of the NXT locker room. He points out Richie Steamboat’s locker and starts going through it, throwing his stuff all over the place and calling it all boring, which makes sense Maddox adds, because Richie Steamboat is just as boring. Then he goes to his locker and starts pulling out obviously planted ‘interesting’ things such as a (fake) million dollar note, a copy of his own movie The Referee and a signed copy of a photo of The Rock, because he and Maddox are “like, best bros”. Maddox ends the segment by saying that he ends the update with a very important moral, that just like their stuff he is cool and Richie Steamboat just isn’t. “Back to you guys at ringside!”
2.) Leo Kruger Defeated Percy Watson. Leo Kruger had a big challenge in his NXT debut, facing off against SmackDown star Percy Watson. Kruger has this very intense Wildman gimmick going on and it was both entertaining but slightly frightening at the same time. Percy Watson brought it as well but he just couldn’t match the freakish Kruger and the South African soon got the victory with the Kruger’s end.
- Leo Kruger stands over Percy Watson, putting his foot on the chest of the SmackDown star to a chorus of boos from the crowd. The announce team put over how Kruger is freakishly strong and will be a force to be reckoned with here in NXT.
- We see a promotional video hyping Friday Night SmackDown, spotlighting the big main event of WWE Champion CM Punk, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and Randy Orton teaming up to face Mark Henry, Christian and Daniel Bryan. This huge main event will feature exclusively on Friday Night SmackDown straight after NXT. Three hours of great wrestling every Friday Nights on SyFy!
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to the ring where Heath Slater is already in the ring. Slater is still complaining about his loss to Richie Steamboat last week saying that Steamboat cheated because there is no other way that he can beat the One Man Band. Slater begins slating (pun intended) Steamboat which brings out the second generation superstar to confront him. Steamboat enters the ring and tells Heath Slater that here in NXT it’s about proving yourself, not about complaining and whining. Steamboat says that the legends of the past didn’t get anywhere by moaning about their losses, they did it by focusing on their next victory! The fans pop and Richie Steamboat says that they want to see action, not Slater whining so how about next week he comes back to Fall Sail University and he faces him in this ring one more time! Heath Slater, obviously not wanting to be embarrassed, accepts the challenge telling Steamboat that next week he’ll be hearing one thing, and that’s the One Man Band as he plays his victory song. Slater leaves the ring as Steamboat watches him go, these two will go one on one next week on NXT.
- We get a video highlighting NXT superstar Rick Viktor (for those paying attention, Victor is now using a K in his name instead of a C). It highlights Viktor’s ring skills while the man himself explains that he is not only a phenomenal athlete but also a vicious tactician. He explains that when he enters the ring he always knows how to pinpoint somebodies weakness and then tear it apart. Viktor states that here in NXT he'll rise to the top by picking apart the competition and that if he sees the first opportunity to get onto the main roster, he’ll be the only one smart enough to snatch it away. Rick Viktor debuts… next!
3.) Rick Viktor Defeated Johnny Curtis. Well Viktor wasn’t kidding, he’s absolutely vicious when it comes to his game plan. He came into this knowing that he needed a win to make his mark on the NXT audience and that was all he cared about as he picked Curtis apart, focusing on his knee throughout the match. Curtis attempted to fight back but every time he seemed set to build up any momentum Viktor just put him down with another shot to his knee. Viktor eventually put an injured Curtis out of his misery with the Stretch Muffler on the injured knee.
- As the referee checks on Johnny Curtis, who is having a problem with his knee after the vicious assault, Rick Viktor simply stands there for a moment and then walks out of the ring, the announce team questioning whether we have just witnessed the birth of a new cerebral assassin as NXT heads to a commercial.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - Prior to our main event we’re treated to two split interviews from the two teams. Bo Dallas and Seth Rollins talk about how last week Kassius Ohno showed no respect and proved himself as a pathetic coward and that here tonight they’re going to shut him up before he can embarrass himself anymore. Mike Dalton does most of the talking for his team claiming that he and Kassius Ohno are the most dangerous and dashing team that NXT will ever see. He glances back at Ohno and his beard and adds that at least one of them is dashing. Kassius Ohno cuts in at the end and shouts that when people see them coming they’ll be shouting oh no! Ohno walks off and Dalton simply adds “yeah, whatever he said” and heads off as we return to ringside.
4.) Bo Dallas & Seth Rollins Defeated Kassius Ohno & Mike Dalton. For the third week in a row NXT provides a match that could very easily belong on a WWE pay per view. These four men brought everything to this match and put on one of the best tag team contests we’ve seen so far in 2012. The back and forth between Seth Rollins and Kassius Ohno was the obvious highlight of the match though Mike Dalton’s technical skills and Bo Dallas’ energy and very impressive pace were just as impressive. In the end Ohno and Dalton attempted to double team Seth Rollins causing Bo Dallas to get involved, clotheslining Ohno with such force that it took them both over the top rope, leaving Rollins to connect with the Avada Kedavra out of nowhere to take the pinfall and the victory.
- As Seth Rollins and Bo Dallas are declared the victor Kassius Ohno comes out of nowhere with a vicious rolling elbow to the skull of Bo Dallas on the outside. Dallas hits the floor and Rollins exits the ring, forcing Ohno to back up. NXT goes off the air with Seth Rollins and Kassius Ohno staring each other down on the outside of the ring as things continue to heat up here on the sixth season of NXT.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWNJune 15th 2012 - Natalya Defeated Alicia Fox - Percy Watson & JTG Defeated Curt Hawkins & Tyler ReksCUE OPENING VIDEO - Following the opening video and pyrotechnics display we head down to our announce team of Michael Cole, Booker T and Josh Matthews who welcome us to Friday Night SmackDown. We are just two days away from No Way Out in New Jersey and everyone is looking to build up momentum ahead of the pay per view. Here tonight we have one of the biggest main events in SmackDown history as No Way Out’s two World title matches collide in a six man tag team match, WWE Champion CM Punk, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and Randy Orton taking on Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan and Christian. Plus a first time ever match as Chris Jericho goes one on one with Dean Ambrose just days before their respective pay per view matches. Before they can continue they are cut off by the theme of the WWE Champion, the crowd exploding as CM Punk makes his way down to ringside.
- CM Punk hits the ring to a huge ovation. He says that it’s good to be back on SmackDown and that it must be good for them all to see him back because tonight they’re putting on the biggest main event that this show has ever seen. The crowd cheer as Punk says that tonight is about something else – it’s about proving that he isn’t just the best on RAW, he’s the best in the world! Tonight he teams with Sheamus and Randy Orton and he’s going to outshine both of them because that’s just what he does, and he faces Mark Henry, Christian and Daniel Bryan and he beats them all, because that’s just who he is. He begins ripping into his opponents, saying that Christian is as charismatic as Daniel Bryan is delusional and that Mark Henry claims to be the World’s Strongest Man but that he couldn’t beat Sheamus at Over the Limit and definitely won’t be able to beat both Sheamus and Randy Orton this Sunday at No Way Out. This inevitably brings out Mark Henry, the World’s Strongest Man along with Abraham Washington joining CM Punk in the ring.
Henry and Punk go toe to toe as Mark Henry snatches a microphone out of the hands of AW before he can speak. Henry tells CM Punk that he does a lot of talking but that he has always believed that actions speak louder than words. Henry says that this Sunday he takes back what is rightfully his when he crushes Sheamus and batters Randy Orton inside of a steel cage but before that he is going to make sure CM Punk doesn’t even make it to No Way Out. Punk tells Henry that it’s a good thing he doesn’t do a lot of talking, because he is bad at it. Henry tells Punk to keep making jokes because tonight he’s going to shut him up for good. Henry suddenly grabs Punk by the collar of his T-shirt, bringing him in close and screaming “I will end you, understand?” and throwing Punk to the ground. Punk rolls out of the ring a little bit shaken but grabs his microphone and tells Henry that he’ll see him in the ring tonight before telling him to turn around. Henry does so and he’s taking out by a huge Brogue Kick, Sheamus sneaking into the ring and taking Mark Henry out! Abraham Washington quickly exits the ring as Sheamus stands over Mark Henry ahead of tonight’s massive main event.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to SmackDown with the announce team recapping what we just saw between CM Punk, Mark Henry and Sheamus. They hype tonight’s big six man tag team match before also revealing that later tonight we will also see Sin Cara return to SmackDown.
- They’re cut off by the theme of Damien Sandow as the Intellectual Saviour of the Masses heads towards the ring alongside Antonio Cesaro and Aksana. As they’re walking to the ring we’re shown a recap of last week when Sandow and Cesaro seemingly allied with each other to take out David Otunga. The pair hit the ring with Damien Sandow starting off by saying that it is about time these people started talking about things that matter, and by that he of course means himself and Antonio Cesaro. Sandow says that everybody wants to know why he helped Antonio Cesaro last week and he says that should be evident just by looking at them, Antonio Cesaro is an intellectual like him. He speaks five languages, he is cultured unlike the miscreants in the back. Antonio Cesaro proceeds to say the same word in five languages, tonight’s word being ‘intelligence’, they possess it and people like David Otunga simply claim to have it. That is why their first task as allies is to remove the United States Championship from his possession. Sandow tells Otunga to think it through even if that may be difficult for him, and to choose which of them he wants to relieve him of his title. They are cut off by Zack Ryder & R-Truth much to their disdain, we have a match and it’s taking place right now!
1.) Damien Sandow & Antonio Cesaro w/ Aksana Defeated R-Truth & Zack Ryder. Sandow and Cesaro don’t have a lot of experience as a tag team but that didn’t seem to matter tonight as they were clearly superior in this match. Despite the best efforts of Truth & Ryder they just couldn’t outdo the intelligence and pure skill of their opponents, and Cesaro soon pinned Ryder following the Neautralizer.
- Following the match, as Sandow and Antonio Cesaro celebrate ‘with class’ in the ring they’re cut off by David Otunga, who sarcastically congratulates them. He tells them that they are clearly smart men, but what wasn’t smart was letting him choose who he wants to defend his title against. Otunga says that he is going to start with the weakest and that is clearly Damien Sandow, so next week it will be David Otunga against Damien Sandow for the United States Championship live on SmackDown! The crowd cheer as Cesaro attempts to reassure Sandow that he isn’t the ‘weakest’ as we cut to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to SmackDown where we see Damien Sandow, Antonio Cesaro and Aksana now backstage. Sandow is furious – “how dare he call me the weakest?” Cesaro tells him that it is just his crass way of attempting to cause dissent between them. Sandow says that it won’t work and that next week he will relieve Otunga of the United States Championship and bring prestige back to the title thanks to their superior intellect. Cesaro agrees, saying that once they have the United States Championship they can continue to show the WWE Universe what class really is. Sandow, Cesaro and Aksana walk off, seemingly on the same page as SmackDown continues.
- We’re shown a match graphic reminding us that at No Way Out Layla will defend the WWE Diva’s Championship against AJ.
2.) Beth Phoenix & AJ Defeated Layla & Kaitlyn. Two of WWE’s more heated Diva rivalries clashed here in a very solid Diva’s tag team match. Beth was looking to embarrass Kaitlyn but actually came close to being pinned before AJ made the blind tag, hitting Kaitlyn with the Shining Wizard and stealing the victory.
- Beth Phoenix seems furious that AJ just tagged herself in but AJ seems oblivious, skipping around the ring and signalling to Layla that she is coming for her Diva’s Championship. Layla couldn’t help but look a little concerned as she is just two days away from defending the title against the ‘not quite there’ AJ.
- We return backstage where Alberto Del Rio is seen in his locker room speaking with Ricardo Rodriguez. He asks if Rodriguez has seen Sin Cara in the back yet and Rodriguez insists that he hasn’t, Del Rio arrogantly claiming that Sin Cara clearly heard him last week when he said he’d prove him to be a coward and hasn’t turned up. Ricardo acts as if that’s what he thinks as well. Del Rio suddenly gets serious and says that if Sin Cara does show up, he’s going to wish he had never returned at all. Del Rio walks out of the locker room as Ricardo Rodriguez sits down. He finds a package under his seat with his name on it and opens it up, pulling out an odd red luchadore mask. He seems shocked to have found it and quickly hides it when Del Rio walks in having forgot his drink. Del Rio asks what Ricardo is looking so weird about but Ricardo denies it. Del Rio just tells him that he’s weird before walking out once again, leaving Ricardo to stare at the red mask as SmackDown cuts away.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to SmackDown and to a promotional video hyping the return of the spectacular Sin Cara tonight on SmackDown!
- We cut to a dark room. A few moments pass before the camera draws in on a man sitting in the corner of the room. It’s Cactus Jack, swaying back and forth. Cactus Jack says that in two days he gets to unleash again, he gets to be the man that he has always loved to be but had to keep bottled up. He’s been bottled up too long, held inside because there was never a place for him outside of wrestling, but in New Jersey he gets to come back just for one night but that it’s going to be the most memorable night of the year because it’s the night that he ends Dean Ambrose, it’s the night he rips and tears at the flesh of Ambrose until all that is left is a bloody heap in the middle of the ring. He says that No Way Out may as well be called massacre in New Jersey, because that’s what it’s going to be. “Bang bang!”
3.) Chris Jericho Defeated Dean Ambrose via disqualification. This was a pretty big first time ever match considering the role that Dean Ambrose has been on since debuting. While Jericho had the edge thanks to his experience Ambrose really took him to the limit and came close to winning a number of times. Jericho eventually managed to lock in the Walls of Jericho and looked to have things tied up but Ambrose just wouldn’t tap, and he held on long enough for Dolph Ziggler to slide into the ring attack Jericho from behind, ending the match.
- As the official calls for the disqualification Dolph Ziggler continues to beat down Jericho. Ambrose gets to his feet and sees what has just happened and actually attacks Ziggler, going crazy over how Ziggler ‘cost’ him the match. This is quickly put to a stop as Ziggler manages to escape from the ring and Cactus Jack makes an appearance, sliding out from under the ring with a steel chair and going after Dean Ambrose. Ambrose turns around and walks straight into a chair shot from Cactus Jack, managing to roll out of the ring before any further damage can be done.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return backstage where assistant general manager Eve is going over some things in her office. The door opens and she complains about being interrupted before looking up and finding Ryback standing over here. She doesn’t know what to say but Ryback does – “Feed me more, feed me better!” Eve manages to get out some words, promising Ryback a real opponent tonight, somebody that she has just organized to join SmackDown from RAW. Ryback seems satisfied, staring at Eve for a moment before walking out, Eve looking relieved that he has left.
- We return to the ring when the lights all go out and the music of Sin Cara plays. The crowd give a decent pop as Sin Cara appears on the stage, sprints to the ring and leaps into the ring in his signature style. The announce team hype that this is the first time we have seen Sin Cara since he was injured at Survivor Series. Sin Cara stands on the turnbuckle and everybody is expecting to see him wrestle when the music of Alberto Del Rio plays drawing a lot of heat as Del Rio walks out onto the stage claiming this to be an absolute travesty. He says that it is disgusting that they all cheer this walking injury and yet boo him, a man who deserves respect. Del Rio claims that the WWE Universe clearly doesn’t understand talent and pride because he has it and Sin Cara simply doesn’t. Del Rio enters the ring and starts talking directly to Sin Cara, asking him who he thinks he is, why he thinks he can just come in here and take the spotlight that belongs to him. Del Rio says that he is hiding under that mask because he’s ashamed to be seen before saying that Sin Cara probably doesn’t even understand what he’s saying. Sin Cara actually snatches the microphone out of his hand and says, in very broken English, “I… understand” and levels Del Rio with a right hand. Del Rio is staggered and then sent to the mat by a dropkick. Del Rio scrambles to his feet but is then hit with a hurricanrana that sends him flying over the top rope to the outside. Del Rio looks shocked on the outside as Sin Cara stands tall having taught Del Rio a lesson in respect tonight on SmackDown.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to SmackDown and to a graphic that shows a match just announced by assistant general manager Eve. Next week on SmackDown Alberto Del Rio will go one on one… with Sin Cara!
- We head backstage where CM Punk and Sheamus are shown in the locker room, looking like they’re on the same page ahead of their six man tag team match later tonight both talking about how John Laurinaitis is trying to screw them out of their titles. Punk says that it won’t be long before Laurinaitis is out of a job and Sheamus says that when that happens the drinks are on him. In walks Randy Orton who stares at them both. He says that he isn’t happy about tonight, that he doesn’t like teaming with them because he’d much rather kick both of their asses. He hasn’t forgotten about his past problems with Punk and he fully intends to take the World Heavyweight Championship from Sheamus this Sunday. Sheamus tells him that he can ‘intend’ all he likes, he’ll fight until his last breath to keep this title. Randy Orton says that he’s fine if that is what it is going to take. He tells them that tonight, he intends to win this match but that after that bell rings then all bets are off. Orton walks off leaving Punk to simply say “that guy has problems” and Sheamus to laugh, though it’s clear he is fully focused on Orton ahead of their triple threat steel cage match this Sunday.
4.) Tyson Kidd & Jimmy Uso w/ Justin Gabriel & Jey Uso Defeated Darren Young & Primo w/ All World Promotions. In the second of this week’s two mix up tag team matches the men involved in this Sunday’s eight man tag team match took each other on. Once again it proved to be the problems between the All World Promotions teammates that proved their undoing as Young accidentally struck Primo allowing Jimmy Uso to his the Samoan Drop on Young and get the pinfall for the victory.
- Following the match International Airstrike and The Uso’s exit the ring, backing up the ramp celebrating, clearly on the same page as they head towards the eight man tag team match at No Way Out. One team not on the same page is that of the Prime Time Players and Epico & Primo, the two teams erupting into a heated argument in the ring only avoiding coming to blows thanks to Abraham Washington talking them down.
- We return backstage where Matt Striker is standing by with Dolph Ziggler, looking to get a few words on his match this Sunday against Chris Jericho. Ziggler starts off by saying that he needs to bring up how much of a psycho Dean Ambrose is, saying that he doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near him. He moves onto Jericho, saying that back in the day Jericho would have seen him coming and gone on to win the match, but he’s not that man anymore, he’s less, he’s old and incapable of making the impact that he once did. This Sunday he proves that Chris Jericho can’t win the big one and that he is the one to watch here in the WWE.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We return to SmackDown and head back down to the announce team who rundown this Sunday’s No Way Out pay per view. As the WWe heads to New Jersey we will see CM Punk defend the WWE Championship against Christian and Daniel Bryan, a triple threat steel cage match for the World Heavyweight Championship as Sheamus defends against Randy Orton and Mark Henry, The Miz defending his Intercontinental Championship against Big Show and a New Jersey Street Fight between Dean Ambrose and Cactus Jack.
- We head to the ring as Ryback makes his signature entrance, getting the crowd going in a chant of “feed me more!” He is soon cut off by the theme of the latest star to move over to SmackDown – Jinder Mahal. Mahal walks out to a lot of heat talking about how Ryback is nothing but than another monster for him to slay just like he did to The Great Khali. Mahal tells Ryback that the only thing that is getting fed tonight is his reputation as the next World Heavyweight Champion when he does what nobody else has managed and defeats Ryback.
5.) Ryback Defeated Jinder Mahal via disqualification. Jinder Mahal made his return to SmackDown here but he chose the worst possible way to do it against the undefeated Ryback. While Mahal put up a much better fight than anybody we’ve seen so far even he didn’t look like beating the monster and in the end had to resort to grabbing a steel chair and attacking Ryback with it, forcing the disqualification.
- Mahal slams the chair into Ryback’s back but the monster simply turns around, wide eyed. Mahal throws the chair at Ryback but he just bats it away, though it gives Mahal enough time to escape under the ropes and high tail it up the ramp. Ryback begins chanting “feed me Jinder” as Mahal tries not to look terrified as we cut away.
- We head to the back where Christian and Daniel Bryan are shown arguing in the locker room about who is going to be WWE Champion, both men basically just going over and over with “no, I’m going to be the next WWE Champion.” After a few seconds of just this both men jump out of their skin as Mark Henry enters and roars “enough!” Both men stare at Mark Henry as the World’s Strongest Man tells them to get it together because he intends to win tonight and if they mess that up for him, then he’s going to put both of them in his hall of pain. Henry walks out leaving Daniel Bryan to simply state that he is “intense.” Christian simply nods as SmackDown cuts to commercials.
COMMERCIAL BREAK - We get another promotional video for No Way Out, this Sunday exclusively on pay per view.
6.) CM Punk, Sheamus & Randy Orton Defeated Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan & Christian. This was possibly the biggest main event on SmackDown in recent memory as both of No Way Out’s world title triple threat matches exploded, and that was what this was. Everybody just went at it with plenty of time given for all six men to show their stuff and look pretty even. The altercations between Sheamus & Henry and Punk & Bryan were particular highlights. In the end all hell broke loose as all six men began going at it. Punk and Bryan brawled on the outside while Orton delivered the RKO to Christian. Henry came into the ring only for Sheamus to go for the Brogue Kick, Henry dodging and Sheamus hitting Orton instead. Henry went for the World’s Strongest Slam but Sheamus fought out, clotheslining Henry over the top rope. Punk and Bryan came back into the ring with Punk managing to connect with the GTS, Bryan bouncing off of the knee and straight into a Brogue Kick from Sheamus, the Great White, pinning Bryan to take the victory!
- The crowd go crazy as Sheamus and CM Punk stand tall in the ring following this huge match. Daniel Bryan is down in the ring while Christian is dazed on the outside having took the RKO. Mark Henry gets to his feet, looking furious that his team lost but by far the most interesting scene is Randy Orton who gets to his feet in the ring, holding his jaw from the inadvertent Brogue Kick. Sheamus looks apologetic and holds out his hand for a handshake. Orton waits a moment, then takes the hand, suddenly pulling Sheamus in for an RKO! Orton drops Sheamus with the RKO! SmackDown goes off the air with the shocking sight of Randy Orton and CM Punk being the last men standing just two days before their respective triple threat matches at No Way Out.

RAW: 6/11/12 Good opening segment with the three men who compete in the WWE Championship match on Sunday. Made me realize how all of them were considered underdogs, yet rose to the top. The exchanges with Bryan were also hilarious. Since I'm expecting Punk to retain, I would love to see a Christian/Bryan feud going forward, whether it be with the both of them as heels or someone turns. Punk and Bryan are clearly at a disadvantage in the main event. Should be interesting to see what happens. Decent match between the two big men, Big Show and Brodus Clay, to kick things off. The Countout finish was fine, though I didn't like Miz escaping. With him being a face, it only makes him look more weak than strong. Good win for Drew McIntyre over Santino Marella. I'm not very big on McIntyre, but he is talented and I hate to see that talent be underutilized, so I'm glad you're giving him the opportunity. Jack Swagger? Another tag team on our hands? If that's what you're going for, I love it. Now it's two underutilized talents being given a shot. Liked the DQ finish here, now Show looks dominant having knocked out both Miz and Jinder Mahal. What I hated though was Show saying he doesn't care about the Intercontinental Championship. If one of the competitors in that match doesn't care about the prize, why should the paying customers care? I'm liking this feud between Kane and Kofi Kingston. Two contrasting styles that I feel would be able to put on a solid match, so I do look forward to that at No Way Out. Sweet, the Heath Slater legend challenges! Loved these in real life, so I imagine here won't be any different. Good start with Vader getting the win. Curious to see who you bring in next for the One Man Band. Love this concept of tag team partners being switched up before the big Eight Man Tag on Sunday. The faces going over here is fine, as long as the heel team gets the win on SmackDown to even things up. As expected, Punk and Bryan's tension leads to Christian and Tensai's victory in the main event. Christian standing tall is a fine closing image as he's the least likely of the three competitors to leave No Way Out as the WWE Champion. Overall, a solid edition of RAW. A few bumps along I felt, mainly with the execution of Miz and Big Show segments.
NXT: 6/15/12 Lovely start to the show with Corey Graves and Jake Carter. I will never forgive whoever made the call to split them as a team in real life because I feel they have the potential to be a seriously damn good team. Lizzy Valentine being with them is interesting, though I'm not sure if her preppy WSX look fits with Graves and Carter's image. I have a man crush on Brad Maddox, and this was a perfectly executed promo I felt to introduce his character, and Briley Pierce as his cameraman/companion/bitch. A feud with Richie Steamboat is perfectly fine with me. Excellent work there. I personally cannot stand Leo Kruger, so I'm not too big on him being showcased here. I guess he can make it far on NXT, but I would rather not see that happen. HUGE main event for SmackDown, looking forward to it. Decent in ring stuff with Heath Slater and Richie Steamboat. Slater needs the victory next week, hopefully with a little assistance from Maddox. Ugh, another showcased superstar I cannot stand. Not your fault, I just can't find anything interesting about Rick Viktor. Especially when he's going over one of my boys in Johnny Curtis. Lastly, an excellent tag team main event here with Seth Rollins and Bo Dallas getting the victory. I honestly have strong hopes for NXT's main event scene if these four are running it. We already know how good Rollins and Ohno are, and Dalton could be the breakout star of the show. And then there's Bo Dallas.....yeah. Overall, a great NXT. Being such a huge mark for this show, I love what you're doing with it.
SmackDown 6/15/12 Good way to start a huge edition of SmackDown with CM Punk, leading into Mark Henry's interruption. A good segment with the two of them, or three of them with Sheamus getting involved. Good opening contest with the new alliance of Damien Sandow and Antonio Cesaro getting the victory. David Otunga defending the United States Championship against Sandow next week is fine, but I didn't like Otunga choosing him because he is the "weaker link." Otunga's a pretty strong guy, and as a face, I felt this didn't look very good on his part. Good Divas tag team bout here, and glad AJ and Beth Phoenix got the victory. Could see Beth turning face after that finish, and it seems to me that AJ won't be leaving No Way Out as the Divas Champion. Liked Cactus Jack's promo, furthering the build for his match with Dean Ambrose at No Way Out. What I want to see is how far you'll push the envelope with that match. It seems like it's gearing up to be quite a PG-contrasting bout. Huge first hour main event with Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose. A dream match of mines. Good call for the DQ finish to keep both men strong heading into their big matches on Sunday. Good to see Sin Cara return, even better to see Alberto Del Rio get involved. As I said before, this was a really fun feud when I did it, and I imagine you'll do great things with it. Oh wow, the face team went over again. Not sure on that, though it does further the tension in All World Promotions, which is the main storyline within the Eight Man Tag heading into Sunday. Not liking two DQ finishes in one night. At least Ryback has his first feud, it seems. Finally, huge main event victory for the face team. Lovely aftermath with the World Heavyweight Championship match exploding and Orton standing tall. Seriously hoping we see Mark Henry regain the World Title. Craving a Hall of Pain, take two. A good SmackDown overall, not too much to complain about. No Way Out looks great, and I can't wait for it.

WWE News: Paul Heyman in New Jersey, SmackDown Rating, Roster Changes, More…- In what could be a very interesting coincidence Paul Heyman was spotted arriving in New Jersey this morning, the very location of tonight’s No Way Out pay per view. There has reportedly been some discussion between WWE officials and Paul Heyman in the past few weeks though many expected it just to be a deal to feature on WWE DVD’s. If there is any further news on Heyman we will keep you updated. - Early reports on this week’s SmackDown rating is that it has done very well thanks to the big six man tag team main event and may end up being one of the best ratings of the year. There’s a possibility that this could lead to more crossover between the brands when it comes to main events such as this although it will likely just be as a special attraction as most want to keep the brand split active due to the ability to give more superstars more time. - As announced on SmackDown Jinder Mahal has officially joined SmackDown from RAW. In other roster news Heath Slater and Jimmy Hart are now listed as members of the RAW roster. Both men appeared on this week’s RAW and it appears that will continue in the weeks to come. - Lizzy Valentine made her official WWE debut this week under the name Miss Valentine as the valet for Jake Carter & Corey Graves. The trio have been working FCW live shows together in the past few weeks to rave reviews from the FCW trainers. Many backstage believe that Lizzy Valentine is a very solid talker and that she has both looks and decent ring skills so we may be seeing her transition to an in ring role over the next few months. - In FCW news Richie Steamboat recently dropped the FCW 15 Championship to Mike Dalton. Dalton has been receiving great reviews for his recent work and the feeling is that he could be brought up to the main roster sooner rather than later.
