Current TNA star and former WWE talent Matt Morgan recently did an interview with PWTorch, in which he discussed the end of his contract and interest in a WWE return.
"I have another year left on my contract with TNA," he said. "My fifth of five years. I signed a five year deal with them four years ago. I believe in October it will be up. The way it works is I'm a businessman first and foremost, right? And you try to keep your options open as much as humanly possible. I did start with WWE. They gave me a lot of tools and a lot of knowledge and I was trained by some of the best big men this business has ever had and learned a lot of things from those people over there in WWE. So I was very very lucky."
On a return to WWE Morgan commented, "To say I wouldn't go back would be dumb on my part and it would be a lie," ... "But speaking right now, I'm happy for the most part with how TNA has been treating me and they've done a really good job with me the last four years."

I'm sure he'll stay with TNA.

I really hope so. How he's never become a world champion in TNA baffles me sometimes. He's always fitted WWE's mould of a superstar, so I'd welcome him back with open arms.

I think TNA has made him look so weak it might be difficult to rebuild his character.

I think TNA has made him look so weak it might be difficult to rebuild his character. WWE will not care what TNA has done, they go in assuming fans don't watch TNA.

Id love to see Morgan come back. I feel he was the best rookie bigman they brought in the "hire any big dude that might be the next Brock" era. Over the years he has become a good wrestler & has pretty good mic skills. WWE needs more Main Event level faces and i think he would fit perfectly in todays WWE. Love to see matches vs Brock, & vs Sheamus.

If WWE doesn't make him a monster heel that we'll see in like a feud with Punk and then Cena..and then he'll go to jobbing and eventually be released then I'm all for him returning

I think he really came into his own when TNA pushed him with that Blueprint gimmick. His ring work improved as a result of getting in the ring with better competition and now that he had finally been given a gimmick, he really improved on the mic. I'd be for it. Haha.

Him being back in the "E" would be the best move he could make, he's getting older, and its the best move. He's still young enough to be their new top guy, and compete at a high level. His personality and charisma have exploded over the past few years, his blye print character is great for the "E". Here's to hoping he returns!

I think TNA has made him look so weak it might be difficult to rebuild his character. You gotta keep in mind that lots of WWE fans (like me), don't even watch TNA. So he doesn't look weak at all in my eyes. I haven't watched TNA in probably about 2 years. No offense to to TNA or it's fans, but what happens over there is kinda irrelevant in a sense.

I think he stands out in TNA and could be a suitable World Champion for them, but if he returned to WWE he would simply fade into obscurity. He'll become US or IC champ, but I don't ever see him winning the WHC or WWE title. Not to say he isn't talented enough, it's just I don't think he has that "X" factor that a WWE champ needs to have in order to connect with fans and get super over that's all. Wish him the best of luck whatever he decides to do and I hope he proves me wrong.

I think he's generic and boring While I agree with this, I liked how he conducted himself in that interview. He was cordial, professional and smart about it.

I love him in TNA, but considering that in a year the WWE will be back to their boring and weak main event scene that they had throughout 2011, I wouldn't mind him back. As long as Vince treated him right, which is questionable, he'd fit right into the main event. For a seven footer, the guy can really move and is better than alot of other big men on the mic. Considering WWE main event heels like Miz and Del Rio have flopped big over the last year, the WWE would be stupid to pass up on this guy to be a top heel.

I beleave his success in the WWE would depend on creative and booking.
He has all he needs to be a success in the WWE.
