Hey everyone, I know a few of you have been asking to view some old SCW shows of mine and hopefully a few other people will want to view them too so have taken it upon myself to start a weekly SCW Archives thread. The set of SCW shows I will post are from the third incarnation that SCW took as the SCW shows from 2001 and early 2002 are all gone I'm afraid, except for half of one, so I'm going to hopefully put up a series of about 30 shows over the coming months. After watching them back myself some do look really basic and dodgy in places, which is a testament to how far pic feds have come in the modern age, going through feds like JWF, PWF and more recently WCM. The shows also include the famous Weapons Tower matches, which were my speciality really, so please stick with the early shows and you will be rewarded! Enjoy. Titch P.S. If bandwidth goes down, be patient and I'll try and sort something out!

Well it was pretty much what I expected, poses were really, really stiff and a few blurry shots. Your show could of benefitted from the use of string to pull off some of those high impact moves and what the hell was that green stuff on the Austin figures head? I dont know if this was your first show or if your shows improved over time but if it WAS your the first of yours it was a decent outing, I guess my only gripe is this really should be posted in the discussion board section so as an almost ten year old show that I am sure got its fair amount of replies isnt knocking down new work from current fedders. You should have like a thread there OR in the archive section. Nice little arena, cool effects at the begiining for the pyro's and a neat little backstage section. I really think to show off your talents you should start with your very BEST show ever and show us your pinnacle of pic fedding, then hit us with the regular shows. Looks like you had fun doing this and man do I miss my ttl figs! I had a ton of them I tell ya. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Thanks for the reply mate. Micro and I had a chat and agreed that one thread would be made and I would just keep updating this rather than starting a new one each time. That way people looking down the page will just see one SCW thread rather than loads, which pushes down other people's work as you said. I started off with this one as then people can be taken through the storylines as they develop rather than just showcasing one or two matches. The poses do get better (likewise the green hair gets removed) so hopefully you'll stick around for them.

Waitaminute...
So if I post a NEW show it could be knocked down by a show TEN YEARS OLD? That was ALREADY posted?
Might have to think twice about posting shows here then, just doesnt feel right to me, this belongs in the discussion board, to be fair to others that are currently working oin shows.
Your one thread could be in the discussion board and updated like you said instaed of on the main page. Whats to stop others from doing this as well when they feel like coming back to post their old shows.
Thats why there is an archive section right?

Fair point buddy, I'll PM Micro and ask him to move it over there. Now I think about it, if others start doing it the board would begin to get clogged up. Apologies!

This was fun to watch, as Big-E states, it's a nice trip down memory lane and the TTL era. It's odd for me to find WCM being mentioned as an example in other people's posts too, lol. Thanks for the nod. I do agree this should go in the discussion area. Anyway and anyhow, thanks for the sharing.

Good point, Bigeviljohn...I had suggested one overall thread to avoid lots of weekly posts of a "retro" show but I wouldn't want such shows to come at the expense of our new shows. You're right, if a bunch of old shows get reposted, it will clutter up our main board. Therefore, I'm moving this to the Discussion Board...BTW, thanks for posting the nice blast from the past, Titch!

Really don't see why this is worthy of being reposted 10 years after the fact, and if this is building towards something of quality then it looks like this is gonna be a really lengthy process.

Well, it still beats the usual "Whoa, like guys, I just came up with like the bestest idea ever in the history of ever to make like the most super duper original wrestling show ever and unlike any other that ever was before it, and I'll call it... here it comes... here it comes... WWE! Expect it to come out before the next Guns N' Roses reunion! Whoa! Rocking! Bitchin'! Groovy!"

I enjoyed this a lot Titch. I love seeing this older stuff. Always neat to see where things came from and how things have evolved. I can see how some of this stuff was really unique for it's time period. I also like that the show didn't drag on and on. Look forward to seeing more.

A few people had asked to see it, seems fair enough to me. Anyway, looking forward to some SCW shows from when I remember soon haha, a real trip down memory lane.

I don't have a problem with it. I like seeing these old shows. Keep em' coming, Titch! This was a nice little flashback.

Thanks for the replies so far, guys, glad that both new and old (Hollywood Asia!) are viewing it and enjoying it. June, the quality improves soon, don't worry. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait. Here is Episode 2 anyway, will try and put them up quicker than one a week, although this may get tricky when the shows in Flash start coming through. SCW WarZone Episode 2 - originally aired 4th January 2003: www.scwwarzone1.8m.com/A1.htm

Updated with a couple more shows. Will hopefully post the PPV next weekend as I'll need a bit more time to upload it as obviously it's a longer show.

The PPV is up, apologies if a few pop-ups appear, Tripod was my best free option. Hope you all enjoy it, it was better received than the WarZones. Feedback is always welcome.

This is ridiculous. If we are going to have a thread dedicated to the archives of a decade old show, it should at least be of a quality fed.
The poses are beyond stiff, and it's not something that "improves" as the fed progresses, during the PPV my only mark-out moment was when Raven slightly bent his knee.
These shows set a bad precedent, and are in no way, shape,or form acceptable pic fedding, be it past or present. The figures have points of articulation for a reason. All I see is a bunch of TTL figs moving around the ring and then one sloppily laying on the other for a 3 count.
I know shows are not being posted, but featuring these on the board is a joke and makes me think twice about posting shows in the future, especially considering these obominations have recieved more traffic than any of my previous shows.

June, I'm sorry to hear you didn't like it, but if you want to see really good poses then there's a Poses Board for that sort of thing. Pic Feds are about storylines and putting on great matches, fair enough poses are part of that, but when you're using TTL figures it's a little bit more difficult. The fact that this looks so dated is because it is exactly that. Dated. A thirteen-year old boy attempting to run a pic fed. This was before Haggar or Mr NrrrrG took it to the next level of Pic Feds with their incredible poses.
And I'm sorry, but you don't have any right to state what was an acceptable pic fed back in the day, seeing as though you weren't here then. It may be that if these were brand new shows then yeah, they would get slated and not stand out as much, but I'm not posting them as brand new shows.
Just try and enjoy it for a bit of light relief if you insist on viewing them, or if not then no one is forcing you to view them. Let's try not to make another argument on this board, everyone needs to stick together and do the opposite.

Let's try not to make another argument on this board, everyone needs to stick together and do the opposite. I have no idea who those pic fed revolutionaries were that you referenced to. Just as in actual wrestling, I feel that when watching a pic fed you must suspend your disbelief, and it's impossible to do during these shows when there is no articulation. I strongly doubt that this is how pic fedding was 10 years ago, and to be honest I dont care. I did not post this to start an argument, I was simply being honest and feel it is terrible, and not a good representation of what pic fedding is all about. My fear is that the casual lurker sees this, and draws inspiration from it, thus leading to new shows lacking in poses, or a bunch of guys just posting old stuff quality or not. I feel offended that you hide behind the "limited articulation" defense, I saw a show featuring micro aggressions that blows this, and most of the other current Feds out of the water. Ok so you were 13, fair enough but we have kid here that's 15 and has been fedding for a year now and his first shows are much better than this. I'm also sure many of us have art work and crafts that we did in elementary school but I don't think we should rush to post it here as if it were some groundbreaking piece of history worthy of time capsule status. I agree that we should stick together, but posting old shows on the main board and having it stickied to the the top does not help morale of people that have made shows this decade.
