The story behind it is quite touching. I'm paraphrasing so it might not be 100% but the story I know is the girls dad was on the Titanic, and wrote to his daughter before it went down saying he'd see her soon. What's happening here is the dad coming out of the water and his daughter on the other side of the city walking to meet each other in the middle.
I'm going into town later so if they're still there it's defo gonna be worth a look

Yeah they made this story from a letter from a daughter to her father who died on the titanic.
I agree that it's creepy, but pretty awesome at the same time, a lot of work went into this.

It looks pretty good but what an extreme waste of money. I thought the same, but actually, I believe the economic impact of the event was greater than the cost, so it worked out really well. |

I think it cost something like 1 & half million quid. I can't see scousers spending anywhere near that much on a day out lol.
