He was a really great customizer and was also a fellow wrestler. He sadly passed away in 2005 in a wrestling accident during a show. I had one of his customs and the guy was really on top of the game in the customizing world. As for your site, I don't know if his site is still around or not..

That is awful, i remember going onto quirks customs all the time when i first got the Internet, i always loved his NOD Owen hart. Best Hasbro customs ever. What a terrible tragedy, RIP Quirk.

He was one of the main people that got me interested in doing customs back in the 90s.
I wish there was an archive of his work still online. It might be in the internet archive's wayback machine, but I don't know was the page's address was.

Quirk was never ON TOP but he did do some good work from what I remember people talking about. I have a whole archive of old customizers work so if someone can post just 1 of his hasbros to jar my memory I can pull up some of his work (if it was worth keeping). I do have a memory disorder but if I remember correctly his work wasn't really praised as much as it was until his unfortunate incident/passing. RIP Quirk............

One of the first sites on the internet I used to go to was WWF Mirror Images, way back in 1998 or 1999. I remember they linked to Quirk's Customs, and at the time it blew me away to see someone putting such an awesome effort into the hobby. I probably saved a few images, but I was just a kid and didn't really think about preservation sort of things back then, so all that stuff is lost. Just kinda assumed that since it was on the internet and somewhat popular at the time that it surely would be around forever. Now we all know better!

I used to drool over his customs when I first started surfing the web... He was the first guy I had ever seen who actually customized his own titan tron from scratch! Still having a bunch of Hasbro figures, you had no idea how much I wanted his Hasbro-scaled titan tron!

It saddens me a little that nothing was mentioned of his customs on there.

I own about 45 Quirks customs, which I believe is about 1/3 all the customs he ever made and 1/2 of them that are still in existence, because he disassembled many to reuse parts for new ones (shame!)

Shawn Michaels (obviously modeled after the prototype) Made from Michaels head, Virgil torso and arms, and Hogan #4 or DiBiase #3 legs Bret Hart - a repainted Bret Hart APA Faarooq - Made from Hulk Hogan head on Papa Shango There was a APA Bradshaw that went with it made from a Hacksaw Duggan head on a Texas Tornado, but I believe that figure is lost :-(

Taka & Funaki - Made from a Rick Rude and a Marty Jannetty D-Lo Brown - Made from a Virgil head on a Demolition Crush There was a Chaz that went with this D-Lo made from a carved Rocker Shawn Michaels head on a Savage #1 body with legs I have forgotten, but like the APA Bradshaw, this figure has sadly been lost :-(
