Just watched the videos for ASW, my god! Is there ever a show that those guys don't give 110% for that company!?
If the shows came off better on DVD, I'd buy more.

Commentary, lack of ring introductions. Really takes me out of the shows. The action is unmatched by any company, though.
PWG is what ROH could/should be.

I just wish they showed entrances, like hearing Kenny omegas return a few months ago would have been awesome

Entrances is the big miss. I don't get it. If it's due to theme songs being copywritten, how did ECW get away with it? How does Chikara and ROH get away with it?
The commentary can sometimes be hilarious, but the humor and lack of professionalism can often take away from the show. Again, best wrestling in the states right now, in my opinion (and has been since 2011) and the commentary often comes off as a joke.

ECW played for the rights for some themes, not all though. The rest was all illegal, which considering how small they are isn't that big of a deal imo. And I dont mind the numerous commentary, I just don't like how they talk about things some of us might not understand nor care about.

That's what I mean. The start of either Ryan/Claudio or Bucks/Generico & Ricochet, they were discussing Archer.
That's the stuff that sometimes takes me out of the incredible wrestling going on. Comic books, people in attendance that most viewers don't know, etc.

Part of the deal with Highspots is they can't have unlicensed entrance music on the dvds. The music they always use is only because it from Brandon Bonham's band.

Much appreciated, but eff Highspots! Just sell through their site and ROH's, like they already do.
Unless it's the sponsoring agreement.

Does anybody have any idea when they stopped showing them? I have the first show and they're on there I believe

I imagine Highspots purchases a few hundred per title. If they are indeed the number one buyer which they obviously are you are going to do whatever it takes to make them happy.

I don't understand that statistic. They charge the same as PWG and ROH do. I buy mine from ROH's store if I can, since I get 15% off. Today I placed two orders to complete the 2011 shows:
From PWG: All Star Weekend Nights 1 & 2 - $14.99 each
From ROH: Eight, BOLA 2011, Perils of Rock n Roll Decadence, Steen Wolf and Fear - $12.47 each

PWG probably makes more profit if you buy it direct from their website. Shipping is also slower from them. I imagine Highspots pays $8 or less and ROH pays $10 or less from Highspots. I'm not even entirely sure why ROH sells PWG dvds. The Highspot deal probably guarantees they sell a certain amount of every dvd whether it be four or five hundred copies.

Can't wait to get my DVDs from PWG and ROH's sites. A few shows before it, but I can't wait to watch Steen Wolf!
