This thread was pretty hot last year. What happened to all the pwg fans? Dont know, dieded. Waiting for DDT4 results to come in. Attendance was said to be super no vacancy, so in the 400+ range. There were a bunch of "Johnny Gargano" chants before the show even started. (1) Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Baretta) beat RockNES Monsters with a Doomsday chokeslam on Goodtime in a DDT4 First Round match. (2) Unbreakable F'n Machines (Michael Elgin & Brian Cage) beat PPRay (Peter Avalon & Ray Rosas) via Elgin bomb on Avalon in a DDT4 First Round match. (3) PWG champ Adam Cole & Kevin Steen beat Joey Ryan & Candice LeRae via superkick followed by a Package Piledriver followed by a superkick on Joey in a DDT4 First Round match. (4) Inner City Machine Guns (Ricochet & Rich Swann) beat A.C.H. & A.R. Fox via standing 450 followed by a top-rope 450 in a DDT4 First Round match. (5) Tommaso Ciampa beat Adam Thornestowe via knee to the face. (6) Best Friends beat PWG champ Adam Cole & Kevin Steen in a DDT4 semi-final match. Best Friends won via distraction from Candice, allowing Trent to roll up Steen for the win. (7) Ricochet & Rich Swann beat Michael Elgin & Brian Cage via assisted Yoshi Tonic on Cage in a DDT4 semi-final match. (8) Drake Younger became #1 contender to the PWG Title by winning a four-way match over Chris Hero, Johnny Gargano, and Kyle O'Reilly. Younger pinned O'Reilly via Drake's Landing to win. Friday, March 28 is the next PWG show. (9) Best Friends beat Inner City Machine Guns via Awful Waffle on Swann to win the DDT4 tag tournament. Chuck Taylor & Trent Baretta are the tournament winners. |
