You know, AJ and ZSJ could have a really fun reprisal of AJ vs. Suzuki.`

Jonathan Karate I meant to put Styles/Ricochet. Styles/Alexander is happening at a upcoming ROH show. Sabre could work with almost the whole PWG roster and put on 5 star matches

Sabre could work with almost the whole PWG roster and put on 5 star matches It's funny because if you replace PWG with pretty much any promotion's name, it still works.

I take it you don't follow much Indy wrestling in the states. There are some GARBAGE promotions outside of the mainstays like PWG, ROH, DGUSA, EVOLVE, CZW, Chikara, AIW and Beyond. You put him in one of those promotions your almost gaurenteed a 5 star match. You put him in there with Joe Blow from cocomo and idk how well he does. Then again I'm pretty sure ZSJ and a broom stick could get a 5* rating........he's just that good.

I'm pretty sure ZSJ could guide most sh-tty indie guys to a good match. Maybe not a ***** match, but he's certainly capable of making really horrible guys look really good.

When he did the Best of the Best in CZW he botched a few times in his first round match (vs. Akuma and Jon Gresham) which wasn't with slouches by any means. But once he got in there with Cole.......wooooooooo boy. Please tell me one of you have seen the Future Shock/LDRS of the New School matches.......hands down best tag team match I've ever seen. So happy i got to see the rematch live.

You know, the more I think about Fish coming to PWG, the more excited I feel. I'm confident that he'll work well with Cage. BOLA is going to be really awesome.

Legit.

I just finished ASW 3 Crazymania. What a show. I wish they'd bring Necro Back.

Wasn't massively impressed with Mystery Vortex II...wasn't bad, wasn't great... I was hoping to purchase Mystery Vortex II along with the new Super Dragon DVD, but I think I'll just hold off my purchase of Super Dragon's DVD for BOLA's DVD releases.

So, do you guys think they're gonna go with a quicker-than-usual turnaround for the DVDs of BOLA this year? They're usually pretty quick but it's got a lot more hype than the usual PWG shows and you'd have to figure if they deliver, people aren't gonna want to wait five or six weeks for them to get in stock.

Agreed Chris, I felt it was a pretty weak show, especially the main event. My brother and I just flat-out laughed at the pathetic Hero/Ciampa match; boy were we surprised at just how bad it was...the other matches seemed to just go through the motions... I just despised that match, couldnt get into it. Others loved it though, which confuses me personally, I didnt get what there was to like. All felt really slow and bland.

Saying strong style is diluted in the US implies that guys here ever worked it to begin with 99% of the guys people call strong style really wrestle the old All Japan style, or at the very least the carbon copy of that style from the previous generation of indie wrestlers.

When I think strong style in the states there's really only two guys I've ever thought of and that's Eddie Kingston and Joker.

Dude does not get enough respect in the business. He can be a little difficult to work with but he was one of the best workers in the sport around 2007. He and Hero were putting on matches that was instant classics. Anyone that hasn't seen their Loser Leaves CZW match should go watch it. One of my favorite wrestling matches of all time. Those two had unbelievable chemistry.

I really wish King was still being used in ROH. I liked that team with him and Homicide, those two had a really fun old school style tag match with the Wolves in what turned out to be the Wolves' last ROH match.
