I just finished PWG ELEVEN.
Overall I thought it was a pretty good show, one of my favourites from the past few ones which is good. Besides Steen's final match and the impromptu tag title match, only the Main Event was really of note.
When I first saw the previews, I, like many others, thought it was really un-realistic that a woman wrestler would take a tandem tombstone to the outside followed by a superkick with thumbtacks then somehow win the match. The match was all of that un-realism. The psychology being thrown out the window annoyed me but I thought the storytelling with Candice fighting back like that was good.
To those thinking about purchasing the show or watching it, I certainly wouldn't say for you to be against it as it was an enjoyable show with a surprising MOTN (to me at least.)

Hearing Gulak/O'Reilly was reminiscent of Shibata/Ishii was more then enough already lol. |

I finally got to watch Eleven last night. Tag Title match was awesome, very innovative. The whole show was good, but that's the one that stood out, O'Reilly/Hero was way too long.

That's how I've been feeling about a lot of Hero's matches lately. He is in a really bad slump of bad matches since being released. |

I finally got to watch Eleven last night. Tag Title match was awesome, very innovative. The whole show was good, but that's the one that stood out, O'Reilly/Hero was way too long. Yeah, when I heard that went 36:00 I was like, "no thanks", I'm a fan of both guys but I don't need to see 2014 Chris Hero going 25+. I finally got to watch Eleven last night. Tag Title match was awesome, very innovative. The whole show was good, but that's the one that stood out, O'Reilly/Hero was way too long. That's how I've been feeling about a lot of Hero's matches lately. He is in a really bad slump of bad matches since being released. The AJ Styles match from Dayton was awesome but I'm a bit biased since I was there live and I liked the Masato Tanaka match. Everything else has been...lukewarm to say the least. |

Yes, very true. But I've watched his ROH stuff, his CZW stuff, his Chikara stuff... there's a reason Kingston isn't "recognized" at this point. Because he's not that great. I thought Kingston's stuff with Lince Dorado, Cesaro and Mike Quackenbush in Chikara were top quality tbh. Also, really looking forward to seeing Zabre Jr's matches from BOLA. |
