I'm hearing Michael McDonald vs. Urijah Faber for the interim bantamweight title. Honestly the interim title is stupid, it's basically the number one contender championship. Wish they'd piss this idea off, like with Condit being the interim Welterweight who's not gonna defend it. What was the point of winning it?

well, in like the case of condit, his first fight looks like itll end up being gsp. but if gsp suffers a setback, then they still have a champ in place to face nick, or hendricks, or whoever. same case here... say faber wins. you gotta assume his first 'defense' would be against cruz, but if cruz has a setback and cant go, they still have a titleholder at the division.

Should be Barão vs. Faber.

Meh I'd rather the division just battle it out until the champion comes back, the interim belt really just seems to mean nothing as soon as the real champion comes back. Perhaps I'm not looking at it like I should but meh, I just don't like it personal. Anyone else got a view on it?

Well I don't know. I don't exactly have a huge problem with interim titles. After all, most fans KNOW who the real champion is, and it's really just there as a place-holder. On top of that, it gives us an excuse to see a 5-round fight.

Sucks to hear about Cruz... I was looking forward to Cruz/Faber 3, especially with all this build-up on TUF. If there's going to be an interim-title fight, I'm cool with either McDonald or Barao... I'd probably go with Barao due to his amazing winning-streak.

Barao should get the fight. Makes the most sense to me.

(for those that don't watch TUF) - Barao has officially been confirmed as Faber's opponent for the interim title. Really interesting fight.

I honestly don't see Sonnen making it out of the second round. Maybe third.

pretty solid card. big mel needs a ko... im in on alot of those fights though. tibau/nurmagomedov, menjivar/easton... and i always love those guys like mckenzie and paul sass, that have one thing they do amazingly well, and you know its coming, and i love to see whether it can be stopped. i think money will, and win the fight... but still, i love watching those fights.
and thats before the two main events... tito/forrest could be fun, if they both come to bang.

Wow, the rematch I've been waiting for is almost here!! I would LOVE to see Chael pull it out and finally be the man to stop Anderson Silva in the UFC. However, that's what I'd LOVE to see happen. What I THINK will happen is something completely different.
I think after all the trash-talk Chael Sonnen has done, I think Anderson Silva will make an example of him. I think it'll be quick and sudden. I wouldn't be surprised if this one is over in the first round. If anyone could do it, it's Anderson Silva.
Tito and Forrest should be a good fight as well. If this is going to be Tito's farewell fight, I'd love to see him go out with a win.

I think we'll see more resistance from Silva as far as Sonnen's takedowns go. He'll use a more circular movement and rely on the cage stop the takedown. I'm sure he's working on even more submissions, and ways to get back up to his feet after the first bout. I'm predicting a round 2 TKO or submission. But, the first fight was amazing. It was drama-filled and had an awesome ending. I just hope it's as exciting as the first one, but I see it ending quicker than the first. Stranger things have happened, though. Can't ing wait.

Im hoping Chael is the one to slay the dragon. However he's not going to be able to use the exact same method he used in the first fight because Anderson is a world class athlete and I know for a fact he has worked day in and day out on his takedown defense, submissions and getting back to his feet. Chaels gonna have his work cut out for him and im hoping he pulls it out.
