The last show looked really interesting. Hopefully you bring in Callihan and make him a big player. Plus bring back Paul London. Other than that don't over-do the Generico/Steen feud but keep Steen the way he is, absolutely awesome.

Did you put Chuckie T in the main event just so I'd have to reply again? If so, you're smarter than I give you credit for. Solid first card, Steen/ Taylor and SSB/ American Wolves could be epics plus El Generico/ Strong could be special. A great undercard as well with Ricochet/ Mach as a particularly interesting clash.
It's nice to know there's a PWG diary here with someone who knows their stuff. Can't wait for the show Chris.

| 5/25/12 - Reseda, California |
1) The Fightin' Taylor Boys(Brian Cage Taylor & Ryan Taylor) defeated. The RockNES Monsters(Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma) via pinfall - The opening match the evening saw the ever popular RockNES Monsters go up against the devious tactics of two thirds of the Fightin' Taylor Boys. This was a fun opener for the show, with the crowd heavily behind the RockNES Monsters throughout. The finish to the match eventually arrived with Ryan Taylor rolling Johnny Yuma up and holding on to the tights to steal the victory for his team.
2) Adam Cole defeated. Ray Rosas via pinfall - Ray Rosas is a rising star in the so cal scene and has taken part in 2 entertaining matches in PWG. This was by far his best showing as he took on the young, yet more experienced Adam Cole, one half of Future Shock. The match itself was back n forth, and entertaining for the crowd with the eventual finish arriving with Rosas taking control of the match, whipping Cole in to the corner. Rosas charged across the ring but Cole countered with the super kick, connecting hard on the jaw of Rosas. Rosas turned around, stunned allowing Adam Cole to hit the Backstabber and pick up the three count for the victory.
3) The Young Bucks(Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) defeated. Chris Kadillak & TJ Perkins via pinfall - TJ Perkins has been a semi-regular member of the PWG Roster since 2007 and returns once more to team with another rising star of the so cal indy scene, Chris Kadillak. The Young Bucks have been looking to look good since losing the PWG Tag Team Championships to Kevin Steen & Super Dragon. The match may have got lost in the shuffle in a really stacked card but the crowd were still entertained and enjoyed the highspots that featured all four men. The finish to the match eventually arrived with The Young Bucks hitting more Bang for your Buck on Chris Kadillak to pick up the victory.
4) Willie Mack defeated. Ricochet via pinfall - These two men have met once before at All Star Weekend Night 2 the previous year where Ricochet was the one to pick up the victory. Willie Mack has been on a role this past year with victories over the artist formerly known as Chris Hero, Kassius Ohno, as well as Roderick Strong. This rematch saw just as good a match as their first encounter was with both men hitting their spots. Willie Mack eventually picked up the victory after connecting with the Chocolate Thunder Bomb.
-----Intermission-----
5) Kyle O'Reilly defeated. Colt Cabana via submission - Future Shock go two for two in their matches tonight thanks to a successful showing from Kyle O'Reilly against crowd favourite no matter where he is, "Art of Wrestling" podcast presenter, Colt Cabana. Cabana had some comedy bits going during the match but O'Reilly was having none of it and was only getting embarrassed to be outsmarted by Colt with humorous counters and holds. The match eventually got serious and after a had hitting encounter, O'Reilly countered the Colt 45 with a leg trip, hooking the ankle with the ankle lock. Cabana tried to fight out of it, but after rolling out of it twice, O'Reilly still had the ankle lynched, and Cabana had no choice but to tap out.
6) Roderick Strong defeated. El Generico via pinfall - From the opening bell, the crowd were split with "Let's go Generico, Lets go Strong" chants, completely split 50-50. A hard hitting back n forth encounter from the start that featured a little bit of everything from stiff kicks, to technical throws and submission holds. The finish to the match finally arrived with Generico sending Roderick Strong to the top rope, looking to connect with the super brain buster he is famous for. Roderick battled out of the what would surely be match ending situation and managed to turn Generico around. Roderick lifted Generico from the backdrop but instead fell forward in to the ring and connected with a top rope backdrop in to a back stabber. Generico contorted awkwardly as he crashed to the canvas, and Roderick hooked the leg to pick up the victory.
7) Super Smash Brothers(Player Dos & Player Uno) defeated. The American Wolves(Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) via pinfall - Fresh off a win in the DDT4 tournament, The Super Smash Brothers continue their success by defeating one of the most renowned tag teams on the independent scene, The American Wolves. Richards & Edwards were stiff from the start, punching hard and kicking even harder, but the fun lucha duo from the mushroom kingdom wouldn't back down and gave just as good as they took from the current and former ROH World Champion's. The finish to the match eventually arrived with Davey Richards accidentally spin kicking Eddie Edwards out of the ring allowing Player Dos & Player Uno to connect with a combo of moves on Richards, from a series of super kicks, to their "Pac Man Fever" a double spike piledriver. Dos hooked the leg of Richards to pick up the surprising victory.
8) Kevin Steen defeated. Chuck Taylor via pinfall to retain the PWG World Championship - The main event of the evening had arrived with "The Kentucky Gentleman" receiving his very first chance at the PWG World Championship. Taylor is an odd case on the indy scene, as he almost always potrays the heel but is still cheered and loved by most fans. Steen could almost classify the same and while this match wasn't as good as Roderick/Generico, it was still a highly entertaining finish to the show. Chuckie T got several near falls through out the match, the biggest being near the end where after two failed attempts, he finally connected with the Awful Waffle, which should have won him the belt, but Steen kicked out at the very last moment. The match continued on as Chuck Taylor found himself on the apron with the champion steadying himself in the ring. Taylor jumped on to the top rope in the middle of the apron and spring boarded towards Steen only to receive a kick to the gut, which was followed up immediately by the Package Piledriver. Steen hooked the leg and picked up the three count to retain the championship.

Good stuff Hammers. Loving the logo, looks old school. Would have thought you'd push the RockNES, maybe its a slow burn. Great to see TJP around, always a big fan. Wonder what you'll do to keep the Bucks interesting. I can see Mack getting pushed in this. Great to see O'Reilly go over. Would have put Generico over Roddy. Big win for the SSB. PWG need more American Wolves, either singles or as a team. Good to see Chuckie T in the main event but I knew he wasn't going to win. Next card looks stacked, for me Davey/Sami stands out and obviously the main event. Good luck and keep this up.

Woo, first show! Let's get down to it: - Okay, not sure on the layout. It's simple, which part of me likes, but then part of me thinks it's a little too simple. I don't think you need the small font, but that's just me. - Good win for the FTB, as you know I'm a huge fan of Chuck Taylor, and Brian & Ryan are definitely growing on me through their work with him. - Cole/ Rosas is a nice showcase for your younger talent. I think Rosas has a lot of potential, but Cole was the right call to go over here in my mind. - Always good to see TJ Perkins making an appearance, would love to see him become a regular since I think it's long overdue. I liked The Young Bucks going over but the real test here is keeping them relevant after they finish feuding for the tag titles. - I enjoyed Mack/ Ricochet from ASW2 so this rematch of sorts was nice. Another solid win for Mack, I'm fully expecting a push for him. - I think O'Reilly is another really good young prospect, and a win over Cabana makes him look really good. Loved the idea of the comedy/ straight man spots between the two. - As a big fan of both men I'd love to see Strong/ Generico go at it, this one sounded like a solid contest. I liked the sound of the finish but I'm not sure putting Roddy over was the right call, part of me just thinks a win for Generico would have done big things for him and this seems like the right time for that. - Huge win for the SSB here, and one they definitely need to keep their momentum after DDT4. The clear build here is to their title match and a win over the American Wolves, who I'd like to see more from, does wonders for them. - You know I'm a massive fan of Chuckie T, so I did have a little mark out moment when I saw he was getting the title shot. After getting Steen/ Callihan at DDT4 this is the match I want to see right now. Part of me knew Taylor wasn't going over, but it doesn't make it hurt any less. Good to see him keeping up with the champ though and hopefully we'll see a rematch down the line. - Solid first show, not a lot to complain about which is new for you. The next cards looking big, though I'm surprised your pulling the trigger on AfD/ SSB this early. Richards/ Callihan and Edwards/ Elgin should be superb. Can't wait Chris, keep it up.

This looks interesting if you manage to keep it up, not the biggest follower of PWG but no enough about the talented roster at your disposal.
You have my attention and I will be following and will post a more detailed response after a few more shows
