Well for someone who only needs a few more of them and is having terrible luck, knowing about that set earlier would have been helpful

Saw Ra's at the same Walmart I found my Catwoman. Was surprised to see him considering I just got him on Amazon. But you know if I never got him on Amazon he would've never shown up at Walmart today. That's always how it works.

Out of curiosity, when is that McFarlane Gotham City Rogues Steelers player figure supposed to be out? I feel like by the time they release this figure nobody will care anymore... :/

Any details on TDKR series 2? There's gotta be one. They HAVE TO finally make a Lucius. I think the line is totally incomplete with out him. They need Talia as well.
Also, are these figures easy to find ATM at TRU? I'm going there in a bit. Hopefully they'll have some.
I already have Batman and Bane. Catwoman is coming in the mail. So I just need 3. But I will buy a Gordon on ebay or something. I might even get the Batman/Bane 2pack.

They are easier to find at Walmart honestly. I saw Ra's there last weekend.

I was able to get Alfred today at TRU. I saw regular Catwoman as well but I didn't get her since she's coming in the mail.
So no news on a Series 2? Maybe they'll hold off on that until the DVD is coming out.
Besides Talia and Lucius, we also REALLY need a Bruce Wayne in a suit. No jacket, just a dress shirt and tie. It's beyond me why they haven't made this yet. Surely that would sell better than an Alfred.

Sadly I don't think we'll see anymore. If they did characters from all the movies ever made that would be awesome!!

Didn't they make 2 series for The Dark Knight? Why not for TDKR? Surely both can work.
Surely there will be more Batman movies in the future.... but it's gonna be a reboot so I'm betting we'll be looking at an entirely different line of figures by then.... not "Movie Masters".
If they were going to make figures from the 1989-1997 movies, they'd have to buy so many rights for that first, permissions from the actors, etc. Plus they wouldn't sell good amongst kids now a days who have no clue about those movies. Making figures from a current blockbuster is another story.
In all honesty I prefer to forget all about the old movie series. The Nolan trilogy is simply awesome. I don't even really collect figures anymore but I am just because of this series.
Though for some reason I do have an urge to watch Batman Forever... Tommy Lee Jones' performance is one of the most underrated ever.

True it would end up being more of an adult collector series, which would be neat to see, but probably unlikely.

I think they could be successful if they started making figures from the previous movies....they would just have to be selective.
I don't see any reason why a Michael Keaton Batman and Jack Nicholson Joker wouldn't be hot sellers with kids and adults alike.
Saying that kids today shouldn't know about the first 4 movies is like assuming that when my generation was a kid we didn't know about the TV show with Adam West, which in reality was one of my favorite shows to watch on reruns as a kid.
So I'm positive that the majority of kids, even ones who became Batman fans with the Nolan movies, know about at LEAST Batman and Batman Returns with Michael Keaton.

I don't think you will ever get a Nicholson Joker because of the cost it would take to get his rights for his likeness. Mattel has the rights to Michael J. Fox and the Doc from BTTF and they are willing to sit on them because they can't figure out how to use them.

If a company can make these: ...you would think the largest and supposedly richest toy company in the world would be able to afford the rights to these men's likeness and would be able to produce Movie Masters sized figures of them at a cheap enough cost and sell them at a high enough price to spin a profit, right?

Still no Ra's. I did see (and pass) on another Alfred today. The only thing I did purchase today was "the Bat" for the 4" line at kMart for $25. (They never took last weeks sale price tags down)

How do the DC Universe Classic Batman figures fit in with the movie masters?
