Woooooooooooooooooooo! I just won a movie masters Joker thug on Ebay!!! Man am I happy! Speaking about that DKR trilogy pack, they should seriously fix the gauntlets on the BB Batman.

They had the DK Trilogy pack at NY Comic Con this weekend. Sorry its not a great shot was hard to take the pic in a big crowd of ppl. Its going to cost $40 but it looks to be worth it. From what I could tell it def will have more articulation and a cloth cape. The face looks unbelievable. Should be out in April.  |

The Movie Masters set seems pretty worthless to me. I guess the whole point of it is to not open it but to display it, but still all three figures are just about exactly the same.
That other Batman though looks amazing, I definitely have to get it some how.

I'll probably pass on the DCD figure. Mainly because at $40 they had better have stopped using the brittle plastic that they use on joint pins, but as of their last wave of AC figures they still were using it. And I am tired of having figures that have been nothing but displayed break from their own weight. I've been collecting DCD since day one and here's figures that have broke just standing on the shelves.

When are those PlayArts DKR Bane and DK Joker figures supposed to come out? I really want those!
That Batman 3-pack is interesting, but most likely a pass for me.

I hear ya PJ but look at that cloth cape. It actually drapes over him, not like those small MM cloth capes. That's what really sold me. Honestly it looks like a mini hot toys fig.

I'm just in a real bad mood. I'll probably get it...but I'm just ready to drop the hobby altogether. I had the DCUC Poison Ivy in my cart at Matty at 12:01 yesterday only to get stuck in the "We're sorry we are experiencing high volume traffic" 5 second page refresh loop for 20 minutes and by the time it sent me to the check out screen she was sold out. It was the one figure from the subscription that was a must have for me as a Batman fan and I've looked forward for it for a year only to get screwed over by Matty. So as we know I have my whole not buy on the secondary market rule...so I won't have her in my collection now.
So I am just very pissed right now. Because they figures I like the best the company makes it impossible to find. So now I have to buy over-priced DCD figures that they still refuse to fix. So in about 6 months I'll go to dust the shelf and his lower leg will stay on the shelf when I pick it up to dust it.

I can't understand why Mattel wouldn't put a figure like Poison Ivy into one of their two ongoing Batman toy lines. It's a brand new figure and she's a well known rogue. Point being, the figure would sell at retail and it's one of the few Batman rogues that collectors have been clamouring for since DCUC's inception. Hopefully there will be a rerelease at some point because it's really crappy that (I'm assuming) a lot of collectors have now missed out on such a highly demanded figure. |

It seemed a few of the Club figures were being worked on to be in the All-Stars or DCUC lines. It is likely early on Ivy was going to be released at retail until retail gave up on the line. As a Club figure she had some pull to get people to sign up. I find it sad the only Batman line to have all his major rouges in it was the first Animated Series line. Toy Biz/Hasbro gave the Spider-man an amazing set of figures, while Batman struggles to get a line on the pegs that showcases the depth of his universe.
I wish Mattel would have expanded the Movie Masters line to include the visual arts crew from the movies takes on other Batman characters.

I wouldn't order anything from KMart.com again. I ordered from them three times over the years (since Batman Begins) and never got what I ordered. Hell 2 of my orders weren't even close to being what was ordered. And then it took over a month for them to credit my card with the last order that was wrong.
