My Collection:  I basically consider my collection complete now since I have every character made. There are a few others I want like the Batman unmasked figure, but other than that I'm not too interested. What about Talia? |

I just picked up Ra's at the Woodberry commons TRU. So I now have 3 complete batsignal. They still had one of everyone else when I left. catwoman was goggles up. Then I went to WalMart and picked up another. So I am now done with MM until they release new characters.

We also need a Lucius, and Bruce Wayne in a suit. I think it's really intellectually- disabled that we don't have Bruce in a suit..... also, it doesn't make sense not to have a Lucius. Believe it or not, a few weeks ago I won an Ebay auction for 12 MOC Movie Masters figures. ONLY for $115!! There's an unmasked Batman and Batman Begins Batman in there. I'm just waiting for them to arrive. The rest I will keep MOC since I have them already. I'll have a spare MOC Bane, Ras, Survival Suit, like 4 Jokers, etc. Incredible deal for $115. I could make a hefty profit off this. I've seen Unmasked Batman go for $115 BY HIMSELF. |

Anyone heard any news about the DKR WalMart pack? Is it 6 or 7 in the set and when is it supposed to hit shelves?

Ewww, those figures are horrible. I only like Movie Masters. I also heard about a Movie Master complete set pack a few pages back. But my understanding was basically that it would be a Wal-Mart website exclusive, not coming to stores. BTW I keep checking this thread like every day, hoping to hear information about a new series. And I'll SCREAM if there's no Lucius or Bruce in a suit. How about? - Talia

But with the BluRay/DVD coming out soon of TDKR, I should be interested for a while yet. I could do without a few of those figures, but I added them just because it would be practical marketing for a toy company. |

Highly doubt they will make anymore sadly...if they were gonna come out with the movie DVD you would've heard about them already....sucks. Can't wait to get the movie though!  |

It's all about TDKR now. I'm betting we can only expect figures from that movie, let alone a movie from 2008 or 2005. That's the pattern this series follows. So it'll all be about The Dark Knight Rises. EDIT: Actually, during the old Movie Masters series for TDK, they did make Batman Begins figures. So maybe they could end up covering the other movies again. But it seems to me they only did Batman Begins figures because they weren't making Movie Masters figures when Batman Begins came out. At this point Batman Begins and TDK have already been covered... Mattel has made what they wanted to. It's possible Mattel would run into problems getting rights back from the first two movies. I kind of agree with what the other guy said.... they might not make any more Movie Masters. It's even more unlikely that we'll get figures from BB or TDK again. Good thing is now I should be able to focus on some Hot Toys figures. I really want the Joker 2.0. |

Yeah I heard something similar, along the lines of a legacy series coming out early next year, featuring figures from all 3 films. At this point if I never have to buy another Christian Bale Batman figure it will be too soon, because there isn't going to be another movie and they did NOT change the Batsuit or the figure from The Dark Knight to the Dark Knight Rises.
But I guess it's easier for them to pump out more Batman's than to create new molds for new characters. So I'd guess the 6" Movie Masters line is done for.

Though that may be my doing since I'm the one that helped drive up the price in an attempt to buy it. Still.... I think this is an awesome deal I got. I'm only opening two of them. I'm saving the rest for display and profit later. |
