Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof has claimed that the show will eventually return in some form.
The Star Trek writer / producer dropped hints about a possible revival at Variety's Entertainment & Technology Summit.
"It's been two years [since the show ended] and we told the story we wanted to tell," Lindelof said.
However, he added: "I do feel like the world has not seen the end of Lost but I'm not going to have any involvement."
Lindelof insisted that he would be happy for a new production team to oversee a Lost continuation.
"It would be hypocritical for me to say I'm going to [reboot] Star Trek but I don't want anyone to touch Lost," he said.
The final episode of Lost aired on ABC in May 2010. Exec producer Lindelof was also the show's chief writer, contributing 45 episodes.

If we get more Lost I'm all for it, as long as it's not a reboot, or about a different group of characters or something stupid like that.
I'd be all for it if we got more with Sawyer, Jack etc.

I was so annoyed when they killed Boone off, and Charlie's death was the start of the series' decline unfortunately. I quite liked Jack. Only character I really hated that was supposed to be a "main character" was Miles.

Loved the show but not sure it would be the same if it came back.
Much rather see them do some spin offs with Hurley/Ben and LOST: The Dharma years.

I'd like to see it sorta based in the future. New people discovering the island and uncovering more on the deeper mythology of it whilst running across the Oceanic years.

Only thing that would work is showing more of the island before 815, or new characters after the events on LOST. We all know that Walt was hand picked to be the new Jacob. Could go from there.

Sawyer....HUGE YES! Jack? Meh. CANNOT STAND JACK! Sawyer, Boone and Charlie were my favorite characters, starting from the pilot. I was so annoyed when they killed Boone off, and Charlie's death was the start of the series' decline unfortunately. I quite liked Jack. Only character I really hated that was supposed to be a "main character" was Miles. 100% agreed on Boone. Charlie was meh to me. Liked him as character, but didnt feel the show lost anything when Charlie died. Besides, I quite liked his death story. Boone should have at least lasted a couple seasons. I think the show made mistake getting rid of one of its most talented actors in Ian Somerhalder. I also quite liked Miles. If he was gone and never to come back....I wouldnt lose sleep over it, but I liked his character. For me Jack bothered me cuz he was the "perfect" character. I cant stand perfect characters. In the beginning it seemed like he was the one always doing the right thing, said the right thing, etc. People followed him blindly, but he never seemed to really have any leadership qualities. He just had the most important talent after a plane crashed.....being a doctor. Only thing that would work is showing more of the island before 815, or new characters after the events on LOST. We all know that Walt was hand picked to be the new Jacob. Could go from there. What are you talking about? Walt was never even seen again after Locke visited him when he returned to the states. Walt grew up and never looked back. I think they could pickup right where they left off. The plane is flying over Jack and Jack is laying there. Maybe Jack dies and Hurley takes over. Maybe he doesnt. Maybe the plane doesnt make it off the island and goes down again. Maybe Whidmore isnt really dead and the smoke monster let him live. There are a lot of things they could do.

You obviously haven't seen the epilogue Well Charlie was one of the few actors I'd actually known of before Lost started, and I loved Lord Of The Rings so it was easier for me to like him. If Lost does return, then they should do "The adventures of Boone".
