I would say it depends on how good your new figures. Post some figures and it should be pretty obvious. |

With heads smudge them so there smooth but not blurry. Add highlights on the cheeks, chin, nose and forehead or where ever needed. Then rub out the white on the eyes but set the brush to around 5O so it leaves some colour. I add a near see-through colour over the hair and beard to make it consistant.
I would find a good figure someone made like Shorty and try copy it as near perfect as you can for practise.
