I noticed the same thing. I saw E14 at Walmart last week. I saw 4 Takers, 4 Cenas, 3 Rocks, and a Del Rio.

If Flashbacks are being left out of certain case assortments I can see shy Edge wouldn't be left out too. He is still current enough for kids to want so they'll leave him in the case. He is also the easiest to find out of the Flashbacks so far.
I have to wonder if TRU got cases like this because the day I went to TRU when the Cube display was put up there were no Booker or Bossman figures. Now granted I got there 5 minutes after they opened, but with as many figures of The Rock that were there you'd think I would have at least seen Booker or Bossman. Probably a scalper snatched them up before anyone else could. Why can't the cases of figures be just that cases of figures. I'll never understand why things like this are done. Not the first time I have heard of this especially with Mattel.

Nah, i do not think they changed the cases. I think they just only packed flashbacks every 1 per case to .5 per case each like they been doing. Flashbacks are just that in demand. Look how many ppl on here complain about prices online and wait for these sets to hit retail, checking there stores everyday. Not to mention scalpers continuously searching there markets waiting for these to hit stores and store employees as well. All these ppl are looking everyday all day long for these figures so chances are, your store got them in and they only had probably 2 of each and someone beat you to it. I had the same issue with the Bella Twins a few weeks ago. My cousin said Walmart had the new battle packs in but only had Cena/ Rock at first. I said yeah all stores were getting those for Wrestlemania but then the next week he went there and they had Cena/ Rock, Cara/ Bryan and i asked him to get me the Bella's but he said they were not there. There were plenty of the others but no Bellas. He checked back everyday and sure enough Wal Mart must not have sat the Bella Twins out yet cause they popped up couple days later and i managed to get them then. So for all ya know The Flashbacks may not have been sat out yet even and if they did, i bet someone grabbed them up easily.

walmart has a say in the case packs they receive, so they may not want any 'Legend' style figures at all. Or someone bought them all. Until someone says they break open a case, and they had no Flashbacks, I dont believe it.

When I saw Elite 13 at WalMart last month or so Edge was in it...That's where I got my first Egde & Cody. I noticed the same thing. I saw E14 at Walmart last week. I saw 4 Takers, 4 Cenas, 3 Rocks, and a Del Rio. A case of Elites is only 8 figures...So it sounds like they were picked through already.

Perhaps, though I could very well be wrong about those numbers. I know there were multiple Cena, Rock, and taker, and only 1 Del Rio. It was over a week ago. I do remember finding it odd that those were the only two missing in an area where figures don't move all that quickly. Also I remember the one time I saw E13 Edge was in fact there.

So far from all the elite 15 reports of finding them at Meier here in the mid west, no one has seen Yokozuna, but all the rest have been found. Looks like they might start doing this with the first shipments of every set. I hope not though. mine had 2 yokos. they had 2 of everyone other than truth they only had one of him. i only got truth and rey, i like yoko but i only get people i can use in my fed. i like to keep it realistic and dont use people that are dead. if they werent so damn expensive i would def buy more

Well at one each per case and they are the only debut figures in the series they could have just been bought first.

It's also possible the Walmart stockperson filled the pegs and sent the rest to the backroom rather than make space for all the new figures. For example one day they have 4 x Orton/Ryan. The next day they add 2 x Rock/Cena. Three days later they add 2 x Bryan/Cara. What happened to the Bellas? One stocker thought 1 row of Battle packs on the floor was plenty. But a second stocker decided 2 rows of Battle Packs would be okay. Collectors have to compete against other collectors, ebay flippers, distribution, and the whims of stockers.

I noticed the same thing. I saw E14 at Walmart last week. I saw 4 Takers, 4 Cenas, 3 Rocks, and a Del Rio. This. I have a Wal-Mart that is less than 5 minutes from my house, so I hit it regularly and often. Since Christmas time a lady that I worked with years ago at Wendy's has been working stocking the toy department, and sees me at least two times a month. I went yesterday at about 6 pm, they had a palette of action figure cases being put out. She knows me and even though she cops a little attitude (which is just her, you would have had to work with her to know she's a little rough around the edges), she knows I collect those "little WWF men". She opened the case for me, and that's all that was in it. It's not unheard of, like those TRU battle pack cases that only have Rock and Cena, and I remembered seeing this thread a few days ago, I just didn't want it to be true. I almost pooped when I saw that it was a case of E14, but was so thoroughly disappointed when there were no flashbacks. It was just one case so maybe they could be every other case. Walmart has had FB figures in the past, that's where I got Edge. I remember on Easter weekend showing up too late to my local TRU, I always forget that TRU opens at 9 am on Saturdays, and it was about 10:15 ish when I arrived. They had a shipper that had around 8 John Cena, 6 Rock, 2 Del Rio's, and 1 Undertaker. There was some empty space on the shipper so I assume a few figures sold. I don't think the Undertaker is that high in demand, so I'm really surprised that they put frickin' 4 of him, 2 to fill the gap of the two Flashbacks instead of maybe 1 extra taker and 1 extra Del Rio, who is a really nice figure and has the shiny belt.

I don't have proof unfortunately, but the one Walmart in my area that actually did get in E11 had no CM Punks in a case. I opened a case myself and there wasn't one CM Punk. It makes you wonder if stores do this to create more foot traffic, but that is just stupid.
If anything it is annoying and it only creates more business for the scalpers. If I find "that figure" I am looking for I am more likely to buy 2 or 3 while I am there, but if I can't find said figures I end up taking the same $30 or $40 and just spending it on ebay for the one figure. The logic these store have is customer can't find Booker T or Boss Man today so he'll buy Alberto Del Rio, customer can't find any Flashbacks again, so he'll buy Undertaker... WRONG! This would be a good plan if they didn't have infinite Cena figures in a case that are eventually going to prevent more figures being ordered becasue now the WWE Section looks like a sea of red. In the end Walmart has No Flashbacks. All I want are the Flashbacks, the money I didn't spend goes to Scalper X. I wish stores would just carry products people want. You don't see stores only getting one copy of Mass Effect 3 to create more foot traffic. Granted this is a bad example but you get the idea.
I really hope RSC gets more business if retailers did stop ordering because people aren't buying anymore it'll give more headway for RSC to get better prices on cases, and better case breakdowns like the retailers get. Wishful thinking, Unfortunately if a Walmart, Target, TRU etc, were to stop ordering new items Mattel would probably just cancel the whole line anyway and everyone loses.
Rant over.

Retail stores hate us and it gets worse every year. They say toys are a loss leader but are videogames that much more profitable? I always wondered that. I wish we could get a second national toy chain but I don't think that will happen too soon.
