Great figure been looking through pictures of Bundy and his weight changes through the years.
I personally think they have done well but whoever sets the figures up for pictures needs to rethink how he poses them and put a little pride into it.

the singlet should have been molded. I don't care if it took a new torso to thighs. Use that as your budget instead of a silly looking shirt that he never wore, that doesn't even have his name on it. His name is King Kong Bundy, not just BUNDY. There's no good reason they couldn't name him King Kong Bundy and if there is, they just shouldn't have made him..
baggy cloth singlet, pointless accessory, and the wrong name on the box.. whole figure stinks of Jakks, not a $30 premium figure..

Looks really good but i would had prefer a lil more chubby and the singles a lil more up but still looks awesome

I love the figure, and am glad they went with the no eyebrows look. I just wish they'd given him the claw hand sculpt to mimic him calling for the 5 count. That's not a make or break issue though  |

I like it! I think I'll pick one up! Like everyone else I would've preferred a molded one, but not a big deal. I just think that they messed up the shape of the singlet from how low it falls on his thighs to how high is the opening in the middle!

Amazing figure, very life like and completely blows Jakks' out of the water. But the shirt with just "Bundy" ruins what is a great accessory piece. I read it was a licensing issue but if the figure is good enough on it's own and the accessory isn't accurate why even bother? It's a Jakks like issue like Jeff Jarrett "Don't make me mad"or Ron Simmons' "Faarooq" shirt. because its still King Kong Bundy. King Kong is just a word. Bundy tells who he is alone. That shirt looks identical to the one released 20 plus years ago. Just cause it does not say King Kong does not make it a horrible product and i for one am glad they made it it because i loved Bundy back in the day, especially when he joined Money Inc and i am totally happy with the figure. Dont buy it if you have a problem with "King Kong" not being used |

AND I AGREE WITH DUMPING THE SHIRT IF THEY LEAVE OFF KING KONG (IN AUSTRALIA BUNDY IS AN ABREVIATED TERM FOR BUNDABERG RUM)

This looks nothing like King Kong Bundy, the Jakks headscan was better, both companies got the body wrong though. The only thing I like about this figure is the T-shirt but I don't like it enough to pay 40 bucks for it.
Sadly another pass for me.

The cloth singlet makes this one an easy pass, but the fact that it's decent custom fodder for Earthquake makes me reconsider.

I am really excited for this figure, I was a big King Kong Bundy fan as a kid and this figure looks great. I just wish this line continues and we can get some more 80s figures.

The legs are ridiculous, especially when you take into consideration that Mattel boasts that they acurately scale figs.
- The head is too small and looks more like a fat Kane than Bundy.
- the legs are huge, Bundy was a big man, but his legs were not massive by any means.
- Bundy had large fat arms, this figure boasts small muscular arms.
- I give the wrist tape a pass, but if this was supposed to be based off of his WM 1 - WM 2 look, then the tape should not be there.
- the most impressive thing about Bundy is the width of his back, that is not featured in this figure.
- Cloth singlet looks like he is wearing an Owen Hart style outfit.
- where are his socks?
Overall, I hate this fig. Just wanted to explain a little more why.

I think the legs are fine. He probably should have been chubbier but I think everything looks great from the pictures. If he had more of a belly, he legs would seem smaller. I can't wait to have it in my hands so I can make judgements myself.  |

I think people are being a bit too critical to be honest... it's a good figure - not great, but still, not terrible. I'll definitely be getting one (...support the Legends line, people!!).  Looks great, def better than jakks. However I won't be buying it, it's not worth spending over $20 just for an upgrade of the Jakks bundy figure I already have. I know the Legends line was cheaper at retail, but I think that ^ is one of the main reasons it failed... it was too soon after the Jakks line and not enough people wanted to "start again" with their Legends collection... |
